35007 band tour

35007 is the code name for a projectile with a unique sound. Ranging from firm grooves drenched in multiple layers of sound and hypnotic riffs to flowing soundscapes, their music is a fine combination of past and future in influences and technique. This sound has been captured on the very well-received albums “Especially for You” – 1994 (remastered and re-released in ’99) and “35007” – 1997, released exactly 50 years after Chuck Yeager’s first sonic boom. These albums contain instrumental as well as tracks with vocals. The 10″/CDM “Sea of Tranquillity” – 2001, marked the appearance of 35007 MARK IV as well as the shift to even more hypnotic instrumental terrain. It goes beyond the conventional rock formula and astonished critics and audience. It was followed in 2002 by the fully instrumental sound track “Liquid”, which continued to expand the boundaries of their sonic universe. The album contains 4 voluminous tracks which take the listener on a surprising and sometimes unexpected journey.

On their last release, “Phase V”, 35007 continue the fully instrumental journey, this time leading into more abstract terrain, led by the roman philosopher Boethius (480-526) who stated that “music is mathematics made audible”. With the digit 5 hovering predominantly, the album is about numbers and sounds. No words, no images. The album has already been nicknamed “songs for the blind”, appropriately “visualized” by the minimal and sensuous artwork. Without the benefit of vision, the ears seem to work much better.

Phase V is an intermediate state. No physical manifestation is to be expected in the foreseeable future, only time will tell what the next phase will be.

Be prepared, as 35007 catapults your head into the next dimension. 35007 is a state of mind.

Go beneath the streets on this tour of the spectacular, mind-bending Moscow Metro! Be awed by architecture and spot the Propaganda , then hear soviet stories from a local in the know. Finish it all up above ground, looking up to Stalins skyscrapers, and get the inside scoop on whats gone on behind those walls.

Know More about this tour

We begin our Moscow tour beneath the city, exploring the underground palace of the Moscow Metro. From the Square of Revolution station, famous for its huge statues of soviet people (an armed soldier, a farmer with a rooster, a warrior, and more), we’ll move onto some of the most significant stations, where impressive mosaics, columns, and chandeliers will boggle your eyes! Moreover, these stations reveal a big part of soviet reality — the walls depict plenty of Propaganda , with party leaders looking down from images on the walls. Your local guide will share personal stories of his/her family from USSR times, giving you insight into Russia’s complicated past and present. Then we’re coming back up to street level, where we’ll take a break and refuel with some Russian fast food: traditional pancakes, called bliny. And then, stomachs satiated, we are ready to move forward! We’ll take the eco-friendly electric trolleybus, with a route along the Moscow Garden Ring. Used mainly by Russian babushkas(grannies) during the day, the trolleybus hits peak hours in the mornings and evenings, when many locals use it going to and from their days. Our first stop will be the Aviator’s House, one of Stalin’s Seven Sisters, followed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs — and you’ll hear the legends of what has gone on inside the walls. Throughout your Moscow tour, you’ll learn curious facts from soviet history while seeing how Russia exists now, 25 years after the USSR.

This tour exceeded our expectations. Nikolai (Nick), our tour guide, was very knowledgeable, thorough, and has a great personality. He didn't take shortcuts and really covered everything that was on the agenda in great detail. We saw beautiful metro stations and learned the history behind them, including many of the murals and designs.

We did the tour with Anna her knowledge and understanding of the History surrounding the metro brought the tour alive. Well done Anna!

Things To Do

Music + concerts, music + concerts | california ska-punk band mad caddies drop a new record this week, announce several local shows, the six-piece band from solvang will release its latest album, "arrows room 117," ahead of tour stops in los angeles, san diego and anaheim..

35007 band tour

After entertaining the crowds at the reggae-driven Cali Vibes festival in Long Beach back in February, ska and punk rock veterans Mad Caddies are set to return to the area on tour in May with a whole lot of brand new songs to perform.

“I’m feeling really good about where we’re at. We just can’t stop smiling and it’s contagious and everyone sees it. Our whole mission statement is we came here to throw a dance party,” said Chuck Robertson, guitarist-vocalist and founding member of the Solvang-born band.

The six piece band, which formed in 1995, have several local shows scheduled in the coming months. They’re heading out on tour in support of the new album, “Arrows Room 117,” which comes out on Friday, March 15.

