How to get tickets for Beyoncé’s 2023 Renaissance UK tour

It’s finally happening, folks

Huw Oliver

Calling all members of the Bey Hive: the time has finally come. Beyoncé has announced that she will be touring her latest album, ‘Renaissance’, released in July last year. Much to our delight, the superstar confirmed the live dates were happening at the Wearable Art Gala in California on October 22, and now the European and North American legs of the Renaissance World Tour have been announced.

There is a huge amount of hype around Bey returning to British shores, and people are already calling for the star to add more dates to her tour to satisfy demand.  There’s been a serious scramble for tickets so far, with many fans complaining on Twitter that they were kicked out before reaching the front of the presale queue.

We expect that when the general tickets finally drop for ‘Renaissance’ in the UK they will sell out mega fast, so make sure to keep an eye out and plan ahead. H ere’s everything you need to know about Beyoncé’s 2023 UK shows.

When do Beyoncé’s Renaissance tour tickets go on sale?

The BeyHive presale will go live on Monday February 6 from 9am to 6pm, while g eneral public sale will start at 10am on Tuesday February 7 .

To be a member of the official BeyHive, you must already be signed up to Beyonce’s mailing list through her website. Unfortunately, registration has closed, so if you’re not already a member, you’ll have to wait for the general sale.

Who will support Beyoncé on her tour?

Now that the tour has been announced, there has been a lot of speculation around who Bey will be choosing to follow her around the world to open the show for her.

There have been rumours that Beyoncé has been considering British girl group Flo, who will receive the Rising Star Award at the 2023 Brit Awards. Other potential openers who will join Bey on stage are the Nigerian singer Tems, as well as English singer and rapper Bree Runway.

When did Beyonce last tour in the UK?

Beyoncé’s last tour in the UK was back in 2018 with her husband Jay-Z for her show ‘On The Run II’. The couple performed a total of six acts that included a mix of both of the stars’ songs such as ‘Crazy in Love’, ‘99 Problems’ and ‘Run the World (Girls)’.

They started the tour in Cardiff, Glasgow, Manchester and London before moving onto the rest of Europe and finishing the tour back in the USA.

Before that, Bey toured the UK in 2016 with The Formation World Tour in support of her album ‘Lemonade’.

Paul McCartney, Ariana Grande, Kelly Rowland, JAY-Z and More Watch Beyoncé Perform in London

A-list members of the Beyhive enjoyed the latest leg of the singer's Renaissance World Tour

Beyoncé has some serious A-list members in the Beyhive!

Celebrities including Sir Paul McCartney , Ariana Grande , Kelly Rowland , Priyanka Chopra-Jonas , and Sacha Baron Cohen watched as Queen Bey, 41, took to the stage at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in North London for the latest leg of her Renaissance World Tour on Sunday.

McCartney, 80, was joined by his wife Nancy Shevell, 63, at the soccer stadium and was spotted chatting to Beyoncé’s husband JAY-Z in the crowd.

The legendary Beatles musician appeared to be in good spirits as he held a glass of champagne and made his way through the crowd. McCartney also stood near to Beyoncé’s Destiny’s Child bandmate Rowland to watch the "Drunk in Love" singer perform.

UnBoxPHD / SplashNews.com

Rowland, 42, was all smiles as she supported her friend and rocked a pair of black sunglasses and a matching black beanie.

Also sporting a black beanie was JAY-Z, 53, who made time to chat with an animated Baron Cohen. The Borat actor, meanwhile, had opted for a beige hat, black-rimmed glasses and a patterned white shirt for the night out.

His wife, Isla Fisher, joined him at the concert. She was seated near Rowland, according to pictures captured by photographers.

Two other celebrity members of the Beyhive — Grande, 29, and actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas , 40 — documented their evening watching the singer on social media.

Grande shared a snapshot from the night in an Instagram Story, while Chopra Jonas praised Beyoncé and JAY-Z for their “incredible hospitality” as she posted a series of photos to her Instagram Stories from her spot in the crowd.

"'I dream it, I work hard. I grind 'til I own it, I twirl on them haters' — Beyoncé," her Instagram carousel began. “Damn! What a woman and what a night. With my main girls❤️ @tam2cul @drmadhuakhourichopra. So glad you could finally see it @neeshnation ❤️."

