Paramore

Paramore have announced UK and Ireland tour dates for spring 2023. Bloc Party will be supporting the trio on their first shows in the UK since 2018.

The tour, in support of the band’s highly anticipated sixth album This Is Why , kicks off in Dublin on 13 April before making dates in Cardiff, Glasgow, Manchester, London and Birmingham.

Tickets are general sale at 10am next Friday 28 October here .

Venue pre-sales will begin on Wednesday 26 October. Fans who have already pre-ordered the album will get a code to access the pre-sales.

A portion of ticket sales for these shows will be donated to Support + Feed, a charity that “takes action action for a global shift to an equitable, plant-based food system to combat food insecurity and the climate crisis”.

The band have also confirmed they will be working with environmental nonprofit REVERB on the tour “to create positive impacts for people and the planet.” They have teamed up on “a comprehensive tour sustainability programme” and will be hosting an “eco-village” at each stop on the tour to shine a light on important environmental and social causes.

Paramore were interviewed by The Guardian to mark the album announcement back in September. Looking back at the band’s career so far, Hayley Williams reflected, “We met at the craziest age and we should not have made it through all the things we’ve been through together.”

Williams went on to discuss writing the lyrics for the new album, “I look at the internet, the news, and it feels like [we’re in] Lord of the Flies . When I was writing the lyrics, I was like, this social experiment – the internet – has been going wrong since day one. It exposes and exploits the general population’s blatant disregard for nuance. Some days I feel so over it, almost to the point of apathy, but that’s the struggle – that you have to fight.”

The Reading Festival 2010 - Day 3

It’s finally happening – after years of quietly preparing their new album, Paramore are coming back to the UK and Ireland in 2023.

The American rock band, who returned with new single This Is Why last month, will return to the UK and Ireland for six shows, after they last toured here in 2018.

Their upcoming album, also titled This Is Why, will be released in February, just before their upcoming tour is scheduled to begin.

Tickets will be going on general sale on the morning of Friday, October 28.

Then, the tour will start in Dublin on April 13, before travelling over the Irish Sea to Great Britain, where Hayley Williams and co. will set up shop in Cardiff on April 15.

Glasgow (April 17), Manchester (April 18), London (April 20), and then Birmingham (April 22) will complete the tour – their first in the UK since 2018.

There’s no word yet on prices, but if the recent sale for Blink-182’s reunion tour is anything to go by, fans are going to have to start saving now.

Paramore fans who purchase (or have already purchased) pre-order bundles for This Is Why will be eligible for pre-sale on October 26 at 10am.

A portion of the ticket sales will be donated to the charity Support + Feed, an organisation that ‘takes action for a global shift to an equitable, plant-based food system.’

Paramore will be hitting the stage as a trio once again after singer Hayley Williams and multi-instrumentalist Taylor York were re-joined by drummer Zac Farro.

The band released their debut album, All We Know is Falling, in 2005, which was followed by their breakout record Riot! in 2007.

Misery Business, the lead single from that album, then shot the band to worldwide fame, alongside Twilight soundtrack song Decode.

Their third album, Brand New Eyes, was released in 2009 before the band took a four-year hiatus, returning with their self-titled album in 2013.

After Laughter, their most recent record, was made available in 2017. Since then, the band have been exploring other musical ventures.

Williams, 33, released two solo albums, Petals For Armor in 2020 and Flowers for Vases in 2021, along with critically acclaimed single, Simmer.

WATCH: Paramore - 'This Is Why' (music video)

Back in September, in a social post that bordered on nonchalant, Paramore released their first new music in four years, the staccato singalong title track to forthcoming album 'This Is Why'.

In their first interview since their return, Hayley Williams revealed the trio have made a guitar heavy sixth album.

The singer explained that the new music will draw from their earlier influences but won't necessarily be a "comeback 'emo' record."

Paramore through the years:

Career beginnings.

Paramore was created in 2004 when friends Hayley Williams, brothers Josh and Zac Farro, Jeremy Davis and Jason Bynum would meet up and jam together after school. As most of the band apart from Davis were under 18, Hayley's parents would drive them to perform at various shows and festivals. After attracting the attention of record label executives, the band, who originate from Franklin, Tennessee, was signed to Atlantic Records and Fueled By Ramen in 2005. However, shortly after this, Davis left the band citing personal reasons and was replaced by bass player John Hembree.

2005: 'All We Know Is Falling'

Upset about Davis leaving the band, Paramore used the experience as inspiration for their debut album, 'All We Know is Falling'. Despite leaving five months earlier, Paramore asked Davis to return just before the album was released. He accepted and replaced Hembree. Later that year, guitarist Hunter Lamb was brought in to replace Jason Bynum. 'All We Know Is Falling' was released in July 2005, along with singles 'Pressure', 'Emergency' and 'All We Know'. The album reached Number 4 on the UK Rock chart and Number 51 on the UK chart. It also peaked at number 30 on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums in 2006. While the album didn't perform as well as their record label had hoped, it did help Paramore to build a larger fanbase, particularly in the emo/alternative rock scene, on both sides of the pond.

