Colleen Ballinger's Remaining Miranda Sings Tour Dates Canceled Amid Controversy

Colleen ballinger's remaining tour dates as miranda sings have been canceled amid the growing controversy surrounding the youtuber..

Amid growing controversy, the remaining live shows on Colleen Ballinger 's Miranda Sings tour have been canceled .

When purchasing on Ticketmaster , shows in Boise, Minneapolis, Ann Arbor, Kansas City, and Philadelphia now note, "Unfortunately, the Event Organizer has had to cancel your event."

An additional five shows in Salt Lake City, St. Louis, Omaha, Wichita and Midwest City—which allowed for tickets to be purchased directly on the venues' websites rather than just Ticketmaster—have either been removed completely or are shown as canceled "due to unforeseen circumstances."

E! News has reached out to Colleen's team for comment but has yet to hear back.

These cancelations come in the wake of allegations made against the YouTuber , who first created her satirical Miranda Sings character in 2008. The 36-year-old was first accused of grooming and forming inappropriate relationships with underage fans in 2020 and then again this past June, the latter claims Colleen responded to  with a 10-minute song posted to YouTube during which she denied any grooming claims.

Since then, she has also been accused of sharing Trisha Paytas ' NSFW pictures with minors , which Trisha said Colleen denied when the two spoke privately, and most recently, performing in blackface. Colleen's team has since clarified she was wearing green face paint while performing as Elphaba from  Wicked during one of her shows.

And now the content creator's Oversharing podcast with Trisha, which launched in May, has also been canceled after just three episodes .

"This is all very embarrassing," Trisha said in a July 9 YouTube video . "It's very embarrassing at the end of the day, I don't get embarrassed by many things, like obviously. The podcast ending after three episodes is embarrassing."

"When I say I've never wanted a chapter in my life to be over faster than this," she continued, "Even though it was a very small chapter, I mean it."

When Colleen Ballinger  created the character Miranda Sings as a way to poke fun at teens hoping to be discovered on the Internet, the theater-obsessed, annoying AF alter ego actually turned her into a YouTube sensation.

Soon, the vocal performance major had amassed 10.7 million subscribers and landed a Netflix original series titled H aters Back Off .

The persona was meant to be a joke between the classically trained singer and her friends, with Ballinger admitting she never thought the videos would take off.

"I had begun by posting some videos of my own performances, and then I started seeing these links from girls who would sit in their bedroom and sing into the camera," Ballinger explained to Broadway World in 2010 of Miranda Sings' origin. "I thought it was so stupid, because I didn't think anybody got famous off of YouTube."

Ballinger, now 36, and fellow YouTuber Joshua David Evans , now 39, begin dating after he watched one of her Miranda Sings clips and pursued her. "He saw one of my videos, and he thought, 'There's got to be more to this,'" Ballinger told ABC News in 2015. "So he found videos of myself with my sister on my Facebook page.'" Evans proposed in 2014, with their engagement video garnering 2.4 million views. "There's just a lot of eyes," Evans acknowledged to ABC News. There's a lot of people who are interested in different parts of your life."

A year after their 2014 vows, Ballinger and Evans announced they were getting a divorce, each posting a video to their individual YouTube accounts to address their breakup.

"You've watched us date, you've watched us get engaged, you've watched us get married," Ballinger said in her message. "We've shown you everything because we wanted to, and I don't regret any of that, but, you know, we chose to not share with you the hard parts of our relationship. And there were a lot of hard parts of our relationship."

In his own video, Evans stated, "I want it to be known that I am not choosing this divorce. I don't want this divorce. I want her, but I truly believe she thinks she is making the right decision right now."

Ballinger revealed in a YouTube video recap of her year that she secretly married Erik Stocklin , the actor cast as Miranda's love interest in her Haters Back Off TV series.

The couple welcomed their first child, Flynn Timothy Stocklin , that month, and twins Wesley Koy Stocklin and Maisy Joanne Stocklin followed in November 2021. In a YouTube video, the influencer explained that the babies were born more than a month earlier than expected and that she had to have an emergency C-section.

"I'm okay. The babies are both okay," she shared. "They're very little and they're gonna be living in the NICU for a while probably."

Irish Content creator Adam McIntyre —who first began running a fan account for Miranda Sings in 2013 when he was just 10 years old—posted a video called "colleen ballinger, stop lying" in which he accused Ballinger of putting him in uncomfortable situations when he was a minor. Insisting that Ballinger had begun bad-mouthing him after a series of tweets he'd posted to her Miranda Sings Twitter account received backlash, McIntyre specifically called out an instance in which she sent him lingerie during a livestream.

