Houston, Texas Mission Trips

Serve in the south.

Though Houston has one of the largest populations of any city in the US, serving there has the feel of a much smaller city. A truly global city paired with laid-back Southern hospitality and warmth makes Houston an ideal location for your next mission trip.

Houston, TX Mission Trips

When Hurricane Harvey hit the area in 2017, several churches in the area that had previously sent teams through PPM on mission trips reached out for help, asking us to come to serve in their communities to address the unprecedented damage and decimation. In coming alongside these churches and communities in the wake of the storm, we found true partners and amazing ministry that is continuing long after the most pressing storm recovery needs.

PPM partners in Houston are passionate about their communities and are inviting teams to partner with them in a multitude of ways. Teams that serve in Houston on a mission trip can engage in kids ministry, work with the homeless, food distribution, service projects, prayer outreach, and much more.

Houston, TX FAQs

What is included in the cost.

Prior to the trip, the team leader will receive a group leader manual, which includes fundraising ideas and information to help with every aspect of trip planning. You will also receive access to your own online group account that will equip you to easily organize and plan for your trip. You will have access to online trip handbooks and resources for participants, promotional materials, group t-shirts and unlimited pre-trip consultations with your trip leader or location consultant. Your consultant will help you utilize your customizable ministry options and will identify a ministry partner that fits with your team.

Once in your ministry location, your team will be taken care of by a trained PPM staff, given safely prepared meals, safe drinking water, sleeping accommodations, an opportunity to attend local church services, evening worship, prayer, debriefing meetings, and a local sightseeing or recreation activity.

What is NOT included in the cost?

The registration fee, airfare and/or transportation to ministry location, spending money, offering at church services, construction and/or ministry materials, personal insurance, and extra recreation options outside of the normal recreation outing (ex. zip lining, snorkeling, surf board rental). Extra recreation options vary depending upon location, be sure to speak with your consultant about these options if you desire to add them to your trip. In most domestic locations, transporation throughout the week is not included (please see pricing table above).

Where will my team serve within the ministry location?

Within each of our ministry locations we have multiple church and parachurch partners where teams serve. Not all teams serve at the same church or ministry. We determine ministry partnership assignments typically 10-12 weeks prior to mission trip dates. Throughout the planning process leading up to your trip, your consultant will be determining the best location(s) for your team and will let you know where your team will be serving as soon as we have confirmed that information. We will be doing our best to partner your team with churches and opportunities where your team will be best utilized.

Where will my team sleep?

Teams that select a trip with floor sleeping accommodations will sleep in a church, school, or community center. They will be divided by gender, and men's and women's rest rooms/showers will be available. Teams that choose a trip with hotel option usually sleep 3-5 people per room, with two people per double bed and individuals sleeping in single beds. All rooms are designated either male or female. There is no gender mixing.

What about safety?

Praying Pelican Missions holds safety as a top priority. PPM staff are trained and equipped to provide a safe and incident-free mission experience. PPM staff will be with your team for the entire trip and will have access to transportation, cell phones, hospitals, and first aid kits at all times. In the event of an emergency, PPM staff will guide and assist your team with proper next steps.

I see transportation is not included, how should I handle that?

For most domestic locations, you will be responsible for securing and arranging your own transportation to the location and to ministry locations throughout the week. Your PPM consultant or trip leader will aide you prior to the trip in finding good parking spaces for whatever vehicle you will be driving. They will also provide you with a list of addresses and itinerary of service times that your driver will need during the week.

What about meals?

Three main meals per day will be served to your team. These meals will be a mixture of local cuisines and typical American style food. During your consulting process, you will be able to identify team members who have allergies or dietary restrictions. PPM will do our best to accommodate these needs and all food and drink provided by PPM during trips is safe to eat. We recommend if you have more severe dietary restrictions or allergies, that you bring along appropriate snacks.

Is there a language barrier?

For most of our locations within the USA, our local communities are bi or trilingual, with English being one of their languages. Your team shouldn’t run into any issues with language, but if you are serving in an area where there is need for it, PPM will provide staff who will also serve as translators for your team.

How do you choose your staff?

Your PPM staff members of your trip will be a mixture of full-time staff, local staff and seasonal interns. We believe in the value of local staff members and the health it brings to the ministry we are doing. All staff have undergone training and have completed background checks.

Houston, TX Location Info

Houston, tx basics.

Houston is the 4th largest city by population in the United States. But even though it is home to over 2 million people, the city sits on such a large piece of land that it often feels as if you're in a much smaller city. Over time, Houston has developed into a city with a distinctly international flair, urban amenities, and a diverse population.

