Ready to take advantage of world-class itineraries and cruise packages? With flights reserved using Princess EZair® , you’ll benefit from even greater convenience and cost savings. Start your journey with simplified booking and affordable flight options that best complement your cruise by considering where and when you set sail. Whether you’re traveling solo or looking for the best group cruise deals, let Princess help create your best vacation yet.
Princess EZair
Imagine if planning your dream cruise vacation was as seamless as the journey. Princess EZair makes it simple to find flights. With two different pricing options available, you can enjoy the benefits of the EZair program without going beyond your budget. Choose from Flexible Fares or Restricted Fares to best meet your needs. Some benefits of the EZair program include:
- Cost savings : When you book your air travel through EZair, enjoy exclusive low prices that may not be publicly available. Plus, see a comparison of fares to choose the one that makes the most sense for you.
- Flexibility: If you want the freedom to change your flight, opt for our Flexible Fares option, which can often cost less than Restricted Fares. Life happens, and with this benefit, you have the ability to alter reservations up to 45 days before your departure without any cancellation fees. You’ll only pay for the cost difference of your new flight, unless the price is lower. And you can book your air travel in advance with no amount due until you make your final cruise payment.
- Protection: With so many variables in play, flight delays can happen, but they shouldn’t disrupt your vacation plans. If you experience a flight disruption on the day of travel with EZair, we’ll work with the airline to find the next best flight, so you can still embark on your world adventures. If you miss your flight on the way home due to your cruise or transfer, we’ll even help you make new travel arrangements for your return trip.
- Support: Though specific questions or concerns should be addressed with your airline, like seat assignments, our En Route Desk is available 24/7 as an extra level of support. We’ll help you find flights that fit your cruise with our easy-to-use tool that provides flight suggestions based on when and where you sail. That way you don’t have to worry about whether you've chosen the right flight to get you to your cruise on time. You can also easily modify your reservations if you want more time in port before or after your cruise.
Your cruise vacation is more than just a holiday. It’s the chance to unwind and explore. Princess EZair helps your journey take flight by allowing you to forgo the stress of transportation planning. Similar to putting together ideal cruise and flight packages, EZair makes it easy to coordinate flights, save on fares and ensure you land your ultimate vacation. All that’s left for you to do is sit back, relax and set sail on a dream vacation.

How to Book a Cruise Including Flights
by Emily Dopp
Published on 21 May 2023
Spend more time anticipating your future cruise vacation and less time on the planning when you book your flight along with the cruise itself. There's no need to plot connections – your cruise line offers up options that work best with your cruise's departure port. Catch a cruise deal on airfare and the move might also save money on your vacation budget, leaving more for souvenirs and fun along the way. Additionally, receive some protection against cancellations and get the best price on your flight, cruise fare, and even some perks when you let your cruise line take care of your flight travel plans.
Advantages of Booking Flights Through Your Cruise Line
Imagine sitting at the airport because of a flight delay due to weather or mechanical issues, or you were bumped from a flight, risking you missing your embarkation time. Trying to make alternate plans to get to your cruise on time could be overwhelming and potentially cost more, interrupting your getaway. When you book the flight along with your cruise ship, most cruise lines guarantee to get you to the next cruise port at no cost to you and supply a complimentary hotel stay in the meantime. Additionally, cruise lines often offer the lowest rate on base airfare. They can do this because they negotiate bulk contract fares with certain airlines. However, some cruise and travel agents say that fares for short flights usually compare to what you'd get if booking yourself, with the most savings on long-haul flights.
Considerations for Booking a Cruise Including Flights
Not all flights included with cruises are the same. Some flight packages have a tight connection or arrival time that can make you nervous about getting on board in time to sail. Carnival and Princess offer protection guarantees that will get you to the ship at the next port. Choice of travel time may also be limited, which could mean red-eye flights that leave you bleary-eyed and weary at the start of a vacation. Those wanting a more flexible schedule to enjoy the origination city for a day or two might want to pass on cruises that include flights to have more of a say in their air travel.
Finding Cruises With Flight Packages
Several major cruise lines in the U.S. make it easy to connect with your cruise with options to book your flight for any cruise with cruise packages:
- Carnival: The Fly2Fun air program lets you book your flight between 4 and 321 days before your ship sails in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, South America, the Caribbean and Central America. The cruise line offers two products: With Flexible Fares, you don't pay airfare until making your final cruise payment; the lower-priced Restricted Fares requires you to pay when booking the cruise.
