This is one of the best luxury travel trailers for couples out there. After much scrutinizing, this travel trailer made it to our list and you would find out why.

First, the reason is that we wanted to include a travel trailer with the capacity to haul. We understand that some couples would love to explore their site with an ATV or bring along more heavy camping gear. Despite being small and lightweight, this trailer would haul 3 ATVs.

Surprising right? well, thanks to its anti-rust aluminum frame that guarantees durability and strength. Moreover, it only weighs 2,300 pounds.

There are about 7 series of this model with different sizes capable of sleeping between 4 – 7 persons.

Quicksilver VRV XTR 614 comes with a large bed and a convertible sofa bed. Other features include a dry bath, outdoor entertainment, a screened-in back ramp, refrigerators, and TV.

4. Forest River Flagstaff E-Pro E19FBS

Forest River Flagstaff E-Pro E19FBS travel trailer

  • 17-floor plans
  • Recessed ceiling LED 12-volt interior lighting
  • Driftwood interior
  • Power awning with adjustable rain dump and LED lighting
  • Fully aluminum frame (Floor, roof, and sidewall)
  • Vinyl/rubber composite roofing membrane
  • Interior Height: Unknown
  • Exterior Length: 20 Feet
  • Exterior Height: 9 Feet, 9 Inches
  • Wet Weight: 4,413 Pounds
  • Unloaded Vehicle Weight: 3,075 Pounds

This may not be the best as regards material selection, but there are a lot of advantages that make this camper stand out. We wanted to recommend a product for first-time RV buyers. This is one of the most affordable for anyone looking to own their first RV cheaply .

The only major con we found with this trailer is that the quality control isn’t as good as some other brands. The exterior materials are of lower quality or thinner than some of their counterparts. Well, this is nothing too much to be worried about because it is only based on the comparison.

The storage is moderate, and not too accommodating, but for couples, it should just be sufficient to pack all the needed gear.

There is a comfortable 60″ X 80″ queen bed, a sofa, a functional kitchen with a heat extractor, and a functional bathroom. It also comes with electrical appliances such as a refrigerator and TV set.

Forest River Flagstaff E-Pro E19FBS only sleeps two persons and weighs less than 3000 lbs.

  • It is affordable
  • Lightweight and easy to haul
  • Awning for outdoor shade
  • Not the best material selection

Cricket is not your usual camper; it is one of a kind and loaded with all features that will give you a romantic memory.

This tiny guy manages to include a full bed that can sleep two adults and 2 children and a kitchen.

Note that this is more like a tent, so you do not get to have all the features of a regular travel trailer. Haven said that – the only challenge is that it comes with a portable toilet and an outdoor shower rather than a functional convenience.

Cricket is extremely lightweight, weighing just 1,700 lbs.

  • There is a 2-year structural warranty
  • Can accommodate a small family of 4
  • Extremely lightweight and easy to haul
  • Roof pops up for improved ventilation

Checklist For Buying A Travel Trailer For Couples

RVs For Two Couples

If you still want to check out other options apart from the ones we have recommended here, we will advise that you take some of the following factors into consideration to help you buy right

1. The capacity of the trailer

We understand that you just want a travel trailer for you and your partner. However, you may want to make some futuristic considerations.

Rather than having to upgrade the unit or buy another camper when the children start coming into the game, you may want to consider buying a camper that will sleep more people.

At least, a camper that can conveniently sleep 4 persons would be a good one to start with.

2. The storage capacity

Some couples overlook this feature. We find it to be important because the more storage capacity, the more survival gears, and items you can bring with you for every journey. Make this criterion a priority if you would be camping for a longer period often.

Whether interior storage or exterior storage, as long as it can take everything you would need, it is just fine.

3. The weight of the trailer

If you do not want to bother about changing your car to a bigger one that can tow your camper , then you’d want to buy one that your present fleet can effortlessly tow.

Luckily, smaller campers recommend for couples are lightweight with the heaviest still under 3,000 lbs.

Go with any of our recommendations and you would not need to worry about this. Not forgetting to mention that there are also more advantages to going for a lightweight travel trailer which we already highlighted in a section of this article above.

4. How much space do you want?

Even though most travel trailers for couples are small and compact, some options are lightweight yet spacious. Depending on your preference, you can go for one that will give you and your partner enough floor space for fun activities.

No doubt, a spacious trailer would be more comfortable. You don’t always have to sacrifice portability for space. Small trailers can too be spacious if they have included a convertible bed and sofa that can go out of the way when transformed.

5. Consider four-season RVs

Not many people go on road trips or camps during winter . But if you and your partner are looking to explore all 4 weather, you may have to narrow your selection based on this factor.

All campers aren’t adapted for winter living . You would have to find one that offers durable insulation and a propane furnace that measures up with space. We have reviewed some of the best options; you may want to check them out and also check out the criteria for picking one.

The RV market has a lot to offer. Whatever you’re looking for, you can find – from RVs perfect for solo travelers to fifth wheels and toy haulers that can sleep a family of eight. But if you’re someone looking to camp with a partner, spouse or best friend, there’s a perfect couple’s coach for you.

In fact, couple’s coaches are one of the most popular subcategories of RV. After all, planning a trip for two is relatively easy, inexpensive, and more flexible than planning a trip with kids, extended family or a group of friends. Traveling with a partner is fun at any age – whether you’re young and freewheeling, taking a quick trip with a spouse or a new love interest, or enjoying the freedom that comes from being an older empty nester. No matter where you are in life’s journey,

RVing can be a romantic way to see more of the country with a special someone, conjuring up images of days spent exploring the beauty of nature together, and nights spent cozying up by the fire.

So whether you’re a snowbird looking for a couple’s coach to take down south for winter, or just someone who wants to plan a few long weekends this year, here’s our list of 2023’s best couple’s coaches from Heartland.

Best Travel Trailer Couple's Coaches

North trail.

At just 22 ½ feet long and about 4,500 lbs. dry weight, the North Trail 21RBSS offers maximum flexibility in towing. It’s easier to maneuver than a longer coach, and its ultra-lite status means you have more options for tow vehicles. And it’s got everything you need for a vacation from your everyday life, like a standard gel-infused king bed, kitchen with a 10.7 cu.ft. fridge, gas range with an oven, residential microwave, and the perfect table for two.

The full bathroom makes the most of the space with a corner shower, and a skylight and glass door amplifies natural light. There’s plenty of cabinet storage across the coach, and Super King Kong pass-through storage secures all your cargo down below. Blackout roller shades are ideal for restful sleep, and an outdoor kitchen is a great place to stash a coffee maker if you wake up early – because honestly, nothing is more romantic than letting your partner sleep like a baby.

Mallard M27

Mallard M27 covers off on the basics like a pro, and leaves the extras up to your discretion. For example, you’ll get a standard queen bed, a full bathroom, and a kitchen with everything you need to create a delicious meal. But there’s no TV – consider it a feature, not a bug – which makes it easy to reconnect by a board game at the dinette or by sitting outside by a fire and reminiscing about vacations past. (And you can always add your own, if you’re more of a movie night couple.)

There are two entry doors, one in the bedroom and one in the living area, giving you maximum flexibility to come or go, day or night. An overstuffed loveseat is the perfect place for cuddling up, with soft-glow backlit fascia that creates a bit of atmosphere. Outside, a power awning with LED lights makes a great patio space for relaxing during the day, while 67.5 cu.ft. of pass-through basement storage can hold everything you need to make nature your playground – like a kayak, cornhole, inner tubes, or whatever else makes you feel young at heart.

Mallard 210RB

Similar to the North Trail mentioned above, Mallard 210RB has a streamlined floor plan that makes the most of its shorter length and lighter weight. There’s a standard king bed in the front of the coach with a curtain separator for privacy, a full bathroom and a complete kitchen that can handle nearly any meal. Black, white and gray decor create a relaxing interior, with gorgeous marble-look, infinity-edge countertops in the kitchen and bathroom. Forced heated air and an enclosed underbelly give you the option to camp in cooler weather, extending your travel season, and solar panel prep lets you choose to add solar power to augment or replace your electrical hook-up. And at just about 4,500 lbs. dry weight, you can tow it with a variety of vehicles, including many SUVs.

Pioneer SS171

Another one of our smallest models, Pioneer SS171 comes in at 22 feet, 9 inches long and is perfect for two, even as it has room to sleep up to six. A standard queen bed is positioned horizontally to create a bit of extra floor space, with a wardrobe at the foot and cabinets above to hold personal items. The kitchen is functional but minimal, with a two-burner cooktop, microwave and double-door fridge, and a booth-style dinette sits along an extra large window that lets in lots of natural light.

A convertible jackknife sofa has a fold-down center console with cup holders, with a shelf above that can transform into an upper bunk at a moment’s notice. There’s a full bathroom, extra large water tank storage, and TV hookups in the bedroom area and outside, so you can install the equipment of your choice, if and when you please.

Pioneer RD210

Measuring less than 27 feet long and about 4,700 lbs. dry weight, Pioneer RD210 contains a surprising amount of storage. You’ll get 52 cu.ft. of LED-illuminated King Kong pass-through storage, plus a flip-down storage rack that’s perfect for holding bikes, firewood and coolers. The EZ Camp package provides a black tank flush, an outside shower with hot and cold water, an outside TV hookup and a lit, electric awning, so you can double your living space by creating an outdoor patio.

Inside, an Ultimate kitchen with solid surface countertops and a roomy stainless steel sink lets you prep and cook your favorite camp meals. The main bed is a full residential queen size, flanked by full-length wardrobes that offer bedside cubbies where you can charge your phone or plug in your CPAP machine. And across from the dinette, there’s a sleeper sofa facing overhead cabinets, where you’ll find a cable hookup and room to add your favorite TV.

Sundance 231ML

With the Sundance 231ML , you can treat yourself to a travel trailer couple’s coach experience that’s still streamlined but a little more luxurious. The standard queen bed fits under an arch of cabinets and wardrobe space, with built-in reading lamps on each side and extra under-bed storage. A residential-style tri-fold sofa transforms to a bed if you need it, and faces the dinette and TV, which is mounted to a televator so you can store it out of sight when it’s not on.

The kitchen contains a 10 cu.ft. stainless steel fridge, residential microwave, and flush glass cooktop with an oven. In the bathroom, there’s a shower with built-in shelving and a skylight, a medicine cabinet and a shelf with hooks where you can store towels and toiletries. Lots of overhead cabinets throughout the coach provide storage for food, linens and other daily items, while the Colossal basement storage with motion-activated LED lights lets you store your outdoor gear with ease.

Sundance 293RL

The Sundance 293RL is a respectable 34 feet long, and every inch of it is beautiful. Light and airy wood tones couple with gray upholstery, stainless steel finishes, and marble-look countertops to surround you in modern decor. The main bedroom features a queen bed behind a pocket door, giving you privacy to sleep or change into clothes stored in the hanging or underbed storage. You also get bedside tables with USB charging ports and blackout roller shades, so you can charge your devices while you sleep in. Or with sofas surrounding the electric fireplace and LED TV, you might choose to cozy up for late nights watching your favorite movies by the fire.

Moving into the spacious kitchen, an island houses the large, single-basin sink, which sits opposite the fridge, microwave and gas range with an oven. There’s a coffee bar along one wall, with tons of storage above and below, and a cushioned dinette where you can wake up slowly with a mug of something hot. And when it’s time to get ready for the day, take advantage of the bathroom with a glass shower, skylight, storage shelf, hooks, and cubbies for extra towels or toiletry bags.

Trail Runner

Starting with the exterior of the Trail Runner 27RKS , an awning creates 17 feet of shaded, covered outdoor patio space. Industry-leading Mammoth storage gives you 57 cu.ft. of fully finished pass-through space with radius-cornered baggage doors. Blue LED lights on the exterior speakers and under the coach create ambiance outside at night, before it’s time to turn in and enjoy the residential queen bed and oversized wardrobe on each side, offering CPAP storage and wireless charging stations.

The interior of the coach is decorated with modern farmhouse touches, including a pale wood-grain floor, white kitchen cabinets and dark hardware. A U-shaped kitchen provides efficient access to meal prep surfaces, a dual-basin sink, a 10 cu.ft. stainless steel fridge, an over-the-range microwave and a three-burner cooktop with an oven. The wrap-around dinette makes it easy to get close over a candlelit dinner, and ambient LED lighting around the ceiling helps set the mood. And in the bathroom, there’s a shower with dual glass doors and an overhead skylight, a foot-flush toilet, and private access to the main bedroom for maximum privacy.

Plus with a living area that has a couch, theater seats, a coffee table, tons of cupholders, a TV and a fireplace, you’ve got the ideal setup for visiting with nieces, nephews, grandkids or friends for the day – come rain or shine.

