“Selfish” and “Drown” are the first cuts from Everything I Thought It Was , JT’s first solo album release in more than six years.
Due out March 15, EITIW is Timberlake’s sixth studio LP, and the followup to Man of the Woods which peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 following its release in February 2018, for his fourth consecutive solo leader.
“I worked for a long time on this album and I ended up with 100 songs,” he told Zane Lowe in a recent interview for Apple Music 1. “So narrowing them down to 18 was a thing, and then, yeah, I’m really excited about this album. I think every artist probably says this, but it is my best work.”
The 10-time Grammy Award winner warmed-up for his live return with a performance last month in New York at the 1,100-capacity Irving Plaza.

Debuting atop both charts either side of the atlantic, the album has now sold almost six million copies worldwide and spawned three number one singles including 'What Goes Around', 'My Love' and 'SexyBack'.
After the huge success of this album, accompanied by a worldwide sell out tour, JT decided to take a break from music to pursue his acting career. Apart from the huge single '4 Minutes', in which he collaborated with the legendary Madonna, Timberlake took a large step back from the industry. During the time he starred in box office hits including 'Bad Teacher', 'Friends With Benefits' and 'The Love Guru' whilst establishing himself as a style icon worldwide.
With a larger reputation and a slicker style to match his accolades, Justin returned in 2013 with 'The 20/20 Experience', an album which showcased an older soul influence and a more mature pop sound. It spawned platinum selling singles 'Mirrors' and 'Suit & Tie' which featured long-term friend Jay Z. The album topped charts worldwide and JT took a huge show around the world to support the album along with a headline slot at the 2014 V Festival. Justin Timberlake is a class act with an even classier sound.
Live reviews
The lights dim and a robotic female voice counts down, inching you closer to the moment you’ve been waiting for…ten…nine…eight… The spotlight casts his silhouette 30 feet high onto the wall of Madison Square Garden, an image of regality, Justin Timberlake clasps the cufflinks on his white Tom Ford suit…seven, six, five… His shadow brings light into the hearts of the city. This is it, New York. And you’re ready…four, three, two, one…
Justin Timberlake’s falsetto floods you with dopamine as he slowly rings out the first 30 seconds of his love anthem “Pusher Love Girl”.
The band pulls on the harp strings. His voice pulls on your heart strings. Notes tip tap down the spines of 18,000 adoring fans. Pheromones and sound waves fill Madison Square Garden, seeping into the bones of the city that never sleeps.
There is nothing quite like the lovestoned story Justin Timberlake croons to a crowd of thousands lucky enough to partake in his live music journey. The 20/20 Experience World Tour blessed New York City on that freezing February night, but JT and his backup singers and dancers, The Tennessee Kids, kept the women warm and wanting more over the course of the 2+ hour show in which sexy is definitely brought back.
It's a night of non-stop getting in of the groove. As if the honeycomb stage and laser light shows were not visually stimulating enough, JT delivers on a once-in-a-lifetime personal experience with an animatronic catwalk stage that came to life stories above the crowd, traversing the stadium. Fans across the entire arena get the chance to be no more than 5 feet from Justin, take selfies with the President of Pop, and if they’re lucky enough to sit in the VIP Pit in the back, can reach out for a handshake and hang out with The Tennessee Kids themselves. Good luck finding the drive to wash your hand after that…

