The spice plantation was a 15 min walk around a wild garden to get you to the shop. We only had 30 mins for lunch. Then a 2 hr drive back. We were told lunch was before spice walk but on arrival it was all rushed and told by staff we had to wait till later to eat. By this time it was 2.30 and had to be back at bus for 3pm. We had been out since 6am. Totally unacceptable. No consideration given to slow walkers. older people or anyone with a disability. Considering your site says up to 99yrs. The tour itself was good and building stunning, only let down at the end by the fact we couldn’t buy a bottle to take away with us ( UK prices cheaper). Felt like a real missed opportunity?! Experience as a whole let down by the taxi booked to chauffeur us…..he was late arriving and then had no idea where he was going so my husband had to use Google maps on his phone to direct him on the 50min journey. • mehta489 0 contributions 4.0 of 5 bubbles Amazing Amazing views. But to get there is a hassle. There are not any reviews on difficulty getting there. You need to book tickets and the time slots in advance and on line. However you when you reach at the base of the mountain. there is procedure to follow, which is to stand in so called cue at the jeep office (it is driver's union) to book a jeep (500rupees or £5) ,which carries 7 persons, so if you are less than 7 in your party, you have find rest or miss your turn, ) it took us nearly 3 hours in the queue just to make up numbers required. Once you have your token for the jeep, You need pay for the life jackets and it is compulsory (about 40 rupees or 40p). after that you get in the jeep and travel about kilometre, where there is a check post and you pay 100 rupees cash,to enter the park.after that it is 40 mins of very rough roads to get to the top. When get there you have roughly 90 mins to enjoy the views and you also swim at the base of the falls (life jackets is must ) be warned if you miss your jeep time , you will end up paying more money to get you down. It is not suitable for young children or severe disabilty, its very rocky and uneven .environment. Read more Written 14 January 2024

The jeep excursion was fun and the spice plantation was interesting but you are not guided by the tour operator at all. The taxi driver was nice enough but for $230NZD this is a rip off. No tour guide, just the driver and car. The driver was more keen on deciding drop off time since the start of the trip. Lol. We did not want to do extra paid activities so may be the driver was disinterested. Also the driver used his mobile in hand while driving which was a bit scary for my family. Anyway, I do not recommend this for a private city tour at all. Waste of money. Better cost effective options available. Read more Written 18 December 2023

We saw a handful of different butterflies and had the chance to see India’s largest butterfly, Golden Birdwing. My family and I also saw 2 giant spiders! Our guide was very sweet and shared his story of he and his wife began this place over a decade ago. The facility also features a display of gemstones along with a box full of them which one can mix and match to purchase. The Tropical Spice Plantation came with a warm welcoming when passing through the bridge by means of having flowers tossed at us. It was delightful and we were given a lemongrass & ginger tea before our tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the different spices we saw! To conclude the tour she gave us each a lavender oil drip down our backs to cool us off and promote a feeling of relaxation. There’s a cute small shop to purchase spices, oil, honey, and other natural handmade products for sale, so be sure to make a pitstop there! Just before leaving my family and I enjoyed an array of buffet style Indian cuisine. I highly recommend this tour! Read more Written 30 November 2023

Good communication prior to departure/ collection. Tour guide appeared to always be rushed and treating the journey stops as tick box exercises. After the first stop, about 4 people had to run after the bus because this had left without them. Bus was old and smelled of petrol, although AC was working well. Loud music was played at 7am until i asked to be switched off. Same happened in the pm when people complained again. Lunch at the plantation was again rushed, and it all seemed like a conveyor belt process. The guide would start talking about the plants without enduring everyone re-joined the group from the previous point. It all was hectic and rushed and nothing like an experience you’d remember for anything else but means of transportation to the waterfall. 45 min jeep ride (worth it!) from park to waterfall + 90 min to spend there (more than enough if you don’t intend to do the trek that takes you to the train rails) Read more Written 18 October 2023

When we finally arrived to the waterfall, it was so crowded… I don’t recommend this tour for people who used to high quality tours and who don’t like crowded places. But spice farm was nice. Situated in the Sahyadri range of the Western Ghats close to Pune and Mumbai, Lonavala is the most visited hill station in Maharashtra and the place to be during monsoons. With lots of waterfalls, lakes and hills around, it is a popular destination for camping, trekking and other adventure sports.

Surrounded by dense forests, waterfalls, and dam alongside lakes, it is a must-visit if you admire nature. Located at an elevation of 624 m above sea level, Lonavala is one of the twin hill stations - Lonavala and Khandala (these two can be easily visited together). The popular tourist attractions in Lonavala are Bhaja caves, Bushi dam, Karla caves, Rajmachi fort, Ryewood lake, among others. Lonavala is also popular for the treks like the Andharban trek that starts from a village called Pimpri and ends in Bhira. • Hodgkiss159 0 contributions 3.0 of 5 bubbles Was alright Water park was okay. It wasn’t that busy yet the waiting times on slides that required a dingy was just silly. The system is just strange, waiting at the bottom of a slide for a ring which on a couple slides took close to an hour. It’s fair to say that the park clearly lacks in the amount of dingys required to accommodate the amount of people going to the water park, when as previously stated wasn’t even that busy. • nataliaaW6384IZ 0 contributions 1.0 of 5 bubbles Very terrible experience, rip off My family and I were told this is a luxury cruise that would be beautiful. We got dropped off at a very unpleasant spot where strays were walking around, it was very dirty and unclean and the welcome was just overall very poor. There was terrible service and little assistance and when we complained there was no empathy and defiance in our refund. We hopped onto the boat and two of my siblings didn’t have functional chairs, the pillow was sticking up they were broken on two chairs. The floor wasn’t cleaned it was dirty, same with the windows and walls. There were holes in the ceiling and everything was stained. The tables were very small and did not cater for more than two people. My mother requested vegetarian meals and there were no meals as per her request and what we paid for, the boat did not look like it was suited to be eaten on anyways. The photos that were taken of the previous group were chucked onto the dirty concrete floor and organised on the floor before put on the table. We paid top dollar for this and were unfortunately let down and ripped off. This is definitely not a luxury cruise like what is advertised. Read more Written January 2, 2024
  • saiyyara 0 contributions 3.0 of 5 bubbles Did not match the hype We went here after reading several 5 star reviews with our kids who are 8 and above. It’s an over the top colourful extravaganza. Cons: 1. The entry fee is exorbitant considering you pay extra for everything except the show- food, rides, and games. 2. The show was colourful but just a parade of huge sets. Does not really engage the audience except for a bit towards the end when the colourful big balloons were thrown in. 3. Rides are childish, not for children above 5-6. 4. After a few games, they all feel the same. 5. Everything is too colourful, ornate and over the top… feels nauseating at a point. Pros: 1. The carnival parade was colorful, dancers were dressed beautifully and presented a great show. The audience joins in in the dancing towards the end with lots of colorful balloons and bubbles floating about. The place truly feels magical then. 2. The kids club had some animals which the children were happy to hold and pet for awhile. 2. The dancers do a great job in the show, and added some life to the sets with their constant waving and a colorful dance towards the end. 2. Buffet had a decent variety of food to choose from including vegetarian. 4. The staff is very helpful and try their best to help you with any questions you may have. My two out of three stars are really for the staff and the dancers… no complaints there Read more Written December 12, 2023