Landmark Chesapeake

You’ll find a similar configuration in the Landmark Chesapeake , which has the bathroom in the very front of the coach, tucked next to the bedroom for maximum privacy and space. It’s got the same walk-in wardrobe and washer/dryer closet, the same large tiled shower with teak seat, the same ample countertop space around the sink. The bedroom matches all the Newport’s amenities as well – because the biggest change to this floor plan is in the kitchen. If you’re particular about how you like your kitchen set up, take a closer look at the Chesapeake. Its U-shaped countertops help create the ideal triangle configuration for efficient prep and cooking flow, like by giving you tons of space to chop veggies and season a steak or two.

The cooktop and oven sit under a residential microwave, with a large single-basin sink to the right and a 20 cu.ft. French-door fridge that dispenses water and ice against the opposite wall. There’s even a separate space carved out for a coffee bar (or a bar bar, up to you) which people can access without getting in the way when you’re cooking. Once your feast is ready, get comfy in the living area at the dinette table, loveseat or sofa, all of which face the entertainment system that features a TV, electric fireplace and sound system to help set the mood for a delicious night in.

Elkridge 32RLS

Elkridge models have a reputation for giving you standard features that other brands would charge extra for, and the Elkridge 32RLS is no exception. You’ll get tons of technological amenities, like a big screen TV with a built-in sound bar, USB charging ports and wireless charging stations, and Winegard Air 360+ with prep for satellite TV and WiFi. With the 40-inch fireplace and theater seating, you’re ready to enjoy an epic movie night. The kitchen includes a 14.9 cu.ft. residential fridge with a 1000w inverter – a crucial detail if you love camping off-grid.  There’s also a three-burner cooktop and generous 22-inch oven, plus a 30-inch over-the-range microwave.

There’s plenty of kitchen and living room storage, too, in the form of a pantry and cabinets that keep your things secure, even in motion. In the bedroom, you’ll find a standard king bed with underbed storage, night stands, walk-in wardrobe, washer/dryer closet, dresser and blackout roller shades – and an option to add another TV. In the adjacent bathroom, you’ll find a glass, marble-look shower with a skylight, a porcelain foot-flush toilet and lots of storage for towels, toiletries and toothpaste.

Elkridge 38FLIK

The Elkridge 38FLIK is another floor plan with a roomy, raised living area in the front of the coach, perfect for hosting friends on game day, doing some floor stretches or creating an impromptu bunkhouse. Three separate seating areas face a 40-inch fireplace and a large TV with a built-in soundbar and HDMI port. You’ll get the satellite and WiFi prep mentioned above, thanks to the Winegard Air 360+, as well as wireless and USB charging so you can keep your devices juiced up. Next to the living area is a self-contained kitchen, featuring a table for four, a coffee bar, and an island that helps provide plenty of counter space.

You’ll also get a stainless steel fridge and freezer, a gas cooktop and air fryer oven, a residential microwave and a walk-in pantry that can hold all your favorite goodies. The bathroom fits a linen closet next to a glass shower with built-in shelves, resulting in a bit more floor space and room to move than other models. Mirrors on the cabinets reflect natural light from the skylight to keep things bright and airy. A slide in the bedroom gives you room to maneuver around the standard king bed, while underbed storage helps keep clutter at bay. There are also cabinets around the room, dual wardrobes, and a dresser with surface space and drawers, so you’ll have tons of room to store clothes for warm and cool weather alike – and that means longer adventures with your favorite person.

If we had to pick one word to describe the Milestone 326RL , it would be spacious. Starting with the bedroom at the front of the coach, you’ll get a spacious closet with a spot for a washer/dryer, room to access the standard king bed on all three sides, and large dresser drawers to store your things in. A spacious bathroom has a glass shower, a nook for the toilet, a linen closet and a medicine cabinet, plus plenty of floor space to move around in.

In the kitchen, a corner pantry provides tons of walk-in space to stash your non-perishables, while a spacious , 14 cu.ft. fridge with a wine cooler holds your groceries and your favorite beverages. That’s in addition to the 30-inch microwave, range with a 21-inch oven, and spacious stainless steel, single-basin sink with a pull-out faucet big enough to handle all your pots and pans. A dinette table seats four, and has a clear eyeline to the 50-inch TV and fireplace in the living area, where you’ll also find plenty of comfortable seating and an equal number of fold-out cup holders. There’s truly space for everything, including the perfect spot to snuggle up and get a little closer by the fire.

Best Toy Hauler Couple's Coaches

Couples that play together stay together, or at least, that’s what the Cyclone 3511 would tell you. With an 11-foot garage, it’s roomy enough to fit your favorite motorized toy, or quite a few non-motorized ones – mountain bikes, kayaks, an ATV, a golf cart – it’s up to you. There’s a half-bath tucked into the corner of the garage, and a 60-gallon lockable onboard fuel tank will keep you riding trails between trips to the gas station. Plus, the garage ramp converts to a patio, making the perfect place to share a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine at night.

In the combination kitchen and living space, you’ll get a microwave, three-burner cooktop and our exclusive air fryer oven, plus a French-door fridge that can hold enough food for a nice, long trip. In place of a table, you’ll find fold-out stools at a counter bar where you can take your meals, or you can choose to take your plate to an overstuffed sofa and get comfortable. The bar also features a televator – so you can stow the TV away to use the surface during meals or to access the window behind.

If you’re wondering where the fireplace is, take a look in the bedroom, where you’ll find it at the foot of the bed, poised to help create a romantic oasis from the outside world. A tilting king bed is flanked by generous wardrobe storage, cubbies, and drawers, with a swift space work station that converts the dresser to a desk when you need to get some work done. And in the bathroom, you’ll get a glass shower with built-in shelves, a skylight and a hand-held sprayer, ready to help you rinse of dust from the trail at the end of a long, fun day.

Road Warrior

Road warrior 3965.

If you’re the kind of person who likes to sleep late or go to bed early, Road Warrior 3965 has the perfect bedroom for you. A standard king bed comes with two overhead lights and a nightstand on each side, perfect for people who love to read. A 32-inch TV mounted near the ceiling lets you watch late night shows in bed, and there’s private access to the en suite bathroom, mimicking the feel of a hotel room. You also get tons of wardrobe and overhead storage in the bedroom, and an ample linen closet in the bathroom, so you can step out of the glass shower with a rainfall showerhead and always have a clean, fluffy towel at hand.

Of course, if relaxing in bed isn’t your (only) thing, you’ll love the 15-foot garage and 60-gallon lockable fuel station, which combine to let you tie down and transport your motorized toys and keep them fueled up while you’re away. The garage also features its own separate entrance, overhead loft space, a power-raising queen bed and a half bath, which makes it ideal to use as a private bedroom, office or exercise studio. There are fold-down bench seats you can convert to a garage dinette, and when you convert the ramp door to a patio, there’s a convenient set of bonus steps off the back.

In the kitchen, you get tons of counter space and cupboard storage, and an 18 cu.ft. gas/electric fridge, a 30-inch microwave, a gas range with our new air fryer oven, and a roomy farmhouse sink. Along the side wall, there’s reclining sofa seating that faces the TV and fireplace, making it a great place to enjoy a bowl of popcorn and your favorite movie.

Road Warrior 4275

The Road Warrior 4275 goes a step further to give you an unprecedented amount of private outdoor space. You’ll get all the conveniences of a toy hauler – a 13-foot garage, 60-gallon fuel station, power raising queen bed, and ramp door that converts to a patio – with a secondary side patio off the kitchen that doubles your elevated outdoor space. A power awning provides plenty of shade, and private steps on both the rear and side patios let you come and go easily. There’s another set of steps to the garage (great for accessing the half bath), as well as the stairs at the main entrance, which means you’ve got four entry/exit points on this floor plan.

Similar to the Road Warrior 3965, there’s a standard queen bed, second TV and tons of storage space in the bedroom, plus private access to a spa-style bathroom with a glass shower, multi-head shower sprayer and skylight. An 18 cu.ft. French-door fridge gives you plenty of space to stock your favorite foods, while the U-shaped kitchen provides the counter space and appliances you need to whip up something delicious – including a 30-inch over-the-range microwave and a stainless steel cooktop and oven. Stools fold out from the counter to give you a place to eat meals, while a five-seat reclining sofa lets you stretch out and enjoy the 50-inch LED TV and electric fireplace at night.

What makes the Gravity 3610 an ideal couple’s coach? Well, for one thing, the 14-foot garage and 30-gallon lockable fuel station give you plenty of room to secure and haul your favorite motorized toy and keep it gassed up for hours of fun. The garage has overhead loft storage space, a power drop-down queen bed, a secondary dinette and a half bathroom, making it the ideal space to spread out, host guests or build your ideal office. You can also convert the ramp door into a rear patio with the included rail kit, which creates an outdoor space that’s fenced in, so you can keep an eye on pets or small children while you do other things.

The U-shaped kitchen features tons of cupboard and pantry storage, and a residential fridge, microwave and cooktop with our exclusive new air fryer oven. There’s a half-booth dinette table for meals, and a comfy reclining sofa that faces the 50-inch TV with JBL ® Hi-Fi speakers and a subwoofer. On the way to the bedroom, a linen closet sits opposite the full bathroom with a large shower lit by skylight, and a toilet with a foot flush – the perfect place to store extra towels and sheets. And in the bedroom, a standard king bed comes flanked by nightstands that offer wireless charging and a place to rest a glass of water, while a mirrored wardrobe and overhead cabinets give you plenty of space to stash clothes and shoes for two.

When it comes to bedroom floor space, Torque 373 is an overachiever. An east-west tilting king bed helps create 30 percent  more room to move around, and a walk-in wardrobe, washer/dryer closet, and drawers keep clutter neatly tucked away. There’s even a swift space work station you can transform in an instant to a desk – a nice touch for remote workers. In the bathroom, you’ll find a spacious bathtub with a skylight, and a shower removable hand-held shower sprayer – so you can choose a long soak or a quick wash-up, depending on your mood. And cabinet storage and a porcelain toilet help make the bathroom feel like what you have at home.

In the living area, there are two reclining sofas facing LCD TV mounted above the kitchen, with fold-out stools that let you belly up to the kitchen counter and use it as a table. The kitchen comes with tons of countertop space, including a coffee bar, as well as a 10.7 cu.ft. fridge, three-burner range and oven, and a residential-sized microwave for cooking meals. Stepping into the garage, you’ll pass a half bathroom tucked under a rear-facing loft that provides bonus sleeping or storage space. And with 13 feet of length, the garage can fit your favorite motorized toys and secure them via the frame-welded tie downs included in the floor and walls. Finally, a power queen bed raises or lowers as needed, and split bench seats can transform to a dinette or fold out of the way so you can access the rear ramp patio.

Best Travel Trailer Toy Hauler Couple's Coaches

Looking for a bigger garage space? Torque T285 gives you 16 feet to park your ATV, side-by-side, dirt bikes and more, plus a 30-gallon lockable fuel station to keep their tanks full. There’s a raising queen bed with bench seats that fold out to create a dinette – plus a fabric screen you can lower to keep the back patio open even as you keep bugs out. Bench seats and two reclining chairs in the living area are easy to move and rearrange so you can get the perfect view of the LCD TV mounted in the kitchen.

And for meals, take advantage of the 8 cu.ft. double-door fridge, three-burner range and residential sized microwave to whip up something tasty, then wash up in the deep basin sink with a high-rise faucet. A standard king size bed in the bedroom includes reading lights mounted overhead, plus wardrobe space for two and ensuite access to the bathroom, where you can enjoy relaxing in a spacious glass shower lit with natural light.

Coming in under 30 feet long, Lithium 2414 is one of our smaller toy haulers, with the 14-foot garage comprising nearly half its length. But once you’ve untied your motorized toy from the frame-welded tie downs and backed it down the garage ramp, you can transform that space into a living area in mere moments. The ramp door becomes a rear patio, while fold-up sofas unfurl to become dinette seating or a bed for guests. A streamlined kitchen still provides everything you need to make meals – including a three-burner gas range and oven, a convection microwave, a 10.7 cu.ft. fridge and freezer, and a double-basin stainless steel sink with a high-rise faucet.

Tucked into the front of the coach, the bedroom features a standard king bed with nightstands and overhead wardrobe storage on both sides, plus private access to the bathroom. The shower comes with built-in shelving and a convertible, hand-held sprayer, plus a medicine cabinet where you can store loose items to keep them in place while you’re on the road.

So what do you think? Have any of our top 2023 couple’s coaches caught your eye? We hope that no matter which couple’s RV you choose for you and your travel partner, it provides many amazing adventures – and memories – for years to come.

