We live near the Budweiser factory in Williamsburg, VA. While you can see the factory when you’re going in and out of Busch Gardens Williamsburg, the place is kind of like Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Other than the people who work there, no one gets in and no one comes out. Meaning: you can’t take a Budweiser tour, and only very rarely can you sample the beer made within the factory.

So, when David and I visited St. Louis recently for a wedding, we decided to visit another Anheuser Busch location was within minutes of our hotel. And because we love talking about beer, learning about beer and of course, drinking beer , we rallied our friends and headed over to actually see what the inside of a Budweiser factory looked like.

What we found was a highly interactive tour with lots of knowledge on how a macro brewery works, great views of beer being made in mass quantities and plenty of samples along the way . We enjoyed our time taking a Budweiser tour so much, that I wanted to write down everything you need to know, including a walkthrough of the tour, so you can enjoy your time at the St. Louis brewery.

What This Post Covers:

St. Louis Budweiser Tour & Brewery Information

At the St. Louis location, the options for Budweiser tours are endless. Choices range from a free tour of the facility to a tour solely focused on meeting the brand’s infamous Clydesdales and dalmatians, to a full-blown brewmaster’s tour. All tours explore some portion of the facility, and all tours (even the free one) have sampling opportunities for those 21+.

Tour options can change depending on the time of year, so make sure to check BudweiserTour.com to see what they are offering when you visit.

Budweiser Tour Options & Ticket Prices

There are multiple tour options for anyone who wants to explore the brewery. The most common tour is the “general” tour that is open to the public, doesn’t cost anything and runs every 30 minutes from

General Brewery Tour – This tour is free to the public and offered throughout the year. Of all tours this is the shortest, lasting only 45 minutes, and only gives a basic overview of the facility. This tour is free, but you can also reserve this tour ahead of time for $5 a person (but if you have the time, I’d spring an extra $5 a person and do the Day Fresh tour).

Day Fresh Tour – This tour is one step up from the free tour, lasting 75 minutes and journeying throughout the entire brewery. This was the tour we chose and what this blog post covers. We chose this tour over others because it wasn’t too long (only 75 minutes) and wasn’t too expensive (only $10 a person). For another four dollars, I also added a Budweiser-branded speed opener to our tour, which is a good (and cheap) souvenir.

Beer master Tour – This tour lasts two-plus hours and explores the brewery as a whole. Rather than just focusing on the facilities, this tour also focuses on the brewing process, showing participants how a macro brewery brews beer on a whole. The beer master tour is the most expensive option, coming in at $35/person. However, for the price, this tour includes the most samples, as well as a variety of gifts for being Budweiser’s guest.

Horses & Heritage Tour – This tour explores the most iconic part of the brewery (second to the beer): the Clydesdales and Dalmatians. This tour lets you see the animals up close, learning about why they are iconic and how keepers care for them at the St. Louis facility. The tour costs $25 but includes a sample at the end of the tour.

Budweiser Brewery Tour Location

Public transportation – Unfortunately, public transportation does not drop off near the brewery. If you don’t have a car or your own transportation, your best bet is taking an Uber/Lyft from your hotel to the brewery. However, pickup/drop-off from the brewery is easy, with an easy-to-access

Where Anheuser Busch is located in St. Louis – Anheuser-Busch is located in the Benton Park area of St. Louis, which is on the Mississippi River and about eight miles from the center of town itself. Anheuser-Busch is also located about three miles from the arch, so don’t expect to walk there as part of your St. Louis visit. However, there is a Budweiser outpost located a few blocks from the arch if you don’t want to visit the brewery itself.

Hours – Hours vary widely throughout the year, especially during the holidays. Rather than list them here, I highly recommend you visit the tour website to see when the brewery is open.

