Commonwealth Map

Far harbor map, nuka-world map, hidden cappy locations.

Ten hidden Cappys are concealed in Fallout 4: Nuka-World. Finding all 10 Cappys will unlock a special reward hidden in the locked office of Nuka-Cola creator John-Caleb Bradburton.

To find the Cappys as part of the Cappy in a Haystack Quest, first talk to Sierra Petrovita in Nuka-World USA. She'll give you a set if Capy Glasses. You must equip these glasses to find hidden Cappys...without them, the cappy textures are invisible.

Two hidden Cappys are located in Dry Rock Gulch. The first is hidden on the back of a tomb in the small graveyard near the corral.

The second Cappy is located in Mad Mulligan's Mine along the main quest route. The Cappy is printed on the side of the house near the waterfall.

Watch out for bloodworms nearby.

Another Hidden Cappy is located in Nuka-Town USA . Facing Fizztop Mountain , move left along the lake.

The wall to your left, just before the building with the orange tiers, hides another Cappy.

The fourth Cappy is hidden in the Fun House in Kiddie Kingdom in the room with the spinning floor.

Opening one of the doors along the outer edge reveals this Cappy, but watch out for the radiation spray trap inside. Use Rad-X before entering.

The fifth Cappy is hidden in a burned out tower just outside the main entrance to King Cola's Castle .

Climb to the top floor and you'll spot Cappy on an interior wall.

The sixth Cappy is located in the Galactic Zone.

Around the corner of the Star Control exterior, past the main window to the left of the lower level window, pass beneath the stair and then peel right toward the Employees Only sign .

Another Cappy obtained!

The seventh Cappy is also in the Galactic Zone, just outside the top of the Star Walk.

If your walking up the tunnel it appears to your right.

The eighth Cappy is in the Bottling Plant, printed on the side of one of the Old West-style buildings.

Turn around facing against the flow of the river to spot it.

The ninth Cappy is in Safari Adventure, hidden in the Hedge Maze down a dead-end path.

One more to go!

The final Cappy is also in Safari Adventure.

Look behind the base of this gorilla statue and grab the last hidden character.

Cappy Rewards

Warning: some story spoilers below!

Once you have all ten Cappys, head to Nuka-Town USA and meet Sierra outside Bradburton's office. She'll solve the riddle of the code. Use the keypad to open the door and head up to the office.

A hidden panel on the side of the soda machine will open a wall and reveal an elevator. You can ride down to a concealed Vault. Inside, you'll find the frozen, still-living head of Bradburton.

Bradburton will ask you to kill him, putting him out of his long life of misery. If you choose to do so, he'll open his Vault and reward you with the Nuka-Cola formula (which Sierra will pay handsomely for) and the Nuka-Launcher, a super-powered variant of the Fat Man .

The Nuka-Launcher is almost twice as powerful as a stock Fat Man /Mini Nuke combo, but uses special ammunition.

Sierra cannot stand the thought of her hero dying and will ask you to keep Bradburton alive. If this option is chosen, she will reward you with a Nuka-World jumpsuit. You also have the option of double crossing her for both rewards. Simply tell her that you will agree to keep him alive, wait for her to give you the jumpsuit, and then turn the power off for Bradburton's life support. She will become hostile if this option is chosen, so be prepared for a fight.

Fallout 4’s Nuka World DLC: Cappy In A Haystack Quest

Image of Ty Arthur

Secrets abound across  Fallout 4’s final DLC Nuka World , along with a smattering of returning and new characters. Who knew that Nuka Cola always had a metal cap mascot? Apparently we missed that somehow in the last 277 years since the apocalypse.

The Cappy In A Haystack quest has you searching for hidden Cappy marks painted on walls in various secret spots across the entire amusement park. There’s 10 elusive Cappys to be found in some hard to reach locations, but the end result is well worth the hunt.

There’s some truly crazy loot for completing this quest — including a caffeinated version of the Fat Man and even the legendary recipe for Nuka Cola itself!

Below we cover step-by-step how to find each Cappy. If you are looking for other Nuka World walkthroughs, be sure to also check out:

Starting The Cappy In A Haystack Quest

The quest to find each hidden Cappy in Nuka World is offered by a character you might recall from a previous game… none other than Sierra, owner of the Capital Wasteland’s very own Nuka Cola museum!

That’s right, somehow Sierra made it one piece from Washington to Boston. I assume her museum is thoroughly looted and owned by raiders at this point, and her love-struck neighbor is probably going out of his mind since she’s been gone.

