Fresh off of his sophomore album release this past April, rapper Future announced that he would be headlining the #HonestTour in various cities across the United States, aptly named for his album of the same title, Honest. Of these tour dates, June 10th, 2014 would be hitting Charlotte, NC at Amos’ Southend. Not only that, but up and coming rapper Que (known for his street anthem “OG Bobby Johnson”) and crossover sensation Rico Love would be his supporting acts. For those who might not know who exactly Future is, he’s an Atlanta, GA native who managed to make a name for himself by flooding the streets with projects throughout 2010-2012 that included the Streetz Calling and Astronaut Status mixtapes, which really grabbed the attention of hip-hop followers nationwide. On top of that, Future’s unique sound which encompasses his ability to rap as well as sing (albeit auto-tuned) have given him a leg up on the competition. Once he started to get the attention that he rightly deserved, he capitalized on it by releasing notable singles including “Tony Montana” and “Same Damn Time” which subsequently made it onto his debut album, Pluto. In addition to that, Future became arguably the best “hook” artist in the hip-hop/rap genre and further promoted himself by hopping on YC’s hit song “Racks“, which turned into a hit almost overnight – it now has 18+ million views. Since that point, things for Future have snowballed into mainstream success and now it’s almost impossible to not hear his voice on the radio. This evening also marked the third time in the past two years that Future has performed in Charlotte. He co-headlined the Power 98 SummerFest in August of 2012 at the Uptown Amphitheatre with Ace Hood, Chief Keef & Travis Porter. More recently, he opened for Drake alongside Miguel on the Toronto rapper’s Would You Like a Tour? at Time Warner Cable Arena. After the standard milling around and house music prior to anyone performing, things started to kick off at around 8:15-8:30pm with Rico Love. He was on stage for roughly 20-25 minutes and performed, among other songs, “B*tches Be Like”, Usher’s “There Goes My Baby” (which he wrote), and “What You Saying” before capping things off with his most recent hit, “They Don’t Know“, which essentially turned the entire venue into one big sing-a-long session. The crowd was really starting to get warmed up at this point and undoubtedly would have gotten out of control had Que come on to perform his trunk-rattling hit “OG Bobby Johnson“. Unfortunately, he was MIA and never made an appearance. Therefore, another session of house music began between acts that lasted for roughly 30 minutes or so before the main attraction hit the stage. But my oh my, was it worth it. The lights dimmed, smoke covered the stage. It was time. TURN UP TIME. In less than 30 seconds, Future transformed an otherwise mild crowd into a loosely contained riot, which I was at the forefront of. The first song Future performed was “Chosen One”, off of the FBG: The Movie mixtape. From there, the Atlanta native continued to lay down hit after hit as the audience ascended to Pluto, then Mars, at the same damn time. All things considered, this night proved to be a success and Future yet again reiterated why he was a force to be reckoned with in the hip-hop industry. If you somehow managed to miss him last night, you’re not entirely out of luck. Future will be performing tonight at the House of Blues in Myrtle Beach if you’re willing to make a drive. It will be well worth your time and he’ll undoubtedly crush the stage, but hey, I’m just being #Honest.

I saw Future perform for the first time at the Fillmore in Charlotte, NC last year in March. If always said anytime he comes to Charlotte to perform I WILL BE THERE. My son and I attended the Nobody safe tour on Sunday here in Charlotte and he put on a HELLUVA SHOW, and his DJ, Esco, OMG. He knows how to get a crowd CRUNK. I love them both. I CAN'T EXPRESS IT BUT IF HE WAS TO COME BACK THIS YEAR I WILL GO SEE HIM AGAIN. We really enjoyed the concert. I'm a die hard Future fan and so is my son. I love future and his music. I feel a lot of lyrics. One if my dreams or wishes is to meet Future and do Esco. They are so HElluva, but the two of them together is like launching a bomb. I'm A FUTURE FREEBANDZ FAN 4 LIFE. I LOVE ME SOME FUTURE

Security was very poorly executed.I get that in the Mosh Pit there will be a degree of pushing but hair pulling, people elbowing down to the ground, nails ripped off, earrings ripped out is NOT ok just to push me away from the front where I was.I then decided to move to the back and then there were people fighting, countless people smoking weed which made me sick yet security just walked by.In fact at one point one of the Show Sec security (blonde girl) shoved past me nearly knocking me off my feet!I will never ever attend this Venue ever again, absoulutely awful and a traumitising experience to say the least to be honest very horrible experience!

Yo I had so much fun at this show!!!! And they hooked Future's stage stuff up nice!! With the lights and smoke and the DJ!!! It was also so cool how he had the confetti come down from the ceiling!! Ty Dolla Sign had a nice performance and so did the new music artist from Dreamchaser Records!!! Future himself killed it!!! Hot performance!!! Like I said I really enjoyed myself!! Hot Show and I can't wait till he comes back here to Philly to do another show!!! And i just want to say that the Fillmore is a nice place that was my first time there and I hope that they keep bringing talented artist there !! Enjoy your day!! God Bless

This was the worst show I have been to by far. I go to a lot of concerts and I am pretty sure these good reviews come from hypebeasts who suck dick for artists like future. To back up my claim, Future would change the song while in the middle of rapping another, he would constantly walk off stage for minutes at a time, not even playing his own music while he was off, the audio was off entirely. The most I heard a song play was about a minute and he would change songs before the beat even dropped sometimes. Good thing I got my ticket as a gift otherwise it would have been a complete waste of money. Do not go to these shows.

It was a damn good concert. Im glad i went. First ty $dolla sign came out and did a decent show but it was only 30 minutes. Some songs he only singed past of it.