Budweiser Biergarten

For those who want a taste of the brewery without having to go on a tour (or who want another beer after the tour), Budweiser has a Biergarten on-premise. Open to the public, you do not need to attend a tour to drink or eat here. We found the Biergarten pleasant because it was filled with a wide variety of food, all either grilled, broiled or fried in Budweiser-branded beer (I don’t know about you, but I’m not going to turn down the chance to try a Budweiser-broiled brat ).

Honestly, we expected the food to be mediocre, as is the par for most chain-level restaurants. Instead, we found food that was fresh and really hit the spot after walking around for a little over an hour and a half. The place is treated as a European beer garden, so servers wander around, and you may get a variety of people helping you. Regardless, we found service to be quick and the beer and food to be fresh .

Budweiser Brewery Tour Overview – Day Fresh Tour

While we explored the Budweiser brewery, we were able to book tickets in advance to the Day Fresh tour. We highly enjoyed this tour, as it gave a succinct introduction to the brewery, while also giving a great glimpse into the macro-brewing process itself.

Why the Day Fresh Tour

If you’re on the fence as to what tour to visit, I highly recommend the Day Fresh tour. We picked this over others because it allowed for us to get through the brewery rather quickly (we were surprised at how efficient the tour was, landing us back at the entrance in almost exactly 70 minutes), but also doing it cheaply for only $10/person.

What interested me in this tour over the others was the day-fresh beer you got on the tour. I was curious, especially on a macro level, to see if the beer tasted different (I won’t spoil your tour and tell you what it tasted like).

NOTE : Most tours are outside, so dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes. You will walk the length of the Budweiser campus, but note that they do send a trolley to pick you up at the end and bring you back to the Biergarten.

Budweiser Lobby

As soon as we arrived, we were ushered into the Budweiser tour lobby. This area is complete with a tour check-in and a gift shop – and not much else. However, if you do arrive early, there are a few exhibits to browse through, making it easy to waste some time.

We tried to hop out to the beer garden to grab some beers to drink on the tour but were told that already-open beers were prohibited. Luckily, the beers we grabbed cost a very high price of $2/can, so we chugged what we could and were on our way towards the day fresh beer.

Clydesdale Stables

After they took our ticket stubs for our tour time, we were on our way. The first stop included a glimpse into the Clydesdale stables. One of the first facts that our tour guide told us was that the Budweiser Clydesdales traveled an average of 300 days a year! As a human, I’m exhausted thinking about that, much less as a horse.

This location is one of two where the horses are housed in the country and the only one that is encased in brick and stained glass (there is a chandelier in the center of the stables that was built in 1885 and weighed over 700 pounds). Each of the horses’ livery is custom-made to their bodies, and horses that are chosen to be part of the fleet are picked based on an extremely strict list of qualifications.

We were able to meet a few Clydesdales that weren’t on travel, including a sweet horse named Bruce. However, I will note that as soon as we were ushered into the stable to meet Bruce, we were also ushered into the tour’s photo opp. We (begrudgingly) grabbed a photo and then explored the stables.

While we waited for the photo, this area also had exhibits explaining the brewery’s history with Clydesdales and Dalmatians. Once we entered, we were also able to take a look at the location’s collection of Budweiser carriages, including one that carried beer in the 1800s.

Beer Production areas

Once we explored the brewery’s stables, we were then led to the beer production areas. The first place we were able to see was the aging cellar – complete with St. Louis’ iconic “Gloria” tank that supposedly helped the Blues win the Stanley Cup.

FUN FACT : Each brew tank holds over 1.2 million 12-oz beers. If you started to drink today from the brew tank, it would take you drinking one beer an hour for the next ~130+ years to drink all of the beer held in the tank.

After the aging cellar, you were then brought to the mash tank. To help the crushed grain turn in to sugar, this room was 30+ degrees warmer than outside, meaning that our tour guide rushed us through quickly, so we didn’t get hot. This was a quick spot on the tour and after this, we moved to the bottling room itself.

The bottling area is held in a building called BEVO and indicated by a fox sitting on the outside (who is also called by the same name). When we visited BEVO was down for maintenance, so we didn’t get to see any beer being bottled. However, they stated that this location does more than Budweiser and Bud Light and is known to bottle a wide variety of Budweiser-branded brews such as Elysian or Shock Top.

