Strictly Come Dancing is on its way to Birmingham as part of its nationwide Live Tour.

Three of the judges, eight of the professional dancers and seven celebrities will be appearing at the Barclaycard Arena for three days of dancefloor drama.

The Live Tour is at the venue from Friday, January 22 to Sunday, January 24.

Performance times have been unveiled and will be essential for planning your trip.

You'll need to know how long you need to park, how much parking is likely to cost and what time you expect to get home (or wherever you might be heading afterwards).

If you're getting to and from the venue by rail, the performance times are vital for knowing what trains to catch.

For the performance on Friday, January 22, arena doors open at 6.30pm, the show starts at 7.30pm, there's a 20-minute interval at 8.35pm and the show finishes at 9.45pm.

There are two performances on Saturday, January 23. For the matinee, arena doors open at 1.30pm, the show starts at 2.30pm, there's a 20-minute interval at 3.35pm and the show finishes at 4.45pm.

For the Saturday evening performance, arena doors open at 6.30pm, the show starts at 7.30pm, there's a 20-minute interval at 8.35pm and the show finishes at 9.45pm.

Sunday also offers two performances. For the first of those, arena doors open at 12.30pm, the show starts at 13.30pm, there's a 20-minute interval at 2.35pm and the show finishes at 3.45pm.

The later performance sees arena doors open at 5.30pm, the show starts at 6.30pm, there's a 20-minute interval at 7.35pm and the show finishes at 8.45pm.

Timings are approximate so don't rely on them being exact to the minute when making other arrangements.

It's time to dust off those scoring paddles and get those dancing shoes ready, because the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour is back for 2024!  Strictly legends Shirley Ballas, Anton Du Beke, and Craig Revel Horwood return to take up their judging seats and It Takes Two ’s Janette Manrara is back as tour host.

The Strictly Live Tour will dazzle audiences on the 3rd and 4th of February 2024 at Manchester's AO Arena. Celebrities and professional dancers joining the tour will be announced soon.

Strictly’s Head Judge Shirley Ballas said: “I’m delighted to be judging the Strictly Live Tour once again - there is never a dull moment alongside Anton and Craig! The audiences are always electric, the atmosphere is amazing, and Anton has promised me lots of surprises! I can’t wait for January next year when we get the show on the road!”

Anton Du Beke said: "It was my first Strictly tour earlier this year and I was blown away by the scale and spectacle of the live experience. So, I'm thrilled to be back with all the gang next year and look forward to another incredible tour."

Craig Revel Horwood said: “What better way to start the new year than with the Strictly Live Tour! It’s going to be gorgeous to be back on the road with Shirley, Anton, and Janette. Joining us to entertain you all will be an A-MAZ-ING line-up of celebrities and professional dancers from this year’s series. And, as you would expect, we will have a few extra special surprises in store for the arena audiences along the way. One word, three syllables - FAB-U-LOUS!”

Janette Manrara said: “What an incredible way to kick off 2024! I am always so honoured to host the live tour as it brings everything that viewers love about the Strictly TV show to thousands of people around the UK. It’s a great night out for all the family - I just can’t wait!”

Strictly Come Dancing returned to BBC One and BBC iPlayer on Saturday 16 September for its 21 st series with an all-new exciting celebrity and pro dancer line-up and an array of incredible dance routines. Strictly's Live Tour celebrates all the joy of the TV series, showcasing the amazing choreography and fantastic live music that Strictly is synonymous with – providing audiences of all ages up and down the country the opportunity to experience everything they love about the TV show live on stage in their hometown or city.

Not only are the arena audiences treated to the spectacular roof-raising routines, but they are also granted the power to decide who wins the coveted Glitterball Trophy at the end of each show. The tour judges will of course provide their invaluable wisdom, advice and scores at each performance - we couldn’t stop them if we tried - but the ultimate power lies with the audience. A text for their favourite couple is all it takes; their votes will decide who wins!

As with the 2023 tour, each performance will host a British Sign Language interpreter, who will be displayed on two very large screens on either side of the stage so that audiences can book tickets and sit almost anywhere in the arena to enjoy the experience with family and friends.

There has been a change to the Covid-safety regulations earlier outlined by the Arena as the Government's Covid pass rules alter this Thursday, January 27.

It now points out that Covid passes and proof of vaccine status are no longer legally required.