- Holland America Line: FlightEase offers competitive pricing from multiple airlines, late arrival guarantee and booking up to 330 days before your departure date.
- Princess Cruises: EZAir promotions advertise that flexible fares are sometimes even lower than restricted fares. The company offers late arrival protection and flight changes within 45 days with no change fee
- Royal Caribbean: The Air2Sea program guarantees the lowest price on your choice of airlines. If they miss the mark, they'll credit back 110 percent of the difference as credits onboard your cruise. They also give you your choice of flights from those that will work with the cruise departure time. The company guarantees you'll make your cruise on time if booking through them.
Booking Tips
Book airfare after you've reserved your cruise and received a reservation ID number. Cruise lines with a flight program have online reservation functions that let you enter your cruise information to search various flights and airlines.
Check whether transfers from the airport to the dock or hotel are included with your airfare. Some cruise lines offer separate transportation packages that must be booked between two and five days prior to your travel date. Others, like Regent Seven Seas have all-inclusive packages that schedule your transportation as a matter of course at time of booking your cruise travel.
Should I book my flight through my cruise line?
Update: Some offers mentioned below are no longer available. View the current offers here .
Choose a cruise deal with airfare included, or book an air-cruise package, and your cruise purchase can really be one-stop shopping. You always get transportation, food and lodging all in one price with a cruise, but book your airfare through your cruise line, and you'll take care of the majority of your travel plans in one transaction.
But should you book your flights through your cruise line? While doing so can offer various benefits, you will want to consider whether the pros outweigh any cons. The answer will depend on your particular travel situation, and whether you're contemplating a cruise with flights included in the deal or simply paying for flights through your cruise line.
Learn more about the benefits and drawbacks of cruise and flight packages to determine whether it's a smart move to book your flights via your cruise line.

5 reasons why you should book your flight through your cruise line
The airfare can be a good deal.
Some high-end cruise lines include flights as a booking perk. Oceania Cruises offers economy airfare with the most inclusive (and expensive) of its three OLife Choice promotion tiers, while Regent Seven Seas Cruises lures travelers with free business-class flights to Europe. It's hard to find a better deal than free, even if you might not have as much control over your booking as you'd like.
Even cruise lines selling you flights claim to have low rates. Royal Caribbean claims that its airfares are so competitive that it will refund you 110% of the difference in onboard credit if you can find a cheaper flight. It makes sense that cruise lines' in-house travel agencies can get access to the lowest rates or bulk fares not available to the general public.
You'll still earn points and miles
Buying a cruise line air package is similar to purchasing flights through a travel agent. You can add your frequent flyer number to the reservation to earn miles and access your elite perks — but watch out for extremely discounted fares that might not qualify. Plus, if you pay with a rewards-earning credit card, you'll also get points or miles for your purchase.
TPG pro tip: Look for credit cards that earn extra points on travel purchases , so your cruise-and-flight purchase can earn you free travel faster. Among our top-rated credit cards for travel are the Chase Sapphire Preferred Card, which gives you 2 Ultimate Rewards points per dollar spent on travel purchases, and the Chase Sapphire Reserve, which offers 3 points per dollar on travel.

The cruise line will assist you with travel disruptions
The cruise line's travel department has the back of all cruisers who purchased flights through them. If your flight is delayed due to weather or a mechanical problem, agents will assist you with rebooking. Should the flight issues lead to you missing your ship, the line will make arrangements to get you to the next port of call.
The same is true if your cruise ends unexpectedly early due to weather, mechanical issues or an illness outbreak. The cruise line's air department will rebook cruise passengers who booked their flights through the cruise line, but independent travelers will be left to fend for themselves.
You can book now and pay later
Are you a planner and book your cruise a year in advance? With airline change fees, you might not want to pay for airfare months in advance, in case your plans change. Some cruise lines' air-cruise packages, such as Carnival Cruise Line 's Fly2Fun Air Program and Holland America 's Flight Ease, allow you to pay for your flights when your final cruise payment is due (typically about 90 days prior to sailing) rather than at the time of booking.