Next future came out and it was a dope show. It had some and mirrors and great effects to make it better. He preformed all his old hits first then took a 5 minute break and did his new hits. He preformed alot of songs great show.

Future was supposed to be Nicki Minaj’s Supporting act for her 11th March 2019 show but he did not appear to be there and there was no email telling me otherwise. I am upset by this as there should of been some recognition of this before or at least during the show.

alysha-marwaha’s profile image

this concert was really good, except the fact that future appeared only for around half an hour. There was no problem at all, maybe just when one of the singer's singing was kind off boring.

In general we spent a pretty nice moment there

Louis Tomlinson “FAITH IN THE FUTURE WORLD TOUR 2023” June 13 AT BMO Pavilion

Posted on Nov 10, 2022 by Julie Dieckelman

TICKETS ON SALE TOMORROW AT 9AM CST

New single “silver tongues” out now listen here, highly anticipated sophomore album faith in the future out tomorrow - preorder here.

(November 10, 2022) - Today, Louis Tomlinson announced the North American Tour dates for his headlining world tour in addition to his recently announced UK and European Arena tour for 2023. The “Faith In The Future World Tour” tour will span across North America from May to July and include shows at the BMO Pavilion in Milwaukee on June 13, the iconic Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, Forest Hills Stadium in New York City, Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado and more before bringing the singer-songwriter to Europe from August to November next year including a date at London's O2 Arena. See below for the full tour routing.

Tickets go on sale FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 11, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. CST at Ticketmaster.com and in person at the box office.

Yesterday, Louis Tomlinson unveiled one final taste of his upcoming album with the release of 'Silver Tongues' - listen here. 'Silver Tongues' is a rousing earworm, bursting at the seams with joyful nostalgic energy. Written with Joe Cross (Lana Del Ray, Courteeners) and Theo Hutchcraft from Hurts, the track is another bold step forward sonically for Louis."Silver Tongues’ is probably the song I'm most proud of on the record”, says Louis.

This Friday sees the release of Louis's long awaited second album 'Faith In The Future'. The title epitomizes Louis's optimistic worldview, producing a collection of songs designed for the live environment. After spending the first portion of his adult life working 100 miles per hour, Louis reveled in taking his time to make sure he got his sophomore album right. He's made Faith In The Future on his watch, and collaborators include Mike Crossey (The 1975, Wolf Alice), Rob Harvey, Dan Grech (The Killers, The Vaccines, Halsey), Nico Rebscher (Alice Merton) and the aforementioned Joe Cross and Theo Hutchcraft.

In celebration of the new album, Louis will perform “Silver Tongues” on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon tomorrow on NBC at 11:35pm ET/10:35pm CT. He will also celebrate album release with a special, one-night only, sold out show tomorrow night at New York City’s Irving Plaza.

Featuring both the anthemic first single 'Bigger Than Me' and indie punk fan favorite 'Out Of My System', the album begins in emphatic style with the pounding drums of 'The Greatest', which Tomlinson says is a celebration of the relationship has amassed with his avid fanbase. Other stand out tracks include indie floor-filler, 'Written All Over Your Face', blissful roof-down summer anthem, 'Lucky Again', tearjerkers 'Angels Fly' and 'Holding On To Heartache', alongside the retrospective 'Common People', a beautiful and poignant homage to his hometown Doncaster.

There's a delicate balance to 'Faith In The Future', with Louis exhibiting the full capability of his talents whilst never refraining from sounding unapologetically like him for a nanosecond. 'All This Time' sees Louis dip his toes back into dance music, whilst 'She Is Beauty We Are World Class' is a full-blown dance track perfect for an Iberian sunset, yet still feels genuine and honest.

'Walls' was an album Louis needed to get off his chest, but he now has uncompromisingly expanded his wings and evolved.

In 2021, Louis was listed in the Guinness Book Of World Records for breaking the record for the most livestreamed concert by a solo male artist. Louis hosted one of the biggest live stream concert events ever held, selling over 160,000 tickets to fans in over 110 countries and raising funds for several important charities and touring crew affected by the pandemic. Following the huge success of the festival's 2021 debut, August also saw the return of Louis’ highly successful The Away From Home Festival. The one-day event was staged this year at the stunning Marenostrum Fuengirola in Malaga Spain, hosting 18,000 fans and selling out in just 24hrs with a line-up of some of the best new British bands.

The singer has scheduled dates for the North American leg for next summer, slotting 39 shows ahead of the European stretch of concerts he announced last month.

“Really really excited to finally announce the North America tour,” Tomlinson wrote on Twitter. “These songs were created for these moments and I can’t wait to share them with you!”

The North American portion of the Faith in the Future world tour will begin on May 26 in Uncasville, Connecticut, with a show at the Mohegan Sun Arena. Tomlinson will make stops in Toronto, Cincinnati, Columbus, Kansas City, Minneapolis, Seattle, Berkeley, Las Vegas, Dallas, Atlanta, Nashville, Boston, and more. The tour will conclude on July 29 at Forest Hills Stadium in New York.

“It was my first moment of excitement making this record, and where it felt we were on to something which honors the live show,” Tomlinson said in a statement about the latter single. “I realized from doing those live shows what it means to my fans and how everything I do is bigger than me. It’s almost a coming of age for myself and putting opinions about myself to the back of my mind and thinking about what it potentially means for other people.”

IRON MAIDEN Announces 'The Future Past' 2023 European Tour

British heavy metal legends IRON MAIDEN will bring a new tour to Europe in the summer of 2023, including arena shows in the U.K. and Ireland. "The Future Past Tour" will feature previously unperformed songs from the band's most recent studio album, "Senjutsu" , along with a focus on 1986's iconic "Somewhere In Time" record, plus other classic cuts.