4 Best Travel Trailers for Couples in 2022

Travel trailer at sunset

Many couples long for the open road, but too many of them let that dream remain a dream.

For those of you looking to purchase your first trailer or upgrade your current trailer, here are several choices that I consider to be the best travel trailers for couples.

2021 Best Travel Trailers for Couples

1. 2021 Grand Design Imagine 2250RK 2. Forest River Flagstaff E-Pro E19FBS 3. Coachmen – Freedom Express 259FKDS 4. 2021 Keystone Cougar 22RBS

2021 Grand Design Imagine 2250RK

2020 Grand Design Imagine 2250RK

Grand Design is well-known for its 285-point pre-delivery inspections. Their campers are often better designed and overall more reliable than much of their competition. The 2250RK is one model from their lineup which I believe most couples will appreciate.

What doesn’t work for one situation can work perfectly for another. This layout is a good example of this truth. The bathroom separates the bedroom from the rest of the camper. If the 2250RK housed more than three people, it would be a source of constant frustration. Owned by a couple, it becomes a nice buffer for those early bird/night owl combinations. There are three living separate living spaces within this unit. Let’s go over each of them.

Living Area

It’s the classic combination in a not so classic configuration. The dinette and the kitchen are usually placed on opposing walls with a small pathway between them. In the 2250RK, they place the kitchen at the rear of the camper which gives it a large area for its counter-tops, three-burner stove, oven, microwave, and a plethora of storage cabinets. One side of the nearby wall space is occupied by two theater seats which oppose a fireplace, counter, and a telescoping 40″ TV. The theater seats are fully featured and double as a couch. They come with cup-holding armrests and pop-out leg rests. The theater seats heat, they massage, and they are super comfortable. If you want to convert it to the couch, simply lift the center armrests and its done.

No Dining Table

It isn’t something that you see too often, and I have mixed feelings about it. It is annoying to not have a table to place your plates and random belongings, but it opens up a lot of space. It pairs with the unique layout to create an almost residential size of space where you can comfortably stretch. After a little adjusting, I don’t think most people will miss the table. There are nearby alternative surfaces, kitchen counters, and an end cabinet, so I think what you gain is worth the cost of what you lose.

This unit comes with a single slide that houses the refrigerator, the pantry, and the fireplace. It is such a great use of the space, and you should definitely check it out by using the Grand Design website’s 3d viewer. It’ll make you a fan.

The Bathroom

The Grand Designers created a nice bathroom. The size of the room and placement of the fixtures leaves plenty of space. You won’t feel cramped on the toilet and the shower is tall enough to fit 99% of you.

The Bedroom

The bedroom is basic, but each component looks clean and feels like quality. The storage is what you might expect. His and hers hanging closets rest at opposing sides of the queen bed (60″ x 80″). Storage sits above the bed, and an over-sized bin works as the bed’s support. There isn’t a TV, but it is prepped for both TV and cable. If you want to do some reading, there are reading lights.

Forest River Flagstaff E-Pro E19FBS

Flagstaff E-Pro Trailer

The E19FBS isn’t right for everybody. In fact, in most cases, I would recommend another unit because the Forest River targets a specific audience. These units are best for first-time RV buyers that want to enter the lifestyle but cannot afford the higher-tier units. The quality control isn’t as good as some other brands, and the materials are often, but not always, lower quality or thinner than some of their counterparts. However it still makes our list as one of the best travel trailers for couples.

I love the design. Yes, it is short, so this is a game of sacrifices. It has an open floor plan, so it successfully keeps the unit from feeling claustrophobic even though it is only 20′ long.

Minimal would be a good way to describe it. You do have several spots for storage, but none of it will add up to a comfortable full-time living level of storage. Keep that in mind if you want a seasonal unit rather than a weekend-camper.

The Bed

If the front of the unit is considered north, the queen bed is to that north. They size it at 60″ X 80″, so it is a residential queen rather than the commonly short-changed RV version. You do have some storage both above and below. The storage above the bed is netted and the lower storage is smaller than most under-bed storage compartments.

The Kitchen

To the east, you will find the kitchen. There isn’t much counter-top space if everything is uncovered and in use. However, if the stove’s connected glass cover is closed, the added surface makes the space manageable.

The oven is great! I’ve seen a lot of larger RVs that have ovens that can’t fit much more than a tray of muffins. You have a bit more space with this camper’s oven.

It’s plastic; the whole thing: toilet, shower, shower curtain, and the sink. It’s also a bit on the small side, so there will not be a lot of room to stretch out. If the shower curtain was glass, your knees would probably uncomfortably pressed up against it. However, all of that is expected at this price point, so don’t hate on them too much. The silver lining is that this is a full bath unit which isn’t a given for a unit this size.

Coachmen – Freedom Express 259FKDS

2023 couples travel trailer

A new year brings new models, and in the case of the Freedom Express line, a new floor plan. The 259FKDS is a fresh take on one of the classic front-kitchen designs. With this fresh take, the 259FKDS brings several needed improvements that have frustrated many otherwise enjoyable weekends. This model comes from Coachmen’s ultra-lite luxury line of travel trailers. The lightweight design, great features, and the comparatively low price point create a fantastic entry point for a wide range of prospective buyers.

Easy To Haul

The combination of a short, lightweight trailer that sits on wide-stance axles makes this a super easy to haul. The wider stance, in a way, gives the driver training wheels by making the trailer pull like a smaller unit. This unit doesn’t come with a backup camera, but it is prepped for it, so that should be easy enough to upgrade.

Amazing Storage

I feel like a broken record by saying this again, but it has great storage. Correction, it has incredible storage. Not only is there storage in every nook and cranny of this camper, but there is a full-through exterior compartment. You don’t normally get one of those on front kitchen designs. That is one of the improvements to this type of floorplan that I was talking about earlier.

Outdoor Kitchen

Another blueprint improvement is the existence of an outdoor kitchen. It’s all there: a cabinet, a large sink with a high-rise faucet, and a medium-sized mini-fridge. Everybody loves a bit of outdoor grilling, and Coleman conveniently included one of their high-quality grills too. There is also a small pocket of space for some storage. Haylett RV suggested placing a small container of utensils in that spot which is a fantastic suggestion.

Indoor Kitchen

It’s fully equipped and nearly as convenient as a residential kitchen. It has great storage and amazing pantry space. The counters are large and the stainless steel double-basin sink has a high-rise faucet. You have the typical cooking appliances: oven, microwave, and three-burner stove.

Room to Stretch

Whether you are tall or wide, this space should work for you. Unless the slides are closed, you should be very comfortable in all of its spaces. The tall 6’9″ ceiling, spacious floor plan, and comfortable seating will welcome almost any size or shape.

I said spacious, and I meant it. The porcelain foot-flush toilet isn’t cramped and the shower with the classy glass door takes full advantage of the tall ceilings. You get some nice storage and somewhat decent counter space.

They managed to fit in a king-size bed. Don’t ask me how. It barely fits, but it does leave enough room to make your way around its edges. Most trailers this size do not have this size of a bed. However, most trailer bedrooms aren’t designed for anything but the bed and storage, so you aren’t really losing any true functionality. I actually like this bedroom’s design more than most units. They still managed to designed to keep it feeling open. There are several large cabinets over the head of the bed, to the sides, and past the foot of the bed.

At the foot, there is a lot of shelving space where the TV is installed. Of course, that comes with all the typical entertainment hookups.

2021 Keystone Cougar 22RBS

Keystone Cougar

Keystone has made one of the best small trailers available today. The 22RBS is a large trailer in a little trailer’s body. It has inherited the big-bodied genetics of the larger trailers but somehow managed to contain them within a very small 25’11” frame. As we go through each of the features, you will see how time after time this trailer exceeds all expectations.

Four Season Camping

Small trailers are very rarely built to withstand the colder temperatures. Thanks to a plethora of weather-related features, the 22RBS cannot only stand a chilly day, but it is rated for zero-degree temperatures. It has a heated and enclosed underbelly, a radiant barrier, and tank heaters. The furnace lines that warm the trailer are set next to the waterlines so that they can take advantage of the radiating heat.

All of that is great for keeping the cold out and the heat inside the trailer. What about if the interior is already at an uncomfortable temperature. If that’s the case, you will be happy to know that the 22RBS includes a 15,000 BTU air conditioner and the 35,000 BTU heater. Between those two, no matter the weather, you will be able to quickly transform any uncomfortable situation into something much more comfortable. It is incredible that the 15,000 BTU is a standard feature. If it was any other brand of trailer, this would definitely be an upgrade. This is a benefit that is included thanks to Keystone’s standardization practice; one of several.

Even though this is considered a lightweight trailer, which it is, it has the 2-inch sidewalls of a heavyweight. It’s a great money saver if you plan on using those costly environmental controls.

If you like a nice breeze on a summer day, you will be happy to know of the many windows that you can find around the unit. Some of the windows are quite large too. The trailers slide is almost entirely composed of them. They are all tinted too, so you will still have the privacy that most of us desire.

Short and Sturdy

The chassis and axles are supremely overpowered which says great things that its ability to withstand all of the potentially damaging effects of time and weight. It also means that you will be able to have a massively increased cargo capacity. Thanks to one of the best uses of storage space; you will have plenty of ways to take advantage of it.

I know I keep bringing this up on each unit, but it is important. There is a TON of storage space. It’s fantastic that there are so many places for storage because the chassis and axles opened the ability for us to make even more room for storing items. In addition to all of that space, you also get the largest hanging closet that I’ve seen in quite a long time. It’s been noted that you could, and people have, fit an entire refrigerator in there.

Any cooks out there should start celebrating. You might just have the best kitchen for a unit of this size. Big counter-tops, lots of storage, three-burner stove, an oven, a double-basin stainless steel sink with a high-rise faucet, a microwave, and all of it just looks fantastic.

In Command App

Your touchscreen command center can connect to your phone. Anything that you would normally control from the panel is accessible from your pocket. It’s super convenient, and I am happy to say, becoming increasingly common across all RVs.

  • Fresh: 60 Gallons
  • Exterior Height: 11 Feet, 4 Inches
  • Exterior Length:25 Feet, 11 Inches
  • Shipping Weight: 1,593 Pounds
  • Gross Combined Vehicle Weight: 7,200 Pounds
  • 70″ x 80″ King-size bed
  • Large 4K TV on Articulating Mount
  • 3-Inch Solid Door Frames
  • Related Floor Plans: 13
  • MSRP Price: $36,217

10 Best Lightweight Travel Trailers For 2023

  • RV Trailers and Motorhomes

The Rove Lite small travel trailer. (Image: travelliterv.com)[/caption]

Consider the GVWR (not the UVW)

Many RV manufacturers tout the UVW (unloaded vehicle weight) of their trailers. But adding cargo like fresh water, propane tank(s), food, clothing, bicycles, and other camping equipment to the trailer can add hundreds of pounds to that UVW number.

GVWR is the weight to know when buying a trailer for a lightweight truck or passenger car tow vehicle.

Knowing the GVWR of small campers is the key to safe towing on road or while off-the-grid camping. Now, let’s dive into our list of the best lightweight travel trailers for 2023.

The 10 Best Lightweight Travel Trailers (Under 6,000 Pounds GVWR)

Best Travel Trailers For A Couple Reviews

While considering the best travel trailers for a couple we also kept in mind things like lightweight towing characteristics.

We recognized that if you only need to sleep two people, that you can get away with a slightly smaller, and lighter travel trailer that can be pulled by a typical midsize SUV.

Of course, we also realize that a lot of couples love some extra elbow room.

So, we also made sure to include some larger models that might also need a full-size pickup truck to tow them.

Here are 6 of the most comfortable and luxurious camper trailers for a RVing couple:

  • Coachmen – Freedom Express LTZ 252RBS
  • Forest River – Rockwood Mini Lite 2506S
  • Airstream – Flying Cloud 23FB
  • Coachmen – Apex Tera 16T
  • Cruiser RV – Radiance R-25RK
  • Dutchmen – Coleman Rubicon 1608RB

1. Coachmen – Freedom Express LTZ 252RBS

Coachmen - Freedom Express LTZ 252RBS

  • Length of 29.58 ft.
  • Dry Weight of 5,822 lbs.
  • Payload Capacity of 1,778 lbs.
  • GVWR of 7,600 lbs.
  • Hitch Weight of 672 lbs.
  • Total Fresh Water Tank Capacity of 50.0 gallons
  • Total Gray Water Tank Capacity of 35.0 gallons
  • Total Black Water Tank Capacity of 35.0 gallons
  • 13,500 BTU Air Conditioner

On paper, the Coachmen – Freedom Express LTZ 252RBS travel trailer can sleep up to 6 people, though once you set foot in it, think you’ll agree that it’s set up best for a couple.