Justin Timberlake the 20/20 experience! Or pure awesomeness experience. Everybody knows Justin Timberlake is brillant, he's talented, he is an incredible showman and he knows how to razzle dazzle a crowd! From horny ladies to the non-fan hubbies (who were just there to make sure their lady does not end up throwing herself at JT), everybody was more than pleased by this incredible 2 hours of magic. Justin just can't do wrong. The music is great, the band is incredible, the energy of the 6 dancers, backing vocalists, lights, stage, INCREDIBLE setlist, the DJ prior the show; everything is perfect and everybody is under his spell after the show. The guys want to be him, the girls want him. He's entertaining, he's fun, he's talented. He really raised the bar with this tour. The 20/20 experience show is a great blend of all Justin's records from the first to the last. Your favourite song is on the setlist for sure + amazing covers of Michael Jackson and Elvis. He plays piano, guitar, dances, sings, acts, we wonder what he can't do... The cherry on top is that gigantic see through catwalk which moved from the stage to the back of the arena where Justin stayed for 3 songs, allowing the entire arena to be upclose and personal with him.
Go "Experience" Justin, it will be worth every penny spent "This I promise you"!
I truly hesitated on spending such a large amount on 2 concert tickets.....SO WORTH IT! Justin Timberlake and the Tennessee Kids put on not only a musical performance of top artistic quality but the stage and light show was also a strong, almost extra member of the tour. The Tennessee Kids kept the beat pumping and the energy swinging. Their ability to quickly move through pop pieces was impressive. The pure delight and energy that they were feeding the audience was also addictive. Justin was top notch not only as a singer but also a dancer. I am always amazed that someone can sing and dance so hard for such a long period of time. I really enjoyed that in between songs we got to experience his personality and sense of humor. I was most impressed when he kept it simple with either just him and a piano or him and an acoustic guitar... it reminds you why he is so widely appreciated, because Justin is just plain talented. If you are debating the ticket price, don't... bite the bullet and enjoy the 20/20 Experience. I am so glad I went as it was an opportunity to cross another performer off the bucket list.
All I can say is WOW! I have to admit I was not a fan of JT until I heard Suit and Tie and now I am hooked! I also was not expecting such a well put together show. From the second he came out singing Pusher Girl to the end he KILLED IT!!!' He was sharp as was his band and dancers. He also sang an Alicia Keys song, Frank Sinatra, Kool and the Gang and BBD. He also threw in Elvis just to even it out. That impressed me. When the stage raised up and moved across the arena I almost passed out. Him and his dancers were still jammin as the stage moved and came back again!!! The boy is DOPE! He came out at 9:00 pm and didn't leave the stage until 11:30 with only one 10 minute break. I am writing this 7 months after and it's like I saw him last night. He is coming back to the Barclays in December and yes I will be there! Oh and his set list covered songs from each album. When Suit and Tie started everybody lost it. Again a good crowd adds to the enjoyment of a concert! I am bringing sexy back!!!
We've been patiently waiting for Justin Timberlake come to Ottawa since 2000 when he came with NSYNC. He so didn't disappoint! I saw him on his Future Sex/Love Sound tour in Toronto and this show was just as epic. He had us on our feet all night long and it was so worth the money. Heck... I'd probably pay more next time if I could swing it! He even had a short 10 minute intermission which I've never experienced before but it was kind of nice. He was on stage for a solid hour before the short break, and when he came back, he was on stage for about another hour and 15 minutes of non-stop dancing and singing. The stage was pretty awesome too. And from what I can gather about the VIP area... so worth the money. That's according to my friend who bought tickets to sit there anyway.
If there were an infinite amount of stars to give JT's 20/20 experience tour I so would. Do yourself a favour and GO SEE HIM!!
Great performers are the people who can make a stadium venue feel like an intimate show. Someone who connects with each person in the audience. Justin Timberlake is a charismatic, talented performer. His personal interaction with the crowd separates him from an artist to an entertainer. He even went out of his way to sing "happy birthday" to a lady in the crowd! I had waited seven long years to see this man in action and he didn't disappoint! He has such an amazing energy, you could literally feel the electricity in the arena. At times he was just standing on stage grinning while the whole stadium was erupting with screams and applause. After the intermission part of the stage moves to the other side of the stadium, getting the crowd in the stands that little bit closer to the man himself. JT. What a night!!!
I have been a Justin Timberlake fan since "Tearin' Up My Heart". Every time I hear him sing, I'm as giddy as a 14 year old girl. (I'm 30). His on stage presence makes you want to be his friend because you feel like he is genuinely a nice person. His interaction with the fans makes me feel like he a real person, not superficial or self-involved like a lot of these stars. Days before the concert, I had all 4 solo CD's on repeat. It's been 5 days since I saw him and I still have it on repeat. His voice was authentic and flawless and I could have died right at that moment and been happy.
JT and the Tennessee Kids, were fantastic.
I have seen Madonna in her prime, U2, and Dave Matthews with Carlos Santana. Each one I thought was the best concert I'll ever see, Justin blew them away. The light show, the dancing, and interaction with the crowd was unlike any show I've experienced.
His cover of Bel Biv Devoes "Poison" was like taking a time machine back to 1990. I recommend that you experience this show. I believe, again that this was the best concert I'll ever see.
Very interactive with the audience. Not a ton of props so he kept his tour simple. His dancers didn’t have elaborate outfits, but went with his tour “Man of the Woods” style. Seems like he likes to have different openers at different shows. He had a freestyler and also a pop/alternative artist open for him- a Canadian artist named Francesco Yates. Justin Timberlake performs well in concert and authentic to his recorded music, and he brings a lot of dancing!
All I can say is that it should be illegal for one individual to be that talented! I giggled squeeled and screemed like a little school girl! Best show I've EVER been to and I probably go to at least 5 gigs a month. Well worth the money; consider it an investment in a memory that will stay with you forever.