Tickets go on sale from Friday, October 14 at 9 a.m. via LiveNation.co.uk. As always, there will be an exclusive pre-sale for IRON MAIDEN fan club members.

IRON MAIDEN founding member and bassist Steve Harris says: "Following the release of our latest album, 'Senjutsu' , we updated the current 'Legacy Of The Beast' tour a little by opening the show with the first three songs from it, with the Japanese Palace stage set. As it doesn't make a lot of sense to repeat this for a 'Senjutsu' album tour, we thought about other options and we've decided to revisit 'Somewhere In Time' as that tour didn't feature in the various retrospective history tours we've played over the years. They were based on our '80s concert videos and sadly we did not film that tour (blame the manager!!). We have had lots of requests from fans over the years for many tracks on it so we are now going to play them, plus, of course, a few others we know you will like! It will also be particularly satisfying to finally get to play some of the more epic tracks on 'Senjutsu' , it's been a long wait! 2023 is going to be an exciting time and we're really looking forward to seeing everyone again in the U.K., Ireland and around Europe”.

IRON MAIDEN manager Rod Smallwood adds: "This combination of the two albums we feel is very exciting. We know fans want to hear those epic cuts on 'Senjutsu' for the first time live and we think that by combining it with an iconic album like 'Somewhere In Time' it will make for another really special tour for fans old and new! Of course, for a new album tour in Europe and the UK we will go back largely to the relative intimacy of arenas and we know fans will be very happy about that too!”

IRON MAIDEN is currently in North America in the final stages of its spectacular "Legacy Of The Beast" world tour, interrupted for two years by COVID-19, with many shows rescheduled twice. The tour actually started in Tallin, Estonia in May 2018, the first of 139 shows in 33 countries. By the last show in Tampa, Florida on October 27, this year the band will have played to over three million fans on this epic world tour.

Support on the U.K. and Ireland tour will be announced at a later date. The shows are:

U.K. and Ireland dates:

Louis Tomlinson Sets Faith In The Future 2023 World Tour Dates

Khushboo Malhotra

Louis Tomlinson has announced a 2023 UK and European tour to support his forthcoming sophomore album Faith In The Future , slated for release on November 11, 2022.

The tour announcement followed the release of Tomlinson’s brand new single called “Out Of My System,” which is the latest preview of his solo album, Faith In The Future . Following the album’s release, he will embark on the massive UK and European arena tour in 2023, running from August to November, including a show at London’s famous venue, The O2.

FAITH IN THE FUTURE WORLD TOUR 2023. UK & EUROPE. I can’t tell you how much the tour this year has done for me so I wanted to get on the road again as soon as I could. I had this tour in mind with every song we wrote on the new album. pic.twitter.com/I3K0huAhw2 — Louis Tomlinson (@Louis_Tomlinson) October 14, 2022

The UK and Europe arena tour announcement is part of his massive plans around the huge 2023 Faith In The Future round-the-world trek, and the fresh dates for other regions, including the USA, Canada, Australia, South America and Asia, are yet to be announced.

The former One Direction turned solo-artist megastar’s jaunt will kick off on August 29 at Barclays Arena in Hamburg, and will take him across the UK and European cities, finally wrapping on November 18 at Resorts World Arena in Birmingham.

Louis Tomlinson

Louis Tomlinson will release his eagerly awaited second album Faith In The Future on November 11, 2022, ahead of the massive 2023 tour. Fans can’t get enough of the new era of uptempo, pop and rock-tinged compositions, both sonically and lyrically, dished up on a sizzling music platter by Louis Tomlinson, as perceived by the release of the album’s lead single, “ Bigger Than Me ,” and the second single, “ Out Of My System ,” which is a whopping rock anthem.

Louis returned to music with the first single from the album, ‘Bigger Than Me’ last month, the first new song from Louis since the release of his million-selling debut solo album ‘Walls’ in 2020. “Bigger Than Me” is an impassioned pop song that has seen plays across Radio 1, Radio 2, Virgin Radio, and more, and headed straight into the US Top 40 Radio.

“I feel like a new artist now,” he says. “It’s taken a while for me to be comfortable on my own, to learn to trust my gut and make sure I get what I want. I feel the most confident I’ve ever been, both as a songwriter and a singer, and the most mature. Of course, I want to be successful, but what matters is what my music means to me and what it means to the fans. That’s the priority. The rest we’ll have to wait and see.” Louis Tomlinson on new album and solo career

In 2021, Louis earned his spot in the Guinness Book Of World Records for breaking the record for the most live-streamed concert by a solo male artist. Louis hosted one of the biggest live-stream concert events ever held, selling over 160,000 tickets to fans in over 110 countries and raising funds for several important charities and touring crew affected by the pandemic.

the future europe tour

Following the enormous success of the festival’s 2021 debut, August also saw the return of Louis’ highly successful The Away From Home Festival. The one-day event, staged earlier this year at the stunning Marenostrum Fuengirola in Malaga, Spain, hosted 18,000 fans and sold out in just 24hrs with a line-up of some of the best new British bands.

It’s the race against time for his massively dedicated and loyal fans to get their hands on tickets. Here’s how to get yours before they all sell out!

How to buy tickets and get pre-sale access?

Tickets are going on presale from October 19. To ensure the strongest chance of getting a Louis Tomlinson tour ticket for 2023, aim to get pre-sale access by pre-ordering the new album. You can pre-order/pre-save the record here .

How much are tour tickets?

While the price of concert tickets will differ based on the city, here’s a general idea about the ticket prices. According to  Ticketmaster , tickets will cost around $39.27 for Denmark tickets and go up to $65.

