Logic, born January 22nd 1990 is a rapper from Maryland, USA. In the last five years, he has built up a loyal Internet following, and is signed to Visionary Music Group and Def Jam Recordings.

Sir Robert Bryson Hall II, better known by his pseudonym, Logic, was born in Gaithersburg, Maryland. He comes from humble beginnings, and didn’t graduate from high school. He began skipping classes in the tenth grade, when he started to do badly in every class. He was later expelled, but he used his new found free time to pursue his music career in full force.

At the young age of 13, Logic met his mentor, Solomon Taylor. When he was sixteen, Taylor brought him a bundle of CDs with beats on to write over. At the time, he was going by the name “Psychological” which is a word that he really identified with, and released an unofficial mixtape entitled “Psychological: The Mixtape” A couple of years on, and Logic opened for Pitbull, Ludacris and Method Man at a show in Maryland. Shortly after, he decided to go by the name Logic instead.

On Decemeber 17th 2010, Logic released his first official mixtape entitled “Young, Broke and Infamous”, and two music videos alongside it for “Stain in the Game” and “Backpack”. It caught the attention of Chris Zarou, who wanted Logic to be a part of his upstart independent record label Visionary Music Group. It was his second mixtape “Young Sinatra” that really caught the attention of the masses, with songs such as “All I Do” and “Prime”. The “All I Do” video was the first video for Logic to reach over a million views on YouTube. By this point he had started a fire so big that it caught the attention of Def Jam, he took the next step in his career by signing with them, and on May 7th 2013, Logic released his fourth official mixtape, “Young Sinatra: Welcome to Forever”, which reached 100,000 downloads in 24 hours. He embarked on a tour with Kid Cudi, Big Sean and Tyler, the Creator on “The Cud Life Tour 2013”.

Most recently, on September 15th 2014, Logic released a singled called “Under Pressure” which he declared was the title track of an album that he released on October 21st 2014.

Live reviews

I can’t think of many rappers who have the title of ‘Sir’ before their name, and this is one of the many things that makes Sir Robert Bryson Hall II stand out from the crowd. Logic initially gained a large internet following, before releasing his critically acclaimed mix tape Young Sinatra: Welcome Forever. Making a break through YouTube is an incredible challenge, and a real reflection of Logic’s rapping talent.

Logic is an incredible performer. He flawlessly flows through his beats and tunes, never slipping up or missing a lyric. Speaking of which, the powerful lyrics of this tracks really come to life in a live performance, and resonate even more deeply with the audience when you can hear it first hand. When he sang Walk On By, he had the crowd joining in and going crazy. He really knows how to motivate a crowd and get them on his side. I completely lost track of time, and the concert flew by. I would say, if you get the chance to see him, make sure it’s a long set!

I’m absolutely gutted that I saw him before the release of his epic debut album just this month, but that’s as good a reason as any for me to go back and see the genius perform again.

Chase Center SF 10/13/19 - Great show!! If you're at all concerned about his slow, jazzy, self-reflective numbers, don't be! The show was 100% energy. He ripped through his up tempo, rapid fire flow hits. Too many rappers won't do that fast rap live, Logic not only does it live, he does it every song. He even did the first half of his Homicide verse 5 or 6 times in a gimmick to get the audience jumping. Really fun show. YBN Cordae and JID opened, both were cool and fun to watch. Each came out for a song during Logic's set and you could really see the difference in how Logic completely commanded the stage. A little stiff and scripted with his crowd interaction, but seemed very genuine. Not a fan of huge venues (although the Chase Center is spectacular) but would see Logic again in a heartbeat.

Logic was great!! The other headliner sings about screwing girls in a pretty misogynistic way, but Logic just spreads peace, love, and positivity. He was super energetic and got the crowd pumped up. He produced new beats on stage which was awesome and he brought out his notebook where he had written new lyrics to perform for us. So humbling to witness the process in addition to the product! I would love to see him at a smaller venue where he could really connect with the crowd. Also, it's so cool to hear him rap at ridiculously fast paces. He's got superb talent and you should listen to his stuff and then go to his shows and experience the awe that comes with witnessing this amazing performer.

Best show I've been to! The vibes were amazing and everyone was truly there for the music. Logic is all about peace, love, and positivity and he brings that to the stage. He really loves his fans and encouraged everyone to treat each other like family. He gave shout outs to young kids in the crowd and even brought a couple girls on stage to rap with him.