Justin Rose and Justin Timberlake team up in Scotland
Musician, actor and avid golfer Justin Timberlake will tee it up for the first time in the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship alongside World Number Four Justin Rose from September 26-29.
Former World Number One Rose has fond memories from the event, played over three of the world’s best known and respected courses – the Old Course at St Andrews, Carnoustie and the highly regarded Kingsbarns Golf Links, having finished runner-up in 2007.
Timberlake, a ten-time Grammy award-winning musician and four-time Emmy award-winning actor, has sold more than 32 million albums and 56 million singles, making him one of the most popular artists on the planet. He has been named twice by Time magazine as one the 100 most influential people in the world.
With a prize fund of US$5 million, the Championship incorporates two separate competitions - an individual professional tournament for the world's leading golfers and a team event in which the professionals are paired with some of the most celebrated amateur golfers which creates a unique atmosphere.
This is the 35th year that Alfred Dunhill has supported golf at St Andrews, through the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship and previously the Alfred Dunhill Cup. With the addition of the Alfred Dunhill Links Foundation in 2011, millions have been raised for charity.
Admission is free for all spectators over the first three days with final day tickets on Sunday, September 29 available to purchase at the entrance gates for £20 (Concessions £15), or in advance here.

Justin Timberlake announces massive Manchester gig on European tour
Sexy is BACK.
Justin Timberlake has finally announced European shows on his massive The Forget Tomorrow World Tour, including a night here in Manchester.
The so-called prince of pop has been behind some of the biggest chart-toppers of a generation, including SexyBack, Mirrors, and Trolls hit Can’t Stop The Feeling.
Justin Timberlake’s career spans decades, first as a member of boyband NSYNC, then as a hugely successful solo performer.
He’s also got several acting credits to his name, in films like The Social Network, Friends with Benefits, and In Time (objectively, not a good film).
Timberlake has told more than 63 million singles globally as a solo artist and has 10 Grammy Awards on his shelf.
And now for the next chapter of his illustrious career he’s back on the live stage, with a huge arena world tour already announced.
Fans have been eagerly awaiting the announcement of a European leg, which has arrived this morning and includes stops in Poland, Germany, the UK, Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, and France.
Justin Timberlake will be in Manchester at the brand-new Co-op Live arena in August this year.
The Forget Tomorrow World Tour now has 67 shows, with more than 550,000 tickets already sold in the U.S.
The news comes ahead of the release of new album Everything I Thought It Was, which will be released on 15 March, and new single Drown.
Tickets for Justin Timberlake’s show in Manchester will go on sale on Friday 1 March at 10am.

Co-op Live has partnered with Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) to offer free tram and bus travel to and from the new area for all event ticket holders.
The groundbreaking initiative, which has been announced today , is the first of its kind in the UK.
Travel on the Metrolink and new city centre shuttle buses via the Bee Network will be included in all arena event tickets during the brand-new venue’s opening season from 20 April to 30 June 2024 as part of the just-announced initiative.
Under the new venue-funded initiative, fans will be able to use the Metrolink from four hours before, and up to four hours after (depending on the timing of each show ) shows with a valid arena event ticket.
Co-op Live and @beenetwork are very pleased to announce a ground-breaking, first of its kind initiative which will see travel on trams and new city centre shuttle buses included in all arena event tickets from 20 April to 30 June 2024 🎟️🚊 Find out more👇 https://t.co/nZlSwOPeQK pic.twitter.com/Eh9zQqAHgB — Co-op Live (@TheCoopLive) March 14, 2024
This will apply all four zones of the Metrolink, which should therefore allow people to travel at a time that’s most convenient to them – especially following the recent introduction of trams every six minutes all-day from Monday to Saturday, and later trams on a Friday and Saturday, too.
On top of this, Co-op Live and TfGM will also be introducing a city centre shuttle bus service.
The number of shuttle buses available will vary by event profile, according to Co-op Live, with a maximum of 10 buses per show deparing from Joe Mercer Way at the Etihad Campus and arriving at Piccadilly Gardens .
Bosses at the Bee Network and the state-of-the-art new venue – which is set to not only be the biggest in the UK, but in Europe – say including tram and shuttle bus travel with all event tickets will help to ensure fans can make a “quick and easy getaway at the end of the night”, no matter whether they’re heading back home or into Manchester city centre to enjoy further attractions.
“We are dedicated to ensuring easy and accessible transport links to and from Co-op Live,” commented Gary Roden, who is the Executive Director and General Manager of Co-op Live, as the new transport offer was announced.
“We are delighted to be working with TfGM to offer this inclusive service for our fans for opening season.
“Coupled with the planning application submitted for a new ‘CityLink’ walking route from the city centre to the Etihad Campus, we are further demonstrating our commitment to the environment by encouraging more sustainable transport choices, and providing additional neighbour-friendly options to support increased footfall across East Manchester.”
To claim travel across the network, all fans must be in possession of a valid event ticket – which they will need to show on request.

