This once-in-a-lifetime trip is the perfect way to spend quality time with your partner or to treat yourself to an adventure you’ll never forget. Adults of all ages take our trips, sometimes with a companion and sometimes by themselves. You will meet fellow guests with a curiosity about the world and come away with unforgettable memories and special friendships. It can also help you memorably mark a special occasion, whether it’s an anniversary, birthday, retirement, honeymoon or other milestone.

The minimum age to take our expeditions is 12, but we will consider younger guests on a case-by-case basis.

Shortly after booking, your guest services manager will email you more details about your trip. This dedicated professional will be your main point of contact. He or she will provide you additional information leading up to your departure and is available to answer any questions via phone or email.

Prior to departure, you will receive a set of amenities for your trip. These may include a wheeled bag, a backpack, packing cubes and other useful travel items.

Our trips are a unique opportunity for like-minded travelers who are interested in learning and exploring to come together. The strong friendships forged on our trips continue long after guests return home and open the door to more travel adventures.

On expeditions with 48 or more travelers, daily activities will be divided into intimate groups of 6 to 12, so you never feel like you’re part of a crowd. On all trips, we offer numerous activity options at each destination such as: guided small-group sightseeing, curated shopping, and exclusive visits to museums and landmarks. Other examples include more active options like hikes or snorkeling, as well as unforgettable moments like an intimate guided exploration of Angkor Wat and our hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti.

TCS World Travel is committed to maintaining the quality and safety of the expedition for all participants. Overall, our trips give you the freedom to set your own pace. Each destination on every itinerary offers a variety of options with different activity levels. In some, you may only be walking for short periods of time and have more downtime between excursions, while in others, you may spend the entire day touring or walking over uneven terrain. You may, of course, choose to have a day off and relax at any location.

On all our expeditions, you can expect the following:

  • Uneven ground/frequent walking up to one mile at any given time
  • Walking up the steps to the jet, as many foreign airports do not have jetways
  • Trip pace—only one to three nights in each stop with some late-night activities and early-morning departures
  • Time zone changes
  • High altitude (some expeditions)
  • Changes to your ‘normal’ routine: unique cuisine, frequent packing/unpacking

We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate participants with special needs; however, we cannot accommodate wheelchairs or walkers. If you require a slower pace, extra assistance, or the use of a cane or walking stick, arrangements can be made for private touring at each destination. Any extra cost for such arrangements will be the responsibility of the participant.

Trip Pace Definitions

These icons refer to the overall pace of the trip and not to specific activities at each destination. For example, an expedition classified as moderate or relaxed in overall pace can still offer active options such as hiking or snorkeling.

  • Active Pace: Almost every day fully scheduled, and/or longer flight durations; expedition crosses multiple time zones
  • Moderate Pace: Downtime opportunities every three or four days, and/or shorter flight durations; crosses fewer time zones
  • Relaxed Pace: Many opportunities for relaxation, and/or three-night minimum stays in most destinations

Destination Safety

Before TCS travels to any destination, we vet it for safety. We and our consultant medical advisors,  Dr. Thomas Burke  and the BostonMD team, closely monitor all health situations. We monitor the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), the US Department of State, the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office and other third-party destination experts, and are consulting with our trusted local suppliers to evaluate travel to all locations featured on our expeditions.    The beauty of private jet travel is the ease of pivoting. If we need to change an itinerary for any reason, we can use our contacts in countries worldwide to assist us with making alternate arrangements for our group. These changes could be made well in advance of arrival or even while we are in the air en-route to a given location.

On-Trip Resources

On many expeditions, a trip physician will be available to consult with you at your request about general medical health issues such as upper-respiratory infections or gastro-intestinal upsets, which are not uncommon on this type of trip. Should you become seriously ill en route, the trip physician will be able to liaise with local physicians at your request and, if necessary, your medical providers back home, to assist in determining what further care you may require.

On-Trip Activity Level   This is an active program which requires a serious health assessment. There will be walking excursions at nearly every location, and you will need to climb stairs at some of the sites, as well as when you board and disembark the aircraft. There are some airports where you will be responsible for transporting your small wheeled overnight bag. We will have some early-morning departures and late-night activities, and may travel through multiple time zones.

To help counterbalance the carbon footprint that results from flying, starting in 2023 TCS World Travel is investing directly in measurable and meaningful sustainability projects that reduce the amount of carbon emissions in the atmosphere while positively impacting local communities and protecting local biodiversity.

Luggage is limited to two bags per person. The maximum weight per suitcase is 50 pounds (22 kg). All suitcases will be stored in the hold of the jet during our flights. You may also bring one carry-on bag per person, plus a camera bag or purse. All carry-on items must fit in the overhead bin. Please note that in some destinations you will need to carry your items up the jet stairs.

A dedicated journey staff member handles your luggage throughout the journey. In many destinations, our staff will transfer your luggage directly from the plane to your hotel room. In others, you may be required to walk your bags through customs before handing them over to our staff, but we take over from there. Secure vehicles accompanied by a dedicated journey staff member are used to transfer luggage between the airport and the hotel on arrival and departure. Often, your bag will be in your room by the time you’re checked into the hotel.

We suggest you bring comfortable clothing that can be layered. One of your most important items is a pair of comfortable shoes for walking. Our guests generally dress up a little for the welcome and farewell dinners, but this is their choice and is certainly not required. Also, you will find slightly more formal dining options at many of the hotels where we stay. For this reason, you may want to bring a few nicer outfits. A more detailed packing list with specific clothing recommendations will be sent to you closer to the departure date. While you’re packing, please keep in mind that laundry services are available at most of our hotels. We also recommend you leave extra space in your suitcase to bring home souvenirs of your journey.