Someone in the middle of the crowd got hurt and he immediately stopped the music and everything and had everyone clear a path and the security team carried the guy out to safety within seconds.

Support this amazing artist and get your tickets. I will never miss a Logic show!!

It was awesome! A lot of people got there pretty early to start lining up. It didn't take too long to see him perform and even if it did, it was worth it! When they let us in, they played the live recording of Jimmy Kimmel, and after that, some guy came out to get us hyped up. The music started playing and it went over like twice so the cameras can record good shots and footage from different angles. Once Logic came out, everyone was so hyped! He performed extra songs after the ones he needed to do for the show. He talked to us separately and preached good shit. He's a great artist and a great individual.

This is my second concert, but my first hip-hop concert. I was blown away and I feel like it didn't even happen.

Logic has so much energy and he relates to his fans . I will never forget this experience. He looked up at me and asked my name and age. Then shouted me out to the whole audience and everyone started to scream .

This is one of the best concerts I have been to and I will definitely go again as VIP . Also Ansel Elgort was there . I saw him, but I didn't know it was him , he was just in the audience .

Logic is the best and I hope he never stops doing what he is doing .

I went to see Logic quite a while back in January and the Rave in Milwaukee WI, and it was one of the best experiences in my life. The down to earth sensation you get from Logic as a whole is so rare to find among the hip hop community and I was honored to even be in the same room as him. Not only was Logic amazing, but Micheal Christmas opened for him and now he is defiantly one of my favorite people. If you ever get the opportunity to go see Logic I definitely recommend it, and can't wait until he tours again.

Logic I dont even know if words can describe how good he was , but I will try . His performance hands down was amazing , outstanding such a great performer. He went down the stage just to shake a little kids hand, he was so humble and nice to him it melted my heart & everyone else who was at power house. Logic is not just a great performer but also a good person from heart ! Always gonna be a logic fan ! So worth going to see and being front row would be so worth it.

absolutely amazing. the environment was so positive. everyone in there was going crazy even some people on the balcony were going crazy. And Logics performance was like nothing I've ever seen before;absolutely amazing. And the best thing about it was that he was interacting with his fans in the crowd also. he made it feel like we were all really family like he said. loved all of it. Also his dj's set was so much fun. if you weren't there you should've been there.

Concert Review: Logic Brings a Rousing Message of ‘Peace, Love and Positivity’ to Idaho

In Boise, the charismatic rapper addressed racial divides, but devoted just as much time to goofball moments with fans.

Tour Review: Logic Emphasizes Escapist Side on 'Bobby Tarantino' Tour

The Obama era may seem long distant in many ways, but it sure seemed like we were still in it this week if you happened to catch the rapper Logic , swinging through the very red state of Idaho halfway into a two-month headlining tour. Watching him genially command a worshipful crowd at Boise’s Idaho Center Amphitheatre, it was easy to be reminded of how he resembles a certain former chief commander, not least of all as the product of African American and Caucasian parents. Logic trades on that mixed identity more than the president ever did — his Twitter handle is Bobby Biracial — but you can see the similarities in less glaring ways, like how that inherent tension informs a vast charm that’s more hard-fought than it looks.

Anyway, that urge for bridge-gapping is going better for him than it often did for Obama. He’s riding high on the approval ratings of two successive No. 1 albums, and if it weren’t for the even wilder popularity of Drake, everyone’s favorite Jewish African-Canadian, Logic would have a pretty clear shot at being hip-hop’s centrist-in-chief.

“Peace, love and positivity,” Logic had the crowd chant with him early on in his Boise set, and it wasn’t that long ago that that kind of phrasing would have had a hip-hop guy tossed out on his ear as some kind of Arrested Development revivalist. But the wide umbrella has reopened to the point that adjectives like congenial, convivial, affable and ingratiating are no longer automatic disqualifiers, and on the basis of Logic’s set Wednesday, he might be as hail-fellow-well-met an MC as anybody working in any genre right now. A good number of the nearly two dozen songs in the set were truncated, the better to leave more time for Logic to engage with the crowd — leading a birthday sing-along (after checking the girl’s ID), borrowing a pit photographer’s camera, shooting imaginary hoops with chosen audience members as human baskets, and inviting a cancer-stricken kid backstage after spotting his “Chemo at 11, Logic at 7” sign.

