Madonna Talks Hospitalization at Tour Stop: ‘It’s a F-cking Miracle That I’m Here’

By Althea Legaspi

Althea Legaspi

Madonna is a week into her resurrected Celebration tour, which was postponed for three months following her battling a bacterial infection . During her tour stop on Saturday in Antwerp, Belgium, she reflected on her hospitalization and return to the road.

“Less than four months ago, I was in a hospital and I was unconscious, and people were thinking, predicting that I might not make it,” she told fans in attendance at the Sportpaleis arena, via fan-shot video footage from the concert. “So, it’s a fucking miracle that I’m here right now. My mother, God bless her, she must be watching over me — she said, ‘Girl, it’s not your time to go.’”

Madonna’s mother died of breast cancer when she was five years old.

Madonna was hospitalized for a ‘serious bacterial infection.’ What does that mean?

Madonna's manager announced June 28 that she'd been hospitalized for a bacterial infection and in the intensive care unit, and that she'd be postponing her upcoming Celebration Tour, leading to questions about the illness that made her so sick.

Dr. Natalie Azar, medical correspondent for NBC News, described how a bacterial infection could cause someone to be admitted to the intensive care unit in a segment aired on TODAY June 29.

What is a bacterial infection?

Bacterial infections are any illnesses caused by bacterial growth or toxins, according to Cleveland Clinic . The most common types of bacterial infections include infections in the lung, urinary tract, skin or GI tract, Azar said.

For example, Salmonella in food can cause a bacterial infection and lead to food poisoning. Lyme disease, which can cause a range of symptoms, is also due to bacteria passed through tick bites . Strep throat is another type of bacterial infection that usually only causes mild illness but can be deadly if it becomes invasive , meaning the bacteria spread to a part of the body where it doesn't normally go.

Bacterial infections can be caused by "harmful bacteria" from a person, animal, an infected substance or another aspect of your environment, or they can be caused by good bacteria getting to a place in your body where it shouldn't be, per the Cleveland Clinic.

People who are most susceptible to bacterial infections include those with diabetes, a weakened immune system, an open wound or those who had surgery recently, Cleveland Clinic noted.

What kind of bacterial infection does Madonna have?

Oseary did not disclose in his announcement what kind of bacterial infection Madonna has. However, Azar speculated that a condition called sepsis may have landed the music legend in the ICU.

"Typically, admission to the ICU would happen if the doctors are concerned that somebody either is perhaps becoming septic or may have sepsis, which is a potentially life-threatening emergency that can happen when your immune response overreacts to an infection," Azar said.

Symptoms of sepsis depend on the kind of infection that led the person to go into sepsis. Bacterial infections are the most common cause of sepsis, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention .

"Bacterial infections are usually the things that will get people the sickest that they can end up in the ICU," Azar explained. A November 2022 study found that 13.6% of all global deaths in 2019 were due to bacterial infections — or about 1 in 7.

"Treatment (for sepsis) would include broad spectrum antibiotics, IV fluids, support of her blood pressure heart rate, all of those things," Azar said.

She added that she thinks Madonna, 64, will have a good prognosis.

"Recovery can sometimes take weeks to month, but the fact that she is such a healthy woman, and that clearly this was treated and treatment (was) instituted early, I think she'll have a very, very good outcome," she said.

Madonna hospitalized with “serious bacterial infection”

Madonna's manager, Guy Oseary, said Wednesday the singer's health was improving after her ICU stay.

"On Saturday, June 24, Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection which led to a several-day stay in the ICU. Her health is improving, however she is still under medical care. A full recovery is expected," Oseary said in a statement.

A source close to Madonna told NBC News Wednesday afternoon Madonna is "out of the ICU and recovering."

Oseary said Madonna would need to "pause all commitments," including her upcoming tour, a 43-date performance highlighting her four decade-long career.

The tour will be rescheduled and have a new start date, Oseary said.

Madonna 'on the road to recovery' after ICU hospitalization, gives tour update

Madonna is on the mend after a bacterial infection left her hospitalized in June. The singer took to Instagram to share plans to reschedule the North American leg on her upcoming tour , moving around 40 concerts.

"I'm on the road to recovery and incredibly grateful for all my blessings in life," she said in a statement shared to Instagram Monday.

"My first thought when I woke up in the hospital was my children," she continued. "My second thought was that I did not want to disappoint anyone who bought tickets for my tour."