Cruise lines don't charge booking fees
Cruise lines will not charge you service or convenience fees to book your flights through their air departments. You only have to pay the airfare and the applicable airline taxes and fees.
5 reasons not to book your flight through your cruise line
You can't pay with miles.
If you'd love to book your flights with credit card points or airline miles, you'll need to do that through the airline, not the cruise line.
You might also want to watch out if you hope to pay for coach airfare through your cruise line and then upgrade with miles. As cruise lines often negotiate special low rates with the airlines, these fare classes are often ineligible for mileage or elite upgrades.
Cruise lines charge deviation fees for custom itineraries
Some cruise line air bookings come with restrictions around when you can fly. Should you wish to arrive several days early or spend a week in the area after your cruise, perhaps even flying home from a nearby city, you might need to pay the cruise line a deviation fee of a few hundred dollars.
Related: 11 extra charges on cruise ships that will drive you nuts — and what you can do about them
You can't always pick your airline, schedule or flight routing
Many cruise lines now offer choice and flexibility with airline arrangements, letting you pick your airline, travel time and routing. However, some of the cheaper, more restrictive options leave the booking exclusively to the cruise line's air department, allowing you no say in your flight route — unless you pay the aforementioned deviation fee or pay more for a flexible booking option. For example, with Viking , you'd need to upgrade from their base Inclusive Air option to the pricier Viking Air Plus fares in order to choose your specific flights.
Free airfare isn't free
Remember that free airfare perk? It's not actually free. The cruise lines increase the base cruise fare to cover the extra perks. Decline the airfare, and they will reimburse you with an air credit or charge you a cruise-only rate. If you can find fares cheaper than the credit, you'll save money by not booking your flights through your cruise line.
This advice especially applies to travelers flying from smaller airports that aren't among the major ones covered by the free airfare deal. Most cruise line airfare fine print states that passengers flying out of other airports will pay an additional fee. If you can book flights that are cheaper than the fee plus the air credit, you should do that and skip the not-actually-free airfare.
The cruise lines can charge service fees for changes
Cruise lines can add their own fees and surcharges on top of the typical airline charges. Some lines, such as Carnival, charge a flat fee for flight changes, in addition to the fees and fines imposed by airlines. If saving money is the most important consideration, you might want to book independently to avoid any extra surcharges.

Why a cruise with flight?
If you do not want to spend several weeks at sea, the travel options are usually limited from your home port. Destinations in the Far East, the US or a round trip in the Mediterranean seem so unattainable. If you book the flight separately, you may expect some unpleasant surprises: fares can fluctuate greatly and you may have to take the flight on the day of your dream at a particularly low price. Even if a passable flight is found, it can still be late and cause a delay in your arrival at your departure port.
This does not happen to you with our cruise with flight offers: Find your cruise with flight and benefit not only from the low airfare, but also from a smooth journey. The airport transfer takes care of getting you from the airport to the ship in time. Even if you have a delayed or delayed flight, you do not have to worry, as the cruise line will take care of your cruise. Depending on the circumstances, the ship will either wait for you or you will be taken to the nearest port and board.
Fly Cruise Shipping Companies
Many cruise lines offer the practical combination offer, but you will often find it at Oceania Cruises, Regent Seven Seas Cruises and Hapag-Lloyd Cruises . Of course, this also depends on the distance of your desired destination, since not every cruise route is suitable for a combination offer with flight. We are happy to assist you in choosing a suitable trip.

In some cases, booking directly with the cruise line can be best because it eliminates a third party. If there's a problem with your reservation or you need to make a change, you don't have to worry about the booking site and the cruise line pointing fingers at each other.
This may be the best approach if you know which cruise line you want to book and which cities you want to visit. However, you may miss out on promotions offered by third-party sites.
Simple search functions.
No hassles with third parties for problems, changes or cancellations.
Less likely to get scammed by fraudulent sites.
Miss out on deals offered by third-party sites.
Harder to compare prices, benefits and routes from multiple cruise lines.
Comparing cruise prices across websites
Without being able to compare prices, it can be a challenge to determine the best site for booking a cruise. To make it easier to compare, we priced out a 7-night Caribbean cruise for two adults.