The tour will bring them to the Echoplex in Los Angeles on Thursday, May 2, then to the Holding Company in San Diego on Saturday, May 18. They’ll also spearhead the 1st Annual Caddielina Wine Mixer at House of Blues Anaheim on Sunday, May 19 alongside The Sidekicks, Chase Long Beach, La Pobreska, 8 Kalacas and more. Mad Caddies are playing a date on the Punk in Drublic Festival in San Pedro , scheduled for Friday, Oct. 4-Sunday, Oct. 6, but the daily schedules have yet to be released. The fest will serve as Los Angeles-based punk band NOFX’s final shows ever .

“We’re going to play a little bit of everything. We do our old-school songs, new songs off the new records. It’s a good time,” Robertson said of the tour.

In its nearly 30-year history, the band has released seven full-length albums, one live album, two EPs and sold more than 500,000 albums total.

“It’s surreal. You look back and think it’s been 30 years and it’s pretty neat to look back and think we’re still doing it. We’ve matured on an organic path. We started off real manic with the hard ska and punk, angry at the world teenage angst, the standard California punk rock vibe,” he said.

“But then we got more into different styles of music, bringing in reggae, Dixieland jazz and rock and some world music aspects. We never wanted to make the same record twice,” Robertson added.

He describes the new album, which is the first since the band’s 2018 release “Punk Rocksteady,” as showcasing pain, love, loss and “the bright light of new beginnings,” with the recognizable Mad Caddies mix of reggae, rock, ska and this time, a little bit of country, too.

“It’s definitely the most personal for me,” he said. “The story of the album is kind of me and my travels through California to see my son up in Lake Tahoe who is about to turn nine.”

The title track was written in room 117 of the motel he stays at when he goes to see his son. But the it’s more about small town drama and gossip rather than his son.

“We come from a small town, Solvang, and I’m still living there. And people in small towns, they talk,” Robertson said.

He also pays homage to his girlfriend in the single “Green Eyes,” a reggae love song sparked by their travels. The catchy groovy cut features accordion by Brian Mann, who has been on records by Oingo Boingo , Kenny Loggins and David Lee Roth.

“What can I say, she’s beautiful and she has green eyes,” he said with a laugh. She was sitting next to him in the car during a phone interview.

The band explores the country music genre with the single “Baby,” which starts off with a very country rock vibe as horns kick in.

“I feel like there’s this old school, Elvis ’70s, vibe to it,” he said. “I listen to everything, country and reggae and rock and indie, folk, hip-hop. So I can’t tell you exactly where that song came from. It’s just kind of a honky tonk, we were just riffing in the studio and we were like, ‘Yeah, that’s cool, let’s do that.’”

The band’s other love song is to their home state of California titled “Palm Trees and Pines.”

“It’s the quintessential California song. We know what our state is and how beautiful it is, but other people in the world think California is just L.A. and San Francisco. But no, we have the palm trees and pines, we got the beautiful forest, the lakes, the rivers, the deserts, we have it all,” he said.

While they’re looking forward to their upcoming show dates, Robertson said the band is still riding high from its set at Cali Vibes, though they were a little worried before hitting the stage.

“It went really well and I was really surprised because we went on at one o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday and I was thinking no one was going to be there,” he recalled. “But it was a really good crowd and everyone was really super cool and my girlfriend and I had a great time watching the other bands.”

Moscow Metro

The Moscow Metro Tour is included in most guided tours’ itineraries. Opened in 1935, under Stalin’s regime, the metro was not only meant to solve transport problems, but also was hailed as “a people’s palace”. Every station you will see during your Moscow metro tour looks like a palace room. There are bright paintings, mosaics, stained glass, bronze statues… Our Moscow metro tour includes the most impressive stations best architects and designers worked at - Ploshchad Revolutsii, Mayakovskaya, Komsomolskaya, Kievskaya, Novoslobodskaya and some others.

What is the kremlin in russia?

The guide will not only help you navigate the metro, but will also provide you with fascinating background tales for the images you see and a history of each station.

And there some stories to be told during the Moscow metro tour! The deepest station - Park Pobedy - is 84 metres under the ground with the world longest escalator of 140 meters. Parts of the so-called Metro-2, a secret strategic system of underground tunnels, was used for its construction.

