Walk in BTS’s Footsteps
Let’s start with 3 iconic places to start your BTS Seoul Tour.
HYBE Entertainment Building
Big Hit Entertainment moved to its new headquarters in the district of Yongsan as it became HYBE Entertainment in March 2021.
HYBE is now the headquarters of multiple labels and spans across all 19 floors of the building.
It is not possible to enter the building and the chances are rare for you to meet your idols here, but it is a place to visit absolutely in your BTS Seoul Tour!
Address | Floor Yangjin Plaza 5F, 5 Hakdong-ro 30-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, South Korea
Old Big Hit Entertainment Studio
The Old Big Hit Entertainment Studio has now become a must-visit place for fans of BTS, as this is where it all began.
This building has seen a lot of blood, sweat and tears from the boys, but it produced the massively popular group we know today!
Although the place is not easy to find and will require you to put on your best pair of glasses, once you find it you’ll see how iconic this place still is for the fandom.
The walls are filled with written messages from ARMYs, and in a whole lot of languages. People travel far to see the place!
Address | 10-31 Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, South Korea
BTS’ Trainee Days Restaurant – Yoojung Sikdang
Yoojung Sikdang is the best place to get the ‘pre-fame’ BTS feel.
The group would eat at this restaurant very regularly in their pre-debut days, and even mentioned it later in variety shows.
The restaurant is still open today, and is now filled with BTS merchandise. The group’s favourite dishes are still on the menu: Dolsot Bibimbap and Jeju Black Pork.
Address | 14 Dosan-daero 28-gil, Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, South Korea
Shooting Locations in Seoul
This list will mix photoshoots and filming places. You might recognise a few!
Laundry Pizza
FROM | BTS Love Yourself: Her E, Version Photoshoot
We’re not the only one writing lists like this one, but the Laundry Pizza is ALWAYS included.
It is an iconic and highly photogenic place to visit, a great place to take your own pictures.
By the way, this is a real restaurant, and you can eat delicious pizzas there!
Address | 810-13 Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, South Korea
Dongjak Bridge
FROM | Love Yourself trilogy photo teaser with V.
Dongjak Bridge, or Dongjakdaegyo Bridge, must be the most popular bridge in Seoul as a lot of K-dramas were filmed there.
It crosses the Han river and includes a railway in addition to the road.
It is one of the busiest bridges as well, with large numbers of pedestrians using it, so you should probably plan to come early to take nice pictures.
Make sure to always pay attention to the vehicles coming and going, and stay safe.
Address | 386 Ichon-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, South Korea
Seoul Forest Woodland Playground
FROM | Love Yourself: Answer Photoshoot with Suga.
Unlike the gloomy tunnel in which Suga looks particularly sad and lonely, the area of the park the photoshoot was done is very lively with children running everywhere!
Seoul Forest is a place where people can ride bikes, walk around and bring their children to playgrounds.
Address | 273 Ttukseom-ro, Seongsu-dong 1(il)-na, Seongdong-gu, Seoul
Iryeong station [ 일영역 ]
FROM | Spring Day (MV) – Scenes with V
This abandoned train station became hugely popular overnight, after V shot a few scenes of Spring Day there.
You are allowed to visit the scene and take pictures, but even though the station has been discontinued, you should remain careful when crossing the rails.
Address | Yangju-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea
You can see the station as soon as the MV starts:
Dongho Bridge
FROM | I Need You (MV) – Scenes with J-Hope
Here’s another bridge for you to visit!
Just like Dongjak Bridge above, Dongho also combines road and rails to cross the Han river.
As always, be careful of vehicles when taking pictures of the place.
Address | Oksu-dong, Seongdong-gu, Seoul, South Korea
Shooting Locations NOT in Seoul
Alright, this is a BTS Seoul Tour but we couldn’t resist and added 4 more shooting locations for you to see!
If you have time leave Seoul for a bit and visit those?
Yongin Daejanggeum Park
FROM | Daechwita [대취타], Suga’s solo video as Agust D.
You probably remember this MV as vividly as me, as the location chosen to film was just magnificent.
It is in fact the largest outdoor film set for historical dramas in South Korea, and has replicas of ancient buildings from the Samguk, Goryeo and Joseon periods.
The most recent K-dramas filmed in this location are:
- Haechi (2019)
- Extraordinary You (2019)
- Rookie Historian Goo Hae-ryung (2019)
- My Country (2019)
- Mr. Queen (2020)
The site has been open to the public since 2011, so you will be able to enter freely and take pictures yourself.
PS – You might also recognise the place from Stray Kids’s MV “ Double Knot (English ver.) “.
Address | 778-1 Yongcheon-ri, Baegam-myeon, Cheoin-gu, Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do
Jumunjin Beach Bus Stop
FROM | You Never Walk Alone – Album Cover
The bus stop featuring on the album cover was so popular after the album’s release that the city Gangneung in Gangwon Province decided to build a replica with the sole purpose of being a photo spot for BTS’ fans.
Address | 8-54 Hyangho-ri, Jumunjin-eup, Gangneung-si, Gangwon-do, South Korea
Bomun Tourist Complex
FROM | The most beautiful moment in life pt.1 – Photoshoot
Remember this beautiful photoshoot where the group poses under cherry blossom trees near to a lake?
Yep, it’s this one and you can visit this location too!
Bomun Tourist Complex is an immense area filled with leisure and tourist facilities such as shopping malls, golf resorts, palace gardens etc.
Address | Sinpyeong-dong, Gyeongju-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do
Camellia Hill
FROM | Love yourself trilogy – Photoshoot with Jin
Located on Jeju Island, Camellia Hill is a camellia arboretum created in 1979.
According to this website “The arboretum is home to 6,000 camellia trees of 500 different species including species that are known to produce the world’s largest and earliest blossoms.”
A beautiful photoshoot was made with Jin in this location.