Of course anyone who tests positive for Covid or who is required to self-isolate must not attend an event. Information about this is on the Government website here .

What about facemasks?

Facemasks are no longer a legal requirement either from January 27, although they are still being recommended in certain situations.

The Government's advice is that face masks should be worn in crowded and indoor spaces where people may come into contact with others who they do not normally meet.

Are there tickets still available?

Strictly fans without a ticket for the Newcastle run are in luck as there is still availability for Thursday's show - see here - as well as Friday's matinee, see here , and Friday's evening show here . Tickets are priced from £41.10. VIP packages are also available.

strictly come dancing live tour running time

Strictly Come Dancing fans can prepare for a sparkling weekend in Manchester as the live tour of the hit BBC show heads to town for FOUR huge arena shows. Strictly Come Dancing Live is at the AO Arena for matinee and evening performances on Saturday and Sunday.

All the finalists from the dance competition's 20th season are back out on the tour including Gliterball champion Hamza Yassin - as well as fan favourites including homecoming hero Will Mellor who is back in ballroom action. At each show on the tour, the audience will get the chance to vote for their own winner based on the dazzling performances they see before their eyes.

It has been a hugely popular arena show in recent years, and gives fans the chance to see their favourite stars in all their sequin-clad glory. And there plenty of laughs along the way too thanks to the show's judging panel also on stage ready to deliver their often hilarious verdicts on the performances.

The Live Tour is directed by show judge Craig Revel Horwood, who will also be joined by head judge Shirley Ballas and Anton Du Beke out on the live tour as a judge this year for the first time. It will be hosted once again this year by former Strictly pro dancer turned presenter Janette Manrara.

Audiences are being promised an even bigger and glitzier spectacle than ever before this year - showcasing the breathtaking choreography, stunning costumes and fantastic live music that have become synonymous with the BBC’s much-loved and hugely successful flagship TV series.

The seven headlining couples will perform favourite routines from the TV series along with new dances and group numbers, with six additional professionals - Amy Dowden, Neil Jones, Robbie Kmetoni, Jake Leigh, Luba Mushtuk and Michelle Tsiakkas - joining them for this supersized live event.

Which celebrities are taking part?

strictly come dancing live tour running time

Seven couples will be back on the live tour - Series winner Hamza Yassin partnered with Jowita Przystal; Helen Skelton with new dance partner for the tour Kai Widdrington; finalist Fleur East with Vito Coppola and joint runners-up Molly Rainford and Carlos Gu. They are joined back on the dancefloor with fan favourites Tyler West with dance partner Dianne Buswell; Ellie Simmonds with Nikita Kuzmin and homeoming hero Will Mellor reunited with Nancy Xu.

Coronation Street star Will hopes to send audiences wild again with his and Nancy Xu’s Dirty Dancing-inspired American Smooth routine. "Getting the chance to do a bit of Patrick Swayze again?” he laughs. "I’ll take it!"

Like the other celebrities, Bredbury-raised Will compares competing on the show to pushing himself way out of his comfort zone. He says: "I liken it to climbing a mountain; it’s really hard work but when you get to the top it’s so worth it.

"I love performing but on tour it’s without the pressure of millions of people tuning in on a Saturday night. I’m looking forward to being back on the dance floor with Nancy."

strictly come dancing live tour running time

Hoping to triumph on tour will be Hamza and Jowita, who salsa-ed their way to the Strictly crown in December. Hamza’s feet haven’t touched the ground since, with the wildlife presenter gushing: "I’ve still not fully comprehended what actually happened.

"I never thought I’d make it past week two, let alone getting to appear in huge arenas."

Who has been winning so far?

strictly come dancing live tour running time

For Helen Skelton it has been a case of changing partners for the tour - but it has been a huge success. On television she was teamed with Gorka Márquez and made the live final, while on the arena shows she’s hot-footing it opposite Kai Widdrington.

And so far they've claimed victory more times than any other couple.

"It’s weird having a new partner," Helen allows, "But I got on really well with Kai when I saw him around the studio and of course he’s a brilliant dancer. Dancing with someone new will keep me on my toes."

What are the stage times for the shows?

The shows over the weekend are at 2.30pm and 7.30pm on Saturday January 28, and at 1.30pm and 6.30pm on Sunday January 29.

Ticketholders are advised that the start times are prompt - so it is recommended arriving at least an hour before the stated show times above to get through security and to find your seats.

