I've seen Craig 2 times at Eddie's Attic. Both were fantastic. Eddie's Attic is a "listening room" where acoustic sets are played in an intimate setting. No flashy lights, just uninterrupted music. Craig's voice & talent on the piano & guitar are unparalleled. Highly recommend seeing Craig in a small intimate setting or on a big stage. He really connects with the audience.

He had a lot of energy. He did not sing long—35 minutes. But he was constantly trying to engage the audience. I think as more of his songs become known he will do very well. Nice voice.

Craig was AMAZING at Eddie's Attic. This was not a full band set - he was the only one on the stage with his guitar & keyboard. His vocals were unreal, hitting every note with a full & clear sound. Craig was responsive to the small audience in this intimate setting. He played a few of his top hits, a Christmas carol, and a new unreleased song off his upcoming album. Overall - 10/10.

Having smashed the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and hot from shredding 30 stages in 30 sold-out venues (and just as many slopes) at the world’s most successful sport/comedy fusion, the Snowed In Comedy Tour, CRAIG CAMPBELL is raring to melt audience’s hearts in his home away from the snowy mountains, Great Britain, with his inspiring new show Don’t Look Down. Playing at theatres nationwide, CRAIG will embark on a 38-date tour on the 5 th March, ending with a night at London’s Leicester Square Theatre on 18 th June.

Currently acting as support on FRANKIE BOYLE’s national tour for the third time, CRAIG is a formidable stand-up and one of the most charismatic and inventive performers around. He has performed on Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow (BBC One), Russell Howard’s Good News (BBC Three) and was responsible for easing the contractions of an expectant mother who laughed so hard at his performance on Dave’s One Night Stand (Dave) – which detailed an encounter with a badger – that her waters broke. Most recently CRAIG was a hit on ALAN DAVIES’ As Yet Untitled (Dave). Born in Canada, CRAIG has been a headline guest on numerous Canadian TV shows including Jim Carrey Live , The Dennis Miller Show and Just for Laughs and hosted the legendary Ed’s Night Party . In 2013, CRAIG recorded a digital-only release of his Channel 4 DVD Craig Campbell Live at the prestigious London Bloomsbury Theatre.

In addition to this third solo stand-up tour, CRAIG regularly performs all over the world from New Zealand to Iceland including such exotic locations as Kazakhstan and Vietnam (proudly Vietnam’s first ever stand-up). He is a firm fringe favourite having made his Edinburgh debut alongside TONY LAW and DAN ANTOPOLSKI as part of comedy trio The Dinks which achieved great critical and box office success, leading to an invitation to perform in the Best Of Edinburgh programme in New York.  He has supported RICH HALL on his international tour and has had three successful solo shows in Edinburgh.  In 2012, and after a 15 year break, CRAIG and his fellow Canadian comedians STEWART FRANCIS and GLENN WOOL took the Edinburgh Fringe by storm with the reprisal of their critically acclaimed show, Return of the Lumberjacks .

Internationally acclaimed stand-up Craig Campbell , who recently supported Frankie Boyle on his 120 date tour and has appeared on shows like Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow , is to embark on his first UK tour later this month. We caught up with Craig for a quick chat...

'Ello Craig. You're Canadian (in case you didn't know), but you now spend much of your time in England. What's so great about the UK?

It's got the most awesome, voracious comedy audiences on the planet, nuff said.

Nice answer. So how come you've picked Devon for your UK home?

Bangin' a local!

Ha ha. Is there any noticeable difference between Canadian and UK audiences?

The blood alcohol level, certainly.

You've been supporting Frankie Boyle on his massive tour, how was that?

38 kinds of wicked! I'm the luckiest guy on the planet and the tour fucking rocked!

Having spent a bit of time with Frankie we'd be interested to hear what your thoughts are on his controversial Channel 4 sketch show? Did he go too far?

I haven't owned a TV for 13 years, as I'm too busy to care about what's on it!

Is it true you toured Kazakhstan a few years back?

True. It was startling to realise I'd been mis-using the word 'insane' my entire life. The most normal thing I witnessed in ten days was the consumption of horse. It's like what would have happened to New York if the Ghostbusters hadn't been successful, 'cats and dogs living together' etc. Their national airline is SCAT, nuff said. Talking of tours, you're heading off on your first tour of the UK later this month. Are you looking forward to it?

