beyonce dubai performance

As expected, Beyoncé has announced a 2023 world tour on Instagram, supporting her multiple-Grammy-nominated 2022 album, “Renaissance.” She also released the dates and cities on her official website.

The timing of the announcement, which comes just days before the Grammy Awards on Sunday, sparks speculation that the singer may perform or at least appear on the show. Beyoncé is the most nominated artist for the awards with nine, all related to “ Renaissance .” Sources tell Variety that her husband Jay-Z will perform with DJ Khaled on the show, most likely their nominated song “God Did.”

Popular on Variety

Beyoncé has said that “Renaissance” is a three-part project, so it’s possible that the next parts could be another album, a long-form video project or even the tour itself.

Beyoncé’s last full tour was the nearly six-month, 49-date “Formation” tour in 2016, which unusually featured no guest appearances until the final show, at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium, where she brought out Kendrick Lamar and Jay-Z.

She did, however, stage an epochal “Homecoming” headlining performance at the 2018 Coachella festival — which was postponed from 2017 due to the birth of her and Jay’s twins — for which she was accompanied by a full marching band in a nod to historically Black colleges and universities. That blockbuster performance was later released as the “Homecoming” album and — via a three-project deal with Netflix that sources tell Variety is worth $60 million — a feature-length documentary. It seems possible that a future “Renaissance” video project could be part of that deal as well.

Kansas City stop of Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour rescheduled. Here’s new concert date

Beyoncé fans will have to wait a bit longer before they see the singer in Kansas City at Arrowhead Stadium .

The Kansas City stop for her Renaissance World Tour has been rescheduled from Sept. 18 to 7 p.m. Oct. 1, GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium announced on Twitter . The change in date of the performance is due to logistics and rescheduling issues.

“All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new date,” according to the announcement. “If you have questions or issues regarding your ticket order, please contact Ticketmaster.”

The tour kicked off in Stockholm, Sweden, in May and makes its first U.S. stop on July 12 in Philadelphia. Nearby tour dates include a July 23 performance at Soldier Field in Chicago and an Aug. 21 stop at The Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis.

The tour marks Beyoncé’s first return to the road since 2017.

Tesla management told employees Monday that the recent layoffs -- which gutted some departments by 20% and even hit high performers -- were largely due to poor financial performance, a source familiar with the matter told TechCrunch. The move comes as Tesla has seen its profit margin narrow over the past several quarters, the result of an EV price war that has persisted for at least a year.

Where can you get tickets?

Tickets for the North American leg of the tour will be available through Ticketmaster's Verified Fan program. Tickets will go on sale Monday, Feb 6, with an exclusive presale to BeyHive members, according to a Live Nation press release.

Verified Fan registration is now open. Once you register, you'll be placed in a lottery system that determines which fans get invited to purchase tickets. Registration alone doesn't guarantee tickets. If you're selected, you'll get an access code the day before tickets go on sale. Everyone else will be placed on a waitlist. According to Live Nation, this process is intended to help Ticketmaster weed out the resellers and verify your account so that actual fans get priority to buy tickets.

Citi cardmembers will have a special Citi Presale after the Verified Fan process. Get more details here . Verizon will also offer an exclusive presale through their customer loyalty program Verizon Up .

Will Beyoncé be using Ticketmaster like Taylor Swift to sell tickets?

Yes, but given what happened with Taylor Swift's Eras tour (and the fact it led to Congressional hearings about Ticketmaster ’s practices), it seems very likely both Beyoncé and Ticketmaster would want to avoid repeating that mess. That most likely explains the usage of the Verified Fan system.

Where will Beyoncé be playing?

The Renaissance World Tour will hit 40 cities in North America and across Europe. Stops include Paris, London, Amsterdam, Toronto, Chicago, East Rutherford, Atlanta, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Houston, and many more.

What has Beyoncé said about the Renaissance World Tour?