You can find Sierra wandering around Nuka World USA. After talking to her, Sierra will hand over the super stylish Cappy Glasses, so go ahead and equip them  so you can see the hidden Cappy marks scattered throughout the park.

You can’t wear both the glasses and a power armor helmet, but other headwear options can be combined together.

Hidden Cappy # 1

The first Cappy isn’t far from where the quest starts. Head northwest from Nuka Town USA area (or just to the southwest of the Fizztop Grille). The Cappy is on the wall in between the information booth and the concrete bathrooms covered in vines.

Hidden Cappy # 2

To find this Cappy, head over to Starport Nuka in the Galactic Zone. Head behind the Starport Nuka building (by walking to the left side underneath the concrete steps). The Cappy is to the left of the locked fence on the short wall.

Hidden Cappy # 3

For the next Cappy, turn around and go up the stairs on the left side of Starport Nuka. Turn right and go across the catwalk until you hit the escalators that let you walk down.

Immediately after the escalator, turn right and go forward to the area with the “Spacewalk” sign. The Cappy is on the wall to the left of the sign in between trash cans and a concrete bench.

Hidden Cappy # 4

The fourth Cappy is located near Doc Phosphate’s Saloon in Dry Rock Gulch. Head down the path to the left side of the Saloon entrance to find the graveyard. The Cappy is cleverly hidden on the back of a grave near the front of the graveyard.

Hidden Cappy # 5

For this Cappy, turn around and go back the way you came so you are heading down the right hand path in front of the Saloon entrance. Keep going forward past the “Bandit Roundup” sign and go into the red “Enter Here” door to Mad Mulligan’s Mine.

Note: before the mine is accessible, you must have completed the High Noon At The Gulch quest . You can start this quest by talking to any of the protectron sheriff’s around the area, and the quest can be finished much more quickly if you have the Robotics Expert perk.

Go up the small set of steps and enter the right mineshaft entrance. At the first junction, turn left. Jump over the yellow railing and you should immediately see the Cappy on the side of a rusted old shed.

Hidden Cappy # 6

For this Cappy, travel over to the Primate House in the Safari Adventure attraction. Don’t actually go inside the Primate House however – while walking up the hedge path to the house, turn right and walk through the open branch section to find a hidden little alcove. The Cappy is just to the right on the wall after you pop out of the hedges (underneath the gorilla statue).

Hidden Cappy # 7

From the previous Cappy, head back out onto the path leading away from Primate House and walk by the Ice Cream stand towards the Welcome Center with the large stone steps and the fire pit.

Jump over the ledge in front of the giant stone lion and then walk through the open fence with the “Employees Only” sign.

Head up the tiny metal ladder to your left so you can get up on the roof area and then jump down when you see the cages. Head forward underneath the sign that reads “Cappy’s Treehouse.” Turn right and go all the way to far right end of the hedge tunnels to find this Cappy on the stone wall.

Hidden Cappy # 8

For this Cappy, head to the World Of Refreshment building by the Nuka Cola Bottling area. Enter the World Of Refreshment through the watery front entrance with the “Enjoy The Ride” sign.

Follow the water lane until you pass the “Nuka Wild” sign and see a giant red Nuka bottle on your right and a large cactus on your left side. The Cappy is on the side of the two-story wood building.

Hidden Cappy # 9

This Cappy is inside the Fun House in the Kiddie Kingdom attraction in the incredibly obnoxious spinning floor room.

fallout 4 safari adventure hidden cappy

If you are entering the spinning floor room from the front side of the Fun House (after having completed the area and unlocking the main entrance) then the door with the hidden Cappy is two from your right. If you are entering from the opposite side, it’s three from your left.

Hidden Cappy # 10

Outside the main entrance to the castle in Kiddie Kingdom, go up the red tower and travel up the spiraling staircase all the way to the top. The Cappy is on the inside wall just by the top of the stairs.

Now with all the Cappy hints in your collection, go back to talk to Sierra again. She’ll give you the code to Bradburton’s office where you can complete the quest and collect your reward!

Fallout 4: Nuka-World – ‘Cappy in a Haystack’ Quest Completion Guide

On PC, PS4 & Xbox One: Skip the hints and find the exact locations for all 10 hidden Cappy codes to unlock an amazing new Nuka-Cola weapon.

F4Nuka5

This is no ordinary Fallout 4 quest . Instead of spoon-feeding the Sole Survivor waypoints, this quest only provides a pair of decoder glasses and 10 hints to go by. If you’re looking to arm-up and earn one of the most destructive schematics of the Commonwealth, then jump ahead to the Cappy code locations listed below.