He’s so fan-friendly on stage, he makes Taylor Swift look like Lou Reed or Miles Davis by comparison. Swift, for her part, has never dedicated several minutes of her nightly set over to inviting a kid up on stage to compete in the Nintendo video game Street Fighter. Not that it’s necessarily strictly about good will — Logic’s DJ claimed that Boise’s teen fan, Leonardo, was the first to ever beat him on stage, and YouTube videos of Logic regularly tromping his fans at the game seem to bear that out.

At times, it seemed like the Goofiest Show on Earth. The music itself? Not Actually That Silly… most of the time, anyway. “I am polite than a motherf—a/ But when I grip that mic I get that mean,” he rapped on “Contra,” setting up his bifurcated stage presence fairly well. And even within the songs themselves, there’s a divide. If you were to judge Logic strictly an album-maker, looking at last year’s “Everybody,” for instance, you might think of him as a reasonably self-serious chronicler of racial tensions. He’s downplaying that sober side on this tour, maybe because the album he’s ostensibly touring behind is the recent party mixtape “Bobby Tarantino II,” or maybe because he knows showmen get better word-of-mouth than prophets.

The split was addressed at the outset, via a commissioned cartoon starring Adult Swim’s profanely inclined Rick and Morty, seen arguing on a spaceship about whether Logic was escapist enough to be good cruising fare. “What Logic are we talking about here? Are we talking about mixtape Logic or album Logic?” asked Rick, favoring the former. His wishes were assuaged — the set included twice as many tracks from “Tarantino II” as “Everyday.” Some of the “Everyday” numbers were trimmed virtually in half, too, which was unfortunate in the case of a song as incendiary as “Take It Back.” But it was actually kind of welcome when it came to his biggest song, ironically, the suicide-awareness anthem “1-800-273-8255 ” — not because it’s a weak choice, but because Logic had no intention of dragging it out by playing a recording of Alessia Cara’s or Khalid’s parts in their absence.

Also dropped, notably: a key line in “Black SpiderMan” — the last part of “I ain’t ashamed to be white/ I ain’t ashamed to be black/ I ain’t ashamed of my beautiful Mexican wife, as a matter of fact” — reflecting the fact that Logic filed for divorce from Jessica Andrea less than four months ago. Personal asides were more upbeat: He talked about his new dog, Stoney, and the dog’s name’s none-too-surprising pot origins. Later, he spoke about taking up, giving up and then renewing adult piano lessons — his teacher has now been added as a keyboard player amid the DJs — and sat at the piano, joined by producer 6ix on acoustic guitar, to play an unreleased lost-love ballad he said is destined for the soundtrack to a novel he’s finished, “Supermarket” (Logic’s nascent singing has a ways to go to catch up with his rapping).

Logic reminded the crowd that the last time he’d been in the venue, five years ago, it’d been as the opening-opening act for Kid Cudi and Big Sean. For this headlining outing, he’s fronting a pretty strong triple bill of his own: Kyle (“iSpy”) was pure throwback to the most carefree days of early MTV hip-hop, while middle-billed NF (“Let You Down”) was all about the brooding; his positively Eminem-esque tones gave little indication of his past success in the Christian rap market, nor did the ironic Joker’s smile he initially wore across his hooded face.

Logic’s “Bobby Tarantino Vs Everybody” tour hits L.A.’s Forum on July 20 and Irvine’s Five Point Amphitheatre three nights later on the way to wrapping up its U.S. dates in St. Louis August 3.

How chief keef and mike, former rap prodigies, escaped the attention economy, the artists' eclectic new albums flaunt a creative freedom only found in rejecting the spotlight.

Chief Keef's new album with Mike WiLL Made-It, Dirty Nachos , shows just how far he's grown beyond the Chicago teen who stormed YouTube in 2012.

There's a moment on the forgotten 1994 Fugees debut, Blunted on Reality , where you can hear everything lock into place for a 18-year-old Lauryn Hill on a song called " Some Seek Stardom ." Listening now, it's easy to recognize the lyrical and ideological nucleus of her music forming — its spirituality and literacy, a focus on enlightened skill and a future as one of rap's peerless performers. Blunted on Reality flopped, but its all-in follow-up, 1996's The Score , broke rap open with Hill at its heart in a new capacity and set the stage for one of the more curious careers of the last few decades. I think often of Blunted on Reality , marked as a colossal failure even now, and what might have happened if Ruffhouse Records had pulled the plug instead of advancing the group $135,000 to take another crack at seeing their vision through. Perhaps they would have found another way, but such a scenario could have meant leaving all of Hill's latent possibility, and the nurture inherent to realizing it, frozen in an album few would ever hear.

