Countryside And Windmills Tour

Really enjoyed this tour! Left on schedule and got to explore volendam, Edam, Marken and windmills. Really enjoyed seeing the countryside of Amsterdam! Planning on visiting volendam at the end of this year to explore further! Our tour guide was very friendly and helping throughout the whole tour! Highly recommend!

Tour said 12:50 to meet up,they left around 12:30 and left me and my partner at the Merkel town and nearly left without us, there was also another group of 4 that got left behind with us, lucky we just found it.

Appreciate The Windmills And Country Side Tour

It’s a good thing I did not read these reviews before booking. I would have missed out on a great experience. I’d like to mention that they stressed on punctuality of departure so that individuals would not keep the group back, The tour was informative and on time. The guides Astrid and Adrian were well mannered and were always willing to chat about the venues we visited. Astrid often looked out for me and was very informed, answering all my questions like the true pro she was. Adrian also knew a bit of Trinidad and Tobago which was quite pleasing to me. The Netherlands is an amazing place with an inventive past and the Windmills and countryside tour for me was well worth the trip. Thanks again Astrid and Adrian.

This tour stranded me and my fiancé an hour from the city, and stole my backpack containing my camera and passport. This is a busy tour, they generally have about 75 to 100 people on a double decker bus. We visited the windmills and fishing village. Although the huge number of people creates a lack of personalization, the areas themselves are nice. Our last site was Marken, which involved a ferry to an island. It was raining heavily with thunder and lightning. There was a lot of confusion regarding what we would do: stay on the ferry, go to a restaurant, or go to the scheduled clog factory. A part of the group headed off in the rain to the clog factory. Because of the storm, my fiancé stayed in a restaurant were we had been dropped off. I went to get her but then found out that the tour left without us. We called the company immediately and were told to “go to a restaurant to get WiFi and figure it out, but the tour company is not responsible for missing the bus.” My backpack, camera, and passport were on the bus that left without us. I called the company to alert them about my backpack and they said, – “no problem, when the bus arrives we will have it”. We figured out how to call a taxi back to Amsterdam and went straight to the tours and tickets office, but now they told us that they would not return it. The staff were laughing happily about the lost luggage and that we needed to taxi home. Since my passport was with my things I had to file a police report and contact the US embassy about getting it back. Once the police were involved the tour group eventually gave back our things. I would avoid a company that will leave you behind, make sure they do nothing to help, and then steal your belongings if you don’t bring the police in with you.

Bought tickets online and received them quickly through e-mail. Was cheaper than door price!

We were in Amsterdam last August. When we wanted to book a tour, they kept us waiting for at least half an hour in one of their offices. In the end, we were helped well, but they could have hired more staff.

I don't think there are any discounts, but the "Behind the Scenes Pass" is definitely worth the price. We spent 2 days at Monticello. Most people bypass the Museum to go up & see the house. Our timing on the 1st day allowed us to spend several hours in the Museum, including the children's section which was also interesting. The next day, we toured the house & the free tours. If you don't take the "Behind The Scenes", you can't go upstairs, you don't get the true feel for the "servant" stairs, explore the dome & the "mystery room" connected. It's much less expensive to do it while you are there than to have to return to do it which many of our friends are doing.

I can't remember any discount and my husband is a teacher as well. It was a very good tour, we really enjoyed it.

There is an extensive section for teachers on the website. I am not sure if it would apply if you were not on a field trip. I would start there. Discounts were not visibly or widely posted so digging before you go is a good idea. There was a lower price for kids under age 11 as my twins were significantly less than my teenager who fell under the adult rate.

The only discount I'm aware of is that, if you are in the company of a resident of Charlottesville, the resident of Charlottesville gets in free!

My only other piece of advice: go to the Monticello website.

I could not find any. And I am a teacher! I forgot to ask! Since I wasn't with a school group, I figured it wouldn't apply anyway, if there was one. But it is a great question to ask. Sorry I don't have the answer.

Tickets for 2024 Barracuda Championship on sale starting today

TRUCKEE, Calif. (News 4 & Fox 11) — Tickets for the 26th annual Barracuda Championship go on sale starting today, Tuesday, April 16. This official PGA TOUR event, in collaboration with the DP World Tour, is the only one of its kind in the Truckee/Tahoe and Northern Nevada area.