Here’s an approximate idea of the ticket prices for Louis’ shows across the UK and EU tour leg, with a total of 500,000 tickets to be sold for the first leg of the 2023 Faith In The Future tour.

While the controversy surrounding the obscene concert ticket prices continues to swell along with inflated prices in the secondary re-sell markets, louies aka his fans gushed about the British singer keeping his commitment to making his tour affordable for everyone. The tickets are just as affordable as those of the Louis Tomlinson World Tour (LTWT) even though he’s playing bigger venues and arenas.

Louis Tomlinson is the clear example that it's possible to make and especially KEEP the shows tickets price affordable. It warms my heart to see how much he cares for his fans, how much he works to try and make us all happy. I love him so much. #FaithInTheFuture #LouisTomlinson — jels (@1dxsolosftzayn) October 14, 2022
the fact louis tomlinson announced his eu arena tour with tickets being under £60 literally shows me that it’s possible to make concerts affordable and the fact he himself is vocal about making tickets as cheap as possible restores my faith in the future of live music events — irene (@neonsignshslot) October 14, 2022

Usher continues to expand his  Past Present Future Tour.  The global icon has announced the dates for the European leg.

The second leg of his world tour begins April 1, 2025, at The O2 Arena in London, UK. He will perform three shows before heading to Paris, Amsterdam and Berlin, where he will wrap up his stint on May 1, 2025.

It will mark Usher’s first time touring in Europe — aside from his Paris residency — since 2015’s UR Tour .

“Europe, you ready? After the epic experience at the Super Bowl and the huge demand for shows across North America, I’m happy to announce I’m coming your way as well – for shows in London, Paris, Amsterdam and Berlin,” says Usher. “This tour is both a celebration of the past 30 years and a glimpse into the future. We are just getting started!”

Usher

Usher will kick off the North American leg of his  Past Present Future Tour   Aug. 14 in Atlanta, Georgia, at State Farm Arena. He will play there for three before hitting Washington, D.C., Boston, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Miami, Vancouver and Las Vegas, among other cities. The North American leg will conclude Nov. 11 in Houston, Texas.

Presale tickets will be available for Mastercard cardholders in select cities beginning Tuesday, Feb. 20, at 12 p.m. local time. Tickets go on sale to the general public Thursday, Feb. 22, at 12 p.m. local time.

Usher’s upcoming tour comes on the heels of his headlining performance at the Apple Music Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show .

Past Present Future Tour  will support Usher’s latest album,  Coming Home ,  which he independently released Feb. 9 via mega/gamma. The album includes features from The-Dream , Summer Walker , 21 Savage, H.E.R ., Pheelz , Latto, Burna Boy and Jung Kook.

“ COMING HOME  is an ode to going back to your roots, whatever or wherever that may be,” Usher explained. “I’m COMING HOME to where I’m comfortable in being exactly who I am right now. My hope is that you identify with the new album no matter where you are or what you’re going through, too.”

Usher hasn’t forgotten about his overseas fans. Coming off the momentum of his acclaimed Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show performance, the R&B icon revealed on Tuesday (Feb. 20) that he’ll be heading to Europe in April 2025 with his Past Present Future Tour .

Tickets will be available through Usher’s website as well as Ticketmaster. Mastercard customers are in luck, as they’ll have early access to tickets starting on Tuesday, too.

“This tour is both a celebration of the past 30 years and a glimpse into the future,” Usher said via press release. “We are just getting started!”

According to Usher, “overwhelming demand” convinced him to expand his original U.S. tour and tack on a slew of extra dates to fulfill fans’ cravings to see him hit the stage.

The global trek will kick off in Atlanta on Aug. 14, and will make stops in D.C., Boston, Philadelphia, Toronto, Brooklyn, Los Angeles, Toronto and more before wrapping up the North American leg in Houston with a triumvirate of shows to close out November.

Before rocking the Super Bowl Halftime Show stage in Las Vegas on Feb. 11, Usher continued his banner month with the release of his Coming Home album.

The LP scored Usher his highest charting album on the Billboard 200 in over a decade, as his latest studio release bowed in at No. 2 behind Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s Vultures 1 with 91,000 units earned.

Iron Maiden’s ‘Future Past’ Tour Will Extend Into 2024, Band’s Manager Says

Iron Maiden just wrapped their long-running " Legacy of the Beast World Tour " in Tampa, Florida, on Thursday (Oct. 27).

And the legendary heavy metal band is already looking toward their " The Future Past Tour " to kick off in Europe next year.

On Friday (Oct. 28), in a thank you note to fans delivered by Iron Maiden's manager, it is revealed that The Future Past Tour will extend beyond 2023 and into 2024 — although exactly where it will continue has not yet been revealed

Read the note down toward the bottom of this post.

Iron Maiden released their 16th studio album, Senjutsu , last year. Get Iron Maiden concert tickets at this link.

From Iron Maiden band manager Ron Smallwood:

On behalf of the band, myself and all at Phantom, we’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who made this Legacy tour such a special and memorable experience. First and most importantly you, the fans, especially those affected by problems caused by the global pandemic which led to the 2020 European stadium shows having to be rescheduled not just once but twice! Your patience and good-will in holding on to your tickets and waiting until we could finally bring the Legacy show to you was very much appreciated. You truly are the best and playing to over 3 million of you over the extended tour was a hell of an achievement so thanks to each and every one of you for making this both possible and also making it incredible fun for the band who enjoyed pretty much every minute on stage. We’d also like to thank our brilliant touring Killer Krew - both the longstanding and newer members to the Maiden family, who never cease to rise to any challenges thrown their way - and there were a few - no mean feat considering this tour covered 33 countries and 139 shows played since we started in Tallinn way back on May 26 2018. Thanks also to all our Special Guests and support acts who played on the tour since 2018: Airbourne, Avatar, Fozzy, Gojira, Killswitch Engage, Lord of the Lost, Mastodon, Powerwolf, Rage In My Eyes, Rhapsody Of Fire, Sabaton, Serpentor, Shinedown, Tempt, The Hellacopters, The Raven Age, Tremonti, Trivium and Within Temptation. Thanks also to our suppliers, our agents, promoters, merchandisers and everyone else involved in bringing this show to you night after night, city after city. And finally, both personally and, I am sure, on behalf of all of you – massive thanks to Bruce, Steve, Dave, Adrian, Janick and Nicko who never let up, played, and sang! magnificently and matched every crowd for passion and enthusiasm every single night, wherever they were. Guys – I don’t know how you do it but we are all bloody glad you do!! We are all now going to take a well-earned break and we’ll be back again next year with a great new show, THE FUTURE PAST TOUR playing just Europe this time as the 2022 Legacy tour was such a long run to enable us to see as many of you fans as possible post-pandemic. However, THE FUTURE PAST TOUR will continue into 2024 and who knows where it will go… ..so stay tuned!!

flyctory.com

Flyctory.com – Future European Country (and more) Tour Dates

With more and more concerts coming in despite pandemic, I decided to move future country music concert dates to a separate page on Flyctory.com. I will update the data the next weeks gradually. The concerts are arranged in three sections, starting with my Featured Artists, followed by country music & Americana in general and, finally, all other kinds of tours I support or recommend. You may find tour dates for other genres than country in postings marked with the Tour Dates tag.

List of Future Concerts – Featured Artists

There is currently no Featured Artist on Tour

List of Future Country Concerts – European Dates

I decided to merge country music dates on this page now and remove the formerly existing split between  Sound of Nashville concerts and other dates. This section will in the the future also hold more and more Americana acts. I typically skip pure UK & Ireland tours.

Tyler Childers – Mule Pull Tour 2024

the future europe tour

Tyler Childers is definitely a big name coming to Europe. His European shows will be supported by John R. Miller

Lucinda Williams – Stories From A Rock N Roll Heart Tour 2024

the future europe tour

Lucinda Williams is one of the most active artists in releasing music in the country music scene. I know. The more, I am looking forward that she is touring Europe in early 2024 – and she is evening coming to my home town!

C2C – Country To Country

the future europe tour

The C2C is back in Europe – at least it becomes a full European concert event again. For 2024, two-day events have been confirmed for Berlin and Rotterdam. Interesting that Dublin is out and has been replaced by Belfast (which is much harder to get there for international travelers):

Sound of Nashville – Alexandra Kay, Hannah Ellis, Lakeview

the future europe tour

The time between the two C2C weekends is typically a period for artist showcases in other parts of Europe. Especially due to the Sound of Nashville shows, Germany and the Netherlands have established as key markets. Just two dates, but I absolutely love that they bring two amazing ladies to German stages – Alexandra Kay and Hannah Ellis will play Cologne and Munich in March. Definitely have to be there!

Sound of Nashville – Restless Road, Wyatt Flores, Carter Faith

the future europe tour

Another Sound of Nashville showcase features Restless Road, Wyatt Flores and Carter Faith. Unfortunately, the Frankfurt date is in parallel to a major trade fair, which leads to weird hotel prices. Nonetheless: if you can make it somehow, I am sure you have a great time in these two cities.

Love and Theft – Need To Breathe Acoustic Tour 2024

the future europe tour

Eric Gunderson and Stephen Barker Liles already had two Top 10 country albums in the Untied States. Rather short notice, they are visiting Europe in March. Interestingly, al the tour dates are located in Southern Germany and Austria

Sam Outlaw – EU Tour 2024

the future europe tour

Even though Sam Outlaw is having a quite long list of European dates for 2024, he is neither visiting the United Kingdom nor Germany . Thus, I am rather jealous of the people who are able to attend one of the concerts.

Lainey Wilson – Live 2024

the future europe tour

The last two years have definitely been great ones for Lainey Wilson. Four ACMA  Awards in 2023, two CMA Awards in 2022 and a lot of reputation and new fans – Lainey Wilson boosted herself on the top group of female country music artists. In April 2024, she is kicking off her European Tour.

Jon Pardi – Mr. Saturday Night World Tour 2024

the future europe tour

After Jon Pardi could not make it in 2023, he kept his promise and found replacement dates for his originally scheduled shows. There is even one additional concert, at the O2 Institute in Birmingham. What an amazing time for Belfast, hosting Jon Pardi just a day after the kick-off of the Lainey Wilson Tour

Darius Rucker – Starting Fires Tour 2024

the future europe tour

This one is the first big tour announcement for 2024 featuring dates outside the United Kingdom and Ireland to me. Darius Rucker is touring Europe – and among two dates in Germany and a lot of U.K. dates, he will also be touring Ireland, Switzerland and the Netherlands.

Charles Esten – Love Ain’t Pretty Tour 2024

the future europe tour

Charles Esten is about to release his first independent album in early 2024 – and he will also share it with us live on stage on a European tour. Sounds very exciting – and interesting to see that there are also four shows in Germany.

The BossHoss – 20 F**cking Years!

the future europe tour

These guys are really active. Just after closing their tour in 2023, they announced (majorly open air) tour dates for 2024 – and keep on partying their band anniversary.

