ABOUT GUNS N’ ROSES:
Guns N’ Roses endure as the most dynamic, dangerous, and definitive American rock band in history to this day. Embedded in popular culture, their landmark diamond-selling 1987 opus, Appetite For Destruction , stands out as “the best-selling U.S. debut album ever” and “the 11 th best-selling U.S. album of all time, ” while their Not In This Lifetime… Tour (2016-2019) ranked as the “fourth-highest grossing concert tour of all time . ” During 1991, Guns N’ Roses shook the world with the one-two punch of the 7x-platinum Use Your Illusion I and Use Your Illusion II , clinching the top two spots of the Billboard 200 upon arrival. With total sales of 100 million units thus far, their catalog also consists of G N’ R Lies (5x-platinum), The Spaghetti Incident? Guns N' Roses Announce 2023 Tour Across North America, Europe and Israel — See the Dates!
The rockers last hit North America in 2021
Guns N' Roses is hitting the road!
The rockers will embark on a lengthy tour in June that will see them play nearly 40 dates across stadiums, arenas and festivals around the world.
The band — which includes Axl Rose , 61, Duff McKagan , 59, and Slash , 57 — will kick things off in Tel Aviv, Israel on June 5 before heading to Europe for 15 concerts.
On Aug. 5, the "November Rain" rockers will head back to North America for 22 more dates before wrapping in Vancouver on Oct. 16. The band last hit North America in 2021, on its We're F'N Back! Tour.
For longtime fans, the end of each show will look a bit different, as Rose announced in December that he will no longer throw his microphone into the crowd after a fan claimed the move injured her.
"It's come to my attention that a fan may have been hurt at r show in Adelaide Australia possibly being hit by the microphone at the end of the show when I traditionally toss the mic to the fans," he wrote on Twitter.
RELATED VIDEO: Axl Rose, Alanis Morissette and More Deliver Emotional Performances at Lisa Marie Presley's Memorial
He continued: "Having tossed the mic at the end of r show for over 30 years we always felt it was a known part of the very end of r performance that fans wanted and were aware of to have an opportunity to catch the mic. Regardless in the interest of public safety from now on we'll refrain from tossing the mic or anything to the fans during or at r performance."
Rose recently celebrated his birthday with a heartfelt Twitter message to fans that thanked them for their longtime support.
"I'm very fortunate n' privileged to have such great friends, fans n' people in my life!!" he wrote. "I'm extremely grateful for ALL the people I n' Guns n' Roses r privileged to play for n' all those we meet, know n' work with around the world!! I mean that sincerely from the bottom of my heart n' don't take anyone n' their love, friendship n' support along with any of our success for granted!!"

Guns N’ Roses announce massive 2023 world tour
Slash and co will visit the Middle East, Europe and North America over a sprawling 38-date schedule, which is set to kick off in June
Guns N’ Roses have announced they’ll be hitting the road later this year for a mammoth world tour that will span five months.
Set to kick off at the Park Hayarkon in Tel Aviv, Israel, on June 5, the tour will see Slash and co then make their way through Europe over the course of 15 dates, visiting Spain, Belgium, Denmark, Norway, the UK, Germany, Italy and more.
The European leg of the tour will conclude on July 22 with a performance at the Olympic Stadium in Athens, Greece.
After a few weeks break, GN'R will then get to work on a North American leg of the tour, which will commence on August 5 at the Medavie Blue Cross Stadium in Moncton, Canada. The band will then play shows at Boston’s Fenway Park, Lexington, Kentucky's Rupp Arena, Biloxi’s Mississippi Coast Coliseum and more, before wrapping things up at Vancouver, Canada's BC Place on October 16.
The 2023 world tour will be Guns N’ Roses’ first time on the road since the band’s We’re F’N Back! tour, which concluded last summer.

Their debut record, 1987's critically acclaimed "Appetite For Destruction" , became the best-selling debut album of all time in the U.S., featuring Top 10 singles "Welcome To The Jungle" , "Paradise City" and No. 1 iconic track "Sweet Child O' Mine" .

GUNS N' ROSES ' reunion tour features guitarist Slash , bassist Duff McKagan and singer Axl Rose backed by guitarist Richard Fortus , drummer Frank Ferrer , keyboardist Dizzy Reed and second keyboardist Melissa Reese .
GUNS N' ROSES released a new four-song EP, "Hard Skool" , in February 2022. The band is now reportedly working on a new studio album — the first under the GUNS banner since 2008's "Chinese Democracy" and the first to feature Rose , Slash and McKagan since 1993.

