• Afternoon sightseeing tour begins with a visit to President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum ( closed on Monday and Friday, every afternoon, and whole from 15 June – 15 August, view the outside the building). Inside the mausoleum, there are sightseeing of the Presidential Palace (view from outside), President’s Fishpond, House On Stilts, and One Pillar Pagoda.
• Next, we will pay a visit to the Temple of Literature. It is where Confucius – The founder of Confucianism was worshiped. This place as known as the first National University of Vietnam. It is where kings, mandarins, talented people of Vietnam training to the functionary.
• To explore Thang Long Citadel ( Kinh Thien Palace, House D67, North Gate, Hau Lau)
• Our tour continues with an exciting visit. We will visit one of the most beautiful lakes in Hanoi is Hoan Kiem Lake. Then, we will go to the Ngoc Son Temple, which is in the middle of Hoan Kiem Lake.

• Good morning, have breakfast at the hotel.
• 7.30 – 8.00 AM: Pick you up at your hotel in the Old Quarter and transfer to Tam Coc.
• 8.00 – 10.00 AM: After two hours of transferring, our tour guide will introduce you to Vietnam as the history, culture, lifestyle of local people. On the conical hat, we will have a mini-game show to teach you how to say and write some Vietnamese simple words such as Xin Chào, Tạm Biệt, Tôi yêu Ninh Bình, etc. We will give you a little souvenir and you can wear it during the trip.
• 10 AM: We will prepare for a boat trip to visit the beautiful Tam Coc. It takes 1.30 hours rowing along the Ngo Dong river through the three mysterious caves. You can enjoy spectacular scenery surrounded by rice paddies and towering limestone mountain peaks.
• 11.30 AM: We will get on Thanh pier for a short walk to visit Thai Vi Temple, which is one of the well-known temples in Ninh Binh, Vietnam. We will continue 10 minutes walking along majestic valley with rice fields, rivers and lotus ponds for Tam Coc Nature Lodge where we will relaxing

• 1.30 PM: you have a chance to be a fisherman and learn how to catch the fish in the pond or river.
• 2:00 – 3:00 PM: We ride a bike to Thung Nang, along the river among the rice field, lotus ponds, and limestone Mountains. We will continue to through a peaceful Dan Khe Trong village. This area is a real picture of the rural countryside in the north of Vietnam.
• 15: 00: Return the van, drive to visit Hoa Lu Ancient citadel which was built in the 10th century, and the temple dedicated to King Dinh and King Le
• 4:00 PM: Back to Hanoi Capital.

Accommodations were good especially Thang Long Espana Hotel (the Hotel Management automated upgraded us to VIP rooms.Is really unexpected). Overalled tours n places visited very well but only local guides r not good organizing the itineraries. Especially at Sapa Lao Cai and Cat Cat Villages walking tours push to the same day about 8hours for 7km (which is on 1st&2nd days arrival) so tiring. Lunch not good enough 4 so many hours of walking. In Danang Bana Hill the local guide shd arrange 2 visit Bana Hill 1st n not last coz' spend a short time n not nice photos taken due to rain (went in morning time no rain). 5days Hanoi-Tam Coc-Ninh Binh-Halong Bay

We are family of 6 from Singapore and Malaysia joining Hanoi Impress Travel on 30 October-04 November 2019. We are really impressed with the company and tour guides with their professionalism and well organised arrangement. Lily is our guide for Hanoi, Tam Coc and Ninh Binh. She is excellent and very informative. She even taking care of us until late night. We walk us from Old Quarters to the hotel and brought us to try the famous road side foods. She even helped us to pay for our order to avoid overcharge by the stall. Another guide, David BK (Swan Cruise) brought us to Halong Bay cruise. He is excellent and humorous. He handles everything throughout the trip. He served meals for guests on the cruise, organised happy hour, guiding us for Kayaking, teaching Taiji and cooking class on cruise. The cruise ship is ok and the hotel in Hanoi-Adamas Hotel is small but new and clean with reasonable ok breakfast. Anyway thank you for the wonderful arrangement.

Professional and well organized

We booked a 8 day private tour package for 9 persons for Northern and Central Vietnam . We experienced great and very professional service from the Impress travel team. Tommy was very easy to contact and accommodated our requests. All the tour guides were very good, spoke good English, friendly and patient. All the vehicles were very clean , spacious enough for our group of 6 adults and 3 children. The drivers were extremely safe and ontime. Meals were served in clean restaurants. 5D/4N Hanoi-Ninh Binh- Halong Bay

I was searching for a reliable travel agent and come across Impress Travel and the many reviews of them. I booked 5D/4N, Hanoi-Trang An-Halong Bay private trip for a party of 6. I communicated with Mr Daniel Dang throughout the time until the day we arrived. Mr Daniel is very patient, helpful, and accommodating to our requirements despite many changes made to the itinerary. The price is very reasonable unlike other travel agents. Our tour guide, Lily was very friendly and efficientknowledgeable and speak good English. Highly recommend “Trang An Boat Tour”. The caves was spectacular and beautifully. 2D/1N Halong Bay – Swan Cruise was awesome with amazing view of the cave. Our guide Mr David was hilarious, helpful, accommodating, and everything was well organized. Beside the normal activities of kayaking, swimming, Tai Chi, culinary lesson, we are indeed very very fortunate to have the chance to celebrate the “Mooncake Festival” while cruising and admiring the full moon. Spread of mooncake, dessert, sweet snack, fruits, cocktail, beer and mini dragon dance complete the celebration. Tourists from all over the world party all night long.