TCS World Travel is committed to safeguarding the security of its guests on every expedition. The company has implemented a set of security processes throughout the journey – from before guests depart to when they touch down in a destination. These processes have been fine-tuned over two decades and more than 300 private jet expeditions and thousands of custom trips to help ensure peace of mind for everyone involved.

All guests must have valid passports to participate in this program. Passports must be valid at least six months beyond the end date of your expedition. If visas are required for the expedition, a visa kit will be sent to you approximately between 6 and 3 months prior to departure depending on destination requirements. We work with an expediting service that helps make getting your required visas easier. Although you’re still required to fill out your visa forms and cover the application costs, they will review the application to make sure it’s complete and liaise with the necessary consulates and embassies to process your visas.

We pre-fill your customs and immigrations forms at every stop—all you have to do is sign. Where possible, our guests enjoy special privileges, such as expedited customs and immigration formalities. We may have a dedicated customs counter for our group and are occasionally allowed to go through without individual clearance.

The price of your expedition incorporates large items like the jet, hotels, transportation and meals, but it also includes many other things, such as activities, top-of-the-line guides, private dinners in restaurants, beverages and every single tip (guides, restaurants, hotel staff, drivers, etc.). We also supply you with all the bottled water you can drink all day every day. We even provide you with postcards that we mail for you—all you have to do is write.

Your expedition includes:

  • Travel on a privately chartered jet
  • First-class accommodations
  • Ground transportation
  • All meals and beverages, including select beer, wine and spirits aboard the jet and group lunches and dinners

Global health institutions like the World Health Organization and the Centers for Disease Control are now categorizing COVID-19 as an endemic disease, similar to other infectious diseases we live with daily. In response to this changing global scenario, most countries have now relaxed or dropped their COVID-19 vaccine and testing regulations – so TCS has adapted our policy as well.

  • While we highly recommend that guests be vaccinated, we are no longer requiring vaccines for guests to travel on a Four Seasons Private Jet Experience journey, unless it is required by one of the destinations on the program.
  • There will no longer be required testing for COVID-19 either prior to trip start, at trip start or during your journey, unless it is required by one of the destinations on the program or recommended by the trip physician for treatment support.
  • We will ask any guests who are exhibiting symptoms of illnesses (such as colds or flu) to mask when they are around other guests, helping to reduce transmission and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all. World of Adventures: A Four Seasons Private Jet Experience 2025

Guest Reviews

This was a bucket list trip of a…, this was my 7th trip with tcs.

This was my 7th trip with TCS and all trips I would give an A+ except the last one which I would give an A. The difference is in the leadership. Other than who leads the group the hotels are perfect, the restaurants 4 & 5 star and the places we visited very educational and enlightening

This Around-the-World by Private Jet…

This Around-the-World by Private Jet excursion will be my first journey with TCS World Travel. My initial encounter was with Rachael, who is extremely personable, knowledgeable, and accommodating. She was very patient in answering many questions and offering suggestions and guidance. I look forward to the next stage of planning for the exciting excursion.

Superb people making the trip wonderful

The Best of Africa is the Best

Great itinerary, great expedition team, great plane and crew, wonderful accommodations and exceptional service throughout makes for the Best of Africa.

What an amazing journey

What an amazing journey. Every step of the way was perfectly organized and stress free thanks to TCS. The trip, the jet, the staff, the hotels and restaurants were all top shelf everywhere we went. Fabulous experiences with great people. We will definitely be travelling again with TCS

What It’s Like To Travel Around The World On The Four Seasons’ Private Jet

The plane whisked travelers on around-the-world itineraries, visiting iconic landmarks and staying at world-class Four Seasons hotels along the way. The initial response from bloggers like Ben from One Mile at a Time was skepticism about who this plane and these trips were for :

And to some degree I have to wonder how much of a market there is for this. Millionaires probably couldn’t reasonably afford this, while billionaires would presumably want a more tailored experience than a month-long journey with 50 other people and no flexibility — they can just get their own jet. Maybe they’re going after “poor” hundred millionaires?

A year later, Ben wrote another article asking if the Four Seasons plane was overrated and questioning its long term viability :

But personally I’d be surprised if this business model works long term or is expanded. I’m guessing some high end travelers are trying it once out of curiosity, but long term do you really want to drop that kind of cash on such a “rigid” trip, when you could ultimately fly better airline products and have a more customized experience for less?

Well, here we are in 2023 and Four Seasons Private Jet Experience is still going strong. It’s spawned a cottage industry of private jet trips with even programs like Adventures by Disney running its own worldwide itinerary .

Four Seasons now uses an upgraded Airbus A321-LRneo, so I guess they’re doing OK. But how OK?

I was lucky enough to get to talk to someone who’s been on a Four Seasons trip. They were nice enough to share with me pictures from their trip and even let me read the personal journal they wrote while away (yes, people still write in notebooks, and this leather-bound book was specially provided to guests by Four Seasons for just that reason).

QC5QW7TxRRWkOi9Il9Kjdg_thumb_19b

Let me apologize now for what’s missing from this post. I’m sure that most of you, like me, would love to see tons of pictures of the inside of the airplane, along with all the meals they were served, as well as pictures of every hotel room. When I looked through the pictures, I found almost none of that. While disappointed, that was key for me to understand the appeal of this trip to those who go on it.

The people who can afford this trip have already flown on fancy planes in first class. They’ve stayed at five-star hotels and eaten at Michelin-star restaurants all around the world. That’s not why they’re going. The appeal is right in the name of the trip. Experience.

