seats were good, crowd was into it. Eric played well to the audience and we all stayed engages!

This was a pure joy. The venue and performance ended 2023 with a bang. Eric is a great performer, and then Ludlow garage is an excellent venue. Enjoyed it.

Eric always puts on a fabulous show. He gives it his all wonderful venue also I will be back.

Fantastic time!

This was our first time at Ludlow Garage and I can’t believe we’ve been missing out. We had seen Eric Darius before but this venue was so perfect for acoustics and intimacy. The staff was so friendly and the seats were comfortable and adequate. We were blown away and had such a good time. We’ve already purchased tickets for an event in February and can’t wait.

Wow, what energy this guy has on stage!! He is awesome. I enjoyed him playing to the crowd and up in the crowd. This was my third time seeing him and each time gets better and better. I will see him again sometime soon.

Darius Delivers

Eric Darius always leaves his audience dancing in the aisles. He brings all he has to every performance. The energy level is off the charts! My husband and I have seen him everywhere from Cancun to our hometown Syracuse and he never disappoints. Always a thrill!

Eric is building bridges, forging new paths and ensuring that his heartfelt, organic and honest approach to the music will stand the test of time.

International jazz recording artist, Eric Darius, who is currently touring the country to promote his latest album “Retro Forward” is also visiting schools in those cities in order to promote the importance of music education and inspire the youth to express themselves through music and follow their dreams.

Darius attributes his successes in his career to the opportunities he had in school and feels that music is a vital part of every child’s education. Now he wants to pay it forward. He officially kicked off his “On A Mission in the Schools” national campaign several years ago in his hometown, Tampa, and now he’s partnering with schools and colleges nationwide and scheduling appearances in conjunction with his album tour.

His show is like a block party and you can't help but have a great time.He delivers on musicianship. He is an absolute joy to watch. If you ever have a chance to see him, GO! You will not be disappointed.

Eric Darius NEVER disappoints!!! He is a dynamic and very talented musician and really knows how to engage his audience. His shows offer a variety of styles, leaving everyone musically satisfied. He is a define must-see for me, whenever he's in my neck of the woods!!

Experience the enchantment of jazz like never before with Mann’s Jazz Under The Stars series! Taking place in our hilltop Crescendo tent with views of the Philadelphia skyline, the series highlights contemporary jazz artists, a beloved subgenre for enthusiasts and the perfect introduction for newcomers. The series is curated by the Mann’s first ever Jazz Curator-In-Residence, Gerald Veasley. Join us on August 3, for an unforgettable evening with the masterful acoustic jazz guitarist Peter White and again on August 31 for an explosive performance by the dynamic saxophonist Eric Darius.

About Eric Darius With his crowd-captivating energy throughout his world-renowned live performances, Billboard chart-topping, American saxophonist, songwriter, producer, and performer, Eric Darius, is breaking the mold of modern Jazz. He fearlessly pushes all musical boundaries while innovatively fusing jazz with elements of R&B, hip-hop, funk, pop, and much more.

About Gerald Veasley Gerald Veasley’s musical odyssey has taken him to the top of the contemporary music world as a bassist, bandleader, composer, producer, educator, and curator. His performance as a six-string bassist has been top shelf, as his extensive body of work attests. Veasley has recorded or performed with many of the world’s top artists in Jazz, R&B and Gospel including Grover Washington Jr., Joe Zawinul, Kirk Whalum, Will Downing, Chuck Loeb, Maysa, Nnenna Freelon, Special EFX, Pieces of a Dream, McCoy Tyner, and more. Gerald Veasley is also the curator of the Unscripted Jazz Series at SOUTH Jazz Club and the Artistic Director and Co-Founder of Gerald Veasley’s Bass BootCamp. Veasley also serves his community as President of the non-profit organization, Jazz Philadelphia. His life as a creative professional is clearly multifaceted. Indeed, he wears various “hats” yet he is motivated by a singular purpose – to translate his joy of music to the world – music without boundaries.
