It's time to dust off those scoring paddles and get those dancing shoes ready, because the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour is back for 2024!  Strictly legends Shirley Ballas, Anton Du Beke, and Craig Revel Horwood return to take up their judging seats and It Takes Two ’s Janette Manrara is back as tour host.

The Strictly Live Tour will dazzle audiences on the 3rd and 4th of February 2024 at Manchester's AO Arena. Celebrities and professional dancers joining the tour will be announced soon.

Strictly’s Head Judge Shirley Ballas said: “I’m delighted to be judging the Strictly Live Tour once again - there is never a dull moment alongside Anton and Craig! The audiences are always electric, the atmosphere is amazing, and Anton has promised me lots of surprises! I can’t wait for January next year when we get the show on the road!”

Anton Du Beke said: "It was my first Strictly tour earlier this year and I was blown away by the scale and spectacle of the live experience. So, I'm thrilled to be back with all the gang next year and look forward to another incredible tour."

Craig Revel Horwood said: “What better way to start the new year than with the Strictly Live Tour! It’s going to be gorgeous to be back on the road with Shirley, Anton, and Janette. Joining us to entertain you all will be an A-MAZ-ING line-up of celebrities and professional dancers from this year’s series. And, as you would expect, we will have a few extra special surprises in store for the arena audiences along the way. One word, three syllables - FAB-U-LOUS!”

Janette Manrara said: “What an incredible way to kick off 2024! I am always so honoured to host the live tour as it brings everything that viewers love about the Strictly TV show to thousands of people around the UK. It’s a great night out for all the family - I just can’t wait!”

Strictly Come Dancing returned to BBC One and BBC iPlayer on Saturday 16 September for its 21 st series with an all-new exciting celebrity and pro dancer line-up and an array of incredible dance routines. Strictly's Live Tour celebrates all the joy of the TV series, showcasing the amazing choreography and fantastic live music that Strictly is synonymous with – providing audiences of all ages up and down the country the opportunity to experience everything they love about the TV show live on stage in their hometown or city.

Not only are the arena audiences treated to the spectacular roof-raising routines, but they are also granted the power to decide who wins the coveted Glitterball Trophy at the end of each show. The tour judges will of course provide their invaluable wisdom, advice and scores at each performance - we couldn’t stop them if we tried - but the ultimate power lies with the audience. A text for their favourite couple is all it takes; their votes will decide who wins!

As with the 2023 tour, each performance will host a British Sign Language interpreter, who will be displayed on two very large screens on either side of the stage so that audiences can book tickets and sit almost anywhere in the arena to enjoy the experience with family and friends.

Strictly's Dianne Buswell reveals good part of touring without celebrities

"This is a chance for us to show everyone what we're really about."

Promoting the newly announced Strictly Professionals UK Tour on The One Show , which kicks off on Wednesday, May 1, in Oxford, Buswell teased: "There's 12 of us amazing professional dancers obviously touring up and down the UK, doing what we do best, which is dancing.

"But it feels really personal to us because this is a chance for us to show everyone what we're really about."

The choreographer, who made it to last year's Strictly grand final alongside Bobby Brazier , went on to elaborate: "We're so up-close-and-personal with our audience, and I feel like they feel really, you know, they get to be very close to us. They usually see us on a TV screen, and then we're all of a sudden in touching distance.

"So it's really cool to see their faces and be so close to them."

What unites board game lovers, Strictly super fans and murder mystery buffs? Why, only the news that Cluedo 2 has extended its UK tour.

Starring 2023 Strictly Come Dancing champion Ellie Leach, this new stage play began its run in February, and has already added an extra 12 venues to its year-long schedule.

The show will now be coming to theatres in Bromley, Leeds, Guildford, Blackpool and more this autumn, bringing audiences all the joy and thrills of a classic whodunnit.