AO Arena seating plan

strictly come dancing live tour running time

If you're heading along to one of the four AO Arena gigs and haven't been to Strictly Live before, then expect to be wowed with a more unusual stage setting than traditional gigs at the venue. As you can see from our seating plan above, the main dancefloor dominates the floor of the arena (where usually there are seats).

Premium and VIP seats are right next to the ballroom stage, while there remains a traditional main stage at the front of the arena where the judges, hosts and big screen is set. As you can see on the plan, lower tier and upper tier seating can then be found by the corresponding numbers on your tickets.

Is there parking at the AO Arena?

Yes, there is a large multi-storey car park based next to the AO Arena, with access through the car park to the main entrance of the venue. Be aware though that after the shows, Trinity Way will be closed southbound between Great Ducie Street and Cheetham Hill Road for up to one hour, to allow concert-goers to safely exit the venue.

If you’re parking at the arena car park, you will still be allowed to exit during this closure but you will have to turn right and follow local diversions. There are some 7,000 parking spaces at car parks within a short walk to the arena as well.

What are the public transport options?

The AO Arena is within the Manchester Victoria Train Station complex, which serves both mainline trains and a tram stop.

Are tickets available?

There is limited availability for all shows over the weekend, for booking tickets for all shows click here .

Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour: I saw The O2 show as someone who isn't a big fan and Helen Skelton was breathtaking

Strictly Come Dancing: The Live Tour is now at London's O2 Arena and there's tickets left

strictly come dancing live tour running time

Strictly's popular live tour has finally arrived in London with all its sequins, glitter and camp, family-friendly humour. Admittedly, I don't really watch the beloved show. I keep up with the gossip, I see the highlights, it's just that I never really sit and watch an episode in full.

But, really, it's a show I should enjoy. I love dancing, I adore theatre and I can't keep away from sparkles. Plus there's the added joy I find in secretly hoping celebrities are really bad at something and getting to watch them progress. So with the invite to watch this special arena-touring version of the BBC dance contest, I was quite excited to get my first real Strictly experience.

Strictly Come Dancing: The Live Tour arrived in London at The O2 Arena last night, Friday, February 3 and is on all weekend with four performances. The shows feature incredible production, plenty of audience interaction and dances that (as everyone seemed to chant along) were FAB-U-LOUS. You can get your hands on tickets here.

strictly come dancing live tour running time

There was an absolute buzz as soon as we took to our seats, this wasn't a chilled little Friday night out, this was a big night out for fans. Everyone around us chatted away about the dances they were hoping to see, reminiscing on their favourite memories of the series and admiring other audience members' sequinned frocks.

Unsurprisingly, the demographic was pretty clear; many older women, older couples, families with young kids - not exactly a large number of other twenty somethings here on a Friday night. But it didn't matter. We were welcomed by the ladies next to us, telling me just how much they love Strictly.

And they weren't disappointed. In fact, neither was I - I was impressed. Each celebrity and their professional partner perform two of their best dances from the series, receiving a score from the judges and plenty of applause from the crowd. I was sad to hear one of my own personal favourites, Fleur East, was unable to perform but all of the routines truly are fantastic. From the American Smooth to the Jive, each one is a production within itself and enjoyable from every angle of the audience.

strictly come dancing live tour running time

The tour staging really is just like being in the TV filming studio but bigger. Everything is bigger. The floor of the arena is transformed into a stretching shiny dance floor, with a raised section in the middle that copied the familiar ballroom set-up. At the back sits the wonderful live band and three judges; Shirley Ballas, Anton Du Beke and Craig Revel Horwood.

A small number of the celebrities' routines felt like they weren't quite big enough to fill such a huge space but the addition of extra pro-dancers in some numbers helped the majority to really wow us.

I absolutely loved seeing Helen Skelton's much-talked about performance of Mein Herr live. Partnered for the tour with Kai Widdrington, she truly is a power house on the dancefloor and someone I've continued to admire in adulthood since writing her Blue Peter fan letters as a child. Of course, Hamza Yassin and Jowita Przystal absolutely blew me away too - he is undeniably deserving of his champion status. It was like watching two professionals as we all gasped and wooped at his lifts and perfect steps.

strictly come dancing live tour running time

But nothing really has the arena buzzing more than the big, group dances. The professionals' energy is electric as they bring magical and magnificent moves with the crowd engulfed in disco ball lighting, lit up by pyrotechnics and touched by emotive elegance. By the end, everyone is on their feet too, dancing along to the final up-beat number.