Going on to also praise the couple’s 11-year-old daughter Blue Ivy — who has been performing with Beyoncé on tour — the Citadel star continued, “Blue Ivy was amazing 🤩. Dancers were 🔥 😘. Thank you #JayZ and Queen @beyonce for the incredible hospitality. Thank you @nickjonas for the most memorable night! Love you baby #renaissanceworldtour.”

Chopra Jonas wasn't the only person impressed with Blue Ivy. On Monday, her grandmother, Tina Knowles , 69, shared an Instagram Reel of the pre-teen dancing on stage with Beyonce the previous night, captioned: "This is hilarious! Blue killing it again with a wardrobe change."

Blue Ivy first appeared on the Renaissance World Tour with her mom last month, the 11-year-old displaying her impressive dance moves at concert dates in both the U.K. and Europe.

On May 29, Blue Ivy delighted fans with her first London appearance, just hours after Beyoncé praised her eldest daughter in an emotional Instagram tribute.

“My beautiful first born 🙏🏾 I’m so proud and thankful to be your mama,” the “Break My Soul” singer wrote alongside a photo and two videos from Blue Ivy’s appearance at her Paris show. “You bring us so much joy, my sweet angel.”

The post included a picture of Blue Ivy on stage — the pre-teen wearing silver sunglasses, a sparkly turtleneck and baggy silver pants, just like her mother. Beyoncé also included videos of Blue Ivy flawlessly executing the dance moves alongside her backup dancers.

Blue Ivy had surprised crowds in Paris on May 26 with an unexpected cameo on stage dancing alongside her mom.

She appeared on stage after Beyoncé had begun singing “My Power,” from her 2019 The Lion King companion album, The Gift , and impressed the audience as she led the dancers in the song’s dance breakdown once more. She later danced with her mother’s crew during a rendition of Kendrick Lamar’s “Alright."

Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour marks her first world tour since 2018’s On the Run II Tour, which was co-led by her and JAY-Z. This tour, in support of her 2022 album Renaissance , marks her first solo concert outing in seven years.

Beyoncé unveiled the concert film for her record-breaking Renaissance tour in London tonight (Thursday 30 November), with Taylor Swift among the high-profile guests.

The Lemonade artist turned up to support Swift’s own concert film for her Eras tour when it premiered in Hollywood in October. Swift later paid moving tribute to Beyoncé, praising her as a “guiding light” who had taught her to “break rules and defy industry norms”.

Renaissance, A Film by Beyoncé will chart the huge undertaking of the US artist’s tour supporting her Grammy-winning 2022 album, Renaissance . Produced, written and directed by the singer, it will intersperse footage of concerts taking place around the world with backstage scenes and intimate moments between Beyoncé and her family.

Around 2.7 million concertgoers are estimated to have attended the Renaissance tour over the course of five months, while Billboard reports that the shows have grossed close to half a billion dollars worldwide.

The film’s description reads: “It is about Beyoncé’s intention, hard work, involvement in every aspect of the production, her creative mind and purpose to create her legacy, and master her craft.”

Why Beyoncé is worth your money

No one needs a reminder of how times, for many, are tough. Lots of people don’t have the luxury to spend a significant chunk of money on going to concerts – and it’s a shame for music lovers hoping to catch their favourite artist.

But! If you do find that there’s room in the budget for a good gig, I humbly suggest trying to get a ticket to a Beyoncé show – because you will go away feeling the value of every penny.

Read Nicole Vassell’s justification for investing in an experience like a Bey show... and soon, you can get a piece of the action from the cinema:

Paying up to £199 to see Beyoncé live? I can vouch for the spectacle that awaits you

The singer has announced five UK dates on her world tour, with the ticket prices raising eyebrows. But ignore the £2,400 on-stage seats, says Nicole Vassell, some superstars deliver every time

Did Beyoncé do a last-minute outfit change?

According to her Instagram post shared hours before the premiere, she appeared to be wearing a floor-length gold dress and matching silver elbow-high gloves.

In one of the photos, she was seated beside Jay-Z in a screening room, holding a bucket of popcorn and a soda.

However, in photos of her at the actual Renaissance premiere, she wore a sparkly black dress with bleach-blonde hair.

Taylor swift stuns at beyoncé’s renaissance film premiere in london.

