She’s all we wanna be.
Singer Tate McRae , who released her iconic debut album “I used to think I could fly” in May 2022 just announced an accompanying tour for the album a little over a year it hit the shelves.
The pop singer’s recently expanded 23-concert ‘Are We Flying Tour’ launches at Chicago’s Riviera Theatre on Sept. 5 and includes two stops at New York City’s Rooftop at Pier 17 on Tuesday, Sept. 19 and Wednesday, Sept. 20 .
And for fans who can’t wait to hear McRae’s best-selling debut album live, we’re happy to report you can scoop up tickets for all of her upcoming gigs as soon as today.
Better yet, some of the shows have shockingly affordable tickets available.
At the time of publication, we found some going for as low as as $27 before fees on Vivid Seats.
While that price is a bit of an outlier — most venues have tickets starting in the $50 to $130 before fees neighborhood — it is proof that if you can keep an eye on the calendar, prices may fluctuate in your favor.
Still, the venues on this particular tour are smaller than you might expect for the rising star so we suggest securing tickets now while they’re available.
It’s really dealer’s choice here.
Need more info on when and where you can hear McRae perform her mega-hits like “you broke me first,” “that way,” “she’s all i wanna be” and more live?
Keep scrolling.
We’ve got everything you need to know and more about McRae’s 2023 ‘Are We Flying Tour’ below.
All prices listed above are subject to fluctuation.

They offer a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and your tickets will be delivered prior to the event.

Tate McRae, Daniel Caesar and Aysanabee Win Major Awards at 2024 Juno Opening Night Awards: Full Winners List
The beaches, new west, sza and others also won at the first night of the junos, which set records for most indigenous nominees and most first-time nominees this year..
Tate McRae won both major awards she was nominated for at the 2024 Juno Opening Night Awards, which was livestreamed from the Halifax Convention Centre on Saturday (March 23). The Calgary-born breakout superstar continued her big year both in Canada and internationally, one that included a major Billboard chart hit and appearing on the cover of Billboard . She won single of the year for "greedy" and artist of the year, though the California-based singer was not in attendance to accept either award.
McRae performed at last year's ceremony and was nominated for five 2023 awards but didn't win any of them, but 2024 brought her to even bigger heights with the release of her album Think Later . She's also nominated for the TikTok Juno Fan Choice Award on the main Juno Awards telecast on Sunday (March 24), which gives her the chance to win four this year.

Several breakout Canadian stars earned accolades at the Opening Night Awards. According to Allan Reid, President & CEO of the JUNO Awards, 2024 had the most submissions in Juno Awards history, which led to 90 first-time nominees.
Aysanabee won for both songwriter of the year and alternative album of the year for Hear and Now , and talked about his rags-to-riches journey. "I grew up in a trailer in North Ontario without electricity or running water," he said. "And now I'm here."
Until recently, it was rare for Indigenous musicians to win Junos outside of the Indigenous category, but that's begun to change as First Nations artists have made a major impact in the country's music industry. Aysanabee shouted out Amanda Rheaume and ShoShona Kish, who founded the female and Indigenous-owned label Ishkodé Records. He recognized that this was the most Indigenous artists who had ever been nominated, and invited them all to stand up.
Despite his two wins, he actually lost in the Contemporary Indigenous Artist or Group of the Year category to Quebec's Elisapie, whose album Inuktitut reimagines classic pop and rock hits in the title language. Peguis First Nation singer-songwriter William Prince's Stand in the Joy won for contemporary roots album of the year.
The Beaches and Charlotte Cardin both had their first American chart hits since last year's Junos, and both won major awards this year. The Beaches won for rock album of the year for Blame My Ex, while Cardin won for pop album of the year for 99 Nights . The Montreal-based Cardin led all artists for most nominations this year and will have a chance to win two more on Sunday for the popular-voted fan choice and for the year's biggest award, album of the year. "This is so cool!" she said, accepting the award.
New West won for breakthrough group of the year and joked that they were a "very very famous TikTok band." Co-hosts Aba Amuquandoh and Damhnait Doyle, both CBC personalities, earlier commented that being an artist in 2024 often meant becoming a TikTok star or being rediscovered by a new generation, but that Canadians "punch above our weight" because of both hustle and support from government arts funding. That's under the microscope in the industry right now during an updating of the Broadcasting Act . The event also recognized this year’s Walt Grealis Special Achievement Award to music executive, author and lawyer Chip Sutherland, one of the architects of the Radio Starmaker Fund, which helps launch emerging Canadian artists with support from radio.
Winning electronic album of the year for INFINITY CLUB , Bambii talked about the unparalleled strength of Toronto's underground scene, "the real Toronto," and implored journalists and industry stakeholders to "do your research" and dig deeper.