Every rap generation produces a teen prodigy in line with its values. LL Cool J was 17 when he realized he couldn't live without his radio . MC Lyte had just received her learner's permit when she released one of the first songs of the crack era, " I Cram to Understand U ." Nas was the 17-year-old verbal assassin live at the barbecue . Andre and Big Boi signed to LaFace before their high school graduation and helped shift hip-hop's center southward from their friend's mom's basement. Wayne appeared on " Bling Bling " at 16, as the iced-out swagger of rap was reaching the zeitgeist. Chance made 10 Day at 18, ingratiating himself with a burgeoning online mixtape community in the twilight era of blogs. These are all stories of potential aligning with attention. In building upon expectations of themselves and of their class, each young artist seemed to realize the needs of the moment and, in doing so, push the culture forward.

But for every prodigy to successfully chart the path to a sustainable career, there is a gaggle of prospects lost to industry whims. Some burn bright and hot only to fizzle after one release, overwhelmed by the promise of their potential. Some allow initial perception to dictate how they move and become prisoners to the very idea of their music. Some find the attention of the spotlight searing and retreat into the shadows. Some just don't have the juice. The music industry shifting online has only exacerbated this kind of experience, opening the door wider for young hopefuls but making it far easier to get lost in the deluge of voices, or to lose one's own voice in straining to be heard above the noise. Denzel Curry and Doja Cat feel like testimonials for teen prospects staying the course and developing into the artists they were meant to be. Bishop Nehru and Tink feel like cautionary tales. Kodak Black is ... something in between. But all seem to be defined, in one capacity or another, by their relationship to the audience.

How Chicago rap became a home for controversial, visionary stars

Hip-Hop 50: All Rap Is Local

How chicago rap became a home for controversial, visionary stars.

Two new albums from former teen prodigies, the Chicago drill shapeshifter Chief Keef's Dirty Nachos with production from Mike WiLL Made-It, and the Slums collective co-founder MIKE's Pinball with Tony Seltzer, feel like evidence of a certain kind of viability that is possible only when operating outside the demands of the attention economy. Both rappers have carved out space for themselves along the industry's margins, and each demonstrates how doing so can allow an artist to not only redefine themselves, but sustain a meaningful career.

A few months before " Gangnam Style " broke YouTube open for good, Chief Keef's breakout hit, " I Don't Like ," found its own virality on the platform. Kanye came calling; Interscope, too — all off the strength of a mixtape being passed around Chicago high schools. Keef's debut album, Finally Rich , which remains his best seller, is one of the great drill albums, but in the shadow of a crumbling early '10s music infrastructure, it underperformed. When Interscope backed out of his deal, Keef spent the next decade exploring his obscure impulses. The druggy, bleating Almighty So became a foundational document for rappers like Playboi Carti and Lil Uzi Vert . Back from the Dead 2 became Keef's beatmaking playground for blaring synths and haunted chants. Nobody leaned further into abstraction. Thot Breaker flipped back to melodic R&B. Keef became as prolific as he was curious, never overly aware of the stakes.

New York rapper MIKE's latest album in a prolific and fiercely independent career is Pinball , with production by Tony Seltzer.

MIKE was born from a different sphere, the simplicity of his chosen name underlining a sincere and forthright approach. At 17, he emerged as an ace of lo-fi, turnstile-jumping New York rap, the chosen disciple of another great teen prodigy, Earl Sweatshirt . His 2017 debut, May God Bless Your Hustle , laid out his plans early on: "How I'm supposed to trust the path that's been doubling the stress?" he rapped of going to college. His anti-stress stance would also manifest in the way he flowed, a strained but assertive yowl that deepened into a resonant, groggy grumble over time. MIKE's subsequent releases have found him on an alternative path — still a thinker and a student, but one learning at his own pace, each album an opportunity for mantra, self-reflection and relief. It can feel like his music is simply the solemn space he's found to think out loud: If you're listening in, so be it, but don't expect to decipher every bit of arcane philosophy.

There are those who have deemed MIKE "lyrical" and Keef a "mumble rapper" — the former a mark of sophistication and intellect that purists exalt like a martyr's stigmata, the latter a pejorative insinuating an obtuse, braindead way of being (one that Keef, for his part, has embraced proudly ). Neither is a real thing, and neither has held totally true of the artists in question. You could credibly call MIKE a mumble rapper on songs like " Zap! " and " Iz U Stupid "; Keef has his fair share of explosive, technical performances, including verses on IDK 's " 17 wit a 38 " or Tobi Lou 's " Forecast ." In truth, both have always been impressionistic in their own ways, prioritizing mood over meaning, or rather, making meaning out of tone.

