Event Details

The Arenacross British Championship is back for 2024!

Arenacross is a show like no other. It’s a high-octane mix of indoor Motocross racing from 6yo kids to the top Pros, Freestyle Motocross (FMX) madness and it’s packed to the rafters with all-round family fun and frenzied entertainment. It’s guaranteed to keep you on your feet yelling and hollering for more!

Round 1 kicked off at Bolesworth, Chester in September and set the scene for a 7 round tour of the UK in January and February 2023, where the reigning Champion Tommy Searle, and last year’s runner up Conrad Mewse will be returning to battle for the 2024 title.

Freestyle Motocross features throughout the show, and takes the action, quite literally, to another level! It’s mind-blowing, spectacular and dangerous in equal measure. It takes place some 60ft in the air when a group of insanely talented ‘rebels’ fly off a huge ramp over a platform in the centre of the arena, throwing loads of cool and seemingly impossible tricks, one-handed, no-handed, sideways, upside-down, you name it, they do it.

These awesome sporting stars compete in year-round world tour events such as the X-Games and Red Bull X-Fighters, but … you’ve got to get involved as the louder you scream, the bigger the tricks.

There is so much more to Arenacross all aimed at keeping the audience engaged and shrieking for more. Make sure you arrive early for the pre show autograph sessions as doors to the venue open, but don’t just take our word for it …. BUY TICKETS!

2024 Arenacross Tour Lineup

2024 Arenacross Tour Lineup

The UK’s most successful motocross championship will showcase its strongest-ever line-up of teams and riders when the new season begins at the AO Arena, Manchester on 6 January.   With just over five weeks to go until the start of the 2024 Arenacross British Championship presented by Fix Auto , organisers have announced a star-studded roster of competitors for the new season.   With record prize money topping £140k, Arenacross fans are in for a treat as the championship embarks upon its tenth incredible year of entertaining over half-million motocross fans across the UK.   New to the championship for 2024 is long-time British Championship front-runner Harri Kullas who can’t wait to spark up his rivalry with current British Champions Tommy Searle (Kawasaki) and Conrad Mewse (Honda). But it’s Stark Future that could arrive with more than a shock as current championship number 3, Jack Brunell turns to electric power in his ten-year quest to become series champion.   Throw in the mix the ever-entertaining Ashley Greedy (returning from a multi-year ban), super-fast veteran Nev Bradshaw aboard a 250 s stroke, all-new to the full AX series of Supercross-specialist Dylan Woodcock and multiple British Championship and Grand Prix front-runners, Jake Nicholls, Elliott Banks-Browne and VMXDN hero, Mel Pocock – and we have the perfect mix of talent to tear up and entertain over 50,000 Arenacross fans this winter.   Matt Bates, Arenacross Promoter said: “It’s the strongest British line-up we’ve ever had. It was such a tough call last year to make the series a British Championship, but I’m so proud to say that it was more than worth it as the lineup of riders and teams proves.   “Also for the series to reach its tenth anniversary is also so rewarding for the dedication so many of our team have demonstrated – I can’t wait for the gate to drop in Manchester in just a few weeks’ time!”   Confirmed Teams & Riders   Dirt Store Kawasaki 1. Motocross racing goes indoors in Arenacross, with tight courses set up inside arenas and other venues across the country. The tighter indoor tracks tend to put a premium on technique and finesse, as well as fitness.

The AMA Arenacross National Championship Series recognizes the best Arenacross racers in a number of skill-, age- and displacement-based classes.  AX Promotions  organizes the AMA Arenacross National Championship Series, managing the promotional aspects of the series. They work with the AMA to develop the supplemental rules and program structure.

For the 2023 series, the weekends will consist of the AMA Arenacross AX Class on Friday, with amateur and youth classes run as separate rounds on Saturdays and Sundays. See the full schedule below:

Arenacross Tour Hits Aberdeen in 2023

  • Announcements
  • Coming Soon

Europe’s leading indoor Freestyle Motocross and Race Show will make a two-night Tour stop at Aberdeen’s P&J Live for the first time ever next January, the Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th 2023.

Arenacross is a show like no other. It’s a high-octane mix of indoor Motocross racing and Freestyle Motocross (FMX) badness and is packed to the rafters with all-round family fun and frenzied entertainment. It’s guaranteed to keep audiences on their feet yelling and hollering for more!

The fast-paced Arenacross Tour has been thrilling crowds up and down the UK for several years now and has staged more than 60 adrenaline-fuelled shows, entertaining over 250,000 action-hungry fans in the process.