She just announced it was happening with a post on February 1. Her website didn't immediately contain any more details. But during the Wearable Art Gala in October 2022, she appeared to confirm it would start this summer, as a backstage tour with her mother Tina Lawson was up for auction at the event.

Will Beyoncé be performing at the Grammys (on February 5) and sharing more tour details there?

Not clear yet, but she is the most nominated artist at the ceremony . On January 21, Variety reported that “ talks with show producers are ongoing for a possible onstage appearance ” by Beyoncé.

What can we expect from the tour on stage?

Beyoncé hasn't shared that yet either, but given the artistry she put into her recent Dubai show , it's fair to say we can expect no less than excellence, elaborate costumes, and an incredible experience.

This post will be updated the moment more detail is released.

Everything we know about the Beyoncé Renaissance World Tour 2023

Alert the BeyHive!

Virginia Gil

Beyoncé is embarking on a world tour this summer and, naturally, the BeyHive is abuzz. She'll be crossing continents in support of her seventh studio album, Rennaisance , traveling from Stockholm to Warsaw to New York City to Miami as she hits more than 40 cities on this two-leg adventure spanning from May through September.

The last time our queen hit the road on a headlining tour, the year was 2016 and buying concert tickets isn't the disaster it is today. This was before the Taylor Swift debacle and the cringe-y Ticketmaster hearing in congress (Who knew so many senators were Swifties?). That said, getting your hands on tickets will require some strategic planning and preparation (and might break your soul).

Below, we've outlined everything you need to know about Beyoncé's Renaissance World Tour 2023, from which cities she'll hit to what you need to do ahead of time in order to buy tickets.

How can I get tickets for the Beyoncé Renaissance World Tour?

First, you'll need to register as a verified fan . This genius step will, hopefully, keep what happened to Swifties from affecting the BeyHive by filtering out buyers looking to resell tickets. Registration does not guarantee tickets but will create a better ticket-buying experience for fans.

Shows are grouped together for registration, and you'll need to sign up for each group should you want to buy tickets for multiple shows. Deadlines to register vary by city, so be sure to check the dates for your desired tour stop before the window closes.

No official on-sale dates have been announced, but the type of registration you sign up for (BeyHive Verified Fan, Citi Verified Fan or Verified Fan Onsale) will determine how quickly you can potentially "get in line" for tickets. The key takeaway, for now, should be to pre-register and check your emails regularly for updates on the next steps.

As Beyoncé ’s Renaissance Tour prepares to move stateside, the Queen just announced a few changes to the tour’s schedule.

Kansas City’s September 18 show is now on October 1.

The tour’s Pittsburgh show on August 3 has been canceled. Seattle’s September 13 show has been postponed to September 14.

Beyoncé is preparing to kick off the North American leg of  the  Renaissance  tour  this weekend in Toronto, after a 21-show European run that began in May.

The rescheduled dates mean her first tour in six years will now end in Kansas City.

$4,000 for Beyoncé: Here’s how much Kansas City fans spent on the Renaissance World Tour

A large lighted sign sits on a marble floor in a large building. It reads "BEY INKC" and is surrounded by a lot of silver balloons of different sizes and shapes like ponies stars and crowns.

50,000 Beyoncé fans are coming from near and far to see the final stop in the pop star’s Renaissance World Tour. Visit KC expects the show to generate more than $13 million for the local economy. KCUR spoke to Beyhive members in Kansas City and across the world about how they're preparing for the concert at Arrowhead Stadium.

Sunday marks the first time Beyoncé has come to Kansas City on a solo tour, and fans are going all out to celebrate.

Multiple Beyoncé-themed parties and events are planned leading up to the final Renaissance World Tour concert at Arrowhead Stadium, keeping fans entertained all weekend long.

Beyoncé came to the city in 2001 when Destiny’s Child performed as part of the TRL Tour and then again in 2003 when she made a surprise appearance during Jay-Z and 50 Cent’s show at Azura Amphitheater.