During the Second World War the metro itself became a strategic asset: it was turned into the city's biggest bomb-shelter and one of the stations even became a library. 217 children were born here in 1941-1942! The metro is the most effective means of transport in the capital.

There are almost 200 stations 196 at the moment and trains run every 90 seconds! The guide of your Moscow metro tour can explain to you how to buy tickets and find your way if you plan to get around by yourself.

Fun facts from our Moscow Metro Tours:

From the very first days of its existence, the Moscow Metro was the object of civil defense, used as a bomb shelter, and designed as a defense for a possible attack on the Soviet Union.

At a depth of 50 to 120 meters lies the second, the coded system of Metro-2 of Moscow subway, which is equipped with everything you need, from food storage to the nuclear button.

According to some sources, the total length of Metro-2 reaches over 150 kilometers.

The Museum was opened on Sportivnaya metro station on November 6, 1967. It features the most interesting models of trains and stations.

Coffee Ring

The first scheme of Moscow Metro looked like a bunch of separate lines. Listen to a myth about Joseph Stalin and the main brown line of Moscow Metro.

Zodiac Metro

According to some astrologers, each of the 12 stops of the Moscow Ring Line corresponds to a particular sign of the zodiac and divides the city into astrological sector.

Astrologers believe that being in a particular zadiac sector of Moscow for a long time, you attract certain energy and events into your life.

Paleontological finds

Red marble walls of some of the Metro stations hide in themselves petrified inhabitants of ancient seas. Try and find some!

  • Every day each car in  Moscow metro passes  more than 600 km, which is the distance from Moscow to St. Petersburg.
  • Moscow subway system is the  5th in the intensity  of use (after the subways of Beijing, Tokyo, Seoul and Shanghai).

Taylor swift and travis kelce paint the town after singapore concert, taylor & travis time to chill ... night out on town after singapore concert, 503 3/9/2024 9:27 am pt.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are officially in their vacay era -- something the lovebirds eased into with a night of celebrating in Singapore with her band.

OMG!! Travis SPOTTED with Taylor On Golf Kart After Concert | Travis Kelce in Singapore pic.twitter.com/Wr1ChQgjkL — Breakingnews (@janetking851241) March 9, 2024 @janetking851241

The couple looked to be having a casual date night near a mall, where some fans spotted them getting escorted around the grounds in a golf cart. One of the Swifties shouted, "Congrats, Travis" ... perhaps referring to his Super Bowl victory last month -- but, more likely, giving the NFL star props for dating Taylor!

Traylor's been busy as ever since he touched down in Singapore to catch her last 2 shows there. They also did dinner at a fancy Japanese restaurant called KOMA, where they were joined by some of her bandmates.

The Singapore shows wrapped up the Southeast Asia leg of her "Eras" world tour, and now she has a couple months free to travel and/or chill out with her BF ... who's also in off-season vacay mode.

Wherever they go, they're sure to draw tons of attention -- even as they walked through an apparently empty mall, someone spotted them as they hugged and walked hand-in-hand.

As we reported, Travis was having the time of his life at TayTay's concert the previous night. He and his buddies were dancing their asses off in a stadium luxury suite ... and, later, he was waiting for her with a hug and kiss as soon as she ran off the stage.

Taylor's next scheduled show isn't until May, in Paris, so they've got time to do whatever the hell they choose.

This marks the first time in their relationship that they can both be off-the-clock -- it will be interesting to see what they do with the time ... and how it impacts their relationship.

Music | power outages shut down service on two bart lines, music | band behind best-selling christian song of all time visits northern california, mercyme brings latest tour to stockton.

MercyMe has delivered so many great songs over the decades.

The short list would include such numbers as “Word of God Speak,” “Here with Me,” “Bring the Rain,” “All of Creation,” “Beautiful,” “Even If” and “Best News Ever.”

Despite the plethora of popular offerings — both old and new — MercyMe remains by far best known for its first hit single from way back in 2001.

And there’s a very good reason for that, given that the uplifting anthem in question — the multiplatinum “I Can Only Imagine” — reportedly now stands as the best-selling Christian song of all time.