BTS Seoul Tour | Places to Eat
We’ve seen BTS pre-debut restaurant earlier, but we’ve got more addresses for you to go check out.
Ossu Seiromushi [오쓰 세이로무시]
In 2018 Jin and his eldest brother opened a Japanese restaurant called Ossu Seiromushi .
They serve traditional Japanese dishes and quickly became a very popular place to dine in.
The restaurant is always full so you’ll need to make a reservation beforehand!
Address | 30 Baekjegobun-ro 45-gil, Songpa-gu, Seoul, South Korea
This cafe is in Busan but if you happen to be in the area you should go and take a look!
Magnate opened in 2019 and is owned by Jimin’s father.
You can drink a cup of coffee and eat delicious pastries, all whilst enjoying the elegant and minimalist interior of the place.
Address | 135 Jinnam-ro, Nam-gu, Busan, South Korea
The Min’s [더민스]
The Min’s is owned by 2AM’s Lee Changmin and you probably already expected to see this one one the list, as it used to be BTS’s favourite cafe.
Unfortunately, the cafe permanently closed recently.
BTS Seoul Tour | More Places to Visit
These places are not filming or shooting locations but still have a link to our favourite group, and are all worth checking out.
Banpo Hangang Park
Banpo Hangang Park always has been a go-to place for Seoul locals, and for that reason was featured in “BTS’ Life in Seoul”.
“BTS’ Life in Seoul” is a short promotional video of Seoul featuring our boys, aimed at displaying everything you could do in Seoul.
Address | 40 Sinbanpo-ro 11-gil, Seocho-gu, Seoul, South Korea
See Banpo Hangang Park in the first part of the video :
You read correctly, RM has in fact two forests!
- Forest 1 was created by fans in celebration of RM’s 25th birthday.
- Forest 2 was created in celebration of his 26th birthday.
RM has always been an advocate for the preservation of our environment, so these gifts couldn’t have been more spot on.
Addresses: Forest 1 | 65 Hangaram-ro, Jamsil 2(i)-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul Forest 2 | 389 Ichon 2(i)-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul
This location is probably the least popular of the list, just because people don’t know it exists!
If you happen to be in Gwangju, you must visit the “hopeworld” sculpture the city revealed near the end of 2020.
The sculpture, a collaboration between the city of Gwangju and a K-pop Art School, was created in honour of J-Hope.
21,800 messages from fans all around the world were engraved on the sculpture, which is set in a very colourful area, making it a beautiful piece to visit.
Address | 62-3 Chungjang-dong, Dong-gu, Gwangju, South Korea
More BTS & Even More K-pop
Hallyu k-star road.
Originally known as the “luxury road of Cheongdam”, the K-Star Road is visited by many Kpop fans all year long and we can easily understand why!
From Apgujeong Rodeo Station towards Cheongdam intersection there is 1km to walk with GangnamDols everywhere and entertainment companies based in the neighbouring streets.
GangnamDols are sculptures of big bear dolls designed with Kpop groups branding.
There are 17 of them, gotta catch them all!
Address | 407, Apgujeong-ro, Gangnam-gu, Seoul Subway station | Apgujeongrodeo
Star Avenue | LOTTE Duty Free
Star Avenue is a must visit for any fan of the Korean entertainment industry.
You may well have seen the group’s handprints everywhere on social media? Well it’s here in LOTTE Star Avenue!
Here’s a quote from their own website :
“LOTTE DUTY FREE will continue to serve as an ambassador of K-CULTURE which takes the lead in promoting Korean culture and revitalising the tourism industry.”
You got it, you’ll get to see LOTS of K-pop and K-drama related content whilst visiting this place!

The Ultimate BTS Tour : 8 Places Every ARMY Should Visit while in South Korea
- April 7, 2022
- , Useful Information
Written by: Emily Creasman
It is no secret that BTS has made a lasting impact on how South Korea is perceived by the world. The hallyu wave (the term for Korean popular media and culture) has been flooding the international scene over the past few years with Korean food, dramas, and music finding immense popularity with new audiences. Leading that wave is none other than the seven-member boy group BTS who’s well-deserved fame has in many ways reshaped South Korea’s tourism scene. In fact, in 2017, the band was solely responsible for 1 in every 13 tourists in South Korea . (that’s insane!) So, in honor of BTS’s success and their contributions to Korean tourism, today we’ll be looking at the most iconic tourist locations in Korea for BTS fans! From filming locations to the member’s favorite dining spots, this list covers eight places every ARMY must visit while in Korea.
Jumunjin Beach Bus Stop
The Jumunjin Beach Bus Stop in Gangneung Province is perhaps one of the most famous locations for ARMYs to visit. Featured on the cover of BTS’ 2017 full-length album “You Never Walk Alone,” the bus stop has since become a full-time tourist attraction where you can take pictures posing just as the BTS members once did.
Adventure Korea now offers a private taxi tour package that goes directly to the Jumunjin Beach bus stop! After snapping pictures at the stop, walk along the beautiful Gyeongpo Beach, visit Jungang Market and Anmok Coffee Street, and get a taste of traditional Korean culture by visiting the Ojukheon Hanok House! Click here for more information. Location: 8-54 Hyangho-ri, Jumunjin-eup, Gangneung-si, Gangwon-do