2007: 'Riot!'

Paramore had their major breakthrough moment after the release of their second album, 'Riot!' in 2007. The now 2x Platinum-selling album featured singles 'That's What You Get', 'CrushCrushCrush', 'Hallelujah' and their biggest song to date, 'Misery Business'. The band chose the name 'Riot!' for the album, because it means "a sudden outburst of uncontrolled emotion" which they felt "summed it all up".

2007: Jeremy returns and Taylor York joins

At this point, the band had gone through yet another lineup change after saying goodbye to Hunter Lamb, who was later replaced by guitarist Taylor York, a friend of the Farro brothers. Davis was also briefly expelled from the band, which according to Josh Farro was due to "his lack of work ethic and participation in things that Zac, Hayley and I didn't agree with". However, Hayley later convinced the rest of the band to let him return as their bass player for the second time.

2009: Third album 'Brand New Eyes'

After extensively touring their 'Riot!' album, Paramore went back into the studio to write and record their third album in 2009. 'Brand New Eyes' was released later that year and was an international success, thanks to singles 'Ignorance', 'Brick By Boring Brick', 'The Only Exception', 'Careful' and 'Playing God'. Paramore then went on tour with You Me At Six for a 15-date European tour, which culminated at a show at London's Wembley stadium which was watched by over 12,000 fans.

2010: The Farro Brothers leave Paramore

In 2010, Hayley, Jeremy and Taylor announced on the Paramore website that founding members Zac and Josh Farro had left the band. The trio wrote, ' None of us were really shocked. For the past year, it hasn't seemed as if they wanted to be around anymore ... We want Josh and Zac to do something that makes them happy, and if that isn't here with us, then we support them in finding happiness elsewhere.' A year later, Paramore released their first single as a trio, 'Monster' which featured on the movie, Transformers: Dark of the Moon soundtrack.

2012: Fourth self-titled album

In 2012, Paramore released their self-titled fourth album -their first as a trio. This album marked a change in direction for the band as they came back with a brand new look and sound. The change worked in their favour, with the album reaching Number 1 on the US Billboard 200 and the UK Album chart.

2015: Grammy Awards and Jeremy Davis leaves

In 2015, hit single 'Ain't It Fun' won the Grammy Award for Best Rock Song. This album also produced the commercially successful single, 'Still Into You' which has since gone double platinum. Despite the global success of 'Paramore', Jeremy Davis left the band for the third time to focus on his personal life in 2015.

2016-2017: Zac Farro returns

In early 2016, Hayley Williams announced on Twitter that Paramore were in the process of writing their fifth album. However, while many were expecting Hayley and Taylor to continue as a duo, eagle-eyed fans spotted photos of former drummer Zac Farro playing with the band on their social media channels. Unsurprisingly, Zac Farro's reunion with the band was officially announced in 2017.

2017: 'After Laughter'

With the new line-up in place, Paramore released 'After Laughter', their fifth studio album in 2017 which had a distinct '80s new wave vibe. It debuted at Number 6 on the US Billboard 200, making it their third top 10 on the chart and also reached the Top 10 in countries such as the UK, Australia and Canada.

2019: Hiatus

Much to the disappointment of their fans, Paramore took to Instagram in August 2019 to announce that they would be taking a break to pursue solo projects.

2020: Solo projects including Hayley Williams' solo album 'Petals For Armor'

Hayley went on to release her debut solo album, 'Petals for Armor' , which was co-written and produced by bandmate Taylor York. The album performed well upon its release, reaching Number 4 on the the UK Albums chart and Number 18 on the US Billboard 200. Drummer Zac Farro also released his first solo EP, 'Zafari' in 2020, which has strong Reggae influences.

2021: Silver vinyl edition of 'Riot!' released

Paramore rereleased their 2007 hit album 'Riot!' on special silver edition vinyl to celebrate the record label Fueled By Ramen's 25th anniversary. In addition, the band hosted a fan art design contest, getting the opportunity to submit their 'Riot!'-inspired designs with the band will choosing a winner, featured on their official Paramore merch and sold on their web store plus a $500 cash prize.

2021: The hiatus is over

In Nov 2021, Hayley Williams revealed that the band's hiatus is now over and teased to fan that Paramore's highly-anticipated sixth studio album could be with us sooner than we think. When asked about the prospect of using her unused solo songs for a new Paramore album during a fan Q & A on Twitter, Hayley said: "There are more songs, yeah. But I'm not planning on another solo album and I'm not sure if they'd be great for Paramore. I'm ready for the next Paramore album. Let's go."

2022: The band get back in the studio

The group confirmed in Jan 2022 that they were back in the studio recording their sixth album - the first in five years. While there's currently no title or release date for the new record, the Tennessee trio promised the return of riffs to Paramore's sound as the album will feature "more emphasis on the guitar" than 2017's 'After Laughter', according to vocalist Hayley Williams.

