High Trek Adventures: Seattle’s largest ropes course and zipline park
Not sure if your kids are ready?
Things to know before you visit High Trek Adventures & Ziplines
Comfortable, active clothing is recommended for your time in the air. You will be moving around the course in a full-body harness, so I recommend wearing pants or longer shorts and full coverage shirts to ensure your comfort while strapped in. Closed toed shoes are required, and absolutely no slip ons or sandals. Jewelry and loose items are not allowed on the course and they request that long hair be secured in pony-tails, braids or buns.
Kids , ages 4 and up, can explore the Cadet’s Course.
Juniors , ages 7 to 10 years, can bump up their exploration to the Captains Course including ziplines as long as they are accompanied on the course by a responsible adult to assist them with transitions at each platform.
Adults and Young Adults , ages 11 and up, are encouraged to experience the Captain’s Course on their own. Typically this age group is able to reach all belay cables on their own as they navigate and explore the course’s three levels of elements.
How to plan your visit to High Trek Adventures in Everett

High Trek Adventures
Exhilarating ziplines, ropes courses, and laser tag await!
High Trek Adventures , located in the Aviation District of Everett, is an aerial adventure park that boasts a ropes course and three different ziplines to glide down. After a quick training session with the staff (called Ground School), you’ll be harnessed up and ready to start your climb.
Starting out, you’ll only be 15 feet in the air, but as you get comfortable you can graduate to the highest course which is a towering 50 feet above the ground.
The courses have multiple obstacles to overcome, including walking tightropes and swinging platforms. You’ll be rewarded for conquering your fear of heights with a zipline coast to the earth.
In addition to the ropes and zipline courses, High Trek Adventures has a mini golf course and tactical outdoor laser tag .
Here are some things to know about High Trek Adventures if you’re looking to fuel your adrenaline addiction:
Call ahead for reservations
It’s always best to give High Trek Adventures a ring before you head out, especially if you have a group of 10 or more.
Team-building is encouraged
Speaking of large groups, High Trek Adventures is a great way to bring your team together or as a treat for a job well done at the office.
Dress appropriately
Good shoes and athletic wear will make your high-flying adventure more comfortable.
Check the weather
High Trek Adventures is open rain or shine, but in the case of high winds or lightning, the park will close. It’s always a good idea to check the weather before you head out in Seattle NorthCountry.
Age, height and weight restrictions
Kids ages 4 and up can hang on the Cadet’s Course, ages 7-10 can enjoy the Captain’s Course with an adult, and kids 11 and up can explore on their own. There are no height restrictions, but High Trek’s harnesses are rated for anyone 265 pounds and under.