We selected the lowest-priced balcony room on Royal Caribbean departing from Miami in August 2023. Here are the results:
Mitigate cancellation policy risks with travel insurance
If you're worried your trip plans being disrupted by bad weather or a change of plans, travel insurance might help. This optional standalone insurance can be purchased separately from your cruise bookings.
But you might not even need to pay out-of-pocket for trip insurance because many credit cards offer travel insurance as a built-in benefit to customers who pay for travel expenses on that card.

Booking a cruise recapped
When looking for the best way to book a cruise, the price is virtually the same on every website. The difference lies in how each seller sweetens the deal.
Several cruise booking sites set themselves apart from the competition by offering additional benefits to encourage booking through them. Additionally, being able to book other parts of your trip — like flight and excursions — on the same site, or offering access to a travel agent, distinguishes some of the best cruise websites.
When prices are the same, we recommend cruise bookers compare the perks being offered, then book on the site with the most appealing bonuses, like onboard credits, airline miles, hotel points or cash back.
If you're searching for cruises on a third-party website, you may question the legitimacy of that site. This is especially true if the site doesn't look professional or some of the information is outdated.
For this reason, you should stick with one of the best cruise booking sites on this list because they've been vetted for legitimacy and have a good track record with travelers.
Yes, last-minute deals can be the best way to book a cruise. If your travel plans are flexible, these deals can save you a lot of money. Keep in mind that you may not be able to book your preferred destination or routing if it is sold out.
Unfortunately, most cruise lines do not offer free cancellations or changes to take advantage of price drops after you book. Passengers can always negotiate with a booking site or cruise line, but they aren't obligated to refund the difference. Instead, they may offer you onboard credit, complimentary excursions or credit toward another cruise booking.

How to book a cruise using points and miles
If you're eager to embark on a cruise and have accumulated points, you might not have to pay for your next trip.
In this guide, we will explore strategies to help you optimize your points and miles to reduce the cost of your cruise vacation. We'll discuss leveraging your existing loyalty programs and the best ways to unlock savings on your cruise fare.
Here are the top ways to use your points and miles for a cruise.
Should you book a cruise with points and miles?
While various options are available for redeeming your points and miles toward a cruise, it is important to note that the value you receive may not always be optimal (i.e., less than TPG's valuations ). In the realm of travel rewards, there are often more lucrative opportunities to leverage your points and miles for flights or hotel stays, where the value and flexibility tend to be higher.
If you have American Express, Capital One, Chase or Citi points, you might be able to get a redemption value of 1 to 1.5 cents per point for cruises. In this case, you'd get $100 or $150 off your cruise fare by redeeming 10,000 points. While this may seem high, it falls short compared to the value some travelers get when redeeming points for luxury hotels or first-class flights.
Some cruise lines have their own credit cards, but a few have formed partnerships with other brands. For example, Marriott Bonvoy members can earn and redeem points on Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection cruises . These partner options are often limited, though, and may require loyalty to a specific travel brand.
You can always use points to reduce travel expenses for any cruise vacation. For example, you can use American Express Membership Rewards points , Bilt Rewards points , Capital One miles , Chase Ultimate Rewards points and Citi ThankYou points to cover costs associated with airfare, hotels or rental cars for your cruise. This often proves to be a better use of your rewards.
However, if you really want to use your accumulated points to reduce your cruise costs, here are various options for booking a cruise with points and miles.
Book a cruise with credit card points
You can use certain credit card points to book a cruise. Typically, you will be required to make the reservation through the portal provided by your credit card issuer, but some require calling a booking center. You may also be able to charge the cruise to your card and then redeem your rewards for a statement credit against some (or all) of that purchase.
Here's how you can book a cruise on points with several major credit card companies.
Amex Travel Pay with Points
If you have an eligible American Express card that earns Membership Rewards points , you can use those points to cover the cost of your cruise through the Pay with Points program . With this program, you can redeem Membership Rewards points at a value of 0.5 to 0.7 cents per point for most travel purchases. However, we value each Membership Rewards point at 2 cents when you maximize the program's transfer partners, so you would be using them at a lower value.
The Amex Travel portal has a user-friendly search feature that allows you to explore different cruises based on specific filters such as date, destination, cruise line and trip duration even before you log in.