Daeo Bookstore
Daeo Bookstore is the oldest second-hand bookstore in Seoul, founded in 1951, and is located in the quaint and aesthetic neighborhood of Seochon Village. The store is recognizable by its bright blue frame and traditional hanok-style architecture. On the inside, books are filled to the brim, making it a paradise for inspiring philosophers and bookworms–it’s no wonder that RM visited here twice!
A cafe later opened next to Daeo, owned by the daughter of the store owner, and all its profits go toward maintaining the bookstore. Sip on an iced latte and get lost in this charming piece of history.
Location: 55 Jahamun-ro 7-gil, Cheongunhyoja-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul
Hours: Monday-Sunday: 12:00-9:00

You can even choose a guided tour narrated by a BTS members’ pre-recorded voice. Alongside BTS, galleries for HYBE’s other artists, including NU’EST, Seventeen, TXT, and ENHYPEN, are on display.

Despite not having a BTS theme, the owner provides a wall where Army visitors can leave sticky notes. Furthermore, the café showcases BTS paintings and photos for visitors to enjoy, offering a unique opportunity to experience the former living space of BTS members from 2016-2017. Moreover, the café offers a delectable selection of food and drinks.

In collaboration with J-Hope’s fan club, the Seoul city government has established the J-Hope Forest within Seoul Forest Park. The fan club made generous contributions, and the city government provided the location. The J-Hope Forest is nestled between the central pond and the water playground, covering an area of 213 square feet. This tranquil garden holds a special place in J-Hope’s heart.

BTS Stan Tour: 7 Places In Seoul ARMYs Have To Visit
In Korea, K-pop fans sometimes go on what is called a dukhoo tour. Basically, it stands for “stan tour.” Fans will identify (public) places that their favorites have been to and plan their entire day dedicated to their favorite stars!
We’re sure that in the long list of ARMY bucket lists, one item that tops the list is visiting Korea. And we’re even more certain that visiting BTS-related places takes up a huge chunk of that list. If you’re nodding your head yes at this, then thankfully, we’ve compiled some of these places into one list so that when you finally get the chance to visit Korea, you’ll be able to find them without much trouble!
Check out seven places in Seoul that are perfect for your very own BTS stan tour:
Yoojung Sikdang
Remember how we couldn’t stop crying when BTS won their first daesang, or when they performed “Born Singer” at the “2017 WINGS Tour Final In Seoul”? Yoojung Sikdang holds a special place in the BTS members’ hearts. It’s one of their regular go-to restaurants after hours of hard practice during the early days of their debut, but it also serves as a reminder of BTS’s humble past for ARMYs.
In an interview, the owner remarked, “I love them like they’re my own children. They’re all so polite and kind.” She added “I truly believe that they’ll be successful. They’re so polite and bright. I really think they’ll be successful. They have to be!” Actual tears running down our faces right now.
Address : 서울특별시 강남구 논현동 8-8 Directions : Get off at Hakdong Station through Exit 7. Keep walking forward for about 10 minutes until you see Fotton Garment to the right across the street. When you see it, turn left to the first street you see and walk up. Take a right immediately, and walk until you see Yoojung Sikdang.
BT21 Line Store + Cafe
The BT21 store and cafe is an obvious destination course for any ARMY, young and old. Although BT21 merchandise can be found in multiple LINE stores around Seoul, the Itaewon flagship store in particular is special since this is where Tata, RJ, Chimmy, Cooky, Mang, Shooky, Koya — and space robot Van — all came to life, drawn by the members themselves.
The second floor holds a display for BT21 clothes, dolls, accessories, and other goods, while the third floor is the LINE Store’s very own cafe. One portion of the third floor is dedicated to all things BT21, so take all the pictures you want and even sit in the seats BTS sat in while they created these adorable characters!
Don’t forget to try out the special BT21 drinks as well. I bought the mango slushy “Chimmy” drink, which also came with a little postcard of Jimin. It was too cute, and refreshingly delicious!
Address : 서울특별시 용산구 이태원로 200 Directions : Get off Itaewon Station through Exit 3. Walk straight until you see the Line Store! The BT21 store is on the second floor, while the cafe is on the third floor.
Abandoned Swimming Pool At SNU
If you’re a HYYH enthusiast like me, you’re going to cry (cue that RM line in “Fake Love”) tears of pure sadness at this next stop, since this is one of the locations from the “HYYH On Stage: Prologue” video. Remember when the boys were enjoying their youth, playing golf, and dancing in an empty weed-infested swimming pool in the video? The abandoned swimming pool at Seoul National University is where they were able to get all those nostalgic shots.
Although many people have added their own creations to the graffiti-covered walls, many of the artwork displayed in the video can still be seen today. The abandoned swimming pool has a rustic, mystical charm to it, as if all time has stopped since the pool was abandoned. It takes some effort to get here, but it is so worth it.
Directions : Get off Seoul National Univ. Station through Exit 3. Walk straight until you see the 5513 bus stop. Ride the 5513 bus until you stop at 유전공학연구소.반도체공동연구소 (the bus stop ID is 21-277). Walk towards the building/parking lot on the right, and find a stairway that leads up a mountain trail. Just walk straight up until you come across the pool building. You should find the stairs to the abandoned swimming pool after a couple of steps in the area.
&gather cafe
Ah, yes, episode 45 of “Run BTS!” — another chaotic episode in which Jin is wearing a bunny suit while the rest of the members are decked out in full barista gear. Which is a rather regular day in the life of Bangtan, to be honest.
ARMYs who’ve watched this episode will know that although it was all fun and games with Jin’s ridiculous costume, the boys went all out in attempting to create their very own cups of various coffees. At &gather cafe, ARMYs will be able to see just where the boys were putting in all their blood, sweat, and tears into perfecting the coffee recipes.
I was able to go when the cafe was a holding an event for Jimin’s birthday and received a coffee cup holder after buying a rosy latte (Jin’s coffee!). The cafe also had a corner dedicated to Jimin.
Address : 용산구 한남동 96-3 Directions : Get off Hannam Station through Exit 1. Walk down the road until you see a GS25 convenience store. At here, turn right, and keep walking until you reach the first stoplight to cross the street. Cross, then keep walking further until you come across the cafe on your left.
Laundry Pizza
Laundry Pizza is where BTS shot their album jacket covers for “Love Youself: Her.” Though it might look like a vintage laundromat, it’s actually a pizza restaurant!
Enjoy a slice of pizza while you check out all the aesthetic props in the restaurant!
Address : 서울 강남구 봉은사로4길 22 Directions : Get off Sinnonhyeon Station through Exit 4 and make a right turn immediately (you should see Next Plastic Surgery Clinic before turning). When you see the CU convenience store, take a left and keep walking until you see Gyoza In Seoul. Take a right there, and keep walking until you come across Laundry Pizza, Double Trouble, or Brotherhood Kitchen, since they’re all in the same building. Laundry Pizza is in the basement floor.
VT Pink House
The VT Pink House is a dessert cafe for the VT cosmetics brand, but it’s plastered with so many photos and stands of BTS that it might as well be a BTS cafe! Located in the heart of Hongdae, the VT Pink House will take up plenty of space in your phone due to the sheer amount of aesthetic photos you can take here while you enjoy a sweet drink.
The cafe recently added an image of BTS to its walls outside, so make sure to take some photos here as well!