2022: 'This Is Why'

Finally, Paramore fans had some new music to sink their teeth into with the release of single 'This Is Why' in September 2022. Hayley said of the track, which the upcoming sixth album is named after: "'This Is Why' was the very last song we wrote for the album. To be honest, I was so tired of writing lyrics but Taylor convinced Zac and I both that we should work on this last idea. "What came out of it was the title track for the whole album. It summarizes the plethora of ridiculous emotions, the rollercoaster of being alive in 2022, having survived even just the last three or four years. You'd think after a global pandemic of biblical proportions and the impending doom of a dying planet, that humans would have found it deep within themselves to be kinder or more empathetic or something."

2022: When We Were Young festival

The trio took part in the 'When We Were Young' festival in October 2022, performing alongside the likes of The All-American Rejects, Sleeping with Sirens, and Black Veil Brides. Also on the bill were forgotten favourites We The Kings, The Ready Set, and 3OH!3, plus newcomers like Meet Me @ The Altar and The Linda Lindas.

2023: New song 'C'est Comme Ça'

Paramore released their new single 'C'est Comme Ça' on 12th January 2023 to promote their upcoming album 'This Is Why', after single 'The News' was put out in December 2022.

2023: 'This Is Why' album release

Paramore's album 'This Is Why' was released on 10th February 2023, preceded by an explanatory post from the group which described why you might listen to it: "Hello. It's been 5.5 years since we released our last album. What'd we miss? "If within the last 5.5 years you've felt/experienced sensations of: Agoraphobia, Righteous Rage, Confused About The Difference Between Selfishness and Self-Preservation, Complete and Utter Apathy, Cabin Fever, Deep-Seated Vengefulness, Moral Superiority, Dissociation, Disassociation, Disbelief At The Inconsistencies of The American-English Language, American Psycho, Revelation, Nostalgia For Things You've Not Yet Experienced and Did Not Know You Even Wanted To, Resignation Then oh boy, do we have an album for you."

2024: Grammys win

Starting off 2024 with a bang, Paramore picked up two awards at the Grammy Awards ceremony which took place on 4th February. Both for their sixth studio album 'This Is Why', the band won awards for both Best Alternative Music Performance and Best Rock Album.

Here’s How To Get Tickets For Paramore’s UK & Ireland Tour

This is why you should leave the house.

Paramore in 2022, image provided to press by Atlantic Records

The wait is finally over. After five long years, Paramore has announced they’re touring the UK & Ireland to celebrate the release of their upcoming sixth album This Is Why . Kicking off in April, Hayley Williams and co. will be joined by beloved indie-rockers Bloc Party on the special leg of their tour, having previously pointed to the band as a huge influence on their new record.

“From day one, Bloc Party was the number one reference because there was such an urgency to their sound that was different to the fast punk or the pop punk, or the like, loud wall of sound emo bands that were happening in the early 2000s,” vocalist Williams said on her BBC Sounds Everything Is Emo podcast over the summer.

The tour takes place a couple of months after This Is Why ’s release, on Feb. 10, 2023. Paramore will be donating a portion of the proceeds to Support + Feed , an organisation which works to combat food inequality around the world. They’re also teaming up with the eco non-profit REVERB for “a comprehensive tour sustainability programme,” and will be hosting an “eco-village” at each tour stop to educate punters about important environmental and social causes.

Fancy rocking out to Paramore hits, both old and new? Here’s everything you need to know ahead of the big sale.

Where is Paramore Touring?

The band will play the following dates in the UK, heading over to our shores from their previous date in Dublin, Ireland. Eagle-eyed fans will note there’s also a convenient gap surrounding their London date at The O2, and it wouldn’t be surprising if additional dates get added in here later on if demand is as high as expected.

13 April – 3Arena, Dublin, Ireland

15 April – International Arena, Cardiff, Wales

17 April – OVO Hydro, Glasgow, Scotland

18 April – AO Arena, Manchester

20 April – The O2, London

22 April – Utilita Arena, Birmingham

When Can I Buy Paramore Tickets?

The general sale for Paramore’s upcoming UK tour takes place on Friday Oct. 28 at 10 a.m. The band last toured over here following the release of 2017’s After Laughter, and bagging tickets for their long-awaited return is likely to require a fair bit of luck.

That said, you can increase your chances by keeping an eye on Paramore’s various pre-sales. UK-based fans can gain access to a special pre-sale for fans in a couple of ways, but the cut-off point is at 2pm on Tuesday, Oct. 25. Up until then, fans will be eligible for an access code in two ways: either signing up to the band’s official newsletter, or by ordering This Is Why from the band’s online store. The resulting fan pre-sale will take place at 10am, Wednesday Oct. 26, and the code is valid for up to four tickets.

Mobile networks O2 and Three will both be hosting their own pre-sales at the same time for customers, and the following day, on Thursday Oct. 27, there will be a Gigs in Scotland presale at 10 a.m. for the Glasgow date only.

Tickets will go on sale via Gigs and Tours and Ticketmaster.

Following the performance in Dublin, Paramore are set to embark on six more live dates throughout the UK and Ireland , celebrating the release of their latest LP.