To book a cruise using Pay with Points, log in to the travel portal and do the following:
- Select your preferred cruise itinerary and cabin.
- Enter your passenger information.
- When it's time to check out, enter your Membership Rewards-enrolled American Express card information and select "Yes" to determine how many Membership Rewards points your account has.
- You can pay for the entire cruise using Pay with Points or erase a portion of the cost and pay the rest with cash.
Alternatively, you can look up the cruise you want and call 800-297-5627 to book directly with the Amex Travel team over the phone.

Chase Ultimate Rewards
The Chase Ultimate Rewards travel portal is similar to Amex Travel, but the redemption value is higher.
Points from the $95 per year Chase Sapphire Preferred Card are worth 1.25 cents each toward travel booked through Chase, while points from the $550 per year Chase Sapphire Reserve are worth 1.5 cents.
Unfortunately, Chase's booking system doesn't let you book cruises directly through Chase's online Ultimate Rewards portal. You'll have to call the Ultimate Rewards booking hotline and talk to someone in the cruise reservations department instead.
To book a cruise and pay with Chase Ultimate Rewards points:
- Find the cruise itinerary and availability you want directly through the cruise line's website . If you have a specific cabin in mind, have that information handy. Unfortunately, reports indicate that you cannot book Disney Cruise Line sailings with Chase Ultimate Rewards.
- Call a Chase travel specialist directly at 855-234-2542, and be prepared to walk the adviser through the cruise line booking page on their end so they can find and book the cabin and options you want. Cruise advisers are available Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. EST and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST.
- Your cruise adviser will set up the itinerary for you and, upon checkout, will ask you how many points you want to apply against your final balance.
Citi ThankYou Rewards
The Citi ThankYou portal allows cardholders to use their ThankYou points as credit toward a cruise. Some cardholders can redeem points at a value of 1 cent apiece.
Finding your cruise within the Citi ThankYou portal can be frustrating because the search functionality isn't very robust. Travelers can only search for cruises by destination or cruise line, not by available dates.
To book a cruise using Citi ThankYou points:
- Log in to the travel portal by navigating through your Citi account (or directly at thankyou.com) and clicking on "Cruises" on the travel booking page.
- Then, filter by cruise line or destination. (Note that you can't search for cruises by a specific date.)
- Once you've identified the cruise you wish to book, call 800-842-6596 to speak directly with a Citi ThankYou travel specialist, who will allow you to apply Citi ThankYou points toward the final cost at checkout.
You can also use Citi ThankYou points to book a Disney cruise if you desire.
Capital One miles
Capital One offers more flexibility and a more straightforward redemption process than Amex, Chase and Citi. Unless you transfer your miles to an airline or hotel partner , each mile is worth a flat 1 cent toward travel.
Redeeming points doesn't require booking through a portal , thus freeing you up to book your cruise directly with the company or via a travel agent to get extra perks. This option also lets you pursue promotional package rates or discounts that might not be available through the Amex, Chase or Citi portals.
The award redemption process is straightforward: Use the card when paying for your cruise package, then log in to your account and use the "cover your travel purchases" option to apply your mileage balance as a credit toward the total amount you owe on your credit card statement.
You can earn Capital One miles with cards like the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card and the Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card . Each has varying features, so do some research to decide which card is best for you.
Related: Capital One Venture Rewards vs. Capital One Venture X: Worth the extra $300 in annual fees?
Book a cruise with airline miles
You can also book cruises using airline miles. However, like other options, the value of your travel rewards is often underwhelming. The following travel providers offer cruise portals that allow you to redeem rewards:
- American Airlines Cruises
- Delta Cruises
- United Cruises
For example, in the United Cruises portal, this seven-night Disney cruise out of San Juan, Puerto Rico, costs 151,571 United MileagePlus miles per person for an interior cabin — worth $2,198 by TPG's current valuation for United miles.
In contrast, the same room and sailing dates cost just $1,061 per person when paid for with cash — clearly a better value than paying with United miles.
Use cruise cobranded credit card points to book
With cruise line cobranded credit cards , you can earn points for purchases that you can then use to offset the cost of your cruise booking. However, this might not be your best option for earning and redeeming points.