This time around, fans braved Ticketmaster’s now-infamous wait times and steep ticket fees to score tickets. But that’s only the first step in preparing for the concert. Many went all in on their outfits, putting together silver and black ensembles with glittery accessories.

Some KCUR staffers and I are also going to the show and were curious about how the preparation and money we spent on the concert compared to others.

Welcome to the Beyoncé Money Diaries, where five people attending the Kansas City concert have revealed exactly how much they paid.

Before we dig into what others spent, we thought we should be transparent about our own costs. These answers are a blend of what all three of us spent:

Where do you live? Kansas City, Missouri What do you do for work? Journalism! How old are you? Between 23-25 How long have you been a part of the BeyHive? More than 30 years, combined. One of the KCUR staffers going to the concert has been a fan since she bought the “I Am… Sasha Fierce” CD so she could perform to the song “Video Phone” in a horseback gymnastics event. Favorite Album? “RENAISSANCE,” “Lemonade” and “Homecoming: The Live Album” Favorite Song? “ Naughty Girl,” “Bow Down,” “Don't Hurt Yourself,” “End of Time,” “COZY,” “ENERGY” and “HEATED” between the three of us Concert total: $194 for two of us, $405 for another Outfit: $0, we all love shopping from our own closets Lodging and transportation: $30 for our gracious friends driving us to the show Ticket cost: Two of us spent $194 each for our tickets, one spent $375 for floor seats

Aaron Lambert

Three people pose for a selfie in front of a stage

Where do you live? London, England What do you do for work? Guest Services How old are you? 41 How long have you been a part of the BeyHive? 26 years Favorite Album? “RENAISSANCE” Favorite Song? “AMERICA HAS A PROBLEM” Concert total:  $3,100 Outfit: $200 Lodging and transportation: $1,800 for flight and hotel costs. Will also be paying for rideshares to get around town Ticket cost: $1,100 for Club Renaissance tickets at both concerts, including $600 for the Kansas City show Number of Beyoncé concerts before the Kansas City show: One, at the London stop of the Renaissance tour. The Kansas City show will be his second Craziest expense: Concert ticket and flight costs

Aaron Lambert has been a Beyoncé superfan for her entire career but hasn’t been able to see her on any of her previous tours. Lambert jumped at the chance to see Beyoncé perform at one of her five Renaissance tour dates in London. He got a ticket for Club Renaissance — where fans are directly in the middle of Beyoncé’s circular stage — and decided he had to see the show again. This time, he splurged on tickets for a U.S. date. This show will be his first time visiting the country.

“Originally it was September the 18th,” Lambert said. “And then the next day it got rescheduled. So I just took this as a sign I’m supposed to be at the last show. It makes it even more important.”

Lambert says Beyoncé’s tour is more than a concert, it’s a party. After COVID-19, Lambert felt anti-social and isolated. He says the London show was the first time he felt free to let go. Buying another Club Renaissance ticket, as well as hotels and airfare, was more than worth it for him to see Beyoncé again.

“For me as a Black, gay male, I don't remember the last time I've been in a space where I felt free and comfortable and all brought together for one common cause,” Lambert said. “The power of bringing all these people together from around the globe — because not only am I traveling from London, there's people traveling from all corners of the earth — is such a powerful thing in a time where we've kind of not really been.”

Inside a large ornate building (Union Station in Kansas City) a small group of people walk past a lighted sign that reads "BEY INKC. The sign is surrounded by a variety of silver balloons of different sizes and shapes like unicorns, stars and crowns.

Danielle R.