When Hurricane Harvey hit Houston in 2017, thousands of homes experienced significant water damage, displacing over 30,000 people. Not only were homes damaged, but also places of employment, education, and more.

PPM teams began coming to serve in Houston shortly after the storm wreaked havoc. Working and serving to help rebuild homes, churches, and communities led to much deeper partnerships and more understanding of the needs and opportunities within Houston. The beauty and diversity of Houston allow for teams to experience a variety of ministry possibilities as they partner with local churches and established and respected non-profits as they work to serve the city.

Climate, Language, & Safety

Houston boasts a humid subtropical climate. August normally ranks as the warmest month at an average of 84.6 °F and January is the coldest month, averaging 53.1 °F. Get ready for humidity - it is legendary here!

Though English is the primary language for most Houston residents, you will find a number of different cultures thriving within the city. Due in large part to its proximity to Mexico, there are a large number of Spanish speakers. Nearly 39% of the population speaks Spanish. Other cultures include Vietnamese, Chinese, Filipino, German, French, Indian, Arabic, and more.

As in most large cities, there are areas that require caution when traveling, but as a whole Houston is a safe and exciting city to visit. Your PPM staff will be with you every step of the way, keeping your team's safety as a top priority.

Economy & Currency

Houston is well known for its investment in oil and petroleum refining. As the city has grown, so has the diversity of its economy. Houston now boasts thriving medical research and healthcare industries, an exploding tech sector, commercial fishing, sports and entertainment, as well as several large universities.

Food & Fun

Houstons are proud of their food. If you love great TexMex or southern BBQ, then you will love the local offerings. They love things drenched in cheese, gravy, and chipotle butter. As a true Houstonian would say, "We may not have invented these essential dishes, but we most certainly perfected them!" While in Houston, try one of these local favorites: chicken fried steak, Viet-cajun crawfish, breakfast tacos, pho, chili con queso, fajitas, and barbeque brisket.

While in Houston, there are lots of things you can do for fun! Visit NASA, hit the beach, catch an Astros (baseball) game, or visit one of the city's iconic museums. If you want to check out something truly "local," hit up a rodeo or visit the JP Morgan Chase Tower to get a view of the whole city. Take a walk on the historic Rice University campus or bike along the Buffalo Bayou. If you're feeling adventurous, check out the bat colony at Waugh Drive Bridge or explore the 87,000 square foot, 25-foot tall underground cistern.

History & Religion

On the heels of the Texas Revolution, two New York City real estate promoters, John Kirby Allen and Augustus Chapman Allen were seeking a location where they could begin building "a great center of government and commerce." In August 1836, they purchased 6,642 acres (27 km²) of land for $9,428. The "city to be" was named after Sam Houston, the hero of San Jacinto, whom the Allen brothers admired and anticipated to be the first President of the Republic of Texas. By 1837, only 4 months after its founding, there were over 1500 people in Houston. The city was granted incorporation by the state legislature on June 5, 1837.

Through the years, Houston has endured a number of natural disasters and economic challenges but it has continued to thrive. After surviving the Civil War that began less than 30 years after the founding of the city, Houston became a center for commerce. Leading the way in oil, fishing, education, and social issues, Houston has blossomed into a resilient, diverse city with over 6.3 million people in the metro area.

Of Houston's 6 million inhabitants, 43% are affiliated with a Christian church. 15% are Catholic, 2% are of an eastern religion; 3.28% affiliate with Islam.

Bri

Frequently Asked Questions

Who can participate.

For Workcamps & Week of Hope

  • Due to liability, under-aged participants will be sent home at their own expense ( NO babies or any children under the required age).
  • Only registered participants are permitted at the lodging facility and on the project sites.
  • No special skills are required.
  • 19 or 20 year olds are welcome to attend as participants! Remember that  only those that are 21 or older will be considered “adults”  at camp and count in your 1 adult to 5 youth required ratio.

Will our group be working together?

We normally split groups up into work crews.  But, we are willing to work with your group on how you’d like to split into crews. Our work crews are made up of six people with usually one or two adults and four or five youth--typically each person from a different church. If you’d like to have your youth meet new friends and develop friendships outside of your youth group, then allow us to split up your group. If you have specific church safety rules that require your group to be together, we are more than happy to arrange that for your group as well. Our top priority is to partner with you to arrange the best experience for your youth group and help you meet your ministry goals.

What about safety?