Next month, the three-piece will head back across the pond for the North American leg of the tour . This will include dates in North Carolina, Georgia, New Jersey and New York, and feature support from Bloc Party , Foals , Genesis Owusu and The Linda Lindas . Tour dates and remaining tickets can be found here .

In a five-star review of the band’s latest album earlier this year, NME celebrated ‘This Is Why’ for its ability to play with dynamics and showcase their evolution as musicians.

“‘This Is Why’ is as in tune with the textures of today’s forward-thinking rock as much as it is a love letter to Paramore’s brilliantly caustic early days,” it read.

“Where their earlier music was fluorescent, booming and wrapped up in pent-up frustrations, standouts ‘Big Man Little Dignity’ and ‘Figure 8’ stretch the spectrum of emotion outwards. On the former, Williams subtly experiments with cadence and tone in playful ways, while the track’s feverish guitar loop feels expertly engineered to remedy a pure, increasingly anxious expression of the present.”

Earlier this year, Paramore told NME that they consider the release to be “the scariest record we’ve ever made.”

“We were grounded and feeling confident in one aspect of our lives and we were in such a safe bubble,” Williams said. “Then we knew we were going to make something that wasn’t in that safe bubble and that was terrifying. The expectation is the main thing that would slow us down. There’s a lot more people waiting than there was the last time we did this.”

In a gutting bit of news, Indy Man Beer Con have revealed that they will not be returning for 2024 and that last year’s edition of the beloved local festival was their final outing.

Coming to an end after more than a decade of delighting beer fans around Greater Manchester, the North West and the UK as a whole across what they have now looked back on as “10 incredible festivals”, the organisers of Indy Man Beer Con are bringing their successful run to an end.

Following the announcement on Monday, 25 March, founder Jonny Heyes – one of the brains behind Common, Nell’s and Port Street Beer House – said, “The last 12 years have been an amazing journey”.

The independent beer and brewery convention confirmed the news on social media, admitting that it was a “difficult decision” but that they worked with “some of the world’s best breweries” and are full of gratitude to everyone who came through the doors and helped make the festival so popular.

We have made the difficult decision that IMBC will not return for 2024. We’ve enjoyed 10 incredible festivals, working with some of the world’s best breweries. We want to say a HUGE thank you to all involved, and all who have come along to support independent craft beer with us. pic.twitter.com/NQwOWPTBp3 — Indy Man Beer Con (@IndyManBeerCon) March 25, 2024

As per Beer Today , Heyes added: “It’s been a huge privilege to witness the UK craft beer scene blossom in front of our eyes, to work with so many fantastic breweries, and witness their creativity, industry, and growth.

“I am humbled that lots of people have taken a great deal of joy and satisfaction from the little event that we’ve spent over a decade putting on. I am beyond chuffed that you chose to spend your time with us deep in the pool at the incredible Victoria Baths.”

The festival went on to note highlights from down the years and urged previous festival-goers to do the same in the comments, citing instances such as the year of the giant cheese wheels, the ‘Beer Trumps Hate’ foam fingers from 2017 and those extremely stubborn temporary tattoos from last year’s festival.

We’ve certainly created plenty of our own memories in our years attending the festival too, and if we had known 2023 was going to be the final one we certainly would’ve poured one out in its memory.

Seeing the reaction from countless other fans online, it’s clear we’re by no means the only ones either.

From one group of fellow beer lovers to another, thanks for the memories and we sincerely hope to see Indy Man Beer Con make a glorious comeback one day.

A local cat shelter in Oldham has shared that one of their resident cats has been murdered, after her decapitated body was found near the rescue centre.

Oldham Cats has urged pet-owners to ‘be vigilant’ after the shocking incident, which left their ‘precious girl’ Poppy dead.

The 13-year-old tabby had been a resident of the shelter since May 2019 and has been described as ‘the sweetest, most gentle and loving of creatures’.

In a ‘very distressing’ post shared on Facebook , Oldham Cats said that Poppy’s decapitated body had been found close to the shelter on Wednesday evening.

They also said that her head has still not been found.

The shelter wrote: “It angers, sickens and breaks our hearts that Poppy was beheaded and her head is still missing.”

Oldham Cats also said that they are now locking their remaining resident cats inside in the evenings for their own safety.

A JustGiving page has been set up for donations, which will go to building a ‘catio’ – a safe space added to the main building where the cats can be kept at night.

The new space will be named Poppy’s Palace in her honour.

Poppy the tabby cat was found decapitated near Oldham Cats rescue shelter

Oldham Cats said: “Please do be vigilant with your own cats within the vicinity of this area. No animal should have to endure what our sweet little Poppy was subject to.

“Understandably, all our volunteers are heartbroken beyond belief: traumatised, angry and shocked by such an horrific act of animal cruelty.

“Poppy was so innocently sweet, we’d all become her family over the years…her whole world.

“Good night and God bless you Poppy, our forever angel. You’ll forever be in our hearts.”

Paramore is an American rock band formed in Franklin, Tennessee in 2004. With a pop punk and alternative rock sound, the band has released four albums as of April 2013.