Ballinger recorded an apology vlog in response to McIntyre's video, acknowledging, among other things, that the underwear incident was "completely stupid" and admitting, "I should never have sent that."

She had been unboxing items that had been sent to her, she explained, and she and her friend were making fun of the underwear and McIntyre asked for it to be sent to him, which she did as a joke. "I don't know what part of my brain was missing at the time that I thought, 'Oh, this is a normal, silly thing to do,'" she continued. "But I am not a monster."

Ballinger continued making content both for her Miranda Sings channel and as a family vlogger.

In a since-deleted video titled "why I left the colleen ballinger fandom…", YouTuber KodeeRants shared screenshots of an alleged text exchange between Colleen and her followers, accusing the comedian of forming inappropriate and exploitative relationships with underage fans.

Per NBC News, the unverified group text was named "Colleeny's Weenies," with the performer allegedly asking her fans their "favorite position" during one conversation.

KodeeRants has since deleted their YouTube and Twitter accounts and NBC News was unable to verify the screenshots.

On June 7, McIntyre responded with a series of videos on his own YouTube channel, recalling a time the then-31-year-old planned to spend the day with him in Dublin ahead of a June 8, 2018 show. He said they only ended up meeting for five minutes. He also claimed Ballinger grooms her fans emotionally. Ballinger has yet to directly respond to his claims.

Despite sharing that her team advised her to not publicly comment on the allegations of grooming and forming inappropriate relationships with underage fans, Ballinger broke her silence in a musical vlog.

While playing the ukulele and singing, Ballinger compared the accusations to a "toxic gossip train" headed for "manipulation station" while the rest of the internet "tie me to the tracks and harass me for my past." As she put it, "the only thing I've ever groomed is my two Persian cats. I'm not a groomer. I'm just a loser who didn't understand I shouldn't respond to fans."

Explaining through song, she said that she was attempting "to be besties with everybody" by sending messages to fans earlier in her career. Though she added there were "times in the DMs when I would overshare details of my life—which was really weird of me—and I haven't done that in years because I changed my behavior and took accountability."

McIntyre, now 22, took to Twitter shortly after Ballinger posted her video to react to the grooming allegations and her musical response.

"im glad her video did ONE thing," he tweeted June 28," show you all EXACTLY the type of evil woman she is, that a lot of us have experienced over the past few years behind the scenes, the mask has slipped…everyone meet the REAL colleen ballinger."

After Colleen issued her statement via song, her ex-husband Evans shared his thoughts on the controversy.

"This behavior was my reality anytime I spoke up & disagreed with her actions & rhetoric during 2009-2016," the actor tweeted on June 28. "I was gaslit too. I was made to feel like I was always the problem. Any pain I felt was an inconvenience and was belittled."

The former YouTuber, who split from Ballinger after just over a year of marriage, then posted a follow-up, clarifying his intention for speaking out.

"I have no desire to use this as a catalyst for a YouTube comeback," Evans wrote. "It's not a safe place for me. I'm past that. My voice is only here to help validate those that are hurting, nothing more. I have no need to make any money off of this. That is gross & not in my heart, whatsoever."

Trisha Paytas , a fellow YouTube star who co-hosts the Oversharing podcast with Ballinger, was pulled into the controversy after one of Ballinger's former fans alleged that she had sent NSFW photos and videos from Paytas' OnlyFans account to him

Johnny Silvestri posted several unverified screenshots to his Twitter on July 3 of a few of the interactions between him and Ballinger, going on to claim that she would host "viewing parties" to make fun of Paytas.

In a July 3 video, Paytas responded to Ballinger's alleged behavior, saying she does "not condone, at all—sending unsolicited nudes to anybody, sex worker or not."

"I think using someone's nudes as a way to hurt them, make fun of them, make light of them, be mean, is the lowest form of human," Paytas continued. "These weren't a long time ago. This is someone well into their 30s who just gave birth, sending nudes. And a month prior, I was in [Ballinger's] house, meeting her newborn and doing a Mukbang with her."

Paytas then explained she reached out to Ballinger over the photo allegations, but that she denied them.

"I did ask her about these a couple of weeks ago," Paytas claimed. "She assured me that she had never sent photos of me, [and] that this one fan who was underage at the time would send photos to her."

