Fabulous custom tour

We booked Anatoly for a private day tour of chocolate shops in Moscow. He did an excellent job setting up an itinerary. He picked us up at our ship with a clean newer car and driver. We visited 7 shops all around Moscow. He was very helpful translating for us and explaining things we didn't understand. He is fluent in English as well as French which helped with flavor and ingredient names. We had a wonderful day, enjoyed learning a bit about his life in Russia, and exploring parts of the city not on our ship tour. He was very knowledgeable about Moscow, Russia, the sights we saw and its history. I would recommend Anatoly and his company as a guide. I felt we got good value for the cost and it was a highlight of our trip.

My sister and I booked Anatoly online for 3 days of touring and guiding. Just returned from a wonderful experience with Anatoly and his terrific driver Roman. Anatoly speaks excellent English, is truly concerned you get the experience you want and goes the extra mile to make sure you have a great time. His knowledge of Moscow and it's history is vast and we left with exactly what we hoped to receive-a genuine education about Russian history, its people and a sense of the city. We strongly recommend him for anyone who is looking for more than a "guidebook" tour of Moscow.

The tours with Anatoly were just perfect. With him, we have visited Moscow during one day. His french and his English are perfect. He knows a lot about history anb we really appreciated it. The tour in the metro was also excellent. I recommand this tour to everyone.

I booked Open Moscow tours and had Anatoly for the day. My wfe and myself felt Anatoly's tour was the highlight of our latest trip to Moscow. He was very professional all the time and delivery of his tour, knowledgeable on the history and will change itinerary very quickly if traffic is an issue, great personality and take you to places that will suit you after his getting to know you n between walking places. This was how he accommodated us as I am no fan in shopping and heavy into arts. His excellent command of English made the private tour such a delight. We felt so lucky to have Anatoly as he weaved us throught the metro and then to all the other landmarks that he spent a 10 hour day tour more than what we paid for. Book him, and you will have a ball in Moscow so long your legs can take you, Anatoly will accommodate for sure. Tell him this came from James and Seong from Perth, Australia.

We were impressed with our guide Svetlana expertise and knowledge throughout the journey, it made us easier to understand Moscow’s history and culture. In addition, thank you for letting us teased you for few days, we enjoyed seeing you smile…

Anatoly was simply outstanding. We enjoyed his company and knowledge for 3 days. He was always on time, has an excellent command of English, provided a land rover that completely suited our needs and was engaging and co-operative.His knowledge of Moscow, its history, landmarks, art galleries and their contents and restaurants was exceptional.I can't think of anything more we could have asked of him.By all means hire him.You will not be disappointed.

Traveler Reviews

i only have one word for this tour.. amazing. the guide, Liya is very awesome. She showed me alot of great places in Moscow and recommend best things in the city. she is very kind. if you wanna find best activities while in Moscow, this tour is highly recommend and one of best tour i had. Thank youu

We have had several photo shoots on tours in other countries and we are very much disappointed with the outcome of the photos in this tour. Photogrpher didnt even wait till there are no people in the background before shooting. People were all over the background. She does not even know the and"rule of thirds? We were always in the middle of the photo. Even a the photo by the christmas tree waz disappointing as there was not 1 picture where you have the full picture of the christmas tree. She did not even try to hide or get a better angle at the Cathedral where you can even see the huge blue container at the lower right hand corner of the backgroubd behind uz. Because the pictures we and're so bad, even the edited pictures did not help to give depth, drama and life to our pictures.

I had only one free day in Moscow and I chose this tour in order to get a sense of the place. It was fantastic. The guide was knowledgeable, energetic and a half decent photographer. We did a lot of walking in teh cold - which was half the fun of it - and saw a lot of Moscow. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

This tour is worth it and my guide photographer Gelena was exceptionally good. We started the tour after I finished my walking tour of Moscow and I knew exactly where all I needed to go to take my pictures. When I met Gelena and I told her where all I wanted to go and she looking at the position of the sun to ensure we get the best lighting for the photos managed all locations very well. She also took me to the the small alleys as she understood what I liked in the photographs. I made Gelena take many random pics as well as I would do with my own camera. Gelena was very understanding and the photographs she took were amazing, She would show me every photo and only after I approved of the shot did she move ahead. If she didn't like the photo she would keep taking until she was happy with the outcome. Gelena was also very patient and waited for a clear back ground without other tourists being captured in the frame. I would strongly recommend this tour and only with Gelena as she understands what the person in front of the camera is looking for. I strongly recommend this tour and only with Gelena as she understands what the person in front of the camera is looking to capture. Gelena was very good in her English and a great person to interact with as well.

The photos are wonderful.

This tour was very exciting, informative, and personal. We had an AMAZING time with our guide and truly learned a lot from our experience. I would recommend this tour and this guide to anyone who plans to travel to this area of Europe. The tour was well-worth the money, and I will definitely book this tour or a similar tour the next time I travel!
