The bus tour started at 3pm and took multiple detours off the route due to traffic. The tour ended up taking about 3 hours. We had to pay $52 to park the rental car for 4 hours, then we had to take a $35 taxi back to the starting location because they told us we had to exit the bus. They did not disclose that we would not get a ride back to the pickup spot. Since we (me and most of the guests) refused to tip, the guide called us “cheap” as we exited the bus. Die to storm our flight cancelled twice therefore I had to ask to move our reservation to the evening. They charged me 15 $ extra for each person to move my reservation to later hour. However they said it has to be a shorter boat ride which is 1 hour only and no guide through the trip. I accepted since we have very limited time in Miami. We rushed to catch the boat with my children, paid 65& for the cap to be on time. When we arrived to the given location, there was no boat and no agent. We were the only one waiting. The boat came late, then took our reservation details but did not take us in since we were the only passenger. It was a water taxi and it is obvious that it is not their main job to make a tour. I tried to get help from the contact person from the company via whatsapp. I explained the situation, asked if they could switch us to a boat that will operate. The person who is called Indira could not help although she was very capable when she was charging extra 15$/person on the phone earlier. I called tripadviser costumer service and explained the situation. They tookquite a long time while I was paying for my internation number. They started the process of refund for the original amount which is not included the extra I paid for moving our boat reservation. For the rest of us, exactly before our tour they changed our big boat to water taxi it was terrible so small not good at all. The 5.30 booking was postponed to 6.30 & we were informed in the morning about it. There is lots to do in the area with Pier 5 market place , Miami Skyview & restaurants along the Pier so we our spent time having cocktails ( best time to do it) . The cruise was wonderful with lovely weather & lots of photo ops. We got to view the Miami skyline & millionaire / celebrity homes in the Palm, Hibiscus, Star, Fisher islands for 90 mins. Everyone initially got on the wrong boat and it was a passenger who pointed that out and made sure that everyone got off and onto the correct boat. The women working for the tour company did not notice and, once it was determined that people were on the wrong boat, djd not notify people that they needed to change boats. The guide who narrated the tour was excellent. I wish there was a way to tip him other than with cash as many do not travel with cash these days. Other tours I have been on have had a Venmo option or QR code that passengers can scan in order to tip the guides. The staff and experience were beyond exceptional!!!!! A third party booking platform that Tripadvisor is using cancelled our reservations w/o our knowledge the day of the excursion. The ladies at the front desk did everything in their power to get us on a boat and they succeeded. The experience underwater was breathtaking and the crew we sailed with went out of their way to make sure we had the best experience. *If you wish to re-schedule or cancel your reservation, you must do it with at least 24 hours in advance. If you are making a reservation for the same day, or out of our 24 hours in advance policy, the client accepts there are no reschedules, cancellations or refunds.

• Routes and durations might change subject to weather conditions.
• We only accept rescheduling reservations and cancelations at least 24 hours earlier. If you miss doing this in the given time frame, you cannot reschedule or lose your ticket. No-shows also cannot reschedule, and we cannot refund their tickets. Same-day reservations and those outside the 24-hour advance policy don’t come with rescheduling, cancelation, and refund benefits.
• If you make reservations outside the 24-hour cancelation policy, we consider it a final sale. It means that you cannot change the timings, cancel, or ask for refunds.

One of our favorite Orlando boat tours is in Winter Park. It was established in the 1930s, decades before Walt Disney World opened in Lake Buena Vista.

This pontoon boat tour starts near the well-known Park Avenue area. Set out on your scenic cruise from Lake Osceola to the Winter Park Chain of Lakes as your guide takes you through the manmade canals.

Sail past stunning homes in Winter Park, where you will have breathtaking views of the opulent private homes in the area (which is one of the reasons we enjoy the boat tour).

You will have a chance to see wonderful some of Florida’s beautiful birds, like Blue Herons and large cranes, as you travel on several lakes. 

Each boat holds a maximum of 18 passengers. Be sure to bring cash or a check to buy your tickets because credit cards are not accepted. We advise purchasing tickets in the morning on weekends, even if you plan on going later in the day. It’s a very popular tour, and tickets often sell out quickly. 

Winter Park Scenic Boat Tour is closed on Christmas Day. Otherwise, tours leave daily on the hour, starting at 10:00 am. The last tour is at 4:00 pm.

One of our favorite destinations from Central Florida is 45 minutes north: the quaint town of Mount Dora . There’s so much to see and do there in the afternoon or morning; a boat tour is the best way to extend your trip to a whole day. 

Take a 2-hour pontoon boat tour with a departure point at the historic hotel, the Lakeside Inn. Enjoy your leisurely cruise around Lake Dora and The Harris Chain of Lakes, including the famed Dora Canal.

The all-weather 25’ boats can cruise rain or shine thanks to their retractable clear covers for the sides of the boat. Choose from one of two daytime tours, or their third option to cruise during sunset. 

Clearwater Beach with Dolphin Encounter Cruise

This 12-hour full-day tour begins with pick-up at 7:30 am. You’ll head west of Orlando to the popular Florida destination (Clearwater Beach), where you will take a cruise to encounter bottlenose dolphins in their natural habitat. 

While this means that you aren’t guaranteed to spot dolphins, your tour guide will do his or her very best to find them. You may see these beautiful mammals up close by the boat or further in the distance if they appear in the ocean. Part of the fun is the anticipation. 

A one-hour dolphin tour boat ride is sandwiched between hours of free time on a Gulf Coast beach. For only $10 more, you can purchase a wristband for the boat ride that allows you to have unlimited beer, wine, and vodka punch. 

Pickup and drop off are included at one of three major locations of your choice (Disney areas included). This means that all you have to do is sign up for the tour and be at that location for pick-up time.

You’ll do a self-guided tour after the kayak company representative meets you and gives you a laminated map and some brief instructions. Paddle near Cypress Trees and see turtles, ducks, birds, and a chance to see manatees during the winter season, when they swim to Florida’s warm waters.