Then you can use things like the convertible dinette booth and the hide-a-bed sofa for times when you might want to have a guest or the grand kids sleepover. If anything the hide-a-bed might let one of you get a good night’s sleep, even if the other one is snoring like a chainsaw.

One of the other features that appeal to couples looking for a travel trailer is the large entertainment center that can be adjusted toward the dinette or the sofa. This lets you watch TV while you eat, or lets you both snuggle up to watch a movie. There’s even an artificial fireplace, to help warm things up on an unseasonably cool summer evening.

The kitchen set up in the Coachmen – Freedom Express LTZ 252RBS is nothing short of impressive and will be a true joy for a couple who loves to cook. The midship kitchen includes a dual basin sink, a large RV refrigerator, a three-burner stove, and a microwave.

There’s also an exterior kitchen with its own reach-in RV refrigerator, slide-out sink station, and a griddle. This lets you cook meals outside to keep from competing with the robust 13,500 BTU rooftop RV air conditioner.

2. Forest River – Rockwood Mini Lite 2506S

Forest River - Rockwood Mini Lite 2506S

  • Length of 25 ft. 11 in
  • Dry Weight of 5,528 lbs.
  • GVWR of 6,974 lbs.
  • Hitch Weight of 644 lbs.
  • Total Fresh Water Tank Capacity of 52.0 gallons
  • Total Gray Water Tank Capacity of 60.0 gallons
  • Total Black Water Tank Capacity of 30.0 gallons
  • 35,000 BTU Heater

The Forest River – Rockwood Mini Lite 2506S is a compact travel trailer that has a lot to offer a traveling couple who prioritize creature comforts. This starts with a very thoughtful layout that sets the queen-size master suite at the back, a midship bathroom, and a living room that combines seamlessly with the kitchen.

When you consider that the queen-size master suite has its own TV, it means that you can both have a snuggle area to watch TV. Yet you also have some space with the additional TV in the living room where you each might wants some “Me Time.”

It also helps that the U-shaped dinette converts into a comfortable bed for those times when one of you just won’t stop snoring.

The exterior of the Forest River – Rockwood Mini Lite 2506S is also very well-thought-out. There are two exterior storage bays to let you keep your essential camping gear when you are on the move.

They also serve as hatches to stow your soiled shoes and outdoor gear to help keep the interior of the travel trailer neat and tidy.

You also get a 17-foot long awning, as well as an outside kitchen for those hot days when you don’t want the heat of cooking a meal to compete with the 13,500 BTU RV air conditioning system. Two things that might go understated, but should are benefits with this couples travel trailer is the heating.

This starts with an artificial fireplace in the main living room to help warm you both up on a cool summer night. Then there is also a 35,000 BTU propane furnace that comes as standard.

This makes the Rockwood Mini Lite 2506S one of the best travel trailers for a couple who loves to camp in the mountain or in cool fall weather.

3. Airstream – Flying Cloud 23FB

Airstream Flying Cloud 23FB

  • Length of 23.75 ft.
  • Dry Weight of 4806 lbs.
  • Payload Capacity of 1,194 lbs.
  • GVWR of 6,000 lbs.
  • Hitch Weight of 467 lbs.
  • Total Fresh Water Tank Capacity of 37.0 gallons
  • Total Gray Water Tank Capacity of 37.0 gallons
  • Total Black Water Tank Capacity of 17.0 gallons
  • 18,000 BTU Heater

Airstream is one of the iconic all-American travel trailer brands . They originally made their name selling models that catered to the needs of couples and small families. So we would be remiss if we didn’t include a model like the Airstream – Flying Cloud 23FB on our list of best travel trailers for a couple.

It has all the styling and looks of the “Classic” Airstream travel trailer, though it doesn’t carry the uber-high price tag. Instead, you get a travel trailer that is cozy for a couple, yet light enough that a robust midsize SUV or full-size SUV can tow it.

Just make sure to compare the gross weight to the maximum towing capacity of your vehicle.

The living quarter at midship combines the kitchen and living room together in one flow-thru layout. The queen-size master suite sits at the front and includes a privacy curtain that you can draw for those times when one of you wants to go to bed early.

The bathroom is stashed in the back and includes a full shower with plenty of elbow room. The six-gallon water heater in the Airstream – Flying Cloud 23FB is a little bit on the small side and probably won’t leave you enough hot water for both of you to take back to back showers.

Though you could very easily remove it to gain more space and install a tankless water heater. While this idea runs a little bit against the classic grain of Airstream’s tradition, it makes sense for a traveling couple and is easy to do.

4. Coachmen – Apex Tera 16T

Coachmen - Apex Tera 16T

  • Dry Weight of 2,860 lbs.
  • Payload Capacity of 940 lbs.
  • GVWR of 3,800 lbs.
  • Hitch Weight of 330 lbs.
  • Length of 19.67 ft.

When you take a moment to look at the specifications of the Coachmen – Apex Tera 16T there’s a lot for a traveling couple to like.

Right off the bat, the maximum gross vehicle weight rating of just 3,800-pounds means that a couple can pack this travel trailer to the gills, and it will still be comfortable within the towing capacity of most midsize SUVs .

Though just because it’s light doesn’t mean that this couples-friendly travel trailer is stripped down. While the interior is compact, like you’d expect from a 19-foot long camper, you still get a full-size bed in the rear, a complete dry bath, and a complete kitchen.

There’s even a 6-cubic foot RV absorption refrigerator, which will keep enough food for two people, and a comfortable dinette for you both to eat meals together. The exterior of the Coachmen – Apex Tera 16T is also well-appointed. You can’t go more than a few paces without coming across a storage compartment to let you keep your personal items separate.

There’s even an outdoor camp kitchen that lets one person grill the meat outside while the other prepares the side dishes in the midship interior kitchen.

The fresh and wastewater storage tanks on the 2022 Coachmen – Apex Tera 16T are also very large for a camper this compact and lightweight. With 50 gallons of fresh water and a pair of 35-gallon wastewater tanks, a couple can be supported nicely for several days of boondocking without having to resupply.

5. Cruiser RV – Radiance R-25RK

Cruiser RV – Radiance R-25RK

  • Length of 31.33 ft.
  • Dry Weight of 6,140 lbs.
  • Payload Capacity of 3,252 lbs.
  • GVWR of 9,440 lbs.
  • Hitch Weight of 640 lbs.
  • Total Fresh Water Tank Capacity of 44.0 gallons
  • 30,000 BTU furnace

The Cruiser RV – Radiance R-25RK is the true heavyweight on this list with a dry weight of 6,140 pounds and an impressive payload capacity of 3,252 pounds. When it comes to towing this means that you and your significant other need a full-size SUV or half-ton pickup to tow this travel trailer with confidence.

Assuming you’ve got the tow vehicle then what you are treated to is one of the best travel trailers for a couple that prioritizes elbow room. Right off the bat, you’ll notice a king-size bed in the front of the Cruiser RV – Radiance R-25RK.

On each side, there are his and hers nightstands and a wardrobe closet. Below it is a full belly storage system.

Not only does this boost the staggering payload capacity, but it also makes the weight of the travel trailer biased toward the tongue, where you want it. The nicely appointed kitchen sits at the back and has its own second door. This also provides the midship living room with tons of space and perfectly positions the entertainment center opposite a comfortable loveseat.

6. Dutchmen – Coleman Rubicon 1608RB

Dutchmen - Coleman Rubicon 1608RB

  • Length of 20.7 ft.
  • Dry Weight of 3846 lbs.
  • Payload Capacity of 958 lbs.
  • GVWR of 4,840 lbs.
  • Hitch Weight of 525 lbs.
  • Total Fresh Water Tank Capacity of 46.0 gallons
  • Total Gray Water Tank Capacity of 28.0 gallons
  • Total Black Water Tank Capacity of 28.0 gallons

The Dutchmen – Coleman Rubicon 1608RB is another one of the best compact lightweight travel trailers for a couple who wants to be able to tow it without investing in a gas-guzzling full-size pickup truck.

Completely empty it only has a dry weight of just 3,880-pounds. Yet it still has enough cargo capacity of up to 980-pounds to let each of you bring all your essential items and camping gear.

The interior of the Dutchmen – Coleman Rubicon 1608RB is cozy, without feeling cramped. There’s a queen-size bed at the front, which sits over a pass-thru storage compartment.

The midship love seat sits opposite the kitchen and entertainment center. There’s a portable indoor/outdoor table that lets you eat a meal together and catch your favorite shows.

In the back, there’s a full-size bathroom, that is connected to the 46-gallon fresh water tank and a pair of 28-gallon wastewater storage tanks.

This gives a couple the capacity to camp off the grid for a day or two, though the Coleman Rubicon 1608RB is probably a better travel trailer for couples who like to stay at an RV park with easy access to resources.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it worth it to upgrade the water heater.

One of the biggest complaints you find in a couples travel trailer is that most come with just a 6-gallon hot water heater.

This usually means one person gets a nice hot shower and the other gets a lukewarm shower where the hot water runs out.

Not to mention being short on hot water to wash the dishes. Some travel trailers make it easy to upgrade the hot water heater, though many simply don’t have the available space.

If you both love to take long hot showers, you might want to consider investing in a tankless water heater .

Not only will it give both of you on-demand hot water, but it will also open up more storage space when you remove the old 6-gallon tank.

Do Travel Trailers Under 25 Feet Have King Size Beds?

Many of the best travel trailers for couples end up being under 25-feet long.

This usually gives you a model that you can tow easily with an SUV or a light-duty pickup truck.

Though a compact travel trailer like this typically only offers a queen-size or a full-size bed in the master suite.

If you and your significant other prioritize a king-size bed, you might need to start shopping models that are longer than 25-feet long.

How Much Water Storage Does A Couple People?

The average person staying in an RV who is being conscious about their water consumption will go through about 6 to 7 gallons of water each day.

When you double that up for a couple, you are looking at about 12 to 15 gallons of water per day.

If your travel style has you boondocking off the grid for a typical two-day weekend , you should prioritize travel trailers that have at least a 25 to 30-gallon fresh water storage tank and matching grey water tank.

Which RV Trailer Is Right For You And Your Partner?

There are a lot of great travel trailers for couples on the market today.

Finding the best one for you and your significant other will depend on your travel style, as well as how much elbow room you both need.

Of course, you also need to factor in your tow vehicle to make sure you can safely pull the travel trailer you prioritize.

If you have an SUV and you want a camper that’s easy to tow, without having to upgrade your vehicle then the Dutchmen – Coleman Rubicon 1608RB and the Coachmen – Apex Tera 16T might be the best travel trailer to meet your needs.

Both are lightweight and compact when you drive down the road, without being cramped when you park up at your campsite.

If you and your significant other love to spread out, and you have a full-size pickup truck with the horsepower to pull it, then the Cruiser RV – Radiance R-25RK might be the best travel trailer to meet your needs.

Not only does it have an impressively wide-open interior, but you also get a king-size bed with his and hers wardrobe closets.

30 Best Lightweight Travel Trailers Under 5000 Lbs Review 2023

Photo of author

In this article, we included a review of the best RV manufacturers and selected some of the best floorplans for lightweight travel trailers under 5000 lbs that we have for 2022 and 2023. We review the specifications of some of the best 10 brands of travel trailers on the market today , with very different floorplans. We discuss trailer models for all tastes: ultra lite travel trailers under 5,000 lbs for couples, floorplans with bunk beds, single side-out or no slide-out, full dry baths, outdoor kitchens, starting prices, etc. And all options of lightweight travel trailers under 5000 lbs. We will also differentiate between GVWR and dry weight (UVW) options. Let’s move on!

In alphabetical order, we will see the following brands of travel trailers with recommended floorplans for couples, families, and friends. Some of our favorite manufacturers for their excellent quality RVs, such as Grand Design RV, were excluded only because we focus on the weight of travel trailers under 5000 lbs.

  • Forest River
  • Highland Ridge
  • Riverside RV

We reviewed floorplans of campers perfect for couples and travel trailers with bunk beds, including affordable, spacious, and lightweight campers under 5000 lbs.

Let’s see the Review with the Best Ultra Lite Travel Trailers Under 5,000 lbs for 2023 (GVWR and UVW). Specifications. Walkthrough Videos and Floorplans.

Airstream Travel Trailers Under 5000 lbs  – Bambi & Caravel

Particularly, I am not a fan of Airstream because I prefer travel trailers with slide-outs and more space inside, and I am not a fan of the stainless-steel interior. The more space, the better. But I must admit that the attractive shiny, silver, metal exterior with those classic retro camper rounded lines is very appealing.