The  Celebration tour , which was expected to touch on all segments of Madonna's 40-plus year career, was scheduled to begin in Vancouver July 15.

With her statement, Madonna shared that the North American leg of her tour will be rescheduled and that she plans to kick off the tour in October in Europe instead. No new dates were provided for the North American shows.

"My focus now is my health and getting stronger and I assure you, I'll be back with you as soon as I can," she wrote.

Live Nation confirmed that Madonna had plans to reschedule the tour in an emailed statement to USA TODAY.

The company encouraged fans to hold onto their tickets as they will remain valid for new dates which will be announced "as soon as possible."

Madonna postponed her upcoming Celebration tour initially as she was recuperating from a stay in a New York intensive care unit due to a “serious bacterial infection," late last month.

The superstar’s manager  Guy Oseary  posted a message on Instagram at the time that the singer was expected to make a full recovery.

Madonna: Hospitalized with 'serious bacterial infection,' forced to postpone her tour

“On Saturday, June 24, Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection, which led to a several-day stay in the ICU. Her health is improving, however she is still under medical care. A full recovery is expected,” he wrote. “At this time we will need to pause all commitments, which includes the tour.”

Madonna announced her tour at the beginning of the year, a 35-city run that included Seattle, Phoenix, Chicago, San Francisco, Las Vegas and Washington, D.C., followed by 11 European dates in the fall. After the initial on-sale, second shows were added in several markets to accommodate demand.

Madonna, who turns 65 Aug. 16, last toured in 2019-2020 on her Madame X run, playing small venues for the first time since The Virgin Tour in 1985. While those shows leaned heavily on her 2019 "Madame X" album, the Celebration tour was billed as a career retrospective sure to be filled with the numerous hits that have made her the  most successful female artist  in the history of the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Madonna issued her first official statement on Monday morning (July 10) in the wake of her hospitalization last month with what was described as a “serious bacterial infection.” In an Instagram post, Madonna thanked her fans for all their positive energy, prayers and words of healing as she navigates this health issue, while assuring her followers that she is on the mend.

For now, though, she said, her focus is on her health and getting stronger. “And I assure you, I’ll be back with you as soon as I can!” she promised. “The current plan is to reschedule the North American leg of the tour and to begin in October in Europe.” The post also included a picture of Madonna in which she is staring into the camera while wearing a black long-sleeve t-shirt and sparse makeup.

One of her longtime friends, Donatella Versace, commented on the post, writing, “We are with you all the way, Madonna. Thinking of you and sending you love, power and hugs for a speedy recovery. The world can’t wait to see you on stage again!!! I love you very much.”

Following news of her hospitalization, manager Guy Oseary issued an update on June 24. “Her health is improving, however she is still under medical care,” Oseary wrote. “A full recovery is expected.” At the time, a source close to the situation told Billboard that the singer was already out of the ICU and recovering; Billboard has reached out to reps for Madonna several times since the news broke, but no additional information on her illness or hospitalization has been released to date.

In a statement on Monday, promoter Live Nation confirmed that the first leg of the Celebration tour in North American had been postponed with rescheduled dates to be announced “as soon as possible.” LN encouraged fans to hold onto their tickets for now, as they will be valid when the new dates are announced.

At press time the European leg of the Celebration tour was slated to kick off on Oct. 14 with the first of four nights at the O2 Arena in London; a spokesperson for LN confirmed that the London date will now serve as the tour opener.

Madonna has revealed the “first thought” she had after “waking up in hospital”, as she continues to recover from a recent health scare.

On 28 June, it was announced that the “Like a Virgin” singer had been admitted to the ICU after suffering a “serious bacterial infection.”

Madonna’s longtime manager Guy Oseary announced the news, stating that her live show dates would be postponed while she recovers.

On Monday (10 July), Madonna broke her silence following fan concern regarding her health. She thanked them for their “prayers and words of healing and encouragement”, and opened up about her recent experience in the hospital.

Appearing to confirm reports that she had lost consciousness, Madonna said: “My first thought when I woke up in the hospital was my children.”

She added: “My second thought was that I did not want to disappoint anyone who bought tickets for my tour.

Elaborating, the singer said: “I also didn’t want to let down the people who worked tirelessly with me over the last few months to create my show. I hate to disappoint anyone.”

Madonna assured her fans that her “focus is now my health” and went on to announce when she plans to embark on her delayed tour.