“We’re thrilled to bring the 26th year of PGA TOUR to Truckee,” said tournament director Chris Hoff. “Each year brings amazing golf, young rising stars and the chance to get up close and personal with these pros. We’ve got some fun surprises in store for fans this year and we can’t wait to see fans this July for an unforgettable week.”

The event is set for July 15 through July 21 at Tahoe Mountain Club’s Old Greenwood. It will begin with pro-ams and practice days for the players with several community events like Junior Golf Day kicking off the week. Tournament play begins Thursday, July 18.

In addition to top-tier golf action, this year’s Barracuda Championship will offer a number of hospitality and ticket options, including the Bushwood Spirits Chalet on 18 Green. This exclusive spot offers great views of golf action on the 18th hole with access to the shared hospitality suite, a catered-style lunch, delicious snacks, and a fine selection of beer, wine and cocktails. Group ticket bundles are also available.

This year, the Barracuda Championship is shaking up the game by flipping the nines during tournament week. Officials say this change promises to raise the stakes of competition by having two par 5’s on the back nine and a drivable hole 17 — providing an exciting stretch over the tournament’s closing four holes.

The Bike to Barracuda initiative is also returning, providing fans with a greener transportation alternative. Bike along a marked route through downtown Truckee and forest areas to a special entrance behind tee 12 and enjoy $10 off a general admission ticket and one free beer courtesy of 5050 Brewing Co. Group rides are optional but encouraged.

A limited number of military members and first responders with proper verification will receive complimentary tickets to the Barracuda Championship tournament Thursday through Sunday of the tournament.

Fuerza Regida new album scores Pero No Te Enamores tour: How to get tickets, concert dates

Fresas y beliconas, get ready for another unforgettable Fuerza Regida tour.

The Mexican American band, hailing from San Bernadino, California, announced a 32-date U.S. arena tour produced by Live Nation on Tuesday. Fuerza Regida's Pero No Te Enamores Tour (But Don't Fall in Love Tour) will kick off June 6 in Austin, Texas, at the Moody Center, followed by a June 9 concert in Edinburg, Texas, at the Bert Ogden Arena.

The five-man group, fronted by singer Jesús Ortiz Paz, will also play dates in San Diego, Phoenix, Seattle, San Jose, Las Vegas, San Antonio and Palm Desert. In October and November, Fuerza Regida will head to Mexico for seven shows before returning to the U.S. for its last show in Inglewood, California, at the Intuit Dome on Nov. 16.

Fuerza Regida's upcoming nationwide tour follows a 2023 full of major accomplishments for the group.

In October, the group released its biggest album to date, "Pa Las Baby's Y Belikeada," which peaked at No. 2 on Billboard's Latin Albums chart and reached the Top 15 of the Billboard 200. Standout hits from the album include "TQM," "Sabor Fresa" and "Harley Quinn," which each charted on the Billboard Hot 100. "Harley Quinn," a collaboration with Marshmello, became the band's first-ever No. 1 hit on the Latin Airplay chart.

"Pa Las Baby's Y Belikeada" also earned Fuerza Regida a pair of awards — Top Duo/Group and Top Latin Duo/Group — at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards in November.

In a 2023 interview with USA TODAY, Paz spoke about Fuerza Regida leading the movement in expanding the global reach of Mexican music.

"We got into this business six years ago, and there was nothing like it," he said. "So, we're pioneers of this too. It took six years for us because everyone has a different career, but for us, to see Mexican music go global — there are no words. We're up with the rappers, the reggaetoneros. Mexican music's No. 1 right now."

Most recently, the band released its EP, "Dolido Pero No Arrepentido." The album debuted at No. 2 on Billboard's Regional Mexican Albums chart.

"The goal is to keep on staying on top, and like they say, 'Hard work beats talent.' So, we just don't stop working," Paz added. "And hopefully in the next six years, we're still on top, making global hits and still selling out stadiums and arenas — that's what we wish for, and hopefully it goes down."