Many of our RVer readers definitely prefer to pay more for the distinctive design that Airstream travel trailers offer. So, we have included some floorplans of the Bambi and Caravel travel trailer models of 5000 lbs GVWR or less.

Below you will find the differences in the specifications of the 2023 Airstream Bambi and Caravel models with the lightweight travel trailer options.

  • Airstream 2023 Bambi 19CB
  • Airstream 2023 Bambi 20FB
  • Airstream 2023 Bambi 22FB
  • Airstream 2023 Caravel 19CB
  • Airstream 2023 Caravel 20FB
  • Airstream 2023 Caravel 22FB

The Airstream Caravel and Bambi units appear quite similar in weight and length. Both weight and length are key when deciding to purchase a travel trailer. We must be sure if it is possible to tow the travel trailer, and this relates to the GVWR, which is the equivalent of the weight of the travel trailer when the manufacturer ships it, plus the interior weight added when we use it (also known as cargo or maximum load capacity).

Regarding the length of the travel trailer, this directly impacts the maneuverability we will give to our towing vehicle along with the attached travel trailer.

In general, for travel trailers under 5000 lbs GVWR, we do not have to worry much about the length since, usually, ultra lite travel trailers are under 25 feet, generally about 20 feet (small travel trailers and ultra lite, with some exceptions on the market).

ultra light Travel Trailers Under 5000 Lbs Review 2023

While the external appearance of the units, floorplans, and specifications of the Airstream Caravel and Bambi are quite similar, the starting price is significantly different between the lightweight travel trailers under 5000 lbs 19CB, 20FB, 22FB Caravel, and Bambi, with prices of $74,000 and $59,300, respectively.

Below you can see the floorplans of the 2023 Caravel 19CB, 20FB, and 22FB models, all lightweight travel trailers under 5000 lbs GVWR, with better construction details and finishes than those found on the 2023 Bambi 19CB, 20FB, and 22FB models .

Airstream caravel Floor Plans Best Travel Trailers Under 5000 lbs GVWR for 2023

The following chart summarizes details we want to highlight about the weight specification and exterior length of the selected Airstream floorplans for Ultra Lite Travel Trailers under 5,000 lbs.

In terms of the weight specifications of the Airstream floorplans selected for this review, there are no major differences, and they are all lightweight travel trailers under 5000 lbs (and precisely 5000 lbs GVWR) with only a few inches difference in length.

Although capable of sleeping up to 4 people, due to their limited interior space, the 19CB, 20FB, and 22FB Airstream Caravel and Airstream Bambi floorplans are a great choice for couples looking for maneuverable and lightweight travel trailers.

If you are into the retro camper style that offers Airstream, the 2023 Caravel 22FB is one of the Best Travel Trailers Under 5000 lbs for 2023.

Here is a Walkthrough Video 2023 Airstream Caravel 22FB.

Let’s move on to our next selection. Forest River’s brands.

Forest River Options: Best Travel Trailers Under 5000 lbs with Bunk Beds or Just for Couples for 2023

Let’s see Forest River Trailers Under 5,000 Lbs. In this search for the best lightweight travel trailers under 5000 lbs , we selected several floorplans. Forest River’s Rockwood Geo Pro and Flagstaff E-Pro brands offer several reasonably short, lightweight, and versatile travel trailer floorplans under 5000 lbs with and without bunk beds under 22 feet.

  • Rockwood Geo Pro G20FBS: Ultra lite Travel Trailer for Couples
  • Rockwood Geo Pro G20BHS: Travel Trailer Under 5000 lbs with Bunk Beds
  • Flagstaff E-Pro E19FDS: Lightweight Travel Trailer for Couples
  • Flagstaff E-Pro E16BH: Travel Trailer Under 5000 lbs with Bunk Beds

The following chart summarizes the weight specification and exterior length of the selected Forest River Trailers Under 5,000 Lbs.

The 2023 Rockwood Geo Pro G20FBS and Rockwood Geo Pro G20BHS models have very similar specification weights and dimensions. Also, the floorplans are similar, with the main difference being the sleeping capacity.

The 2023 Rockwood Geo Pro G20FBS is one of the best lightweight travel trailers under 5000 lbs for couples on the current market. As you can see in the floor plan below, at the right of the entry door is a full-size bed (54” x 74”) with enough space to walk around. Across is a kitchen fully equipped to the right and a large sofa in the single side-out with a comfortable TV view. The rear full dry bath has a foot flushable toilet, a walk-in shower with fabric curtains, a skylight, a vent system, and a hand basin with over-the-head cabinets around. Also, a griddle kitchen is outside a 14-ft long awning, and three exterior storage compartments. The 2023 Geo Pro G20FBS offers a great floor plan for couples.

ultra lite Travel Trailers Under 5000 Lbs Review 2023

The main difference between the Geo Pro G20FBS and G20BHS is the Geo Pro G20FBS travel trailer has double bunk beds. That allows for increasing the sleeping capacity at the cost of a considerable reduction in the interior space of the bathroom, which lacks a hand basin in the camper. The full-size bed loses the walk-around space we mentioned in the Geo Pro G20FBS model. And the slide-out is larger, resulting in a slide-out booth dinette.

Next, let’s review the 2023 Flagstaff E-Pro E19FDS and Flagstaff E-Pro E16BH which are excellent travel trailer options under 5000 lbs.

Again, in this review, we include one of the best under 5000 lbs campers for couples we currently have on the market, the 2023 Flagstaff E-Pro E19FDS travel trailer. Unlike the Rockwood Geo Pro G20FBS, the Flagstaff E-Pro E19FDS is a travel trailer with a Murphy bed (full size 54′ x 74″) that allows for comfortable sleeping at night and easily exposes a 72″ long couch during the day. The kitchen is extended in the single slide-out. The opposite is a booth dinette with a 32” TV. The entire rear of the trailer is occupied by the large dry bathroom that is fully equipped. Outside, the E-Pro E19FDS is equipped with a griddle outdoors, four exterior compartments, and a 14-foot-long awning.

E-Pro E19FDS travel trailer with a murphy bed under 5000 lbs review

The Flagstaff E-Pro E16BH offers a floorplan completely different and one of the best travel trailers under 5000 lbs that sleep up to 4. This camper is great for camping with your family. The Flagstaff E-Pro E16BH starting price is $36,943 (MSRP), and the sale price is about $29,980, depending on many factors.

best travel trailers under 5000 lbs with bunk beds review GVWR

When you’re done eating, playing games, or watching TV, the Flagstaff E-Pro E16BH travel trailer provides sleeping room for four between the 30″x74″ bunk beds in the back and the 54″x82″ bed made from the U-shaped dinette up front. The single slide-out with the stove, microwave, and 12V refrigerator will also provide the chef with a bit extra floor room.

Everyone will feel refreshed after using the big bathroom, and storage space is throughout the room for your possessions. Don’t forget to use the external storage compartments while loading the outdoor gear, the outdoor griddle for cooking, and the 12′ power awning when seeking shade from the sun. Also, the E-Pro E16BH is a great choice for those looking for a bunkhouse travel trailer under 20 feet .

The KZ RV 2023Escape E231BH is also a great option for couples looking for their first RV for full-time living .

More Travel Trailers Under 5000 lbs to Consider (and to NOT Consider!)

Let’s see a few more campers under 5000 lbs. All these below are travel trailers with very different floorplans. Let’s review Solaire Ultra Lite 208SS, 2023 Sonic Lite SL169VUD, and Winnebago Mini Minnie travel trailers and see which ones are recommended and which one is definitely not recommended.

Palomino has the 2022 Solaire Ultra Lite 208SS, a great option for those not looking for bunk beds. Let’s be honest; bunk beds are no longer comfortable when kids grow up. Plus, they may not be with you on every trip. So, it wastes the space you need to be comfortable.

I do believe Solaire Ultra Lite 208SS is a great floorplan for couples looking for an RV for full-time living and a great balance between a moderate exterior length and weight. For all that, we highly recommend the Solaire Ultra Lite 208SS as one of the best lightweight travel trailers under 5000 lbs (UVW dry weight) and less than 25 feet long. We expect to see specifications and floor plans updated for 2023 from Palomino.

travel trailer under 5000 lbs

Venture 2023 Sonic Lite SL169VUD travel trailer (starting price: $28,000) is another great option, with a sleeping capacity of up to 4 people and an exterior structure under 22 feet. As you can see below in the floorplan, the 2023 Sonic Lite SL169VUD travel trailer is equipped with an outdoor griddle kitchen outside , a pass-thru storage compartment, and a 13 feet electrical awning.

This SL169VUD travel trailer under 5000 lbs has a front 60” x 75” bed, a booth dinette slide-out, and a rear full dry bath next to the double bunk beds. The interior space is incredibly well utilized. It is a great option at an attractive price if you are looking for a travel trailer with bunk beds and an outdoor kitchen, ultra lite, and easy to maneuver.

Venture 2023 Sonic Lite SL169VUD review 5000 GVWR bunkhouse under 22 feet

Finally, one of the options we reviewed by request of our readers, but we definitely don’t recommend it. Let’s review the Mini Minnie 1700BH.

Winnebago has a lot of fans. For Winnebago’s fans, the Mini Minnie 1700BH is a good option for those looking for a camper under 5000 lbs with bunk beds. A divider curtain may offer some privacy to the front bed. Although this camper includes a dry bath, it is not a full bath (no hand basin). The bunk beds are shorter than usual.

Many readers keep asking us to review the Winnebago, especially the Mini Minnie floorplans. As for comfort, consider that this is a camper without slide-outs. So expect something accordingly. The interior spaces are quite cramped and are not compensated with a longer trailer length. This is a 21 feet long travel trailer. The finish of the furniture and materials seems a bit cheap. Actually, we don’t think that this floorplan presents any advantage over the campers reviewed in this article. Also, if we compare the starting price of about $37,000, you will definitely pay more for less comfort. That’s our humble opinion.

All of our reviews are based on exhaustive research, industry experience, and whenever possible, hands-on testing. When you make a purchase using one of our chosen links we’ll receive a small percentage of the proceeds. This supports the site and keeps Jeffsetter running. You can read more here .

Finding the best travel trailer for a couple can be hard – there are just so many different types of RV and travel trailers on the market! Shopping around for the best travel trailer for you and your partner? Whether you’re happily married or just beginning your romantic journey together, finding the ideal travel trailer for your camping trips matters!

Travel trailers are not every family’s first choice when going camping. Often, they do not offer their large families very much room. However, it is possible to find a travel trailer for couples, and we’ve saved you the time of hunting around by revealing our best finds in this blog! So if it’s just you and your significant other hitting the road, the travel trailers on this list will be your Cinderella slipper!

But what should you be looking for when it comes to a travel trailer for couples? Thankfully, I have the experience and know what to look for, since I live full-time in a 19-foot vintage travel trailer with my high school sweetheart and our dog.

Travel trailers are amazing homes on wheels for couples, and going on a journey is what they are made for!

What Are The Pros And Cons Of Travel Trailers For Couples?

So, your partner wants the two of you to take a trip together. Sounds great, and like a magical new experience for the both of you to share together!

You decide camping in an RV will be your best bet to have a safe and fun time, and you’ve chosen a travel trailer as your style of rig. But what about travel trailers makes them a good choice for couples?

Pro: Trailers Can Be Left Behind

The main perk of travel trailers in my book is their ability to be left at camp. If you’re on a journey, seeing new sights, the last thing you want is to travel in an overly large motorhome or camper. The best part of a travel trailer is the ability to leave it behind! Once you unhitch your RV from your vehicle, you’re free as a bird!

Pro: Towable Vehicles Offer Flexibility

No matter what specific type of travel trailer you look at, you need to be prepared for one very important detail: your trailer must be towed. This might not be what you are hoping for, but there are a lot of positives to towable travel trailers versus motorhomes. However, driving with a towable rig can be a little difficult , so you may consider this a con.

Pro: They Are Lightweight

Another perk of travel trailers is their lightweight design . Motorhomes and coaches guzzle diesel fuel or gasoline , a huge drawback if you are only planning a small budget for your upcoming trip. Some travel trailers are so light that you can tow them with the smallest of cars, which means you won’t have to worry about renting or borrowing someone’s large truck to tow your new rig!

Con: Travel Trailers Are A Small Space For Couples

If you’re a fairly new couple, or you know that you both value time and space away from one another, a travel trailer may feel like fairly tight quarters . If you aren’t prepared to always be in one another’s space, a travel trailer may not be a good fit for you. No matter how long the trip, travel trailers never feel like they have enough space!

However, there’s always the great outdoors if you’re looking for some time and space to reflect, and the travel trailer will be there when you are feeling relaxed and ready to be cozy with your partner!