Kacey Musgraves – Deeper Well World Tour

the future europe tour

Even before she is kicking off the North American part of her  Deeper Well  World Tour, Kacey Musgraves is coming to Europe. The German dates are presented by Sound of Nashville . All European dates are supported by Madi Diaz

Brett Young – Tour 2024

the future europe tour

Brett Young is more and more becoming a regular guest in Europe. He is having quite a lot of shows over here in May 2024, starting with Scandinavia, Germany and the Netherlands and then heading to the U.K.:

49 Winchester – Euro Tour ’24

the future europe tour

Right after the Virginia country band plays the BigAs Festival in Texas, they are heading over to Europe ad play in quite a couple of countries. There are also two gigs in Germany. Feels like this could be a lot of fun:

Jill Fisher – 2024 Concerts

the future europe tour

A very interesting German country artist is Jill Fisher. So far, there are not that many tour dates outstanding – but I am sure, the young country lady will soon add some more.

The Dead South – Europe 2024

the future europe tour

The Dead South are also touring the UK and Ireland in late 2023. I am concentrating in here on the Central European date in summer 2024.

Dylan Gossett – The Somehwhere Between Tour 2024

the future europe tour

Right in early March 2024, I just had added a Dylan Gossett song to my  Country Music Playlist , the Texas artist announced European tour dates for June and July 2024. Exciting news!

Megan Moroney – Georgia Girl Tour 2024

the future europe tour

September is Megan Moroney time! After some sows in the United Kingdom, the artist is having shows in different parts of Europe, including four shows in Scandinavia and two in Germany.

Blackberry Smoke – Be Right Here Tour 2024

the future europe tour

September and October 2024 will have a blast in Europe: the country rockers / Southern rockers Blackberry Smoke will tour the continent. To make it even better: They bring The Steel Woods as a support act with them. Fun guaranteed!

Ilse DeLange – Tour Germany 2024

the future europe tour

While Dutch country and pop artist Ilse DeLange toured in her home country through different theaters in early 2024, she is back in German clubs in fall 2024. I am sure that apart from her May 2024 album  Tainted , there might also be some of her classics.

Carly Pearce – Hummingbird Tour 2025

the future europe tour

The Hummingbird Tour is definitely the first really big country music tour announcement for 2025. Carly Pearce is first playing a set of gigs in Central Europe, before heading on to the United Kingdom and Ireland : I am sure that fans already look forward to it.

Other Tours

There is currently no other tour I would like to share with you. This section will also feature tours in the future, which I am aiming to cover with Flyctory.com:, as well as general recommendations.

Alex Diehl – Das ist Keine Übung Tour 2024

the future europe tour

German singer-songwriter Alex Diehl is coming with straight and very honest lyrics and an amazing voice. His 2023 album is amazing. Hope to feature him in Cologne.

Andreas Dorau – Im Gebüsch Tour 2024

the future europe tour

Even though I am not that much into electronic pop, I love Andreas Dorau and his music for decades. He is touring with his latest album  Im Gebüsch in Germany in ealry 2025:

Crypta – Shades of Sorrow European Tour 2024

the future europe tour

The Brazilian all female death metal band have just been founded in 2019, but already gained a massive fan base. In early 2024, they tour North America and then head on to good, old Europe. Support acts are Nakkeknaekker and Plaguemace.

Lordi – Unliving PicTour Show 2024

the future europe tour

My favorite Finnish monsters are back on European stages (majorly on German ones). Lordi is still by far the most frequently featured band in reviews – and just love their shows. More stages to be added.

The Mavericks – European & UK Tour 2024

the future europe tour

The Tex-Mex rockers come back to Europe in April and May 2024. This one could be a lot of fun.

Sasha – This Is My Time 2024

the future europe tour

Sasha is a very versatile German artist. In summer 2023, I reviewed the soundtrack to his children’s book  Toto und der Mann im Mond.  He had to move his show  This Is My Time , which will be a rather posh experience, to 2024. Here are the tour dates (all in Germany ):

Bruce Dickinson – The Mandrake Project Live 2024

the future europe tour

The Mandrake Project is definitely one of the most anticipated 2024 rock and metal albums. Iron Maiden legend Bruce Dickinson is not only sharing the release in March 2024 as a record, he is also touring the world with the songs thereafter. Here are the European dates: There are also some festival dates which do not have a fixed date yet.

Steel Panther – On The Prowl Europe 2024

the future europe tour

Even if I did not assign a very high rating to the 2023  On The Prowl   album, I am sure that these guys will be a lot of fun during their 2024 European tour stages. The Sweden Rock Festival is missing below, the exact date is not yet fixed.

ZZ Top – Summer 2024 Tour

the future europe tour

Such a great news that the Americana rockers make it back to Europe. The likely most well-known long beards of the music industry come back after five years – and play quite a couple of shows in 2024:

Needtobreathe – The Caves World Tour

the future europe tour

Germany, Netherlands and the United Kingdom are the tour stops of Needtobreathe. The Southern rock band majorly became famous for their songs with Christian background. Great music is guaranteed in September 2024.

Vision of Atlantis – Armada Tour 2024

the future europe tour

The press kit for the  Amrada  tour by the Austrian symphonic metal sounds very promising. They kick off in Vienna in mid-September and set sail all over Europe.

Tour Dates in Media Reviews

On top of the tour dates above, here are some tour dates, which I mentioned in EP or album reviews in the  Media Review section. I typically just give the link to the original post and the Tour dates in here. Again, I sort by the order of first tour date. If artists are touring in various stages with a break in between, I might cut down the list from time to time and change the sort order accordingly.

Weezer voyage to the blue planet tour

Weezer Is Taking A ‘Voyage To The Blue Planet’ With A North American Tour To Celebrate Their Iconic Debut Album

Megan Armstrong

Around this time last year, Weezer announced their joint Indie Rock Roadtrip alongside Future Islands, Joyce Manor , Modest Mouse , Momma, Spoon, and White Reaper. On Monday, March 11, Weezer had an even more exciting tour announcement.