The Details

The trip the people I talked to went on is called Timeless Discoveries. This 24-day trip started in Los Angeles, ended in London and covered the following locations:

  • Los Angeles (The Beverly Wilshire)
  • Kona, Hawaii (Four Seasons Resort Hualalai at Historic Ka’upulehu
  • Bora Bora (Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora)
  • Sydney, Australia (Four Seasons Hotel Sydney)
  • Bali, Indonesia (Four Seasons Resort Bali at Sayan)
  • Thailand (stay at either Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai or Four Seasons Tented Camp Golden Triangle)
  • Mumbai, India (Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai)
  • Prague, Czech Republic (Four Seasons Hotel Prague)
  • London, England (Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane)

That’s a bunch of flying around the world.

Screen Shot 2019-07-18 at 10.43.09 PM

From the map, you might notice some stops along the way that aren’t on the itinerary, such as AKL and TZX (That’s Trabzon Airport in Turkey, if you’re wondering). I can only imagine those stops were necessary due to the range of the plane. When reading the trip notes, due to a strong tailwind they were able to fly direct from BOM-PRG, one of the perks when you are on a private jet.

I noticed right away that one of the major gripes about the plane, when it was announced, was the 2-2 seating arrangements and how the seats weren’t any better than what you’d find in commercial business class. (The new plane features lie-flat leather seats)

I mean, this plane doesn’t even have an IFE system. You’re given an iPad with all the information about your trip, which you can also load with your own content or watch movies or TV they provide (I guess streaming) on the jet. You do get to keep the iPad and the Bose QC25 headphones provided at the end of the trip 🙂

What no one thought of is that the longest flight would be about 5 1/2 hours. There are no red-eye flights or 16-hour trips. Everything is planned for maximum comfort.

Boarding at the airport isn’t through the terminal. For most of the flights, passengers were escorted directly to the plane.

Xnmw6ovuQWi+SR+rraWDug_thumb_19a.jpg

I’m sure they had access to the Private Suite when departing LAX, which could have made it feel like you’re not even leaving from the zoo of an airport, but more like from a private airfield.

Here’s a note from the first day and welcome dinner:

Arrived at Beverly Wilshire late afternoon. Quick change and a lovely cocktail and dinner party at the hotel. Met some of the other 39 guests and staff. Room was large and well-appointed. Dinner was lovely with Dom Perignon as the house champagne and Newton chardonnay.

The trip is almost all-inclusive. Here’s how it’s described by Four Seasons in the trip documents:

All meals are included, from the welcome dinner in Los Angeles through breakfast in London. At most destinations, one group dinner is planned that may feature local entertainment or highlight a landmark while you dine. On other evenings you will have the opportunity for a la carte dining. In-room dining is included for breakfast each morning and for lunch or dinner when there is not a group meal. If you choose to skip a group meal then you will be responsible for the cost of your meal.

Personal expenses may include phone and fax charges, laundry, shopping, shipping and the cost of liquor while not onboard the jet.

Four Seasons leaves nothing out for guests on these trips. It’s intended to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Special surprises are everywhere. Once you get to the first hotel, (almost) everything is taken care of, like a helicopter tour in Hawaii where you just happen to run across some whales:

GFTFvMyIS8+fZeOBi3RuRA_thumb_2a.jpg

On the trip from Hawaii, guests start to settle into the vibe of the trip. Here’s a snippet about the ride to Bora Bora and arrival at the hotel.

We were spoiled once again on our home away from home “Four Seasons Jet.” Dom Perignon, French Puligny-Montrachet (wine) and a four-course lunch. Yum.

Our first impression of the hotel was spectacular. The rooms on the water are as beautiful as the advertisements. We were upgraded to a suite with a private pool because of some minor issue (our name was misspelled) LOL.

Imagine relaxing in your overwater bungalow suite with a private pool after going for a Wave Runner tour in Bora Bora:

UNADJUSTEDNONRAW_thumb_48.jpg

When arriving in Sydney, they had a special guest at the welcome dinner

We had a cocktail reception in the lobby bar with a Koala Bear. It was quite cute and it was a nice treat. We then had a group dinner which was with stations and wine was good as well. As usual, we closed the place.

The next day included sightseeing over Sydney in a seaplane:

jpRa+4YqQP60ccgBA2649A_thumb_6b.jpg

On the way to Bail, the pilot made sure they got their money’s worth.

We made a flyover at 7,000 feet on route to see the holy mountain, Ayers Rock. Uluru is the current name which was the ancient name

Arriving in Bali, they checked into the hotel. This room must have been nice because it’s one of the only ones to get a separate mention in the journal.

Our room was built into the side of the mountain overlooking the river. We had a large outdoor pool and a beautiful view of the mountains.

0DvjdhaQR0SHbll2MY2HrQ_thumb_7d.jpg

An optional part of the trip was going to train with professionals in the ways of riding and caring for an elephant when visiting the elephant camp in Chiang Rai:

hVgN%%g5SvyE6yQsiZqJ0w_thumb_d6

If you want to visit the elephant camp, there’s only one way, no matter how much your trip costs.

We had a one-hour drive to our camp upon arrival in Chiang Rai. We were brought into town where we took individual boats to the camp. The boats were wood with engines made out of old car engines. The river was narrow and fairly shallow so God willing we would have made it to shore. LOL.

When you’re staying at the Four Seasons tent camp, I think this is even a step above glamping.

The Four Seasons Hotel was as usual but a well-appointed tent. It was a permanent tent with beam ceilings, heat, AC, WiFi, no television. Luckily, we were near the restaurant and lobby as it could have been up to a two-mile walk. We had a delicious dinner of lamb and fish. Dinner was with six others on our trip.

