How do we get back to the Old Port if we book a one-way ticket to the Atwater Market?

We recommend you rent a Bixi, in only 10-15 min, you will be back. Otherwise, the Lionel-Groulx metro station is a few minutes walk from the market!

How many people can the boats accommodate?

Le Petit Navire can accommodate 32 people comfortably, or 15 Americans.Le Petit Navire II can accommodate 22 people comfortably, or 10 Americans.

Can we bring our dog on board?

If your dog can swim and is small to medium in size, he should have no problems.

Can we eat on board?

No.According to our research, fasting for 45 minutes does not represent a health risk.

Is there a toilet on board?

*A small toilet is available for emergencies.

Can I get seasick?

For more than 18 seasons and tens of thousands of passengers carried, it is extremely rare that a passenger gets seasick.The captain always listens to his passengers and takes the necessary measures.

Le Petit Navire is a zero-pollution electric propulsion boat that can accommodate up to 28 passengers. With departures from the Quai Jacques-Cartier, the Captain welcomes you aboard a guided tour on the Lachine Canal between the Old Port and Atwater Market. We asked to see the crack and there was NOTHING!! Then the owner started denying saying he didn't say crack but scratch but there was also NO SCRATCH. They take advantage of people and steal clients' hard-earned money. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS. Worst, most racist experience I have ever encountered in my life. FIND OTHER PLACES!! I wish I had reserved it directly on their website in order to get a better rate. I went on an one hour tour. Our guide Julien and his beautiful girlfreind were really helpful and great. This is a great experience if you already have some experience with Jet Skiing. It was quite different from jet skiing in the ocean ( Miami beach or Caribbean waters). I was alone and there was a other group that did not fallow the instruction! So we where brought back to the duck for the safety of that group then the employee there saw that I didn’t enjoy that experience so they offered me nicely the best time of my life on the St-Laurent river where I was supervised by a professional guid from far. I was able to securely enjoy my ride. My advice is to fallow the guide and enjoy this experience. Dont forget to bring some extra clothes because U Will GET WET !! U have to try it this summer ! Little did I know that my best experience by far during this trip would be to jet ski. My son and I went on the 45 mn tour on Friday. It was so good that even though I had to fly back on Sunday at 8, I went for another 45 mn at 5 on sunday (before heading to the airport). The staff is super pro, super helpful and super organised. Doing jet ski on the Saint Laurent is an amazing experience. I have done jet ski in many places (sea, lakes, etc) but this beats it all. Don't miss it ! We booked a 3 hour snowmobile tour pretty last minute and they helped take care of everything including transportation to and from our Airbnb to Louisville as well as ensuring we were probably dressed for -12f degree weather.