After visiting BEVO, we went back down to street level and hopped on to a trolley that brought us back to the start of the tour. We even noted amongst our group that the tour itself took an almost exact 75 minutes, leaving us to enjoy our complimentary 16 oz. beer in the beer garden.

Beer Sampling Opportunities on the Day Fresh Budweiser Tour

There were plenty of opportunities for beer samples and fresh beer on the day fresh tour. Our first sample came right after the stables and before we went up to see the mash tanks (anyone who was under 30 had to show ID before entering the building). In here, you were given the chance to try either Budweiser or Bud Light (and some enterprising few took both samples).

After exploring the mash tank (you had to throw your sample away before heading up), you then venturing to the BEVO building. From there, you headed up to the bottling facility, and we were then presented with an opportunity to taste either Bud Light or Stella Artois Cidre (they told us the sampling options vary based on what was available that day).

After the BEVO tour, we were then allowed to pluck our day fresh beer of Bud Light out of the cases sitting right next to the door. We were told that the beer had been bottled between 3 a.m. and 6 a.m. that day. While this was the end of the tour, and we boarded a trolley from here, we were brought back to an outdoor bar, where we could select any 16 oz. Budweiser beer of our choice (from Bud Light and Budweiser to Shock Top, Kona Golden Wave to Elysian, Bud Amberbock and Stella Artois).

Overall, for our $10 ticket price, we were presented with two samples of beer, a day fresh Bud Light, and one full Budweiser beer of our choosing. For the money, I think I not only got it back when it came to samples, but I definitely felt I got my worth in terms of the tour itself. We finished our tour off by sipping our beers (and having a few more) in the beer garden. Because of the value presented, I would highly recommend this Budweiser tour over others, as I felt it gave you a quick, but wide-variety of chances to both sample and explore the Budweiser campus.

Would I take the Budweiser Tour again?

Meh. Maybe I would, maybe I wouldn’t. Honestly, I found St. Louis to be a city that was rather conquerable in just a few days. So, I don’t think I’d even go back to St. Louis if given the opportunity. BUT if I did find myself there, then I might find myself back at the brewery; but I would not take a tour again and would probably only grab a beer or two in the Biergarten. Rather, I can see myself trying out the local craft beer scene (of which there was plenty in St. Louis and none of which we got to try except for Schlaflys , but only at the airport).

However, I do think that the tour is worth going once, especially if you want to see a macro brewery (which is a rare thing with all of the microbreweries around the country now). The best part of the tour was the free samples and getting to try a “day fresh” beer, and I will probably share that fun fact with anyone who orders a Bud Light within my vicinity in the near future.

Is this tour kid friendly and for people who don’t drink ? Also do you have to pay separate for the horses and brewery tour or is it in one purchase ticket price ? Thanks in advance

Ooh, good questions! This tour is 100% friendly to those who don’t drink. They certainly do not push alcohol on you and it really isn’t even a big part of the tour. In terms of kid-friendly, I would say that it is, but I would also say that there is a fair amount of walking, so I would make sure that your kids are comfortable with that. Please note that the tour I am reviewing above is different than the ‘Horses & Heritage Tour’ which is I think a bit more specific to the history of the site (and the animals!) and less about the alcohol. But the one we did, we still got to see a horse, so it all comes down to what you are looking for. Please let me know how your tour is!!!

Highly recommend the Finisher Tour

The Finisher Tour is amazing if you don't have a lot of time but still want to tour the facility and experience their product direct from within the production facility.

Listen to the guide while you dive deep into the history of the distillery. Just wait until the end part of the tour. Surprise...

Every area, floors, hand rails etc. We're very clean. Our guide was knowledgeable and answered every question. Will definitely book another tour.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff greeted us and led the tour. Every where we went, we noticed how extremely clean and well kept the facilities were.