Praise has to be given to Craig of course, who is not only the love-to-hate judge with pantomime villain energy but also the director of the tour. And the whole thing would not be complete without the friendly hosting of Janette Manrara and the exquisite vocals of the four singers - who deserve a little more credit throughout the show.

The judges and Janette are professionals themselves at working the crowd. From perfect puns to the Strictly gags the fans around us seemed to find truly hilarious, the panel know exactly what to do. They have the audience chanting along at the right times, always calling out to them and getting them involved.

But there is one key bit of involvement I found unfair. If you're paying to come along to this show you're expecting the full experience, yet you don't quite get it.

After the first half, the audience is invited to vote for their favourite couple of the show but they have to pay to do so. Sure, it's only a 25p charge to text for your winner but I just assumed there would have been some form of voting system included. However, it doesn't seem to be that much of a problem for the Strictly lovers in the arena as they are all quick to vote.

Unsurprisingly after the consistent cheers and pretty decent moves from them, Helen and Kai were the winners of our night, lifting the glitterball to the roar of a loving audience.

Even without being a huge Strictly fan, there's no denying this is a truly entertaining show - a properly fun night out. I did feel as though I was at a scaled-up version of sitting in the TV studio audience so maybe I'll actually give the next series a proper go. I loved the energy, the spectacle and the shared enjoyment throughout the crowd. Everyone was there to have a good time and it's exactly what they got. Grab yourself a ticket before it's over this weekend and get your fill of sparkles, show-stopping routines and sheer fabulous-ness. Even Craig would give this show a nine, at least.

Strictly Come Dancing: The Live Tour is now running at The O2 Arena. Performances are at 2:30pm and 7:30pm on Saturday February 4 and 1:30pm and 6:30pm on Sunday February 5. You can purchase tickets here.

They will join Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola, Angela Rippon and Kai Widdrington and Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin to complete the sensational line-up of participants from the current series of the BBC’s hit Saturday and Sunday night show who will twirl across the UK for 30 sparkle-filled shows kicking off in January 2024.

Angela Scanlon said:   “I could never have imagined just how much fun Strictly Come Dancing would be. I’m thrilled to get the opportunity to continue our amazing journey next year, performing in literal arenas with Carlos and all the gang! Let’s go!”

Annabel Croft said: “I’m used to interviewing people in front of very large crowds, but to dance in arenas for many thousands of people is going to be something else. Dancing every week on the TV show has been such a joy, so I can't wait for the magic of the tour and to experience it with my new tour partner, Graziano."

Bobby Brazier said: “I love dancing and I love Strictly, so what better way to continue this brilliant experience than on the live tour! I've heard from Dianne what a blast everyone has on the road, so I can’t wait to perform with her for those huge arena crowds next year.”

Krishnan Guru-Murthy said: “My whole time on Strictly has been life-changing. So the chance to keep going, take on another challenge and go on tour, this time with a new dance partner in Jowita, is irresistible. I can't wait!”

The couples will be joined on tour by magnificent professional dancers Nadiya Bychkova, Karen Hauer, Katya Jones, Neil Jones, Robbie Kmetoni, Jake Leigh and Nancy Xu, bringing with them even more glitz and glamour to this supersized live show.

And not forgetting the legendary Strictly TV judges Shirley Ballas, Anton Du Beke and Craig Revel Horwood who are returning to their judging seats and tour host, BBC Two’s Strictly - It Takes Two’s Janette Manrara.

The 2024 tour opens at Birmingham’s Utilita Arena on 19 January, then the glitz, the glamour and the sequins - together with the all-important celebrity contestants and their professional dancer partners - will travel to some of the UK’s biggest entertainment venues leaving a trail of glitter in their wake: Utilita Arena Sheffield, Utilita Arena Newcastle, OVO Hydro Glasgow, M&S Bank Arena Liverpool, First Direct Arena Leeds, AO Arena Manchester, Motorpoint Arena Nottingham and finally The O2 in London, culminating on 11 February.

The tour judges will of course provide their invaluable wisdom, advice, and scores at each performance - we couldn’t stop them if we tried - but the ultimate power lies with the audience.