Paytas concluded her video by saying, "I will never speak on Colleen again. She just does not exist to me anymore." Ballinger has not publicly responded to Paytas' video.

After YouTuber Paige Christie posted a clip of Ballinger performing Beyoncé 's "Single Ladies" as Miranda Sings with dark paint smeared on her face, Ballinger's team responded.

According to law firm Berk Brettler, Ballinger had actually painted her face green to look like Wicked 's Elphaba while performing tracks from the hit musical.

"She painted her face green like the witch," the law firm said in a statement to NBC News . "After that number, she went right into 'Single Ladies' (while still wearing the green makeup). At that time, she closed all her shows with that Beyoncé number—it was one of her most popular bits."

This was not the first time Ballinger faced accusations of racist behavior. In the same 2020 video she used to address McIntyre's claims, the content creator apologized for employing "racial stereotypes" in a decade-old video in which she and her sister pretended to be Latinx women.

"It is not funny, and it is completely hurtful," Ballinger said at the time. "I am so ashamed and embarrassed that I ever thought this was okay."

It's the best show ever!!!! It was hilarious and promoted kindness! Miranda also known as Colleen, is extremely talented and big-hearted! She is an incredible singer, comedian and she can dance too! She poured her heart out to all of her fans and during her VIP meet and greet she gave so much of herself to everyone she met! My nine-year-old daughter says she is the kindest person she has ever met!!!! I would go back to her show 1 million times... she had us all laughing so hard! As a mother, Miranda is a great role model and she made my daughter's world go round when she (Miranda) complimented my daughter on her beautiful eyes! Thank you is just not enough... and words can not explain how much respect and admiration I have for Colleen B.! She is simply awesome... #mirandasingsphoenix #mirandasings

Last night, was one to remember! For our daughter's 12th birthday, we had got for her a meet and greet experience with Miranda!! She dressed the part, and was so excited, she was actually shaking!! :-)

Colleen/Miranda was truly a delight to meet! Having this experience validated that she is a real person, who is so kind!

As my daughter was having her photo taken, I stepped in to just say how I appreciated that she portrays such a confident in her self kind of girl/woman... Within our world, there are so many "haters" ~ she validates and give strength and joy to all who watched~

"Back off Haters!"

We are thrilled that she and family will be filming in Vancouver!! We hope to hear more about the Netflix series...and can't wait to watch!!

Remainder Of Colleen Ballinger's Tour Canceled Amid 'Grooming' Allegations

Associate Reporter

is miranda sings still on tour

Colleen Ballinger, who is better known for her YouTube character Miranda Sings, has had the rest of her shows in her 2023 tour canceled.

Ballinger was set to appear in her comedy show, where she performs as both herself and her character, on Thursday in Boise, Idaho. Links to that event and the rest of the remaining shows on her website now go to Ticketmaster pages noting that the events are canceled.

The cancellations follow former fans telling HuffPost that they had inappropriate relationships with the 36-year-old YouTuber when some of them were teens. The former fans said that Ballinger would confide in them about her relationship problems and make sexual jokes.

Adam McIntyre, one former fan, said on his YouTube channel that Ballinger “grooms” her fans. ( In a YouTube video in which Ballinger sang the entire time, she denied “grooming.” “I’m not a groomer, I’m just a loser who didn’t understand I shouldn’t respond to fans, and I’m not a predator even though a lot of y’all think so,” she sang.)

Former fans, including one who was a minor at the time, also said that Ballinger sent them nude photos of fellow YouTuber Trisha Paytas . Paytas, a former friend and podcast co-host of Ballinger’s whose nude photos were behind a paywall on OnlyFans, said in a YouTube video that she did not “condone” Ballinger sending others her photos.

“I think it’s the most disgusting thing,” Paytas said. “And above all else, illegal.”

Fans had been pointing out the absurdity of Ballinger selling merch that had “CANCELLED” written on it when her tour was still ongoing.

Her attorney did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

YouTuber Colleen Ballinger has cancelled all of her remaining dates of her MirandaSings Tour in the wake of allegations of 'grooming' fans and 'racist' behavior. Her podcast she was co-hosting with YouTube personality Trisha Paytas has also been called off.

The comedian famous for her eccentric and playful persona as Miranda Sings, known for her signature overlined red lipstick and striped shirts, has recently faced allegations of 'grooming' fans, inappropriate behavior on her Netflix show Haters Back Off, and accusations of racist behavior.

Ballinger denies the racist behaviour and dismisses the allegations of grooming as being part of a "toxic gossip train". She has not given a reason for cancelling her tour and podcast or commented on her reason for her hiatus.