Like a kid waiting for a new bicycle, I can't wait to rip the pedals off this f'in thing!

How much involvement did you have in choosing the itinerary? In April you're performing in the highlands of Scotland one night, then the next day you have to be over 500 miles away in Brighton. Royal Tunbridge Wells is also one of the dates on the tour... are you going to dress up a bit smarter for that one?

For a guy who did a Saturday show in Copenhagen to a Monday show in Tiverton by motorcycle last September, the Highlands to Brighton will be the proverbial piece'o piss!

Craig Campbell is set to release his powerful new single, “by God,” this Friday, February 25.

Craig Campbell is set to release his powerful new single, "by God," this Friday, February 25, 2022, and today the neo-traditional country singer and songwriter announced the " Craig Campbell Tour, by God."

The 11-city tour kicks off March 4 in Franklin, OH, and the first leg wraps in Indianapolis April 9. Special guest Styles Haury will join Campbell on the first four dates.

"I can't wait to hit the road on this 'by God' tour and introduce Styles to a whole bunch of people," said Craig, who first met Styles through a mutual friend. "We became instant buds, and I became an instant fan. This cat's the real deal - great songwriter with an amazing voice. People are gonna love this guy."

Craig wrote "by God" with Thomas Archer and Jordan Walker, and the single can be pre-saved/added here through his Grindstone Records label.

In a world fueled by the smoke and mirror act of overnight success, Campbell has long been admired for his patience and persistence on the road less travelled. A consistent balancing act of traditional values and modern industry trends, Campbell is also considered by many to be one of the most talented yet under the radar stars, across all genres.

The magic of the keys brought him his hunger for music as a child. The good ole' down home boy grew up playing his mother's piano and singing in church. After graduating high school, he took a job as a corrections officer in his hometown of Lyons, Georgia. But music never left his side. Taking a cue from the sounds of classic country and idols like Travis Tritt and Randy Travis , Campbell started a band and played local and national bar gigs. When the guitar player quit, Campbell took that as a sign to chase his dreams all the way to Nashville, Tennessee.

Starting in 2002, the young hopeful spent the next several years paying his dues as a demo singer by day and Lower Broadway gigger by night. He connected with fellow South Georgia native Luke Bryan and started touring as his keyboard player. A year and a half long keyboard stint with Tracy Byrd soon followed, and he took over as bandleader down at The Stage on Tuesday nights on his non-touring days.

His smooth chops and hot blooded stage presence soon caught the eye of industry execs and in 2009, Campbell signed his first record deal.

His debut single, "Family Man," hit the Billboard top 15 in 2011. "Outta My Head" also cracked the top 15, catchy tune "Fish" garnered more than 10 million demand streams. His 2014 breakout hit "Keep Them Kisses Comin'" was on its way up the charts when Campbell got the unexpected news that his label had closed. He and his devoted team continued to press radio stations around the country, so much so that the single ended an impressive run well inside the Top 10, which is unheard of for a song with no financial backing.

He signed with Red Bow Records, a division of the Broken Bow umbrella, and "Tomorrow Tonight" made it into the top 40, followed by perhaps his most poignant and well-known work to date, "Outskirts of Heaven." "Outskirts" showcased Campbell's vulnerability and deep rooted faith and was praised by Rolling Stone and Taste of Country, among others.

The impact of "Outskirts" prompted media appearances and memorable performances at nationally televised NFL games, the TODAY show, CMA Fest, and the Grand Ole Opry, the latter of which he has made over 50 appearances to date. And in a full circle moment, the down home Georgia boy reunited with buddy Luke Bryan on his highly successful 2017 Huntin', Fishin', and Lovin' Every Day Tour.

In the summer of 2018, Campbell released his first new music in five years with his "See You Try" EP on Broken Bow. The title track became an instant crowd pleaser with its confident, flirty lyrics and boot stompin' melody. The EP also found a home for both an electric and acoustic version of "Outskirts of Heaven." By August of 2018, Campbell and Broken Bow had mutually parted ways. After a two-year break, he came back last year with the highly anticipated single, "It's About Time."