“I’ve really enjoyed bringing Miss Scarlett to life on stage,” said Leach. “It’s so much fun to perform this iconic character and to see audiences of all ages having such a good time at every show, so I’m really thrilled to be extending the tour.”

Meanwhile, Casualty’s Jason Durr, who is playing Colonel Mustard, said: “I’m delighted to be continuing Cluedo 2. The audience reaction during our first few weeks of performances has been fantastic and I can’t wait to bring this hilarious whodunnit to many more audiences around the UK.”

More like this

Following on from the original Cluedo stage play, which toured the UK in 2022, this next chapter has also come straight from the mind of Mark Bell – director of The Play That Goes Wrong and A Comedy About A Bank Robbery. It is likewise based around the iconic Hasbro board game and features all the hallmarks of a murder mystery: shifty characters, multiple motives, and a sneaky butler skulking around.

So, whether you’re Marple mad or you miss Ellie Leach’s Paso Doble, here’s how you can get tickets to the show at a venue near you.

Buy Cluedo 2 tickets at ATG Tickets

Love Agatha Christie? So do we. Here’s the best murder mystery experiences , plus our review of Witness for the Prosecution .

What is Cluedo 2 about?

Landscape Poster

Much like the original stage play, Cluedo 2: The Next Chapter takes the bones of the classic Hasbro board game and turns it into a comedic Christie-esque murder mystery. This time around, the story is being pulled into a new setting – the swinging '60s – with a new murder and a whole new set of suspects.

Here’s the official synopsis:

"Rock n roll legend Rick Black has not had a hit for years and he’s broke. But as he settles into his brand new, expensive home, Graveny Manor, Rick is desperate to revive his fading career and reclaim his fame and fortune…. and is prepared to do anything to get it back."

Who is the cast of Cluedo 2?

Taking centre stage in this brand-new Murder Mystery is Ellie Leach, best known for her 13 years as Faye Windass in Coronation Street and for lifting the Strictly glitterball last year with her partner Vito.

Leach has taken on the part of Miss Scarlett and is also joined by Jason Durr, West End and Casualty star, as Colonel Mustard.

Alongside them are Jack Bennett (Wadsworth), Hannah Boyce (Mrs Peacock), Dawn Buckland (Mrs White), Liam Horrigan (Mr Black), Edward Howells (Professor Plum), Tiwai Muza (PC Silver) and Gabriel Paul (Reverend Green) with Kara Alberts-Turner, Audrey Anderson and Henry Lawes.

Dianne Buswell shows off incredible hair transformation – 'it was time for a change'

The strictly come dancing pro dancer shares a before and after video - and we love the result.

Dianne Buswell smiling

Dianne Buswell is known for her signature red hair, but ahead of the Easter holidays, she decided it was “time for a change” and transformed her locks by adding “darker dragged out roots” – and we love the result.

Taking to Instagram on Thursday, the Strictly Come Dancing star shared a before and after video, showing her in the hairdressers as her “dream team” changed up her look by adding an “amazing” vibrant red colour and “wonderful” extensions.

“It was time for a change! And I love it, what do we think of the darker dragged out roots? Thank you to my dream team @vickydemetriouhair for the wonderful extensions and to @harrietmuldoon for the amazing colour. The best team in the best salon @larrykinghair,” she captioned the video.

Dianne’s Strictly colleagues were quick to share their approval on the comments section and when a fan commented they “love it, because it’s still Dianne, but different,” the 34-year-old replied: “I love the change while still being red.”

The Australian dancer, who is happily coupled up with YouTuber Joe Sugg , has always been very open about her style and beauty secrets.

Dianne showed off her gorgeous new look on Instragram

Back in 2022, she opened up about how she cares for her vibrant red hair and how it’s always looking so glossy.

"I have the Great Lengths Keratin Bonds in my hair and a lady called Vicky from Larry King does them for me. I've been going to her for years now. I find that because my hair goes through so much with Strictly and touring and it constantly has heat on it, I find that the extensions almost coat around my natural hair, so it gives it that little barrier,” she told Heat magazine.