Con: Some Trailers Are Expensive For A Tiny Space

RVs in general are a large investment, and some travel trailers with branded names such as Airstream, can cost an arm and a leg too . The high price tag for such a small space can initially be a surprise. But the price is often due to the innovation, time, and design process of creating campers that are small, yet still contain everything a couple traveling in a travel trailer could possibly need.

What Are The Types Of Travel Trailers?

So you’re feeling confident that a travel trailer is the right move for the two of you as a couple. How exciting! However, what type of travel trailer is best suited to couples?

All travel trailers are towed behind a vehicle using classic ball hitches. But how else do they vary from one another?

Let’s take a look!

Classic Travel Trailers

The most classic travel trailer you can get may be the right fit for you. And that’s because there are so many different fits!

A classic travel trailer is towed behind your vehicle using a ball hitch and ranges in length from 10-35 feet. These classic trailers often have four tires total and are the most traditional setup when it comes to the interior (bedroom, bathroom, living area, kitchen). Slideouts are also a popular feature on nearly all newer travel trailers .

Given the range of length, weight, and specifications possible on classic travel trailers, it’s recommended you check out all of the necessary weight requirements before purchasing one. Some trailers require a heavy-duty truck for towing, despite their small size, but if you don’t own a truck, it may be worth exploring a rental option if possible . My vintage rig may only be 19 feet long but given its old metal frame, I need a V8 truck to tow it!

A classic travel trailer may give you both the space you want, but make sure your vehicle can tow it!

Toy Hauler Trailers

Looking for a home on wheels that will also transport all of your other recreational toys? A toy hauler does exactly what it says in the name, and may be a good choice for you and your partner if you have a lot of other fun vehicles!

Toy haulers are towable rigs and some of the largest travel trailers out there . They come with a fold-down ramp often at the back end of the trailer, perfect for wheeling out your ATVs, motorcycles, jet skis, and whatever else you can fit back there!

These trailers are designed as a half garage, half living space, with various different layouts affecting the style. The sky’s the limit in terms of customizing your toy hauler but at the end of the day, you need a vehicle that can tow it!

Toy haulers are often the heaviest of travel trailers, as they are carrying even more vehicles inside of them! These are the peak of recreational vehicles, allowing you the maximum amount of entertainment possible, but just make sure you can handle the weight!

Teardrop Trailers

Now that you’ve seen the biggest travel trailer options, let’s take a look at the smallest: teardrop trailers! These little guys are amazing for those of you hoping to tow with your small car, as most teardrops weigh less than 1,000 pounds to tow! What a great idea, making a camper so little! This also means it will be easy to store at your home. What’s the catch?

As I’m sure you might’ve guessed, these trailers are tiny. So much so that for the most part, teardrop trailers only have enough space for a mattress inside. A kitchen is often built off the back of the trailer, which means your cooking must be done outside. There are never bathrooms, which could be a deal breaker for some of you new campers out there.

Still, there are some very small travel trailers that  do  have bathrooms and I put together a list of my favorite here . The smallest of these is only 14′ so if you want to go small but don’t want to skip the bathroom check out that list.

However, teardrops are amazing little trailers and are so easy to tow! Their kitchens are often high-tech and amazing to have while camping, and I can’t think of a better trailer to bring along on short road trips or wonderful weather outings. If you’re not afraid to snuggle up, a teardrop trailer may be a perfect choice for you and your partner!

Pop-Up Travel Trailers

Unconcerned about the elements and looking for the best of both worlds when it comes to trailer towing? How about a pop-up travel trailer , which brings the best of towing, size, and budget to you?!

Pop-up trailers are inconspicuous at first, residing inside a flat, easily towable frame. When you arrive at camp, the canvas sides can pop up to create your camper, much larger than teardrops and lighter weight than toy haulers or classic travel trailers. It is a perfect combo of RV and tent and is recommended primarily for camping where the weather is nice.

Some pop-ups even have more rigid sides to their tents in order to better your experience if camping in a colder climate. Given the extra interior space, some pop-ups include bathrooms and living spaces, and usually, always have a kitchen. This may make pop-ups a good fit for you and your partner.

How Much Space Should Travel Trailers For Couples Have?

This may be the trickiest question you and your significant other must answer before purchasing a travel trailer: how much space do the two of us need to comfortably enjoy our time in our new travel trailer? This is a question only the two of you can answer together, but there are some things to consider before making your final decision.

The most important thing lending to your comfortability in a travel trailer is the layout of the space . The options are endless in terms of layouts in classic travel trailers, but you will find yourself much more limited once you look into the layouts of teardrops or pop-ups. Size matters, and you may find that the best way for you and your partner to be comfortable is to have a bigger rig.

Another thing to consider if you’re trying to save space without sacrificing comfort is how long you plan to stay in your trailer . Are you only buying a travel trailer for weekend camping trips? Or are you planning a long cross-country road trip ? Or even more insane (like me), are you hoping to live in your travel trailer full-time!? This may affect your ultimate decision on how much space you feel the two of you need.

One last thing when it comes to space saving is packing less . No matter how long you plan on staying in your travel trailer, the amount of stuff you bring with you affects how much living space you will have. A trailer’s layout can even be negatively affected if you bring too much stuff! Keep your packing light, even when you’re hoping to stay prepared.

Tips For Couples Living In A Travel Trailer

Whether it’s a long and planned road trip or a quick weekend away, there are always stressors involved with towing and living in a travel trailer. Here are some easy and quick tips so you and your partner can enjoy your time in your new travel trailer!

Make A Packing List

It’s so stressful to forget something before going camping, and a travel trailer may have a more involved packing list than you’re used to! Take the time to make a packing list together before heading out. But remember, space is limited, so try to pack everything neatly!

Choose To Spend Time Together And Apart

This has been the most valuable thing I’ve learned living in a trailer with my partner. When space is limited inside, it’s tough to not always feel on top of each other. Take the time to go on a walk on your own, or carve out a portion of the day for doing separate activities if you find the trailer too cramped!

Practice Driving With The Travel Trailer

Driving a travel trailer can be a very stressful situation, let alone backing in and parking the thing! Practice this with your partner before you hit the road. Hand signals are amazing when backing in a trailer, and usually lead to less shouting at one another once you reach camp (take it from my experience)!

8 Best Travel Trailers For Couples

So you’re feeling comfortable being in close quarters with your partner and know what the two of you are looking for? Here comes the best part: shopping for your new trailer! If you’re not up for renovating a vintage rig (like me and my insane partner), here are some of the best travel trailers for couples on the market.

Best Classic Travel Trailer for Couples: Micro Minnie 1708FB by Winnebago

micro winnie for couples

  • MSRP : From $37,182 USD
  • Exterior Length : 19′ 5″ – 22′ 5″
  • Exterior Height : 10′ 5″

A mainstay and a family name, Winnebago has been regarded as one of the best in the RV business for quite some time. They aren’t reinventing the travel trailer wheel, but the Micro Minnie 1708FB is a comfortable classic I know me and my partner would enjoy, all with an affordable price tag!

I like that this is a relatively affordable option as RVing costs plenty already! There are also 10 floor plans to choose from ranging in size from 19 feet to 25 feet if the Micro Minnie plan doesn’t tick all the boxes. No matter what, these trailers remain lightweight, easy to tow, and comfortable inside; ideal for keeping couples happy on the road.

Winnebago has thought about where to place windows for the best cross breezes, as well as keeping the kitchen and living area open, which helps keep the space light and breezy. When I’m parked in a stunning spot in the wilderness, I like to spend more time outside my trailer than in it! This Winnebago takes things up a new level as it comes standard with  patio speakers, a motorized awning, and slick LED lighting at the touch of a button.

The additional exterior storage means it’s easy to get packed away and move onto a new spot. Since the Micro Minnie’s dry weight is just over 3,000 pounds, it’s a lightweight rig, but will likely still require a sizeable towing vehicle.

The price on this trailer can’t be beaten, and it’s definitely one of, if not THE most budget-friendly RV on this list. If you’re hoping to start your travel trailer journey with tradition and budget in mind, the Micro Minnie is perfect for you and your significant other!

Best Toy Hauler for Couples: The Quicksilver VRV XTR 614 by Livin’ Lite

quick silver for couples

  • MSRP : From $25,769 USD
  • Exterior Length : 19′ 1″ – 33′ 9″
  • Exterior Height : 10′

I didn’t even know toy haulers could be made so small until I found Livin’ Lite’s designs. The Quicksilver VRV XTR 614 is an impressive travel trailer, as is the entire Livin’ Lite line. They all boast an anti-rust aluminum frame, which means these toy haulers are lightweight and built to last many generations.

The VRV XTR 614 is only 2,300 pounds and can haul two adult ATVs, perfect for the adventurous pair! It may start off a bit spartan in its layout, but Livin’ Lite leaves the specifications up to the RVer, with loads of add-ons. Some of these include a dry bath, outdoor entertainment, a screened-in back ramp, and uniquely designed fold-up furniture.

The other great thing about Livin’ Lite’s customizable design is the ability to have many different sleeping options. Even though it’s just me and my partner, I like the option to design the trailer with up to two tip-out bunks, leaving us with extra space for when friends and family meet up with us on the road.

Finding a toy hauler at just over 19 feet long means this trailer isn’t too intimidating to tow, yet still offers couples plenty of space to live and travel comfortably in each other’s company. The only downside for me is the price tag, as it’s pretty high, especially for those wanting to customize lots of features. However, it may be worth the investment for two adventurers looking for a lightweight option with many different layouts and trailer types available!

Best Teardrop Trailer: The Classic Teardrop Trailer by Timberleaf

classic tear drop

  • MSRP : From $24,150 USD
  • Exterior Length : 14′
  • Exterior Height : 5′ 5″

The name itself can’t be beaten when it comes to teardrop trailers, and Timberleaf knows teardrops like no other. Their Classic model is everything I can imagine a teardrop trailer to be, with even more customizable options than I thought possible in such a small space! It’s also attractive, which can be hard to find with RVs, as they are commonly kinda ugly!

Coming in at 1,500 pounds dry, this little guy can be towed by almost any standard vehicle.  However, I think the main perk of ordering a Timberleaf trailer is their attention to the suspension. The Classic Teardrop can come in 3 different suspensions, varying depending on the expected level of adventure. I love that there’s even a totally off-road option, as there’s no better feeling for me, than being able to park alone in nature, away from distractions and the stress that often comes with city life!

There’s no bathroom with this teardrop, but there is an amazing kitchen off the back. Fully customizable, the galley is a stunner and there’s no sacrifice in terms of comfort (except I must admit, a dishwasher!). The interior itself is clean and fits a queen bed which is perfect for couples. It includes tons of storage so that both parties don’t have to worry about bringing too much.

The best part of the Classic Teardrop for me has got to be its large skylight over the bed. Bringing the outdoors in, this skylight is the biggest offered in the teardrop industry, and I couldn’t even imagine how beautiful the night sky looks through it. What better way to feel romantic than that!?

Best Pop-Up Trailer for Couples: The Cricket by Taxa Outdoors

cricket trailer

  • MSRP : From $38,543 USD
  • Exterior Length : 15′
  • Exterior Height : 6′ 11″

I have to start off by saying that this is not your typical pop-up trailer. In fact, this little guy is the most unique trailer on this list fulfilling a classic category! The Cricket pop-up travel trailer by Taxa Outdoors is made for adventurers, outdoor enthusiasts, and designers. How can it please all of these types of people? Through one-of-a-kind building and design.

First off, this little guy is tiny: it’s only 15 feet long and less than 7 feet across and weighs 1,700 pounds dry. Can you believe that!? While there are countless non-standard features, the Cricket comes built out with a full bed, kitchen, and loads of storage for such a small space. It also has an included cafe table, a standard entry door, and a back hatch that opens, allowing even more of the outside in, which is something I love to see with trailers.

The roof pops up, as is the way of the pop-up travel trailers, allowing an extra 3 feet of headroom and windows! These little guys can also come with a portable toilet, outdoor shower, and awnings to make the most of the outdoor camping experience . I like the additional option of roof racks, as these are ideal for holding adventure gear, but these aren’t part of the standard package.

What else can be said about Cricket, besides its eye-catching good looks? It may be at the higher end of the budget and be a bit too unique for the average camper, but if you and your partner are up for the challenge, this little pop-up might be exactly what you’ve been searching for. I think it’s potentially one of the best travel trailers for couples, especially those seeking more immersion in nature.

