Welcome to Kenya

You will arrive Jomo Kenyatta International airport and private transportation will take you to your luxury hotel in Nairobi where you can rest and relax.

Pick up from your hotel at 1800hrs for dinner at the Nyama Choma Ranch Restaurant where you will be served all can eat game meat and watch Safari Cats show.

Overnight at a 5* hotel in Nairobi.

Nairobi City Tour

Breakfast will be served at your 5* hotel.

Visit the Giraffe Centre. You will get extremely up close and personal to the world’s tallest species! Upon the feeding platform, the giraffes will love to interact with you, reaching out with their long, inquisitive tongues in hope of a treat.

Visit David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust (DSWT) Elephant Nursery in Nairobi National Park provides a safe haven to orphaned baby elephants rescued by the DSWT.

Lunch at Cultiva Farm.

Visit Bomas of Kenya where you will experience the rich diversity of Kenyan traditional music and dance in our daily cultural performances which consist of over 50 dances from different ethnic communities.

Evening at your own leisure.

Amboseli National Park

Breakfast will be served in your hotel before checking out.

Drive to Amboseli National Park. On arrival you will check into you hotel in time for lunch.

Spend the afternoon relaxing and in the evening start your safari with a majestic evening game drive.

Dinner and Overnight at your hotel in Amboseli National Park.

How does breakfast in the wild sound? Today get to start your day with a bush and champagne breakfast with the view of Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Thereafter, you will proceed for a full day game drive in search of the Big Five and lots of elephants as Amboseli is known for Home of Elephants.

You will then head back to the luxury resort for dinner and an overnight stay.

Amboseli – Maasai Mara National Park

After breakfast, you will check out and proceed to Airstrip to board your flight to Masai Mara via Nairobi.

Dream of Africa and chances are that you dream of the Masai Mara. You will check in to your luxury resort and lunch will be served.

You can have a relaxing afternoon as you prepare for the next few days searching for the big five and enjoying the Masai Culture.

Enjoy a sundowner at the Mara. Dinner & overnight at your luxury camp.

Masai Mara Game Reserve

Today get to start your day with a bush breakfast or hippo breakfast where you can watch the sunrise and after proceed for a full day game drive in search of the Big Five as you anticipate to watch the crossing of the wildebeest.

A picnic lunch will be provided.

In the afternoon, you will visit the Masai Cultural Village to be immersed in the culture of the Maasai people.

Pick up at 0600hrs for an early morning game drive at Masai Mara. Enjoy the Masai Mara’s Hot Air Balloon with the sunrise as you watch the animals from above (Own cost).

Breakfast will be served before checking out.

You will be transferred to the Mara Airstrip to board the flight back to Nairobi.

Evening at leisure. Overnight in Nairobi.

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel in Nairobi, with some free time to enjoy your last day.

Important things to note

• We will provide you with a list of accommodation options based on your budget and any preferences you provide to us once your trip is confirmed – this gives you the opportunity to select the hotel that best suits your taste.
• You must have a passport to travel to Kenya – Passport valid for a minimum of 6 months after your arrival date and have a least one blank page
• This itinerary features some long travel days, which can be exacerbated by bumpy African roads. It is recommended that you pay close attention to the given approximations of driving hours.
• As the early bird catches the worm, the early camper sights the animals. There will be many early starts either to make use of the better safari time or to beat the morning traffic on long travel days.
• Yellow fever: A valid international certificate of vaccination against Yellow Fever is required in many countries if you are arriving from a country with risk of yellow fever (eg. Kenya). You may need to present this on arrival at the airport or border crossing. Some countries will refuse entry if you are unable to present your certificate. It’s also quite common for your home country to request a Yellow Fever certificate on your arrival back home. It is your responsibility to check with your doctor well in advance of leaving home about the Yellow Fever requirements for the countries you’ll be visiting.
• It is best to avoid dark coloured clothes such as blue and black while on safari. These colours can attract the biting tsetse fly.
• You do not need any real fitness for this safari. However please note that, in some areas, the roads are in quite poor condition and you may experience a fair amount of bouncing around which can be strenuous.
• Bush meals and Sundowners require a minimum of 6people.

If something goes wrong

• All deposits are non-refundable, however, you can transfer your deposit to a future trip of your choice.
• If you’re over 60 days away from departure, switching to another trip is easy! Simply send an email to your trip coordinator and move your payment balance over to another trip of your choice. Please note if your accommodations have already been booked the property may apply penalties – our team will always try to book flexible options ,however, if the property has a strict cancellation policy the credit applied to your account will be less any applicable cancellation fees by the property.
• Cancellations within 30-60 days of your departure date are subject to a 50% cancellation fee of the total amount paid after the deposit. The remaining 50% balance will be applied as a credit towards a future trip.
• Cancellations made within 30 days of the scheduled departure date or less are subject to a 100% charge of the total amount paid after the deposit.