Home-schooled teenage vocalist Hayley Williams was signed to Atlantic Records in 2003 as a pop singer, but she despised the cliché and insisted instead on venturing into the alternative rock genre. With friends Josh and Zac Farro, Jeremy Davis, and Jason Bynem, Williams convinced John Janick of smaller record label Fueled by Ramen to sign them as a band. Paramore’s first album “All I Know is Falling” came out on 26 July 2005. The single “Pressure” was Paramore’s debut single, which gained some airplay on the radio waves. However, the band’s name earned major exposure through concert performances, especially at the Warped Tour 2006, winning “Best New Band.”

Paramore’s second album “RIOT!” came out in January 2007, with single “Misery Business” airing in June 2007. The group made their cinematic debut with singles “Decode” and “I Caught Myself” appearing on the movie “Twilight”’s soundtrack. By this time, Paramore had become a major name in alt rock music, with Williams’ fiery red locks as their signature. John Mayer complimented the singer’s voice and named her the “great orange hope.”

The band’s most successful album “Brand New Eyes” was released in 2009 and eventually became certified gold. The single “Ignorance” peaked at #1 on the UK Rock Chart and song “The Only Exception” received significant airplay in the U.S. Paramore began touring alongside major artists like Green Day, No Doubt, and Jimmy Eat World.

Due to a difference in opinion about management, brothers Josh and Zac Farro left the band in 2010. Jeremy Davis stayed on as guitarist and Taylor York as guitarist and percussionist.

Self-titled album “Paramore” came out on 4 April 2013. The single “Ain’t It Fun” was released in February 2014 and is the band’s most successful song played on the radio in the U.S. The band has cited New Found Glory, Jimmy Eat World, U2, and Blink- 182 as influences. Although she doesn’t agree, Hayley Williams has been compared to singers like Avril Lavigne and Kelly Clarkson for her stunning vocal ability and girl power as goddess of rock.

Live reviews

Thanks for the Memories BECAUSE THEY WERE SO GREAT | Monumentour 2014:

On August the 2nd, 2014, with a full bladder and a happy heart I arrived at the Austin360 amphitheater to live out a dream – See Fall Out Boy perform live.

After a brief visit to a way-too-hot Port O Potty and a little loss of dignity, that dream was well on its way to becoming true.

I’m sad to say that I missed the opening band (New Politics). I’m going to go ahead and put the blame for that one on my mom. She’s perpetually late to everything. And yes, that’s right ladies and gents, I do indeed go to concerts with my mom. She can hang 10x better than most people I know and we have virtually the same taste in music. Anyways, after finding our seats (because this was a seated venue which, *annoyed sigh*, we’ll get into another time) it was time for the second band to take the stage. And let me tell you, they made themselves known by firing confetti guns that nearly gave me a heart attack. FOUR TIMES. FOUR MINI HEART ATTACKS. I suppose I should probably tell you that the confetti firing band was Paramore. Maybe you’ve heard of them? Oh, who am I kidding? Everyone knows Paramore, and for good reason.

They’re music is totally energetic and now I can vouch that their performances are too. From the synchronized head banging during Misery Business to the cheesy “we’re all a family” speech, there wasn’t one boring moment during their set. They played both older and newer songs, keeping up the energy and excitement the whole time. Hayley and the boys are so cute when they interact. I have this fantasy that they eat pizza rolls and watch The Simpsons together when they’re not touring. Also, my crush on bassist, Jeremy Davis, only increased when I saw his dance moves. AND THE TATTOOS. MY GOODNESS.

Next up was a music video interlude which I am totally all for. Then, we all went home. JUST KIDDING. After the music videos, the stage lights were dimmed, a creepy voice started talking about fears, and from the center of the platform, four glorious human beings arose. Fall Out Boy started their performance by playing The Phoenix and from there played incredible song after incredible song (because that’s the only kind of song they write). They even did a Queen cover at one point and that is always okay in my book.

I have a lot of feelings about this band. I’ve been a fan since the days of guyliner (ehem, Pete) and novels-for-song titles. On one hand, they make me feel totally hardcore because of their bangin music but on the other hand, I feel like a gigantic puddle of fangirl because they’re all really adorable. I mean, at a certain angle, Joe looks like Patrick Dempsey circa Can’t Buy Me Love, and then you’ve got the precious teddy bear on drums. Andy wore a stoic, almost grumpy, face of concentration for most of the show only to smile and melt my heart at the end.

Next you have the ball of cheese that is Pete. He did most of the talking throughout the performance and the lil’ cutie spewed cliché after cliché about following your dreams and “choosing your own fucking happiness” and it was glorious.

Do I even need to explain Patrick’s preciousness? I swear, he and Johnny Depp are the only two people in the world who can work a fedora. I just want to hug him and cuddle him and kiss him gently on the forehead AND THEN HE HAD TO GO AND DO A THING LIKE BREAK OUT HIS DRUM SKILLS. Hot damn. He and Andy did an incredible drum sesh/ mash up thing with Jay Z’s 99 Problems. Super cool.