Let’s back up. So, this quest sees the return of the Nuka-obsessed Sierra Petrovita of Fallout 3 fame. She’s still hunting down Nuka secrets, and this might be the biggest secret of them all. By finding 10 hidden Cappy images, you’ll get a chance to piece together a code and enter the office of Nuka-Cola’s inventor. You’ll also get new apparel and weapons for all your hard work. Not a bad deal after all, considering that the big prize at the end of Fallout: New Vegas for collecting caps turned out to be nothing at all.

If you’re a true survivor, check out Gameranx’s massive list of guides, how-to’s, secret locations, and everything else a fresh Vault 111 escapee needs to thrive on the Fallout 4 Ultimate Commonwealth Guide .

‘Cappy in a Haystack’ Quest Completion Guide

What makes this quest special? There are ten hidden images you’ll need to locate and interact with. The hints push you in the right direction, but won’t give any exact locations. If you need help finding any of the 10 secret Cappy images, scroll down to find all the locations in detail.

  • How to Start the Quest:  Start the quest by locating Sierra Petrovita. She wanders around the courtyard south of the Fizztop Grille, near the Nuka-Cade building.

Talk to Sierra and she’ll provide you with the unique Cappy Glasses and a list of clues to help you find the 10 hidden Cappy images. You’ll need to equip the Cappy Glasses to see the secret pictures properly, so keep those equipped when you’re on the hunt.

Find all ten Cappies to complete the secret code. Once you find a code, interact with the image to “save” that cappy collectible. Here are the places you’ll want to look.

  • Cappy #1: Nuka-Town, USA – Southwest of the Fizztop Grille, marked on the interior of the large barrier wall between the Stroller Dropoff and the restrooms.
  • Cappy #2: Galactic World – Follow the left wall of Star Control until you reach a gate. The image is to the left of that gate, right next to the “Employees Only” sign.
  • Cappy #3: Galactic World – Left of the Robco Battlezone, look for the large “Space Walk” path — at the top, nearby there is a dead-end corner with trashcans. The cappy is emblazoned on the nearby wall.
  • Cappy #4: Safari Adventure – At the entrance to the Safari Adventure Primate House, look behind the bushes and the large primate statue.
  • Cappy #5: Safari Adventure – Inside the safari zone’s hedge maze, northwest of the Primate House. Find an exposed stone wall dead-end inside the maze to find this cappy.
  • Cappy #6: Kiddie Kingdom – Deep inside the Fun House, you’ll reach a spinning neon green platform — open all the red doors to find a seemingly empty closet that contains one cappy code piece.
  • Cappy #7: Kiddie Kingdom – Climb to the top of the large (and partially ruined) Kiddie Kingdom clock tower. Take the stairs up and you’ll find the cappy painted on an interior wall.
  • Cappy #8: World of Refreshment – Enter the quantum river through the entrance and look at the sides of the old west-style buildings along the main path. Stand at a cactus and look toward the building sides to easily spot this one.
  • Cappy #9: Doc Phosphate’s Saloon – Travel slightly southwest of the saloon to locate an old west graveyard. Search the back of the gravestones to mark your penultimate cappy.
  • Cappy #10: Dry Rock Gulch – Talk to Sheriff Eagle to begin his quest “High Noon at the Gulch”. Find the three other robots to complete the Safe Combination Pieces and open Sheriff Eagle’s safe. Once you have access to Mad Mulligan’s Mine, go to the water-fall cavern and look for a small shack near the flowing water. On the exterior walls, you’ll find the last cappy code.

Return to Sierra Petrovita to learn what all these letters spell; REFRESHMENT . That’s your code! Enter it into Cappy Keypad and enter Bradberton’s Office to get your just deserts.

So, what’s inside? There’s a veritable treasure-trove of items, but only if you locate a secret button. Look on the right-side of the Nuka-Cola vending machine on the top floor of the office. There’s a button — press it to reveal a hidden passage behind a bookcase! Take the elevator down and…

Well, we don’t want to spoil everything. Just think about all those rumors about Walt Disney and cryogenic freezing.

You’ll face two choices at the end of the quest, depending on what you choose, you can get one of the following:

  • Rewards: Nuka-Nuke (Mini-Nuke Ammo Variant) Schematics, Nuka-Nuke Launcher
  • Reward: Nuka-World Jumpsuit

You can get BOTH rewards by following this simple little solution:

  • Side with Sierra at the end of the quest.
  • Turn off the generator power after the quest is complete.