Still, there is always intention behind their writing, and on these recent albums, both are playing against type — Keef much more lucid, and MIKE decidedly looser, than their boosters hailed them as at the start of their careers. There has always been an unsteadiness in MIKE's music, and beneath that murmured viscosity lie koan-like kernels of truth (a personal favorite of mine, which feels pertinent here, from the tears of joy song " Whole Wide World ": "I seen n****s losing sense, tryna gain listens / Nothing changes when you working with the same vision"). But the flexible, immersive Pinball fully embraces the thrill of burying the pearls in the sand and letting the waves unearth them, pushing away from classicist ideas of high lyricism and playing directly into trap aesthetics. The slurred flows of " Skurrr " and " 2k24 Tour " are as much about the sloshing motion of the cadences as they are the sprinkled bits of lore you must concentrate to hear; on the former, he raps, "You know this game will get malicious, and I got stories," and on the latter, "I'm the product of greed and destruction," each line benefiting from what remains unsaid. Pinball has all of the wisdom of a MIKE record, but trades in pathos for gratification, reaping the spoils of his effort. He has been pegged as a sensitive wordsmith seeking catharsis in music that warms like a weighted blanket — and he can be that, but it is refreshing to hear an artist choose to disrupt the calcifying perception of their work.

Keef makes a habit of following his whims to the fringes of the rap ecosystem, so it tracks that Dirty Nachos is an ode to blog-era mixtape culture, with Trap-A-Holics drops and song promos and sonic nods to pivotal trap fixtures. It feels natural that he'd shirk the streaming economy by embracing a model it killed off, and that, as many of his peers are delving deeper into distortion, he would follow up the shout-raps of 2021's 4NEM with some of the most matter-of-fact rapping of his career. Unlike MIKE, Keef is no stranger to these sounds, but in turning back the clock, he demonstrates just how aware he is of history, just how much ground he has covered, and just what his maturing voice is capable of. In his many turns, Keef seems to run through the modes inherent to the form: goofy, sneering, zonked-out, excitable and cavalier, sometimes all at once. Dirty Nachos is full of preening verses — where his son thinks he's a genie, where he ducks the Illuminati, where he plays headhunter on the trail of George Zimmerman — all paraded through unbelievable Mike WiLL Made-It beats that feel like careful reconstructions from DatPiff classics. (Mike WiLL, in his role, invokes Shawty Redd, Nard & B, Southside, Lex Luger and a few of his own prototypes.) The clarity is as much the point as the flexing: Keef sounds like someone secure in his position, aware of the past and free from it, whose station is assured no matter who is listening.

In each artist's case, the refusal to demand your attention becomes part of the appeal. You could drop in on Chief Keef at nearly any point in his career and discover something interesting, some provocation, as if he's tagged the abandoned mall and is welcoming all passersby to admire his work. MIKE has amassed a trove of records that feel hidden in plain sight, a collection akin to the works of independent directors like Gregg Araki. Both rappers have catalogs that seem to defy the logic of the current market. But bearing witness to what they've become, I think of Keef and MIKE not as exceptions to the rule, but as proof of what is possible when talent is allowed to develop on its own terms. So much of the music apparatus now is dependent on grabbing and holding as much focus as possible, and there is plenty of good work being done under those conditions. Still, there should still be space for artists with little regard for self-promotion.

What's encouraging about these rappers is that both seem to be doing fine operating in this way. Despite all of the inherent risk to their approaches, freelancing amid the never-ending churn of playlists with cycles that end quicker than they began and careers that evaporate into the feed with a single scroll, they have grown cult followings willing to shadow them on their adventures, making it easier to withstand the fickle nature of trends and discourse. For the artists, the payoff of these albums is the freedom to reimagine who they are without consequence — to have the reality of their art align with their vision, without losing their base. And for us, the payoff is getting to see that teenage potential realized, and our faith in that potential rewarded.

Megan Thee Stallion's first headlining tour will bring her to Little Caesars Arena on May 18, hot on the heels of her record-setting single "Hiss."

Tickets for shows on her Hot Girl Summer Tour, including Detroit, will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday. A presale for Citi cardholders will run from 1 p.m. Wednesday through 10 p.m. Thursday.