Overall, Fall Out Boy performed so well. I’m just sad I haven’t seen them perform live sooner. They seem like amazing people and they deserve every single fan that filled up the crowd.

I've been listening to Paramore since I was just a little girl in the 4th grade and I'm going into the 11th grade this year! So Paramore has a special place in my heart and I would be lying if I said I wasn't worried that they were going to disappoint me at the concert. They didn't though, not even one bit! My experience with bigger bands is that the fame has gotten to their heads and made them less wanting to be there and more wanting to get the show over with. Paramore (or Fall Out Boy, whom they played with, for that matter) didn't do that at all.

Paramore, no doubt, had a rough time when they lost most of their founding members. Even Hayley Williams admitted that she didn't know if they would last as a band but here they are, 10 years after Paramore was created making great music!

Hayley Williams was so interactive with the crowd that it felt like a small show rather then a big one. There was even a few moments when I got teary-eyed especially when she dedicated The Only Exception to all the people in the crowd who'd never been to a Paramore show. Her energy was positively contagious as she smiled happily and bounced around the stage.

When we reached the part of the show where she brings one special guy or gal on the stage to sing the bridge to Misery Business, I found myself laughing the whole time. A very lucky blue hair lad got the crowd pumped with his great performance.

There were so many great songs that were performed that I couldn't even tell you which one was my favorite. The set list included fan favorites such as Still Into You, Ain't It Fun, Misery Business, Brick By Boring Brick (my personal favorite), Last Hope, and many more!

I hope that everyone who's ever fallen in love with this band gets to go, I know I never thought I would. I will never forget this experience.

Paramore at Darien Lake; needless to say "WHOA!" The concert started at 7pm, but the band didn't come hopping in until maybe 20 minutes after the openers set. Although it was still day outside (and all the way back in the lawn seats), nothing could deter the eyes of when the vibrant blue hair of Hayley Williams came out on the stage.

One of the many great things about Paramore is, they just don't bring the energy; they bring their love for the fans out. Hayley talked about the first time they came to Buffalo as a sister band. I think she said 2005 was when they started; she cracked jokes about how the band was still too young so their parents had to drive them there. She asked who was here to see them play their first time in Buffalo, and then she asked for the fans to raise their hands if this was their first time seeing them. During Misery Business, she brought up a few friends (aka fans, but friends to Paramore; which I thought was just so awesome of them to do) whom where there for Paramore's first concert in our city.

Not too many bands appreciate their fans, and make strives to make their fans feel like they belong. If anyone feels alone, like music is letting you down. I recommend Paramore to bring back your faith in music. They care. They love you. They welcome everyone. They want you to participate in their energy they bring to the concert, as much as you want them to. Paramore and their fans are a huge family. Hayley, Jeremy, and Taylor would gladly have their arms open at anytime to bring you in for a big pop/punk/rock hug.

If there's a concert with them in your area, I'd say "Get those tickets quick, this is an atmosphere you don't want to miss!"

I went to a Paramore and Fallout Boy concert on July 8th, 2014. I had a truly wonderful time. and maybe just because I really do love Paramore, but it was pretty obvious that everybody around me was having a fantastic time as well. I have never seen such a small venue (the DTE Music Center in Clarkston, Michigan) be so packed with people Who are so happy to see these performers perform. Paramore was full of energy and they really brought their all to this performance.

Miss Hayley Williams (the lead singer of Paramore) was very Interactive with the audience and she talked to us in between almost every song. She encouraged us to sing along and almost everyone did. What I thought was most special about this Paramore show was how she asked a fan to come up on stage and sing "Misery Business" with her. She was so encouraging and it looked like that girl had a lot of fun and I can't blame her. Miss Hayley Williams danced with the guitarist and it looked like she was having a lot of fun too.

This performance was part of the monument tour which is being persued by Fall Out Boy and Paramore. This tour marks 10 years of Paramore being a band, and I think that's pretty great. The music was great and the energy was awesome. Hayley Williams really is an amazing vocalist and her two guitarists are very talented as well. She also credited the people who are not officially in Paramore but were definitely helping with all of music on stage and the techies off stage. bottom line this was a phenomenal concert and even if you dont like Paramore music I would still encourage you to go.

Now having seen Paramore six times, I may be a little biased, but they do put on one of the best shows I’ve seen. And their time on the Monumentour was no different. Not only is their music great to jump around and head bang to, but it also has beautiful lyrics and messages. There is just something special about this band.

For those of you who know about Paramore, you know the band has been through a lot in the past few years. But (thankfully) that has not stopped them. I believe it has actually made them stronger. Their latest self-titled album, I believe, has been their best yet. It still has the same Paramore sound but at the same time you can hear their growth.

It can also be seen in their shows. Hayley Williams is amazing. She is even better live than on their records. She is also a bundle of energy, running and jumping around the stage. Plus Taylor York and Jeremy Davis kill it on guitar and bass. They all just seem to fit together so perfectly. They really love what they do. Not to mention, the lights, confetti cannons and huge balloons were pretty cool too!