Completing this betrayal will turn Sierra hostile, so you’ll have to kill her. Don’t worry, there’s nothing left to do with her character anyway, but if you don’t want to fight her, don’t turn off the power.

With the Nuka-Nuke schematics, you can construct Nuka-Nuke ammo at Chemistry Stations. This ammo-type only works for the Nuka-Nuke Launcher, which is a unique Mini-Nuke Launcher — you can’t modify another Launcher to fire this type of ammo.

  • Nuka-Nuke Recipe Requirements: (1) Mini-Nuke, (1) Nuka-Cola Quantum

The choice is pretty obvious. If you’re going to pick one reward, go with the Nuka-Nuke Launcher. It fires blue mushroom clouds.

'Fallout 4 Nuka-World' Hidden Cappy Location Guide: Complete Cappy In A Haystack To Earn The Nuka Nuke Launcher

Fallout 4

  • Playstation 4

The hidden Cappys mission in Nuka-World is tough, but we did all the work for you already

Nuka-World , the latest DLC for Fallout 4 , features a few fetch quests that are harder than they first appear. One of the toughest is called “Cappy in a Haystack,” and forces players to hunt down hidden Cappy pictures while wearing special glasses. Don’t want to bother working hard to find the Cappys? We did all the tough work for you, so now you just need to get yourself to each location.

Cappy in a Haystack

To start the Cappy in a Haystack mission, you’ll need to first talk to Sierra Petrovita. She’s a blonde woman wearing a green shirt who can be found in Nuka-Town. Talk to her, and she’ll ask you to get her a Nuka-Cola Quartz (or you can skip this by passing a dialogue check). These can be found in a few places across the park, but I found the most in the Safari Zone.

Once she trusts you, Sierra will tell you her plan to find the Cappys. These hidden pictures require you to wear the Cappy glasses that Sierra gives to you.

Hidden Cappy Locations

There are 10 hidden Cappys, each one with its own letter. Once you collect all 10, you can spell the secret word to access Bradberton’s office.

What a hidden Cappy looks like without the Cappy glasses

G - This hidden Cappy is on the outside wall of Nuka-Town. To find it, look for a red brick bathroom building, this Cappy will be off to the left.

Galactic Zone Hidden Cappy Locations

S - Next to the Employees Only gated area behind Star Control

Dry Rock Gulch Hidden Cappy Locations

E - On the backside of a grave in the graveyard opposite The Giddyup Kid

H - Inside Mad Mulligan’s Mine, follow the path to the room with a waterfall and shack in it, on the side of the shack

Safari Zone Hidden Cappy Locations

N - On the back of the gorilla statue outside the Primate House

E - From the start of the hedge maze, take a right and then another right. You’ll find this Cappy along a wall in a dead end

World of Refreshments Hidden Cappy Locations

R - On the side of a building in the Western section of the World of Refreshments ride

Kiddy Kingdom Hidden Cappy Locations

I - In the top room of the tall tower

The hidden Cappy in the Fun House swirling room

F - Behind a red door in the swirling room of the Fun House

Once you have found all 10 hidden Cappys, return to Sierra in Nuka-Town. She’ll be standing right next to Bradberton’s office, and tells you to unlock the door with the code. Unlock the door and go upstairs to the office.

The hidden button in Bradberton's office

There’s a hidden switch you can read about on Bradberton’s computer, or you can go find it. It’s located to the side of the Nuka-Cola machine by the desk.

Go down the elevator, and you end up in a vault, talking to the frozen head of John-Caleb Bradberton himself. He tells you there are treasures behind a locked door, and if you turn off the power you can get them (and also kill Bradberton, but he wants to die. You would too if you were a frozen head, alone for hundreds of years).

But wait, Sierra wants to keep Bradberton around. She offers you a fancy jumpsuit if you don’t shut off the power. If you want both the jumpsuit and all the goodies behind the locked door, side with Sierra to get the jumpsuit. Once you have it, just go shut off the power anyway to open the door. The only downside to this is Sierra will turn on you, and start shooting you.

The locked room has the Nuka Nuke Launcher, a modified Fatboy. There’s also some Nuka Nukes to shoot, the recipe for crafting more Nuka Nukes and the recipe for making Nuka-Cola itself. It should be noted that the Nuka Nuke Launcher cannot be crafted, so this is the only one you will be able to get. Use it wisely.

So what do you think? Are you ready to go find all the hidden Cappys for yourself? Will you side with Bradberton or Sierra? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.