Safety is our top priority!

  • We require groups to bring 1 adult (21 or older) for every 5 participants that are under 21 years of age.
  • We require participants that are 18 and older be screened and background-checked by their church. Their pastor signs off that they meet Group Mission Trips' requirements and that they are approved to attend.
  • Every staff member has been screened, background-checked, and reference checked by Group Mission Trips.
  • For overall protection, we have separate shower times designated for participants that are 17 and younger from those that are 18 and older.
  • We review safety procedures at camp.
  • Participants are not required to do any work that they consider unsafe.
  • Although we do serve in needy areas, we require crews to stay together at all times. No one should ever be left alone and all participants are back at the lodging facility by their designated check in time.
  • Group Mission Trips' staff visit the crews every day so they are aware of where a crew is working and any issues in the area.
  • Every crew has the direct phone number to the GMT office and directions to the closest hospital. If an injury occurs on the project site, and is not serious, GMT staff will contact the youth leader and coordinate any transportation needed. If the injury is serious, the adult on site will call 911 and GMT staff will offer support and ensure needed medical forms are delivered to hospital.
  • Each crew will have a small first aid kit and a bigger one for every vehicle.

The safety of your group is a top priority for us, as we’re sure it is for you. In all the areas we serve, we take extra precautions to make sure you or your group is as safe as possible. Guided by our local, experienced ministry staff partners, we avoid situations that are inherently dangerous. We’re also proactive by choosing lodging facilities and transportation that are safe and reliable. Our mission trip advisors are glad to answer further safety questions.

What about transportation?

For Domestic trips

  • Groups must provide transportation to and from the mission trip as well as daily to and from the sites.
  • All vehicles must be available for transportation to and from the sites. (Mileage or fuel costs are not reimbursed for any transportation costs.)
  • Vehicles with a minimum capacity of six passengers are requested, with seat belts. While adults will be driving their vehicles, they typically will not be transporting a crew that includes their own youth members. Typically, the youth from your group will be traveling in other vehicles with their crews.
  • Due to rough terrain and narrow roads, there are some locations that are labeled “Not Bus Accessible”. If you are serving at one of these, you’ll need to plan on bringing smaller vehicles.

What will we be doing?

For Workcamps

Your participants will provide home repairs at no cost for elderly, disabled, and disadvantaged people who need your help. Work crews typically serve the same resident for the entire trip, creating an environment where meaningful relationships develop.

Most projects are designed to be completed during the trip, allowing your group to experience the satisfaction of a job well done. You’ll serve the needs of others through projects like interior and exterior painting, building or repairing porches and wheelchair ramps, building or repairing steps, weatherization and other home repairs. No skills are needed!

For Week of Hope

Be ready to tackle any project and expect to interact each day with local residents from the community.  Crews typically serve at the same organization for the entire camp (or at the most 2 organizations), creating an environment where meaningful relationships develop.

Projects could include working with children at a day camp, serving at a food bank or homeless shelter, leading a Vacation Bible School, improving the homes of people in need, assisting the elderly, tutoring struggling kids, working with disabled children, facilitating a sports camp, and/or serving churches and other human service organizations in different ways. If there are any minor repair projects, we may ask your group to bring a few small hand tools and paint brushes.

Where do we stay?

For Workcamps Classic

A Workcamp can hold up to 400 participants and we house them all typically at a middle or high school. Group Mission Trip staff transforms the facility into a home away from home–there will be a separate boy’s hall and girl’s hall, a cafeteria for meals, adequate bathrooms and showers, and either a gym or auditorium for programs.

Participants need to bring twin-size air mattresses, pillows, sleeping bags or other bedding to sleep on classroom floors. Youth groups are assigned to sleeping rooms together, gender separate. Sleeping rooms may be shared with other youth groups, depending on the size of groups and the size of the room.

Registered groups can see more information about their lodging facility online on their Customer Account under Lodging Info. The primary contact will have access to the lodging facility’s address.

For Workcamps Flex

Workcamp Flex does not include lodging. It has all the outstanding elements of our Workcamp Classic but at a more affordable price, allowing you more flexibility in what you eat and where you sleep.

A Week of Hope can hold up to 100 participants and we house them all typically at a local church. Group Mission Trips' staff transforms the facility into a home away from home–there will be a separate boy’s hall and girl’s hall, a space for meals, adequate bathrooms and showers, and a space for the programs.