The YouTube star, with more than 20 million subscribers, was in the middle of her live tour when the allegations came to light and has cancelled the remaining shows. It has been confirmed that fans will be refunded for their tickets, but there has been no announcement that the performances will be rescheduled.

This month videos of Ballinger have resurfaced, showing her in her Miranda Sings character making sexual comments to fans. People began sharing their stories after Adam McIntyre, first posted a two hour long video detailing his alleged relationship with Ballinger. McIntyre claimed the YouTuber 'groomed' him and a group of teenagers in the 2010s, when she was in her thirties, providing screenshots of texts that he claims she sent or was involved in.

Ballinger broke her silence posting a 10-minute long video singing and playing the ukulele explaining her side of the story. In the video, she also describes the allegations as a "toxic gossip train" that has been fueled with hateful accusations. She admits to the messages but claims that she was not doing it "in a creepy way" but just a "loser" trying to be cool and make "besties." She added that she felt like she was the "weird aunt" of her fanbase but reflects that she should've created better boundaries.

Ballinger also recently started a podcast named Oversharing with Paytas on May 23, but it has since been cancelled. Paytas announced that the podcast ended after only three episodes, a decision she made after seeing screenshots from Ballinger's 'grooming' allegations.

Paytas posted a video July 9 sharing her reaction to the podcast ending. In the video, Paytas said: "This is all very embarrassing. It's very embarrassing at the end of the day, I don't get embarrassed by many things, like obviously. The podcast ending after three episodes is embarrassing."

In addition to 'grooming' allegations, the Internet personality has also faced accusations of 'racist' behavior, including saying the N-word and dancing in what appeared to be blackface.

In her two season long Netflix show Haters Back Off in 2016, a show based on Miranda Sings telling her story, a former employee claimed that Ballinger used the N-word on set and wrote stories filled with offensive content. In the article , the ex-employee April Korto Quioh wrote she was: "tasked to aid Colleen as she pursued her singular goal of shoving as much incestual innuendo into the show as possible."

After the racist accusations, a clip of Ballinger dancing posted in 2018 also resurfaced. In the video, the YouTuber was seen in what appeared to be blackface dancing to Beyoncé's song Single Ladies. But the comedian later came out in a statement saying she was not in blackface, and that her face was painted green because she was performing as the witch Elphaba from Wicked.

Ballinger has not personally made a statement about her tour being called off or the cancellation of her new podcast.

Colleen Ballinger

Colleen Ballinger Miranda Sings Photo

Who Is Colleen Ballinger?

Colleen Ballinger uses smeared red lipstick, an altered voice and incredibly inept singing to create the egotistical and boundlessly confident character of Miranda Sings on YouTube. Since first appearing on the site in 2008, Ballinger's collection of videos has received more than a billion views and earned millions of subscribers. With Miranda, Ballinger also became a best-selling author, toured the globe, appeared on Netflix and received a Teen Choice Award in 2015. Throughout this success, Ballinger has continued to make YouTube videos as herself and as Miranda.

Early Life and Education

Colleen Mae Ballinger was born on November 21, 1986, in Santa Barbara, California. Ballinger grew up in Santa Barbara. For the 6th, 7th and 8th grades, she was homeschooled (Miranda is also homeschooled). Ballinger attended San Marcos High School before going on to Azusa Pacific University, which is a Christian college near Los Angeles.

Ballinger is very close to her family. Her parents, Tim and Gwen Ballinger, had four children: Christopher, Trent, Colleen and Rachel. Rachel used to tour with Ballinger, and Chris has worked on multiple projects with her. Chris and Rachel are also YouTubers. Ballinger's brother Trent isn't as interested in social media, though he did appear on Ballinger's YouTube to discuss getting cochlear implants (he was born hard of hearing, and this hearing loss worsened as he grew older).

YouTube Stardom

Ballinger uploaded the first Miranda Sings video to YouTube in 2008. Inspiration for the character had come from fellow students at Azusa Pacific University, where Ballinger was a vocal performance major. She had classmates who were often rude as they waited for stardom to arrive. Some of these girls couldn't sing yet still uploaded videos to YouTube, so Ballinger decided to alter her voice and appearance in order to make her own videos as an inside joke for friends.

