GLENDALE, Ariz. – Taylor Swift wowed fans with a dream show at her first concert tour since 2018.

During the March kickoff of The Eras Tour at State Farm Stadium outside of Phoenix, the iconic singer-songwriter unveiled a massive 44-song setlist that, appropriately, tagged every frame of her 17-year-career.

On July 7, she added "Long Live" to the set, from the "Taylor's Version" of "Speak Now."

Swift’s titanic production – complete with themed sets, outfits that represent notable moments in her album catalog and visuals that stun – wrapped its first round of shows Aug. 9 after six productions at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium.

But Swift won't say goodbye to North America yet. She returns for another set of shows in October 2024.

From the “ Lover ”-era “Miss Americana & the Heartbreak Prince” that open the shows to the “ Midnights ” album cut “Karma” that close the three-hour-plus musical marathons, Swift leaves barely any song possibilities unsung .

Taylor Swift is adding surprise songs to every Eras tour stop. See the list so far.

How many songs does Taylor Swift play on the Eras Tour setlist?

The average Taylor Swift concert is around 2 hours long but The Eras Tour is a whole different beast... The concert is a whopping 3 hours and 15 minutes long, and Taylor performs a huge 45 tracks within that timeframe.

Not all the tracks are performed in full, though – some are shortened versions. There's also a couple of additional little interludes that pop up throughout the show.

For context, on the Rep tour, Taylor performed 19 tracks in total, including several mashups that featured some of her older songs. For The 1989 World Tour, she performed 18 songs, while 17 songs were performed on The Red Tour and the Speak Now World Tour.

Taylor has 'reset' the surprise song list, which means anyone attending a show in 2024 can anticipate hearing a song she's already performed. She previously stated that she will only play each surprise song once during the tour, unless she messes one up.

There's also no rules for Taylor repeating songs from Midnights as surprise songs, which means fans may get to hear the likes of 'You're On Your Own Kid' and 'Snow on the Beach' again at some point in the future.

We'll update this article with every Surprise Acoustic Song – and every surprise song that she will play again – after every show.

Will Taylor Swift change the Eras Tour setlist to include The Tortured Poets Department?

Will Taylor Swift change the Eras Tour setlist for the international shows?

As of March 9th 2024, the Eras Tour setlist has remained the same as the U.S. leg. However, with the release of The Tortured Poets Department in April, things could change. More on that further down the page.

Fans attending the European shows might end up hearing Taylor perform 'Castles Crumbling' with Hayley Williams as an additional song during the Speak Now section, as Paramore will be supporting her throughout those tour dates. (Both Phoebe Bridgers and HAIM joined Taylor on stage to perform 'Nothing New' and 'No Body, No Crime' respectively on the nights they were support acts.)

After completing her shows in South America, Australia, Japan and Singapore, Taylor is now set to pick the tour back up in Europe in May 2024 and run through to mid-August, before returning to North America in November 2024.

Will Taylor Swift change the Eras Tour setlist to include The Tortured Poets Department ?

Taylor's brand new album will be released on April 19th, just before she embarks on the European leg of the Eras Tour.

We won't know for sure whether or not the official setlist will change to accommodate those songs until she kicks off the Eras Tour in Paris on May 9th.

It's unclear if she will add a new TTPD section to the tour, but it's looking very likely that Taylor will perform some of those new songs as surprise songs. We'll update this article as soon as we know more!

What are Taylor's most performed songs on tour?

Before she embarked on The Eras Tour, Taylor’s top 3 most performed songs are ‘Love Story’ (491 times), ‘Our Song’ (404 times) and ‘You Belong With Me’ (381 times).

Of course, almost all of Taylor’s most performed songs are from her first two albums. As the list goes on, the Speak Now bops, Red bangers and 1989 hits start to weave their way in.

If you’re wondering what Taylor’s most played songs from her first five albums are, here’s a break down:

  • Taylor Swift : ‘Our Song’, ‘Tim McGraw’ and ‘Picture To Burn’
  • Fearless: ‘Love Story’, ‘You Belong With Me’ and ‘Fifteen’
  • Speak Now : ‘Sparks Fly’, ‘Mean’ and ‘Mine’
  • Red : ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’, ‘I Knew You Were Trouble’ and ‘Red’
  • 1989 : ‘Shake It Off’, ‘Blank Space’ and ‘Out of the Woods’

Taylor has only had the chance to perform songs from Reputation on the Reputation Stadium Tour so far, but ‘Ready For It?’, ‘Delicate’ and ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ take the top spots when it comes to live performances of the Rep tracks.

Due to the cancellation of Lover Fest, Taylor hasn’t been able to perform Lover on a tour setting. Folklore, Evermore and Midnights will also be making their tour debut on the Eras Tour.