Participants need to bring twin-size air mattresses, pillows, sleeping bags or other bedding to sleep on floors. Youth groups are assigned to sleeping rooms together, gender separate. Sleeping rooms may be shared with other youth groups, depending on the size of groups and the size of the room.

What is the menu? What if there are special dietary needs?

For Workcamps and Week of Hope

Meals will consist of hot breakfasts, picnic-style lunches, and hot dinners. All meals will be prepared for participants by kitchen staff. Picnic-style lunches will be assembled in the mornings and brought to work sites. The first provided meal is dinner on Sunday and the last meal is breakfast on Saturday. IMPORTANT NOTE: Dinner is NOT provided on Wednesday, youth groups have free time this day and dinner is on their own.

For registered groups:  If you have a participant that has to eat gluten-free--please let us know. We can have a few gluten free options at camp, but need to know in advance to plan. The sample menu is located on your customer account, under Helpful Resources, and under Schedule, Menu, and Packing. Share this with your participants so they can start planning. Participants with special diets or allergies are welcome to bring their own food items to fill in as needed during the week. Please know that we do have peanut butter on the menu. Group Mission Trips is unable to guarantee there will not be any cross-contamination during meal preparation by kitchen staff. There will be a staff member available at camp who will be able to answer any questions about food.

Workcamp Flex provides only lunch at your Work Site. You choose what you eat for breakfast and dinner each day.

What are the programs like?

Focused on Jesus.  Our goal is to point people to Jesus. Programs focus on Bible passages and daily themes that challenge us to respond to Jesus in ways we will never forget.

Interactive . People learn better by doing. Participants will be involved in sharing, speaking, acting, reflecting...not just sitting and watching.

Relevant.  Through creative multimedia, thought provoking sound and video, our programs are designed to reach everyone.

Fun.  Relationship-building activities, games and having fun are part of every program. Expect to have a great time!

Our partnerships help us get people involved in mission work in urban Houston.

At Mission Centers of Houston our staff works to help provide for the physical and spiritual needs of people living in Houston’s inner city. Through mission partnerships we serve as a network and conduit for local churches and organizations in the Houston area and throughout the United States to be involved in mission work in urban Houston.

Groups can be of any size and be involved in many ways. Local groups can partner with us in our ongoing weekly ministries, such as Food Pantry, Kids Club, Youth Club, Senior Adults, and maintaining our facilities in good working order. We also welcome families and all ages – there is a place for everyone to be on mission with us. In the summer Mission Centers of Houston is a popular destination for youth groups.

All groups, whether local or not, can lodge on site to serve for a day, several days or longer. Examples of the mission work that are done by mission partners during those times involves outreach events, repairs and maintenance of our facilities, involvement with our weekly activities, and multi-day programs for kids and youth.

To inquire about a mission partnership or to check available times when your group can join us on mission in Houston, please email Cheryl Chadwick at [email protected]

We also welcome financial partnerships to help us continue our mission work. Please contact Jeff Chadwick at [email protected] to discuss our financial needs or click here   to make a donation.

Hear what our partners have to say.

Joshua hill.

Missions Associate at Woodbridge Baptist Church

The Mission Centers of Houston have been a great ministry partner with Woodridge Baptist Church for well over 10 years now. The reason we continually choose to lock arms with our brothers and sisters at the mission centers isn’t because we’re both a part of the UBA (Though we’re proud of that!), it’s because we can see that the men and women serving there have a missionary’s heart for our city. In addition to supporting them financially, MCH is also a great place for our members to volunteer. Whether it be through their discipleship programs, English classes, or the food pantry, Houstonians’ needs are being met every single day. We know this brings joy to God, and it brings joy to us too! That’s why the Mission Centers are our number one partner in the city.

Bryan Butler

First Gen/Operations Pastor at The Woodlands First Baptist Church

Mission Centers of Houston has given our church the opportunity to serve those in our community with limited capacity. We have helped feed those who are hungry, and provided resources and services through Mission Centers of Houston. We have had teams of volunteers who have helped in remodeling houses and center facilities. Having a place where our members can put “hands and feet” to work in our local community has been a blessing. We are so grateful for the ministry and commitment of Mission Centers to the deserving neighborhoods and people they serve.

Omar C. Garcia

Missions Pastor at Kingsland Baptist Church

Mission Centers of Houston is strategically positioned through their centers to do what Jesus did best - move in the direction of people in need. Through their weekly programs, outreach initiatives, food pantries, and more they are making a difference. And because they have developed a Christlike reputation wherever they serve, people in need confidently move in their direction, knowing they will find help, healing, and hope in Jesus. We at Kingsland consider it a privilege to invest both human and financial resources in the work of Mission Centers of Houston. We are grateful for our partnership in the gospel to reach the Greater Houston Area with the love of Christ.