In Ballinger's videos, Miranda is an appalling performer and opinionated individual who believes her talent is destined to take over the world. The character's style features Crocs, fully buttoned shirts and lipstick that migrates far away from her lips. Ballinger has said that many of Miranda's traits developed in response to the comments on early videos, telling Elle in 2016, "I thought it was fascinating that someone who didn't know me would take the time to say hateful things about me. Whatever haters didn't like, I would do more of in the next video."

As Miranda's unflagging confidence and nonexistent talent were on display for the first year, Ballinger's regular life continued. She'd graduated in 2008 and had gigs that included a job at Disneyland, where she performed in High School Musical and Playhouse Disney. Then in 2009 a Miranda video called "free voice lesson" went viral. Ballinger soon became a successful YouTuber, part of a breed of performers whose fame — and earnings — come from YouTube.

Fans and Haters

Though Miranda has her detractors (some videos feature her reading mail from "haters"), she also has plenty of actual fans, who are known as "Mirfandas." Ballinger told The Verge in 2016, "I’ve received thousands of letters from kids who are a little different and a little weird, and they thank me for teaching them to be confident in who they are. That’s a great lesson Miranda teaches everyone."

Ballinger counts herself among Miranda's fans. In a 2014 interview, she declared, "I love Miranda. The only way I would leave her behind would be if my fans didn’t want to watch her anymore. Certainly, I enjoy working on other projects and ambitions, but I think the only way Miranda will ever die is if my fans force me to make her die."

A recording of four holiday classics called "Christmas With Miranda Sings" came out in 2009.

Tours and Live Performances

When Miranda first took off, Ballinger got the opportunity to perform in New York City and London. Her live shows did well and she's since toured across the United States, as well as in places like Ireland, Australia and New Zealand.

Ballinger has also been able to step on stage with Broadway stars like Lin-Manuel Miranda and Sutton Foster. In Ballinger's 2018 "No Offense" tour, she appeared as herself for half of the show, and as Miranda for the other half.

Selp-Helf (2015) is a collection of advice from Miranda that's co-written by Ballinger and her brother Chris. A Miranda diary — My Diarrhe — came out in 2018. Both books landed on the New York Times bestsellers list.

Ballinger and her brother Chris developed a television show to further explore Miranda and her background. The series — called Haters Back Off , a common Miranda phrase — was commissioned by Netflix, making Ballinger the first YouTuber with a scripted series. The eight episodes of the first season appeared on Netflix in October 2016; a second season followed in 2017. Netflix decided not to pick up the show for a third season.

Ballinger appeared on Netflix again in a Miranda Sings comedy special shot during her performance at the Kennedy Center's Eisenhower Theater in Washington, D.C., on September 15, 2018.

Other Appearances

In 2014 Ballinger appeared as an angry, ranting Miranda on Jerry Seinfeld 's Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee . She's also guest hosted The View and appeared on The Tonight Show .

In 2013 Ballinger was profiled on an episode MTV’s True Life . She later said, "I feel like an idiot for agreeing to it and thinking they would portray my life how it actually is."Ballinger was part of season 3 of the YouTube series Escape the Night in 2018.

Personal Life and Husband

Ballinger met fellow YouTuber Joshua Evans in 2009. After the two began dating, much of their relationship played out online, including a video they shared of their July 2015 wedding. When the couple decided to divorce a year later, Ballinger posted a video called "Life Update" to announce the decision to her fans. In it she explained that the couple's relationship had gone through difficulties and hurdles that hadn't been featured on-screen.

Erik Stocklin played friend and love interest Patrick on Haters Back Off . He and Ballinger were friends before their relationship shifted to a romantic one. They've also navigated social media differences, as Stocklin prefers more privacy.

In June 2018, Ballinger announced she was pregnant and that she and Stocklin were engaged. In July, a gender reveal video on her YouTube shared that they were expecting a boy. The pair married a few months later and welcomed their son in December 2018.

In May 2021, Ballinger announced she was pregnant with twins after suffering a miscarriage earlier in the year.

  • I think the most inspiring thing about Miranda is how confident she is, regardless of what anyone says to her.
  • Anyone can sing badly, but to sing badly on purpose and make it believable is harder. I listen for the actual melody in my head, but sing right underneath or above it out loud. It takes a lot of concentration.
  • I really tried to take advantage of my 15 minutes of fame. And I’ve gotten lucky — those 15 minutes have become several years.

is miranda sings still on tour

In the days following her sung-through non-apology video, 36-year-old YouTuber Colleen Ballinger has been silent on social media. Halfway through a Miranda Sings tour with 19 stops, she had performed in Denver, Indianapolis, and Chicago while accusations of grooming fans, talking inappropriately with minors on Twitter and Instagram, behaving inappropriately with fans during her tour shows, bullying, fatphobia , and racism multiplied online. As of July 11, however, the last 11 stops of her nationwide tour have been canceled. The tour was set to end on September 8 in Durham, North Carolina. Each venue has confirmed on their respective websites that the tour, which was promoted by is no longer taking place due to “unforeseen circumstances.”

