Your guide to seeing taylor swift's eras tour at u.s. bank stadium this weekend.

And you thought getting tickets was the hard part. It was. We know all too well. But dealing with U.S. Bank Stadium and transportation issues presents whole other challenges.

So let's make it easy on you with these tips.

Purses and bags. Like all NFL stadiums, U.S. Bank Stadium has a strict policy about carry-ins. No large bags or backpacks. As for purses, they must be no larger than 4.5 by 6.5 inches (with or without a strap/handle). Also permitted are bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12 by 6 by 12 inches. Or go low-budget with a one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag. Medical necessity bags are allowed on a case-by-case basis.

Parking. There are plenty of lots and ramps in downtown Minneapolis. However, many are a good hike from U.S. Bank Stadium. Maybe take a pedicab from those spots. Parking prices vary widely, from $6 to more than $50 as you get closer to the stadium. Keep in mind that there will be massive traffic jams/delays after the concert. Because the concert typically ends around 11:20, figure on a late night. Pack snacks and drinks for the long ride home. And pillows for the kids even if they're totally wired after Taylor.

Light rail. Metro Transit now is planning to add extra light rail trains and/or bus service on Friday and Saturday nights. The concert is expected to end at 11:20-ish.

Ride-share. Getting dropped off at the Vikings stadium should be relatively easy because not all 50,000-plus people will arrive at the same time. But after the concert? Your best bet is to walk downtown to an address/intersection away from the stadium and avoid 6 th Street, which will seem like a not-too-swift parking lot post-Taylor.

Cameras. Nonprofessional still-photo cameras with an attached lens are permitted. So are cellphones. (You can bring a small portable charger.) Binoculars are OK, too, but there will be giant live-video screens.

Getting into the stadium. Your ticket will suggest a gate. So before you arrive, locate the gate on a stadium map. For instance, the Legacy Gate is the largest one, by the giant doors on the west end of the stadium. Because the gates are named for corporate partners instead of with letters or numbers, there is no logic to their order. Also, arrive early because you will be screened at a security checkpoint.

Food. U.S. Bank Stadium is cashless, so you'll need credit or debit cards. Concession stands will be open during the shows. Aramark has ordered 400 cases of chicken tenders, 40,000 concert souvenir cups and 92,000 bottles of water, among other items. By the way, no metal water containers are allowed.

Buy buy buy. A merchandise booth will be set up outside U.S. Bank Stadium beginning on Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. It will offer essentially the same souvenirs that are available at the concert, but you don't need a ticket to buy a Tay Tay tee outside the stadium. The same merch — and a whole lot more — is for sale at store.taylorswift.com , but you don't get instant gratification. On Friday and Saturday, the outside-the-stadium merch shop opens at noon and will be open after the shows. Pro tip: Buy merch before Taylor hits the stage; supplies may dwindle by the end of the concert.

On time. There are two opening acts starting at 6:30 p.m. Taylor typically hits the stage at 7:55-ish. And she plays until 11:20 or so. Yep, three hours-plus. It's been five years since she's toured, and she has a lot of songs to sing.

Review: TAYLOR SWIFT - THE ERAS TOUR at U.S. Bank Stadium

This concert is June 23rd and June 24th.

Performing at U.S. Bank Stadium, Taylor Swift brings her two-night fully sold-out concert to Minneapolis, Minnesota. A lot of businesses and restaurants planned Swiftie parties, food and drink specials all Taylor-themed during the weekend to welcome Taylor back to Minneapolis. Even the mayor - Jacob Frey - declared this weekend to be "Swiftie-apolis!". 

Prior to the concert, crowds poured into Minneapolis, all dressed in their Era's themed outfits and trading friendship bracelets outside. They took fun photos, buying merch, and got pumped up for the concert! Taylor had two openers, Girl in Red and Gracie Abrams, who performed their music sets for the crowd. Then, after videos of Taylor from the past played on the big screens for fans to watch, she came on.

