let tour schedule 2024

The Ladies European Tour announced this Friday the schedule for the upcoming season, another record year with 31 tournaments in 20 countries around the world.

Among the most highlighted events will be, of course, the 2024 Paris Olympic Games , the Solheim Cup in Gainesville, Virginia, and the AIG Women’s Open at St Andrews , which will be the last qualifying week for the European team of the Solheim Cup .

“The 2024 schedule will offer our golfers a platform to showcase their best,” said LET CEO, Alexandra Armas . “Our tournaments will showcase star-studded fields and entertainment in 20 different countries and there will be significant global opportunities for our players to transcend the traditional golf audience. It’s an exciting time with the arrival of Olympic golf to Europe and another exciting Solheim Cup on the horizon. We look forward to sharing the journey with our fans around the world.”

Next year there will be more than 34 million euros in prizes, including a five million dollar purse at the Aramco Saudi Ladies International Presented by PIF , which will be played for the first time at the Riyadh Golf Club .

The season will kick off again with the Magical Kenya Ladies Open in February, before travelling to Saudi Arabia and visiting Morocco for the Lalla Meryem Cup .

In March, the LET will travel to the United States to compete in the Aramco Team Series Presented by PIF – USA. Later in March, the prestigious Magenta Shores Golf and Country Club will host the New South Wales Open for the first time, followed by the Australian Women’s Classic at Bonville Golf Resort as part of a fortnight in Australia.

In April, the Tour will travel to South Africa to compete in the Joburg Ladies Open and the Investec South African Women’s Open , which will be played at a new venue, the Erinvale Country and Golf Estate , in Cape Town.

In May, the Aramco Team Series Presented by PIF – Seoul will be contested in the Republic of Korea , followed by the Amundi German Masters , the first tournament of the year in Europe.

The Jabra Ladies Open will be played again at the renowned Evian Resort Golf Club, in France.

In June, the LET will enjoy a fortnight in Sweden with the Dormy Open Helsingborg , which will be played at the Allerum Golf Club for the second consecutive year, and the Volvo Car Scandinavian Mixed , which will move to the nearby Vasatorps Golf Club .

Next, the LET will play another event in Europe that will be announced soon, followed by the Tipsport Czech Ladies Open , the VP Bank Swiss Ladies Open and the Aramco Team Series Presented by PIF – London.

The Amundi Evian Championship at the Evian Resort Golf Club in France, where compatriot Céline Boutier lifted her first Major in 2023, returns in July, followed by the Dutch Ladies Open , powered by Golf.NL.

LET players will have the opportunity to compete for their home countries at the 2024 Paris Summer Olympic Games at Le Golf National in August through the Olympic Golf Ranking.

The Tour continues to Scotland, the birthplace of golf, for the Women’s Scottish Open and the AIG Women’s Open , which will be played at the famous Old Course at St Andrews for the third time.

Next, the O’Meara course at Carton House will be the new venue for the KPMG Women’s Irish Open .

In September, a year after the dramatic showdown between the United States and Europe in Spain, the Solheim Cup will return to the United States, at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Gainesville (Virginia), where Europe will try to keep the trophy in European hands for the fourth consecutive time.

Afterwards, the LET returns to Golf Barrière Deauville for the Lacoste Ladies Open de France , followed by the Aramco Team Series Presented by PIF – Asia. Next, the Hero Women’s Indian Open and the Aramco Team Series Presented by PIF – Riyadh.

The season concludes with a fortnight in Spain, starting at the Mallorca Ladies Golf Open before wrapping up the year at the Andalucía Costa del Sol Open de España for the fifth consecutive year.

In total, 25 events will be televised, either through highlight packages or with a full live global broadcast in 2024.

2024 LET Access Series schedule announced

let tour schedule 2024

This year seven LET cards are up for grabs for the 2025 season, plus 25 spots for final stage of LET Q-School. Here's all you need to know about the 2024 LET Access schedule

The LET Access Series (LETAS) is set for another fantastic year in 2024 with a minimum of 14 events across 6 European countries.

Once again, Europe will play host to all the tournaments across the calendar year which will take place between April and October with Sweden hosting four tournaments in total in the 2024 season.