Swift has shown up in solidarity for fellow pop star Beyonce’s Renaissance film premiere in London.

The “Cruel Summer” singer reportedly boarded her private jet in Kansas City on Wednesday 29 November evening and landed at London’s Stansted Airport hours before the global premiere.

Swift donned a sparkling silver Balmain gown, a reference to the dress code the “Cuff It” singer requested fans follow if they were attending her concerts during Virgo season, in honour of her zodiac sign.

‘Anti-Hero’ singer showed up to support Beyoncé’ for her London film premiere

According to The Independent ’s music correspondent Roisin O’Connor, who was in attendance, guests were given champagne, salted popcorn and Smarties to munch on. All attendees were required to lock up their phones before they entered the screening room.

Round-up of the biggest stars in attendance at tonight’s premiere

For those who are just tuning into the blog, here’s a quick rundown of all the biggest stars (that we know of) that showed up in support of Beyoncé and her Renaissance Tour film.

Undoubtedly, the biggest celebrity to make a splash with her attendance was Taylor Swift. The “Anti-Hero” singer reciprocated the same support Queen Bey showed at her October Eras Tour premiere.

Rapper will.i.am, actor Blake Lively, British presenter AJ Odudu, Destiny Child member Michelle Williams, Blue Ivy, singer Sia, and British socialite and model Emma Thynn were also present.

A majority of the guests wore silver in honour of the tour’s theme: Afrofuturist disco fantasia.

Beyoncé addresses attendees ahead of screening

Ahead of the screening of her Renaissance Tour film, which was delayed by 45 minutes, Beyoncé addressed attendees thanking them for coming.

“Thank you for coming, thank you for dressing up,” the “Cuff It” singer said, adding that she was proud that the film was coming out on World Aid’s Day (1 December).

Beyoncé’s late uncle Johnny – whom she said she was raised by in a 2006 interview – died of Aids in the early 2000s.

She concluded her speech by telling the audience: “Feel free to dance, sing, cry... thank you.”

How Blue Ivy responded to criticisms of her dancing on tour

Of course, Beyoncé was the star of the Renaissance tour – but if there’s anyone who could’ve taken her shine, it’s her 11-year-old daughter Blue.

Blue popped up at several of her mother’s shows, performing some of the dance routine to Beyoncé’s Black is King track, “My Power”.

In the film, Beyoncé discusses how Blue responded when critics were harsh about her dancing skills on some of the earlier dates on the tour... and apparently, she used the criticisms as fuel to get better.

The New York Times reported that after the concert, Beyoncé was apparently “dismayed” to discover that Blue Ivy had read negative social media comments about her supposed “lacklustre” moves.

However, she was thrilled when her daughter decided to “put in the work” to improve.

Beyoncé ‘Renaissance’: What the fans wore to London’s opening show

Photographs by Toby Hancock, CNN Story by Leah Dolan, CNN May 30, 2023

Beyoncé has officially landed in London. Last night, the British capital welcomed the pop superstar for the much anticipated “Renaissance” world tour.

We expected an Afrofuturist disco-fueled fantasy, and on the first night of her weeklong residency at north London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (one of the city’s largest stadiums with a capacity of over 60,000) fans showed out in mirror ball cowboy hats, crystal-encrusted corsets and space-age catsuits.

Since its release in 2022, the quadruple Grammy award-winning record has had far-reaching cultural impact, including in fashion. With revered album art that saw Beyoncé in Schiaparelli couture, Alaïa, Mugler and Gucci, as well as her headline- generating stage costumes from the likes of Loewe and Balmain, it’s no wonder fans are taking their concert looks seriously.

  • Monday, May 29

Beyoncé Has Announced London Dates For Her ‘Renaissance’ World Tour

Beyoncé is hitting London in May this year in support of her latest album 'Renaissance' - catch her waltzing into the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for two nights.

Jack Saddler

Get ready to have your souls broken: Beyoncé is coming back into town. In support of last year’s critically-acclaimed album Renaissance , the superstar is heading back out on the road for a world tour, with two nights in London coming up.

Kicking off in May is the European leg of Beyoncé’s tour – after nights in Cardiff and Edinburgh, she will hit London for two nights at the 62,000 capacity stadium of Tottenham Hotspur football club on May 29-30 .