Best Overall: R-pod RP-180 by Forest River

rpod trailer

  • MSRP : From $25,503 USD
  • Exterior Length : 20′
  • Exterior Height : 9′ 7″

As an Oregon state camp host, I see these little R-pod trailers everywhere. Ranging in size from 17 feet to 20 feet, r-pod trailers are all the rage right now. I can’t help but wonder why, and now I know. Forest River has been in the business a long time, and they know what RVers are looking for, especially couples camping!

The R-pod RP-180 is the smallest trailer of this model that still comes with a bathroom. I had no idea how lightweight they could be, coming in at under 3,000 pounds dry! 18 feet shouldn’t be too difficult to control on the road, and you’re getting every amenity you need for you and your significant other. However, there are around 11 different floor plans to choose from, most all very lightweight and easy to tow.

With a powder-coated steel frame able to resist corrosion, this trailer requires little to no maintenance, but I’d still advise winterizing over the cold period! It can also be designed and ordered with many upgrades such as an entertainment system, solar panels, and even a screened-in awning. This is a game-changer for me, as I love to spend as much time as possible outside, but this can be difficult if the sun is beaming down or it’s raining.

With an awning, one easy-to-operate slide-out, and boasting tons of interior and exterior storage, this trailer is a comfortable camper for exciting cross-country road trips for couples. Even if you’re simply camping for the weekend, this R-pod has everything needed to provide a cozy space to enjoy the great outdoors, all on a relatively affordable budget!

Best Mid-Range Option: Sunset Park RV Sunray 149

  • MSRP : From $26,849 USD
  • Exterior Length : 16′ 2″
  • Exterior Height : 9′

Built on a powder-coated steel chassis, the Sunset Park RV Sunray 149 , is a travel trailer well-suited to couples, offering an immaculate blend of durability and comfort. This trailer comes in at a relatively mid-range price, yet somehow doesn’t lack any features. There’s even a 100W solar kit installed to make off-gridding possible for a few days, so you and your special someone can enjoy some time under the stars together.

With a portable speaker and LED lights, it isn’t hard to create an ambient mood in the Sunray 149, and with several color choices, it’s possible to create the aesthetic you and your partner want. I’ve mentioned before how much I love to camp out in nature, and the option of adding off-road tires to this trailer makes this even more possible – just try and avoid dry rotting!

The roof rack has a 500-pound capacity alone, so there’s no need to leave adventure gear behind – couples can bring along whatever equipment they want, without having to worry about making the interior space of the camper feel cramped, messy, or disorganized.

Although there are several different floor plans available with the Sunray, I chose to add the 149 to our list of the best travel trailers for couples as it includes a toilet! Not everyone is happy to grab a shovel and head into the woods, and bathroom time in an RV can be awkward and tricky to navigate. Having a private space to go to the restroom helps make everyone feel comfortable, especially if you’re a couple in the early stages of a relationship!

Best Luxury Teardrop Trailer For Couples: Nucamp TAB 320 S

Tab Camper

  • MSRP : From $41,615 USD
  • Exterior Length : 15′ 3″
  • Exterior Height : 7’8″

There are plenty of reasons why this Nucamp TAB 320 S is our best luxury travel trailer option, not just the high price tag! This trailer definitely isn’t a budget-friendly travel trailer option for couples, but it is jam-packed full of high-end finishes and detailing to make any RVers feel like they’re in a sleek, modern, space, such as the deluxe Ohio-Amish cabinetry and glass top stove that acts as additional countertop space when the stove isn’t in use.

The galley kitchen is surprisingly sizeable, and the U-shape dinette cleverly converts into a spacious bed when it’s time to rest after a long day of hiking in a forest or bathing in natural pools. I like the full wet bath, and can’t believe Nucamp managed to fit so much in such a small space!

I travel in my trailer no matter the weather. Even if it’s scorching or freezing outside, I’ll be in my trailer, hunkering down somewhere! This can get hard, especially when camping in summer , so the central air conditioning and power roof fan are game-changers that will definitely make for happier couples on the road!

The only downside to this trailer in my eyes is the price. But with such a modern aesthetic, classic teardrop shape, and abundance of features, you do get a lot for your money with the Nucamp TAB 320 S, making it hard to resist this luxury!

Smallest Travel Trailer For Couples: Happier Campers HC1 Studio

2023 couples travel trailer

  • MSRP : From $39,950 USD
  • Exterior Length : 13′ 5″
  • Exterior Height : 7’9″

It was hard to pick a title for this travel trailer, as it’s one of the most innovative creations I’ve seen in the RV trailer world, but it’s also the smallest option on our list! Don’t be put off by the humble size of this Happier Campers HC1 Studio trailer , however, because with a queen size bed, bathroom, and kitchenette, it still has everything needed to be one of the best travel trailer options for couples out there!

Now, let’s get into the sheer innovative masterpiece that is the Happier Campers signature Adaptiv modular system with a unique rear hatch. Beyond the bathroom is a space that can be configured in whatever way suits you best at that time, whether it be a dining area, lounge space, or comfy queen-size bed – all it takes is a bit of reshuffling, and voila !

I can picture how perfect the rear hatch would be at a beach-side location, where the salty ocean breeze can dance through the trailer. The rear hatch is such a wonderful feature in this camper, and it truly brings a new meaning to bringing the outdoors in, as a new sheltered space is effectively gained through opening the hatch, as shown in the video below:

This Happier Campers HC1 Studio has d-rings and tie-downs for transporting items securely, which is one of my golden rules for towing any vehicle safely.  With a 17-gallon fresh and 17-gallon gray water tank, the HC1 holds a substantial amount of water, however, this may not be enough for several days off-grid in the mountains, so I’d advise bringing another container along just in case!

Finding the best travel trailer for couples is a big task, but hopefully, our list has brought some clarity with exactly what you and your partner need from a travel trailer. My biggest piece of advice would be to practice towing, know how much you can fit, and bring a nice bottle of wine as a treat after you’ve finished setting up camp! The two of you can only grow closer with a travel trailer in your life.

12 Best Travel Trailers for Couples for 2024

The beauty of the best travel trailers for couples for 2024 is that they can be just about anything. It’s just you and your partner, and the travel trailer that becomes your new home doesn’t have to adhere to anything other than what you, as a couple, want and need.

Here is a variety of popular choices within the industry and, hopefully, one of these will become your next home on the road.

1. Heartland Sundance 231ML

Sundance XLT 231 ML Exterior

Our Pros and Cons

✅ Large curtain that draws across the bedroom, offering privacy when needed

⛔ Some people don’t prefer the kitchen in such proximity with the bathroom

  • Length: 26′ 11”
  • UVW: 5,090 lbs
  • CCC: 2,410 lbs
  • GVWR: 7,532 lbs
  • Tongue Weight: 532 lbs

The Heartland Sundance 231ML has everything a couple needs in a relatively lightweight travel trailer. A spacious kitchen, plenty of R&R space, a large privacy curtain for when guests are staying over, a large kitchen, and a sizeable shower/bathroom setup.

The marine-grade flooring is an excellent choice, especially for the slide. If you like the feel of carpet underneath your bare feet, you’ll have to shop for some rugs. The dinette is large and converts into a bed for guests, while the sofa also converts, opening up the potential for 6 to sleep comfortably.

2. Oliver Legacy Elite II

Oliver Legacy Elite Exterior - travel trailers for couples

✅ One of the most durable travel trailers on the market, by far

⛔ Lack of storage is strange, considering the Elite II is a 23′ camper

  • Length: 23′ 6”
  • UVW: 1,300 lbs
  • CCC: 3,700 lbs
  • GVWR: 5,000 lbs
  • Tongue Weight: 370 lbs

All Oliver travel trailers look pretty much the same, inside and out. However, these are incredibly durable travel trailers. Olivers are all fiberglass, with two inner shells and two outer shells, connected to an aluminum frame and stuffed with insulation.

A lot of RVers have to deal with water leaks from time to time, and that’s something Oliver excels at avoiding.

The interior is as sterile (in terms of aesthetics) as the exterior, though that opens the door for a ton of personal, creative customization options. The interior of the Oliver Legacy Elite II is very spacious, as the floorplan on offer.

Counter space is as extensive or minimal as you want, since every major piece of furniture shifts or folds in one way or another.

3. East To West Alta 2400KTH

East To West Alta 2400KTH Exterior

✅ Happi-Jack w/bunk over the garage is perfect for guests

⛔ King is large, but the mattress hangs over the edge of the bed by about 6″

  • Length: 28′
  • UVW: 7,305 lbs
  • CCC: 4,042 lbs
  • GVWR: 11,385 lbs
  • Tongue Weight: 985 lbs

Some couples don’t like to sit at home all day, preferring adventure and mobility instead. For those with an adventurous itch, the king bed, East to West Alta 2400KTH is the perfect choice. As a toy hauler, you can bring your favorite ATV, dirt bikes, kayaks, SUPs, and/or mountain bikes, along for the ride.

At 14′ deep, the garage will accommodate a lot. As far as clear space, away from the kitchen appliances, you have about 6′ x 6′ for a mid to small size ATV.

Once you get your toys out, dual-opposing couches fold over into a bed, and the Happi-Jack Bunk drops down to convert the entire back end into a massive bunk bed setup!

4. Coachmen Apex Nano 191RBS

Coachmen Apex Nano 191RBS Exterior

✅ Plenty of storage space inside and out, with pass-thru, pantries, cabinetry, and more

⛔ Lacks counter space and could really use a flip-up extension

  • Length: 21′ 8”
  • UVW: 3,446 lbs
  • CCC: 1,254 lbs
  • GVWR: 4,700 lbs
  • Tongue Weight: 406 lbs

If you like to pack a lot of gear for the trip, the Coachmen Apex Nano 191RBS is a good fit. There are storage options all over the place. Boondocking and going off-grid requires plenty of storage, especially if you want to go off-grid for a while.

It’s not exactly a purely off-grid model, but it’s close, with plenty of opportunities to bring in some third-party components and accessories.

It comes with space for dual 20-gallon propane tanks and room for a two-battery setup. Azdel sidewalls and a fiberglass front cap up the durability factor, with Goodyear Wrangler tires for leaving the asphalt.

It’s also sitting on a fully boxed frame and an exterior that will accommodate any cooking or power conveniences you need.

5. Airstream Bambi 19CB

Airstream Bambi 19CB Exterior - Travel trailers for couples

✅ One of the most loaded campers of this size on the market

⛔ The Bambi is known for being troublesome when backing up and parking in reverse

  • Length: 16′ 1”
  • UVW: 3,050 lbs
  • CCC: 450 lbs
  • GVWR: 3,500 lbs
  • Tongue Weight: 450 lbs

The Airstream Bambi is definitely the bougie option in the the travel trailers for couples category. With a reputation that precedes it, Airstream took everything you expect to find in a traditional size and successfully made it micro.

The first stand-out thing you’ll notice is the panoramic front window for those adventurous scenes out in the middle of nowhere.

Airstream did a great job maximizing space by including a tankless water heater setup on the exterior, storage options integrated with the furniture, a compact kitchenette, a corner-split, folding door for accessing the bathroom, and a corner bed that shares the back end with a corner bath.

Everything about the Bambi defines attention to maximum storage without sacrificing amenities.

6. Safari Condo Alto F2114

2023 couples travel trailer

✅ All the windows open to 90° and come with day/night shades

⛔ With this much tech, you’d think the awning would be a power awning—nope

  • Length: 13″
  • UVW: 2,356 lbs
  • CCC: 1,144 lbs
  • Tongue Weight: N/A

The Safari Condo Alto F2114 is one of those hybrid lightweight travel trailers that straddles a number of lines, including teardrop, traditional travel trailer, and off-grid behemoth.

The first thing that comes to mind when looking at any of the Safari Condo options is “unique.” It definitely carries that “wow” factor. But does it exceed expectations? We certainly think so.

Safari Condo construction involves a lot of customer input, so buying one used means accepting someone else’s design decisions. Everything else about the Condo is a unique spin, like 90° windows, subtle modular options on the interior, positive latches, an under-the-dinette A/C, and an alumi-fiber and aluminum construction built on an independent, Torflex torsion axle suspension.

7. Forest River Wolf Pup 14CCW

Forest River Wolf Pup 14CCW Exterior - Travel trailers for couples

✅ The Forest River Wolf Pup packs in a ton of amenities while still maximizing space

⛔ There are no drawers in this rig—weird

  • Length: 19′ 3”
  • UVW: 2,898 lbs
  • CCC: 1,002 lbs
  • GVWR: 3,900 lbs
  • Tongue Weight: 400 lbs

The tiny little Wolf Pup has more to offer on the inside than one might expect. These Wolf Pups are the quintessential travel trailers for couples. They feature neat, little, compact design ideas that never manage to take away all the remaining space.

This thing even includes a full size fridge; quite the accomplishment for a camper not much larger than a big teardrop!

