About The Judds :
Wynonna and Naomi Judd brought a fresh acoustic sound to country music, with unmistakable harmonies surrounding Wynonna’s powerful lead vocals. The Judds are often celebrated for a rarely interrupted stretch of 14 No. 1 hits when every single of theirs released by RCA landed in the Billboard Top 10; and a career that defined what it means to be individualists in the music business. The Judds dominated touring in the 80s with 20 Top 10 hits, have sold more than 20 million albums and blazed a trail for duos and women who have followed them. Together, The Judds have 16 Gold, Platinum and multi-Platinum albums and longform videos, led by 2x Platinum albums Why Not Me and The JuddsGreatest Hits . Their stripped-back style revived the popularity of acoustic sounds in country music and opened up the genre for more traditional approaches.

Wynonna Judd Announces That The Judds’ Final Tour Will Continue in 2023
The Judds: The Final Tour will continue into 2023 with 15 just-announced dates. Wynonna Judd announced the new leg of performances during a stop on The Today Show on Monday (Oct. 24), explaining that she decided to add a new string of dates thanks to fan demand.
Just like the first run of the The Judds ' Final Tour, Judd will take the stage alongside a revolving cast of some of country music's brightest-shining female stars. Ashley McBryde , Brandi Carlile , Kelsea Ballerini , Little Big Town and Martina McBride are all confirmed to return for round two of the trek, which launches Jan. 26 with a stop in Hershey, Penn.
"I have never felt so overwhelmed by this much love and support!" Judd says of her concert dates thus far and her decision to expand the tour. "The emotions that flow while listening to the different generations of fans sing back to me each night has been otherworldly."
Judd also related that The Judds' Final Tour so far has created some of the best memories onstage she's ever made over the course of her almost four-decade-long career. This tour, she adds, has been a particularly poignant way to honor her mother and Judds bandmate Naomi Judd , who died by suicide at the age of 76 earlier this year. The Judds had announced their 2022 tour prior to Naomi's death, and in the wake of that unexpected tragedy, Judd reconfigured the tour as an all-star girls' night that both celebrates the Judds' lengthy career and serves as a remembrance of her mother.
"The decision to add 15 more shows was a no-brainer for me," Judd goes on to say. "The fans have been such a gift during my time of grieving and honoring my mother in song. What an amazing season this is. I look so forward to continuing the celebration of the music that has changed my life forever."
Tickets for the new dates on the trek go on sale to the general public starting Friday, Oct. 28 at 10AM local time. Additionally, Citi cardholders will have access to a presale beginning Monday (Oct. 24) at 10AM local time, and there's a fan presale that starts at 12PM that day, too.