However, what made this show was the message. When Hayley speaks in between songs, you want to listen. Her message is always positive and uplifting. It's not like she is some celebrity talking on stage. It's like you’re just hanging out with one of your friends.

To sum it up, if you want to go to a great concert with dancing and rockin’ out and leave feeling on cloud nine, go see a Paramore show.

Paramore and Fall out boy. One of the best nights of my life! We were able to have the great opportunity of meeting Paramore given to us by their crew. The concert was so interactive and I found myself dancing along and belting my heart out with Hayley.

My favorite part was when they took a girl on stage and let her sing Misery Business with them. She was actually really good!! Then at the end of the show the drummer threw his drum sticks and the guitarist threw his pick. I caught the drum stick! All in all there were many souvenirs I could take home and fawn over for the rest of my life.

The band has had some really rough times and a crazy amount of drama but they were able to learn from that and make some of their best and most popular songs yet. They are getting a lot of recognition now and they definitely deserve it. I would say their music was originally punk rock but now it is forming to be more of a pop punk.

Even if you have never heard of them I encourage you to buy tickets to their show. Look at some of their songs on iTunes, bring a friend and I guarantee you will have a surprising but enjoyable time. Something that one member of the opening act (New Politics) said really interested me. He said all you need is good music and good company in life to have a good time. So come on down to the Monument tour and you won't regret it.

This is the third time I've seen this wonderful band but the first time I've actually paid to see them exclusively. The other two were at festivals.

What you see with Hayley Williams and her merry crew is what you get. A powerful, energetic, sometimes outrageous performance. The music they wrote in their first three albums contributes heavily to this. They made lively punk-pop music and their shows reflect that.

But something changed this time around. Paramore's most recent piece of work, After Laughter, completely changes direction from what they're historically used to providing. While it's a solid album in its own right, it doesn't blend well with the old stuff.

So the group has made a similar switch in their live shows. Two songs from RIOT!, one from Brand New Eyes, nothing from All We Know Is Falling in the setlist. After Laughter was played almost in its entirety, turning this more into a pop concert than a punk one.

Don't get me wrong, Hayley and crew still provide a great night of entertainment and their audiences are equally as explosive. It's just now expectations need to be managed accordingly. For some, this is the end of the line. For me? I'm not sure. But if you come looking for one of the best rock acts on the planet, you may leave feeling a little disappointed.

Talk about the best night of my life, Paramore was the greatest concert I could have ever imagined! Not only was she AMAZING live to listen to but she was so energetic and fun to watch on stage that it made me even more excited to be in the crowd. She talked to everyone in between songs but was hysterical so I didn't mind at all, and really made reference to Detroit so she made it personal.

But the funniest thing she did was play Misery Business-I almost cried because she performed it so perfectly-but right before the big head banger of the song she stopped! And said "gotcha!" It was funny because everyone was throwing their heads back and forth to the beat even though the music stopped haha.

But she then continued to pick a random girl from the audience and announced that it was this girls show for the next three minutes, and let her sing the rest of the song with her on stage! I could not believe it, she made a fans dream come true by bringing her on stage to sing her most classic song. What I would have given to be that girl!

In the future I plan to go to any Paramore concert that comes to town because I could never get tired of seeing her live!

The first time I saw Paramore live was in 2009. Since then, I have seen them seven more times, and every time it is better than the last.

Hands down, they put on the best show I have ever seen. Not only do they sound better than they do on their albums, the energy is through the roof. You can tell that they really put effort into making sure every single person in the audience is having the time of their lives.

Whether I'm in the front row, or up on the balcony I still feel engaged. I was used to them playing theaters like the Wiltern or Palladium but I loved seeing them just as much at The Honda Center. My favorite time seeing them was at the Wiltern though because I got to meet them before the show, plus during my favorite song ("Ain't It Fun") Hayley pointed at me for a second! That's just one of the many ways she, Taylor and Jeremy interact with the crowd. You can tell that the three of them are best friends getting to do what they love. Not to mention they're some of the nicest human beings I've ever met.

I never let the opportunity to see them when they are in town pass me by and neither should you.

Absolutely amazing. I was standing and I was very close to the front. The whole stage presence of the band was incredible and Hayley Williams especially connected so well with the audience. I was looking foward to this show since September, and God was it worth the wait. I’ve seen a lot of bands in my life, but they are right up there with the likes of Iron Maiden, Bon Jovi and Guns n Roses. If all the concerts I’ve been to, this just might be my favourite yet.

And when Hayley chose someone from the crowd to come up on stage and sing Misery Buisness I was jumping as high as I could shouting “ Pick me, pick me!”. Although I was not picked, it didn’t matter, it was still in my eyes, the best band I’ve seen yet. Unfortunately I’m only 15 but if I could drive, I would’ve booked tickets for another show that same night.