France is set to hold three tournaments with England hosting two while there will also be the annual visits to the Czech Republic and Denmark during the year.

The season is due to get underway at the prestigious Golf de Terre Blanche, back for its 12 th edition before rounding out at the Calatayud Ladies Open at Gambito Golf Calatayud.

Seven LET cards available

At the end of the season, seven players on the LETAS Order of Merit will earn membership to the LET for 2025, last year it was six, while players finishing in eighth to 32 nd  positions will be exempt into the final stage of LET Q-School, an increase of 10 spots.

The number of LET cards rewarded has increased from previous years and reflects the strength and depth of players on LETAS.

So far, a total of three events have announced elevated purses for next year, including the Terre Blanche Ladies Open, the Santander Golf Tour and the Lavaux Ladies Open, an event we are pleased to welcome back.

New event for 2024

A new event hosted at The Club at Mill Green, the Get Golfing Women's Golf Open is offering one of the largest individual prize funds in the tour’s history of €80,000.

With a few tournaments still waiting to confirm their prize funds, including the Rose Ladies Open, the tour’s current total prize money of €600,000 is very likely to increase.

Last season Denmark’s Sofie Kibsgaard Nielsen was crowned LETAS Order of Merit winner and Rookie of the Year after winning three times in her maiden season as a professional and securing status on the LET for 2024.

Five other players clinched LET cards for 2024 alongside Kibsgaard Nielsen including Swiss players, Elena Moosmann, and Chiara Tamburlini, as well as three English players, Emily Price, Hannah Screen and Gemma Clews.

Providing greater competitive opportunities

Speaking about the announcement Alexandra Armas, LET CEO, said:

“We are extremely proud to be able to announce the schedule for the 2024 LET Access Series. It looks set to be a fantastic year and it also shows the commitment there is to provide greater competitive opportunities to players which in turn gives them the potential to progress to the Ladies European Tour.

“The LET is dedicated to supporting our members and growing the game of golf to new and existing markets and we are excited to confirm the release of this schedule in what will be another great year.”

Ana Larraneta, LETAS Tour Director, added:

“We’re delighted to announce the schedule for the 2024 LETAS season. To be able to continue to provide a full schedule with increasing prize funds year on year is amazing for LETAS members. I would like to thank the federations, our sponsors and partners who are committed to growing the women’s game, for their continued support and we’re excited for the year ahead.”

About Lalla Aicha:

The late Lalla Aicha was a member of the Moroccan royal family. She was the sister of King Hassan II and the aunt of the current King Mohammed VI.

Lalla Aicha played a significant role in the development of golf in Morocco and the promotion of the sport among Moroccan women. She is often considered the pioneer of women’s golf in the country.

Thanks to her efforts, Lalla Aicha contributed to the organization of numerous women’s golf tournaments in Morocco, including the Lalla Meryem Cup, an event on the Ladies European Tour named after her niece, Lalla Meryem. This tournament has attracted some of the world’s top women golfers and has helped increase the visibility and reputation of Moroccan golf internationally.

Lalla Aicha was a strong supporter of sports in general and golf in particular. She was an inspiration to many young Moroccan golfers, advocating for gender equality in the sport.

Her legacy lives on through the LET qualifying events that pay tribute to her dedication and commitment to the sport.

Back on US Soil: Solheim Cup 2024 Tickets Now on Sale

The final putt of the 2023 Solheim Cup has barely dropped, but it’s already time to look ahead to next…

About Ladies European Tour & Ladies European Tour Tickets

The Ladies European Tour is the professional women’s golf tour of Europe. Often known simply as the LET, it organises the women’s European golf calendar with upwards of 30 events held each year.

Although it is predominantly a European tour, it also includes events in the United States, Australia, and in countries across Asia and Africa, bringing together top players from around the world.

The LET organises the Solheim Cup when the event is held on European soil, and its majors are the Women’s British Open and the Evian Championship – it does not recognise the 3 major tournaments held in the United States, although its biggest stars will invariably compete in those events.