Where do you live? Kansas City, Missouri What do you do for work? Banking and finance How old are you? 43 How long have you been a part of the BeyHive? 26 years Favorite Album? “RENAISSANCE,” “Beyoncé” and “Lemonade” Favorite Song? ”Hello,” “Ego,” “HEATED” and “VIRGO’S GROOVE” Concert total: $4,000 Outfit: $200 Lodging and transportation: $1,600 for hotel for the Chicago show. Ticket cost: $2,200 for three tickets to the Chicago show for Danielle and her daughters. Kansas City tickets were a birthday gift Number of Beyoncé concerts before the Kansas City show: Four, on four different tours. The Kansas City show will be her second on the Renaissance tour Craziest expense: Ticketmaster fees

Danielle R., a longtime member of the Beyhive who didn’t want to share her last name, has been a Beyoncé fan since the star was in Destiny’s Child. Her fandom escalated when Beyoncé released “I Am… Sasha Fierce” in 2008. Before then, Danielle was having a hard time choosing who to support in the Destiny’s Child breakup. Since Jay-Z has been her favorite rapper, she stuck with Beyoncé because they were together. Now, her feelings have changed.

“At this point, if something were to happen with her and Jay, I don't know if I'm going with Jay,” Danielle said. “I feel like I'm just here for Beyoncé now.”

Danielle loves sharing Beyoncé with her family, who all love the superstar. She’s been to see Beyoncé on four different tours, most of them with her daughters, who she says are Beyoncé superfans. Danielle went all out to take her daughters to the Chicago stop of her Renaissance tour and was shocked when her husband gave her tickets to the Kansas City show as a birthday present.

“I had older parents, so this was not something that my parents or my mom did with me,” Danielle said. “It was nice to be able to take them to see Beyoncé. My girls were like eight and six when we went to see that first show. It's been very rewarding for me just as a parent to get to share this with them.”

A group of people in glittery outfits stand in front of a stage

Where do you live? Jersey City, New Jersey What do you do for work? Healthcare marketing How old are you? 34 How long have you been a part of the BeyHive? 26 years Favorite Album? “RENAISSANCE” or “4” Favorite Song? “ Green Light” Concert total: $2,400 Outfit: About $600 for three different concert outfits Lodging and transportation: He’s staying with friends and paid for flights with miles, so will only be paying for rideshares to get around Ticket cost: About $1,800, including $300 for the Kansas City show Number of Beyoncé concerts before the Kansas City show: 10 shows, including three this tour. The Kansas City show will be his fourth on the Renaissance tour Craziest expense: Ticket costs

Ken Tran has seen Beyoncé three times already on the Renaissance tour. But Kansas City’s rescheduled date worked out well for him and his boyfriend, who wanted to see the show again. Tran said he didn’t “have to twist my arm to go see another Beyoncé show.” Seeing four shows on the tour — Beyoncé’s favorite number — adds extra sentimentality to the experience for Tran.

“My friends and I all have a joke about it, you always save money for Beyoncé,” Tran said. “That's been something we've learned through the years, especially since her self-titled album. There's always going to be some surprise Beyoncé thing that's going to come up. It's a matter of, in that moment when that happens, are we going to have the funds available to do it?”

Tran has loved putting his outfits together for the shows and even bought a Telfar jumpsuit similar to the one Beyoncé and her backup dancers wear on the tour. He’s looking forward to seeing what the star might add during her last stop on the U.S. run of the tour.

“There's always something new and unexpected,” Tran said. “Even going into this last one, I'm not sure what she'll pull out because I feel like it's gonna be the last show, whatever she wants to do at this endpoint is going to happen. That makes it really exciting.”

Brandon Woodard

A collage shows one man posing with different people at a concert

Where do you live? Lenexa, Kansas What do you do for work? Representative in the Kansas House of Representatives How old are you? 33 How long have you been a part of the BeyHive? 26 years Favorite Album? “RENAISSANCE” Favorite Song? “Love On Top” Concert total: $420 Outfit: $20 Lodging and transportation: $50 for a party bus to the concert Ticket cost: $350 Number of Beyoncé concerts before the Kansas City show: Six. Sunday’s show will be his seventh Craziest expense: No crazy expense, just in awe that Beyoncé is finally coming to Kansas City

This is the first time Brandon Woodard, a Kansas House representative, scored presale status for a Beyoncé tour. He wasn’t going to let anything — not even a legislative session in which he was questioning a university chancellor — stand in his way of getting tickets.