Here, you'll want to be sure you can use your points toward the cruise fare instead of only onboard purchases. For example, the Royal Caribbean Visa Signature® Card offers a welcome bonus of 25,000 MyCruise Rewards points after spending $1,000 or more on purchases within the first 90 days of card membership to use on your next cruise. Your redemption choices vary.
For instance, you can redeem 25,000 points toward your companion's cruise fare on a three- or four-night Royal Caribbean cruise (certain conditions apply, i.e., minimum available ocean-view cabin and may not exceed $500 in value). Or, you can redeem 30,000 points for a $300 discount on a Celebrity Cruises voyage. To learn more about how to redeem MyCruise Rewards points, check out this PDF .
The information for the Royal Caribbean Visa Signature has been collected independently by The Points Guy. The card details on this page have not been reviewed or provided by the card issuer.
Redeem Marriott Bonvoy points
In 2021, Marriott announced that The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection would participate in the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program. Members can redeem points on Ritz-Carlton cruises and enjoy elite status perks on voyages. However, the redemption rates aren't great.
You can redeem a minimum of 180,000 points toward a flat $1,000 savings on the cruise fare. After that, you can redeem increments of 90,000 points toward $500 in savings, up to the entire cruise fare. This redemption rate equates to about 0.56 cents per Marriott point, well below TPG's valuation of 0.84 cents per point.
Related: 17 ways to earn lots of Marriott Bonvoy points
Additionally, Marriott Bonvoy's Cruise with Points program allows you to cash in Marriott points for credit toward any cruise that's bookable on the Cruise with Points website.
You can redeem points in the following denominations, all valued at 0.4 cents per point:
- 63,000 points for $250 off your cruise fare
- 125,000 points for $500 off
- 250,000 points for $1,000 off
- 625,000 points for $2,500 off
- 1,250,000 points for $5,000 off
To redeem Marriott points for a cruise, call 1 800-596-0452.
Use points and miles for pre-cruise hotels and flights
You might make better use of your points and miles by redeeming them for flights to your departure port and for pre- and post-cruise hotel stays instead of for the cruise fare itself. With flights and hotels, you can often get more than 1 or 1.5 cents per point, unlike cruises, which generally provide lackluster redemption rates.
For example, you could transfer your Chase Ultimate Rewards points to United MileagePlus and get 3 cents per mile by booking a flight from San Francisco International Airport (SFO) to Miami International Airport (MIA). If you're an elite member or have a United credit card , you might even have access to special member award pricing .
Or, you could use 12,000 to 18,000 World of Hyatt points or an annual Category 1-4 award from the World of Hyatt Credit Card to pay for a room at the Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport in Florida before heading to Port Canaveral the next day.
By using points on this given one-night stay, you're getting 2.5 cents per point.
Bottom line
It isn't always easy to get great value for your points and miles when you use them toward cruise redemptions — at least, not the way you can for first-class flights. However, redeeming your points for free or discounted cruise travel is possible.
That said, you should steer clear of using airline miles or hotel points for cruises if you want to redeem your rewards for maximum value. Those are better used on flights and overnight stays.
It's a similar story for credit card currencies. Capital One offers the most flexibility of all the major issuers because you can book your cruise directly or through a travel agent . With multiple booking options, you can take advantage of additional perks and access promotional rates from travel agents and online retailers that aren't available through credit card portals. You could even stack those deals for additional savings by booking via an airline portal to earn miles.
Once booked, the Capital One award redemption process is straightforward; simply apply your mileage balance as a credit toward your total credit card statement. Each mile is worth a flat 1 cent toward travel, so you always know the value for comparison purposes.
If you ask me, that's how I'd book a cruise with points and miles to get the best value.

Or you could have booked the entire trip through a travel agency, and they will be there to take care of all the details, at no cost.
Book something after 12 noon you should be fine or stay over & fly home the next day if you have the time
Flights are via AMS so it is all EU to start with. AMS to UK is another story.

This Italian Cruise Line Has European Sailings for Under $300 This Summer — When to Book
Cruises must be booked by April 11.
Courtesy of Costa Cruises
Italian cruise line Costa Cruises wants travelers to live la dolce vita with a spring sale that has sailings to the Mediterranean and northern Europe starting at less than $300.