Lezlie Armour

Missions Minister at Champion Forest Baptist Church

Champion Forest Baptist Church has partnered with Mission Centers of Houston for many years. We agree with what they stand for…who they are in Christ. The opportunities to serve are limitless. Our people have volunteered at MCH in the pantry, in weekday programs, at Thanksgiving, feeding the community, working with summer missionaries, helping with the annual golf tournament to raise funds and more. In every instance we have seen our members become more involved in other mission efforts as well as MCH. MCH whets their appetite for missions involvement. Partnering with the centers is a great investment for CFBC.

Minister of Connection & Mobilization – Houston’s First Baptist Downtown

It takes the entire body of Christ to go and make disciples, and it has been a joy to partner with Mission Centers of Houston in reaching our city with the gospel. Collaborating with MCH has provided an opportunity for our church members to not only be the hands and feet of Christ, but also to be exposed to what God is doing in some of the most underserved and unreached communities in Houston. We are so grateful for our partnership in the gospel and all of the amazing ways God is using MCH to make disciples!

Dove Harrell

Director – adcetera

Missions Pastor at Second Baptist Church

Missions Centers of Houston is a trusted and valued partner in ministry. Faithful diligence targeted toward the painful difficulties that our inner-city neighbors face defines the Joy and Gano Missions centers. Missions Centers of Houston has been a light for Christ in these neighborhoods for decades and we are excited about what God will do in the future through this outstanding ministry.

Jeremy Scott

Minister of Missions at Tallowood Baptist Church

Mission Centers of Houston (MCH) has for many years been a valuable and strategic mission partner of Tallowood Baptist Church. MCH efficiently manages resources to advance the gospel, to make disciples, and to serve so many people in under-resourced communities. They are able to do this because of their great love for the communities, their great love for local churches, and their great love of the Lord Jesus. MCH is not ashamed of the gospel. In fact, compassionately sharing the gospel is at the center of all they do. They see the peoples whose lives are changed as they hear and believe the gospel of our Lord. For well over 50 years, MCH has effectively served because of their great love for all peoples in the Houston communities they serve. MCH has been effective in ministry all these years because of their great love of the Lord Jesus. MCH has been effective because of their great love of the local church. So many local churches have extended their ministry impact through MCH by praying, by giving, and by these sending volunteers to serve these communities with MCH. Tallowood Baptist Church’s experience of partnering with MCH has been amazing. I would encourage any individual and/or church seeking to make an impact in Houston by serving with a great community development ministry to connect with Mission Centers of Houston www.missioncenters.org .

Neighbors to the Nations

We are called to make disciples that make disciples, reaching the world with the gospel from our Neighbors to the Nations. We are blessed to partner with many missionaries and ministries, locally, nationally, and internationally and our Neighbors to the Nations Missions Offering supports these partners. Our 2024 goal is $600,000 to help support partners who are making disciples around the world! Click below to give toward missions and scroll to find more information about each of our missions partners.

National Partners

Joint mission effort of Southern Baptist churches for the purpose of evangelizing + church planting in North America. Over 5,200 missionaries and planters are supported out of this offering.

The population of Mayagüez, Puerto Rico is over 72,000 people, yet there is no SBC presence in the area. The Santos family is engaging in the strategic work of reaching the area with a vision to reach the lost, edify the saints, and send the called to plant churches.

In times of disaster, our community has consistently received  support. Just as we have received help, we have a dedicated and certified team who respond to disasters as part of the Southern Baptist Disaster Send Relief Network, responding effectively to emergencies in SWFL and across the nation.

Radiant Church is a new plant, in the early stages of launching in Syracuse, NY. Led by Jason Lankford, they partner with the Salt Network and NAMB and are currently focused on developing ministries on the campus of Syracuse University and building small groups throughout the city. First Naples sends teams to help them with community outreach and campus events.

Redemption Church is a new plant in Orlando, FL, led by Andrew Strucker. Their goal is to reach all people, with all of Jesus, for all of life. First Naples teams help them host a VBS week in the summer to reach families and kids in their community with life that can only be found in Jesus.

The Church at Channelside is preparing to launch in the downtown Tampa area. They look forward to laying the groundwork to see the gospel proclaimed and people transformed through Tampa Bay and throughout the world.