Dianne Buswell smiling in a green dress

"So that's how I protect my actual natural hair and actually, underneath, my hair has grown so much from having these bonds which is amazing. Sometimes people don't even notice now when I have them in and when I don't, so that's definitely a good thing.”

On her secret to smooth and glossy hair, she added: "On the ends of my hair, I never actually put colour, I just put this conditioner that has a red tinge to it. And that's what sort of gives my hair that vibrancy and the smoothness and the glossiness. I don't really do my roots that often, so I don't mind when my hair grows out. I normally leave it around three months in between, I've got it down to a fine art."

Houston Open 2024: How to Watch and Stream All the PGA Tour Golf From Anywhere

The Tour moves to the Memorial Park Golf Course in Texas, where there's a $9.1 million purse up for grabs.

strictly tour uk

After a year missing from the golfing calendar, the Houston Open returns to Memorial Park Golf Course this weekend.

Tour scheduling kept the popular event off the roster last season, but the tournament is back with an enticing lure of 500 FedEx Cup points and a $1.638 million prize for this weekend's overall winner.

Tony Finau returns as defending champ, a full 16 months since his triumph in the last edition of the tournament with a four-stroke lead back in November 2022.

Finau's main threat to regaining his crown looks set to come from world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, who will be eyeing up winning his third straight PGA Tour event win after victories in the Arnold Palmer Invitational and the Players.

Keep reading to find out the best live TV streaming services to use to watch each day of the tournament live wherever you are in the world.

How to watch the the Houston Open 2024 online from anywhere using a VPN

If you find yourself unable to view the tournament locally, you may need a different way to watch -- that's where using a VPN can come in handy. A VPN is also the best way to stop your ISP from throttling your speeds by encrypting your traffic, and it's also a great idea if you're traveling and find yourself connected to a Wi-Fi network, and you want to add an extra layer of privacy for your devices and logins.

With a VPN, you're able to virtually change your location on your phone, tablet or laptop to get access to the tournament. So if your internet provider or mobile carrier has stuck you with an IP address that incorrectly shows your location in a blackout zone, a VPN can correct that problem by giving you an IP address in your correct, nonblackout area. Most VPNs, like our Editors' Choice, ExpressVPN , make it really easy to do this.

Using a VPN to watch or stream sports is legal in any country where VPNs are legal, including the US, UK and Canada, as long as you have a legitimate subscription to the service you're streaming. You should be sure your VPN is set up correctly to prevent leaks: Even where VPNs are legal, the streaming service may terminate the account of anyone it deems to be circumventing correctly applied blackout restrictions.

Quick tips for streaming the Houston Open 2024 using a VPN

  • With four variables at play -- your ISP, browser, video streaming provider and VPN -- your experience and success when streaming may vary.
  • If you don't see your desired location as a default option for ExpressVPN, try using the "search for city or country" option.
  • If you're having trouble getting the tournament after you've turned on your VPN and set it to the correct viewing area, there are two things you can try for a quick fix. First, log into your streaming service subscription account and make sure the address registered for the account is an address in the correct viewing area. If not, you may need to change the physical address on file with your account. Second, some smart TVs -- like Roku -- don't have VPN apps you can install directly on the device itself. Instead, you'll have to install the VPN on your router or the mobile hotspot you're using (like your phone) so that any device on its Wi-Fi network now appears in the correct viewing location.
  • All of the VPN providers we recommend have helpful instructions on their main site for quickly installing the VPN on your router. In some cases with smart TV services, after you install a cable network's sports app, you'll be asked to verify a numeric code or click a link sent to your email address on file for your smart TV. This is where having a VPN on your router will also help, since both devices will appear to be in the correct location.
  • And remember, browsers can often give away a location despite using a VPN, so be sure you're using a privacy-first browser to log into your services. We normally recommend  Brave .

