TWICE are kicking of III with a three-day concert in Seoul at Olympic Park KSPO Dome, that's happening on 25 - 26 December . To celebrate with their global fanbase, their final Seoul show will be livestreamed via Beyond LIVE .

In an announcement made on 17 December, JYP Entertainment shared that TWICE will no longer be pushing through with an in-person concert on 24 December in accordance with new COVID-19 safety protocols and regulations.

"JYPE is doing its best to prepare offline performances that are safe for both audiences and artists by faithfully implementing the social distancing guidelines of relevant government departments and quarantine authorities. However, the performance on December 24 (Friday) was inevitably cancelled due to the limited operating hours of the venue due to strict social distancing guidelines," reads JYP Entertainment's official statement.

TWICE Seoul concerts for their III tour will now happen on 25 - 26 December with the last show livestreamed via Beyond LIVE. Ticket holders for the 24 December concert will be issued a refund. For more information, click here .

TWICE will be livestreaming their final Seoul concert on 26 December at 5 PM KST (3 PM JKT, 4 PM SGT/PHT) via Beyond LIVE .

Geograhy and environment.

South Korea is located at the south end of the Korean Peninsula, between the Sea of Japan and the Yellow Sea. Separated from Japan by the Korean Strait and demarcated from the state of North Korea by Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ), South Korea's terrain is a mix of flat lowlands and forested mountains. The coasts of South Korea are rocky and jagged, with thousands of islands (mostly inhabitable) scattered off the coastline.

Culture and customs

South Korea draws some traditions and customs from other neighboring countries in Asia, with a culture that stems from Confucianism. This system of philosophical and ethical teachings was introduced to South Korea in the 4 th century through Chinese scholars and was quickly embraced by the wider population until it officially became the state ideology in the early 1900s.

Confucianism emphasizes respect for aging, elders and ancestors, an intrinsic hierarchy that runs through work and social life, and upholds traditional family roles so you’ll often see families living together in one house.

During your travels around South Korea, you’ll also see plenty of traditions such as the act of bowing when greeting people, women wearing traditional dress (hanbok) and the practice of taekwondo (Korean martial arts). As well as ancient beliefs, new generations of South Koreans are embracing a modernized culture, one full of K-pop, Korean cosmetics and popular foods like kimchi and tteokbokki.

History and government

South Korea’s had an often turbulent history dating back to around 8000 BC when it was known as just Korea, but the country’s most impactful conflict began in the 1500s with the attempted Japanese invasion. Korea went on to become a Japanese colony in 1910 following its annexation of the Korean Empire, which ended in 1945 at the conclusion of World War II.

The country was then divided into two parts, the northern part which was protected by the Soviet Union and the southern part which was protected largely by the United States. Both the northern and southern parts of Korea officially became North and South Korea in 1948 when the two regions failed to agree on forming one, united government.

In 1950, North Korea set in motion the Korean War which was intended to unify the two countries under communism. But after much destruction to infrastructure and loss of human life, a cease-fire was called in 1953 with both countries signing the 1953 Korean Armistice Agreement. The two countries have since agreed to work towards a final settlement (The Peace Treaty on the Korean Peninsula) to formally and officially end the Korean War.

South Korea now enjoys a fully prosperous economy with a capital economic standing similar to that of countries such as the United States, Japan, and various countries in Western Europe.

K-pop boyband ATEEZ have announced dates for their ‘The Fellowship: Break The Wall’ world tour, which will begin in October and take them to North America, Korea and Japan.

On July 18, the eight-member act shared via their social media accounts that they would be embarking on a new world tour later this year. Titled ‘The Fellowship: Break The Wall’, the tour is set to hit nine cities from South Korea, the US, Canada and Japan from October to December.

The tour will kick off in Seoul, South Korea with two shows on October 29 and 30, before heading to Anaheim, California the following week. The boyband will then go on to perform in several US cities, including Dallas, Chicago and Newark, as well as Toronto, Canada, followed by shows in Chiba, Japan.

Venues and ticketing information have yet to be released. The full list of dates for ATEEZ’s ‘The Fellowship: Break The Wall’ world tour are as follows:

This will mark ATEEZ’s third world tour, after this year’s ‘The Fellowship: Beginning of the End’ tour, which ran from January to May, and 2019’s ‘The Expedition’ tour.

ATEEZ are currently gearing up to make a comeback later this month with their ninth mini-album ‘The World Ep.1: Movement’, which will be the first instalment of the group’s new ‘The World’ series . Led by the single ‘Guerilla’, the seven-track record is due out on July 29 at 1pm KST.

Additionally, ATEEZ are set to perform at this year’s KCON Los Angeles concert , which marks the K-pop festival’s highly anticipated return to in-person events after over two years of online concerts. A celebration of the convention’s 10th anniversary, this year’s KCON LA will take place from August 19 to 21 at the Crypto.com Arena and the LA Convention Center located in downtown Los Angeles.

On November 14, following their online concert “ATEEZ XR Show [FEVER: eXtended edition],” ATEEZ announced the launch of their 2022 world tour, “The Fellowship: Beginning of the End.”