“The fans have always been my family of choice. I love them dearly, so I’m chompin’ at the bit to belt out our hits and reconnect with them once again. The cherry on top is singing with my beloved, wild and extremely talented daughter … the best singer of any genre, Wynonna!” Naomi said in a statement. “She asked me if I was still going to twist, twirl and crack jokes. I answered, ‘Heck yeah! I’m too old to grow up now!’” “What I’m looking forward to most is celebrating Judd music with the fans. Mom and I have had quite the journey over the last 38 years, and the fans have been with us through it all,” Wynonna added. “This tour is a celebration for them!” “The Judds were my very first concert and this is a full circle moment for us,” Sandbox Entertainment president/CEO Jason Owen said via a statement. “Launching Sandbox Live with The Judds The Final Tour makes perfect sense. The Judds – The Final Tour in Tampa
Originally, The Judds Final Tour was to be starring Naomi and Wynonna Judd for a final tour in 2022. Unfortunately, due to the heartbreaking circumstances of the passing of Naomi Judd, Wynonna bravely decided to carry on with the tour and it became a tribute to Naomi. The tour originally was going to be eleven dates across the country and Wynonna decided to add dates in 2023. With the help of such great country artists as Martina McBride, Little Big Town, Kelsea Ballerini, Tanya Tucker and Brandi Carlile to support Wynonna in carrying on with the tour that must have seemed like an unimaginable task.
Tampa’s Amalie Arena was the second to last stop for the tour. Brandi Carlile was on board as a special guest and Martina McBride opened the show with the first set. Dressed in black sequined jacket and matching multi-colored sequined pants, McBride performed many of her number one hits including opening with “My Baby Loves Me”, “Blessed”, “A Broken Wing” and she concluded with her signature song, “Independence Day”. Ms. McBride was the original supporting act for the tour and thanked Wynonna for including her. Martina received the Academy of Country Music Icon award in 2019.
Wynonna arrived on stage with guitar in hand, lace blouse and black jacket with a cover of Elvis’ “Had A Dream (For the Heart)” that was a hit for the Judds as their debut single in 1983! For “Girls Night Out”, Martina and Brandi joined her on the 1985 charting number one. A fun number with the ladies. Brandi Carlile, besides having a great voice, is a bundle of energy, twirling and dancing around the stage. The upbeat Judds tune “Rockin’ with the Rhythm of the Rain” followed by the 1984 single “Love Is Alive”.
Lighting, sound and graphics were some of the best. Wynonna and three members of her band along with Brandi and brother Jay Carlile on background vocals took to the stage for an acoustic set that included a haunting, beautiful version of “Guardian Angels” with photos of Naomi floating on the big screen. “Love Can Build a Bridge” is particularly touching with Naomi and Wynonna singing together via big screen technology.
Wynonna’s voice is amazing. Though Naomi is a huge part of this tribute, Wynonna is sounding better than ever. Both diehard Judds fans and Wynonna fans were there in droves. She brought out some of her solo hits along with a video package from the 90’s of her going out on her own. She country rocked it on “Rock Bottom”. She was emotional about the tour coming to an end but talked about how she had to do it to keep going and how much she appreciated the fans and friends holding her up during this time. The encore was a trio of Judds tunes and she closed with “Why Not Me” with Brandi Carlile and Martina joining in. This was a beautiful show, tribute to Naomi and great music. Wynonna can be proud by honoring her mother’s legacy and hopefully will tour on her own in the future.

Videos by American Songwriter
Names on the star-studded line-up include Ashley McBryde, Brandi Carlile, Kelsea Ballerini, Little Big Town and Tanya Tucker. Martina McBride is set to continue her run as a special guest on all upcoming tour dates.
“What I can think of to say is that I am looking so forward to being out on the road again, and that I am absolutely thrilled to have my friends joining me for this next tour,” said Wynonna in a statement. “I’m so grateful to the fans that they want more and I’m anxious to be with everybody again.”
Wynonna started the tour in honor of her late mother, Naomi, earlier this year. After an overwhelming demand from fans, she decided to add 15 more dates to the run.
“I have never felt so overwhelmed by this much love and support!” Wynonna said at the time. “The emotions that flow while listening to the different generations of fans sing back to me each night has been other-worldly. I am so humbled by every artist that has come to sing with me on this tour. They’ve all managed to bring something so unique to The Judds music and I can say that no two shows are the same.”
She continued, “It has been so life-giving! The decision to add 15 more shows was a no-brainer for me. The fans have been such a gift during my time of grieving and honoring my mother in song. What an amazing season this is. I look so forward to continuing the celebration of the music that has changed my life forever.”