Man in the Mirror’s vision is to see “every church disciple every man,” raising up godly men to become leaders in their homes, places of work, and churches. They provide discipleship opportunities and resources to men and churches across the nation.

Hearts with Hands is a disaster relief ministry offering physical assistance alongside spiritual care. In the aftermath of disaster, they provide non-perishable food boxes, water, hygiene kits, cleaning supplies, baby supplies, and more. They have been on the ground with First Naples after Hurricanes Irma and Ian and we send teams and financial support to partner with them in disaster response nationwide.

Noah grew up through our church and has been a mission partner with us for a couple years, serving the families and community in Homestead Florida. He is currently attending seminary in preparation for becoming a church planter.

Brian Hook is a long-time church planter working in Arizona. We’ve sent multiple teams to Aspire Church to run sports camps with the goal of sharing the gospel and getting the community plugged into a local church.

International Partners

We are partnering with Compassion International to fund a child development center through a local church in Tanzania, empowering them to disciple the kids in their community in Jesus’ name.

Against the harsh context of poverty, the nurturing environment at the church-based center fosters well-being, youth agency, self-confidence and a spirit of service. Children are equipped to become disciples of Christ and achieve a fulfilling life.

Third Culture Kids or “TCK’s” are kids who are raised in a culture other than that of their parents or the culture of their country of nationality, and also live in a different environment during a significant part of their child development years. We are able to support TCKs living on the mission field with their parents by providing activities and discipleship for them during IMB conferences, help with their yearly retreat, and send care packages. These are just a couple of ways we can help remind kids growing up on the mission field that they aren’t alone, they are prayed for, and their sacrifices on the field for God’s kingdom are seen.

Paul comes from an Islamic background, and uses his life story to share the truth about Christ with Muslims and the Islamic world. He utilizes the internet, conferencing rolls, groups, and satellite TV to reach the 10/40 window. His outreach ministry is viewed around the globe, teaching apologetics in response to Muslim questions and claims, with the goal of presenting the truth of Christ with love.

Brant + Kara have been with the IMB for almost 8 years and are currently serving in Redhill, UK at the Global Training Center – Brant, as the European Digital Engagement Strategist and Kara as the Child Care and Volunteer Coordinator. Brant has the privilege of helping and training IMB teams across Europe in leveraging digital tools and social media – reaching areas like the Ukraine and Syria with the hope of the gospel. Kara coordinates teams to run conferences for IMB personnel who have spent 1-3 years on the field, caring for their kids and creating a refreshing and refueling environment.

Using his unique background, Jalil as an Iraqi refugee, Jalil has served as pastor of the Arabic Church of Dallas, Texas, and founded World Refugee Care, a Gospel-centered organization that helps refugees rebuild their lives. Thes outreaches have an incredible impact on both Muslim and persecuted Christian refugees, serving tens of thousands of displaced families – many of whom have embraced faith in Jesus Christ.

Pastor Fernando Facioli serves as Director of Leadership Outreach, which seeks to train pastors, multiply ministry leaders, revitalize churches, and promote church planting in the remote areas of the Amazon Basin. The oral culture of the Amazon Jungle means people rely on hearing the Word of God taught to them. Fernando and his team provide “River Pastors” and church leaders with theological training to better teach their communities the truths of God’s Word.

First Naples partners with a couple in Western Europe to host an annual Arabic Baptist Conference supporting Arabic speaking pastors and ministry leaders. They seek to glorify Jesus by planting healthy churches and their ministry works with immigrant Arabic speaking and refugee populations. In recent years, they have been able to see 5 Arabic speaking churches planted.

TAP International (The Altruism Project) partners with local churches to support evangelistic outreach, primarily in India. Their mission is to evangelize, equip, and empower people worldwide to build healthier lives through a personal relationship with Jesus.

Adoptando was founded by the Vargas Family to train Christian families and churches on adoption + foster care and is an official partner of NAMB + Send Relief. They have opened the first gospel-centered adoption agency in Puerto Rico and are a Send Relief Ministry Center that connects the needs of orphans with the local church and North American churches. They were also recently able to open the first gospel-centered Emotional and Spiritual Restoration Center for Children – an orphanage that serves children from the ages 0-12. First Naples has been able to send multiple teams to partner in their ministry to support children and families across Puerto Rico.

We are blessed to support a family serving with the IMB in Spain who mobilize Southern Baptist fellowships to engage lostness in the North Africa and Middle East region.

Joint mission effort of Southern Baptist churches for the purpose of supporting 3500+ missionaries evangelizing and discipling the nations.