“I had pre-warned the chancellor and his staff that I had presale for Beyoncé,” Woodard said. “So if I looked distracted I was just buying my tickets, but I was still there. Naturally, as soon as I got to first in line of presale was also in the middle of questioning him. It's been a running joke with his staff that while I was there to support higher education, I also had my priorities in line to make sure I had my Beyoncé tickets as well.”

Woodard has been a fan since Beyoncé’s days in Destiny’s Child, and has vowed he’ll go to see her shows whenever she’s near the Kansas City area. This is the first time that he’ll be able to see her in Kansas City, though, which makes this show more exciting.

“I was one of the many people that when Beyoncé went solo, we were all like, ‘What are you doing? This is our favorite band,’” Woodard said. “But her music is uplifting, exciting and it's always been one of those things as I've gone into this crazy world of politics that has kept me upbeat and feeling optimistic.”

Areiona King

A collage photo shows a concert view on the left and a woman smiling with her back against a wall on the right

Where do you live? Kansas City, Kansas What do you do for work? Freelance photographer, doula and co-host of the “Radical Alignment” podcast How old are you? 31 How long have you been a part of the BeyHive? 26 years Favorite Album? “Dangerously in Love” and “Beyoncé” Favorite Song? “PLASTIC OF THE SOFA,” “VIRGO’S GROOVE,” “CHURCH GIRL” and “Signs” Concert total: $650 Outfit: $200, including $80 to get her makeup done Lodging and transportation: $50 Ticket cost: $400 Number of Beyoncé concerts before the Kansas City show: One, when she saw Beyoncé on the “On the Run” tour with Jay-Z. Sunday’s show will be her first time seeing Beyoncé headline a solo tour Craziest expense: Ticket costs

Areiona King has loved Beyoncé since her Destiny’s Child days, but Beyoncé wasn’t actually her favorite member of the group. King says watching her music career evolve and grow is what made her a Beyoncé superfan.

“We’ve grown with her and vice versa,” King said. “I have road trip memories with Beyoncé’s self-titled album. I remember “I Am… Sasha Fierce” came out right when I got my first car. Every album is a time stamp.”

King has loved sharing in the camaraderie of getting ready for the Beyoncé show. She’s been shopping all week putting her outfit together and says it’s been special to shop alongside other women getting their outfits for the concert and encouraging each other. Every time she thought she should scale back her preparation or excitement for the concert, King kept saying “but it’s Beyoncé.”

“This is the conclusion, the finale,” King said. “That puts so much more energy behind what this moment is going to be and what she's going to deliver. That's a really big thing. Just the energy behind this, the last stop. We're not just somewhere in the middle. This is the finale. I can't say it enough.”

Tickets for these dates of Beyoncé's tour are now on sale: What fans need to know

beyonce tour dates kansas

Tickets to the first of three groupings of  Beyoncé's Renaissance World Tour dates went on sale Monday and, not surprisingly, are doing brisk business for the Grammy legend.

In fact, her first show – May 10 in Stockholm, Sweden – sold out Tuesday, prompting the singer to add an additional Stockholm show on May 11.

Back in the U.S., staggering on-sale dates have prevented ticket sale meltdowns  (so far anyway) as experienced when Taylor Swift put her tour tickets up for grabs last year .

Queen Bey, who Sunday night became the  all-time Grammy champion , announced her tour last week and immediately saw fan demand exceed the number of tickets by 800%.

Group A tickets are now on sale. If you're in Groups B and C, there's still some time to get a seat to what promises to be one of the hottest tours in years.

Here's our detailed look on how to get tickets . For the latest timing details, visit Ticketmaster and find the event info for your desired date and city.

