International K-Pop sensation TWICE announces the Philippine stop of their massive global concert TWICE 5TH WORLD TOUR ‘READY TO BE’ . The worldwide run will come to the Philippines on September 30, 2023, and October 1, 2023, at the largest indoor arena, the Philippine Arena.

The READY TO BE IN BULACAN promises to bring their signature high-energy performance and a robust setlist of their chart-topping hits. TWICE’s 12th mini album, READY TO BE is out now.

Tickets to the concert will go on sale starting June 15, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. through the LNPH Presale. Meanwhile, general ticket selling will begin on June 16, 2023, at 12 noon.

Save the date— Korean all-girl pop group TWICE is set to return to the Philippines for a one-night show on September 30, 2023. The performance is scheduled to happen at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan. The Philippine show is part of the TWICE Ready to Be world tour.

The announcement was made by event promoter Live Nation Philippines. Ticket pre-sale opens on June 15, 2023 at 10 am on the Live Nation Philippines website , while general ticket sale opens on June 16, 12 pm.

CONCERT ROUND-UP: TWICE REUNITES WITH FILIPINO ONCEs IN SOLD-OUT SHOWS

After their successful debut on the Philippine stage in 2019, South Korean girl group TWICE finally reunited with Filipino ONCEs during their sold-out shows at the Philippine Arena. For two nights, from Sept. 30 to Oct. 1, fans trooped to the arena for the Bulacan stop of TWICE’s 5th World Tour “Ready To Be,” ecstatic to experience a spectacular show that only TWICE is capable of.

ONCEs cheered and went wild at the sight of the members’ silhouettes during their grand entrance. They performed their first song “Set Me Free,” followed by “I Can’t Stop Me,” “Go Hard,” “More & More,” “Moonlight Sunrise,” and “Brave.”

Jihyo, Jeongyeon, and Nayeon then asked Filipino ONCEs what their favorite songs are and interacted with them. The next part of the show was the solo stages of some members, and it was all about showcasing the various talents of each member. Dahyun gracefully played the piano and covered Colbie Caillat’s “Try.” Tzuyu took the stage and wowed with her singing and dancing skills as she performed “Done for Me” by Charlie Puth. Sana was met with loud cheers when she covered “New Rules” by Dua Lipa. Momo’s pole dancing and dance skills were put on spotlight when she performed Beyoncé’s “Move.” The crowd’s energy never faltered as Mina, also highlighting her exceptional dance moves, covered “7 Rings” by Ariana Grande.

TWICE dazzled their fans as they also performed “Feel Special,” “Cry for Me,” “Fancy,” and the Feels.” The solo stages continued, and Jihyo was up first as she impressed the crowd with her solo song “Killin’ Me Good.” Jeongyeon kept the energy high as she performed a cover of Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop the Feeling.” Nayeon capped off the solo stages with her signature song “POP!,” enchanting the crowd with her charm. Filipino ONCEs danced the night away as the group continued with a medley of some of their hits “Yes or Yes,” “What is Love?,” “Cheer Up,” “Likey,” “Knock Knock,” “Scientist,” and “Heartshaker.”

Also known for their exciting fan service, TWICE also had something special for their ONCEs. The interaction didn’t just end with dance cams, a roulette wheel was brought out on stage to pick the last two songs of the night: “BDZ” and “HOT.” A couple even got engaged after the performance of “HOT.”

It was indeed a magical and an unforgettable concert, especially when Sana said, “We’ve been to different cities during our tour, but I think this city is the best.” As part of a fan project, Filipino ONCEs also got to thank the group for coming back.

TWICE showed their Filipino fans the formula of love and that it’s always gonna be TWICE + ONCEs. With their powerful performances, effortless vocals, and overflowing charisma, it’s not a surprise that the K-pop sensation had been one of the most highly anticipated and sought-after acts to visit the country this year.

Second concert in the Philippines

Twice is the best girl group out there.

I went to many concerts, and all of those were great, but never like Twice’s.

They have something different. They don’t just walk around and yell to “”hype”” the crowd, they dance and sing like there’s no tomorrow and they never lack in anything. Everyonce was extremely nice and sweet and we all gave ourselves the space we needed. Everything was well organized and the girls looked really happy.

That’s the kind of concert everyone should attend.

TWICE add more dates to 2023 READY TO BE tour – concerts in Singapore, Bulacan, Bangkok, London, Berlin, Paris confirmed

TWICE have added more dates to their world tour .

For Part 2 of their READY TO BE tour, the 'SET ME FREE' act will be making their way to parts of Southeast Asia this September, with stops in Singapore, the Philippines, and Thailand. TWICE have also added concert dates for Europe, with confirmed shows in London, Paris, and Berlin.

The top-selling JYP Entertainment girl group kicked off their tour earlier this month, taking over KSPO Dome in Seoul.

Twice on Tour

Lest you think that all K-pop acts are boy bands, rest assured: They are not. Though the nine-member Twice have only been on the scene since 2016, these ladies have carved out a massive (largely male) fan base for themselves. You won't hear any customary ear-piercing screams at their shows; as one reviewer remarked, you could be forgiven for thinking you're hearing a World Cup crowd. But this is bubblegum pop of the highest order, and it shows in Twice's concerts. The singers might descend wearing brilliant white gowns, perched on swings, framed by fairy lights and rainbows while their frothy pop ballads swell around the whimsical sets. Major tours include the Twice 1st Tour: Twiceland – The Opening in 2017, the Twice 2nd Tour: Twiceland Zone 2 – Fantasy Park in 2018 and the Twice World Tour 2019 "Twicelights." In 2018, they also initiated their first tour in Japan, the Twice Showcase Live Tour 2018 "Candy Pop," followed by the Japan-based #Dreamday tour in 2019. 