View this post on Instagram A post shared by Beyoncé (@beyonce)

Taking to Instagram to announce the news, Beyoncé released a post that simply read: “RENAISSCANCE WORLD TOUR 2023,” with a suitably iconic photo of the artist atop of a silver horse; much like the recent album cover. Her website gives a full list of tour dates. Tickets for UK shows can be purchased here , with the main sale commencing on February 7 (though a number of pre-sales from O2, BeyHive, and Live Nation are taking place before this date).

The Renaissance tour marks Beyoncé’s first major outings since her co-headline On The Run II set of dates with husband Jay-Z, which saw the two artists play a duo of nights at the London Stadium. Beyoncé’s last solo UK tour dates back to 2016, when London was treated to two nights at Wembley Stadium in support of her album Lemonade . Last month, the singer did perform her first concert in four years in Dubai, but no material from Renaissance was performed.

Renaissance was released on July 29, 2022 ; and marked Beyoncé’s fourth UK number one album. Following its release, Beyoncé was nominated for a 2023 BRIT Award for Best International Artist . She is also nominated for nine Grammy awards including Record of the Year and Song of the Year .

Ticket Alert: Beyoncé's Renaissance Tour Film Is Coming To London

Laura Reynolds

Tickets for UK screenings of Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé are on sale now.

The movie is a documentary concert film of Beyoncé's extremely popular Renaissance World Tour, which ran from May to October this year, including a stint at London's own Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in June. It's also rumoured to feature the creation of the Renaissance album, which she released in 2022, though the trailer doesn't give much away:

Odeon , Vue , and Cineworld are among the large UK chains showing the 170-minute long film, though do check your local independent cinema too. Oh, and don't clear your weekend schedule yet — although tickets are already on sale, the film won't be released to cinemas anywhere in the world until 1 December. The world premiere will be held here in London on 30 November, following the US premiere in LA on 25 November.

It follows in the high heels of Taylor Swift's Eras Tour Movie, which was released in UK cinemas in October — though Swifties have to wait until next summer for that tour to make it to London IRL.

Beyoncé Is Launching A Renaissance Pop-Up In London Next Week

By Laura Hawkins

STOCKHOLM SWEDEN MAY 10 Beyoncé performs onstage during the opening night of the “RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR†at...

For BeyHive members who were unable to secure tickets to Beyoncé’s Renaissance world tour , and her historic five-night residency at London’s Tottenham Hotspur stadium, we bring a silver lining to your sadness. Because the team at Flannels have got in “Formation” to bring you a complete in-store takeover by Queen Bey herself inside the luxury retailer’s flagship store in the capital.

The “Renaissance flagship” – which from Tuesday 30 May 2023 will be situated in Flannels X, the retailer’s experiential cultural hub – brings you everything you need to soak in the Beyoncé excitement. Even its exterior facade will transform into a 360-degree digital display that delves into the visual and auditory splendour of the Renaissance era.

In the market for tour merch? No fear. As the luxury retail partner for the Renaissance World Tour collection, Flannels brings you a 19-piece memorabilia offering, sold for the first time outside of stadium venues, including exclusive “London Has a Problem” and “Cuff It” tees.

Beyonc Is Launching A Flagship PopUp In London Next Week

Obsessed with Beyoncé and Olivier Rousteing of Balmain’s co-designed Renaissance Couture collection? Flannels has you covered. The Renaissance flagship is also playing host to an exhibition of 12 looks, complete with “Renaissance: Beyoncé with Balmain”, an offering of available-to-buy pieces that includes an oversized tee, dropped-shoulder hoodie and giant tote.

“As a woman in business, as a mother, and as a fan, I think everything about Beyoncé feels like a lesson in modern feminism. In power , really, in not being underestimated, and in constant evolution. She’s the most important musician of a generation,” says Beckie Stanion, CMO at Flannels. “I think at Flannels we harness quite a unique tone of voice; certainly amongst our peers in luxury retail. We like to be unafraid – unafraid to celebrate the kind of game-changing talent and success that we know inspires our young audience. Beyoncé is, needless to say, the untouchable queen of those ideals. To be able to celebrate her on this kind of scale is truly an honour.”

If the Renaissance flagship is now “All Up In Your Mind”, you’ve got until 5 June to ensure it’s your headline shopping act.

