Overall rating

New Owners and Maintenance Crew is Military. Caters to those with no Place to go, and all the issues previously mentioned Are no longer an issue. Animal friendly. Hard working folks who are well on their way to turning the Place into an international and local boutique establishment.

So, don't stay here. The hotel actually goes by the Vagabond, and looks sketchy all around. There's several windows boarded up and clearly not in use for some time. There is a large pool area in the middle of the property that would be a nice amenity but also looks like it's been run down for years. Stains EVERYWHERE in our room. Spiderwebs, blood, grime. The electrical outlets looked sketchy to stay the least. I think the pictures of our room really speak for themselves. Just filth. I wouldn't want my family/friends staying here, especially not ones with children. Pay more to stay elsewhere.

The broken tile in front of the office should have been a clue. The dead cockroach on the inside of the room's door was another. Dust and cobwebs around the window made it clear the room had not had a thorough cleaning in too long. Both of us were bitten by fleas. Blurry tv barely worked. No minor amenities such as water glasses, but I wouldn't have felt safe to drink from them if there were any. Plenty of old dog droppings in landscaping on this and neighboring property. Permanent residents work on their cars and children play in the parking lot late at night. Noisy cars driving through the parking lot and people calling back and forth make sleep difficult.

This place is horrible! Stay away!! I booked my reservation through Expedia for a one night stay. Unfortunately I found out I couldn't make it and needed to cancel. I contacted Expedia about 4 hours after the cancellation period and they advised me to cancel the booking, instead of a no show, as that would give the hotel the most time in advance. I thought that to be a good option as I thought if just a 4 hour difference they would refund my money. Nope!! I requested Expedia multiple and multiple and multiple times - through phone and email - to contact the hotel and no one responded. Wtf??!! This is a hotel - anyone should be able to get a hold on them at anytime. If you want a hotel that will actually respond to you, I highly advise you stay away from Travellers Inn.

Horrible place. I had to lodge a huge complaint to hotels dot com. I even changed rooms to no avail. I reported the stairs to OSHA as they were in disrepair and crumbling. You really need to hang on for dear life so as not to fall going down. The bed in the first room was infested. The sink in worse condition and no know on the shower. The area and other guests, while out of control of the property was beyond scary. Seedy types all around. Not safe for females of anyone not used to inner city types.

" This is a budget motel, so the biz fluctuates and Maintenace is 24/7. I was a woman traveling alone, I felt so safe around the staff. "