Hardly anyone gets to take a side trip on the way to Mumbai to stop at Agra airport (I bet not many people have this dot on their map since it’s a military airport), but Four Seasons guests do.

qbeDEmIJRFuhBt1Jb6ju0Q_thumb_ec.jpg

Landing at a military airbase in India was actually quite frightening. We were surrounded by machine-gun armed guards. The bus (full size) was a 30-minute ride to a gorgeous hotel…… After a snack at the hotel, we went by golf cart to the Taj Mahal.

uIEx3uN7R8e3ukP%FF8QZw_thumb_f6.jpg

Here’s a glimpse into what makes this trip so exclusive:

I’m glad that I was able to see the site but would not have unless I was on this trip. The conventional way to get to the site is a 4-hour bus ride one way from the next nearest airport. After visiting the site we reboarded our plane for a two-hour flight to Mumbai.

It’s amazing to read what little things during a trip that people will seem to focus on. Like this tidbit about breakfast at the hotel in Mumbai:

At this hotel, I opted for croissants and fruit. I don’t understand why our croissants at home can’t taste this good. After all, it is India.

Note: The trip above has changed slightly. Instead of going to Mumbai after the Taj Mahal, now you fly onward to Dubai for four nights.

After a few days in India, they headed off to the last big stop of the trip, Prague:

QGyssianSgiCP%tMDiLIuQ_thumb_141.jpg

The actual trip ended in London with a one-night stay at the Four Seasons London Park Lane. The notes from the night echo the feeling when we’re at the Farewell Dinners for our Adventures by Disney trips :

It was a very special evening as we all became friends and were sad to leave one another. We had a buffet dinner in typical British style. We sat with all the single ladies so DH was in good company. The surprise entertainment was a Beatles tribute band, We danced the night away to Beatles tunes. DH even got to sing. Of course he did!!!!

Final Thoughts

After reading all of the notes of the trip (and there were plenty), I got it. Part of the appeal is not having to do any planning. Everything is thought out for you. No worrying about booking hotels, flights or making itineraries. While we might like the challenge of booking a trip like this, we’re not normal 🙂 This trip also includes the ease and access that money allows. Want a side trip to the Taj Mahal? OK. Private airport transfers. Dropped off right at the plane. No worrying about your luggage, everything is covered. Meals at the Four Seasons every night, included. Entertainment and dinner shows. Want to go on Sydney Bridge Climb today? Done.

You’re being waited on and looked after for the entire time you’re away. Oh, and if you need medical care there’s an independent physician traveling with the group who can help with upper respiratory or gastrointestinal problems, which the Four Seasons warns can be common when going on trips like this.

The final appealing thing about this trip that you miss when just looking at the hard product (hotel and plane) and the soft product (people waiting on you 24/7) is the sense of camaraderie you build when traveling with people for a long trip. In our experience with our Adventures by Disney trips, which are also group tours, it takes a few days but eventually, people start to become social. Everyone on this trip has at least one thing in common with everyone else: they all can afford to go on this type of trip. So you start to mingle and sit together at breakfast. Talk over group dinners and then go to hang out at the lounge after dinner. The jet is an extension of the trip. It’s not meant to be an isolation chamber where you can disappear. It’s a place to further get to know those in your group. If you’ve never experienced it, I can’t truly explain how you can become friends with people over the course of a few days, or in the case of this trip, weeks.

So how much does this level of luxury cost?

Upcoming trips vary in price from $130,000 to $205,000 per person (Double Occupancy)

Was it worth it? I’ll leave you with the final notes from the journal.

We are both looking forward to going home but honestly we are so very blessed to have experienced this trip of a lifetime. God willing maybe we will do another one again.

P.S. They’ve already booked another trip.

I have to close by thanking the guests on this trip who provided me with all of the pictures and quotes for this article. Letting me page through your memories means so much to me and I’m so appreciative that you trusted me to share details about your trip with everyone.

I enjoyed this blog article until the traveler seemed to surprised that of all places INDIA could have better food than “home.” Lame and bigoted.

' src=

Sad to see that you’d snap to judgment like that about someone. Without context, I can see how the comment could be taken that way but in the context of the many pages of notes about visiting India, it was more of a comment on how you wouldn’t expect India to make the best croissant just like I wouldn’t expect to find the best pizza I’ve ever eaten in Australia.

' src=

I thought National Geographic private plane tours were expensive at under $100,000, but this ups the ante. Well, for those who can easily afford it, why not?

' src=

It’s not that unaffordable. If you’re making $1m a year for a household, yes it’s difficult. But for my family it’s no unreasonable. But I question the comfort. I’m better off booking an Abercrombie guided trip and flying first class commercial + private for certain hard to get routes. The A321 is terrible for comfort and I’m not high on their hotel and room choices.

' src=

Wow… What a fabulous trip. I can see why people would love it. I did choke though when I saw the price lol. Yup, too much for just millionaires. It’s OK for someone worth over a hundred million, or makes more than 3 million a year consistently.

' src=

My husband and I were lucky enough to take the World of Adventure trip in 2018 and have just signed up for Ancient Explorers in 2021 on the new plane. I agree with the author’s assessment that the joy of the trip is the wonderful experiences on the ground, the interesting fellow travelers we met and the fact that all we had to do was show up and we knew the details were well taken care of. I don’t understand the poster above who says that particular Airbus is uncomfortable. If the new custom seats are like the seats in the 757 it will be more than comfortable. The new plane will have a lounge area that will make socializing in the air even easier, plus the restrooms will be large enough to change clothes and freshen up if needed. The service and food onboard were quite impressive and as good if not better than any first class commercial flight I’ve been on. And if Four Seasons hotels are slumming it for you than perhaps this trip isn’t for you. We were treated like royalty at each FS resort/hotel on our last trip and at every stay since. It’s no surprise the concept is so successful.

The price isn’t the main concern for us. The problem is, I don’t have the ability to go on month long trips. I have small businesses to run and things don’t get done as well when I can’t be there to manage. If they had like packages for half the length, that would be ideal.