Madonna posts statement about health on Instagram

The Queen of Pop was due to begin The Celebration Tour in Canada on 15 July. The Celebration Tour will feature music from Madonna’s catalogue across four decades, and was scheduled to arrive in the UK in October and December.

Billed as a “one-of-a-kind experience”, the tour is also set to feature special guest Bob the Drag Queen, real name Caldwell Tidicue, across all dates.

The Celebration tour, which is set to run for 84 shows, comes two years after she last toured in 2019 in support of her 14th studio album, Madame X.

In January, Madonna announced the tour, telling fans on Instagram to “come join the party”.

Madonna ‘on road to recovery’ following infection that required intensive care

Singer intends to continue European tour as planned in October, following bacterial infection that hospitalised her last month

Madonna has said she is “on the road to recovery” following a serious illness that left her in intensive care last month, and intends to begin touring again in October.

The singer posted on Instagram:

Thank you for your positive energy, prayers and words of healing and encouragement. I have felt your love. I’m on the road to recovery and incredibly grateful for all the blessings in my life. My first thought when I woke up in the hospital was my children. My second thought was that I did not want to disappoint anyone who bought tickets for my tour. I also didn’t want to let down the people who worked tirelessly with me over the last few months to create my show. I hate to disappoint anyone. My focus is now my health and getting stronger and I can assure you, I’ll be back with you as soon as I can!

She said that her current plan is to reschedule the North American tour that was due to start later this week, and to continue with her European tour as planned, which is scheduled to open 14 October with four nights at London’s O2 Arena before visiting 10 other cities.

On 28 June, her manager Guy Oseary announced: “On Saturday, June 24, Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection, which led to a several-day stay in the ICU. Her health is improving, however she is still under medical care. A full recovery is expected. At this time we will need to pause all commitments, which includes the tour.”

She was discharged from hospital the following day and has been recovering at home in New York.

Her Celebration tour, marking 40 years since her debut self-titled album, intends to take in 45 cities overall, and is a larger-scale venture than her previous tour for the album Madame X, which was performed in a series of theatre residencies.

She was injured during that tour and had a hip replacement following it. “I was in more pain than I’ve ever been in my life,” she later said of the injury. “So, how do I stay in shape? It’s all in your head … It’s called will, it’s called no one’s gonna stop me, and how I stay in shape is no one’s gonna stop me. And how I stay in shape is I don’t believe in limitations.”

Madonna says she’s not feeling well seven days into global Celebration Tour

Madonna has said she is feeling unwell just seven days into her 78-date world tour.

The pop legend, 65, told fans in Antwerp , Belgium , that she wasn’t feeling her best just months after she was forced to postpone the Celebration Tour due to ill health .

In June, Madonna delayed the original start date of her tour after a “serious bacterial infection” led to a several-day stay in intensive care.

The singer posted on Instagram in July, saying she was focusing on “health and getting stronger” and mentioned that the plan was to “reschedule the North American leg of the tour and to begin in October in Europe”.

On Saturday, Madonna got emotional as she recounted her illness that landed her in hospital and left her unconscious.

She spoke about the episode to fans while reflecting on how ill her mother Madonna Louise Ciccone was before she passed away from breast cancer at age 33.

“I had this strange thought,” she said. “I suddenly had sympathy and empathy for my mother. About how lonely she must have felt in the hospital, knowing that she wasn't going to live. And I was given another chance.”

Madonna added: “So I'm very grateful for that.”

“I must tell you, I don't feel very well right now. But I can't complain because I'm alive,” she added.

“Thank God for my children and all of you, and all of your love and support. I really appreciate it.”

“Less than four months ago I was in a hospital, and I was unconscious and people were thinking – predicting – that I might not make it,' she told the audience in another clip posted by the fan.

Madonna fought not to postpone tour dates after health scare: sources

Madonna’s announcement Monday that her Celebration! world tour will now kick off in October in Europe — with the summer North American dates to be rescheduled following her health scare — is the result of a compromise between the singer and her team, sources told Page Six.

“Madonna told everyone she wants to do the whole thing [soon] — but her management team and her insurance company kicked back. There was a bit of a battle raging,” said one insider, adding that Madonna wanted to start the tour much sooner.

However, the insider said, Madonna’s management team as well as the tour’s insurer insisted she put the tour on hold after she was found unresponsive and suffering from a bacterial infection last month, landing her in the ICU .