Jade Eagleson
The Country Music Association of Ontario has announced the nominations for its 12th annual CMAOntario Awards, with Jade Eagleson racking up five nominations. The awards will be presented on June 2 at the Living Arts Centre in Mississauga.
Jade Eagleson is poised to win big at the CMAOntario Awards , presented by the Country Music Association of Ontario.
The "Rodeo Queen" singer picked up five awards nominations today, including Single of the Year, Album/EP of the Year, and Male Artist of the Year — the most nominations of any artist. Eagleson is followed by sibling duo The Reklaws, rising artists Josh Ross and Karli June, and mainstay Meghan Patrick, who all have four nominations each.
Eagleson, the 29 year-old from Bailieboro, Ontario, won Entertainer of the Year and Male Artist of the Year at last fall's CCMA Awards and might prove hard to beat. Ross, who's up against Eagleson for Male Artist, Single of the Year, and Fan Choice, won Breakthrough Artist at the CCMAs last fall, while The Reklaws took home the award for Top Selling Canadian Album.
Country is a hot genre right now in Canada and North America. Live Nation Canada recently launched a major new country festival, Coast City Country , set to have its first edition in Vancouver this April. Country stars are also climbing the Canadian Hot 100. Ross, nominated for his song "Trouble," has spent nine weeks on the Hot 100 this year with his single "Ain't Doin' Jack." Owen Riegling, whose "Old Dirt Roads" is currently No. 69 on the chart, picked up three CMAOntario nominations for the song.
In Canada, the Maple Blues Awards are facing criticism after Black musicians came away empty-handed from last month's awards. Notably, all of the most-nominated artists at the CMAOntario awards are white, an indicator of the ongoing barriers and prejudice artists of colour face in the music industry, and in country music in particular. Beyoncé recently became the first Black woman to have a No. 1 on Billboard 's Hot Country Songs chart with single "Texas Hold 'Em," prompting conversations about racism in country music as some have refused to take the superstar's country recordings seriously.
CMAOntario members will vote for the winners ahead of the awards ceremony on June 2, at the Living Arts Centre in Mississauga. The awards ceremony will be hosted by Jason McCoy of Pure Country Radio and singer Teigen Gayse, and takes place during the CMAOntario Festival & Awards Weekend, which features conversations with songwriters, a street fair, a tailgate party and more.

