There are multiple opportunities to play bingo during your sailing. Bingo is an extra fee, but you can purchase paper or electronic cards according to your budget.

They play four games with the last game being a cover-the-card game. During the first session they pull a certain number of balls and if nobody wins the jackpot rolls over to the next session. This continues, with the number of balls pulled slowly increasing, until the last session. Each session costs $35 for a card that is good for the 4 games.

Disney Cruise Line Bingo takes place in the Evolution Lounge. The bingo caller, on this cruise Timmy, is the master of ceremonies. He is accompanied by a handful of other Cast Members who help answer questions, check bingo cards for wins, etc. Timmy kept everything moving along and made the game lots of fun. This is not your grandma's bingo.

On a typical cruise, the first game will have a payout in the $100-200 range and the last game will have a payout of $400-600 per game, but there is large variability in these numbers. The very last game of a sailing may be designated a special jackpot game with prizes up to $10,000 or so.

Disney Cruise Line bingo is totally an experience. The two times we played, the room was full of regulars who knew all the inside jokes, they knew the songs to sing, and the fun sayings to yell out, but after about 15 minutes, we soon became as familiar with the rules as the regulars and felt right at home.