Thousands of tons of dirt will be sculpted to transform the usually safe and sane P&J Live arena floor into a full-on indoor race track with huge turns and jumps designed for non-stop racing combat.

Leading indoor motocross athletes from around the world descend on the UK for the high-profile winter series. And, with a huge bag of cash on offer and professional pride at stake, the riders take no prisoners as they battle their way through the short, sharp and frenetic qualifying races with their sights firmly set on making it through to the Main Final.

The racing is interspersed with electrifying FMX, mixed with an invigorating cocktail of lights, lasers and pumping soundtrack. It’s mind-blowing, spectacular and dangerous in equal measure. It takes place some 60ft in the air when a group of insanely talented ‘rebels’ fly off a huge ramp over a platform in the centre of the arena, throwing loads of cool and seemingly impossible tricks, one-handed, no-handed, sideways, upside-down - the louder the audience, the bigger they go. These guys are the world’s best when it comes to showing off!

In a nutshell, Arenacross is hard-charging, hugely-entertaining and completely unpredictable and it all happens in Aberdeen early next year.

Louise Stewart, Managing Director (Interim) at P&J Live, said: “We’re really looking forward to this show – something a little bit different and edge-of-your-seat exciting. With it being the only two show dates in Scotland, we’re confident the action-packed show will prove a popular one. Perfect for everyone from race-going Motocross fans to families looking for an incredible day out, the blend of high-octane mix of indoor motocross racing and Freestyle MX with a heart-pumping soundtrack will have North East fans hooked!”

P&J Live is located close to Aberdeen International Airport, six miles northwest of the city centre, and just a few short minutes from the city's new western peripheral route. There are plenty of transport options to reach the venue.

Earlybird tickets go live with pre-sale on Wednesday 28th September - check out www.pandjlive.com to book tickets. General on-sale starts Monday 10th October 2022.

Komsomolskaya metro station looks like a museum. It has vaulted ceilings and baroque decor.

Hidden underground, in the heart of Moscow, are historical and architectural treasures of Russia. These are Soviet-era creations – the metro stations of Moscow.

Our guide Maria introduced these elaborate metro stations as “the palaces for the people.” Built between 1937 and 1955, each station holds its own history and stories. Stalin had the idea of building beautiful underground spaces that the masses could enjoy. They would look like museums, art centers, concert halls, palaces and churches. Each would have a different theme. None would be alike.

The two-hour private tour was with a former Intourist tour guide named Maria. Maria lived in Moscow all her life and through the communist era of 60s to 90s. She has been a tour guide for more than 30 years. Being in her 60s, she moved rather quickly for her age. We traveled and crammed with Maria and other Muscovites on the metro to visit 10 different metro stations.

Moscow subways are very clean

Moscow subways are very clean

To Maria, every street, metro and building told a story. I couldn’t keep up with her stories. I don’t remember most of what she said because I was just thrilled being in Moscow.   Added to that, she spilled out so many Russian words and names, which to one who can’t read Cyrillic, sounded so foreign and could be easily forgotten.

The metro tour was the first part of our all day tour of Moscow with Maria. Here are the stations we visited:

1. Komsomolskaya Metro Station  is the most beautiful of them all. Painted yellow and decorated with chandeliers, gold leaves and semi precious stones, the station looks like a stately museum. And possibly decorated like a palace. I saw Komsomolskaya first, before the rest of the stations upon arrival in Moscow by train from St. Petersburg.

2. Revolution Square Metro Station (Ploshchad Revolyutsii) has marble arches and 72 bronze sculptures designed by Alexey Dushkin. The marble arches are flanked by the bronze sculptures. If you look closely you will see passersby touching the bronze dog's nose. Legend has it that good luck comes to those who touch the dog's nose.

Features of the macrostructure and microstructure of uranium dioxide powders are considered. Assumptions are made on the mechanisms of the behavior of powders of various natures during pelletizing. Experimental data that reflect the effect of these powders on the quality of fuel pellets, which is evaluated by modern procedures, are presented. To investigate the structure of the powders, modern methods of electron microscopy, helium pycnometry, etc., are used. The presented results indicate the disadvantages of wet methods for obtaining the starting UO 2 powders by the ammonium diuranate (ADU) flow sheet because strong agglomerates and conglomerates, which complicate the process of pelletizing, are formed. The main directions of investigation that can lead to understanding the regularities of formation of the structure of starting UO 2 powders, which will allow one to control the process of their fabrication and stabilize the properties of powders and pellets, are emphasized.