The countdown began on the large screen to Taylor Swift and the audience ran wild and screamed in excitement for Taylor to appear on stage. The stage was massive and stretched down the main floor. Taylor's dancers came out on stage with large coverings that depicted petals of flowers. They covered the middle area and then Taylor made a grand entrance as she rose up from the floor. The fans screamed with excitement and Taylor smiled and acknowledged her fans from multiple angles on the stage. She opened with "Miss Americana and The Heartbreak Prince."

Taylor took us through all of her albums and Eras. She sang many of her hit songs and dressed for all of her Eras in costumes that represented her different albums. My personal favorite was the dress she wore from "Enchanted" from her Speak Now album. She looked absolutely incredible.

The sets were massive as she did "The Man" where she had a multi level house and Betty, where she had a tree house. These sets were elaborate and it felt like you were in a music video with her. Her back-up dancers were excellent and in character. The concert had many theatrical elements to it. Throughout the night Taylor shared with the crowd about her inspirations for her music and writing process. She also shared how she re-recorded Taylor's version album. 

The large screens where the videos played also had scenes and backgrounds for each of her songs representative of different eras and albums. When they appeared between each song, the audience screamed knowing what was coming next. 

Taylor surprised the fans with two songs: Paper Rings, which she played on her acoustic guitar. She also played If This Was A Movie (Taylor's Version) from Fearless (Taylor's Version) on the piano. It was beautiful and the crowd grew wild as it's always a guess what her surprise songs will be at each concert. The crowd loved both. 

Taylor proved why she is a chart topping, Grammy winner, world wide icon. She is a talented singer, songwriter, and musician and loyal to her fans. She gave a spectacular concert that started at 8 PM right on the dot and was three straight hours. It was an unforgettable night. I would highly encourage everyone to see Taylor Swift - The Eras Tour.

Children under age five do not need a ticket to attend a U.S. Bank Stadium Tour. Children must be accompanied by an adult while touring U.S. Bank Stadium.

What Do I Get To See On The Tour?

Public and Group Tours

Many spaces will be available for the stadium tours including, but not limited to, the Vikings Locker Room, Legacy Ship, Stadium Art Collection, premium clubs and suites, field area, interview rooms, and the Thomson Reuters Press Level. Tour routes are subject to change due to availability based on events and activities throughout the stadium.

In addition to all of the spaces included in the public and group tours, the Ultimate Touchdown Tour includes a VIP pregame experience. It captures the excitement of gameday, while also showcasing the features and behind the scenes looks at the stadium art collection, press level, and premium areas such as clubs and suites. The opportunities to explore the inner workings of the stadium, experience the preparation for gameday, and play on the U.S. Bank Stadium field, paired with learning about the history, architecture, sustainability efforts, and operation of the stadium from knowledgeable tour guides, makes this an exciting educational activity for guests of all ages.

What Is Included In An Educational Tour?

U.S. Bank Stadium offers Educational Tours for students and school groups, including public, private, and home school groups, summer camps, college classes, etc. If you are unsure if your group qualifies for an Educational Tour, describe your group in the tour request form and a Tour Representative will respond as soon as possible.

Educational Tours include a full guided tour of the stadium plus additional learning opportunities. 

• Grades K-8 offer a 30-minute educational presentation about either the sustainability features and initiatives of U.S. Bank Stadium or insight into career paths in the sports and events industry.
• Grades 9-12+ offer a Q & A session with a U.S. Bank Stadium employee that focuses on a specific area of interest, pending availability. Please note your interest for either the presentation or speaker on the tour request form below. 

Please note:  we require two (2) weeks notice before your requested educational tour date.

How Long Do Tours Last?

Tours are ninety (90) minutes long. Please wear comfortable walking shoes.

Are Tours Accessible For ADA Needs?

All tours are accessible. Wheelchairs are available per request and require an accompanied guest to assist.

What Times Of Day Are Offered For Tours? Are They Offered On The Weekends?

Tours are currently offered Thursday - Sunday, beginning at 10:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM, and 3:00 PM. Tours are not offered on blackout dates.

Is Parking Available For Tours?

There are several options for parking around U.S. Bank Stadium, but parking is not included with the tour purchase. We encourage public transportation to the stadium as well as locating parking in nearby areas. The Stadium Parking Ramp is located near the U.S. Bank Stadium Ticket Office at 740 S 4 th  Street, Minneapolis, MN 55415.