' src=

I don’t like the itinerary. If I had 24 days, I could put together an itinerary better than they have, going to places that I want to see. Even if I were limited to scheduled flights and not my own chartered routes, I could do better.

' src=

Sounds like a fabulous trip. Several of the comments were that this kind of trip was for people making multiple millions of dollars a year. Not true. The commentors are clearly not wealthy people.

The key is not how many millions a year a person makes, but how much do they already have. If a person has a large investment protfolio which generates way more income than they need, spending $300,000 on a once in a lifetime trip is not a problem. For example: If a person only needs $200,000 to live on and their portfolio is generating $700,000 a year in income, this means they have an excess of $500,00/year to spend, so spending $300,000 is not a big deal. This is especially true if they are older and realistically need to travel while they still have the health to do it.

Simple Flying

Where the four seasons private jet is flying in 2024.

Once again, the Four Seasons Private Jet Experience will fly around the world in 2024 to many of the most exotic and exclusive destinations.

Four Seasons is one of the world's most famous luxury and resort chains with over 100 hotels and resorts worldwide. The iconic Four Seasons jet is the state-of-the-art Airbus A321LR. The Four Seasons private jet destinations for 2024 have now been revealed (as have the Four Seasons Airbus A321LR private tours for 2025 ). The next Four Seasons private jet tour is the World of Adventures tour to eight countries over 24 days between April 17 and May 10, 2024. The World of Adventures tour will explore some of the top highlights of the Pacific and Africa. While it may be too late to book this tour, there are two more 2024 itineraries to select from.

The luxury Airbus A321LR

The upcoming Four Seasons jet experience itineraries for 2024 include the World of Adventures, the Ancient Explorer, and the Unchartered Discovery. The Four Seasons Airbus A321LR is no ordinary aircraft. It features customized interiors and luxury service becoming of the hotel's high standards. The aircraft and its interior have been designed to complement a fully luxurious vacation. Passengers relax with leather flatbed seats (which stretch 6.5 feet in a fully flat position). Passengers enjoy inflight WiFi, on-demand entertainment, and a great food menu.

Learn more about the Airbus A321neo vs A321LR vs A321XLR and which is the best.

While one can expect a normal Airbus A321neo to have 233 passengers onboard on a commercial flight, Four Season's A321LR is limited to up to 52 passengers. The Four Seasons Jet has a 14-person cabin and flight crew (including three pilots). The Airbus A321neo is the longest-fuselage member of the A320 family, and the A321LR is the long-range variant providing extended range. Thanks to extra fuel in three Additional Centre Tanks (ACTs), it can fly routes of up to 4,000 nautical miles or 4,600 miles.

Four Season's Jet welcomes couples and solo travelers alike. The tour is designed with adults in mind, but it is possible to bring well-traveled children aged 12 and over on the tour. For families with younger children, Four Seasons has other tours to choose from.

Luxury Is Back: Four Seasons Launches 2023 Private A321LR Trips

Ancient explorer 2024.

The Ancient Explorer itinerary will focus on ten of the world's most famous ancient marvels found worldwide ( Four Seasons' 2023 itinerary focused on discovering the wonders of Africa ). This itinerary is scheduled for May 12 to June 4 - a period of 24 days. The Four Seasons A321LR will fly from some of the world's oldest tourist destinations (such as the pyramids of Giza) to some of the world's remotest destinations (such as Easter Island). These luxury tours don't come cheap. The tour costs $205,000 per person based on double occupancy.

Starting in Florida, the tour will visit Mexico, Easter Island (Chile), Bora Bora (French Polynesia), Australia, Thailand, Jordan, Egypt, Greece, and Spain. The tour explores some of the world's oldest history, from the 5,000-year-old Pyramids of Egypt to the Teotihuacan Pyramids of Mexico (which predate the Aztecs). While the itinerary includes many planned excursions, they can also be fully customized to guests' interests. Tour options range from exotic cooking classes to heli-flightseeing over volcanoes.

Easter Island's Mataveri International Airport is the most isolated airport in the world .

Throughout the tour, guests can expect to be pampered with the highest category deluxe rooms at each property as the included option (with the option to upgrade to a wide range of suites). All meals and beverages (including alcohol) are included while onboard the Four Seasons private jet. All lunches and dinners include beer, wines by the glass, liquors, and soft drinks.

Bewildering: Inside Four Seasons' A321LR Private Jet ($170,000 A Ticket!)

Unchartered discovery 2024.

Another Four Seasons jet experience with the Airbus A321LR is the Unchartered Discovery - and it will focus on many of the most dramatic attractions of Central America and the Southern Hemisphere. The itinerary is scheduled for November 30 to December 20 and will visit seven destinations over 21 days. The cost of joining this tour is $215,000 per person based on double occupancy (solo occupancy may cost more).

This tour focuses on the wonders of the Western Hemisphere - mostly south of the United States (plus Antarctica). On the journey, guests explore the ancient Inca Sacred Valley and the legendary ruins of Machu Picchu high in the mountains. They will explore Iguazú Falls - one of the largest waterfalls located on the border between Argentina and Brazil. They will have time to explore some of the vibrant Latin culture of Latin America in Colombia and other locations.

Perhaps the tour's highlight is the four-night cruise to the Antarctic Peninsula. Antarctica is one destination the Airbus A321LR can not go. So the passengers are flown to Punta Arenas in Chile, taking a charter flight to King George Island. From there, they board a luxury chartered private polar ship to Antarctica. This region can have dramatic weather conditions, so the itinerary is weather permitting.