Opened in the 1850s, St. Louis is our flagship brewery, the headquarters of Anheuser-Busch and the Home of Budweiser. The brewery is remarkable for its beautiful interior and has been offering tours to the public since the 1890s. It is our hub for innovation brewing over 30 of our brands, like beloved favorites Budweiser and Michelob ULTRA. Beer Tour: Visit the Anheuser-Busch Brewery (with the kids)

Remember how I said that St. Louis is known for three things? Beer was one of those three–baseball and  toasted ravioli  being the other two. So let’s talk a little beer.

anheuser busch tour

(NOTE: Anheuser-Busch changed their tours around this month. The free tour is now shorter and takes a smaller group (max. 60). I’m told they no longer visit the bottling facility. They added a longer tour for $10 (kids are $3) that lets you sample more beer and offers a trinket to the kids. I’ll add a fresh post after we get down there and investigate for ourselves!)

St. Louis and the Anheuser-Busch brewery are forever linked, and the founding family of AB has done tons of cool things for moms. You know, beside making us margarita flavored beer.

Without Gussie Busch we may not have awesome things like Busch Stadium (he built the first one for his  Cardinals) or Grant’s Farm . Yep, it was Gussie that opened up the family estate to tourists and established the long held tradition of feeding your children to tiny goats.

We can also thank Gussie for St. Louis’ number one animal mascot–the Budweiser Clydesdales. He gave his dad a hitch of six beer pulling Clydesdales to celebrate the end of prohibition back in 1933.

Now back to the beer. The Anheuser-Busch brewery in St. Louis is open for tours. And yes, it’s is a family-friendly tour. It’s also totally free, so it’s fun touristy thing to do if you run out of ideas and want to do something that involves local history, walking and free beer.

beer tour st. louis

The tour starts in the main lobby where the company has tons of memorabilia set out. Yes, most of this is beer related, but the kids will get a kick out the old truck (which they can get into), some of the racing history and information on the Clydesdales. While you’re waiting, mom and dad can snag a sample of whatever is on tap or check out the gift shop for a Clydesdale toy.

The tour takes about an hour and involves a lot of walking. You can take a stroller, but it’s a bit of a pain due to the escalators and steps. However, the brewery is very friendly and handicap accessible, so a tour guide will give you hand and either show you to a secret elevator or hold the stroller for you.

clydesdale st louis

The tour’s first stop is the Clydesdale stables, one of the historic buildings on the company campus. Back in the day, the Busch family lived right next to their factory and the stable is all that remains of their living quarters. (Remember, they were brewing beer before cars, so it made sense to live next door to your business!) The stable is home to the St. Louis hitch, so there’s always a couple horses around to visit.

Next you’ll see the giant vats where the beer ages then over to another building where the guides will talk about how beer is made and show you more behind the scenes factory stuff. The last stop is the bottling plant were you can see the beer being packaged. Finally, they’ll load you up on a tram and give you a ride back up to the hospitality room.

beer tour st louis

The hospitality room serves up pretzels and two samples of beer for the adults. Kids and non-drinkers can help themselves to free soda.

And everyone is happy.

The Tour Center is open seven day a week . It’s located at the corner of 12th and Lynch Street in Soulard. Take the Arsenal exit off Hwy 55 when you visit. ( Gus’s Pretzel’s is also on Arsenal , just across the highway from the brewery. You might want to work that into your visit too!)

Anheuser-Busch Brewery Tour

Tour the Anheuser-Busch Brewery in St. Louis

Whitney Curtis/Getty Images

You can't talk about beer in St. Louis without bringing up one of its largest companies, Anheuser-Busch. The world-famous brewery has been a part of the city's landscape since 1852. The best way to learn about Anheuser-Busch and its beer-making process is by taking a free tour of the A-B Brewery in Soulard, just south of Downtown St. Louis . For the tours, go to the entrance at 12th and Lynch streets.