Star Gallery at Lotte Department Store
An extremely tourist-y place, but a requirement for your Seoul trip is the Star Gallery at Lotte Department Store. If you’re multifandom, you’re in luck, since you can be surrounded by not only BTS, but also TWICE, Super Junior, and EXO as well!
Getting back to our boys though — once you get to the Star Gallery, you’ll be able to feel as close to them as you can without intruding on their space, via a hand model display! As you can see, V has ridiculously large hands, while Jimin’s hands are just as smol as you’d probably think. Although we may not be able to meet them in person, the hand model display serves as a great way for us to feel closer to our boys.
Address : 서울특별시 중구 을지로 30 Directions : Underground at Euljiro 1-ga Station, head towards Exit 7, but don’t climb up. Instead, head towards the entrance of the Lotte Department Store. Pass by the fast food restaurants and take a left to walk until you spot the escalators. Take the escalators up to the first floor, walk out Exit 4 and you should see the Star Gallery right away!
These are just seven of the countless BTS-related places around Korea. There are even more outside of Seoul, too. I know, we can hardly wait to do a part two to this BTS stan tour.
Which location do you want to visit the most? Let us the know in the comments below!

Also called the ‘Bangtan Bus Stop’, this location enjoys popularity owing to the band’s You Never Walk Alone cover. This isn’t an actual bus stop and was only built for BTS’ album. However, seeing fans and tourist frenzy at this BTS location, the city of Gangneung in Gangwon Province decided to create a replica which serves as a popular photo booth to date.
You’ll even find multiple shots of this place in Spring Day’s music video. Moreover, Hyangho Beach itself is a major tourist attraction – perfect to surf, swim or enjoy a summer day out. It’s also relatively less crowded and cleaner than other beaches around the East Sea. So, ARMY, grab your beer and spend a relaxing day at this BTS location.
3. Iryeong Station
Location: Yangju-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea
This abandoned , quant station in the Gyeonggi Province is perfect for those thrill-seeking folks looking to reminisce about BTS’ rise to global stardom. For the unversed, the Iryeong Station is where the music video of Spring Day was made. From rusty signboards to a faded slate roof, this place offers the perfect vintage vibe for you to click some really interesting pictures. Even though the station has been discontinued, be careful while crossing the rails.
4. Maengbang Beach
Location: 228-239, Maengbanghaebyeon-ro, Samcheok-si, Gangwon-do
If you’re a fan of BTS’ Butter era, this place is for you! Thanks to the band’s superhit Butter album photos in 2021, the Maengbang Beach in Samcheok (which long went unnoticed), saw a huge influx of tourists. When you enter the beach, the first thing that’ll strike you is the iconic brightly coloured chairs and umbrellas from the band’s pictures, while a big structure of BTS also decorates the place. Play, swim or stroll around the gorgeous beach and don’t forget to pose BTS style in this backdrop!
5. Laundry Pizza
Location : 810-13 Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, South Korea
From BTS’ 2017 album photoshoot for Love Yourself: Her, ( E Version), this restaurant is (quite literally) a treat for all ARMY. Apart from delicious pizzas, this place offers amazing photogenic spots with its vintage laundry theme and colourful interiors. Choose from their most popular cheese, pepperoni, potato, mac, spinach bacon or cheese options and devour your meal while gazing at BTS’ glimpses from the shoot.
This celebrity favourite BTS location has also hosted K-pop celebrities like I.O.I, SHINee’s Key, EXID, GOT7, Apink, as well as Henry for various shoots.
6. Yongin Daejanggeum Park
Location: 778-1 Yongcheon-ri, Baegam-myeon, Cheoin-gu, Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do
Channel your inner Suga at this architectural wonder! For those unfamiliar, the Yongin Daejanggeum Park is where the BTS member filmed his solo video for Agust D’s Daechwita . The song’s MV is extremely popular among fans owing to the exquisite shots and unique concept, all thanks to this expansive outdoor film set.