It comes with a solar package that you don’t have to throw in there as a separate option, a standard backup camera, power awning, single 20-gallon propane tank, an exterior leash latch for pets, and an upgraded group-27 battery.

8. Travel Lite Rove Lite 16RB

Travel Lite Rove Lite 16RB Exterior

✅ Extremely light for its size, allowing for more towing options

⛔ 10-gallon freshwater and 5-gallon black tank eliminates long-term boondocking/off-grid

  • Length: 18′ 9”
  • UVW: 2,020 lbs
  • CCC: 1,480 lbs
  • Tongue Weight: 154 lbs

The Travel Lite Rove Lite 16RB is one of the lightest travel trailers for couples in this size. The all-aluminum construction, tankless water heater, one-piece non-rubber roof, and Tuson sway control all contribute to the lightweight and easy tow ability of this option without sacrificing interior space.

Speaking of the interior, it’s far more sizeable than the exterior leads you to believe. A large amount of counter space takes up an entire wall, with a quaint little dinette opposite. The rear bedroom encapsulates the bed, leaving enough room for a two-piece, decent-sized bathroom.

9. Winnebago Micro Minnie 1821FB

Winnebago Micro Minnie 1821FB Exterior - Travel trailers for couples

✅ This thing is made to be gear-heavy, packing a shocking amount of storage space for its size

⛔ Lacks the much better 320-Amp lithium battery of the FLX versions

  • Length: 21′ 3″
  • UVW: 4,086 lbs
  • CCC: 914 lbs
  • Tongue Weight: 312 lbs

The Winnebago Micro Minnie 1821FB is one of several floorplans in the Micro Minnie lineup. It’s one of those travel trailers for couples that are seemingly designed for just that while allowing for guests from time to time.

The slideout turns this micro into a much more sizeable camper on the inside—enough to make you forget its size class.

There’s a surprising amount of storage available, especially to the left of the door, when you walk in, underneath the HDTV. The counter space is meh, but the cutting board cover provides enough extra space when needed.

The bedroom space is just large enough to hold the full bed, with dual-opposing windows for plenty of natural lighting.

10. Grand Design Imagine AIM 15RB

Grand Design Imagine AIM 15RB Exterior

✅ Includes a full rear bathroom and a lot more space than it looks from the outside

⛔ Not much in the way of counter space

  • Length: 19′ 11″
  • UVW: 3,594 lbs
  • CCC: 1,201 lbs
  • GVWR: 4,795 lbs
  • Tongue Weight: 378 lbs

The Grand Design Imagine AIM 15RB comes with a camper queen Murphy bed setup, right when you walk in the door. And, that’s the running theme with the rest of the camper, utilizing what works to maximize the available living space when you’re not sleeping or resting. The sinks are pop-up, with hinged covers, next to single-row, vertical, dual-burner cooktop.

There are plenty of small storage options throughout as well. The fridge is large enough, with a drawer freezer at the bottom. The dinette is smallish, with narrow bench seats that convert into a bed.

This all allows for a bathroom that takes up the rear fifth of the travel trailer. It’s small but far more efficient and spacious than most bathrooms on RVs of this size.

11. Gulf Stream Envision 220RB

Gulf Stream Envision 220RB Exterior - Travel trailers for couples

✅ Enormous shower within a large bathroom

⛔ Interior ambiance is a bit dark, so it may need some additional lighting

  • Length: 27′ 11″
  • UVW: 5,620 lbs
  • CCC: 2,000 lbs
  • GVWR: 7,620 lbs
  • Tongue Weight: 620 lbs

The Envision 220RB is the smallest of the travel trailers for couples in the entire Envision line. However, it doesn’t look all that small when you’re standing in front of one.

Step inside, and the horizons broaden even more, with an enormous living space and kitchen area. Even the bathroom has room for an actual countertop.

There are plenty of deep storage spaces to the right as soon as you walk in the door. The L-shaped couch is a nice touch and is only doable because of the living room size.

The L portion of the couch pops up for access to a large storage space. The private bedroom has a standard queen that allows for plenty of walk-around space, and a king bed upgrade option.

12. Jayco Jay Flight 210QB

Jayco Jay Flight 210QB Exterior - Travel trailers for couples

✅ Though it’s a couple’s camper, dinette and sofa fold down for guests

⛔ Removable ladder instead of a permanent one for the walk-on roof

  • Length: 25′ 8″
  • UVW: 4,195 lbs
  • CCC: 1,305 lbs
  • GVWR: 5,500 lbs
  • Tongue Weight: 500 lbs

As our travel trailers for couples list draws to a close, we’ll leave you with the Jayco Jay Flight SLX 210QB , an excellent option in its own right. This one is unique in several ways, starting with the dinette. It sits in the rear of the travel trailer, directly across from a small, jack-knife sofa, which is close enough to share the table.

The second aspect is the standard 200-watt solar package with a 30-amp controller. The carpetless, ventless flooring is easy to clean, and you’ll notice the vents are out-of-sight and circular throughout the RV.

The camper queen is a walk-around, flanked by a hanging closet and a dresser space behind two mirror cabinets.

What Is the Perfect Travel Trailer for Two People?

What Is the Perfect Travel Trailer for Two People

So what is the best travel trailer for you and your significant other? This can be a tricky question since many factors come into play.

To answer this question, you’ll first want to sit down together and make a list of what’s important to you both. What are the features you absolutely must have?

Based on your needs and wants, you can narrow down the travel trailers that fit your lifestyle best.  Determining if you are the minimalistic comfort camper or glampers will go a long way toward helping you filter down your choices even more.

Next, you’ll want to think about your budget. In addition to the actual price of the travel trailer, be sure to add in the cost of insurance and registration . Consider whether or not you’ll need to purchase a larger vehicle to tow your rig.

It’s also important to think about the potential cost of storing your travel trailer when not in use.

Finally, think about how you’ll use your travel trailer and for how many years. Not only will you get more bang for your buck buying used, but you also won’t feel guilty trading in your rig in just a few years if your needs change. Buying used is also a great option if you plan to renovate your camper.

How Much Space Is Needed for a Couple?

How Much Space Is Needed for a Couple

So, how do you decide which of these great travel trailers for couples is best for you and your significant other? Well, first, you need to think about how much space you require as a couple. Each couple will be different because there are different camping styles.

They say love grows in small places. If you’re simply looking for a camper to use for quick weekend getaways, you may not want every bell and whistle. Simplicity and ease of use are likely the most important factors to the minimalist camping couple.

If minimalist is your style, you’ll love a small travel trailer for couples like Sunset Park Sunray.  Tiny campers can still pack in all the necessary amenities without breaking the bank or necessitating an upgraded tow vehicle.

When you take a step back and evaluate your camping style, maybe you realize you need just a little more space and a few more amenities.

If you don’t mind the idea of sharing a smaller space but the thought of a wet bath gives you anxiety, you likely fall into the comfortable camper category. The best travel trailer for your couple’s camping style will be something like the Coachman Clipper or the Jayco Jay Flight.

You may be reading this wondering how you’re going to fit fifty pairs of shoes in a camper without a slide. Or maybe you and your significant other are very much one of those “opposites attract” type of couples, and you know that you’ll both need your own storage space.

Perhaps the wine cooler and fireplace options are just too enticing to pass up. If any of these sounds like you, you’ll love the luxury travel trailer for couples like the CrossRoads Zinger or the Keystone Cougar.

No matter your camping style, the most important thing is understanding what’s important to you and your partner when choosing the best travel trailer for you as a couple.

Is It Better To Buy Or Rent An RV?

Speaking from a couple’s only perspective, it’s better to rent an RV, rather than buy one, if you only plan to go camping periodically throughout the year, and would rather save money for later down the road.

Several potential dynamics may or may not apply to a decision like this, so it really comes down to your plans and wants.

If you want to hit the road (extensively) with your partner, one or both of you working from home, buying is probably the better option. However, even if that’s the case, there are a ton of potential travel trailers for couples out there, and renting allows you to test drive several models.

For instance, if you have your eye on the above Airstream Bambi, why not rent one? You’ll learn everything you need to know about it and can make a more informed decision later.

Where the both of you are in life, your work arrangements, potential retirement, financial status, and how often you want to go camping all play significant roles in your final decision.

Final Words About Travel Trailers for Couples

Enjoy the Best Travel Trailer for Couples

After determining your camping style, when you’ll use your travel trailer, and what your budget is, we hope that our list of the top 12 travel trailers for couples will help you find your perfect camper.

There are so many options on the market these days. There is truly something for everyone.

The right travel trailer will help grow any couple’s relationship. Fancier models have amenities that will help you throw the best date nights. Yet even the most minimalist travel trailer for couples will help you and your significant other bond by getting out and enjoying the great outdoors together.

Any travel trailer, by nature, will allow you to grow your relationship through the new and shared experiences that come with the RV lifestyle.

James McAvoy is back in a horrifying role onscreen to lead the English-language remake of “ Speak No Evil .”

Per the official synopsis : “When an American family is invited to spend the weekend at the idyllic country estate of a charming British family they befriended on vacation, what begins as a dream holiday soon warps into a snarled psychological nightmare.” Related Stories ‘Kung Fu Panda 4’ Enjoys a Week as the Top Home Release, Before ‘Dune: Part Two’ Donna Langley to Be Honored with Kering Women in Motion Award at Cannes 2024

To note, “Speak No Evil” onscreen couple McAvoy and Franciosi are also reuniting for Jamie Adams’ improvised couple comedy “Turn Up the Sun!” along with Lucas Bravo and Dolly Farzad.

“Speak No Evil” is based on the screenplay of the 2022 Danish horror sensation “Gæsterne,” written by Christian Tafdrup and Mads Tafdrup. That film , which debuted at Sundance , earned 11 Danish Film Awards nominations, the Danish equivalent of the Oscars. Writer/director James Watkins is behind the new iteration, and debuted the trailer at CinemaCon 2024.

“Speak No Evil” is produced by Blumhouse ‘s Jason Blum and Paul Ritchie, and is executive produced by Beatriz Sequeira for Blumhouse, Jacob Jarek, and original “Speak No Evil” scribe Christian Tafdrup.

While “Speak No Evil” is set up at Universal where Blumhouse has a first-look deal, the production banner is set to remake a series of classic Lionsgate horror films starting with “The Blair Witch Project,” as also announced at CinemaCon.

“Speak No Evil” premieres September 13 in theaters. Check out the trailer below.

The View cohost slams Golden Bachelor couple's 'complete crock' romance amid divorce: 'I told you so'

Ana Navarro previously expressed frustration after repeatedly discussing "The Golden Bachelor" on "The View" throughout late 2023.

2023 couples travel trailer

The View cohost Ana Navarro bravely battled through her previously expressed disdain for discussing The Golden Bachelor on air throughout late 2023 — now, the Miami-based icon is celebrating in the wake of the reality show couple's impending divorce.

After Joy Behar introduced a Friday Hot Topic discussion about Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist's separation — as announced hours earlier on Good Morning America — the show's in-studio audience giggled over the development, before Navarro gloated about her sustained opposition to the show's premise.

"For like, six months, you tortured me every Friday and made me talk about this topic, which I can't stand because I think it's manufactured and a complete crock," Navarro said. "So, today, I get to say, I told you so, I told you so, I told you so!"

Behar then speculated that Turner and Nist will be alright, because "she has money" and "he has Viagra," though Sunny Hostin lamented falling "for this nonsense" in the first place.

"I'm upset because I thought since they were older they knew better and they could find love, and they didn't," she said.

JOHN FLEENOR/DISNEY; ABC

"You don't watch it to watch people find lasting love, you do to see how the social experiment works. It's filmed over six weeks, they're dating other people. If you make it to the Honeymoon Suites, he's probably slept with another person, or she, right before proposing to you," Alyssa Farah Griffin added.

Navarro sent the show to commercial with one final summary of the Golden Bachelor developments that have plagued her for weeks on end.

"The mistake was going on national TV to try to feign a relationship and love," she said. "I've had pimples that last longer than this marriage!"

Entertainment Weekly has reached out to representatives for The Golden Bachelor — which also airs on The View 's parent network, ABC — for comment.

In November, Navarro, who typically only appears on The View on Mondays and Fridays, stopped a Hot Topics segment to beg producer Brian Teta to stop forcing her to engage with news from The Golden Bachelor on the air.

"I have one golden question. Brian, when is this show,  The Golden Bachelor , over, so I no longer have to talk about it on Fridays?" she said, turning to Teta. The camera then cut to the EP, who responded, "We have a few more weeks, but I think we'll do a couple of extra shows, just for you."

The View  airs weekdays at 11 a.m. ET on ABC.