Elevate the Fun at High Trek Adventures
Are your little monkeys (literally) climbing the walls? Need to burn off some serious energy? Consider going vertical at High Trek Adventures, an aerial adventure park with an extensive high ropes course and three zip lines. Nestled in the back of Everett’s Paine Field Community Park, this elevated challenge course is open year-round and offers fun and adventure for all ages and skill levels. If you’re looking to try something new, encourage confidence in your child or foster a sense of adventure, this park is for you. Read on!
Playground in the Sky The massive structure has over 60 aerial elements – color-coded based on difficulty – that you and your crew of monkeys can climb, balance and swing through from heights of 15 to 50 feet. Walk over aerial bridges, traverse giant spider webs or cross tightrope walks as you choose your own adventure.
There are two courses to accommodate different ages and skill levels. The Cadet’s Course spans the entire first level and is full of beginner elements geared towards children ages four and up. It’s also a great option for those who feel nervous climbing at height. The more rigorous Captain’s Course offers beginner, intermediate and advanced elements. The higher you climb, the more challenging the aerial elements become. And at each platform, you can try different elements. The best part? The course design allows climbers to choose a different course every time they visit. Repeat your favorite elements or blaze a new path.
Safety Check High Trek provides every participant with state-of-the-art safety gear. Every climber will be outfitted with a helmet, a pair of gloves, a full body harness and a set of smart belay personal safety tethers used to keep you connected to the built-in steel cable lifelines on the course at all times. And no experience with this type of gear is necessary since all adventurers attend Ground School, taught by High Trek staff, before taking on the course. This course orientation will teach you everything you need to know, including how to fit your gear, how to use the belay safety tethers and how to use the zip line.
Age and Weight Restrictions High Trek maintains age and weight restrictions to ensure safety for all participants. Here are some things to keep in mind:
Children under 14 are required to have parent/guardian supervision on the premises during their visit.
Ages 4 and up can explore the Cadet’s Course.
Ages 7 to 10 can explore the Captain’s Course if accompanied by a responsible adult to help with transitions.
Ages 11 and up are encouraged to experience the Captain’s Course on their own. Psst…typically, this age group is able to reach all belay cables on their own.
The maximum weight for all participants on all courses and zip lines is 265 pounds.
Need to Know: The 5 Ws Waiver : All participants – youth and adults – must have a completed waiver. Save time and complete it online before your arrival or sign one on-site.
Weather : The park is 100 percent outdoors and open year-round, rain or shine. Consider the elements before visiting and pack a raincoat or jacket in case of inclement weather.
What to Wear : Comfortable clothing is a must. Keep in mind that you’ll be wearing a full-body harness. During the warmer months, skip the shorts and wear light-weight pants. If you’re climbing during the colder season, wear warm layers. Closed toes shoes are mandatory on the course. Choose shoes with sturdy soles and traction. Empty pockets are also required. And nothing goes in the air that could potentially fall to the ground. High Trek has secure cubbies to house personal items.
Water : Hydrate! You’re moving around and burning energy, so proper hydration and nutrition is a must. High Trek sells bottled water, soda and other drinks. If you’re hungry, they also offer a selection of energy bars, chips, candy and other snacks to fuel your adventure.
Where to Watch : Spectators can watch aerial adventurers trek through the course by strolling around the grounds. The park is open to the public and free for onlookers. There is also a versatile covered area that provides shade in the summer and shelter during rainy, cool months. Leashed pets are allowed on the grounds.
Reservations and Pricing Reservations are highly recommended, but not required. Note: there is limited capacity and booking a reservation online will guarantee your access to the course. Plan to arrive about 15 minutes before your scheduled time, so you can check-in and get ready to go.
A Captain’s Course or Cadet’s Course ticket is good for up to two hours of fun in the air. Feel free to take breaks and attack the course again and again. If you need more time on the course, one-hour extensions are available at discounted rates.

High Trek Axe
Open for reservations & walk-ins , 8 x outdoor axe throwing lanes now open, get in on the axe-tion.
Looking for what do to in the Seattle, Washington area? Join us for axe throwing! We are located at Paine Field Park in the High Trek Adventures outdoor fun center. Whether you want to channel your inner lumberjack or try out a fun and competitive hobby, axe throwing is a unique sport that’s taking North America by storm. Axe throwing is easy to learn (it’s kinda like throwing darts, but with axes!), and everything is designed with your safety and fun in mind. It’s a perfect way to celebrate a special occasion, organize a team building event, or simply have a great time with friends and family! We have instructors on staff to teach you and facilitate your experience the entire time you’re here. Watch out — guys and girls alike, once you stick your first throw, you’ll be hooked! Walk-ins are always welcome, but to ensure you have a spot upon arrival, we highly recommend booking ahead online. Remember, there is nothing quite like socializing and throwing axes with friends!
About our Outdoor Lanes
Our lanes are totally enclosed and all have lane dividers to protect other throwers who may be retrieving their axe. Our lanes also now have roofs which cover the lane and thrower, but spectators have minimal amount of cover from the elements. We use 14" hatchets that will be supplied by High Trek. We have lots of room and around the lanes for spectators to observe and provide encouragement to the throwers.
Indoor Laser Tag Arena and Axe Throwing Now Open
We now have a new location providing an indoor laser tag option, located only 3 miles from the Outdoor location. The indoor laser tag arena is located across the street from the Everett Mall and the location has many other activities for you to try out as well like our 6-Player VR Arena.