The number gained even wider exposure when it was prominently featured in the incredibly popular 2018 biopic film of the same name, which was based on MercyMe singer Bart Millard’s life and centered on the story behind the song.

Nearly a quarter century after the song was first released, “I Can Only Imagine” remains as powerful as ever — and one of the many reasons why MercyMe is well worth seeing in concert.

The Oklahoma outfit is hitting the road to support its latest album, “Always Only Jesus,” and performs March 24 at Adventist Health Arena in Stockton. Showtime is 7 p.m. and tickets start at $25, ticketmaster.com . The Newsboys and David Leonard are also on the bill.

Looking for the latest on where to buy Bruce Springsteen tickets for his new 2024 tour? We have all the details on upcoming dates and venues across the US, Canada, and Europe. Now the tour is here, many reseller prices have started to come down.

Springsteen had to cancel the tour with the E Street Band late last year due to coming down with peptic ulcer disease. Those dates have been rearranged, with a range of US dates newly fitted before and after the planned European tour dates. We've updated the table below with the latest information and the cheapest starting prices we've seen tickets listed. On the plus side, we've seen most prices drop.

Springsteen's concert tour includes The Boss performing songs from classic and new albums alike. The setlist so far has included familiar tracks such as "Out in the Street," "No Surrender," and "Letter to You." The members of the E Street Band playing with Bruce include guitarist Steven Van Zandt, drummer Mike Weinberg, bassist Garry Tallent, pianist Roy Bittan, guitarist Nils Lofgren, and vocalist Patti Scialfa.

If you're aiming to buy Bruce Springsteen tickets for the last leg of his 18th headlining tour, here's a breakdown of the remaining tour schedule, purchasing details, and ticket prices. Or you can browse at your leisure the remaining tickets available through StubHub and Vivid Seats .

Bruce Springsteen 2024 tour schedule

The tour dates for Bruce Springsteen resume in March for the US before moving to Europe in May. All concert times are listed for local time zones. We've added links to the cheapest (at the time of writing) ticket site for the remaining tickets in the 'Prices from' column.

How to buy tickets for Bruce Springsteen's 2024 concert tour

You can buy tickets for Bruce Springsteen's 2024 tour online through Ticketmaste r for original tickets, though only a limited number remain for each location. However, ticket prices are generally higher for original tickets than they are on verified resale platforms like StubHub and Vivid Seats .

For standard ticket sales, the lowest prices on StubHub range from $52 to $450 for an individual ticket, depending on location. Vivid Seats offers a similar price range for Bruce Springsteen's concert tour, with cheaper tickets ranging from about $70 to $527 depending on the date and location.

How much are Bruce Springsteen tickets?

Since the initial Verified Fan sale on Ticketmaster is long over, prices for original tickets have risen due to demand. The cost of original Bruce Springsteen tickets varies depending on location and date.

For example, the cheapest cost for a standard ticket at Springsteen's Rutherford, New Jersey concert back in August last year was $249.50. Meanwhile, the lowest standard price on Ticketmaster for an original ticket at his Columbus, Ohio, show on September 21 is $252.50. Original VIP tickets are even more limited, with some of the cheaper options beginning at $212.50.

Original prices typically come in much higher than resale prices for Bruce Springsteen concerts. Many cheaper tickets are resales for nearer tour dates, suggesting you might find the best prices when it gets closer to the concert date.

Artists like Sam Fender, Fantastic Negrito, The White Buffalo, The Chicks, Frank Turner, and Tash Sultana opened for Bruce Springsteen on previous tour dates last year.

Yes, Bruce Springsteen tour tickets will also be available for European dates in May, including Italy, France, Netherlands, and more. He'll return to the US for a few catch-up dates in August before heading north to Canada at the end of October and through November.

At their first show together in Tampa, Florida, the two rock legends surprised the crowd by joining each other for The Police’s “Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic” and Joel’s “Big Man on Mulberry Street.”

According to the fan-recorded  videos , Sting played his headlining set first, which Joel introduced and then stayed on stage so they could play his opening song together.

“I saw this guy when he came with his band to the States and I was blown away when I saw him — this was in the ‘70s,” the “Piano Man” singer said while introducing the rocker. “I thought he was great then and I think he’s great now. He’s one of my favorite musicians of all time. Please welcome Sting.”