The sale, which must be booked by April 11, has cruises starting at just $299 per person for double occupancy and is valid on select trips from May to November traveling to Italy, France, Spain, Morocco, and beyond, the cruise line shared with Travel + Leisure . To book, travelers must look for the “Costa’s Spring Sale” icon on the company’s website .
“For travelers ready to plan their next European adventure, our ‘Spring Sale’ offers reduced fares to some of our most desired destinations in the Mediterranean and northern Europe ,” Erik Jamarillo, the head of sales for Costa Cruises North America, said in a statement shared with T+L. “Costa is looking forward to more incredible adventures in these two regions, and we’re inviting travelers to join us to experience Italian-style cruising at an exceptional value.”
Travel on a weeklong cruise from Civitavecchia, just outside Rome, to Marseille, France, Palma de Mallorca, Spain, and more. Or visit Istanbul, Mykonos, and Ibiza on a roundtrip cruise from Athens.
In May, Costa will sail nine to 23-day cruises in northern Europe complete with stops in Greenland, Iceland, Norway, and Scotland. And in July, the company will add week-long cruises to Denmark, Germany, and the Norwegian fjords.
The sale also includes voyages that feature the company’s new “Sea Destinations,” which incorporates the ports the ship visits into onboard programming, like offering a “typical Caprese breakfast” in front of the Faraglioni rocks of Capri before disembarking in Naples, or hosting “a hippy chic party” after visiting Ibiza .
Costa Cruises, which is part of the Carnival Corporation & plc, operates nine ships and sails around the world from the Mediterranean and northern Europe to the Caribbean, South America, and more.
Oceania wants travelers to live on its new luxury cruise ship for 6 months while it sails to 43 countries. A trip starts at $60K — see what it'll be like.
- Oceania announced a 180-day 2026 world cruise from Miami to 101 ports, starting at $59,700 a person.
- The premium cruise brand tapped its new luxury ship, Vista , for the 43-country itinerary.
- Oceania's 2024 world cruise set sail in January after it sold out in 30 minutes.
Oceania Cruises wants you to spend at least $59,700 — and 180 days — living on its newest cruise ship while it sails 360 degrees around the globe.
And if the itinerary's bookings are anything like the company's previous global sailings , this six-month cruise could sell out — fast. Bookings for this cruise officially open on March 13.
The brand's around-the-world itineraries have become wildly hyped over the last few years. In January, its most recent world cruise on the fully booked Insignia departed from Los Angeles on a similar 180-day, 96-port journey.
When reservations opened two years prior, that ship was sold out in 30 minutes. Oceania is a high-end brand of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings.
Looking ahead, Oceania’s 2026 global itinerary is set to be bigger, better, and on a newer ship.
The premium cruise line has frequently picked the 684-guest Insignia as its world cruise vessel of choice.
But this time, it's switching "ship" up: The company has tapped its newest vessel, the 1,200-guest Vista, for its 2026 itinerary. And it won't be a light trial run: The sailing is set to include 101 ports across 43 countries — and the cruise line says tours will hit 81 UNESCO World Heritage sites .
On January 6, 2026, Oceania says the Vista will depart Miami and spend the first six weeks sailing to destinations along the coast of South America.
The ship would then head back north to ports in Mexico, Southern California, and Hawaii before chugging along to South Pacific islands like Bora Bora.
From there, the itinerary includes several ports in Australia.
After these stops, the ship would head north and west, continuing to destinations like Singapore and Mumbai as it sails from Southeast Asia to India.
From the world’s most populous country, the Vista would then journey to Middle East destinations like Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and Muscat, Oman.
After sailing through the Suez Canal, the ship would begin hitting a series of ports throughout the Mediterranean, Europe, and the British Isles.
And following a few stops in Iceland, the Vista would finally begin its journey back to North America.
After pit stops in Halifax, Canada, New York, and Charleston, South Carolina, the half-year journey would finally conclude where it started: in sunny Miami.
Whew, what a journey!
Throughout these six months, travelers would get to live out their “Suite Life on Deck” dreams.
The new 791-foot-long Vista flexes cabins that start at 240 square feet.
Seafaring guests could spend their days at sea luxuriating in the ship's spa and library.
Folks who prefer to occupy their time with more hands-on activities can instead take cooking and art classes.
Oceania says its culinary program and “destination-focused” itineraries are its bread-and-butter.