The largest historical drama set in South Korea is also where popular K-dramas like Dong Yi , Queen Seondeok , and Moon Embracing The Sun were shot. If you want to soak in the lifestyle, architecture, and culture of the past, this beautiful spot is the place to be. The park is open all seven days of the week and there’s free entry, which makes it more tourist friendly.
7. BT21 LINE Friends Store and Cafe
BT21 LINE Friends Store (Gangnam) : 1305-3 Seocho-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul, South Korea
BT21 LINE Friends Store (Hongdae) : 141, Yanghwa-ro, Mapo-gu, Seoul
Collect your favourite BTS-themed goodies at these cutesy BT21 stores operational in Gangnam and Hongdae. BT21 comes as a collaboration between BTS and LINE Friends, wherein each band member designed their own animated avatars including Tata, RJ, Chimmy, Cooky, Mang, Shooky and Koya.
These stores offer everything from clothes, dolls, accessories, and other goods to fulfil all your BTS fantasies. However, the highlight of these stores is their in-house cafe offering character-themed delicacies including desserts, smoothies, sundaes and coffees. Make sure to try the BT21 coffee while you’re here.
8. Yoojung Sikdang Restaurant
Location : 14 Dosan-daero 28-gil, Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, South Korea
If you want to get an idea of what BTS’ rookie days looked like, Yoojung Sikdang is a must-visit place. The band used to visit this restaurant regularly during their pre-debut days since it was located near their dance practising studio. The eatery, owned by Kang Sun Ja, also found mention in BTS’ 2013 series Rookie King .
Apparently, the BTS septet loved the Dolsot ((hot stone pot) Bibimbap as well as the Jeju Black Pork which are still on the menu! Apart from BTS memorabilia, there’s a table specially marked with stickers for where the members would usually sit. Yoojung Sikdang is perfect for those looking to devour traditional Korean dishes at affordable prices.
9. Old Big Hit Entertainment Studio
Location : 10-31 Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, South Korea
This place has seen the BTS members embroiled in extensive hard work to become the global icons we know today! The band members would often operate from this building, which created a massive buzz around this location. Finding this place is a real struggle (almost impossible), so be ready to undergo a tedious journey. But believe us, all that effort is worth it when you get a glimpse of this iconic location.
Millions of fans from across the globe have left their mark (almost vandalised) on the walls. The studio is where the boys churned magic, so BTS ARMY should not miss it if they’re travelling to Seoul.
10. Achasan Mountain
Location : 135, Yeonghwasa-ro, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul
If you’ve watched BTS’ weekly variety show, Run BTS! , this place isn’t a novelty to you. For those unfamiliar, RM and V had to climb the mountain and see the sunrise as a punishment (which actually turned out to be a magical experience).
Standing at the peak of the mountain, V mentioned, “We came here for the punishment, but it is good to see this beautiful scenery, which doesn’t seem to be a punishment.” His statement indeed stands true, with the mountain offering splendid panoramic views of the Hangang River and Seoul. It’s also a great place for all hiking enthusiasts looking for some adrenaline rush.
We hope this BTS-friendly guide helps ARMY plan their itinerary!

There are more reasons to visit the Han River, too. Besides its popularity, BTS has shot many videos there. For instance, the “I NEED U” video has a shot of member J-Hope crossing Dongho Bridge. RM also references the river in his song “Seoul.”
Laundry Pizza (BTS Love Yourself: Her Photoshoot)
Another popular spot to eat is Laundry Pizza in Seoul’s Gangnam district, you may recognize it from BTS’ album photoshoot for Love Yourself: Her, E Version. Here, fans can enjoy pizzas in the same place where BTS had their legendary photoshoot that we still think about to this day! It’s decorated like a laundromat which gives the place its extra charm. For BTS’ popular series in 2020, BTS In The Soop , the members stayed in Lake 192, which is a house in Chuncheon, South Korea. Many groups reserve the scenic spot for parties and getaways