The British public started voting for their winner on Tuesday, but a shock eviction on Thursday night saw Heartstopper’s Bradley Riches exit the house before the final.

On CBBUK ‘s final night, Britton was the first housemate evicted and placed fifth.

Walsh, who had been a favorite to win, was the second housemate evicted on the show’s final night, placing fourth.

Coronation Street star Smith ended up in third place, with Potts and Kuzmin vying for the top spot.

Following the public’s vote, Aj Odudu and Will Best announced that the CBBUK Season 23 winner was the Ibiza Weekender star, Potts, with the Dancing with the Stars dancer Kuzmin taking second place.

Season 23 of CBBUK also saw Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, Levi Roots, Lauren Simon, and Gary Goldsmit as housemates. Sharon Osbourne also entered the house but was not an official housemate; her title was “celebrity lodger.”

Osbourne left the show after eight days in the house saying on her exit, “It’s been a great party. I have loved it.” While in the house, the former Talk show host had her own separate bedroom away from the rest of the rest of the housemates. Osbourne also teamed up with former X-Factor co-star Walsh to take part in a twist “judging” the celebrity housemates and putting three of them in danger of eviction. As a duo, they would ultimately keep Kate Middleton’s uncle on the block with Goldsmit being the first housemate evicted of the season.

Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour 2024 announces first celebrities joining the line-up

strictly tour uk

It’s time to announce the first three celebrities who will be joining 2024’s highly anticipated Strictly Come Dancing Live UK Tour: former Coronation Street actress Ellie Leach; legendary award-winning broadcaster Angela Rippon ; and Bad Education and Everybody’s Talking About Jamie actor and singer Layton Williams . All three celebs, part of the current series of the BBC’s hit Saturday and Sunday night show, will don their dancing shoes in January and take to the road dazzling arena audiences up and down the country.

They will be joined by Strictly legends Shirley Ballas, Anton Du Beke, and Craig Revel Horwood who are returning to their judging seats and tour host, It Takes Two ’s Janette Manrara. Further casting announcements will be made soon.

Speaking about the upcoming tour, Ellie Leach said: “I said before that appearing on Strictly was a dream come true and now, I will get to be on the tour as well! I can’t wait for January to experience it all over again – it’s going to be a blast!”.

Angela Rippon said: “Having really challenged myself on the TV show over the last seven weeks, it's going to be wonderful to continue the Strictly magic on the tour next year. From hosting Come Dancing to performing for over 10,000 people at The O2 – I really will have completed the ultimate Strictly journey!”

Layton Williams said: "The Strictly tour means more sequins - lots and lots of sequins! I couldn't think of a better way to end this fab experience. I can't wait to dance in arenas across the country and meet all the fans that have supported my journey.”.

The 2024 tour opens at Birmingham’s Utilita Arena on 19 January, then the glitz, the glamour and the sequins - together with the all-important celebrity contestants and their professional dancer partners - will travel to some of the UK’s biggest entertainment venues leaving a trail of glitter in their wake: Utilita Arena Sheffield, Utilita Arena Newcastle, OVO Hydro Glasgow, M&S Bank Arena Liverpool, First Direct Arena Leeds, AO Arena Manchester, Motorpoint Arena Nottingham and finally The O2 in London, culminating on 11 February.

STRICTLY COME DANCING THE LIVE TOUR is produced by Stage Entertainment UK and Phil McIntyre Live, with BBC Studios.

Ancient ruins, city tours and cannoli on a family tour of western Sicily

Start in Palermo and head west for a family adventure featuring street food, ancient ruins and a magical night tour of the city.

Italians may flock to Sicily’s soft sands in summer, but this far-flung Mediterranean island is far more than just a beach destination. Families can scale Mount Etna in giant off-road jeep buses, feast on classic Sicilian sweets and delve into archaeology at well-preserved ruin complexes like the Valley of the Temples. Older kids, meanwhile, can satisfy any gangster fascination by exploring mafia heritage in Palermo and seeking out The Godfather filming sites in the quiet mountain villages. And with the island lying closer to Africa than Rome, its southerly climate makes it a great choice for off-season travels around Easter and October.