The latter has already been covered: The 2026 world cruise is set to hit 101 ports, after all.
As for the former, Oceania's Vista could have enough restaurants to satisfy even the pickiest of foodies.
The almost one-year-old ship has 11 dining options, from afternoon tea to dishes created by the ship's godmother, celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis.
Guests could spend their mornings grabbing an espresso at the coffee shop.
And at night (or any time: it's five o'clock "somewhere" when you sail through every time zone, right?), guests can sip on flashy bourbon and rye-based cocktails at the Founders Bar.
Six months at sea isn’t for everyone. But for some travelers, the itinerary’s starting cost of $59,700 per person could be an absolute steal.
Planning a multi-country trip can be complex: Think of all the hotels, flights, and land transportation you'd have to coordinate.
But on a world cruise, these logistics are all planned for you. Oceania's fare also includes first-class roundtrip flights and transfers, internet, and laundry.
The best part?
You'll probably lose fewer pairs of socks on a world cruise versus a do-it-yourself vacation: No need to unpack and repack every few days when you'll be living in the same cabin for the entire vacation.

Is it safe to travel to Haiti right now? What travelers should know
The State Department is urging Americans not to travel to Haiti amid fresh gang violence in the country, which declared a state of emergency last week.
While neither the warnings nor violence are entirely new – Haiti has been a Level 4: Do Not Travel destination in State Department travel advisories since before the 2021 assassination of President Jovenel Moïse – a spate of recent high-profile attacks, including an attempt by armed gangs to seize control of the country’s main international airport, has sparked renewed urgency.
“The current security situation in Haiti is unpredictable and dangerous,” the U.S. Embassy in Haiti said in a security alert issued Sunday. “We are aware that there are few or no commercial options to depart Haiti safely at this time. As they become available, we urge U.S. citizens to take advantage of them. The U.S. Embassy’s ability to assist U.S. citizens is severely limited.”
The U.S. military stepped in to airlift American personnel “into and out of the Embassy” to augment security, U.S. Southern Command said Sunday in a statement to USA TODAY. Meanwhile, U.S. citizens in Haiti can fill out crisis intake forms and enroll in the State Department’s Smart Traveler Enrollment Program program for updates.

Are there direct flights to Haiti?
Three U.S. airlines typically operate direct flights to Haiti: American, JetBlue and Spirit. However, all three have temporarily suspended service and issued travel waivers for the Caribbean destination.
◾ American Airlines customers with flights scheduled to, through, or from Port-au-Prince (PAP) through March 25 may modify flights without paying change fees. Changes must be made by March 25 with the same origin and destination cities as the original booking.
◾ JetBlue Airways is waiving change and cancellation fees for travelers with flights scheduled to and from Port-au-Prince through April 15. Changes can be made through April 30.
◾ Spirit Airlines is waiving change fees and fare differences on travel to, from, or through Cap Haitien (CAP) and Port-au-Prince through April 15. Travelers should rebook by April 30. After that, the airline said change fees would still be waived, but fare differences may apply.
Do cruise ships still go to Haiti?
Royal Caribbean and its sister line Celebrity Cruises normally sail to Labadee, Haiti , a private destination roughly six hours away from Port-au-Prince by car. However Royal Caribbean is skipping several previously scheduled stops, in coming days.
The following sailings will not go to Labadee.
- Adventure of the Seas – 3/15 sailing
- Mariner of the Seas – 3/16 sailing
- Explorer of the Seas – 3/17 sailing
- Oasis of the Seas – 3/17 sailing
- Symphony of the Seas – 3/17 sailing
- Grandeur of the Seas – 3/18 sailing
"The safety and security of our guests, crew, and communities we visit are our top priority," a Royal Caribbean spokesperson said in a statement to USA TODAY. "Our Global Security and Intel Team is closely monitoring the evolving situation in Haiti, and in an abundance of caution, we are temporarily making adjustments to sailings visiting Labadee. We will continue to monitor and reassess calls as needed, and will communicate updates with guests directly."
As recently as Monday, the cruise line had not canceled any sailings to Labadee, but was keeping a close on the situation while noting that it had private security in the area, which was closed to the public.
It doesn’t look like any Celebrity cruises are scheduled there until fall.