How Tampa partied with Pitbull, Enrique Iglesias and Ricky Martin: Review
- Gabrielle Calise Times staff
TAMPA — The Pitbulls roamed Amalie Arena long before the music started, snapping photos in aviator shades and rubbing each other’s bald heads. They cackled at each other in line for T-shirts and shimmied together in the stands, waving glow sticks down below at the other Pitbulls seated on the floor.
OK, none of these impersonators were the real Pitbull. Mr. 305, aka Mr. Worldwide, aka Armando Christian Pérez, wouldn’t appear onstage until later that evening. But it was hard to miss the groups of mostly female fans who arrived on the final night of the Trilogy Tour in latex caps and blazers, looking just like you-know-who.
Pitbull has long reigned as the musical equivalent of Guy Fieri, a legit star in his field who also happens to be a living, walking, group costume-inspiring meme . But if Sunday night’s electrifying performance in Tampa proved anything, it’s that he has the talent to back it up, too. So did his other co-headliners of the evening: Ricky Martin and Enrique Iglesias.
Three of the bestselling Latin artists of all time teamed up for one sensational show. Drawing from over 90 collective years of experience in the music industry, each singer had their own moment to shine. Here’s a breakdown of each performance in order of appearance.
Ricky Martin showed Tampa how to “Shake Your Bon-Bon”
Ricky Martin kicked off the show as exuberant as ever, with the gusto of the Energizer Bunny and a pair of baggy pants that could make MC Hammer jealous.
The Puerto Rican singer, 52, bounced between Spanish and English hits, from “Maria” to “She Bangs” and “Livin’ La Vida Loca.” He only slowed down for a ballad once during “Vuelve,” swaying in an open white trench coat with his six-pack on display.
Those muscles weren’t just for show. Not only did Martin spend the better part of an hour flinging himself up flights of stairs and dancing across a long catwalk — he did it with his microphone on. His voice sounded richer than it did on his albums, never once out of breath.

When Martin wasn’t shaking his hips, he was cheering on the seven backup dancers who sashayed and backflipped around him. He spent his set blowing fistfuls of kisses to fans all the way up in the 300 level. They returned the love, waving Puerto Rican flags and chanting along to 1998 FIFA World Cup anthem “The Cup of Life.”
Un, dos, tres! Olé, olé, olé!
Pitbull brought the party
“I remember my freaky, wild, crazy nights in Tampa,” Pitbull told the crowd. “The clubs in Ybor City. But it was always a good time. Especially because there was no social media.”
During his hourlong set, the 43-year-old rapper gave Tampa an idea of those times, turning the arena into a pulsing club — or perhaps a rager at a “hotel, motel, Holiday Inn.”
He repped his Miami area code — “305 til I die!” — and shouted or rapped his catchphrase, “ Dale ,” at least 24 times. He led a mini Spanish lesson before covering “Gasolina” by Daddy Yankee. There was fist-pumping and pelvic thrusting and booty-smacking. Meanwhile, Pitbull’s six sexy backup dancers, The Most Bad Ones, gyrated in checkered bodysuits resembling flags from this weekend’s Grand Prix .
Pitbull stuffed his hour with 15 hits and covers, dancing in a cowboy hat during “Timber” and commanding the crowd to drop it to the floor with his T-Pain joint “Hey Baby.” In between his raunchiness, Pitbull repeated his most profound lyrics with the gravitas of an evangelical preacher.
“Believe me: Been there, done that,” he said before “Time of Our Lives.” “But every day above ground is a great day. Remember that.”
Indeed, there was a purpose behind the partying. Pitbull reminded the audience of his own unexpected path: a high school dropout who went on to open over a dozen K-12 schools across the country . Some Tampa students and teachers from his program were even there on Sunday, he shared.
“I come from a city full of dope dealers,” Pitbull said. “And I became a hope dealer.”
Enrique Iglesias closed with a steamy show
Enrique Iglesias wandered on stage looking stiff as he started with “Tonight (I’m Lovin’ You).” He stared out from under his baseball cap with wide eyes, lips out of sync with the backing track. Then he stumbled forward, almost face-planting as he sprinted to the end of the stage.
Was something wrong with his in-ear monitor? Or was he getting emotional as he closed out the final evening of the Trilogy Tour?
Regardless, the crowd didn’t seem to care, swaying and singing along with glee.
Iglesias, 48, did warm up after his first few songs. Unlike his predecessors, he had no flashy dance moves, backup dancers or outfit changes. Instead, he mingled with fans in the front row during “Duele el Corazón,” sidling up to try on their hats or share his microphone with people who screamed back every word.
He zoomed through fans on the floor to a smaller stage at the other end of the arena. From there, he could properly serenade his spectators in the back. It was magical.
“This is Debbi [James], my wife on stage,” he said, introducing a backup singer to the audience before “Loco.” “ Only on stage.”
Iglesias crouched in between James’ knees as she sat to sing with him. The pair drew closer together as the song continued, near enough to kiss on the mouth. At one point, they actually did.
When Iglesias launched into “I Like It,” his 2010 hit featuring Pitbull, Mr. Worldwide was nowhere to be found. But Iglesias still kept the energy high, beckoning ferociously to his audience to make sure they were waving along.
As fans batted giant balloons during the final song, “Bailando,” Iglesias sunk to his hands and knees in a pile of confetti.
“Tampa, I f--king love you,” he said. “Thank you.”