Palermo by night

To beat the heat of the Sicilian capital in summer, try venturing into town after dusk for a guided night tour , when Palermo’s landmarks are magically illuminated. The walk can take in city highlights such as the medieval Kalsa district, the Arabesque domes of San Giovanni degli Eremiti, the Norman cathedral of Monreale and UNESCO-listed Zisa palace.

Gangster’s paradise

Unpick the island’s deep-rooted connection with the Sicilian Mafia, known locally as Cosa Nostra, at Palermo’s No Mafia Memorial museum . It explains the origins of the crime cartel and the government’s efforts to quash the organisation after the Second World War. If you’ve got more time, there are also Mafia-related tours taking in the eastern villages of Savoca and Forza d’Agro, which were key filming locations for The Godfather — a good bet if you’ve got any movie-mad teens in tow.

Street-food specialities

Sicily’s original thick-crusted pizza is a must try. There’s a topping for every palate so picky eaters are bound to find something they like; the more adventurous should go for the classic, which includes anchovies, herbs and strong cheese on a passata base. For dessert it’s cannoli, deep-fried pastry tubes filled with sweet ricotta, that take centre stage. Arancini — fried risotto balls — are another favourite for a cheap meal on the go. A Palermo street-food tour is a fun way to explore for those whose kids love to try new dishes.

Sicily’s sweet-making centre

With its sloping cobbled streets and crowning castle, Erice — around 70 miles west of Palermo — has a fairytale quality. But in Sicily this town is best known for its almond pastries — especially those made by local pastry chef Maria Grammatico , whose stories have been immortalised in the biography Bitter Almonds, by Mary Taylor Simeti. Follow the sweet scent of powdered sugar down winding lanes to find her old-fashioned bakery and encourage the kids to order belli e brutti — ‘beautiful and ugly’ — a buttery bite-size pastry laced with almonds and lemon.

Archaeology discoveries

Sicily has more than its fair share of ruins and many of the best are in the west of the island. Closest to Palermo is the fifth-century Segesta Archaeological Park , around 47 miles west of the capital, which offers panoramic views from a Hellenic theatre atop Monte Barbaro. But Sicily’s finest ruins can be found at the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento on the southwest coast — a UNESCO World Heritage site with one of the world’s best-preserved Greek temples.

Volcano tours to Mt Etna

The east of the island is famed for its succession of exquisite baroque towns in the south and the cone of Mount Etna on the east coast. Towering 3,329 metres high, Europe’s tallest volcano is also one of Sicily’s seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites — and a family favourite because of how close kids can usually get to the fuming calderas. The trip starts with a cable-car ride up to 2,500 metres, from where 4x4 jeep buses carry travellers higher on guided tours of the lunar-like landscape and smoking volcano craters. Tours are available from Catania, Taormina or Messina, but keep an eye on the local news — Etna last spewed lava as recently as November 2023.

Where to stay

Villa Igiea Restored at the end of the 19th century by famous Italian architect Ernesto Basile and revamped by Rocce Forte Hotels in 2021, the 124-room art nouveau-style Villa Igiea in Palermo is rich in character. It still retains its frescoes, original furniture and decor with a modern twist, all of which are guaranteed to make kids feel like they’ve stepped into a fairytale. Rooms are individually decorated with lovely hardwood floors and luxury marble bathrooms, and it’s located near the port, overlooking an ancient Greek temple.

Verdura Resort Set on more than 500 acres of southwestern Sicilian coastline, the 205-room Verdura Resort offers uninterrupted views of the sea from private balconies or terraces, designed in a fresh and contemporary Sicilian style. The hotel is packed with facilities to make life easy for families, including a 60-metre infinity pool, a handful of clay tennis courts and four restaurants – plus five bars and a massive spa for the adults.
