The location was great! Close to most major attractions and restaurants. The hotel overlooks the Statue of Liberty replica. From the front of the hotel in the middle of the road, you can see the beautiful and amazing Eiffel Tower. Our room was a street view, we saw a movie being filmed. The room was not that big, good enough for two people. The most important thing was it was clean. I had one issue which took quite some time for the hotel staff to resolve. I was showering, and washing my hair, there was no shampoo in the dispenser. My husband called the housekeeper and they took about 30 minutes to bring up a new dispenser. It was painful, standing in the shower waiting. Overall the location of this hotel is in a very good area. Taxi/Uber is available right in front of the hotel.

This hotel is very conveniently located in the Beaugrenelle area, and offers excellent pricing in my opininion given the full 4-star amenities on offer. One particular highlight is the Bar La Seine, which is calm, professional, and just what one needs when winding down from a long day of business or indeed tourism. A large number of bespoke cocktails, and all the classics, are available here, and I have to say they are of very high quality. Barlady is excellent, here showing one of the venue's creations.

Very comfortable hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. After being out most of the day, ate in the hotel restaurant. Lovely food and good service. The only negative was the lifts. One day only two out of six were working at breakfast time,we had to go up to come down because there was no room going down! On the pro side when we booked in we were told we'd been up-graded from a room to a suite,( at the front of the hotel over looking the Seine).

Worst experience!!! I tried catch an elevator to go down but waited for 20mins, but could not go down. I had to go up all the way to 30th floor and come back down where stopping at every single floor. Total non-sense.

Big hotel with little personality. It's way too hot in the hotel, especially in the rooms eventhough it's only March. Windows can't be opened and airco didn't work. Very unpleasant to sleep in. Friendly staff at the reception and in the restaurant.

A small replica of the Statue of Liberty stands at the entrance to the hotel. Inside, the lobby is usually bustling and crowded, and feels a bit like an airport. Floor-to-ceiling windows, large gray striped area rugs, red tables, and gray couches create a seating area on one side of the lobby, while the other side includes neutral modern chairs set on white tile. Modern Asian decorations are matched to tan tile and wood tones throughout the Benkay Restaurant, and there are beautiful views of Paris and the Seine River. Bar Le Seine is a casual space with neon high chairs, gray carpet, and flat-screen TVs mounted on the walls in addition to colorful mood lighting and soft couches. Jazz music plays throughout the Novotel Cafe and there are dark wood countertops in the serving area. Wood floors, yellow modern chairs, and navy blue carpet also decorate the space. Outside, there is a lovely terrace space with gray wicker furniture. Guests run the gamut from families to couples, business travelers, and locals on staycation. 

Overlooking the Seine, a 20-minute walk to the Eiffel Tower

The Novotel Paris Centre Tour Eiffel does have views of the Eiffel Tower, but expect a 20-minute walk to the iconic structure. The location is more convenient to Pont de Grenelle, the Statue of Liberty-Paris, shops, and restaurants, which are a five-minute walk away. Pont Mirabeau, Bir Hakeim and Charles Michel metro lines, as well as Maison de la Radio, are a 10-minute walk from the hotel, while Palais de Chaillot, Champ de Mars, and the Eiffel Tower are a 10-minute drive. The Arc de Triomphe and the Musee d'Orsay are also a 10-minute drive away, while the Louvre and Notre Dame Cathedral are 15 minutes by car or cab. The metro can reach the Louvre or Musee d'Orsay in 30 minutes. Orly Airport and Charles de Gaulle Airport are 20 and 30 minutes away by car, respectively, though those times depend on traffic. Only valet parking is available at the hotel, but taxis are plentiful and the neighborhood is walkable.

Minimalist clean lines and a neutral color palette adorn all of the spacious rooms (starting at 20 square meters, or 215 square feet), while abstract art on the walls adds a bit of color. Brown carpets, tan armchairs, and light wood furniture look simple, but modern, while flat-screen TVs sit on multicolored wood desks. Rooms feature speakers for MP3 players, safes, air-conditioning and minibars with bottled water. Some rooms have living areas, bathrobes, and Nespresso coffeemakers, though others suffer from ventilation noise and lack coffeemakers. Tan and white tile cover modern bathrooms, with blue accent walls and white contemporary sinks. Glassed-in tile showers and Novotel toiletries are provided. However, some rooms don’t have tubs and guests complain about the separate water closet room, which lacks a sink. We also noticed a bit of mold and corrosion in the showers when we visited. The best rooms here have stunning views of Paris and the Seine River, though this is a massive hotel and those views will vary.