The AO Arena in Manchester has finally unveiled its new VIP bar and restaurant, The Mezz, as part of its £50m redevelopment.
The luxurious new space promises to elevate the gig-going experience with five-star hospitality before, during and after every show at the huge venue.
There’s the restaurant space, of course, where the menu of modern British cuisine has been worked on by Simon Rogan MBE (of three-Michelin star L’Enclume) and Tom Barnes (of soon-to-open Skof in Manchester).
The pair will be working on quarterley seasonal dishes, which currently includes a roast rump of Herdwick lamb with onions and split pea; and a lightly-set jasmine cream with white chocolate and rose for dessert.
And members of The Mezz will gain priority reservation access to restaurants across the UMBEL portfolio, which are among the best and most sought-after tables in the world.
Then across the way from the restaurant is The Mezz bar, where there’s a menu packed with signature cocktails, fine wines and champagnes.
The bar area remains open throughout every gig – so no more scrambling to get served in the main arena bars.
There’s no rush to leave either. The Mezz bar remains open for several hours after the curtain falls, with DJs providing post-show entertainment.
Once you’ve eaten and drank your fill and are ready for the show, you can head up a short flight of stairs and find yourself in prime position in the AO Arena .
With plush best-in-house seats and a clear view straight-on to the stage, The Mezz’s audience experience is sure to set a new gold standard for arenas everywhere.
The new hospitality area sits between the new concourse and the 23,000-capacity arena bowl.
VIPs who have already tested it out include Brian McFadden, Jorgie Porter, Rachel Lugo and Peter Hook, who all attended a glittering red carpet launch night and watched Niall Horan perform.
Member perks include guaranteed attendance for all shows at the AO Arena, direct access to the arena bowl, early access via a dedicated VIP entrance, dedicated parking, all-inclusive food and drink, a private cocktail bar, a private dedicated table in the restaurant and personalised service including a cloakroom boasting the latest in venue technology, members app and portal, and dedicated host service. Pretty fancy.
But of course, all this luxury comes at a price. Memberships for The Mezz start from £3,500 – that gets you access to 10 shows and The Mezz Bar (for 10 shows with The Mezz Dining it’s £4,000).
And if you want to really soak in all the action with a 50-show membership, that’s £8,500 for the bar or £12,500 for the restaurant.
You can find out more about The Mezz in Manchester and memberships here and follow The Mezz on Instagram here .

Justin Timberlake adds new Chicago date to 2024 world tour
Justin Timberlake fans who missed out on tickets to his world tour will have another chance to see him in Chicago months later.

Already, Timberlake has shows scheduled for the venue on June 21-22, which both sold out as tickets went on sale Friday.
Tickets for the newly announced shows, including Oct. 27 at the United Center, will be available starting Tuesday and continuing Thursday for Verizon and Citi presale. They will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday at justintimberlake.com .
The former *NSYNC boy band member first announced his "The Forget Tomorrow World Tour" last month , with shows set to begin this spring.
The tour kicks off April 29 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC, Live Nation said. It will stop at the United Center in Chicago June 21.
Live Nation says fans attending the tour can expect to hear songs from Timberlake's forthcoming album "Everything I thought it Was," along with "everyone's favorite hits."

Elliot Page has taken aim at the notion that queer films only have a small audience.
Speaking at the BFI Flare, London’s LGBTQ film festival, the actor claimed that “30% of young people identify as LGBTQ,” referring to a survey released earlier this year about Gen Z adults in the U.S. “So I’m sorry, but this is not niche.”
The feature — Page’s first since 2017 — was also the actor’s first time using an intimacy coordinator on set, something he said was remarkable given the sex scenes he’d shot much earlier in his career. He singled out an “awful experience with a much older man” in a film he made when he was 16. “How was someone not there [for that]?” he said. “It’s not fine. There are really vulnerable moments.”
Page also discussed coming out as trans to “ The Umbrella Academy ” creator and showrunner Steve Blackman before shooting the third season of the hit superhero series, and how it was then woven into the storyline.
“Steve was actually one of the first people I came out to,” he said, adding that he told Blackman that he hoped to have surgery before the shoot started. “So we all collaborated about how to do it. And luckily Steve really listened and we tried to handle it in a way that’s not not emotional, but doesn’t have to be a big drama.”
Reflecting on his current status as a working actor and filmmaker through his own Page Boy Productions banner, Page said he felt fortunate.
“I hate that I have to say this because it should not be the case, and we should have lots of trans actors,” he said. “But I feel really lucky that I’ve gone through what I’ve gone through and still get to be here and make things.”