“While she has some rehearsing still to do, she has been working at it for months and knows exactly what needs to be done,” the insider said. “She is just eager to get out there — as eager as her fans are to see her.”

On Monday, the Material Girl released her first statement since her illness, posting on Instagram: “Thank you for your positive energy, Prayers and words of healing and encouragement. I have felt your love.

“I’m on the road to recovery and incredibly grateful for all the blessings in my life … The current plan is to reschedule the North American leg of the tour and to begin in October in Europe.”

The announcement came a day after Madonna was seen out and about on New York City’s Upper East Side this past weekend.

A friend told Page Six that, while the 64-year-old star is back on her feet, she is still “weak.”

Madonna's Instagram message about her tour

The source added: “She gets exhausted when she walks. She was telling everyone she was well enough to do her US dates — however, no one wanted any sort of relapse and she was essentially overruled.”

Page Six has reached out to Madonna’s reps.

The tour, which the singer has been planning for nearly four years , is now due to start with a date at the 02 arena in London on October 14 – the first of four sold-out dates at the arena — before going on to Belgium, Scandinavia, Spain, Portugal, France and Germany. The North American dates will be postponed until 2024.

“My first thought when I woke up in the hospital was my children . My second thought was that I did not want to disappoint anyone who bought tickets for my tour,” Madonna posted to Instagram. “I also didn’t want to let down the people who worked tirelessly with me over the last few months to create my show. I hate to disappoint anyone.”

The tour, which celebrates Madonna’s greatest hits and her 40 years at the top , was first planned before the pandemic. In the weeks before falling ill, the singer was rehearsing for 12 hours a day.

The tour was due to start on July 15 in Vancouver.

Meanwhile, it has been revealed that the star’s brush with death has made her think about her legacy.

According to The Sun, Madonna has refused to allow her estate to use her image as a hologram, citing the Whitney Houston hologram show which was criticized for being exploitative.

Madonna ending epic ‘Celebration Tour’ with historic free gig in Brazil!

Madonna has announced she will end her ‘Celebration Tour’ with a historic free concert in Brazil.

The Queen of Pop, 65, shared the news on Monday (25.03.24) that the gig, sponsored by Itaú Apresenta, will be held in Rio de Janeiro on 4 May at Copacabana Beach.

A press release said it will be “free of charge as a thank you to her fans for celebration more than four decades of her music over the course of the epic global run of the tour”.

The show will also be broadcast live on TV Globo.

It will mark Madonna’s first concert in Brazil since 2012.

There are no tickets required for the event, which will take place in front of the Belmond Copacabana Palace Hotel, and entry will be available on a first-come first-serve basis.

Before arriving in Brazil, Madonna will perform Dallas before making stops including Houston, Atlanta and Austin.

She is also set to take the stage in Miami for three nights at the Kaseya Center from 6–9 April and will play at Palacio De Los Deportes in Mexico City for five nights.

Madonna’s much-anticipated greatest hits tour started at London’s O2 Arena in October with a two-hour set where she opened up about her road back to the stage after her hospitalisation in 2023 after she suffered a severe bacterial infection.

Referring to her children Lourdes, 27, Rocco, 23, David, 18, Mercy, 18, and twins Stella and Estere, 11, the singer told fans: “I didn’t think I was gonna make it. Neither did my doctors. That’s why I woke up with all of my children sitting around me.”

Madonna added about her recovery from illness: “But the angels were protecting me, and my children were there. And my children always save me every time.”

She said earlier this month about how she was struggling through her tour: “This show every night is not really so hard on me physically. It’s hard on me emotionally because I’m really telling you the story of my life.

“My heart is on my sleeve. I’ve fallen off a lot of horses and broken a lot of bones... but nothing can stop me.”

Madonna Announces Historic Free Concert in Brazil as Final Celebration Tour Show

The Queen of Pop will play in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on May 4 at Copacabana Beach

Madonna  knows "the power of good-bye."

On Monday, the Queen of Pop, 65, announced that she will perform a historic free concert in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on May 4 at Copacabana Beach for her final  Celebration Tour show.

Sponsored by Itaú Apresenta, the concert "will be free of charge as a thank you to her fans for celebration more than four decades of her music over the course of the epic global run of the tour" and will be broadcast live on TV Globo, per a press release. The show will be her first in Brazil since 2012.