This photoshoot location can be found at 810-13, Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
ARMYs can enjoy a variety of pizzas in the same place BTS took photos for their album Love Yourself: Her.
4. &Gather Cafe
After a long day of touring Seoul, fans can also go for coffee at &Gather , the cafe from episode 45 of Run BTS! .
It is located at 1F 96-3, Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul and offers a variety of cafe beverages and desserts.
5. Big Hit Entertainment ‘s New Building.
What could be a more iconic hotspot for ARMYs than BTS’s new workplace? BTS moved to their new Gangnam studio space back in 2017.
BTS Just Moved To A New Building, Here’s What Their New Home Looks Like
Although fans can’t pop in to see the famous group, they can take photos outside its front doors.
6. Yoojung Sikdang
This lovely restaurant can be found at 14 Dosan-daero 28-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. BTS often visited this restaurant when they were rookies, and it was featured on an episode of Rookie King .
After practicing at their dance studio, BTS would pop over to Yoojung Sikdang for a tasty dinner. The restaurant’s specialty is Jeju black pork. Dolsot bibimbap was one of the members’ favourite dishes.
7. The Mins
BTS’s favourite cafe, The Mins, is located in Apgujeong. It is run by 2AM ‘s Lee Changmin . Since BTS visited it so often, their pictures and autographs can be seen throughout the cafe. Cherryade and lemonade were some of BTS’s favored drinks here.
8. Hallyu K-Star Road
K-Star Road is also located in Apgujeong. BTS has been known to stop here and do some shopping when they’re in Seoul.
A BTS bear has been erected in the group’s honour and has provided fans with a great photo-taking opportunity. This spot is especially great for multi-fans because it features a line up of different group’s doll statues, called Gangnam Dolls.
9. BT21 Store
A day of BTS shopping would not be complete without a trip to the BT21 flagstore in Itaewon.
Here fans can purchase a variety of cute merch based on BTS’s LINE FRIENDS character series.
10. Giani’s Napoli
The Giani’s Napoli located in Gangnam is known to be one of Jin ‘s favourites. It serves traditional Italian food and authentic wood-fired pizza.
It can be found at 15 Dosan-daero 15-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
11. Hamkyeongdo Chapssalsundae
Jin and Jungkook both love Garak-dong’s Hamkyeongdo Chapssalsundae, a restaurant specializing in sundaeguk (Korean blood sausage soup). If you go in for a bite of suyuk (steamed pork), you might just run into these stars! It is located at 32 Songpa-daero 28-gil, Songpa-gu, Seoul.
12. Seoul Forest Woodland Playground
Fans looking to recreate Suga’s shot from his Love Yourself: Her poster should head over to this concrete tube in Seoul Forest, a large park in Seongdong-gu.
It may take a while to find, but it would be well-worth the search to sit where Suga once sat!
13. Dongjak Bridge
Dongjakdaegyo is a bridge over the Han River in Seoul, South Korea. It carries road traffic and Seoul Subway Line 4, and Dongjak Station is located at the southern end of this bridge.
This is where V took his photos for his Love Yourself: Her poster. Any fans who visit this bridge on foot must be careful, since it is a high traffic area.
14. Jeju Island
Although there are many reasons why travelers should visit this popular destination, the Love Yourself: Her photoshoot is a good one. Jin took his poster photo at Camelia Hill, on Jeju Island.
Camelia Hill, or Dongbaekdongsan, is located in Jeju’s beautiful Gotjawal forest.
J-Hope ‘s poster photo was taken along a pathway in Jeju.
15. SNU (Seoul National University) Abandoned Swimming Pool
This pool is not great for swimming in, but it does make for a great photo opportunity if you’re willing to go out of your way to find it.
After taking a bus to the SNU Genetic Engineering Research Center, take the mountain trail to the left of the building.
After about 5-10 minutes of hiking you will arrive at the set of BTS’s onstage: prologue music video.
16. Dongho Bridge
Your browser does not support video.
This bridge is where J-Hope walked alone in BTS’s emotional “I Need You” MV.
Dongho Bridge spans above the Han River in Seoul.

