Cruise to Sydney, Australia
Sydney shore excursions, amazing experiences coming soon., sorry, there are no excursions for this port at this moment., things to do in sydney.
Go in Circles
Sydney Harbour Bridge. Australia.
Circular Quay is the perfect place to start exploring Sydney. You can find the Opera House here, and Harbour Bridge is within walking distance. Stride into one of the many walking and pub tours that leave from here. Just 20 minutes away, you can stretch your legs on the iconic Harbour Bridge walk, the first of its kind in the world.
People enjoying Manly beach in Sydney, Australia
Bondi Beach gets all the attention, but Manly Beach in the Northern Beaches is a bit more local. The Corso is lined with shops and restaurants, including local favorite, Hugo's. If surfing is your thing, this is the place to be. The walk from Spit Bridge to Manly is a fantastic way to soak in the city's coastline.
Walk Watsons
Hop on the ferry or one of the regular buses that go to Watsons Bay to enjoy the scenic hike around South Head. During your journey, you'll enjoy views of Sydney Harbour, North Head, the historic Hornby Lighthouse and, of course, the sapphire-blue Pacific Ocean. The Gap offers breathtaking views of the sea from the rocky cliffside.
Local Cuisine
With all the water surrounding you, it's no surprise seafood takes center stage on many plates in the city. Head to Sydney Fish Market for giant Sydney Rock oysters or classic fish and ships. Stop into a local pie shop for a traditional Australian meat pie, or explore Sydney's international side with udon or ramen noodles at a Japanese noodle bar, or seek out shrimp dumplings in Chinatown.
There are plenty of shopping malls in the heart of the city, including Westfield Mall, Pitt Street Mall and the wonderful Queen Victoria Building, which is now a shopping mall featuring top designers. Seek out cutting boards made from local camphor laurel — they're not only beautiful but also have natural antimicrobial properties. During your Sydney cruise vacation, look for jewelry made from opal, the national gemstone of Australia.

Royal Caribbean's 9-month world cruise rerouted amid Red Sea attacks
Royal Caribbean International is rerouting its nine-month world cruise amid continued attacks in the Red Sea.
The line’s Ultimate World Cruise, currently sailing on the line’s Serenade of the Seas ship, was set to transit through the Suez Canal in May. The vessel will now sail one of two alternate routes – and passengers get a say.
“In keeping with the adventurous spirit of our guests, we are engaging them for their thoughts and preference between two alternative itineraries that will take them on an epic adventure to Africa,” a Royal Caribbean spokesperson told USA TODAY in an emailed statement. “They will receive compensation for the adjustment, and guests who prefer to not sail on the updated itinerary will receive a full refund and support for their travel arrangements.”
The spokesperson did not immediately respond to an additional question about how much passengers would be compensated.
The news comes as luxury line Crystal made similar changes to avoid the Red Sea, canceling a March 27 cruise on Crystal Symphony from Mumbai to Piraeus. The line is also rerouting multiple segments of Crystal Serenity’s 2024 world cruise , though the sailing’s length and its June 8 end date will remain the same.
“We are in the process of notifying all impacted guests on both ships,” Crystal said in a statement on Friday. “We greatly appreciate our guests and crew for their understanding and patience during this process.”
Was your cruise itinerary changed?: Here's what to do next
The Iranian-backed Houthis have launched repeated attacks on commercial and naval vessels in the Red Sea amid the Israel-Hamas war . The Yemen-based militants have claimed they are showing solidarity with the Palestinians, but experts say there is more to their motivations .
Many other lines, including Virgin Voyages, MSC Cruises and Silversea Cruises, have recently canceled or rerouted sailings away from the area.