The Houston hip-hop star will be joined by rising rapper GloRilla as opener for most dates on the 31-city run, which will kick off May 14 in Minneapolis and make its way to Europe in July. Detroit is the third stop on the tour.

"Hiss," released in January, clocked the biggest global opening week by a female rapper. The wide-ranging diss track took shots at assorted artists ― most notably Megan Thee Stallion's onetime friend and now rival Nicki Minaj, who will be making her own LCA visit on April 20.

Presale tickets to U.S. shows on the tour will become available to Citi cardholders beginning Wednesday at 1 p.m. through Thursday at 10 p.m., via the Citi Entertainment program . An artist presale will start Thursday at 1 p.m., and the general sale begins Friday at 10 a.m. on Megan’s website .

Tickets to some festivals where she’ll be performing, like Boston Calling and Bonnaroo, are already on sale.

“Get ready hotties it’s about to be a timeeee,” the rap star wrote on Instagram.

The tour will take the artist to Philadelphia, Napa and Boston before she lands in Baltimore. It will not be Megan Thee Stallion’s first visit to Charm City, however. She performed in 2022 for the inaugural Preakness Live festival , alongside co-headliner Ms. Lauryn Hill.

Last month, Megan Thee Stallion’s song “HISS” debuted at the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100. It also became the first solo female rap song to debut at the top of the Billboard Global 200, and set a record for the “biggest first week for a solo female rap song in history,” according to a news release from Live Nation announcing her upcoming tour.

“Savage (Remix)” with Beyoncé and “WAP” with Cardi B also previously topped charts. Megan Thee Stallion has won numerous BET Awards and Billboard Music Awards.

'wap' rapper megan thee stallion picks minneapolis for her may 14 tour kickoff.

With Bad Bunny finally on his way to town again Saturday, Target Center has confirmed an appearance by another big hip-hop act who's overdue to perform in the Twin Cities since rocketing to fame.

Megan Thee Stallion will kick off her Hot Girl Summer Tour at the Minneapolis arena on May 14 with opener GloRilla. Tickets for the Tuesday night concert go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster , with presale options beginning Wednesday. Tour promoter Live Nation has not revealed ticket prices yet.

Best known for her bawdy megahit with Cardi B, "WAP," Houston native Megan Pete has racked up an impressive list of other charting singles over the past five years, also including "Hot Girl Summer," "Savage," "Body" and her current hit, "Hiss."

This will be the 29-year-old rapper's first arena headlining tour, but she has plenty of experience playing big stages after high-profile appearances at festivals such as Coachella and Bonnaroo. Her opening act on the tour, aka Memphis native Gloria Woods, is another saucy MC who's had a hit with Cardi B, "Tomorrow 2."

Chris Riemenschneider has been covering the Twin Cities music scene since 2001, long enough for Prince to shout him out during "Play That Funky Music (White Boy)." The St. Paul native authored the book "First Avenue: Minnesota's Mainroom" and previously worked as a music critic at the Austin American-Statesman in Texas.

Megan Thee Stallion to go on Hot Girl Summer Tour with rapper GloRilla: How to get tickets

logic tour rapper

Megan Thee Stallion is hissing to a city near you on the Hot Girl Summer Tour.

The Houston native and "Hiss" hitmaker will embark on a 31-city worldwide tour, produced by Live Nation, featuring Grammy-nominated "Yeah Glo!" rapper GloRilla . The arena tour marks Megan Thee Stallion's first time headlining.

The summer tour comes amid a comeback year for the rapper. Her latest single "Hiss" debuted atop the No. 1 on Billboard's Hot 100 last month and the song now owns the record for the biggest first week for a solo female rap song ever. She previously topped the list with her "Savage Remix" alongside Beyoncé and her Cardi B collaboration "WAP."

Megan Thee Stallion hits No. 1 on Billboard Hot 100 with 'Hiss' amid Nicki Minaj feud

In its first week, "Hiss" garnered 29.2 million first-week streams, 2.9 million radio airplay audience impressions and 104,000 downloads,  according to Billboard . This year, she inked a one-and-first-of-its-kind agreement with Warner Music Group where she will release music independently with assistance from WMG. The agreement allows Megan Thee Stallion to retain ownership over her masters and publishing.

The upcoming tour also follows an ongoing feud featuring lyrics from "Hiss," which takes aim at her hip-hop peers after a series of personal controversies and crises over the past few years.