Here's what else fans should know:

How much are Beyoncé tickets?

USA TODAY found face-value ticket prices that ranged from $62 and up. Club Renaissance tickets were closer to $1,000, and some floor seats were $300 and bowl seats were around $500. Ticket prices will vary according to city and venue.

Many artists have begun to give concert promoters the OK to make a portion of each show's best seats subject to Dynamic Pricing , which is an attempt to match demand with the supply of premium seats.

The end result can sometimes be prices that far exceed original face value, as some fans of Bruce Springsteen found when dynamically priced seats for his tour cost upwards of $4,000. Only about 12% of Springsteen tickets were sold this way, his management reported.

When are Group B and C ticket sales?

Beyoncé put tickets for her U.S. tour dates on sale in three groups: A, B and C. Here are the dates and deadlines for the next round of ticket sales.

  • The Renaissance World Tour wrapped last October in Kansas City. It was hailed as a must-see event.

Insider Today

Less than a year after the Renaissance World Tour wrapped, it might already be time for the Beyhive to dust off their boots and head back out to see Beyoncé live again.

The Renaissance World Tour was hailed as a once-in-a-lifetime event , a bona fide status symbol , and a blockbuster concert movie that awed audiences while near-singlehandedly boosting AMC's revenue . The 56-show run wrapped on October 1, 2023, in Kansas City.

On its heels, Beyoncé has released her new album " Cowboy Carter ." The triumphant country-inspired project is billed as "Act II" in a three-part "Renaissance" series.

So it would stand to reason — financially and thematically — that Beyoncé would plan another tour leg for "Cowboy Carter."

Her team seemed to hint that something is coming by launching a new website, " Been Country ." The landing page shows a photo of young Beyoncé performing at the Texas Sweetheart Pageant, as well as a childhood photo of her mother, Tina Knowles-Lawson , and an image of a banjo.

View this post on Instagram A post shared by Slayonce Avenue (@slayonce_avenue2)

A fan account on Instagram shared a rumor that the tour announcement is scheduled for Friday, exactly one week after the album's arrival. Knowles-Lawson liked the post, adding more fuel to the rumor's flame.

Beyoncé's longtime collaborator The-Dream, who produced 10 of the new album's 27 tracks, also alluded to a forthcoming tour. He celebrated the release of "Cowboy Carter" on X, writing, "This tour bout to B' Incredible!"

Fans grabbed screenshots of The-Dream's post, though it has since been deleted.

However, the six-month turnaround since Beyoncé's last concert does cast suspicion on these theories. Thanks to "Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé," we know the Renaissance World Tour took four years to ideate and execute.

It's unclear if plans for a "Cowboy Carter" show were also in the works during that time, but if not, fans may have to wait a bit longer to watch Beyoncé perform. As she's already made clear, " A queen moves at her own pace ."

Even so, a delay may come as welcome news, even for dedicated members of the Beyhive.

Many fans have been posting about their lack of ticket funds on X, playfully begging Beyoncé to put off touring until next year.

Beyoncé cancels, postpones three U.S. dates on ‘Renaissance World Tour’

Tour stops in Seattle and Kansas City are postponed, while a stop in Pittsburgh is canceled, all due to “production logistics and scheduling issues.”

The North American leg of Beyoncé’s “Renaissance World Tour” is set to begin later this month, but there are a few hiccups. Three future shows in Pennsylvania, Oregon, and Missouri have already been canceled or postponed, as announced by the venues.

Beyoncé’s Aug. 3 tour stop in Pittsburgh is canceled. Representatives of the Acrisure Stadium announced via  Twitter  on Wednesday that the show won’t go on because of “production logistics and scheduling issues.” Acrisure Stadium stated that fans would get refunds at the point of purchase.

