This week, Journey added 2024 tour dates for Europe. The opening act will be classic rockers Cheap Trick.

In conjunction with their most recent album, Freedom , the new concerts are planned at major venues across the UK and Ireland in October and November. Journey is currently on tour celebrating their 50th anniversary with Toto. Journey will also tour across North America this summer with Def Leppard .

For the new shows, the general public on-sale begin as early as March 1. Presales are currently underway for Ticketmaster and local venues / radio. Tickets for the previously announced shows are now on sale. Keep in mind, each date is different and details are subject to change. Journey are preparing to head out on their massive North American “Freedom Tour 2023,” and for the band that practically wrote the motto for a guaranteed good time, fans will want to secure tickets fast. The group will be supporting their first album in 11 years, July’s Freedom .

What Is Journey’s Next Tour?

The “Freedom Tour 2023” spans 38 cities across North America and begins on February 4th in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Journey will spend the first week on the East Coast between Virginia and North Carolina, then they’ll head south via Lexington, Kentucky and Knoxville, Tennessee. They’ll play Austin’s Moody Center on February 22nd, Jacksonville’s Vystar Veterans Memorial Arena on February 26th, and Washington, D.C.’s Capital One Arena on March 1st.

Journey spends the next week in Canada, opening in Montréal on March 8th, followed by stops in Québec, Toronto, and Ottawa. The band returns stateside on March 16th in Buffalo, then heads to Atlantic City, New Jersey on March 17th. They’ll begin a Midwest jaunt in Champaign, Illinois on March 20th and hit Sioux Falls, South Dakota; Lincoln, Nebraska; Des Moines, Iowa; and Tulsa, Oklahoma before playing Memphis’ FedExForum on April 1st and San Antonio’s AT&T Center on April 4th.

The final leg on the West Coast begins after shows in Missouri, Kansas, and Wyoming. Journey plays Spokane, Washington on April 14th and Eugene, Oregon on April 17th before heading to California for their final four performances in Stockton, Bakersfield, Fresno, and the tour finale in Palm Springs on April 25th.

How Can I Get Tickets for Journey’s 2023 Tour?

Journey tickets will be first available via Citi cardmember pre-sale on Tuesday, October 18th at 10:00 a.m. local time. Artist pre-sales for both Journey and Toto begin on Wednesday, October 19th, and a  Live Nation pre-sale opens on Thursday, Oct 20th at 10:00 a.m. local time (use access code PUMPKIN ). Journey Profile

Journey is a classic rock band from San Francisco, California. They made their debut in 1973 but didn’t find success until 1978 when Steve Perry joined the band as lead vocalist. They first hit single was “Wheel in the Sky” off 1978’s Infinity album.

The group released “Don’t Stop Believin'” in 1981, which is still ironically used today in sporting arenas and pop culture throughout North America.

Steve Perry left the band in 1997 due to a degenerative bone condition. The group began to shuffle band members since then and released a few albums with little success. Since 2007, the lead singer of Journey has been Arnel Pineda. The rest of the band members from 1981 are still present in the group.

Some of Jouney’s most popular songs are Who’s Crying Now, Open Arms, Separate Ways, and When You Love a Woman.

At the beginning of November 2019, Journey announced a new 2020 North American tour spanning 60 tour dates. They planned on bringing The Pretenders on tour with them. Unfortunately, that tour was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In November of 2021, Journey announced a 2022 tour called Freedom. That tour was eventually extended into 2023 and 2024.

In the summer of 2024, Journey and Def Leppard went out on a Summer Stadium tour together.

Legendary rock band Journey announces 50th anniversary Freedom Tour

LUBBOCK, Texas (NEWS RELEASE) - Following the success of the 2023 Freedom Tour, legendary rock band JOURNEY has announced a new round of shows for their 50th Anniversary Freedom Tour 2024 featuring very special guest TOTO.

JOURNEY – Diamond-selling Rock & Roll Hall of Famers – will take the stage in 30 cities across North America with their catalog of global chart-topping hits, including “Don’t Stop Believin”, “Any Way You Want It”, “Faithfully”, “Lights” and more.

Presented by AEG Presents, JOURNEY Freedom Tour 2024 begins Friday, February 9 in Biloxi, MS – making stops in Raleigh, Louisville, Omaha, Las Vegas and more – before wrapping April 29 in Bridgeport, CT.

The tour will makes its stop at Lubbock’s United Supermarkets Arena Friday, March 22.