Visiting Tips

  • This is a walking tour so make sure to wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes. Part of the tour goes outside, so dress for the weather as well.
  • Children are welcome on the tour, but the brewery is not easily stroller accessible. Children will likely have to walk or be carried during parts of the tour.
  • Fridays and weekends are the busiest times for tours. For smaller crowds, plan to visit on a weekday.
  • Registration is not required to take a tour unless you are bringing a large group of 15 or more.
  • The tour lasts for a little more than an hour. It ends with free beer samples and soda for those younger than 21.

What You'll See

There are three main things you'll see on a tour. First is the Budweiser Clydesdales and their stable. The Clydesdales have been the face of the brand since the 1930s. They make hundreds of appearances every year.

Then, it's a walk through the brewing and bottling areas to see where Budweiser, Bud Light, and other brands are made. This portion of the tour includes stops in the historic Brew House, the fermentation cellar, and the packaging plant. This is where you'll learn about the history of the company and how it grew into the brewing giant that it is today.

Finally, it's a trip to the tasting room for two free samples of A-B products. Soda and snacks are also available. After the tour, you can stop by the gift shop for souvenirs or hit the Biergarten for more food and drinks.

As you might expect, Anheuser-Busch does things in a big way even with its tours. Groups can be quite large, and tours move pretty quickly. There won't be time to stop and chat with the brewmaster about the quality of the hops. If you're looking for a smaller, more personalized brewery tour, try Schlafly Bottleworks, an independent craft beer maker in St. Louis.

If you don't mind spending a little money, you can sign up for Beer School before you take a tour. The half-hour class includes tastings, pouring demonstrations, souvenirs, and information about the brewing process. Another option is the Brewmaster Tour, which offers a more in-depth, behind-the-scenes look at brewery operations.

Parking and Transportation

The A-B Brewery is easy to get to by car, just off Interstate 55 south of Downtown St. Louis. There is no Metrolink stop nearby, so taking the train is not a good option. MetroBuses do run to Soulard, but with plenty of free parking, the best option for many is to drive.

Other Soulard Attractions

Soulard is a historic neighborhood that hosts a popular Mardi Gras celebration in February and an Oktoberfest party in October. The Soulard Farmers Market also draws crowds year-round, so there's plenty to see and do after your brewery tour if you're visiting at those times.

Popular Soulard Restaurants

If you're hungry before or after your tour, Soulard has some great restaurants that are worth a try. Barbecue lovers should stop in at Bogarts Smokehouse for its fantastic brisket, pulled pork, and ribs. McGurk's Irish Pub has been a popular destination for decades with its upscale pub grub, cold Guinness, and authentic Irish music. Another good bet is Molly's where you'll find drink specials, a wide variety of bistro fare, and live music.

Clydesdale vip tour.

Awesome experience. Seeing the horses up close was amazing! Touring the stables really feels like you’re stepping back in time.

Fun experience

We did the Clydesdale tour with kids. It was cool to learn about horses, but the adults loved the beer garden after the tour!

“largest and oldest brewery site”

Nestled in the historic Soulard neighborhood of St. Louis, our largest and oldest brewery site was selected based on its access to the Mississippi River, the large presence of German immigrants in the 1800’s, and the natural cave formations that were used to store beer prior to artificial refrigeration. Regardless of the experience you choose, as you walk through the halls of the historic St. Louis brewery, you are transported in time. You will realize the vision that became one of the largest and oldest breweries in the nation. From the history-rich architecture - including three National Historic Landmarks - to cutting-edge brewing technology, you will witness first-hand the heritage and timeless tradition Anheuser-Busch employs to brew beer.

A let down, especially after doing the Jim Beam tour the day before. The guides were not enthusiastic, (almost rude) and there was not much to see. The positive: we got a good free beer! I guess I expected more from AB.

Budweiser Brewery Tour.

The tour is informative and a nice way to learn the history of Budweiser. They also offer a VIP tour of the Clydesdales; I plan on taking it next time I am in town. The Results Tour does take you in the barn though, to see a few of the beautiful Clydesdale horses.

