Swedish House Mafia revealed the opening acts for their upcoming world tour on Monday (April 18).

The musicians acting as support for the house music trio will include Grimes , Kaytranada , Alesso , Zhu and Vintage Culture . The previously announced trek round the world kicks off July 29 at Miami’s FTX Arena.

And that’s not all: Axwell , Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso have also added a few additional dates to the tour, which will close this November in Tampere, Finland, after crisscrossing the U.S., Canada, Europe and the U.K.

During the tour, which arrives on the heels of the trio’s long-awaited debut album Paradise Again , Live Nation will bring back a vintage collector’s item for many an ardent music fan — the ticket stub – in the form of an NFT collectible .

The Weeknd & Swedish House Mafia Both Delivered the Hits During 2022 Coachella Co-Headlining Set

While they were already confirmed on the lineup, Swedish House Mafia reunited with their “Moth to a Flame” collaborator The Weeknd on Sunday night to take over the Coachella headlining slot vacated by Ye . Before the performance, the group also made history with the first-ever Spotify livestream to celebrate the release of Paradise Again .

The swedish house music supergroup's tour is kicking off late summer. Here's everything you need to know.

'Paradise Again World Tour 2022' will be Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso's first proper run together in nearly a decade. The tour shares the same name as the group's debut album. Experimenting with a dark, more techno-inspired sound, the hotly anticipated album was released Friday 15th April, boasting 17 glorious tracks. Swedish House Mafia's iconic comeback has been the talk of the dance world, with the trio hitting the road in July for their 45-date world tour.

The newly reunited Swedish House Mafia will make their major festival return as performers at Coachella in 2022. The festival, which has been rescheduled time and time again over the pandemic, landed on the two weekends of April 15 through 17 and April 29 through May 1.

Swedish House Mafia performed their last live festival set as a trio at Coachella in 2012 as a final goodbye after deciding to amicably part ways. It’s only fitting that they take the stage again at what will be a return for both themselves and the festival.

The EDM powerhouse group is the first act to be announced for the festival, which is already sold out of passes. Their inclusion was announced on social media where Coachella shared an orange-tinted photo of the trio walking through the desert towards the festival’s iconic Ferris Wheel.

On their own social media, Swedish House Mafia shared a 19-second visual of a black bomber jacket being designed under the slams under an embroidery machine. The final moment of the visual reveals the completed jacket which reads “Swedish House Mafia Live Coachella 2022.”

Earlier this week, the trio announced the upcoming collaboration with The Weeknd: “ Moth To A Flame .” The announcement visual shared on both act’s social media accounts featured the dark, blue-hued aesthetic more closely associated with The Weeknd. Since making their return with the singles “ Lifetime ” with Ty Dolla $ign and 070 Shake and the solo “It Gets Better,” Swedish House Mafia have incorporated the bold orange coloring of a desert into their visual releases.

Before they take the stage at Coachella next year, the group is slated to release their third studio album Paradise Again before 2021 comes to an end. Members Axwell, Steve Angello, and Sebastian Ingrosso have expressed that their creative reunion doesn’t rely on whether they sell millions of records, or if they pick up where they left off. What matters, they say, is that they’re together once again and creating music that they love.

Electronic music giants, Swedish House Mafia , have once again sparked mass excitement in New York with the announcement of a surprise, one-night-only performance at the Brooklyn Mirage this Saturday, April 27th .

Following their recent GRAMMY nomination and continued multi-platinum success, this exclusive show marks a welcome return for Swedish House Mafia to the New York City stage since their sold out MSG performance in 2022. Furthermore, it serves as an exciting early kick-off to the Brooklyn Mirage’s 2024 season, a week ahead of its originally scheduled launch. Fans can anticipate a captivating live set bursting with the group’s signature energy. Swedish House Mafia asked Brooklyn Mirage to open earlier this year. They said yes!

Swedish house mafia to perform this saturday, the 27th of april 2024 at the brooklyn mirage, making it open the club before the official opening party in may.

Swedish electronic dance music supergroup Swedish House Mafia has pulled off a major coup for their diehard New York City fans .

The trio of Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso, and Steve Angello were keen to perform in the Big Apple during their permanence this week but faced one logistical hurdle – their desired venue, the popular Brooklyn Mirage outdoor club ( recently redesigned ), wasn’t scheduled to open until May.

But the trio simply asked if the venue could open early just for them, and much to their delight, the Mirage agreed.

Now, Swedish House Mafia will christen the 2024 season at the Brooklyn clubbing institution with an exclusive one-night-only performance this Saturday, April 27th.

How to get tickets for the Swedish House Mafia One Night Only show at Brooklyn Mirage?

Fans had just a brief window to enter for presale access , with registrations closing Wednesday night. A handful of lucky devotees will also win a pair of general admission passes in a competition run by the venue. Those who missed out on presale codes will have to try their luck with the general public on-sale this Friday at 12pm ET.

The show will come after their brand new song,  Lioness , coming out this Friday.

The April 27th Brooklyn show promises to be an intimate but undoubtedly epic warm-up for this summer Residency in Ibiza . Don’t you worry child, New York – Swedish House Mafia are back.