• Any bag larger than 12″ x 6″ x 12″
• Hard sided containers or coolers, briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs, cinch bags, luggage of any kind, computer bags, camera bags and large traditional seat cushions that have pockets*
• Glass, cans, aluminum bottles or thermoses of any kind*
• Laser pens/pointers
• Video cameras or mono/tripods
• Cameras with lenses over six (6) inches long
• Laptop computers
• Large/golf umbrellas
• Firearms, knives or weapons of any kind
• Illegal drugs or substances
• Alcoholic beverages
• Signs, banners or flags on poles, staffs or selfie sticks
• Televisions
• Animals (except service animals to aid persons with disabilities)
• Air horns, whistles, cowbells or other distracting noisemakers
• Any devices that may interfere with and/or distract any sports or event participant, other guests, audio or audio/visual telecast or recording of the game or event or any technology-related service provided at the stadium
• Projectiles (ie. frisbees, beach balls, footballs)
• Aerosol (ie. mace, pepper spray, hairspray, sunscreen)
• Fireworks, confetti or glitter
• Obscene or indecent clothing
• Use of wheeled footwear, skateboards and hover boards

What If I Arrive After My Scheduled Tour Time?

Plan to arrive 5 minutes early before your designated tour time as tours begin promptly on time. Guests that arrive more than 10 minutes late to their scheduled tour shall be denied admittance into the stadium for their tour. 

What Happens If There Is Inclement Weather?

Our tours operate rain or shine. Emergency weather may impact the operation. Refunds or re-scheduling under this condition is TBD. If your tour is cancelled or rescheduled due to weather, you will be contacted by the U.S. Bank Stadium Tours Department.

Where Can Buses Park While The Tour Is Going On?

Bus parking is suggested on 7th St. between Chicago Ave. and 11th Ave.

Where Does The Tour Guide Meet For Tours?

Public tours and Ultimate Touchdown Tours start at the Polaris Gate on the north-west side of the stadium, next to the Ticket Office.

How Much Does A Private Or Educational Tour Cost?

The cost for a group tour depends on the number of guests in your group. Please fill out the tour request form with an accurate number of guests and our tour department will reach out to you in 24-48 business hours with an estimated tour cost. Where Do We Start Our Educational Or Private Tours?

The starting point for all group tours (both private and educational) is at the Legacy Gate located on the west side of the stadium off of Chicago Avenue.

Tour Policies

Tours begin promptly at their designated time. Guests arriving more than 10 minutes late to their scheduled tour shall be denied admittance into the stadium for their tour. 

All tour dates, times and tour stops are subject to change without notice due to events in the stadium. Specific tour routes are established each day based on events and activities in the stadium, therefore all sites on the tour are subject to availability.

Discounted tickets will require proof of ID. Please have your military/student ID with you on your tour.

Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.

Notify your tour guide of any special needs including wheelchair access. All public and private tours are wheelchair accessible and complimentary wheelchairs are available upon request (subject to availability).

U.S. Bank Stadium is a smoke-free facility.

Guests are welcome to carry in the following items at U.S. Bank Stadium:

• Factory-sealed plastic bottle of water that is less than 12 ounces
• Still-photography cameras with a lens that is 6 inches or less in length
• Hand-carried jackets or blankets; which will be searched upon entry

Features & amenities.

Club Purple offers one of the more unique premium seating opportunities at U.S. Bank Stadium. The area features three seating options; fans can choose from lounge couches, loge boxes, and more traditional club seating.

Club Purple tickets come with access to a club lounge with a private entrance, dining tables, restrooms and three different bars. An exclusive outdoor balcony with views of the Minneapolis skyline is also accessible from these seats.

For Vikings games , these are all-inclusive seats . Guests can sit back and enjoy a premium menu of complimentary food, beer, wine and soft drinks.

Club Purple Couches

Besides for the outdoor patio, the defining feature of Club Purple are the couches. Each couch is located in a semi-private area with space for 6-12 guests. During Vikings games, couch-side drink service is available.