ATEEZ’s previous world tour , “The Fellowship: Map the Treasure,” was cut short in 2020 due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Kpop concerts in Korea this Fall

Attending Kpop concerts in Korea is every Kpop fan’s dream during their time in South Korea. Buying tickets, especially while traveling can be frustrating, and a hassle, and that’s when tours come in and help us on that! I booked through Klook to Attend a Music Show in Seoul and it made my planning so much easier. These exclusive tours are usually only for foreigners as they want to promote tourism within kpop and the areas the concert is held. These are exclusive tickets for foreigners to enjoy the concert closer to the stage. Be sure to read fine prints before booking and see the different options of packages from where they pick up, to different locations the package will guide you through.

INK Concert 2022 (October 1st 2022 )

INK concert is an annual kpop concert, and this year, it is held at the Incheon Munhak Stadium on October 1st, 2022, at 7:00pm. Line up : Mamamoo, Moonbin & Sanha, VIVZ, Golden Child, Kep1er, CIX, Billlie, Drippin, Jo Yuri, EPEX Official Ticket Website: Application page Ticket for packages: INK Concert 2022 Incheon Tour through Trazy (Currently SOLD OUT)

Meet location is at Hongik University Station in Seoul, and includes a round-trip transportation, English speaking tour staff and entry to the INK concert. Since the package is sponsored by the Incheon Tourism Organization so the tickets come with a guided tour of Incheon and Wolmi Island before heading to the concert venue. The tour will begin from 1:00pm and end at 12:00am.

2022 Daegu Powerful K-POP Concert (October 9th)

WORLD EXPO 2030 BUSAN KOREA CONCERT BTS in BUSAN (Oct 15, 2022) – Free Kpop concerts in Korea

WORLD EXPO 2030 BUSAN KOREA CONCERT BTS in BUSAN is a free concert held at the Busan Asiad Main Stadium on October 15th, 2022 at 6pm. It is free because it is supported by the Bid Committee for the World EXPO 2030. Attending free Kpop concerts in Korea is the best way to enjoy Korea!

Line up: BTS Tickets: WORLD EXPO 2030 BUSAN KOREA CONCERT BTS in BUSAN (Even though the concert is free, reservation fees and shipping fees will be charged when reserving tickets) through Interpark.

Join the special SBS MTV The Show in Gyeongju! The Show is the famous K-pop live music TV show broadcast by SBS MTV. On October 18th, this show will be specially taken place in Gyeongju, a beautiful historical city with lots of UNESCO World Heritage sites. The special SBS MTV The Show will be held at the Gyeongju Bomun Tourism Complex Event Venue.

2022 BOF K-Pop Concert (Oct 30, 2022)

Busan One Asia Festival (BOF) is an annual K-pop concert held every year in Busan and is the biggest and largest K-pop event sponsored by the Busan tourism organization. It is held at the Busan Asiad Stadium on October 30th.

2022 Genie Music Awards Ticket is an annual K-pop concert held every year in Incheon and is one of the biggest award shows of the year. It is held at the Busan Asiad Stadium on October 30th.

Should you Visit Korea in November?

Korea in november.

If you are planning on visiting Korea in November and enjoy the scenery between Autumn and Winter, you will need to play close attention to the weather, since the first weeks of November are way different to the last ones. Temperatures on average range from a frigid 3°C to a warm 12°C.

Visiting Korea any time of the year is beautiful, different activities and a great variety of food can be found all year round but visiting during autumn hits different. Visiting Korea in November, get more affordable lodging in areas like Hongdae, activities, festivals and attractions are a little less busy. Avoiding peak touristic months will in a way, enjoy the country’s beauty in a more relaxed way, it's generally a very wonderful time to travel and experience new areas in comfort and serenity. Try to enjoy as much as you can before Christmas vacations kick in.

For the first few weeks, the weather is still quite pleasant, and there are even some days when it's rather warm, perfect to rock a pair of jeans and a nice and cozy hoodie. But don’t let a warm day fool you, the temperatures might drop dramatically from one day to another after mid-November, so it is always better to be prepared with warmer clothing and coats.

November does have some rain, and if you are lucky enough you might get a glance of seen snow in Seoul at the end of the month, but surely if you want to feel and see snow you can surely do so at Gangwon-do. Comparing it with Seoul, Gangwon-do is frequently much cooler, with temperatures around -3°C to 7°C.

What to see?

During the first half of November, Korea offers a limited amount of limited-edition autumn excursions before winter takes over as the new season. As well a variety of activities, such as the “Chrysanthemum Festival” in the “Garden of Morning Calm” , the “Jade Garden” , or stopping by the abandoned rail tracks, will give you a unique happiness.

Historical Tour in Gyeongju

Gyeongju is a historical city, capital of the Silla Dynasty and still has artifacts of it display. Here you will have a chance to enjoy the beauty of Buddhist statues, palaces, imperial tombs, and temples. A whole variety of amazing places you can choose from. A must is definitely “The Bulguksa Temple” (The red-orange foliage of the trees that surround the Bulguksa temple in the autumn gives the monument a genuine appearance.), “Seokgoram Cave” , and “Anapji Pond” .