Two shows on the “Renaissance World Tour” are now postponed. The show initially slated for Sept. 13 at Seattle’s  Lumen Field  has moved one day to Sept. 14. Meanwhile, the Sept. 18 gig at  GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium  in Kansas City will now take place on Oct. 1, positioning it as the final concert date of the tour.

Just as Acrisure Stadium did, both the Lumen Field and GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium cited via Twitter “production logistics and scheduling issues” as the reasoning behind the postponed concert dates. Each venue stated that ticket holders for the original dates would be honored for the new dates.

Beyoncé wrapped the  European leg  of the “Renaissance World Tour” in Warsaw last month. The first leg had zero cancelations or postponements. The “Break My Soul” superstar played for 1.05 million concertgoers so far, hitting 21 international cities in countries that included England, Germany, the Netherlands, and Sweden.

The European leg generated $154.4 million for Beyoncé, the most she’s ever grossed for the European leg of her previous tours. With the North American tour scheduled for Saturday in Toronto, she’s currently on pace to gross more than $264 million.

With the cancelation of the Pittsburgh show, the North American leg of the “Renaissance World Tour” is now slated to hit 25 cities including Nashville, Chicago, Las Vegas, Boston, Atlanta, Miami, Philadelphia, and Detroit.

Why Beyoncé Fans Are Asking Her to Hold Off on Announcing a Cowboy Carter Tour

R umors that Beyoncé will announce a tour to support her eighth studio album, Cowboy Carter , have been swirling online since the project came out last week. And though the singer has not announced plans for a tour as yet, the speculation has many fans already anticipating steep ticket prices.

“BRB gonna apply for a new credit card,” wrote one person on X in response to a post from a pop culture account that suggests Beyoncé will announce a tour on Friday. “I mean, we don’t have money, but we will be there,” wrote another.

While there has been no official announcement of a new tour, the singer’s most followed fan accounts fueled rumors on Thursday by sharing a link on to a site called BeenCountry.com, which takes users to a page of photos of Beyoncé and one of her mother when she was younger with her maiden name, Celestine Beyince.

As rumors fly, fans are begging Beyoncé to hold off on announcing a tour, joking that they still need to financially recover from her last one. The Renaissance World Tour, which wrapped up in Oct. 2023 and was her first since the On The Run Tour II in 2018. According to Billboard , tickets for the Renaissance Tour ranged in price depending on the reseller. The average fan could expect to pay around $400 to $550, Billboard reported, with resale tickets for her Houston show going for as low as $279.

“NO TOUR UNTIL 2025,” one post said, and it was met with support from other commenters. “I ain’t going to the cowboy carter tour y'all,” another post says, “I thought I had more time. I thought I had more time.”

Another person joked that they wouldn’t be able to eat real food because they knew the concert would be expensive. According to Billboard , the Renaissance Tour tickets ranged in price depending on the reseller. They report that the average fan could expect to pay around $400 to $550, with resale tickets for her Houston show going for as low as $279.

The rumors of a new tour are still unfounded, but not impossible—although it would come faster than Beyoncé’s announcement for the Renaissance World Tour, which arrived several months after she released the album in 2022. It would not be unlike Beyoncé to have a few tricks up her sleeve, some that delight her fans—and some that throw them into a frenzy.

Future and Metro sprinted out of the gates with their We Don’t Trust You album in March, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 251,000 total album-equivalent units in the week ending March 28, per Luminate.

Album standout “Like That” featuring Kendrick Lamar’s atomic bomb on the rap game is spending a third week atop the Billboard Hot 100. The fiery track soared to No. 1 on the Hot 100 and is the first rap song to spend its first three weeks at the summit since Drake’s “Nice for What.”

“HIP HOP IS ALIVE AND WELL #WEDONTTRUSTYOU,” Metro wrote on social media after learning “Like That” had notched him his first No. 1 hit as a billed artist. (He previously reached the summit as a co-producer and co-writer on Migos’ “Bad & Boujee” and The Weeknd’s “Heartless.”)