Find out which songs from the tour setlist were cut

eras tour setlist video

Taylor Swift’s “The Eras Tour” concert film premiered in October to an enthusiastic crowd of celebrities, fans and of course Taylor’s team, with the star of the film in attendance. As one of the first to see the film, TheWrap got the scoop on which songs from the wildly popular tour made the film, and which songs were cut.

After making speeches in multiple auditoriums for separate audiences, Swift, clad in a sky blue floral-patterned dress (probably in theme for “1989 (Taylor’s Version) with her hair pinned up like the signature bob she had when that album first came out), sat back to enjoy the film’s premiere in one of the IMAX screening rooms with her background vocalists and publicist Tree Paine.

The documentary runs 2 hours and 48 minutes, slightly shorter than Swift’s three-hour setlist and performance, which she has brought to 17 of the United States so far in addition to Mexico. The European leg will kick off in November, with Swift returning for 15 more U.S. shows in October and November of 2024. And now you can rent “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” on digital to watch at home. Read on for the 41 songs that made the cut to truly represent all 10 of Swift’s eras.

Taylor Swift’s Record-Breaking Eras Tour: See the Setlist

by Lorie Liebig August 10, 2023, 5:18 pm

On Wednesday (August 9), the extensive first leg of Taylor Swift ‘s career-spanning Eras Tour came to a triumphant close. During the final performance of six straight nights at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, the 33-year-old hitmaker announced that a re-recorded version of her 2014 album  1989  will be released on October 27.

Videos by American Songwriter

The news is just the latest in a sea of special announcements and surprises that have coincided with Swift’s first headlining tour in five years. Since kicking off on March 17 in Glendale, Arizona, The Eras Tour has been Swift’s platform to share news directly with her dedicated fans. Along with the release dates for Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) and the extended edition of her 2022 album Midnights , she debuted her music videos for “Karma” and “I Can See You” from the stage.

The special connection that Swift has fostered with her massive fanbase has helped land The Eras Tour in the history books. The U.S. Justice Department launched a formal investigation into Ticketmaster after unpredicted demand for the tour caused the site to crash during its initial pre-sale.

On a more positive note, sales of beads and craft supplies rose due to thousands of fans creating Swift-themed friendship bracelets to exchange at show dates. The Eras Tour is also on track to become the highest-grossing concert tour in history , breaking a sales record previously held by Elton John.

If you didn’t get to see Swift’s visual spectacle, which includes vignette performances of songs from each of her past albums, you’re in luck. Additional U.S. dates were recently announced for 2024 , with more dates expected to be unveiled in the coming months.

If you don’t have your tickets to the Eras Tour yet, you can get them on StubHub , where orders are 100% guaranteed through StubHub’s FanProtect program. StubHub is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.

Taylor Swift Eras Tour Setlist, All 148 Songs Revealed [With Videos]

In this article, we reveal Taylor Swift's Eras Tour setlist. First, we list the core 42 songs played at most shows. Then we show videos of all the songs, so you can experience how the epic 3.5-hour concert feels from the comfort of your own home . Next, we do the same with the 106 additional songs Taylor picks from, depending on the show location. She does 3 of these per show, taking the set up to 45 songs total.

Here are Taylor Swift’s songs usually played for the Eras Tour.

Core Songs In The Eras Tour Setlist

Now let's enjoy the songs in order!

From The Album: Lover

1. miss americana & the heartbreak prince.

This track made its concert debut on the tour’s opening night in Glendale, Arizona. Since then, it has consistently held the position as the show-opener throughout the tour.

Before we go any further, let me clarify that this and all of the following songs have been played 48 times or more throughout the initial US leg of the Eras Tour, with many being played at every show. The concerts are broken up into 10 different acts covering songs from different albums.

All of these acts will be covered here, with the exception of the 9th act, which is designated to hold performances of rare songs. These songs can be found in the following section.

2. Cruel Summer

Cruel Summer also made its debut on the opening night of the Eras Tour. This pop song takes a lyrical look at the challenges one faces upon reaching a certain level of fame.

Taylor Swift keeps with the electropop vibe with the 3rd song in her setlist, The Man. This track is known for its criticism of gender inequalities, and for calling out actor, Leonardo DiCaprio.

4. You Need To Calm Down

ou Need To Calm Down is famous for expressing Taylor’s pride in supporting the LGBTQ+ community.

At the 5th slot of Act 1, Taylor likes to switch the sound up a bit by often performing Lover. This song has been played at every show thus far.

6. The Archer

This downtempo electropop finds Taylor expressing some of her most humanistic insecurities.

From Taylor Swift's Album: Fearless

7. fearless.