BTS in Concert
BTS, an acronym of Bangtan Sonyeondan or "Beyond the Scene", is a South Korean boy band that has been capturing the hearts of millions of fans globally since their debut in June 2013. The members of BTS are RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook. Gaining recognition from their authentic, self-produced music and top-notch performances to the way they interact with their fans, the band has established themselves as global superstars breaking countless world records. While imparting a positive influence through activities such as the Love Myself campaign and the UN ‘Speak Yourself' speech, BTS has mobilized millions of fans across the world (named ARMY), topped prominent music charts, sold out worldwide tours including stadiums and has been named as one of TIME 100: The Most Influential People of 2019. The band has also been recognized with numerous prestigious awards like the Billboard Music Awards and American Music Awards.
BTS are serious performers with a sense of humor. They're also K-pop chart-toppers who've shattered boundaries across the world. A BTS show includes fantastic costume changes, over-the-top visuals (which often include the crowd), and a mix of rap club bangers, EDM pop, and R&B. The band first toured Japan in 2015 on the Summer Sonic Festival and Wake Up: Open Your Eyes tours. Later that year, they took their brilliance global with The Most Beautiful Moment in Life: On Stage tour. They followed that in 2017 with the Live Trilogy Episode III: The Wings tour and 2018's BTS World Tour: Love Yourself. If you're not a member of the BTS Army yet, don't worry — it's just a matter of time.
BTS were formed by Korea's Big Hit Entertainment in 2010, though the lineup wasn't finalized until 2013. They align themselves with teens who are targets of criticism, stereotyping, and expectations, and they established their name with the "school trilogy" EPs in 2013 and 2014. Their first single was "No More Dream." In the fall of 2014, they released their first full album, ‘Dark & Wild,' and by 2015, the group began to make waves internationally: ‘The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Pt. 2' topped six international charts for four weeks. BTS were the first K-pop act ever to achieve such a feat, and the firsts didn't end there. In 2017, their EP ‘Love Yourself: Her' debuted in the Billboard 200's Top 10, the first K-pop album to do so. They won Top Social Artist at the Billboard Awards in both 2017 and 2018, thanks in part to a record-breaking volume of video views. In 2018, ‘Love Yourself: Tear' was the first foreign-language album to top the Billboard 200 in over 10 years. Then ‘Love Yourself: Answer' did it again, just months later. The K-pop juggernaut is unstoppable: The band has appeared on the cover of ‘Time Magazine,' and won a truckful of awards: Melon Music Awards, Seoul Music Awards, Gaon Chart Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards, Korean Music Awards, and more.

PLS COME TO SEATTLE WASHINGTON
plsss I beg they need to come to Seattle WA🙏🙏😭😭 I beg for them to tour around us not just from LA to LA they need to see there are also other places to tour around!🙏💜
2025 Loading
Ill never say good bye this means forever. I’m still waiting.
been an army since 2014 and still havent had a chance to be In their concert . still waiting but living a life while waiting
Cannot wait for 2025!!
I can’t wait for when they’re all back for the great reunion tour! (Not too certain if it’s true. I’ve seen a lot abt it on social media tho..) if true, I am certainly attending!
seeing BTS was such an amazing opportunity. def will never regret going to their concert. i hope I can see them again. it will be war.....
Absolutely incredible, every single time
I’ve had the pleasure to see BTS twice: once in Chicago for the Love yourself: speak yourself tour and once in Las Vegas for PTD: on stage. In addition, I’ve also seen j-hope at Lollapalooza and Suga for the D-Day tour. As a group and as soloists, they perform their hearts out each and every time, but it’s really as a group where they shine the most. Anyone who knows BTS’ story knows how much they live for concerts and performing to ARMY and it’s obvious by the way they speak and act during those concerts. Kpop has a reputation of idols lip syncing in favor of performing the choreo for most live performances, but BTS prove that you can do both at the same time without sacrificing the quality of either one. Each and every song will have perfectly executed choreo on top of raw live vocals from both the singers and rappers. Even non-fans who don’t know anything about BTS or their music cant help but be captivated by their live stages. In an increasingly desolate industry where kpop groups with seemingly no purpose or originality are pumped out every other Sunday, BTS’ artistic integrity, passion for their craft, and message to their audiences rings loud and true even over a decade later and even in a temporary hiatus. They really are the once in a lifetime kind of act that will never repeat itself no matter how desperately some may try. I consider myself incredibly lucky to have experienced multiple performances by BTS and the members, and I am anxiously awaiting their reunion in 2025, and especially the reunion tour💜
Best concert I’ve ever had
I went by myself because getting a ticket is so hard. You can’t actually explain the feeling of seeing BTS live. So much energy from their performances and them singing live was incredible! I can say that this was one of the best days of my life! I can’t wait for 2025!!
Waiting for 2025
BTS concerts never ever disappoint. More than a concert, it’s like coming home or going to a big party with people you love! First time I saw them live was in their LYSY Tour at Metlife Stadium in 2019. Was supposed to see them again in 2020 for the MOTS Tour but sadly the pandemic shut everything down. When things opened up again and they did the PTD Tour in LA and Vegas, I was fortunate to get tickets and see them again. Not knowing that would be the last time until we meet again. 💜💜💜

Fun facts from our Moscow Metro Tours:
From the very first days of its existence, the Moscow Metro was the object of civil defense, used as a bomb shelter, and designed as a defense for a possible attack on the Soviet Union.
At a depth of 50 to 120 meters lies the second, the coded system of Metro-2 of Moscow subway, which is equipped with everything you need, from food storage to the nuclear button.
According to some sources, the total length of Metro-2 reaches over 150 kilometers.
The Museum was opened on Sportivnaya metro station on November 6, 1967. It features the most interesting models of trains and stations.
Coffee Ring
The first scheme of Moscow Metro looked like a bunch of separate lines. Listen to a myth about Joseph Stalin and the main brown line of Moscow Metro.
Zodiac Metro
According to some astrologers, each of the 12 stops of the Moscow Ring Line corresponds to a particular sign of the zodiac and divides the city into astrological sector.
Astrologers believe that being in a particular zadiac sector of Moscow for a long time, you attract certain energy and events into your life.
Paleontological finds
Red marble walls of some of the Metro stations hide in themselves petrified inhabitants of ancient seas. Try and find some!