📜 Ladies European Tour History

The LET was founded in 1978 – professional women’s golf was slower to take hold in Europe than in the United States, where the LPGA Tour had been founded in 1950 – when the Women's Professional Golfers' Association (WPGA) branch formed as part of the Professional Golfers' Association of Great Britain and Ireland.

The Tour itself began the following year with a schedule comprised of 12 36-hole events plus several other tournaments including the Women’s British Open. However, the schedule was reduced to just 10 events by 1982 amid some early struggles, and in 1988 Tour members broke away to form an independent company, Women Professional Golfers' European Tour.

The company changed its name 10 years later to European Ladies' Professional Golf Association, before settling on the Ladies European Tour name in 2000. It has grown slowly and steadily in the decades since; it has particularly expanded in terms of events and prize money in recent years following partnerships with the LPGA Tour and DP World Tour.

💯 Ladies European Tour Format & Scoring

The LET season typically runs from February to December and offers a combined prize money total of more than €35 million. In addition to prize money, players competing on the Tour also earn Race to the Costa del Sol points.

The season concludes with the Andalucía Costa del Sol Open de España. The player with the most points at the end of the season is crowned the LET’s Number One, who shares a €250,000 bonus pool with the players who finish 2nd and 3rd.

Most events are held in the stroke play format, whereby the player with the lowest number of strokes across the tournament is the winner.

🎟️ Ladies European Tour Ticket Prices

Many Ladies European Tour events are free to enter with no ticket or pre-booking required, while those that do have tickets are typically inexpensive, so LET tournaments are a great way for golf enthusiasts or casual sports fans to see the action live without breaking the bank.

The most expensive events to attend are the biggest, i.e. the majors such as the Women’s British Open and the Evian Championship. Ticket prices are also determined by the ticket type you are purchasing, be it general admission (also known as Grounds or Gallery tickets) or hospitality packages where available.

Buy LET Tickets Without Fees – Koobit

On top of the regular prices, LET golf tickets can feature service, processing, or delivery fees which factor into the total cost. Koobit compares official and resale prices inclusive of fees from a range of suppliers across the ticket marketplace so you can buy tickets at the lowest price with fees included.

Koobit provides a handy price breakdown displaying both the base cost of a ticket and the fees on top to ensure you make an informed decision when you purchase tickets.

📅 Upcoming Ladies European Tour Season & Schedule

The LET season typically runs from February to December, with each tournament week usually consisting of either 3 or 4 rounds (Friday-Sunday or Thursday-Sunday), sometimes preceded by practice days or a Pro-Am.

In 2023, it begins on 2 February and ends on 26 November, starting with the Magical Kenya Ladies Open and ending with the Andalucía Costa del Sol Open de España.

Many LET tickets are free to enter and do not require tickets or pre-booking at all. For those that do, daily tickets typically cost in the region of GBP £5 to £15 for general admission, although for majors like the Women’s British Open adults may pay up to £40.

Multi-day tickets typically offer a cost-saving per day, so if you plan on attending more than one day of an event then these can save you money.

Children and seniors are often entitled to free or discounted tickets too, so LET events can be affordable for the whole family to attend.

To help you easily find ticket options to suit your budget, Koobit compares prices for different viewing products, along with handy filters so you can refine your search.

Ladies European Tour Event Reviews

The golf was great.

Parking directions were absolutely appalling!!

Poor organisation from the start! The "opening ceremony" was a shambles! Asking for more money to attend was an utter disgrace and no wonder it was empty! What was the Queen tribute all about? Cringe worthy. No buses from Estepona even though it was the nearest big town! Everything went from moneybags Marbella!

The course was ridiculous to walk and not well signposted and I got lost trying to find my way back to the Plaza (seating area and big screen)

First day I went I had my water taken off me and no food was allowed either so we had to buy ridiculously priced water and basic food. It was €4 for a small froth filled beer.

Hardly any shade or seating for the many fans tired from walking the hilly course.

The final day was boiling hot! Again hardly any shade and you had to PAY an upgrade to obtain a wooden seat that took 2 men hours to put into place. Which should have been done earlier in the day or night before. Loads of faffing about by staff moving chairs and large potted plants whilst we tried to watch the matches on the one screen in the entire venue

Had to leave early on the last day as we knew we wouldn't be able to get back due to lack of transport to Estepona.