The iconic Californian rockers will commemorate the 30th anniversary of their self-titled debut album (also known as the “Blue Album”) with Voyage To The Blue Planet Tour . The North American trek will feature Weezer performing Weezer “in full along with other fan favorites, rarities, and more,” as per the press release.” The Flaming Lips and Dinosaur Jr. will serve as supporting acts. All ticketing information is available here .

The press release additionally relayed, “Separate from their tour, the band also announces a special anniversary event on March 15 at the Lodge Room in Los Angeles with Dogstar as support. “This exciting full-circle moment mirrors the band’s March 1992 show at Raji’s, where they ended up opening for Dogstar in an unlikely turn of events.”

Ten of the best cycling holidays for 2024

2024 is set to be one of those cycling mega-years. On top of the usual three professional Grand Tours – in France, Spain, and Italy – and the World Championships in Switzerland, a summer Olympics (also in France) will be thrown in, for an extra sprinkle of fairy dust.

The Tour of Britain’s future still hangs in the balance, but across Europe and around the world, professional and amateur cyclists are gearing up for another 12 months of hairpin corners and steep ascents.

If the cycling bug hasn’t already bitten you, then 2024 might be the year it finally latches on. From Wales to the Arctic, we’ve selected ten of the best cycling holidays to whet your ravenous appetite, including serious cycles for the Mamils and Mawils, and gentle pootles for the easy riders, too.

Cycle the Cotswolds

New for 2024, this Oxford to Bath guided bike tour starts in the city of dreaming spires and ends with curved rows of honeystone Georgian buildings.

On the way you’ll take in villages such as Bibury, described by William Morris as the most beautiful in England, and Bampton, where scenes from Downton Abbey were filmed. Famed for its rolling hills and centuries-old pubs, the route also weaves through Bourton-on-the-Water, the Venice of the Cotswolds.

Exodus Adventure Travels ’ (020 8772 3743) new six-day tour starts at £2,099 per person, including bed and breakfast accommodation and a trip leader throughout.

Brecon Beacons and beyond

If you like the idea of carrying all your own gear and travelling under your own steam, then Roam Bikepacking offers something slightly different. It will equip you with a bike, saddlebags, a tent and sleeping bag, allowing you to get fully off road and into the wild.

Its new tour for 2024 will see guests take on Gospel Pass, Wales’s highest road, and Devil’s Staircase – one of Britain’s toughest climbs, reaching a maximum gradient of 20 per cent. They’ll also tell you about the best places to wild camp and swim.

Roam Bikepacking (07967 870654) can organise this four-day tour for £425 per person (camping) or £550 (B&B).

One for the road in France

2024 is set to be a vintage year for cycling in France. Not only will it host the annual Tour but also the summer Olympics. But while the pros will be powered by sports drinks and protein shakes, how about a leisurely amble around Champagne and Burgundy – two of Europe’s great wine-growing regions.

Highlights of this new tour include a visit to Notre Dame Cathedral in Reims, and a tasting at the Côte des Blancs wine estate. The laid-back route also takes in historic Dijon, the charming capital of Burgundy.

Exodus Adventure Travels (020 8772 3743) offers a seven-day tour from £4,399 per person, including flights, half-board accommodation, bike hire and a trip leader. Departures on June 23, July 14 and Sept 15 2024.

Midnight sun in Norway’s Lofoten Islands

This new self-guided cycling holiday explores one of northern Europe’s most spectacular and isolated regions, the Lofoten Archipelago. The route takes in deserted beaches and tiny fishing villages. If you’re really lucky, you might spot a white-tailed eagle.

Head north between the end of May and mid-July and the sun won’t set at all. Your bright nights will be spent in seaside lodges and red fishermen’s cabins. As for fuel: booze certainly won’t be cheap, but there will be plenty of local cheese and stockfish dumplings.

Headwater (01606 720199) is offering this new self-guided trip between June and August from £3,419 per person, including flights, accommodation, bike hire, and meals.

Discover the rural patchwork of Poland

Poland, you say? It’s not a country that many would associate with a cycling holiday, but then again, few operators share the vision of The Slow Cyclist, renowned for its off-the-beaten-track adventures.

This new tour kicks off in May and takes in Poland’s Lower Silesia region, bordering Germany and northern Czechia. By day, you’ll pass castles, forests and extinct volcanoes, but at night there’s plenty of time for Polish wine – the country is home to 400 vineyards – and nutritious hearty local food. Silesia is best known for its poppyseed cakes.

The Slow Cyclist (01865 410356) is offering a new four-night trip from £2,290 per person, based on travelling as a group of 12, including airport transfers, a support vehicle, and English-speaking guides.

Train like a pro in the French Alps

Aimed at serious cyclists, this week-long training camp based out of Morzine – host of the Tour de France on more than 20 occasions – is probably as close to riding professionally as you can get.

This “holiday” includes a private chef, daily massages, and a support vehicle. You’ll also receive a pre-camp training plan and an all-inclusive drinks package for the evenings. But don’t overdo it – the cycling will be tough. You’ll climb over 40,000 feet in a week. One of the climbs, the Col de la Pierre Carrée, is considered among the toughest in the world.

Sa Calobra Cycling Club (0033 688 699 160) is running this seven-night holiday between June 28 and July 5 2024 and costs from £2,208 per person.

A long weekend in Italy’s Dolomites

This is a convenient cycling holiday for people who don’t fancy spending a whole week in the saddle. Rather than moving each night, you’ll be based in a four-star lakeside hotel, in the village of Alleghe.

Each day ride comes in three options, offering mighty climbs for experienced col baggers, or more relaxed jaunts for the beginners. Epic scenery is, however, guaranteed for all. Day four tackles Marmolada, the highest mountain in the Dolomites.