There's a Brand-new Four Seasons Private Jet Trip Coming in 2024 — and It Goes to 5 Continents in 24 Days

The newly announced itinerary from Four Seasons Private Jet Experiences will take guests to 10 destinations on five continents.

four seasons trip around world

The Four Seasons Private Jet Experience is back with a brand-new adventure for 2024.

The hospitality company shared its latest private jet itinerary, called Ancient Explorer .

The new itinerary will take guests to 10 destinations across five continents over 24 days, traversing the globe in a fully customized Airbus A321LRneo, which, according to a release sent to Travel + Leisure , has the “widest and tallest cabin in its class.” On board, guests can relax in their bespoke leather seats, which turn into lie-flat beds at the push of a button. Guests can also mix and mingle in the plane’s lounge area, where they'll enjoy educational workshops hosted by experts the plane picks up along the way. There will also be a physician on board for total peace of mind.

The trip, which is from Aug. 28 to Sept. 20, 2024, departs from Florida and jets off to Mexico City, where guests will take flight once more on a sunrise hot-air balloon ride. Next, guests will travel to Chile's Easter Island to explore its UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and then journey to Bora Bora, where they'll trade their jet for a 40-foot catamaran to sail in the azure waters of the South Pacific.

The private jet will then transport guests to destinations like Bangkok, Egypt, and Italy, before ending the trip in Madrid. And, like all the other private jet journeys, guests on this trip will spend their overnights at various Four Seasons hotels and resorts. (In destinations where there are no Four Seasons, guests will stay at hotels hand-selected by the Private Jet Experiences team.)

Four Seasons' $100k+ Round-The-World Trip on a 757 Is Back

Benji Stawski

Back in 2014, Four Seasons partnered with TCS World Travel, a luxury tour operator, to create the Four Seasons Jet. The specially configured Boeing 757, leased from TAG Aviation and bearing the UK registration G-TCSX , has since been taking travelers on adventures around the world with stays in Four Seasons properties along the way.

Despite the high price tags, the trips have been extremely popular. A 2018 edition, "World of Adventures," is already sold out and has garnered so much interest that Four Seasons has decided to offer it again in the fall of 2019 — with a double-occupancy price of $143,000 per person, or $157,300 if you're traveling solo.

The 24-day round-the-world trip covers travel to eight countries: Japan, Indonesia (Bali), Seychelles, Rwanda, Morocco, Colombia, Ecuador and the US. Across four continents, participants will be introduced to a mix of activities like trekking through a bamboo forest, preparing a meal with a Michelin-starred chef and sunbathing on secluded beaches. As with other trips, included in the price are the hotel rooms, all meals and beverages, ground transportation, planned excursions and, of course, air travel aboard the Four Seasons Private Jet.

How's the private jet you ask? While it's not as decked out as Crystal Cruises' $50,000-an-hour Crystal Skye , it's not too shabby either. The single-cabin plane has seating for just 52, with 78-inch lie-flat seats arranged in a 2-2 configuration.

Onboard amenities include personal iPads, noise-cancelling Bose headphones and Mongolian cashmere blankets. Although there are never any overnight flights, linens and goose-down pillows are also available.

The in-flight team includes a Director of Guest Experience, concierge, executive chef and a physician. All cabin and flight crews are fully Four Seasons–trained.

"We are delivering an incredibly unique product and the demand from luxury travelers has been nothing short of remarkable, driving a record sellout in 2018, and the addition of another journey to our 2019 lineup," said J. Allen Smith, president and CEO of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.

TPG's Director of Marketing & Communications, Becca Denenberg, recently visited the Four Seasons Marrakech , one of the hotels participants will be staying at, and described it as one of the most beautiful properties she's stayed at. "My stay was memorable and as close to perfect as I've ever experienced," she said. One can only imagine how the experience will be for the hotel's ultra-VIP guests traveling as a part of the group.

Four Seasons Yacht Caribbean itinerary

The inaugural Mediterranean voyages will begin in March 2026. The adventures will showcase several sun-plenty destinations, such as Croatia, Gibraltar, Montenegro, Italy, Portugal, Spain, and Turkey. The itinerary will also spotlight the Greek gems of Athens, Santorini, and Milos. More details will be released in the coming months, but Four Seasons says seafarers can expect a variety of experiences that go above and beyond that of the regular cruise or tour.

Four Seasons says all itineraries are crafted with flexibility in mind, meaning guests can tailor their own adventures. In addition, the team offers customizable pre-and-post hotel and overland programs at Four Seasons hotels and resorts so you can make it a long and memorable vacation.

Four Seasons Yacht Mediterranean itinerary

The vessel itself is designed to evoke all the elegance of your favorite Four Seasons. The luxurious interior can accommodate 195 guests across 95 suites and about 210 crew, meaning that the guest-to-crew ratio is definitely in your favor. Four Seasons says the yacht also offers 50 percent more living space per guest than comparable vessels on the seas.

Four Seasons Yacht Funnel Suite

Beyond the suites, seafarers can enjoy 11 dining options, spa and wellness offerings, a transverse marina, and a 65-foot stern pool that will be one of the largest in the industry.

“Our teams are dedicated to innovating and delivering genuine service, ensuring each journey is defined by comfort, elegance, and personalization, setting a new standard for luxury hospitality experiences at sea.” Four Seasons president and CEO Alejandro Reynal said in a statement.

You can visit the Four Seasons Yachts website for more information on the upcoming cruises.

Four Seasons Unveils First Yacht Itineraries and Suite Interiors

Four Seasons loyalists have a lot to be excited about, with the launch of the brand’s first yacht nearing in 2026.

The 14-deck luxury vessel, which is partly being modeled off of Aristotle Onassis’ iconic yacht Christina O , will offer some of the most opulent amenities at sea. Initial renderings released in October 2023 show a 66-foot saltwater pool, a marina deck built for swimming and watersports, sophisticated dining concepts, and 95 guest suites. Now, the Four Seasons has released the first renderings showcasing the spacious suites on board—and we got a first look.