Overall an expensive underwhelming experience! A cash cow for the organisers from start to finish.

The golf course was not at all fan friendly . It is a playing course not a walking course . No consideration for fans of all ages who spent a lot of money to support The Solheim Cup .

Relaxed atmosphere, reasonable amount of spectators, good food (fries, pizza), multiple points for refilling your waterbottle, sale of summer clothing at the golfclub

First and foremost: great to have the tournament in Holland. Information to spectators could be improved. F.i. more scorekeepers per flight, leaderboard, course-outlay also on paper instead of only online etc.

The series continues with Game 2 tomorrow morning at 6:05 a.m. ET. Are you ready to watch the LA Dodgers and the San Diego Padres play ball (again)? Here’s everything you need to know about tuning into the 2024 MLB in Seoul Series, including time, channel, series schedule and more.

The MLB Seoul Series will air on ESPN. However, the ESPN broadcast will be subject to local blackout restrictions in both the Los Angeles and San Diego markets. For viewers in LA and San Diego, you’ll need to tune in on SportsNet LA or Padres TV, respectively.

Don’t have cable, or access to ESPN? You can watch ESPN with a live TV streaming service such as Fubo, DirecTV, YouTube TV and Sling.

How to watch Dodgers vs. Padres without cable:

DirecTV’s Choice tier will get you ESPN along with more essential channels for the 2024 MLB season, including Fox, FS1, TBS, ABC and MLB Network. Right now, they're offering a month of their Sports Pack add-on (typically $14.99/month) for free when you sign up. DirecTV also includes plenty of local and sports channels. Every DirecTV subscriber, regardless of tier, enjoys access to an unlimited cloud DVR. You can try DirecTV free.

Starting at $80/month, Fubo TV gives you access to ESPN, plus more channels you'll need for the MLB season like Fox, FS1 and ABC. With Fubo's $9.99/month Sports Lite add-on you can also add MLB Network to that list. One downside to Fubo? You won't get games on TBS. Fubo subscribers also get 1000 hours of cloud DVR storage. How to watch the Dodgers vs. Padres game in San Diego

Much like residents of LA, Padres fans in San Diego won't find their team's next game on ESPN, but they will be able to tune in (for free!) through Padres TV (the team's local RSN). Viewers in San Diego, Tijuana, and the club’s home territory can access the game free by clicking here and creating a username and password to watch on your favorite supported devices. 2024 QB class hype train gone too far? + Caleb Williams' pro day, incoming rule changes | Inside Coverage

Jason Fitz is joined by Yahoo Sports Senior NFL Reporters Charles Robinson and Jori Epstein, as the trio kick off the show by reacting to Caleb William's pro day performance and Marvin Harrison Jr's lack thereof – and how important testing is to NFL evaluators. Next up is the latest on wide receiver market, as the Cleveland Browns paid Jerry Jeudy a surprising amount of money (Charles gives his thoughts on why), and Mike Williams is headed to the New York Jets, who have made some impressive moves this offseason. Later, Charles dives into what he's hearing on the 2024 NFL quarterback class and whether or not the hype train has gone too far, especially when you consider a 2021 QB class that was similarly lauded. The trio discuss JJ McCarthy, Bo Nix, Michael Penix Jr. and how the puzzle might come together at the end of April. The hosts finish the show with expectations for the upcoming owner's meetings next week, as Jori expects we could see the end of the hip drop tackle and some big changes to the kickoff.

As Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour Hits One Year, Let’s Take a Look at Its Staggering Numbers

O n March 17, it will officially have been one year since Taylor Swift's Eras Tour kicked off in Glendale, Ariz. In the 12 months since that fateful first show, Swift has broken untold records , made history as TIME's 2023 Person of the Year , cultivated a new legion of NFL fans , and announced her forthcoming 11th studio album— The Tortured Poets Department , out April 19—among a litany of other accomplishments.