Japanese restaurant, French cafe, and a fee for Wi-Fi

Features at Novotel Paris Centre Tour Eiffel are convenient and well thought out, though there are fees attached to some that aren't welcome. Authentic Japanese cuisine is served at the Benkay Restaurant and Bar La Seine has snacks, beers, and cocktails. Four distinct breakfast options (for a fee) as well as desserts, sandwiches, pasta, fish, cocktails, wine, and beer are offered at the Novotel Cafe. For travelers truly in a hurry, there's the L’Instant Nomade area with vending machines containing snacks and drinks as well as souvenirs and gifts. Room service is available.

An unexpected indoor pool is framed with neutral chairs and a gray tile deck, as well as a huge skylight overhead. There's also a large fitness center with cardio machines and weights. What an amazing hotel this was. I honestly was a little anxious at first because I didn't read the reviews prior to me making reservations here. I made my reservations based on a recommendation from family. Once I read the reviews I had second thoughts about canceling. I am so happy I didn't. This hotel was everything I could have hoped for visiting Paris for the first time. I was expecting the rooms to be smaller in Europe, (based on a lot of reviews I would see), but these rooms were perfectly sized. They seemed to be the same size as the one in the U.S. The different aspect of the room was that they had the toilet in a seperate area then the rest of the bathroom, (shower, bath and sink). I thought it was a little funny at first, but quickly saw how convenient it was. When one person is showering, the other person can use the toilet with no interruption if needed. The hotel also had an excellent gym, and pool. The gym access was free, but pool access required an additional fee and a reservation. Another convenient amenity was the free water. They had free sparkling and flat water dispensers to refill your water bottles any time of the day. They also had a Starbucks coffee machine in the lobby which was nice. The hotel was about a mile walk to the Eiffel Tower and pretty close to a lot of eateries. When you exit the hotel and turn right, (towards the tower), there are a lot of tourist trap restaurants lining up the streets. My recommendation is to turn left when exiting, to go behind the hotel. When you do, there is a mall area with a food court that has a lot of options. Inside the mall is the best little macaron shop I have ever been to. The caramel macarons are to die for, and I'm not even a big caramel f The only negative for me, was when I arrived to the hotel for check in at 2pm, my room was not ready. The front desk clerk apologized and said housekeeping had not finished with it yet. It wasn't ready until about an hour later, at 3pm. However, the front desk clerk did give me free drink vouchers for the inconvenience. All in all, it was a great experience and I would definitely stay here again.

Contemporary hotel situated a short walk from the Eiffel Tower. Pros: -The rooms were clean, moderately sized, with toilet separated from sink and bathtub. -Hair and body wash are provided in a dispenser in the shower. -In-room safe, fridge, and kettle -Can accommodate larger groups, tour buses, and conferences. -Views of the Seine and the Statue of Liberty Paris -Views of Eiffel Tower from outside hotel Cons: -The partial shower divider doesn't adequately protect against water leaking onto the floor. -Liquid soap dispenser stopped working - had to request for a new bottle of hand soap from the front desk -have to walk several feet to the sink to wash hands after using the toilet (others might not wash hands due to this distance, which is disturbing) -Strong powdery perfume scent in the common areas may trigger some with environmental allergies Would consider staying here again.

Good service at the reception.. helpful and courteous.. level 0 below the floor of the reception has a Starbucks machine.. the caramel latte is yum! Free water because you can drink tap water in France haha the room was clean and nice. Playground is walkable distance and so are two grocery stores! 20 minutes walk to Eiffel Tower.

The selling point to this hotel is its proximity to the Eiffel Tower. Other than that, it's pretty bad. The rooms are extremely small (which I know is very common in Europe) but everything was also dirty and many things didn't work. Our sink was flooded when we got in. My mom's air conditioning was broken when we got there. I picked up the hair dryer and it literally broke off in my hand. While I speak passable French, there was a surprising amount of staff members who did not speak English, which I thought was strange when you're working at a tourist hotel. The staff also did not communicate well with each other, so if you requested a breakfast to go to a staff member at night, the worker at the front desk didn't know what you were taking about when you got there in the morning. Really, all you need is a hotel close to the metro and it doesn't really matter if you're close to the Eiffel Tower of any other landmark. I would not stay at this hotel again. One bonus: They do provide a great breakfast for a fee.