Citi is the official card of the JOURNEY 50th ANNIVERSARY Freedom Tour 2024 .  Citi cardmembers will have access to presale tickets for the U.S. dates beginning Tuesday, September 26 at 10am local time until Thursday, September 28 at 10pm local time through Citi Entertainment (excluding Canada and Sioux City shows). JOURNEY features founder Neal Schon (lead guitarist), Jonathan Cain (keyboards, backing vocals), Arnel Pineda (lead vocals) Jason Derlatka (keyboards, vocals), and Deen Castronovo (drums, vocals) and Todd Jensen (bass). Neal Schon is a 3x Hall of Fame inductee, having been inducted to the Oklahoma Hall of Fame, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and the Grammy Hall of Fame.  Jon Cain is a recipient of two BMI songwriter awards and was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Journey.

Following the success of the 2023 Freedom Tour , legendary rock band Journey has announced a new round of shows for their 50th Anniversary Freedom Tour 2024 featuring very special guest Toto. Presented by AEG Presents, Journey Freedom Tour 2024 begins February 9th in Biloxi, MS, making stops in Raleigh, Louisville, Omaha, Las Vegas and more, before wrapping April 29th in Bridgeport, CT.

Journey will take the stage in 30 cities across North America with their catalog of global chart-topping hits, including “Don’t Stop Believin’,” “Any Way You Want It,” “Faithfully,” “Lights” and more.

Citi cardmembers will have access to presale tickets for the US dates beginning Tuesday, September 26th at 10 am local time until Thursday, September 28th at 10 pm local time for most shows. A limited number of exclusive VIP Packages are also available. These exceptional offers can include an amazing selection of reserved seated tickets, custom merchandise and much more. Tickets go on sale to the public Friday, September 29th at 10 am local time.

There might be no other band that was able to channel the generational anxiety in those early millennial years and turn it into such powerful and inclusive art quite like Band of Horses. Band of Horses fashioned gorgeously ragged epics, Ben Bridwell’s high-flying vocals and eccentric enunciation floating like a specter that felt like a prelude to a dream. Full of profundity, truth, and sometimes just homespun advice on how to live, Band of Horses songs have become anthems and touchstones for fans. Emotionally intense, both on a personal and elemental level, the songs for Band of Horses’ sixth album, Things Are Great, finds Bridwell more autobiographical than he’s ever been on record, detailing the nebulous frustrations and quiet indignities of relationship changes and what a person will do to make things right. This fresh chapter finds the band recapturing the raw emotion and unpolished punk-rock spirit of its early days. The song Things Are Great documents the connections in Bridwell’s life that have shifted or remained. An epic album, Things Are Great is not an exercise in nostalgia or regret. It’s closer to the classic pattern of the hero’s journey, one where Bridwell doesn’t locate those elusive answers but does find himself in the end, providing hope that all of us can do the same.

(December 7, 2023) – Two of rock's most iconic and influential bands, JOURNEY and DEF LEPPARD, have announced next summer’s hottest co-headlining stadium tour.  The bands will join forces to conquer stadium stages across North America in 2024. This legendary collaboration promises a musical journey like no other, igniting the hearts and souls of fans and delivering a night of unforgettable rock anthems. The 23-city tour kicks off on July 6 at Busch Stadium in St. Louis, MO, while making stops at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, TN; SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, CA; Wrigley Field in Chicago, IL; JOURNEY’s hometown of San Francisco, CA at Oracle Park and more before wrapping up in Denver, CO at Coors Field on September 8. An all-star lineup of bands will vary by city to round out an evening of rock music with performances by: Steve Miller Band, Heart and Cheap Trick. Fans can check local markets for their lineup. Steve Miller has been a monumental presence on the American music scene for more than half a century. At the start of his career, Miller became a mainstay of the San Francisco music scene that upended American culture in the late 1960s. Cheap Trick, the iconic rock band hailing from Illinois, has been rocking stages and winning over fans with their timeless sound for over five decades. Matisse Announces Bella Nostalgia World Tour

They are simultaneously unveiling their latest musical release of the same title.

Matisse , the acclaimed pop music group, has just announced their first WORLD TOUR named “Bella Nostalgia,” commemorating a decade of musical inspiration. This tour marks a milestone in the pop group’s career as they continue to captivate new audiences around the world with their unique style and passion for music.

The tour kicks off its US leg on June 15th in El Paso, Texas. This portion of the tour is produced by Live Nation and will also visit New York, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, before wrapping up in Sacramento on September 17th.

The band, formed by Melissa Robles, Román Torres, and Pablo Preciado, will visit a total of 50 cities across the United States, Europe, and Latin America. Their fans will have the opportunity to relive the most iconic moments of their careers, such as the hit “Como Lo Hice Yo,” winner of the Latin Grammy Award 2022 for Best Regional-Mexican Song, which marked a turning point in their musical trajectory and helped position them internationally.
