It’s modern and easier to navigate, and now offers a new feature called “Online Health.” Online Health allows you to see how healthy your internet connection is in terms of online security . With this tool, you’re able to have more control over your internet connection by assessing your health score. You can up this score by using both ad blocking and VPN features to ensure that your connection is encrypted, private, and safe from snoops.

The new interface also comes with dark mode, reducing the amount of light coming from your screen while allowing the app to remain visible. And it’s perfect for those users that prefer darker shades as they use their Mac.

Use Reader When Available: Safari Reader is a feature that strips everything except the text and in-article images from a website and displays them to you in a clean, distraction-free way. You can manually enable Reader when you view an article, but checking this box in Safari 11 will always load articles in Reader when you visit the site. Note, however, that not all sites or articles support Reader, so this will only work when you visit a compatible webpage.

Enable Content Blockers: Last year, Apple added content blockers to Safari for Mac. These let you block ads, videos, and other content from loading unless you explicitly exempted a site. By using this option in Safari 11, you can now enable or disable all content blockers for a specific site.

Page Zoom: Previous versions of Safari let users set a default universal zoom setting, allowing users with impaired vision to make websites look bigger, or allowing users to fit more content on the screen by reducing the zoom level. As mentioned, this was a universal setting that applied to all websites. Now, you can use this option to set unique zoom levels for individual websites that will persist even between browsing sessions.

Auto-Play: One of Safari 11’s other big features is that it can be configured to stop videos from automatically playing when you load a website. This option lets you control this feature on a per-site basis. For example, you may want videos of sports highlights at NHL.com to automatically play, but not those annoying and meaningless videos at CNN.com. Your options include allowing everything to auto-play, allowing videos without sound to auto-play, or blocking all videos from auto-playing.

When you’re done configuring settings for a particular website, just click anywhere outside of the settings window to close it. Your new settings will take effect immediately.

ADBLOCK è fantastico semplice e funzionale, non invadente (ad esclusione di quando ti chiede di abbonarti), fa quello che dice di fare e ti chide se deve andare oltre, che bell poter dire si, una volte, sempre o mai. peccato che stia spingendo troppo sull' a pagamento, capisco ma.... comunque ottimo lo consiglio.

COST OF BIG MAC IN MOSCOW NOW TWICE AS BIG

McDonald's of Moscow has nearly doubled its hamburger prices and is now charging more than half an average day's wages for a Big Mac, the newspaper Izvestia reported.

The Moscow McDonald's business manager told Izvestia Monday that the price increase - from 3 rubles, 50 kopecks to 6 rubles, 95 kopecks - was necessary because of increases in the cost of meat and the flour for hamburger buns.At the official exchange rate, the new price for a Big Mac is equivalent to about $11.95, but at the more realistic official "tourist" rate it is $1.15 and at black market exchange rates it would be about 25-50 cents.

But since average monthly wages in the Soviet Union are about 250 rubles, with the new prices a Muscovite could easily spend a day's pay for a hamburger, french fries and a milkshake.

Since the McDonald's on Moscow's Gorky Street opened early this year, it has served an estimated 9 million people who wait in hourslong lines in all kinds of weather for Western fast food.