Alexandra Forsterling Seals Third LET Title With Victory in Tampa
The thunderbirds named founding partner of ford championship presented by kcc.

- Tournament News
Alexandra Försterling fired a final round of 67 (5) to secure a three-shot victory at the Aramco Team Series Presented by PIF – Tampa.
The German star sat in a share of second place overnight and started well making a birdie on the second hole. Back-to-back birdies on the sixth and seven put Försterling in front before she dropped a shot on the eighth.
However, on the back nine, she remained calm and collected rolling in birdies on 12, 13 and 16 to stay in front and win her third title on the Ladies European Tour (LET) with a total of -12.
“I feel overwhelmed,” she said. “I don’t know what to say! It’s an amazing feeling, I was definitely nervous like you always are in a final round, but I just tried to learn from the last times when I won and just play my game, adjust to the wind and have fun.
“I really tried to stay patient and really have fun and just stay in the moment and not think ahead and not think about the past. That’s what I try every single round.”
Försterling was playing alongside Solheim Cup stars Carlota Ciganda and Charley Hull at Feather Sound Country Club. With this victory, the 24-year-old has moved into the second automatic spot for the European Team at the 2024 Solheim Cup.
She explained: “I was a little bit intimidated at the beginning, it’s great to play with those two [Charley and Carlota], they play so well and just to try and keep up with them. It was really fun.
“It would be a great honour to play in the Solheim Cup and represent Europe. It would be amazing and mean a lot to me.”
England’s Hull finished in outright second place on nine-under-par after a final round of 71 (-1) in Tampa. The three-time LET winner was unable to add another victory to her name, but she has two starts in LET events in 2024 and finished second in both of them.
“It was good, I played pretty solid,” said Hull. “It wasn’t the result that I wanted with another second-place finish! It was one of those weeks, but I feel good. It was very tricky with the wind, I hit some good shots in and they just bounced off but I played pretty solid today.”
England’s Bronte Law had a final-day surge firing a round of 67 (-5) to finish in third place on eight-under-par. Law, who won the 2024 Lalla Meryem Cup, rolled in birdies on the first and sixth holes as well as three on the trot on holes 15, 16 and 17.
“I played some good golf this week, but just didn’t really hole many putts,” said Law. “My last round, the mindset that I’m having at the moment is where I’m just going for it. I had that message from Ian Woosnam this morning saying just go for everything, no one remembers who finishes second. I went for it. I had a couple of putts I knew I could have done with but I kept pushing anyway.
“I knew it was playing tough. Some days they drop, some days they don’t. They dropped in Morocco, and I gave it as good of a chance as I could today. It’s always fun when you have a chance to have a go and it shows where I’m at at the moment with my game, which is good.”
Spanish duo Ana Peláez Trivino and Carlota Ciganda ended the week in a share of fourth place on seven-under-par. Five players finished in a tie for sixth place with France’s Nastasia Nadaud, Switzerland’s Chiara Tamburlini, India’s Diksha Dagar, Belgium’s Manon De Roey and Germany’s Aline Krauter all on six-under-par.
The LET now has a two-week break before heading to Australia for the Women’s NSW Open which takes place March 29-31 at Magenta Shores Golf & Country Club.