Every Look From Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour, From Custom Catsuits to Disco-Inspired Couture

Beyonce performs wearing Balenciaga

Beyoncé’s Renaissance tour began with a bang in Stockholm and it hasn't slowed down since. The highly-anticipated show has featured inventive set design, a decades-spanning setlist, and a plethora of standout style moments—from to archival pieces to custom looks and nearly everything in between. The star’s wardrobe has combined her signature style with the visual ethos of the album Renaissance ( think lots of sequins, silver, catsuits, and the occasional bee-inspired look). Beyoncé has also been wearing looks from brands specific to the city she’s performing in—for the UK leg of her tour she wore picks from the London-based Mary Katrantzou and Robert Wun while in Marseille, France she opted for a look by designer Simon Porte Jacquemus.

The singer has donned looks from both established brands—Valentino, Mugler, lots of Alexander McQueen, among others—as well as smaller labels like Anrealage and Brandon Blackwood. Balmain catsuits and mini dresses have been a constant throughout her tour wardrobe (in March, she partnered with creative director Olivier Rousteing to design a Renaissance couture line for the brand ) as well as imaginative pieces from Loewe. London-based brand Feben outfitted Beyoncé in a color-blocked catsuit. “Thank you for inviting me into your world,” the designer wrote on Instagram . “What an incredible moment to be a part of, and a pivotal one for myself, and my inner child. While Beyoncé has, seemingly, unlimited access to a never-ending roster of designers, she went with her own label Ivy Park for this pink look in Amsterdam—and rightly so. Designed by the star herself, the piece featured daring slits, opera-style gloves, and a halter neckline.

“I started designing this collection over a year ago,” she said on Instagram . “I was so engulfed in all things Renaissance and was inspired by Studio 54, Bob Mackie, and the disco era.”

Beyoncé wears a custom Jacquemus look during her concert in Marseille, France.

French designer Simon Porte Jacquemus is from Marseille, France so it’s fitting that he outfitted the singer for her tour stop there. Jacquemus, who attended the concert, designed a form-ftting mini dress, boots, and gloves that featured disco ball-esque paillettes.

“[Beyoncé] is the first singer I saw live in Marseille 15 years ago,” he wrote on Instagram . “I’m so happy and proud. What a night in Provence, means a lot.”

Beyoncé wears a custom Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood look in London.

Beyoncé again went with another British label for her third London show, this time a custom Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood look. The mini latex dress features corset-style detailing and sheer spiral sleeves.

Here's where you can watch Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé since it's not on Netflix

B esides Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour, Beyoncé's The Renaissance World Tour was arguably the only other big concert tour in 2023. In October 2023, we saw Taylor's concert film documenting the tour hit theaters, and now it's Beyoncé's turn with her documentary concert film Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé .

The Renaissance World Tour opened in Stockholm, Sweden back in May 2023 and ended its run in Kansas City, Missouri, in October 2023. If you didn't get the chance to see Queen Bey perform live during the tour, now you have the perfect opportunity to see the concert on the big screen.

As of Dec. 1, you can head over to a movie theater near you to see the film. It takes fans behind the scenes of the record-breaking stadium tour and discusses the creative process of putting it together. Grammy Award-winning rapper Jay-Z who is also Beyoncé's husband, appears in the film along with their three kids, Blue Ivy, Rumi, and Sir. You can also expect to see musical artists Diana Ross, Megan Thee Stallion, and Kendrick Lamar make appearances.

To find screenings near you and purchase tickets, you can do so through the websites BeyonceFilm.com , amctheatres.com, and Fandango.com . Tickets are also available to purchase on websites like Cinemark and Regal.

Unfortunately, there's no word yet on if Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé will ever be available to stream on a streaming service. So, no, the concert film will not be coming to Netflix anytime soon. But what we do know is that the movie is expected to have a theatrical run of at least four weeks. If the film does receive a streaming release, we'll probably find out closer to the end of its theatrical run or right when it's over.

There's also a high chance that it'll eventually be available to rent or purchase digitally, but nothing has been confirmed yet. If there is to be a digital release, it'll likely be through services such as Apple TV, Vudu, Amazon Prime Video, Google Play, etc. We'll let you know if this happens.

But for now, the only way you can watch Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé  is by heading to the theater.