STRICTLY COME DANCING THE LIVE TOUR is produced by Stage Entertainment UK and Phil McIntyre Live, with BBC Studios.

Strictly to sign A-list couple Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz?

Strictly Come Dancing is keen to get a married couple on the show, and Brooklyn Beckham could be in the running!

Brooklyn Beckham in a black suit and Nicola Peltz in a white dress at an event

The lineup for Strictly Come Dancing 2024 has not yet been revealed, but sources suggest that Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz could be joining the show.

A source reportedly told The Sun : "Brooklyn and Nicola are very glam and perfectly fit the profile for the kind of celebs who bosses are after. They’d love to get Brooklyn on the show as he is immediately recognizable to Strictly ’s core audience."

They went on to explain why bosses might want the two of them, and not just one, telling the site: "Nicola would be brilliant, but she’s still not very well known [in the UK] despite being the daughter-in-law of our most famous celebrity couple. So to get them on the same show, competing against each other — that would be a producer’s dream."

Elsewhere, another source focused on Nicola told The Sun: "Nicola is known in the US but over in the UK she’s at the bottom of the publicity pecking order in Brooklyn’s famous family.

"She has a team behind her who are keen on boosting her profile over here — and Brooklyn is right behind her. Strictly has been mooted as the perfect show for Nicola.

According to their report, "bosses are in the early stages of preliminary meetings", and they have not yet reached out to any potential names who could be joining the Strictly Come Dancing 2024 line-up.

We've had plenty of firsts for Strictly in recent years, with TV presenter Zara McDermott becoming the first Love Island star to take part , and former Come Dancing presenter Angela Rippon joining at the age of 79 .

It is too early to know who'll be taking to the dancefloor in the autumn, we should start to learn more about this year's competition over the coming months. Strictly Come Dancing usually returns in September.

Strictly Come Dancing airs on BBC One and iPlayer , with previous seasons available to watch on demand.

BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Layton Williams says 'bigger, better and brighter' in rare glimpse inside revamped home

L ayton Williams has surprised fans by giving them a glimpse inside his gorgeous home. The actor and West End star has spent a lot of time away from his abode of late after taking part in the Strictly Come Dancing Live tour.

The 2023 finalist of the BBC One dance contest missed out on lifting the coveted Glitterball trophy back in December when he made it to the final of the competition with professional dance partner Nikita Kuzmin.

The pair faced Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola and Bobby Brazier and Dianne Buswell in the spectacular final of the BBC One dance show on December 16. Despite Layton and Nikita emerging top of the leaderboard with a string of perfect scores from the judges, it was former Coronation Street star Ellie who emerged victorious alongside professional pro Vito following the public vote.

But despite not winning the competition, Layton and Nikita made up for it on the show's live tour which saw them reunite with a number of their Strictly 2023 co-stars

After three weeks of performing in nine different cities up and down the country, the string of live shows came to an end earlier this month at London's O2 Arena and backstage, with Layton and Nikita getting their 19th win of the tour which saw audience members vote for their winners during each show.

And now, Layton has got a revamped home to place his tour Glitterball trophy in. Taking to Instagram, the Bury-born star revealed snaps of the newly decorated kitchen and living area with pink ceilings as well as pink walls in the hallway leading to another part of the home.

"Bigger, better & brighter..." Layton started the caption of his post to his 236,000 followers before revealing the brands he'd worked with as part of the ad. The 29-year-old continued: "Step into my newly redecorated London flat immersed with pattern and colour.

"Featuring wallpapers from the @christopherjohnrogers x @farrowandball Carte Blanche collection, as well as colours from the range." He added: "Thank you @farrowandballwallpaper & @paddy_od_1 for helping reflect my style and personality."

And it didn't take long for the comments section to start filling up. Strictly 2023 co-star Angela Scanlon said: "Oh she’s GORGE," while the series winner Ellie Leach replied: "omg stunning." Former Love Island star Gabby Dawn Allen posted: "OMG!!!! It looks like a hotel room wtf!!" Big Brother host AJ Odudu wrote: "How cute!!!"

@perryobree123 commented: "Looks beautiful!" @rachmayalopez shared: "This is so so beautiful Layton!!" @sarahp_official typed: "Oh wow I love this." @breedaburke67 gushed: "Wow Layton, it was fab before but just stunning now! Love the hall." @laratjuhhhha dded: "SIR STOP THIS IS TOO GORGEOUS."