Holiday lights at the brewery.

Take a free tour of the 1800s restored brewery, see the world famous Clydesdale Horses (if they are there), sample the beer, and grab a bite to eat or some beer swag. During the Christmas season they have lights, and there is a free event which is kind of like an old time Christmas, with all sorts of things for kids and adults to do.

Bud Brewery.

Besides being a free tour with no reservations, you also get two free drinks . The tour itself is filled with the history of St. Louis. The brewery recently expanded and they now have opened a large beirgarten. The perfect place to hang out after the tour, unwind and grab some grub. If you are a beer fanatic you can spend an extra 10 dollars and go on the master brewer's tour, where one of the three brew masters will take you on an in-depth guided tour with a special beer tasting.

Budweiser tour.

I was surprised it is a free tour! Good information and to top it off, at the end of the tour, you get two free beers!

Budweiser brewery gates.

Tours include the historic Brew House, Budweiser Clydesdale stable, beechwood lagering cellar, packaging plant, hospitality room were you get 1 free sample ( have to be 21 to get samples of beer, pop and pretzels as well) and Anheuser-Busch gift shop. Open daily.

Travelers coming to St. Louis can enjoy a free tour of the brewery (and free beer) every day of the week by stopping into the Anheuser-Busch Visitors Center. (Update: there are no longer free tours offered – which is really disappointing. The basic tour now costs $15.00) There are additional in-depth tours and experiences available if you’re a true beer fanatic. For most guests, the basic free tour is a perfect way to learn about the brewery and its historic ties to St. Louis. The basic tour also includes a stop in the beautiful historic stables where you’ll have the chance to see the Budweiser Clydesdales up-close. The stable was built in 1885 and includes beautiful stained glass and perfectly polished carriages inside. You’ll also have the chance to have your photo taken and pet the beautiful horses.

What you don’t always get to see is how pampered the horses are and how they are incredibly cared for. Back behind the historic brewery stables is a separate facility where horses are bathed, brushed, and even vacuumed to make sure they are looking photogenic at all times. Even the hitches that transport the horses across the country are first rate accommodations compared to how most horses are moved from one site to another.

see the clydesdales

In addition to the brewery downtown, you can also see the horses at another St. Louis attraction: Grants Farm. This beloved St. Louis institution has been giving residents and visitors free admission for decades – and includes a petting zoo, tram tour, special events, and of course – beer. The Clydesdales can also be found in stables across the street and roaming through the open fields next door.

Two hours west of St. Louis is Warm Springs Ranch which is the breeding facility of the Budweiser Clydesdales. Tours here are made in advance and give you the opportunity to learn about the horses and how they are raised. You’ll be stunned to see how big even the youngest Clydesdales can be. This is where some of the notable Super Bowl commercials featuring the Clydesdales have been filmed.

  • All of the Budweiser Clydesdales are male, with specific requirements like a height of six feet and all white legs.
  • They can eat about 55 pounds of hay and drink as much as 30 gallons of water – each day!
  • They are often called “gentle giants” for their laid back, easy going personality – despite their massive size.

Budweiser releases new Cardinals-themed cans ahead of 2024 season

ST. LOUIS – Budweiser has launched a limited-edition set of St. Louis Cardinals-themed cans ahead of the upcoming season.

The cans feature the Cardinals’ birds on the bat logo and a silhouetee of Busch Stadium’s backdrop. The cans also read “Brewed For “The Lou.””

A spokesperson tells FOX 2 the cans could be available just about anywhere Budweiser cans are sold in the St. Louis area.

In addition to the Cardinals cans, Budweiser has partnered with outfielder Lars Nootbaar with plans to produce unique social content and schedule appearances. Budweiser shared one photo Monday of Nootbaar holding the new can in a Budweiser hat.

Budweiser is getting involved with Major League Baseball beyond the Cardinals this year too. The company launched similar-themed cans for 15 other MLB teams on Monday morning.