Although we paid for a 3-star package, the hotel (Thang Long Espana Hotel), meals and transport provided were also above average. Our gang have a very enjoyable and memorable trip in Hanoi. Frequency: every 30 minutes

1.5-hour ticket (nighttime)

1.5-hour Hanoi city tour ticket is the ticket that can be used during night time for seeing Hanoi’s famous tourist attractions in completely different light.

24-hour ticket

The bus driver cursed at a group of Indian tourists and said, "Đồ khốn." I told the guide that I understand some Vietnamese phrases and his behavior was unacceptable. The guide just shrugged it off. Although the frequency of the bus was advertised every 30 min, on two seperate stops it was over an hour. When I called the company to complain she offered 2 extra hours or a taxi. Was a bit concerned reading the reviews. To clarify- there are TWO different red bus companies in Saigon. The City Sightseeing company and the Anh viet City tours bus company. The buses look very similar. See my photos of the various buses of the two companies. I did NOT experience any of the issues mentioned by other reviewers. I believe the negative reviews are referring to experiences on the Anh Viet bus tour not City Sightseeing. I went to the Opera house at 8.45am and bought a 24 hour ticket from their ticket booth for $19USD. They take Visa card. It covered the day tour and the night tour 5-9pm. The night tour was fabulous and a great way to see the city at night. I got the 5.45pm bus opposite the opera to see the city as night fell. Nb you will see people getting up and standing up upstairs and selphie sticks and other aggravations on this bus! It cost $19usd. Not bad. It's not a live guided tour but I thought the commentary was ok and synced with the points of interest more or less. The syncing is going to depend on how conscientious the driver is with turning it on at the right time. I'm just glad they don't have that irritating music in between points of interest. I take my own headphones on these tours and I do the whole tour in one go. They did give out cheap headphones but I never use them. I got a good sense of Saigon and my bearings. The circuit took 1.5 hours. If you think you are going to use it for getting on and off, remember it is traffic dependent and there may be a long wait and the bus might be full when it arrives. Also take a drink and hat. Some stops won't have cover from the sun. Nb the city sightseeing buses have two types of bus, one totally open upstairs and one that is half covered and airconditioned. The first bus at 9am was totally open but I could see that the second bus parked behind it at 9.30am was an air conditioned upstairs bus so I waited for that one. It would be far too hot for me being out in the open for that long in Saigon. Anyway a bit of due diligence and realistic expectations of what you can get out of these buses will go a long way to getting the most out of this way of seeing a city. I found this company at the post office where their buses depart and booked for Sunday March 3 as we are flying back home the next day. I received a confirmation for the dinner cruise after the hop on bus tour until I got the bait and switch email: Dear Sir/Madame, Your Indochina Queen Cruise reservations are full. Would you like to change to another date? We currently have space available for March 4 and March 5. Please confirm soon! Thank you! This is typical for Vietnam as I’ve seen them scam tourists not only in the city for excursions but even within the airline industry Viet Jet and the Vietnam Immigration Department. I messaged this company back by email and also called them to see if they can accommodate us since the cruise was available at the time of booking, so it’s their fault for overbooking and not telling customers. They could not accommodate us and said the refund process has been initiated but caveat emptar or buyer beware. But sadly we were very disappointed. There were no headphones - we asked for them and were told, there would be a loudspeaker with information of the districts/buildings. We arrived 20 minutes early and waited for more than an hour in the heat of late afternoon. If this was only due to traffic and crowds (it was the Tet holiday), we could understand. But many guests who had not been waiting as long rushed the front of the line and the numerous staff present did nothing to stop this. We had a longer wait as reward for waiting our turn patiently, and we were treated with suspicion when we eventually insisted it was our turn to board. And after all that, the route was cut short and the tour lasted only 40 minutes (we were sold 1 hour.) As mentioned, traffic and crowds were significant during the holiday. This was a good way to see the main sights and then visit the palace and other areas in more detail. When we went to board the bus, we were told we had the wrong tickets, and would have to buy new tickets. The good news was that the tickets were valid for a month and as we were moving on to HCMC we could use them when we arrived. The bus tour in Hanoi wasn't that great. In fact, it was pretty poor. The audio commentary was out of sync, making it very difficult to identify the sights. There was very little time to see the sights, and I'm still not sure what we saw. When we arrived in HCMC, we turned up ready for the bus tour to be told that although the tickets were valid for a month, we needed to have emailed the tour company to tell them we wanted to take the tour at a later date. They would not honour our tickets and said we would have to buy new tickets. After our rather dismal experience in Hanoi, we decided not to throw good money after bad, and declined their offer. It was a 50 min tour for about $4 cdn dollars per person. Hi Chi Minh city is beautiful when all lit up , streets were hopping as it was Friday night .