Fallout 4: Nuka-World DLC guide - Star Cores, Hidden Cappy signs, endings and more

Everything you need to conquer Fallout 4: Nuka-World, be it Star Cores or side quests.

fallout_4_nuka_world_map

Fallout 4 : Nuka-World adds an even bigger landmass than Far Harbor, which was itself a record size for Bethesda, so there's plenty to see and do.

The self-contained story is well-flagged and it's not hard to get hold of new loot, but if you're determined to get the most out of Fallout 4: Nuka-World in the most efficient way possible, we've got what you need.

Whether you're looking for Star Cores to get the power armour you stumbled across during Star Control, hunting down Hidden Cappy signs for Sierra, wondering what to do about your gangs during The Grand Tour, looking for some new perks or just browsing what's available in the DLC ahead of purchase, we hope to have something to assist you.

We'll start off with an overview of the quests available in Fallout 4: Nuka-World, move through the three main types of collectible available through the expansion, and then throw together all the other good stuff - the new companion, perks, equipment and enemies.

You can use the navigation box to skip right down to whatever it is you're looking for. This guide is a chapter of our much larger Fallout 4 guide , if you're looking for more general information on Bethesda's post-nuclear epic.

Fallout 4: Nuka-World quests

Fallout 4: Nuka-World tells a thrilling story of beating people up and taking their money - with fair rides. Because you're in it to loot and plunder, almost all the quests essentially boil down to "visit place, kill things, profit" (how unlike the rest of video game?) so in lieu of a full walkthrough you may just wish to consult our Fallout 4: Nuka-World Endings guide for an explanation of how your actions can shape the future of the park; scroll down for that.

How to find, install and access Fallout 4: Nuka-World DLC

The first battle in every Fallout 4 DLC is getting the damn thing working, and Nuka-World is no exception. If you're wandering around the map wondering why you can't find this fizzy drink theme park you were expecting to see, this page will help you get sorted out.

Fallout 4: Nuka World Endings guide - perks, rewards and Open Season

Fallout 4: Nuka-World has multiple endings. Which one will you choose? What perks and rewards will you unlock? Consult this necessarily spoiler-filled guide for details on how to ensure you secure the future you want when Fallout 4: Nuka World draws to a close.

Fallout 4: Nuka-World main story path

The main story path is well-flagged and largely linear. You should consult the endings guide if you have any doubts about the raider lifestyle or have concerns about tensions between the three gang factions, hem hem.

Fallout 4: Nuka-World side quests

There aren't too many side-quests in Fallout 4: Nuka-World, but they make up in quality what they lack in quality, although your mileage may vary on the Hidden Cappy saga (scroll down to the collectibles section for help with that).

  • Trip to the Stars Investigate the Hubologist Camp in the southwest corner of the Nuka-World map.
  • Amoral Combat Revisit the Cola Cars Arena later in the DLC and speak with Fritsch.
  • Precious Medals Speak with N.I.R.A. (the mascot robot).
  • Cappy in a Haystack Speak to Sierra in Nuka-Town USA.
  • Open Season After gaining free-roam access to Nuka-Town, speak to MacKenzie (Nuka-Town Market) or Preston. This quest will derail the main story path; see our endings guide for details.

Fallout 4: Nuka-World Radiant quests

Fallout 4: Nuka-World collectibles: Star Cores, Hidden Cappy signs and Scav! Magazine

For some reason Bethesda got really trigger-happy on waypoint-limited scavenger quests in Fallout 4: Nuka World. They're a bit of a pain, to be frank, but don't worry - we've done the hard yards for you.

How to find every Star Core in Fallout 4: Nuka-World for the Star Control quest

35 bastard Star Cores are scattered around Fallout 4: Nuka-World. most are found in the Galactic Zone, where the related quest, Star Control, takes place. Some are found in other locations. None of them are marked with waypoints. Feel free to say some rude words.

All Hidden Cappy locations for Fallout 4: Nuka-World - Cappy in a Haystack

Oh right yeah sure, make me find ten Hidden Cappy signs scattered around Fallout 4: Nuka-World with nothing but a Holotape I have to dig out of my poorly-designed inventory every time I want to see the hints. Why not! That seems like a good idea. I'm not mad.

Boost your SPECIAL with Scav! Magazine

A new magazine found only in Nuka-World, Scav! offers a stack of different bonuses for combat, speech and more. Uniquely among Fallout 4's boost collectibles, one issue offers greater rewards the less money you have. Find all five issues and get the most out of the additional perks.

All 15 Nuka-Cola recipe locations

Have you ever wanted to mix your own varieties of Nuka-Cola? Us either, but some of these recipes are ridiculously powerful. Survival Mode players may want to investigate before facing off against some of the tougher challenges.