Nice clean room. Exploring Paris it takes many metro transfers. Hotel staff very unfriendly. Be prepared for long waits for the elevator in spite of their number 6. The Trocadero where I had breakfast looks like an outdated cantina. The staff seems to be in a daze. The food seems to be rewarmed from previous days, very unappealing and the fresh fruit either unavailable or very limited choice. The pastry does not look to be fresh either. About 1 hour before closing, the food starts being put away, so one is very limited in the choice. Very disappointing stay, I don't recommend this hotel or location.

My wife and I stayed on this hotel based on an experience I had in the early 2000's while staying there for a Schlumberger company conference. I remembered the hotel to be in a good location -close enough to the Eiffel Tower- and overall a good hotel. Our impressions now are not the same to say the least, the hotel needs work, the rooms, especially the bathroom need update. During this trip we also booked a hotel from the same chain in Heathrow airport and we were nicely surprised about it, the hotel was nice to be an airport hotel, better than the one in Paris. I hope they update the hotel although I won't be giving it another chance.

Reception staff rude. Rooms had dirty towels. When I tried Calling room service no answer then tried calling reception no answer. No clean towels. Elevators stopped at each floor. But mostly their attitude how they treated us. Thank goodness for another hotel that we stayed at the next day was 100 times better.

This hotel was dirty and had terrible service. It is so sad that with all the tourists that go, this hotel is so awful. The location is great but the bathrooms were not clean, the carpets were nasty and our rooms were not even refreshed.

I really went back and forth between 2 or 3 stars on this one. What is good about this place is great, but also the drawbacks are just so damn bad. (+) Location is easily the greatest thing about this place. Fantastic location! The Seine River is just across the street. The Eiffel Tower is about a 20 minute walk away. A Monoprix grocery store is a 5 minute walk around the corner. Not a ton of restaurants in the immediate area right by the hotel though. (+) Good amount of space in the room. We had enough room to just leave suitcases opened and laying around and it wasn't inconvenient to move around at all. (+) Staff was very nice and helpful. Front Desk and the bellmen were especially helpful. (+) free wifi (+) Got an amazing deal on room prices at Expedia. This review may have been harsher had I paid a lot more. (-) The place is just generally dirty. Like all over. Seriously, clean the place up! Carpets are stained, dirty, and just look generally worn. Rooms just have a LOT of wear and tear on them and I'm sure it hasn't been updated for many years. (-) One of the worst shower situations that I have had to endure in my extensive travels. The water constantly went from chilly cold to steaming hot without touching anything. Water flow was VERY weak. A good shower is very important to me, especially after a long day out and about and exploring! It was just a frustrating experience every time you needed to take a shower here. (-) food options at the property are a bit pricey, so I didn't end up trying any of them For the price and location, it wasn't intolerable. If they would just clean the place up and fix the showers this could really be a 4 star place easy. What a shame. 2 stars.

We stayed here on our trip to Paris and had a good experience. I believe we had a renovated room which was great and new! Pros: The rooms are surprisingly big for European standards. The bed was comfy and everything was clean. The staff was great. Cons: There were no wash cloths in the bathroom and it was really confusing trying to figure out the shower. I am not sure if that was just me but the hot/cold settings were all messed up. They are doing construction everywhere in and around the hotel so it was confusing trying to find your way to the front desk. If you end up taking the train or metro it is about a 10 min walk. From CDG I just took the Rer B and then transferred to the Rer C and got off at Eiffiel tower stop and walked from there. I found that easier than taking the metro from the Rer B. I also then only had to buy one train ticket. If you take a taxi it should be a fixed rate of about $50 don't let them charge you more. If you want to tour around there is a station where you can rent bikes and drop them off different places near by. You just have to download the app.

Diverse and pleasant neighborhood.

Guests enjoyed the fact that there are plenty of restaurants, bars and shopping opportunities in the vicinity of the hotel. Beaugrenelle, the mall next door, offers ample shopping and dining options as well as a movie theater without the need to travel far.

Negative Reviews

Disappointing pool.

Guests report that the pool is limited to 15 occupants at all times, which not only limits one's chance of enjoying some relaxing time in the water, but at certain times the pool is actually off-limits to guests as locals participate in classes in the hotel pool. Furthermore, some guests remarked that there was an issue with cleanliness and mildew in the pool area.

Noisy elevator

Some guests were bothered by the loud elevator moving up and down the floors. Moreover, the at times long lines of people waiting to get on an elevator contributed to the noise level.

Unsatisfactory Wi-Fi

Guests report that the Wi-Fi signal is not only poor but that they had to sign in repeatedly every couple of hours. Management also disconnects guests' accounts at 8 a.m. on the day of departure, even if guests stay for the maximum amount of time that day.