Marmot Tours (01373 830409) offers four-night tours for £1,350 per person this July and August. Airport transfers and half-board accommodation are included, so too is wine with dinner.

Explore Ireland’s south coast

Cycle from Kerry to Cork on this new self-guided eight-day tour, which explores the green and hilly backroads of Ireland’s glorious south. Highlights include the forests and coasts around Clonakilty, and the Drombeg Stone Circle: 17 standing stones that date back 2,000 years.

An evening spent in the coastal town of Kinsale gives riders the option to visit James’s Fort, the ruins of a 17th-century fortress. The final day’s riding passes the Royal Cork Yacht Club, purportedly the world’s oldest.

Saddle Skedaddle (0191 265 1110) will run this new tour between April and October and it costs from £1,445 per person, including bed and breakfast accommodation, luggage transfers and digital route notes.

An e-bike tour of southern Japan

Explore the mountainous splendour of Shikoku, the smallest of Japan’s main islands, on a Yamaha e-bike tour, which covers 240 miles in a week. Following sections of the car-free Shimanami Kaido cycling trail, you’ll hop between the smaller islands of the Seto Inland Sea via five suspension bridges.

After touring the Shikoku temple pilgrimage route – comprising 88 sacred sites – your evenings will include sake tastings and soaks in onsens (hot springs). Add-on excursions to Hiroshima and Kyoto can be arranged at the start and end of the tour.

Freedom Treks (01273 977968) offers this holiday in March, April and May. Prices start from £3,757 and include accommodation, meals and a local guide.

Ride across America

The Big Daddy of cycling holidays, this 67-night expedition will cross one of the planet’s greatest nations, and takes in the Rocky Mountains, Yellowstone National Park and the Great Plains.

On this 4,000-mile journey between the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans you’ll average 67 miles a day, with a rest day every 10. The comfort, company, and security of a group will make it extra special. 2024 is a US Presidential Election year, so expect plenty to talk about.

Bike Adventures (01273 413489) is running a TransAm tour between July 14 and Sept 18, including a tour leader, support vehicle and accommodation, costing £10,395 per person.

China extends visa-free entry to four more European countries in a bid to boost tourism

Tourists on bamboo rafts tour the Jiuqu river at a Wuyi mountain scenic area in southeast China's Fujian Province on 3 October 2023.

China has extended visa-free entry to four more European countries.

In December and January, China brought in visa-free entry for citizens of seven European countries and Malaysia.

Now, four more European nations have been added to the list as the country tries to encourage more people to visit for business and tourism.

Citizens of Austria, Belgium, Hungary and Luxembourg will now also be allowed to enter China without a visa, along with citizens of France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and Switzerland.

The aim is “to facilitate the high-quality development of Chinese and foreign personnel exchanges and high-level opening up to the outside world,” Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said at a briefing on the initial announcement made in November.

Visa-free entry will be granted for up to 15 days in the trial program, which will be in effect for one year.

International travel to China is yet to bounce back

China's strict pandemic measures , which included required quarantines for all arrivals, discouraged many people from visiting for nearly three years. The restrictions were lifted early last year, but international travel has yet to bounce back to pre-pandemic levels.

China previously allowed citizens of Brunei, Japan and Singapore to enter without a visa but suspended that after the COVID-19 outbreak. It resumed visa-free entry for Brunei and Singapore in July but has not done so for Japan.

In 2023, China recorded 35.5 million entries and exits by foreigners, according to immigration statistics. That compares to 97.7 million for all of 2019, the last year before the pandemic.

The government has been seeking foreign investment to help boost a sluggish economy, and some businesspeople have been coming for trade fairs and meetings, including Tesla's Elon Musk and Apple's Tim Cook. Foreign tourists are still a rare sight compared to before the pandemic.

  • Georgia, Peru, Fiji: The countries where EU tourists can stay the longest
  • World’s most powerful passport: Four European countries rise to the top of the list

How else is China simplifying travel for Europeans?

Last year saw a surge in interest in China as a tourist destination among Europeans.

Data from online travel agency  Trip.com showed a 663 per cent increase in overall bookings from Europe to China compared to 2022, and an almost 29 per cent increase on 2019.

The United Kingdom and Germany were among the top 10 sources of inbound travellers to China globally, the data shows.

Shanghai remains the most popular destination among Europeans with its alluring blend of modernity and tradition, followed by Beijing, Guangzhou and Shenzhen.

Sanya, a beachside city on the southern end of China’s Hainan Island, and Chengdu - the capital of southwestern China's Sichuan province - are emerging destinations.

Beyond it's new visa-free schemes, the country is further encouraging inbound tourism by promoting cultural and historical attractions in partnership with Trip.com. China is also enhancing tourism infrastructure by investing in technology, travel guides and e-payment systems.

The Sunday Read: ‘Can Humans Endure the Psychological Torment of Mars?’

That people will travel to Mars, and soon, is a widely accepted conviction within NASA. Rachel McCauley, until recently the acting deputy director of NASA’s Mars campaign, had, as of July, a punch list of 800 problems that must be solved before the first human mission launches. Many of these concern the mechanical difficulties of transporting people to a planet that is never closer than 33.9 million miles away; keeping them alive on poisonous soil in unbreathable air, bombarded by solar radiation and galactic cosmic rays, without access to immediate communication; and returning them safely to Earth, more than a year and half later. But McCauley does not doubt that NASA will overcome these challenges. What NASA does not yet know — what nobody can know — is whether humanity can overcome the psychological torment of Martian life.

A mission known as CHAPEA, an experiment in which four ordinary people would enact, as closely as possible, the lives of Martian colonists for 378 days, sets out to answer that question.