Fallout 4: Nuka-World perks, companion, weapons and enemies

Raider ambitions aside, there's a good reason to play Fallout 4: Nuka-World: awesome rewards. Here are the most notable new additions to your game-breaking wasteland commando build (slash fashionista).

New companion perk: Gage

Porter Gage is the first to spot your potential and welcome you as a force for change in Nuka-World. If you don't bring a companion with you he'll automatically join you on your journey, and is a valuable, deadly companion who will prove more resilient to the dangers of the theme park than your early-game pals.

Gage's ultimate companion perks is Lessons in Blood , which provides a 5% bonus to kill XP and a 10% bonus to damage resistance. Here's how to make him your new BFF:

  • Modify Weapons
  • Play arcade machines
  • Barter for higher payment
  • Make aggressive or sarcastic dialogue choices
  • Complete new kinds of radiant quest for a faction leader
  • Kill friendly Nuka-World raiders
  • Use alcohol or chems
  • Make peaceful dialogue choices

Wasteland Warlord perk

Towards the end of Fallout 4: Nuka-World you'll open the ability to establish raider settlements in the Commonwealth. This seems to have no negative consequences with regards to your relations with other factions in the core game. The perk levels up as you build more raider settlements:

  • Three raider settlements: Unlocks new structures at all Raider outposts
  • Five raider settlements: Unlocks additional structures at all Raider outposts
  • Eight raider settlements: You rule the wastes! Your outposts can construct all Raider structures!

Fallout 4: Nuka-World map - new Red Rocket Settlement, Junkyard and more

There are several notable new locations in Fallout 4: Nuka-World. Here are the ones you're probably going to be on the look out for:

  • Red Rocket settlement Only one new settlement has been added with Fallout 4: Nuka-World. The Red Rocket is found almost directly east of the Nuka-Cola Bottling Plant, but it can't be used until you restore power to the park.
  • Junkyard One of the most sought-after locations in all of Fallout 4: Nuka-World, the Junkyard is in the west of the map, north of the Hubologist Camp. If you really can't find it, and you're looking for the Star Core and Scav! issue in the nearby barn, try kicking off the Trip to the Stars quest the Hubologists offer you. They'll lead you right to the entrance in the second half.
  • Nuka-World Power Plant Whether you follow the story or take the Open Season route, you'll want to restore power to Nuka-World. Find the power plant due west of the Galactic Zone.
  • Nuka-World Transit Centre This location is actually in the Commonwealth, and is your first stop after receiving the radio message alerting you to the existence of Nuka-World. You can find it on the west side of the map, and the Nuka-World quest marker will lead you right to it.

Rad new weapons and equipment in Fallout 4: Nuka-World

Fallout 4: Nuka-World offers plenty of loot. Here's out pick of what's prettiest and most powerful.

  • Nuka-Nuke launcher Pretty much the reason you bothered with the bloody Hidden Cappy signs. Like a standard nuke launcher but makes pretty colours.
  • Thirst Zapper You receive one during the early pasrt of the DLC and will never need to use it again outside the Nuka-Cade.
  • Throatslicer Sold in the market. Does bleed damage.
  • Splattercannon Unique legendary with the Furious effect, sold in the market.
  • Sword of Wonders You receive this for peacefully resolving the Kiddie Kingdom quest. It's a bit rubbish, to be honest.
  • Cito's Shiny Slugger Unique melee weapon offered as a reward if you don't murder an innocent bit of eye candy.
  • Paddle Ball Redeem 500 Nuka-Cade tickets for this. You can pick up ammo from the machine, too.
  • Smart Grenades Adds the Smart Grenade perk ; grenades do no damage to the player even if you drop them right at your feet. Purchase from Shelbie Chase at the Nuka-Town Market.
  • Nuka-Girl rocketsuit Take this off a mannequin outside Nuka-Galaxy in the Galactic Zone, never look back.
  • Nuka T-51 power armour/Quantum X-01 power armour It's new power armour. Of course you want it.
  • Overboss power armour Be sure to rob the body before you leave the Cola Cars Arena, even if it means being over-encumbered for a few minutes.
  • Oswald's Tophat No we're talking. Boosts movement speed by 10% and style by 9,000,000%. Found during the main story quest.
  • Gage's Armour Not worth it, you monster .
  • Nuka-World Clothing A variety of Cappy and Nuka-World costumes can be yours, including the Nuka-World Jumpsuit (Cappy in a Haystack) and a ridiculous number of "& Jeans" outfits.
  • Cowboy clothing Hats! In both typical browns and more dramatic blacks! And various varieties! Howdy howdy howdy! We have nothing more to say about these.
  • Disciples armour and clothing Although they get about mostly in ripped old clothing, the Disciples offer multiple new armour sets: Strapped, Wrapped, Bladed, Metal and Spiked. They also have armoured skirts and at least three different helmets. And they bag the Operators out for being vain.
  • Operators armour and clothing The Operators offer both a standard and heavy armour set, as well as armoured dress, armoured skirt, belted chest piece, glasses and goggles. They like the new "fancy" clothing sets, too.
  • Pack armour and clothing One word: masks. The Pack offers some miscellaneous armour sets, but really you're in it for the beanie, crow mask, beanie and crow mask, buffalo helmet, carnival mask, deer mask, elephant helmet, horned helmet. jaguar helmet and moose helmet. Of course you are. They like furry clothes, unsurprisingly.
  • Colourful Undergarments To be honest, we're not super sure why there are so many new kinds of underwear in Fallout 4: Nuka-World, except that Commonwealth raiders sure do love running around in their underoos.