The duo could be making yet another splash on the charts as Pluto and Young Metro returned to give fans 25 more tracks packaged as another album, fittingly titled We Still Don’t Trust You .

The Henry Mancini 100th Sessions

Mancini seemed to have a charmed life and career, except for dying at the relatively young age of 70.

April 16 marks the centennial of Henry Mancini ’s birth. The composer won album of the year at the inaugural Grammy Awards in 1959 (for The Music From Peter Gunn ) and was the first composer to win back-to-back Oscars for best original song (for “Moon River” and “Days of Wine and Roses,” both written with lyricist Johnny Mercer).

The Mancini family is celebrating the centennial on multiple fronts, and has announced The Henry Mancini 100th Sessions – Henry Has Company. The album, with a title that nods to Ray Charles’ posthumous 2004 hit Genius Loves Company , will be available June 21 via Primary Wave. The first single, “Peter Gunn” — featuring Quincy Jones, John Williams, Herbie Hancock, and Arturo Sandoval — is out now.

On being asked to contribute to the upcoming album, Michael Bublé said: “When the Mancini family calls and asks you to be a part of honoring the legacy of a genius, you say, ‘Thank you so very much. I would love to be there.’ … You say yes!”

Here’s the full track list for The Henry Mancini 100th Sessions – Henry Has Company .

Additionally, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame on Tuesday unveiled an installation on behalf of Mancini’s 100th birthday in its Cleveland Rocks gallery. The installation features Mancini’s Grammy for album of the year, a bomber jacket with embroidered “Hank” from the Pink Panther Tour, a handwritten score of Peter Gunn and more.

TCM will honor Mancini’s birthday Tuesday with a lineup of programming dedicated to the late composer. The full 24-hour schedule will feature classics that he scored, including The Pink Panther, Breakfast at Tiffany’s and Two for the Road .

This past Valentine’s Day, Tiffany’s in New York displayed a handwritten letter from Audrey Hepburn, the star of Breakfast at Tiffany’s , to Mancini. Last week, Tiffany’s in Tokyo unveiled its display of Mancini’s two Oscars for the film (best original song and best original score) as well as Hepburn’s dress from the film. The exhibition is open to the public until June 23.

CBS Sunday Morning has aired two tribute episodes on the Mancini centennial, with a third episode to be aired prior to the release of the album.

On Aug. 4, music director, conductor and arranger Kevin Stites will explore Mancini’s music at the annual Gala Benefit Evening at the Ravinia Festival. Curated and hosted by actor Rob Lindley, “Mancini at 100: The Music of Henry Mancini” features Broadway vocalists Jessie Mueller, Norm Lewis and Karen Mason.

This fall, The Extraordinary Life of Henry Mancini: Official Graphic Novel will hit shelves. This new graphic novel, written by David Calcano and illustrated by the studio Fantoons, illustrates every step in Mancini’s journey.

Mancini’s songs have been covered by a broad range of artists, including Beyoncé, Carpenters, Frank Ocean, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Elton John and R.E.M.

“Moon River” ranked No. 4 on AFI’s 2004 list AFI’s 100 Years…100 Songs , behind “Over the Rainbow” from The Wizard of Oz , “As Time Goes By” from Casablanca and “Singin’ in the Rain” from the movie of the same name. (Of these four songs, only “Moon River” and Over the Rainbow” were written for those films.)

“Days of Wine and Roses” ranked No. 39 on that list. Mancini’s score for The Pink Panther ranked No. 20 on AFI’s 2005 list AFI’s 100 Years of Film Scores.

Mancini was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1984. He received a lifetime achievement award from the Recording Academy posthumously in 1995.

Mancini seemed to have a charmed life and career, except for dying at the relatively young age of 70 of pancreatic cancer. He died in Los Angeles on June 14, 1994, while he was working on the Broadway adaptation of Victor/Victoria . He had won his fourth Oscar for that 1982 film.