Taylor pivots the concert’s sound by switching to the pop-country stylings heard in Fearless. Lyrically, this song is all about getting over those nervous jitters that often hold people back from pursuing their heart’s desire.

8. You Belong With Me

You Belong With Me is written from the perspective of somebody with feelings for someone who is already in a relationship, though massively underappreciated and often mistreated.

You Belong With Me

9. Love Story

Taylor keeps on with the pop-country vibe with Love Story, which has been commonly used to close out the Fearless act. Love Story is famous for being Taylor’s personal twist on the tragic story of Romeo And Juliet.

From Her Album: Evermore

10. ’tis the damn season.

In the next act, Taylor likes to switch it up with the folk-pop stylings of ’tis the damn season.

Taylor keeps with the folk vibe on willow, which is a song about going the distance in the name of love.

12. marjorie

With marjorie, Taylor takes the time to pay homage to her grandmother, who was once a famous opera singer.

13. champagne problems

The waltz-y song, champagne problems, finds Taylor examining feelings of being unprepared for commitment.

14. tolerate it

Taylor Swift’s track, tolerate it, often closes out the Evermore act by touching on the imbalance of efforts that can exist in a relationship.

From Taylor's Album: Reputation

15. …ready for it.

Swift normally begins the Reputation act with the album’s opening track, bringing an upbeat pace to the show.

16. Delicate

Taylor continues with the electropop vibe with Delicate, which considers how one’s reputation can affect the fragile beginnings of a relationship.

17. Don’t Blame Me

Don’t Blame Me charges forward with an unapologetic vibe as Taylor writes from the perspective of someone who accepts their reputation.

18. Look What You Made Me Do

The fan-favorite Look What You Made Me Do closes out this section on a high note.

Taken From The Album: Speak Now

19. enchanted.

Speak Now fans might be a little disappointed to find out that Enchanted is usually the only song featured from the album.

Performed From Taylor Swift's Album: Red

Taylor returns to the softer side of pop-country with 22 kicking off the Red act.

21. We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together

Fans have been enjoying group camaraderie as Taylor kicks into this longtime fan-favorite.

22. I Knew You Were Trouble

Taylor continues to keep the audience’s energy at a peak with the dubstep-infused I Knew You Were Trouble.

23. All Too Well

This hard-hitting ballad typically closes out the Red section on a powerful note, with performances sometimes lasting up to 10 minutes.

All Too Well

From The Album: Folklore

The Folklore section of the concert kicks off with the minimalistic first track on the album.

Taylor tells the story of a relationship with betty and its folk music influences.

26. the last great american dynasty

With this track, Taylor injects a hint of electronica to help bring the concert’s energy to a build yet again.

Swift then follows up with august, which has often been one of the highlights of the concert for many attendees.

28. illicit affairs

Fans typically join in to sing along with illicit affairs, which features minimalistic instrumentation and heavy-hitting lyrics.

29. my tears ricochet

With my tears ricochet, Taylor dials up the ballad meter to deliver a powerful moment every audience member will remember.

30. cardigan

Taylor Swift closes out this section with the stripped-down and nostalgic tone of the song, cardigan.

From Taylor's Hit Album: 1989

Swift kicks off the 1989 segment with Style, which injects an infectious energy into the crowd.

32. Blank Space

In keeping with the energy build, Taylor follows up with one of her biggest hits, Blank Space.

33. Shake It Off

With the dance-pop track, Shake It Off, Taylor provides an opportunity for all of her fans to cut the rug.

34. Wildest Dreams

Taylor then tapers off the energy slightly, delivering what many consider to be one of her most powerful ballads.

35. Bad Blood

Swift ties the 1989 section up to a close with Bad Blood. This is generally the last song heard before Taylor’s section of surprise songs.

Album Taken From: Midnights

36. lavender haze.

The opening track of Midnights begins the album’s portion of the show with its pop-infused message about being yourself.

37. Anti-Hero

Taylor continues with the retro vibe with Anti-Hero, which touches on her personal insecurities.

Anti-Hero

38. Midnight Rain

Midnight Rain usually follows up and maintains the audience’s energy level with its moody electropop sound.

39. Vigilante Shit

Taylor follows up with this minimalistic track that emphasizes her fiery message about being unapologetically vengeful.

40. Bejeweled

Swifts Cinderella-influenced track, Bejeweled, follows up to serve some lighthearted dance vibes.

41. Mastermind

With this track, Taylor brings the audience’s energy to a focal point with its immersive sound of arpeggiated electronic effects.

Taylor has been closing out her concerts with Karma, which is a pretty straightforward pop song reminiscent of the early 2000s.

The above is the core setlist for the Eras Tour. That said, Taylor Swift also plays more songs infrequently on this tour. Click below to go to the next page and see what those songs are.