New enemies in Fallout 4: Nuka-World

Yes, there are new enemies in Fallout 4: Nuka-World. At this stage some of you are probably level 70 and will not be phased, while others will regret all those side quests they skipped when they're being eaten by cave crickets.

  • Ant Yes, that's what the world needs. Comes in a variety of shapes and sizes, including the Flying Ant Swarm.
  • Rad-rat Wait, I was wrong; this is what the world needs: the rat equivalent of a radroach.
  • Bloodworm It's a worm, and it wants your blood. it burrows and pops up like a molerat but is otherwise very dull.
  • Cave Cricket Surprisingly murderous. As if normal-sized cave crickets were not terrifying enough.
  • Gatorclaw Someone made a new type of Deathclaw from bits of alligator for reasons we still don't fully grok despite reading all the terminal entries.
  • Ghoulrilla We have nothing further to say on this subject. Case closed.
  • Pack raiders Dressed like a budget circus came to town, like to get up close and personal with melee weapons, unpleasantly hardy.
  • Disciple raiders Creepily into knives, but this won't stop them shooting you.
  • Operator raiders Supposedly stealthy and snipey, but actually just pretty standard raiders. Think gunners with better hair.

Is there anything else you need to know about Fallout 4: Nuka-World? Let us know and we'll see what can be done to assist you.

Fallout 4 Nuka-World Guide: Where to Find the Hidden Cappys

Image of Kyle Hanson

Fallout 4 Nuka-World adds a huge new area to explore, which means all new fetch quests that force you to discover every nook and cranny within this new world. One of the first missions given to you is by a desperate Nuka-Cola fan. Apparently there are hidden Cappys all around Nuka-World, and if you discover them all, with the right pair of glasses on, they unlock a code that can be used to access the office of Nuka-Cola’s creator. The reward could be great, with the mysterious Nuka-Cola formula on the line. But to get it you need to find all ten of these hidden Cappys, and they are very well hidden, so here’s our guide on where to find the hidden Cappys in Fallout 4 Nuka-World.

Note: There is also a video walkthrough below if you don’t feel like reading.

The first Hidden Cappy can be found right in Nuka-Town, USA. This main hub is already controlled by your gangs, so it should be easy to explore. Just head toward your apartment at the end of town. When you get to the large lake in the middle, head to the left. The hidden Cappy is found behind the nearby buildings seen below.

Fallout-4-Nuka-World-Where-to-Find-Hidden-Cappys-1

Heading next to the Galactic Zone, there are two Hidden Cappys to find here. First head to the Starport Nuka area at the center of the Galactic Zone. Right behind it on the left side, just outside the gate to the employee-only area is the next hidden Cappy. The second one is just outside the Spacewalk. It’s technically the exit of the small walkway, so, from the main entrance head up the Spacewalk and then turn to the right. In the grass and weeds of this alcove you’ll find another Hidden Cappy.

Next let’s go over to the Dry Rock Gulch, where another two Hidden Cappys can be found. The easier one to locate is within Mad Mulligan’s Minecart Coaster, an area you’ll definitely want to have cleared before tackling this particular mission. In fact, you probably want to complete your entire tour of the park, clearing every section and assigning it to your three gangs before you tackle the Hidden Cappy mission. Once cleared just head inside and look for the open area with the small building. The first hidden Cappy can be found on its outer wall near the door. For the second on in Dry Rock Gulch head outside and toward the south west. To the west of the Dry Rock Gulch Theater is a cemetery, with the second hidden Cappy on the back of one of the gravestones.