There are no tickets required for the event, which will take place in front of the Belmond Copacabana Palace Hotel, and entry will be available on a first-come first-serve basis.

Before heading to Brazil, Madonna is set to perform in Dallas before making stops in Houston, Atlanta, Austin and more. She will also take the stage in Miami for three nights in Miami at the Kaseya Center (April 6-9) and will play at Palacio De Los Deportes in Mexico City for five nights.

The Material Girl kicked off her  long-awaited Celebration Tour  at London's O2 Arena in October with an electrifying two-hour set where she opened up about her  road back to the stage after  her hospitalization last year  following a  serious bacterial infection .

"I didn't think I was gonna make it. Neither did my doctors. That's why I woke up with all of my children sitting around me," Madonna  said of her kids  Lourdes, 27, Rocco, 23, David, 18, Mercy, 18, and twins Stella and Estere, 11. "But the angels were protecting me, and my children were there. And my children always save me every time."

Earlier this month, she opened up about the toll the tour was taking on her.

"This show every night is not really so hard on me physically. It's hard on me emotionally because I'm really telling you the story of my life. My heart is on my sleeve," Madonna said. "I've fallen off a lot of horses and broken a lot of bones ... but nothing can stop me."

The "Ray of Light" artist referenced her health scare last summer, calling it a "near-death experience" and revealed that the "first word" she said was "No" when she woke up from an induced coma after four days.

"I'm pretty sure that was God saying to me, 'Do you want to come? Want to come up with me?  No ,'" Madonna continued, drawing laughs from the audience.

Later, she recalled a conversation she had with her longtime manager, Guy Oseary, while she was in the hospital.

"He said, 'Well, when do you think you want to go back on tour?' I took the oxygen out of my nose. I looked at him, and I said, 'in two f---ing months!" Madonna said. "I just said it. Sometimes you just have to say s--- [and] put it out in the universe. And it happens."

Madonna’s longtime manager, Guy Oseary, announced last week that the 64-year-old performer’s health complications would postpone the launch of her Celebration tour.

“On Saturday June 24, Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection which [led] to a several day stay in the ICU,” Oseary wrote on Instagram . “Her health is improving, however she is still under medical care. A full recovery is expected. At this time we will need to pause all commitments, which includes the tour.”

The iconic musician’s forthcoming worldwide tour — a 43-city run scheduled to begin in Vancouver on July 15 — was announced as a comprehensive trip through her 40-year catalog of era-defining pop hits. It was also billed as an homage to New York City, where the mononymous singer made a name for herself in the downtown club scene.

Madonna was scheduled to play Crypto.com Arena in downtown L.A. on Sept. 27, 28 and 30 and Oct. 1. It is not yet clear how the tour postponement will affect those dates.

Madonna to end Celebration tour with free concert at Brazil’s Copacabana beach

madonna tour illness

RIO DE JANEIRO – Madonna will perform a free mega-concert in May in Rio de Janeiro’s Copacabana beach to close out her Celebration tour, the singer and organisers announced on March 25.

Calling it her “biggest show yet”, a statement on the pop icon’s website said the concert is meant as a “thank you to her fans for celebrating more than four decades of her music”.

Madonna also shared the news on her Instagram and Facebook accounts on March 26.

The 65-year-old American, whose greatest hits include her 1984 classics Like A Virgin and Material Girl, last performed in Brazil in 2012.

The May 4 mega-show will be her only concert in South America under her Celebration tour, which has taken her to more than a dozen countries and is a retrospective of her 40-year career.

Organisers said the show will have similarities with the New Year’s Eve Reveillon parties held on the beaches of Rio.

In 2006, a Rolling Stones show in Copacabana attracted between 1.2 million and 1.5 million people, according to estimates at the time.

The Celebration tour is now in North America, with three April performances in Miami and five in Mexico City, the only Latin American stop before Rio.

Madonna has won seven Grammy Awards and sold more than 300 million records worldwide. AFP

The Rolling Stones pose for pictures

As 2024 enters its second quarter, the music industry is showing no signs of slowing down. Several top artists are planning show-stopping tours throughout the United States — and the world. Here are some of the most highly-anticipated concerts you can attend this coming spring.