Budweiser will also give away up to $50 in MLB merchandise for each home run hit this season. Fans should keep an eye on their social media platforms for more opportunities.

For the latest news, weather, sports, and streaming video, head to FOX 2.

Ratings & Reviews

Choosing the Outdoor Biergarten for our venue was hands-down the best wedding decision we made. Our day-of coordinators Heather and Jerrica were knowledgeable, friendly, and receptive to our every need. Best of all, their services were included! The venue itself is so beautiful and iconic and it blew our guests away. Between tours of the brewery during cocktail hour, the awesome selection of beer and setzers, and the atmosphere and history embedded in the location, our guests could not stop complimenting us on how much fun they had. We did a buffet and multiple guests came up to us during the night to tell us how amazing the food was as well. Bonuses like cornhole, a fire pit, and photo ops with the Clydesdales make this venue one-of-a-kind. Lastly, we can't emphasize enough how smoothly everything ran, thanks to Heather and Jerrica's detailed planning. We didn't have to worry about a thing on the big day and got to put all our focus on fun

I cannot say enough about the Anheuser-Busch Biergarten as a wedding venue. Their coordinator, Heather, makes the whole process seamless, and she is organized, helpful and lots of fun to work with!! The food was outstanding, the staff was professional and went above and beyond the night of the reception. It was a magical night in every way. If you are looking for a unique, "St. Louis style" wedding venue, the Biergarten is your place!! We wouldn't change a single thing!!

Wow, talk about worth the wait! I worked with Heather for over a year and half until the big day and flexibility/communication was astounding from start to finish. She answered any and all questions I had, and gave myself and my fiancé the peace of mind that every concern we had for the wedding day, and how everything would be handled and looked after. From the decorations, to using our provided items for the day, to the FOOD and of course amazing beer choices, I cannot thank AB, the entire crew, servers and Heather enough!! People are still talking about how amazing the venue was, AND the included beer tours as well for guests! I cared more for the reception than anything for this day, because I love to throw parties for my friends and family, and this place did not disappoint! Highly, highly recommend them and of course the location in general (the brewery) which is all fantastic

We are very happy with our decision in choosing the outdoor Biergarten for our wedding ceremony and reception with 200+ guests! It was the perfect venue for us and we have gotten SO many compliments from guests that attended! The guests loved the brewery tour and Clydesdale visit between the ceremony and the reception! It was a unique experience unlike any other wedding. The food was amazing! Many guests told us it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had, especially those mashed potatoes! All dietary restrictions were accommodated, which as a vegetarian bride, was greatly appreciated! We also enjoyed the drink selection, including the countless beers on tap! The venue itself is absolutely beautiful! We could not have asked for a better ceremony space. The fountain behind us was the perfect spot for flowers, making for gorgeous photos. We got all of our wedding photos taken in different spots around AB and with the Clydesdale! There was no need to go anywhere else. They also allowed our dog to be in our wedding, which was something that was very important to us! One of the best parts of choosing this venue is that you get to work with their coordinator, Heather! She is knowledgeable, quick to reply, and is very detail-oriented. She made sure everything turned out exactly as we wanted it! She was there with us all day making sure everything went smoothly. Her being there helped to calm this nervous bride, which is no easy feat! She took care of everything that was thrown her way and we cannot thank her enough!! I could go on forever! Look no further! This is the perfect venue that will forever hold a special place in our hearts! We can’t wait to come back and celebrate with some beer in the future

It was AMAZING to have a wedding reception at the Biergarten. Heather attended to every single detail as the “go to” person for us and for all of our vendors. The food was SPECTACULAR, service was top notch……. I could go on and on about this venue and what a perfect site this was for us

Heather and the staff at the Biergarten were the ABSOLUTE BEST. They were very flexible and respond promptly while planning. The service at the reception was amazing. They were professional and prompt. We had the best day/night ever! I would recommend the Biergarten 100 percent!!