Next up is the Safari Zone, home to another two hidden Cappys. Head to the primate house where you met the gorilla family to find the first one. It is on the back of the gorilla statue just outside the entrance to the primate house itself, just head toward the entrance and look to the right. The other hidden Cappy in the Safari Zone isn’t too tough to find though, even if it is in a hedgemaze. Just check out the bottom right corner of the hedgemaze, otherwise known as Cappy’s Treehouse, and you’ll find it on a flat, concrete wall.

Now head over to the Nuka-Cola Bottling Plant, or the World of Refreshment to find another hidden Cappy. Another somewhat easy find, just head inside via the river entrance in the front of the plant, this should put you in the Nuka-Cola Quantum river inside. Follow the path until you come to Nuka-Wild area. It’s the one that looks like a western theme. On the side of the building pictured below you’ll find what should be your eighth hidden Cappy.

Fallout-4-Nuka-World-Where-to-Find-Hidden-Cappys-2

For the ninth and tenth hidden Cappys you need to hit the Kiddie Kingdom. One is found inside of the Fun House, behind one of the many doors in the rotating room. It’s a red door a few to the left, if you’re facing the exit, or entrance if you came in the back way. Just open all of the doors here and you should spot it pretty easily, there’s even a spotlight to help you out. Now head outside and toward the castle, which is shown on your map as the main Kiddie Kingdom location. Out front of here is a tall tower, which you should be able to spot from nearby. At the top of it you’ll find the last hidden Cappy in Fallout 4 Nuka-World.

Hopefully this helps you figure out where to find the hidden Cappys in Fallout 4 Nuka-World. It’s a tough journey, but worth it for those who wish to know the secrets of Nuka-Cola.

Safari Adventure is a location in Nuka-World in 2287 .

Background [ ]

Safari Adventure was a Nuka-World park area with a theme focusing on the safari and its commonly associated wildlife. When scientists employed by the park attempted to clone the animals, an activist group known as the Animal Friends and Defenders kidnapped one of the lead researchers, Dr. Hein , and held him hostage at the Angry Anaconda construction site on the day of the Great War in an attempt to end the experiments. [1]

Only one person at the cloning facility survived the bombs, Dr. Darren McDermot . After seeing scavengers in the park, McDermot worked to create a strong yet tameable species that would defend the facility, but instead created a violent subspecies of deathclaw called the " gatorclaw ". McDermot was driven out of the facility as the cloning process spiraled out of control, mass-producing gatorclaws and setting them loose in the area. [2] [3] This infestation has so far remained within the walls of Safari Adventure as of 2287, but has also prevented the establishment of any settlements by traders or raiders . The only peaceful inhabitants remaining in the zone are a family of primates and a human named Cito .

Safari Adventure is an enclosed section of the park infested with gatorclaws and other creatures. The main entrance is to the south, and a back entrance formed by a river running through a gap in the wall is to the northwest.

Starting from the main entrance, following the west wall northward leads first to a pair of smaller abandoned structures, with a Nuka-mixer station next to the concession kiosk. Farther north is the Jungle Journey Theater , with a small maintenance shed holding an armor workbench behind it to the west. North of the amphitheater is a small café with a boat on the roof and a cooking stove inside, and a pair of boarded-up restrooms to the west. North of the café is the reptile house , and just a little farther north is the back entrance to the zone, which leads to the Angry Anaconda construction site.

Starting again from the main entrance, going straight north leads to the Welcome Center and a fight between Cito and a gatorclaw. North of the Welcome Center is a group of cages, and still farther north is a hedge maze that leads to Cappy's treehouse and a hidden Cappy clue . To reach the treehouse, from the maze entrance, take a right, a left, another left, and then hug the left wall until the elevator to the treehouse is found. To reach the clue, from the maze entrance, take a right, another right, a left, and then continue down the path until the end. Finally, north of the maze on the far side of the river running east-west through the northern section of the zone is a bear cave in a caged area.

Starting once again from the main entrance, following the south wall eastward leads first to a small market featuring another Nuka-mixer station next to a concession stand. From there, continuing east and then north past a pair of boarded-up restrooms and a water tower leads to the primate house . Another hidden Cappy clue can be found behind the gorilla statue in front of the primate house by walking through a hole in the hedge to the right of the primate house entrance. North of the primate house is a bridge over the river, beyond which is a small picnic area with benches, a concession stand, and several cages in a nearby building and behind the concession stand.