Twice Background

Twice took off in 2016 with "Cheer Up," a song that unquestionably delivered on its title. It soared to No. 1 on the Gaon chart and won Song of the Year at both the Melon and Mnet Asian music awards shows. The group got their start back in 2015 on the competition TV show Sixteen, run by JYP Entertainment. By the end of that show, seven members had made the cut, and soon after fan favorite Tzuyu and noted performer Momo joined the fold. Like most K-pop acts, the group have released a slew of EPs — beginning with The Story Begins in 2015 — that have kept fans engaged, as well as two full-length albums, 2017's Twicetagram and 2018's BDZ. Their third EP, Twicecoaster: Lane 1, became the year's best-selling album by a Korean girl group in 2016. The band's strong sales have reminded the K-pop industry that girl groups can sell huge numbers of albums, and their video streams reach into the tens of millions on a single video. When they're not singing, the women of Twice have pulled down major endorsements and a slew of awards.

One of the best concerts i've been to.

I got to see them in Houston June 2023, my seat was amazing and so close. The show was incredible, they're great performers and you can tell they love their job!

Twice concert Las Vegas allegiant stadium

The twice concert in the allegiant stadium was amazing! Our seats were closer than we thought, we got to fully see the screen, and it was so much fun! There was only one little problem about the twice concert, and it was the boys behind us. It was a bunch of boys behind us and they were so annoying. They were acting inappropriate during the solos, and they were making fun of one of the members who was wearing a jersey that was a raiders jersey. But everything else about the concert was so much fun! I will definitely come back to the twice concert if there was another one. 10/10

The Best Experience

If you haven't seen Twice perform, do it the next chance you get!!! I brought someone that has only listened to "Fancy"and they became a stan afterwards. Concert for this encore was a little shorter than during the beginning of the tour which is completely understandable, especially since they added VCHA as an opener and I'm sure all of girls are tired from traveling so much, but they still gave an unforgettable performance that'll leave you laughing, cheering, and crying. #OneInAMillion 11/10

I love twice but the concert in Las Vegas was a letdown

I will probably never attend another concert in Allegiant Stadium that is not heavy metal or general admission. To be honest it's a pain to even enter the stadium and find your correct section and seat. The stage is too high for the audience in the floor and too big of a gap between the seats and the stage. They did not have a big enough screen behind the stage for those who are far away. The Acoustics are not great. No mass transit per se. You could tell twice we're not as excited to play so soon after their previous concert in such a large venue

Ready to Relive This Night!

This takes the cake as my favorite k-pop concert experience! This was my first time at a Twice concert and the energy in the room was absolutely contagious. The crowd was cheering and singing and dancing along to every song, and I felt like each of the Twice members returned that same energy back to the audience too. Not only were the dances impeccably rehearsed, the production value was also exceptional. The lighting, the set design, the outfits and each of the solo stages - they really went all out here! I really felt like the concert went by in a flash, even though it was three hours long, and everyone was definitely still cheering for more. What an amazing night to remember. I can't wait for their next tour!

Ready To Be: The Concert Of A Lifetime

Hello! I became a ONCE at the end of 2020 after discovering I CAN'T STOP ME. It took me about a month to listen to their music and fall in love. I made a last minute effort to catch them during their "III"tour, I knew I had give it my all to get a real experience out of seeing one of my favorite music artists of all time. While I argue "III"had a stronger setlist and incredible production value, "READY TO BE"has all the energy in the room that "III"teased. People were still meek and reserved on the heels of the pandemic, and I wish it had been a night where everyone jumped and danced along, getting their life from the girls. "READY TO BE"was that. The entire night was magnetic, full of excitement and passion. We knew all the songs, we knew all the choreography. We loved the girls, it was perfect. I've seen quite a few musical acts in my life like...Christina Aguilera, Ludacris, Shakira, etc. This was like no other. TWICE put on the best show I've seen in my whole life. "READY TO BE"is something to be experienced, and I'm so glad I got to live it three times, Arlington, East Rutherford, and Las Vegas. It was incredible to witness such a perfected show from these nine girls. TWICE are meant to be performers, TWICE are meant for music. Them and their music saved my life, and it was everything I wanted and more. <3 I cannot wait for their next tour, I'm sure they'll continue to impress.

We had a girls night out. Twice definitely made it so much fun and enjoyable because of their kind and enthusiasm personality. Definitely would go back to party with them at their next concert in the future. Love you Twice! 🩷

Amazing, fantastic the group was everything and more than I hoped the only complain I have is the people in front of me were so rude and could barely let me see they were really tall but the concert overall was incredible and entertaining I went with my little sister and she loved it too her first concert ever I think she became a ONCE she came homesinging the songs

twice in las vegas was such a memorable experience for me i was so happy to see all the members in concert the girls were so hyped up and the outfits were outstanding i was so happy they played one spark and look at me. but i was sad they didn’t play more & more but it did t matter because all the twice songs are good. and i hope i get to see them again in the future💗

Ticket prices range from P499 for the General Admission section, P1,499 for the Upper Box section, P3,499 for the Lower Box Regular section, P4,950 for the Lower Box Premium section, and P9,950 for the VIP section. 

Tickets are now available for purchase via the SM Ticket website .

As of writing, MUPH has yet to announce if the coronation night will also be live streamed online. 

The organization has yet to disclose the hosts, judges, and other performers for the pageant finals. 

Over 50 candidates are competing to succeed Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee , who finished in the Top 10 of the latest international edition.

The 2024 competition is looking to be an interesting edition as it marks several firsts in the pageant’s history: Delegates for this year were chosen through the Accredited Partners Program , the roster also includes candidates representing overseas Filipino communities, and there are no age restrictions for the candidates. – Rappler.com