Taylor Swift concert review in Singapore: A near-perfect celebration of the singer's legacy thus far

The Singapore leg of Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour commenced on Saturday (Mar 2) at the National Stadium and proved to be an extravaganza for fans and non-fans alike.

Hazeeq Sukri

It finally happened. It took us days of snaking queues outside post offices  and many , many articles  about her to get here but global megastar Taylor Swift finally kicked off the Singapore leg of The Eras Tour on Saturday (Mar 2) to great fanfare.

I'll admit: I'm not the biggest Swiftie. I stopped religiously listening to her songs after the non-Taylor's Version of 1989 – an album that came out in 2014. That's an entire decade of not keeping up with Tay Tay. As such, coming into the concert, I was worried if I'd be able to appreciate the experience – especially once post-1989 songs started playing.

However, as I quickly learnt, that's the beauty of The Eras Tour. Unlike most other concerts which feature a selection of songs from various albums lined up randomly, the setlist of The Eras Tour is split into sections that mark a different Swift album across her 18-year-long career – an era, if you will.

If you aren't familiar with a particular album, motifs and visuals related to its themes will play at the start of each "era", giving you an aperitif. As Swift puts it, The Eras Tour is for old fans to "celebrate the memories" shared over the years and for new fans to "catch up with all the fun".

Before we go any further with Swift, I need to quickly talk about Sabrina Carpenter – the opening act for this leg of The Eras Tour.

eras tour setlist video

She was simply magical. The 24-year-old singer made every moment of her set count, whether it was displaying her vulnerability with Because I Liked A Boy or working the crowd with her cover of Abba's Dancing Queen.

Her masterful performance of her viral hit Nonsense was another strong display of her musicality. In 35 minutes, Carpenter proved she was ready to command and conquer a bigger venue for her next solo concert in Singapore.

eras tour setlist video

Thirty minutes after Carpenter's set, it was time for the show to start properly. The countdown before Swift's appearance will forever be etched in my mind; the cheers and screams from the audience at this concert were louder than any other shows I have ever attended. And again, this was before  Swift got onstage.

Swift kicked things off with songs from her Lover era, starting with Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince. Admittedly, Lover isn't my favourite album but it didn't matter as Swift was operating at 110 per cent from the get-go. Her energy was infectious and it was honestly hard to look away from her iconic bedazzled Versace bodysuit that has since become a calling card of The Eras Tour.

eras tour setlist video

As one would expect from Swift, her vocals were on point. In fact, they were unwavering. Not once during the three-and-a-half-hour show did Swift's voice show any weakness. Couple that with the choreography and instrument playing she did and it was clear that Swift has further evolved as a bona fide entertainer since her last Singapore concert in 2015.

My favourite performance that night was undoubtedly Swift's mash-up of I Don't Wanna Live Forever and Dress. Swift punctuated every line with raw emotion while deftly playing the piano. That, for me, was peak Taylor Swift.

eras tour setlist video

The set designs also deserved praise for elevating each era's themes. For instance, Swift's 2020 release Evermore was an album I had never listened to before this concert. However, its section in The Eras Tour was one of my favourites, thanks to the immersive background videos which highlighted the album's brooding themes. Another worthy mention goes to the Midnights section of the concert because I genuinely thought Swift climbed that ladder up to the clouds.

Swift herself also seemed to genuinely be having fun during the show. She regaled attendees with a story of how her mother grew up in Singapore and later showed her childhood haunts here.  “My mum actually spent a lot of her childhood with her mum and dad and sister growing up in Singapore,” said Swift of her mother Andrea Swift.

She even acknowledged the overseas fans who flew in for the concert, asking them to "make some noise".

The full setlist of Swift's first The Eras Tour show in Singapore is as follows:

Lover Era 1. Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince 2. Cruel Summer 3. The Man 4. You Need To Calm Down 5. Lover 6. The Archer Fearless Era 7. Fearless 8. You Belong With Me 9. Love Story

Evermore Era 10. 'Tis The Damn Season 11. Willow 12. Marjorie 13. Champagne Problems 14. Tolerate It

Concert or fashion show? What Swifties are wearing to The Eras Tour

All in all, Swift delivered everything she set out to do with this show. Fans around me were on their feet most of the time, singing along to every song and having a great time. And then, we have yours truly who left the concert with an appreciation of Swift's newer works, specifically songs from Evermore and Midnights.

Was it a perfect concert? Almost. The National Stadium's acoustics and sound system continue to be the bane of performances there, this time causing an echoey effect at certain parts of the show.

Nonetheless, the first Singapore show of The Eras Tour lived up to the gargantuan hype surrounding it. If the remaining five shows continue having this level of quality, suffice it to say, The Eras Tour will go down as one of the best concerts of 2024 in Singapore.