Over the past month, Miranda Sings’s red lips and striped shirt have graced many a thumbnail in drama-channel YouTube videos. Oversharing , Ballinger’s podcast with Trisha Paytas, whom she allegedly shared nonconsensual nude photos of with fans, is also canceled, Paytas announced on July 3, 2023. Previously, in 2020, Ballinger was accused of inappropriate behavior and sending lingerie to a teenage fan, Adam McIntyre . Ballinger responded to the viral allegations in a ten-minute video titled “hi.” on June 28, 2023, in which she sang an original song denying that she’s groomed anyone (“other than her two Persian cats”) and declared “all aboard the toxic gossip train.” Her video has received over 11 million views.

Miranda Won’t Sing: Colleen Ballinger Cancels Her Live Tour

The YouTuber’s tour dates have quietly disappeared weeks after multiple ex-fans alleged that she and others in her circle had formed toxic relationships with them as teens.

Colleen Ballinger’s “Toxic Gossip Train” is still chugging along. Weeks after multiple fans came forward alleging that the YouTuber and others in her circle formed toxic, emotionally exploitative relationships with them as teens, NBC News reports that her upcoming live shows have been canceled.

Ballinger had been on tour as her alter-ego, Miranda Sings, since April, and had been scheduled to play about a dozen shows in the U.S. this summer, including dates in Minneapolis, Salt Lake City, and St. Louis. Now, most of her tour dates contain a “Cancelled” tag on Ticketmaster . The stops listed through partner sites also seem to link out to broken or “Cancelled” pages. Tour links on Ballinger’s website also come up canceled, broken, or with no dates listed.

At the same time, Ballinger’s recently released, not-so-apologetic apology song, “Toxic Gossip Train,” has popped up on streaming platforms including Apple Music and Tidal, leading some fans to speculate that the YouTuber is attempting to monetize the song. Ethan Klein, whose H3 Podcast recently ran an episode about Ballinger, has alleged on Twitter that she has uploaded the song to music distributor CD Baby and is “claiming” the show to profit from its use.

A source with knowledge of the situation told The Daily Beast that the song was uploaded to streaming platforms without Ballinger’s authorization.

Earlier this summer, multiple former Ballinger fans came forward alleging that she’d formed toxic relationships with them while they were teenagers. None of the former fans alleged that Ballinger solicited sex from them, but they did allege that she spoke with them for hours on end in group chats, in which she allegedly made inappropriate remarks and leaned on the teens for emotional support.

One former fan, 2o-year-old Adam McIntyre, first spoke out against Ballinger in 2020. He told The Daily Beast in a recent interview that at the time, “Absolutely no one wanted to hear me out. No one wanted to hear any take that wasn’t the popular one—which was her take.”

Ballinger posted a response video back then, in which she denied being a “groomer” or a “monster” but did admit she made the “silly, stupid mistake” of sending a 13-year-old McIntyre unused lingerie “as a joke” after a live-streamed giveaway.

This time around, Ballinger responded to fans’ allegations with a 10-minute song uploaded on June 28, accompanied by a ukulele performance . The YouTuber trilled about the “toxic gossip train” allegedly trying to run her over and insisted that she would not admit to “lies and rumors” that she claims were “made up for clout.” At one point in the song, she sings, “The only thing that I’ve ever groomed is my two Persian cats. I’m not a groomer, I’m just a loser.”

News of Ballinger’s tour cancellations has already swept Twitter. McIntyre’s response? A clip from Family Guy where Peter and Brian grab beers from the fridge while Peter’s daughter, Meg, weeps uncontrollably.

Ballinger’s tour isn’t the only project of hers to have fallen apart in the wake of this year’s controversy. Trisha Paytas, who launched the podcast Oversharing with Ballinger this year and recently addressed the allegations that Ballinger shared and ridiculed her adult content with fans , also confirmed Saturday that their collaboration is no more. In a YouTube video posted to her channel, Paytas said, “When I say I’ve never wanted a chapter in my life to be over faster than this, even though it was a really small, quick chapter, I mean it.”