By the end of 2023—less than halfway through its scheduled 152-show run—the Eras Tour had earned over $1 billion to become the highest-grossing concert tour of all time. During that period, every city where Swift played got a substantial economic boost from the so-called "Taylor Swift effect," a term that refers to the singer's unprecedented ability to influence consumer behavior. Following the inaugural U.S. leg of Eras, the U.S. Travel Association estimated that the tour's total economic impact likely exceeded $10 billion.

In the new year, Swift's staggering popularity seems to somehow still be on the rise. Less than a week after watching her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, win the Super Bowl, Swift played to the biggest concert crowd of her career while performing at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) in Australia during the first run of 2024 Eras dates, following four shows in Tokyo.

In honor of the first anniversary of the start of the Eras Tour, we're taking a numerical look back at the biggest year of Swift's career to date.

Number of Eras shows and cities

Swift will have played 83 shows across 30 cities as of March 17. Of those shows, 53 took place in the U.S. in 20 different cities stateside. The remaining 30 were part of the Latin America and Asia-Pacific legs of the tour. By the end of 2024, Swift is set to play a grand total of 152 Eras shows across 54 cities worldwide.

Number of surprise songs

In addition to her 40-plus-song set list, Swift has played at least two "surprise songs" per Eras show. Taking repeats into account, she has performed 145 different tracks (counting mashups of repeat songs as unique entries) as her 167 surprise offerings.

Number of special guests

From MUNA to Sabrina Carpenter to Haim, Swift's Eras stops have featured 10 different opening acts. She has also brought out eight other special guests, from Maren Morris to frequent collaborator Jack Antonoff, to join her on stage at various shows.

Number of people in attendance at her biggest show to date

Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour - Melbourne, Australia

Swift played three back-to-back shows at MCG on Feb. 16, 17, and 18 that were each attended by a record 96,000 people for a three-day total of 288,000 concertgoers. Ed Sheeran, who drew a crowd of around 109,500 each of the two nights he played at MCG in 2023, still holds the venue's single-night attendance record. But that's largely due to the fact that Swift's stage setup took up more room in the arena, cutting down on the number of available seats.

Number of Eras tickets sold

Swift sold an estimated 4.35 million tickets across 60 tour dates within concert trade publication Pollstar's chart year of Nov. 17, 2022 to Nov. 15, 2023. That's an average of 72,500 tickets per show, with each ticket costing an average of $238.95. Using those numbers to extrapolate across shows played since then, Swift has likely now sold around 6.02 million tickets.

Total Eras Tour gross

Based on the approximately $17.32 million in ticket revenue Pollstar estimates Swift earned for each of the first 60 Eras dates, her total tour gross currently sits somewhere around $1.44 billion. By the end of 2024, the tour is expected to have brought in an astronomical $2.165 billion. For comparison, the second-highest grossing tour of all time, Elton John’s multi-year Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour, sold six million tickets over the course of 328 shows to earn $939 million.

Total Eras merch revenue

Taylor Swift Fans Descend On Melbourne Cricket Ground

According to reports from different venues, Pollstar estimates Eras attendees were spending an average of $40 per person on merch at the first 60 Eras shows. That puts Swift's tour merch revenue at an estimated $240.8 million—not including non-concert day purchases—following her first run of 2024 Eras dates.

Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour box-office earnings

Since its Oct. 13 release in theaters, Swift's record-breaking three-and-a-half-hour concert film has grossed $180,756,269 in North America and $261,656,269 globally at the box office. An extended edition of the movie became available to rent via video on demand services on Swift's birthday, Dec. 13, followed by the longest and most complete version of the film, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (Taylor’s Version) , arriving on streaming on Disney+ March 14.

Number of new songs

Since the Eras Tour began, Swift has released two re-recorded albums, Speak Now (Taylor's Version) and 1989 (Taylor's Version) , and one new single, "You're Losing Me (From the Vault)," for a total of 45 new songs (including re-recorded songs and vault tracks). In their first week of sales, Speak Now (Taylor's Version) , which featured one Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 hit, and 1989 (Taylor's Version) , which featured seven Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 hits, sold 716,000 equivalent album units and 1.653 million equivalent album units, respectively. "You're Losing Me (From the Vault)" tallied 8.7 million official streams and sold 19,000 downloads in the U.S. in the first two days after its Nov. 29 debut, according to Luminate .