The ship's sleek design seeks to translate “the Four Seasons guest experience in terms of comfort level and the luxury standards" to life at sea, Fredrik Johannson, partner and executive director of Tillberg Design of Sweden and the lead designer on the Four Seasons Yacht, tells Condé Nast Traveler. Even the hotel group’s beloved mattresses will be offered in every room.

The first renderings of the Four Season Yacht's suites were released Tuesday, showcasing spacious guest rooms with ocean views.

Also just revealed: the first destinations the yacht will call upon throughout its inaugural year. Passengers can expect to visit a wide variety of exclusive and jet-setting locales, as the yacht is slated to visit more than 130 destinations across 30 countries in its first year alone. And of course, guests will have the option to book pre-and-post cruise extensions at iconic Four Seasons resorts along the way.

“We’re incredibly proud to announce the first itineraries aboard Four Seasons Yachts, and know that these experiences will exceed our guest expectations when we set sail in 2026,” says Alejandro Reynal, Four Seasons President and CEO.

Each voyage calls upon small ports that are typically considered “yacht playgrounds," Thatcher Brown, the Chief Commercial Officer at Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings LTD and co-owner of Four Seasons Yachts, tells Traveler. Passengers can expect to sail between Caribbean and Mediterranean coastal havens almost exclusively visited by private vessels .

When the yacht launches in January 2026, it will first head to the Caribbean, where it will complete seven-night, island-hopping itineraries between St. Barths, Nevis, the Grenadines, St Lucia, Barbados, Martinique, Guadeloupe, Curaçao, and Aruba.

Then in March 2026, the ship will cross the Atlantic and begin sailing its Grand Mediterranean voyages , which include visits to alluring towns in Croatia, Gibraltar, Montenegro, Italy, Portugal, Spain, and Turkey. Travelers can also expect to access “under-the-radar” Greek islands , like Ios and Milos, as well as more popular Grecian destinations like Athens and Santorini, according to a Four Seasons release.

Guests will have the option to adjoin suites to accommodate families or other groups traveling together.

Sure the destinations sound glamorous—but it might be difficult for passengers to depart the ship and leave behind the luxe accommodations on board. Specifically the guest suites—which will offer 50% more living space per guest than any other competitor currently at sea, according to the company’s release.

Each space will offer floor-to-ceiling windows framing views of the sea, bathrooms with double vanities, and large closets. “Almost every single bed on this whole yacht is facing the sea,” Johannson says. “All the rooms there have this clarity to them. They are very exclusive, but they have a beautiful simplicity.”

Every suite will also offer private outdoor terraces. What’s more: guests will have the option to adjoin suites to accommodate families or other groups traveling together. There are more than 100 different adjoining configurations, including the option to reserve the entire side of a deck—an opportunity that would afford a group of travel companions more than 13,000 square feet of living space.

Image may contain Transportation Vehicle Yacht Architecture Balcony and Building

The Four Seasons Yacht will be divided between Funnel and Loft Suites, each with private outdoor terraces.

But the true showstopper on board is sure to be the Funnel Suite. Located on the very top deck where the funnel or smokestack would traditionally be, the Funnel Suite is essentially the ship’s penthouse, spanning four floors and 9,975 square feet. The massive space will feature three bedrooms and a terrace with outdoor dining space, splash pool, and outdoor showers. But the suite’s best amenity will be its views. The four-story, floor-to-ceiling windows have been fitted with the largest piece of contiguous curved glass at sea, offering sweeping 280-degree views of the ocean as the yacht sails from port to port.

Voyages on board the Four Seasons yacht haven’t yet opened for general booking, but interested travelers can join the yacht’s waitlist in hopes of securing one of the elegant suites on the 2026 itineraries.

  • All sightseeing activities, from guided small-group excursions and private shopping to more active options such as snorkeling and hikes
  • Special events and private access
  • Top local guides and/or on-trip experts
  • A veteran expedition team who handles all logistics
  • On some itineraries, a trip physician who accompanies you throughout your journey
  • All gratuities
  • Luggage handling
  • Bottled water

Your expedition does not include:

  • Commercial airfare between your home city and departure/arrival destination
  • Optional and additional accident/baggage/cancellation insurance
  • Passport and visa fees
  • Personal expenses such as laundry, telephone and fax fees
  • All beverages not mentioned above as included

*Aircraft operated by Titan Airways Limited.

Reservation Process

To reserve your place on the expedition, complete and sign a reservation form and return it with your deposit. The deposit can be made by check, wire transfer, or by a major credit card such as American Express, Visa and MasterCard. If you pay your initial deposit by credit card, it is fully refundable until you sign the reservation form. Subsequent payments are payable by check or wire transfer, made out to the account indicated on the reservation form.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your reservation or change your plans, your right to receive a refund is limited, as set forth in the trip payment schedule. All cancellations will become effective as of the date of the postmark or email receipt. All requests for refunds must be sent to TCS World Travel in writing via mail, fax or email.

If you are traveling solo and prefer the privacy of your own room, you will be charged a solo traveler supplement. This ensures that individual travelers will get the same type and size rooms as our double occupancy travelers.

The Jet tour is operated by TCS World Travel, dedicated to delivering immersive, worry-free travel experiences for the globally curious and modern luxury traveler. The aircraft is operated by Titan Airways, an IOSA-certified airlines with over 30 years of experience in bespoke air charter travel.

We look forward to embarking on an extraordinary journey together as travel gradually returns to normal. Please reach out if you have any questions.

The new Four Seasons yacht will set sail in 2026.