Go beneath the streets on this tour of the spectacular, mind-bending Moscow Metro! Be awed by architecture and spot the Propaganda , then hear soviet stories from a local in the know. Finish it all up above ground, looking up to Stalins skyscrapers, and get the inside scoop on whats gone on behind those walls.
Know More about this tour
We begin our Moscow tour beneath the city, exploring the underground palace of the Moscow Metro. From the Square of Revolution station, famous for its huge statues of soviet people (an armed soldier, a farmer with a rooster, a warrior, and more), we’ll move onto some of the most significant stations, where impressive mosaics, columns, and chandeliers will boggle your eyes! Moreover, these stations reveal a big part of soviet reality — the walls depict plenty of Propaganda , with party leaders looking down from images on the walls. Your local guide will share personal stories of his/her family from USSR times, giving you insight into Russia’s complicated past and present. Then we’re coming back up to street level, where we’ll take a break and refuel with some Russian fast food: traditional pancakes, called bliny. And then, stomachs satiated, we are ready to move forward! We’ll take the eco-friendly electric trolleybus, with a route along the Moscow Garden Ring. Used mainly by Russian babushkas(grannies) during the day, the trolleybus hits peak hours in the mornings and evenings, when many locals use it going to and from their days. Our first stop will be the Aviator’s House, one of Stalin’s Seven Sisters, followed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs — and you’ll hear the legends of what has gone on inside the walls. Throughout your Moscow tour, you’ll learn curious facts from soviet history while seeing how Russia exists now, 25 years after the USSR.

This tour exceeded our expectations. Nikolai (Nick), our tour guide, was very knowledgeable, thorough, and has a great personality. He didn't take shortcuts and really covered everything that was on the agenda in great detail. We saw beautiful metro stations and learned the history behind them, including many of the murals and designs.
We did the tour with Anna her knowledge and understanding of the History surrounding the metro brought the tour alive. Well done Anna!

Touring the Top 10 Moscow Metro Stations
By Claudia Looi 2 Comments
Komsomolskaya metro station looks like a museum. It has vaulted ceilings and baroque decor.
Hidden underground, in the heart of Moscow, are historical and architectural treasures of Russia. These are Soviet-era creations – the metro stations of Moscow.
Our guide Maria introduced these elaborate metro stations as “the palaces for the people.” Built between 1937 and 1955, each station holds its own history and stories. Stalin had the idea of building beautiful underground spaces that the masses could enjoy. They would look like museums, art centers, concert halls, palaces and churches. Each would have a different theme. None would be alike.
The two-hour private tour was with a former Intourist tour guide named Maria. Maria lived in Moscow all her life and through the communist era of 60s to 90s. She has been a tour guide for more than 30 years. Being in her 60s, she moved rather quickly for her age. We traveled and crammed with Maria and other Muscovites on the metro to visit 10 different metro stations.

Moscow subways are very clean
To Maria, every street, metro and building told a story. I couldn’t keep up with her stories. I don’t remember most of what she said because I was just thrilled being in Moscow. Added to that, she spilled out so many Russian words and names, which to one who can’t read Cyrillic, sounded so foreign and could be easily forgotten.
The metro tour was the first part of our all day tour of Moscow with Maria. Here are the stations we visited:
1. Komsomolskaya Metro Station is the most beautiful of them all. Painted yellow and decorated with chandeliers, gold leaves and semi precious stones, the station looks like a stately museum. And possibly decorated like a palace. I saw Komsomolskaya first, before the rest of the stations upon arrival in Moscow by train from St. Petersburg.
2. Revolution Square Metro Station (Ploshchad Revolyutsii) has marble arches and 72 bronze sculptures designed by Alexey Dushkin. The marble arches are flanked by the bronze sculptures. If you look closely you will see passersby touching the bronze dog's nose. Legend has it that good luck comes to those who touch the dog's nose.
Touch the dog's nose for good luck. At the Revolution Square station

3. Arbatskaya Metro Station served as a shelter during the Soviet-era. It is one of the largest and the deepest metro stations in Moscow.

4. Biblioteka Imeni Lenina Metro Station was built in 1935 and named after the Russian State Library. It is located near the library and has a big mosaic portrait of Lenin and yellow ceramic tiles on the track walls.

5. Kievskaya Metro Station was one of the first to be completed in Moscow. Named after the capital city of Ukraine by Kiev-born, Nikita Khruschev, Stalin's successor.
Kievskaya Metro Station
6. Novoslobodskaya Metro Station was built in 1952. It has 32 stained glass murals with brass borders.

7. Kurskaya Metro Station was one of the first few to be built in Moscow in 1938. It has ceiling panels and artwork showing Soviet leadership, Soviet lifestyle and political power. It has a dome with patriotic slogans decorated with red stars representing the Soviet's World War II Hall of Fame. Kurskaya Metro Station is a must-visit station in Moscow.

8. Mayakovskaya Metro Station built in 1938. It was named after Russian poet Vladmir Mayakovsky. This is one of the most beautiful metro stations in the world with 34 mosaics painted by Alexander Deyneka.

9. Belorusskaya Metro Station is named after the people of Belarus. In the picture below, there are statues of 3 members of the Partisan Resistance in Belarus during World War II. The statues were sculpted by Sergei Orlov, S. Rabinovich and I. Slonim.
10. Teatralnaya Metro Station (Theatre Metro Station) is located near the Bolshoi Theatre.