Terms specific for Guests 1.1 Terms applicable to all bookings 1.1.1 Subject to meeting any requirements (such as completing any verification processes) set by YourHost, you can book a Listing available on the YourHost Platform by following the respective booking process. All applicable fees, including the Accommodation Fee, Security Deposit (if applicable), Extra Guest Fee and any applicable Taxes (collectively, “Total Fees”) will be presented to you prior to booking a Listing. You agree to pay the Total Fees for any booking requested in connection with your YourHost booking. 1.1.2 Upon receipt of a booking confirmation from YourHost, a legally binding agreement is formed between you and YourHost, subject to any additional terms and conditions of YourHost that apply, including in particular the applicable cancellation policy and any rules and restrictions specified in the Listing. YourHost will collect the Total Fees at the time of the booking request or upon our confirmation pursuant to our Payments Terms. 1.1.3 If you book a YourHost Service on behalf of additional guests, you are required to ensure that every additional guest meets any requirements set by YourHost, and is made aware of and agrees to these Terms and any terms and conditions, rules and restrictions set by YourHost. If you are booking for an additional guest who is a minor, you represent and warrant that you are legally authorized to act on behalf of the minor. Minors may only participate in an Experience, Event or other YourHost Service if accompanied by an adult who is responsible for them. 1.1.4 YourHost may enable a Guest who is booking a Listing on behalf of one or more additional guests (the “Organizer”) to split the payment of the Total Fees for an eligible booking on a pro-rata basis between the Organizer and at least one other additional guest (each a “Co-Payer”) (the “Group Payment Service”). In order to participate in the Group Payment Service, each Co-Payer must have or register an YourHost Account prior to making a payment. All payments via the Group Payment Service are handled by YourHost Payments and are subject to the Group Payment Terms of Service. 2. Booking Modifications, Cancellations and Refunds, Resolution Center 2.1 Hosts and Guests are responsible for any modifications to a booking that they make via the YourHost Platform, and agree to pay any additional Listing Fees, or Guest Fees and/or Taxes associated with such Booking Modifications. 2.2 Guests can cancel a confirmed booking at any time pursuant to the Listing’s cancellation policy set by YourHost, and YourHost Payments will refund the amount of the Total Fees due to the Guest in accordance with such cancellation policy. Unless extenuating circumstances exist, any portion of the Total Fees due to YourHost under the applicable cancellation policy will be remitted to YourHost by YourHost Payments pursuant to the Payments Terms. 2.3 If YourHost cancels a confirmed booking, the Guest will receive a full refund of the Total Fees for such booking. In some instances, YourHost may allow the Guest to apply the refund to a new booking, in which case YourHost Payments will credit the amount against the Guest’s subsequent booking at the Guest’s direction.In addition, YourHost may impose a cancellation fee, unless the Host has a valid reason for cancelling the booking pursuant to YourHost’s Extenuating Circumstances Policy or has legitimate concerns about the Guest’s behavior, or if guests breaks the house rules sent via whatsapp. 2.4 In certain circumstances, YourHost may decide, in its sole discretion, that it is necessary to cancel a pending or confirmed booking and initiate corresponding refunds and payouts. This may be for reasons set forth in YourHost's Extenuating Circumstances Policy or (i) where YourHost believes in good faith, while taking the legitimate interests of both parties into account, this is necessary to avoid significant harm to YourHost, other Members, third parties or property, or (ii) for any of the reasons set out in these Terms. 2.5 If a Guest who books an Accommodation suffers a Travel Issue as defined in the Guest Refund Policy, YourHost may determine, in its sole discretion, to refund the Guest part or all of the Total Fees in accordance with the Guest Refund Policy. If a Guest who books an Experience, Event or other Host Service suffers a Travel Issue as defined in the Experiences Guest Refund Policy, YourHost may determine, in its sole discretion, to refund the Guest part or all of the Total Fees in accordance with the Experiences Guest Refund Policy. 2.6 If a Guest or YourHost cancels a confirmed booking, and the Guest receives a refund in accordance with the Guest Refund Policy, Experiences Guest Refund Policy, Extenuating Circumstances Policy, or the applicable cancellation policy set by the Host and mentioned in the Listing, after the Host has already been paid, YourHost Payments will be entitled to recover the amount of any such refund from the Host, including by subtracting such refund amount out from any future Payouts due to the Host. 2.7 Except as otherwise set out in these Terms, Members may use the Resolution Center to send or request money for refunds, additional Host Services or Damage Claims related to bookings. You agree to pay all amounts sent through the Resolution Center in connection with your YourHost Account, and your host Payments will handle all such payments. HOUSE RULES We are YourHost and our goal is to make your stay memorable! For us to do so, we would truly appreciate it if you can follow a few simple house rules. This is to ensure that if, for any reason the House Rules cannot be followed, you, our guest, will have the option of canceling the booking along with a penalty fee. Thank you in advance and we truly appreciate your cooperation! ❖ There is a no shoe policy in all the apartments ❖ Please do not rearrange the furniture in the apartment. ❖ For any damages, please let us know and arrange for replacement or repair of the item. ❖ Please be respectful of other residents. Keep noise levels at a minimum level. ❖ Smoking is not allowed in the apartment and nor the balcony. Breaking this rule will result in a $100 fine. You may use the common area around the pool and make sure to discard cigarette butts in the ashtray provided in the event room. ❖ We do not allow any parties, events or loud music in any of the apartments, though if you would like to host a few friends or family, you are very welcome to speak with us about it first. ❖ Please make sure to send copies of visitors ID and name on the WhatsApp group for security reasons & visitors need to leave their identification card at the gate prior to coming in. ❖ If guests are found to have had a party without host permission which results in extra cleaning, guests will be responsible for extra cleaning charges and in the unfortunate event of the disruptions alerting neighbours, GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY without any further notice. A penalty fee of 500$ will imposed ahead of the check out ❖ Do not engage in any illegal activities anywhere on property. Same policy as above applies here. ❖ The pool area is common and other residents are also using the pool. Any indecent conduct, or glassware will not be allowed around the pool. The latest time for social gatherings around the pool is 6pm. There is a fine of 50$ for breaking the pool rules of the property ❖ Any broken or lost key will be subject to a $25 charge per key. ❖ Each apartment is allocated two parking slots. Please park at your designated parking spot. ❖ Guests will be responsible for the conduct of their visitors. Please make sure they are aware of the above house rules.