Four Seasons has long set the gold standard for luxury accommodations on land and is renowned for its exquisite hotels that offer unparalleled comfort and service. Now, this legacy of luxury is extending its reach to the seas. In a groundbreaking move, Four Seasons Yachts , in collaboration with Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings Ltd and the esteemed Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri, is introducing an ambitious venture into luxury sea travel. Scheduled to set sail in 2026, this initiative promises an experience that transcends traditional cruising, offering voyages across the mesmerizing waters of the Caribbean and the historic coasts of the Mediterranean.

Alejandro Reynal, President and CEO of Four Seasons, expressed enthusiasm about bringing the brand's hallmark of guest-centered luxury to the high seas. According to Reynal, this expansion into yachting is a natural extension of Four Seasons' commitment to providing personalized, elegant, and comfortable experiences. The aim is clear: to redefine luxury hospitality, but this time, against the backdrop of the world's most stunning seascapes.

The suites are breathtaking.

The inaugural season of Four Seasons Yachts is poised to offer something truly special. With ten unique voyages planned, travelers will have the opportunity to explore over 130 distinct destinations across more than 30 countries and territories. Each itinerary has been meticulously crafted, allowing guests the flexibility to design their own sea adventure. From the lively atmospheres of Caribbean islands like Saint Barthélemy and Martinique to the cultural richness of Mediterranean gems, including the Greek Isles and Croatia, these voyages promise a blend of well-loved destinations and hidden treasures.

The spacious cabins have incredible views.

Accommodations aboard the yacht are set to be a marvel in themselves. Ninety-five suites, conceived by the creative minds of Fredrik Johannson at Tillberg Design of Sweden and Creative Director Prosper Assouline, are designed to be sanctuaries of tranquility at sea. Each suite, envisioned with elegant interiors, expansive views, and a residential feel, aims to provide guests with a sense of being at home away from home. Among these, the Funnel and Loft Suites stand out for their sheer luxury and space. They offer unique features such as splash pools, outdoor showers, and breathtaking panoramic views, setting a new benchmark for luxury accommodations on water.

The pool deck features a bar and lounge chairs.

Beyond the exquisite suites, the yacht will feature various amenities designed to cater to every guest's needs. With eleven dining options, a comprehensive spa and wellness center, a state-of-the-art marina, and an innovative pool area capable of hosting events, the yacht ensures a variety of experiences that enrich the journey.

“We’re building a stunning seafaring venture that will be enjoyed as a yacht experience rather than a cruise experience," says Thatcher Brown, chief commercial officer and head of joint operations at luxury shipping specialist Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings, the joint owner/operator of the Four Seasons Yachts brand. "The intrinsic value of Four Seasons brand leadership in luxury hospitality combined with the passionate pioneering spirit and expertise of the project team is manifested in the creation of truly special Four Seasons Yachts experiences."

Moscow Metro

The Moscow Metro Tour is included in most guided tours’ itineraries. Opened in 1935, under Stalin’s regime, the metro was not only meant to solve transport problems, but also was hailed as “a people’s palace”. Every station you will see during your Moscow metro tour looks like a palace room. There are bright paintings, mosaics, stained glass, bronze statues… Our Moscow metro tour includes the most impressive stations best architects and designers worked at - Ploshchad Revolutsii, Mayakovskaya, Komsomolskaya, Kievskaya, Novoslobodskaya and some others.

What is the kremlin in russia?

The guide will not only help you navigate the metro, but will also provide you with fascinating background tales for the images you see and a history of each station.

And there some stories to be told during the Moscow metro tour! The deepest station - Park Pobedy - is 84 metres under the ground with the world longest escalator of 140 meters. Parts of the so-called Metro-2, a secret strategic system of underground tunnels, was used for its construction.

During the Second World War the metro itself became a strategic asset: it was turned into the city's biggest bomb-shelter and one of the stations even became a library. 217 children were born here in 1941-1942! The metro is the most effective means of transport in the capital.

There are almost 200 stations 196 at the moment and trains run every 90 seconds! The guide of your Moscow metro tour can explain to you how to buy tickets and find your way if you plan to get around by yourself.

On Tuesday, a major bridge in Baltimore collapsed into the water seconds after it was struck by a cargo ship, sending vehicles on the bridge into the river below. The ship lost power and issued a mayday call shortly before it hit the bridge.

A video shows the cargo ship striking the bridge and the resulting collapse of the bridge.

The ship, a 948-foot-long cargo vessel called Dali, was about a half hour into its journey toward Colombo, Sri Lanka, when it hit a main pillar of the bridge. All crew members are safe, according to the ship’s owners.

Follow our live coverage .

A mayday call from the ship gave officials enough time to stop traffic at both ends of the bridge. The waters where the bridge collapsed are about 50 feet deep. By Tuesday morning, six construction workers who had been fixing potholes on the bridge remained missing as divers and other emergency workers on boats and helicopters continued to search for them. Two others had been rescued, and one was in the hospital.

The Francis Scott Key Bridge was opened in 1977 and carried more than 12.4 million vehicles last year. The bridge was one of the three major ways to cross the Patapsco River and formed part of Baltimore’s beltway.

The Port of Baltimore is a major trade hub that handled a record amount of foreign cargo last year. It is an especially important destination — the nation’s largest by volume last year — for deliveries of cars and light trucks.

Overall, Baltimore was the 17th biggest port in the United States in 2021, ranked by total tons, according to the Bureau of Transportation Statistics. The bridge collapse brought marine traffic there to a standstill, with seven cargo or tanker ships stranded in the harbor as of Tuesday afternoon.

Gov. Wes Moore declared a state of emergency for Maryland and said that his office was in close communication with Pete Buttigieg, the U.S. transportation secretary. The White House issued a statement saying that President Biden had been briefed on the collapse.