Naejangsan Mountain

This marvel of nature is as stunning in the fall, winter, spring, and summer, no matter which season you chose, it is breathtaking. "The mountain that hides many mysteries," Naejangsan Mountain is located in the province of Jeolla. Along with the landscape's predominant crimson foliage, “Dodeok Falls” and “Geumseon Falls” round out the breathtaking scene. “The Baekyangsan Temple” stands in the center of this natural wonder, just between two mountains, giving it the feeling of a mythical place. Definitely a picture you should at to your travel album!

Seoul Lantern Festival

From the first Friday in November until the third week in November, Seoul has its annual lantern festival. Up till Cheonggye Plaza and Supyogyo Bridge, lanterns are lit up along the Cheonggyecheon Stream and additionally, it consistently emphasizes a particular topic each year.

The festival includes a number of enjoyable activities in addition to the display of lanterns, like hanging a wish lantern, creating your own lantern, or even writing a New Year's wish note. And lest not forget all the delicious street food Korea has to offer and witness amazing parades that light up Seoul at night!

This is a great 'introduction' trip to Korea if you're not inclined to discover the country independently. Due to the "hilliness" of Korea, it is not ideal for people with mobility issues or over a certain age/fitness.

Helena was a good guide and knew a lot about South Korea. She is fluent in Korea , Spanish and English. The tour overall was good, the accommodation was very good and the food that was included was good as well. Only suggestions would be to have a tour for English speaking tourists and Spanish tourists on separate weeks. I found it difficult to keep up with what was happening or where we were going as 3/4 of the time it was all in Spanish for the Spanish speaking tourists and then the few of us who could only understand English had to wait to the end to hear a small amount in English. Also would have loved to spend more time in Busan - there were so many attractions in Busan we should have discovered. Maybe even add in a Korean Karaoke Night to the tour and offer tours based on age - i.e 18-40 and 40+, this would have made the group more suitable for the different age groups and fitness levels. But overall I cannot fault the tour guide. She was prompt and spoke very well, and knew what she was talking about. I’ve been on tours overseas where the guide is guessing and making assumptions when asked questions from tourists. But Helena knew what she was talking about, she knew her country’s history.

12-Day South Korea Adventure: From Seoul to Jeju Island

The tour is fun. You get to see the sea, mountains, islands, baby volcano. I loved K-Pop class, taekwando class, hiking to Seoroksan mountains, party yacht tour in Busan, tangerine garden in Jeju. Our guide, Damien was always friendly to us and gave all the time good recommendations on food, places to visit at our free time. Just loved it.

Even the traditional hanok style stay followed by the Temple stay was timed well. The guide was humorous and down to earth while also sharing cultural and historical information that represented South Korea professionally and personally. The access to street food in Myeongdong was very wise. It let us literally taste contemporary South Korea so that our taste buds were primed to explore more as the tour continued.

I would strongly encourage and recommend this tour. It provides a good sample of the major cities and attractions around South Korea that you might not be able to see on your own. The logistics of moving from city to city and meals and hotels would be distracting. I know that I liked and appreciated how Culture Tour had that all figured out and it happened without a hiccup. Great sights to see. Wonderful food to eat. I experienced such a varied lifestyle from city to city. Book it!

Exploring South Korea

A trip of a lifetime !!. We had the most incredible tour guide Damien who has the most warm energy always willing to answer and help out. The intenary was amazing as well I feel that there was something for everyone. I only wished we would have done the cruise to Jeju island and spent more time there but of course, I think that the flight arrangement after it wasn't possible was prompt and very efficient. I enjoyed this trip and feel very lucky to have had the most incredible professional and fun tour guide who we will always remember and a lovely tour group.

Korean World Heritage Adventure 10D/9N

Was good to see so much of South Korea in a short time. Overall I enjoyed the tour. Didn’t get to enter the DMZ due to tickets being sold out but the schedule had been reduced due to COVID. Also the joint security area has been open to public for a few years and that was what I really wanted to experience, so after learning that it wasn’t so much of a loss. The accommodation varied some good, some fabulous (oh my gosh the Grand Hyatt in Jeju was incredible). If you’re vegan or vegetarian it will be difficult for you to eat (and your tour guide may not care so much depending on who you get). It would be nice if we had more idea of what’s around us when we get dropped at our hotel - e.g., any suggestions of what would be worth seeing in the area. Also eating options (where English speakers can interpret the menu and communicate with staff)- often we would just go to a 7/11 and buy sandwiches or sushi and crackers! Highlights: Visiting the temples where the monks are, underground lava caves in Jeju and the Myeong Dong and Namdaemun markets in Seoul. Will definitely return to South Korea again…

CLASSIC SOUTH KOREA LUXURY TOUR

The whole trip was extremely well organised from start to finish. Could not fault anything with regards to the guides we had, cars were very comfortable and clean. Hotel standard and location in Seoul was great. The hotel in Jeju was in a great location as well but the interior was a bit dated to be rated as a four star accommodation. The guides were great in introducing us to different foods of the regions and we classified this trip as a sightseeing and culinary tour. We would highly recommend anyone to do this private tour for two.