Taylor Swift

Why not start with the biggest pop superstar on the planet? Taylor Swift is already getting ready to spin her fans into a frenzy with her upcoming album, "The Tortured Poets Department," and will supplement this by continuing her "Eras" tour — already the most successful concert tour in history. Swift is currently on a hiatus, but the Eras Tour will resume in Paris on May 9 and run through the spring and summer in 12 European countries, including the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Italy, Switzerland and more, before coming back to North America this fall.

Olivia Rodrigo

Another pop sensation, Olivia Rodrigo, is building off the continued hype from her 2023 LP, "Guts." She is now embarking on "The Guts World Tour," the second tour for Rodrigo, who at only 21 already has a slew of Grammy nominations (and several wins) under her belt. This tour has made recent headlines over a contraception controversy surrounding abortion rights groups that promote at her concerts. Rodrigo will perform in seven North American cities through the end of April before heading overseas to Europe in May.

The Rolling Stones

An iconic group from the British Invasion is back with their first concert tour in two years. The Rolling Stones, considered one of the greatest rock bands in history, will embark on their "Hackney Diamonds" tour this April, playing in 16 North American cities through the end of July. Fans of the Stones should expect to "experience Mick, Keith and Ronnie play their most popular hits," the concert tour's page said, as well as hear "fan favorite deep cuts and music from their new album 'Hackney Diamonds.'" The album is the band's first original material in 18 years.

Madonna

Fans of Madonna can celebrate the singer on her aptly-named "Celebration Tour," the pop singer's 12th concert tour that will run through the end of April. Unlike prior tours, this outing is not in promotion of a new album — it is instead described as a "retrospective tour" highlighting Madonna's decades-long career. The tour began in the United Kingdom and made its way through European countries throughout 2023, but is currently running throughout the United States. It is slated to end with a series of five concerts in Mexico City.

Ever since he broke onto the world stage with 2013's "Take Me to Church," Hozier has been generating headlines. 2023 was no different, as Hozier released his successful third LP, and is now following it up with a tour. The tour , named after the album, " Unreal Unearth ," will travel to 28 U.S. cities from April to June before heading to Europe. Once across the pond, Hozier will tour numerous European cities before coming back to the U.S.

Blink-182 may be experts in "All the Small Things," but one thing that isn't small is the rock band's ongoing world tour. The tour comes on the heels of the band's tenth album, "One More Time...," and marks the return of guitarist Tom DeLonge, who had left the band nearly a decade prior. The tour has already produced a "healthy mix of nostalgia and adoration for the recently reunited classic lineup," Variety said. It is currently in South America, where Blink-182 will play shows through mid-April.

Bruce Springsteen

Bruce Springsteen was forced to go on hiatus from his world tour last year after suffering a bout of peptic ulcer disease — but now the Boss (and his E Street Band) is back. Springsteen relaunched his tour on March 19, sending a message to fans days before the show assuring them he was "going to rock you into the ground." Springsteen has since rescheduled the 24 shows he was forced to postpone, and is also slated to play additional shows in Europe and the U.S. throughout March, April and May.

Janet Jackson

Janet Jackson is one of the best-selling music artists of all time, garnering a heap of Grammy Awards and a spot in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Her latest move is the "Janet Jackson: Together Again" tour, a name harkening back to her hit 1997 album "The Velvet Rope." The youngest child of the iconic Jackson family has mainly been touring in the United States, though she has also featured stops in the Pacific. She will perform in the Bahamas in April, then return to the U.S. in May with her first concert at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds.

Chris Stapleton

One of the biggest country music stars in the world is embarking on a U.S. tour to match. Chris Stapleton has begun his 2024 "All-American Road Show" to much fanfare, and it comes in conjunction with his third album, "Higher," being released in November of last year. The 10-time Grammy Award winner started the tour earlier this year, and will be crisscrossing the U.S. throughout the spring. This includes shows in North Dakota, Minnesota, California, Louisiana, Indiana, Florida and more. But the country star isn't limiting his tour to the spring, as Stapleton has a schedule of shows throughout 2024.

Mitski recently added additional tour dates to promote her seventh LP, "The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We," from last year. This means the singer-songwriter will be performing shows in an astounding 15 cities in the U.S., Mexico and Europe from March to May. The tour is the culmination of a meteoric rise; Mitski has recently leveraged the success of her hit single "My Love Mine All Mine," which was her first song to crack the Billboard Hot 100. She is also slated to write music for a Broadway adaptation of the Netflix series "The Queen's Gambit" and counts former President Barack Obama among her fans.