Guns N’ Roses have added more dates to their current North American tour, announcing four new dates to the end of the run.
Shop the best of Guns N Roses’ discography on vinyl and more .
The new shows will take place in Edmonton (October 19); Nampa, Idaho (October 22); Salt Lake City (October 24); and Denver (October 27). A Live Nation pre-sale for the new dates begins on Tuesday (September 19) at 10 a.m. local time using the code STUDIO via Ticketmaster, with a general sale starting Wednesday (September 20).
The tour is promising to be an exciting run, with Slash having recently revealed that they reworked a number of songs during the pandemic. “There’s a handful of those songs that we actually fixed up and did when we were in lockdown,” he explained to “Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk”. “So those have yet to be released. So those are gonna come out. They’re really good, too. So I’m excited for those. We’re just gonna put out like one or two songs, and another one or two songs. And I think that’s gonna be pretty much all of ’em. I’m not sure exactly how many we did in total.”
Last month, the band shared their new single “Perhaps” via Audacy rock stations. The strident, anthemic new song also arrived with an official video.
According to a press release, per Audacy, the song was “written and recorded by Axl Rose, Slash, and Duff McKagan this year,” and marks their “first collective new composition and recording together in 30 years since 1993’s The Spaghetti Incident? ”
While Slash and Duff may have had a bigger hand in writing the official version of “Perhaps” than the band’s 2021 singles “Hard Skool” and “ABSUЯD” (which were both reworked from years-old demos), “Perhaps” is not an entirely new song. A rough demo version of “Perhaps” has been floating around for several years, and Guns N’ Roses played the song during a soundcheck before a show in Israel in June of this year.
Regardless of the song’s origins, though, new music from Guns N’ Roses is always an extremely welcome treat for fans, especially with core members Axl, Duff, and Slash involved.

Quick: Which summer stadium tour features a singer in a shiny outfit, a special guest and a three-hour set that includes a few surprise curveballs? Would you believe Guns N’ Roses ? The band is back on tour again this summer — it plays North American stadiums until mid-October — with Slash, original bassist Duff McKagan, longstanding keyboardist Dizzy Reed and, for many concerts, a surprisingly sincere cover of the Jimmy Webb classic “Wichita Lineman.”
Guns N’ Roses Announce Dates For 2023 World Tour
Trending on billboard, guns n’ roses classic crowns top tv songs chart after ‘the summer i turned pretty’ synch.
At a time when critics seem positively shocked at the idea that a stadium show can run for more than three hours and include two surprise songs, it’s worth remembering that this was once simply what rock fans expected — play for a while and surprise us a bit. Guns N’ Roses went beyond this to give each member a chance to shine: McKagan sang a powerful “TV Eye,” Slash snuck pieces of “Voodoo Child” and “People Get Ready” into other songs and “Dizzy f–king Reed,” as Rose called him, showed off his keyboard work. There were plenty of covers, too: “Down on the Farm” (the U.K. Subs song the band covered on The Spaghetti Incident? ), “Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door” and, yes, “Wichita Lineman.” It’s hard to think of a song that seems less suited for a hard rock band – sincere, minimal, tasteful – but it worked well enough to make up for Andrew Dice Clay.