Being able to jump and sing to songs like Still into You, Misery Buisness, Ignorance and That’s what you Get was an experience I could not have imagined to be any better. Thank you for an amazing show Paramore. I’ll see you next time

Paramore

Get ready, North America — Paramore is coming. On Friday (Nov. 4), bandmates Hayley Williams, Taylor York and Zac Farro announced plans to embark on an arena tour in 2023, with shows in 26 cities across the United States and Canada.

Here Are the Artists Opening for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour: Paramore, Phoebe Bridgers & More

Trending on billboard.

Fans have until Monday (Nov. 7) to register for both presales on Ticketmaster’s website . A portion of ticket sales for all North American shows will be donated to eco-conscious hunger relief nonprofit Support + Feed and environmental nonprofit REVERB.

The tour will follow the Feb. 10 release of Paramore’s sixth studio album This Is Why , the band’s first LP in almost six years. The record’s lead single — which doubles as the title track — dropped in September .

The “This Is Why” era comes after Paramore took a nearly five-year hiatus from releasing music and performing. The trio made their official return to touring this fall with a run of intimate North American shows, their first circuit since 2017’s After Laughter Tour.

How to buy Taylor Swift tickets: Eras Tour dates and prices compared

When you buy through our links, Business Insider may earn an affiliate commission. Learn more

Taylor Swift's reign continues as she ramps up for the next leg of The Eras Tour. The singer-songwriter will kick off the European portion of her world tour in Paris in May, which will continue throughout the summer. From there, she'll return to North America to tour Canada and a few remaining US cities in the fall. If you're hoping to attend, we've compiled all of the details of The Eras Tour, including how to get Taylor Swift tour tickets.

Swift's Eras Tour has taken the world by storm since March 2023. The three-plus-hour tour features hits from each of Swift's album eras, from "Lover" to her recent Grammy Award-winning "Midnights." Each show also features surprise songs and occasional guests, so fans never quite know what they're in for. Swift will release her latest album, "The Tortured Poets Department," in April, but it's unknown if any of those songs will make their way to the tour setlist.

  • See also: Adele tickets | Olivia Rodrigo tickets | Bad Bunny tickets | Bruce Springsteen tickets  | Drake tickets | Stevie Nicks tickets

Getting tickets has become its own battle and many fans have waited hours in the Ticketmaster queue to hopefully snag some seats, if they could get a presale ticket code in the first place. While Swift continues to extend the tour, including new US dates, tickets remain hard to come by.

Below, we've put together a guide on everything to know about The Eras Tour, including the tour schedule, ticket purchasing details, resale ticket prices, and the concert film streaming options . You can also peruse resale vendors like StubHub and Vivid Seats at your leisure.

Taylor Swift international tour dates

The Eras Tour international dates resume on May 9 in Paris. The European tour will run until August 20 in London. UK prices are listed in pounds, and start times vary from city to city. US dates start in October and can be found under the following table.

Taylor Swift North American tour dates

The Eras tour will return to the US on October 18 in Miami. In addition to the Miami shows, Swift will perform multiple dates in New Orleans and Indianapolis. On November 14, Swift will head to Canada for several shows in Toronto and Vancouver. All North American shows start at 7 p.m. local time.

How to buy tickets for Taylor Swift's 2024 tour

Original standard tickets for Taylor Swift's 2024 sold out long ago for both international and domestic dates. All US tickets and many international tickets were sold through Ticketmaster , although select international locations used different services.

Tickets for most dates are available on resale websites like StubHub and Vivid Seats . These are generally higher-priced than the originals, which are no longer available. Keep in mind that some countries have rules regarding reselling tickets.

How much are Taylor Swift tickets?

Ticket prices vary by date and location. International resale tickets tend to be a bit cheaper than US resale tickets. It's worth noting that some of the cheapest tickets have restricted views.

StubHub's cheapest European tickets range from $392 (Madrid, Spain, on May 29) to £978 (London, United Kingdom, on June 22). The latter is around $1,248 in USD. The lowest prices for most shows are around $450 to $1,000. On Vivid Seats , the cheapest tickets for these dates go for $549 and $683, respectively.

When it comes to North American shows, the cheapest StubHub tickets range from $1,045 (Vancouver, Canada, on December 8) to $2,081 (Miami, Florida, on October 19). Most of the cheapest tickets are priced between $1,200 and $1,800. On Vivid Seats, the cheapest Taylor Swift tickets on these dates start at $1,133 and $2,212, respectively. The two resale vendors generally have similarly priced offerings, but this varies from show to show.

Who is opening for Taylor Swift's tour?

Taylor Swift has a variety of opening acts, from up-and-coming singers to established groups. Opening acts vary by date. For the European leg of the tour, Paramore will open for Swift. In the US and Canada, Gracie Abrams will be the opening act.

Will Taylor Swift add more dates to the Eras Tour?

Taylor Swift already added additional stops to her tour due to popular demand, including her US tour dates this fall. She also added additional dates to some of her European city stops, including bonus performances in France and the United Kingdom, among other locations. It's unknown whether Swift will end up adding even more tour dates, but by the end of the upcoming US leg she will have been touring for almost two years, so fans shouldn't be surprised if she takes a break.