Vodka Museum Tour with transport (excursion only)
Lena, our guide in Moscow was excellent. She was very knowledgable and could answer any question we had for her. We liked that she could pick up on our interests and take us places we might not have thought of to go. When we realized that one of the places we had chosen to see would probably not be that interesting to us, she was able to arrange entry to the Diamond Fund and the Armoury for us. Riding the Metro with Lena was a real adventure and a lot of fun. In Saint Petersburg we found Anna well versed in the history of the Tsars and in the Hermitage collection. Arkady in Veliky Novgorod was a very good guide and answered all of our questions with ease. Novgorod was perhaps a long way to go for a day trip, but we did enjoy it. Vasily was a great driver to have and kept us safe with good humour and skill. We enjoyed ourselves so much, my daughter says she is already planning to return. We would both have no hesistation to recommend ExpresstoRussia to anyone we know.
Just wanted to let you know that My grandson Bruno and I couldn´t have been more pleased with our week in Moscow (6/15 - 6/21). We were absolutely enchanted with the whole experience, including getting lost a couple of times in the Metro during our free time. Although both our guides (both Eleanas) were excellent, I would particularly commend the first one (she took us to the Tatiakov, the KGB tour, and to that beautiful cemetery where so many great Russian artists, authors, composers, musicians, militarists, and politicians are buried). Her knowledge is encyclopedic; and her understanding of today´s Russia as a product of its past was, for us, truly enlightening. I will be taking another tour in Russia, with my wife, within the next two or three years. I will be in touch with you when the time comes. Moscow, a City Like No Other
Moscow is Russia’s largest city with a population of between 12 and 13 million. It is also Europe’s largest city and when you visit Moscow, you can feel it. The layout and architecture of the city is eclectic, ranging from crooked, ancient streets and alleyways to wide, bustling boulevards, from medieval churches to Stalin skyscrapers and to modern, glass buildings towering over everything and of course in the center of it all is the Kremlin and the magnificent Red Square. Moscow is also home to a fantastic, efficient and very beautiful metro system – each station having its own special design. In fact, Express to Russia’s Moscow metro tours and excursions are some of our most popular attractions that we offer. On our Moscow tours, you will see this and more.
Moscow Tours centering on Russian History
Moscow has a long and interesting history and has been the capital of Russia in many of its different iterations – capital of the Grand Duchy of Moscow , the Russian Empire and of course the Soviet Union (who could ever forget the Soviet Union?). Moscow, was founded in the 12th century by Prince Yuri Dolgaruki (Yuri of the long arms – he really did have long arms!). From that time on, it was home to the Russian Tsars until Peter the Great moved the capital to St. Petersburg in 1703. The city has survived invasions and sieges from the Mongols, the Tartars, the Poles, Lithuanians and Napoleon but has always persevered. Our Moscow tours will enlighten you on this great history and give you insights into Muscovites and their unique culture. Our Moscow tours show you what the city is like today but also brings to life the past. Moscow never seems to sleep and is bursting with energy. A Moscow tour with Express to Russia is truly the best way of getting to know Russia’s largest and most vibrant city.
Frequently Asked Questions From Our Travelers
What is the best time to visit moscow.
Any time of year is fine depending on what you plan to do. Summertime is pleasantly warm, ideal for exploring the city and its vibrant atmosphere, but Moscow will be much busier and accommodation is more expensive. Winter can be quite cold but beautiful nonetheless, and this is unproblematic if you intend to spend most of your trip in museums and galleries. There are also various festivals and events organised throughout the year. For more information about the best time to visit, read our guide
How many days are enough in Moscow?
If you plan your itinerary strategically and aren’t averse to a packed schedule, you can cover Moscow’s main sights over a long weekend. Most popular attractions are in the city centre, and the Moscow Metro allows you to cover much ground in a small amount of time. Ensure that your accommodation is fairly central and book tickets in advance, so that you can make the most of your days. For an informative and well-organised day out, check out our Moscow day tours with options to suit all interests.
Do they speak English in Moscow?
As Russia’s capital city, tourists are well accommodated in Moscow. There should be English-speaking staff in restaurants, bars, hotels, shops and attractions in tourist hotspots, and there are also English-speaking tourist police. Transport services have English translations on their maps and English announcements via intercom; alternatively, order taxis from the Yandex Taxi app (Russian Uber), though it’s unlikely that your taxi driver will speak English. If you get stuck and cannot communicate, it’s fine to use Google Translate.
Is it safe to travel to Moscow?
It is no less safe to travel to Moscow than to any European city if you exercise common sense and look after your belongings. As with every city some regions can be more unsavoury than others, but no tourist attractions are located there. The traffic in Moscow is notorious, so exercise caution when crossing roads. Do not take unlicensed taxis; book in advance or take public transport, which is widespread and perfectly safe. If you encounter any problems, look for the special tourist police who can help you. The sprawling, mind-boggling metropolis of Russian Moscow has long been one of the theatrical stages on which the great dramas of Europe and Asia have been played out in grand style. Burned by Napoleon in 1812, immortalised by Tolstoy, utilised by the Bolsheviks and championed as a bastion of heroic defiance by the post-war communists, it’s almost hard to believe just how defining the historical events that found their home on Moscow’s streets have been. Moscow tour guides will easily be able to mark the major must-see landmarks on the map, from the onion-domed orthodox Saint Basil's Cathedral, to the political powerhouse of Red Square just next door, while others will be quick to recommend a ride on Moscow’s famous subterranean metro system, or a visit to the UNESCO-attested Novodevichy Convent on the city’s southern side. But Moscow is a city also in the throes of a cultural wrangling between the old and the new. Creative energies abound here: Boho bars and pumping super clubs now occupy the iconic mega structures of the old USSR; high-fashion outlets, trendy shopping malls and luxurious residential districts stand as testimony to a city that’s now the undisputed playground of the world’s super-rich, while sprawling modern art museums dominate the cultural offering of the downtown districts north of the Moskva River.