Guns N’ Roses Live Surprises: Debuts and Rarities From 2023 Tour
Guns N' Roses have maintained a largely stable set list since Axl Rose , Slash and Duff McKagan launched their three-fifths reunion tour in 2016, so it's a cause for celebration among fans whenever they shake up things.
The rockers' ongoing 2023 tour has already provided a handful of surprises in the form of album cuts that haven't been played for decades, all-new covers and a few rarely performed epics. Chinese Democracy fans have also gotten a few treats so far, with the band subbing in a few of the album's lesser-known gems.
Read on to watch 11 live debuts and rarities from Guns N' Roses' 2023 world tour.
"Bad Obsession," Use Your Illusion I (first time since 1993)
Guns N' Roses came out swinging on the first night of their 2023 tour, following up their customary show opener "It's So Easy" with a scorching rendition of Use Your Illusion I deep cut "Bad Obsession." The greasy slide guitars sounded tough as nails, and Rose sounded confident and commanding in his lower register. No Michael Monroe on harmonica, sadly, but beggars can't be choosers.
"Pretty Tied Up," Use Your Illusion II (first time since 1992)
Fans have clamored for GNR to break out "Pretty Tied Up" since they reunited in 2016, and they didn't disappoint when they finally unveiled it at their 2023 tour opener. It was another fitting opportunity for Rose to flex his lower register, while Slash and keyboardist Dizzy Reed sounded particularly fired up on the bluesy, groovy rocker.
"Down on the Farm" (U.K. Subs cover), "The Spaghetti Incident?" (first time since 2006)
Guns N' Roses have been working "The Spaghetti Incident?" covers into their sets for the past several years, usually with McKagan taking over lead vocals for the Misfits ' "Attitude" or the Damned's "New Rose." This time, however, Rose is sticking to lead vocal duties for a fiery version of the U.K. Subs' "Down on the Farm." It's a welcome, high-octane change of pace, with Rose gamely applying an exaggerated British accent just like he did on the band's studio cover.
"Anything Goes," Appetite for Destruction (first time since 1988)
Guns N' Roses' earth-shattering debut is the most-represented album in their set lists, with seven to eight songs routinely appearing every night. Still, fans freaked out when they unearthed the Side B gem "Anything Goes" for the first time in 35 years. They've now played all but one Appetite song in their reunion era, with "Think About You" being the lone holdout.
"T.V. Eye" ( The Stooges cover) (live debut)
McKagan still has a lead vocal spotlight on this tour, but he's swapped out some of his old favorites for a fresh cover of the Stooges' "T.V. Eye," off their sophomore album Fun House . Perhaps the bassist was inspired by his recent contributions to Iggy Pop 's Every Loser and performance at the punk legend's tour kickoff in April.
"Nice Boys" (Rose Tattoo cover), G N' R Lies (first time since 2017)
Guns N' Roses have covered Rose Tattoo's "Nice Boys" only twice since reuniting: once in 2017 and once at their 2023 tour kickoff. Rose Tattoo frontman Angry Anderson joined them for the 2017 performance, making it arguably more memorable, but it still made for a rip-roaring set list addition this year.
"My Michelle," Appetite for Destruction (first time since 2017)
One of the less-represented cuts off Appetite , "My Michelle" hadn't appeared in Guns N' Roses' set lists since 2017 before their 2023 tour kickoff. It was a live staple that earlier year, with the band playing it at 65 of their 83 shows. It was also a guest star opportunity in 2016, with Sebastian Bach and former GN'R drummer Steven Adler joining the band during a handful of concerts to perform it. They've performed it only at their 2023 tour kickoff so far, but fingers crossed they keep it in semi-regular rotation this year — and maybe share the stage with other high-profile guests in the process.
"There Was a Time," Chinese Democracy (first time since 2017)
Arguably the centerpiece of Chinese Democracy , "There Was a Time" is one of the most epic and technically demanding songs in the Guns N' Roses catalog. That's probably why they've played it only a few dozen times in their entire career, including twice in 2016 and eight times in 2017. They dusted it off for the third show of their 2023 world tour in Madrid — hopefully, it won't be the last appearance this year.
"Locomotive," Use Your Illusion II
Another shape-shifting epic from the Use Your Illusion albums, "Locomotive" ranks among "Coma," "November Rain" and "Estranged" as one of Guns N' Roses' greatest long-form masterpieces. It's also a staggering technical achievement, which is why it was not played for most of their career. They delighted fans when they rolled it out at three shows in 2019, and they've played it three times so far in 2023.
"Prostitute," Chinese Democracy (first time since 2017)
The closing track on Chinese Democracy is another symphonic rock epic in the vein of "There Was a Time." Guns N' Roses played it a mere 15 times in 2017, and they've begun to work it back into their 2023 set lists. Another welcome addition for hardcore fans.
"Street of Dreams," Chinese Democracy
Many Guns N' Roses fans have acknowledged "Street of Dreams" as a Chinese Democracy highlight since it was floating around file-sharing services with its working title, "The Blues." Despite that, the band's current lineup has barely played it live. After years of anticipation, they finally played it three times in 2022, and they've played it twice on their 2023 tour so far.
