Thanks for contacting us. We've received your submission.

Mike Love stands onstage with occasional bandmate John Stamos.

In 1963, The Beach Boys had their first of many number one hits when “Surfin’ U.S.A.” rose to the top of the Billboard charts.

60 years later, the group is still touring their timeless music.

Led by original member Mike Love, the band will bring classic songs like “Good Vibrations,” “Wouldn’t It Be Nice,” “I Get Around,” “Fun, Fun, Fun,” “Barbara Ann” and countless others to major venues all over the U.S. from February through September .

That includes one stop in the northeast when The Beach Boys drop into Asbury Park, NJ’s Sea.Hear.Now Music Festival on Sept. 16-17 alongside headliners like Foo Fighters and The Killers .

Plus, there’s a very real possibility that “Full House” star John Stamos may appear onstage at the concert of your choosing.

And we’re getting good vibrations from the prices to see the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers on the road this year.

At the time of publication, we found some tickets going for as low as $37 before fees on Vivid Seats.

Not a bad price to be transported to the summer, no matter what the season is.

Want to see The Beach Boys live this year?

Here’s everything you need to know to make that happen.

The Beach Boys 2023 tour schedule

A complete calendar including all tour dates, venues and links to the best ticket prices available can be found below.

(Note: The New York Post confirmed all above prices at the publication time. All prices are subject to fluctuation and include additional fees at checkout .)

Vivid Seats is a verified secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.

They offer a 100% buyer guarantee that states your transaction will be safe and secure and your tickets will be delivered prior to the event.

Beach Boys festival appearance

On a mid-September weekend, The Beach Boys will hit Asbury Park’s actual beach when they play the surf-centric Sea.Hear.Now Festival at North Beach Asbury Park.

Major acts joining them on the bill include Weezer , Sheryl Crow , Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats , Greta Van Fleet and Mt. Joy .

And there will be actual surfers on hand too.

You can snag tickets for the two-day extravaganza as early as today here .

Beach Boys set list

It may seem unbelievable but The Beach Boys have played over 7,100 shows (!) in their 62 years of existence.

So, we’ll give them a pass when they play nearly the same set every night these days — if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

Here’s what you’ll likely see when they perform their thorough, career-spanning set at a venue near you this year.

01.) “Do It Again” 02.) “Surfin’ Safari” 03.) “Catch a Wave” 04.) “Hawaii” 05.) “It’s OK” 06.) “California Sun” (Joe Jones cover) 07.) “Little Honda” 08.) “Rockaway Beach” (Ramones cover) 09.) “Surfin’ U.S.A.” 10.) “Surfer Girl” 11.) “Getcha Back” 12.) “Good to My Baby” 13.) “When I Grow Up (to Be a Man)” 14.) “Darlin'” 15.) “Be True to Your School” 16.) “Don’t Worry Baby” 17.) “Little Deuce Coupe” 18.) “409” 19.) “Shut Down” 20.) “I Get Around”

21.) “California Dreamin'” (The Mamas & the Papas cover) 22.) “California Girls” 23.) “Sloop John B” 24.) “Wouldn’t It Be Nice” 25.) “In My Room” 26.) “Disney Girls”

27.) “God Only Knows” 28.) “Here Comes the Sun” (The Beatles cover) 29.) “Sail On Sailor” 30.) “Then I Kissed Her” 31.) “Dance, Dance, Dance” 32.) “Do You Wanna Dance?” (Bobby Freeman cover) 33.) “Rock and Roll Music” (Chuck Berry cover) 34.) “Help Me, Rhonda” 35.) “Kokomo” 36.) “Good Vibrations”

37.) “Barbara Ann” (The Regents cover) 38.) “Fun, Fun, Fun”

Beach Boys 2023 band members

When your group has been around 60+ years, there’s bound to be a bit of shakeup.

Although original members Brian Wilson and Al Jardine aren’t playing with the group live this year, here’s who you will probably see alongside Mike Love at the concert of your choosing (and maybe John Stamos too).

Bruce Johnston – vocals, keyboards, bass, guitar, percussion

Tim Bonhomme – keyboards

Scott Totten – vocals, guitar, bass, ukulele, percussion, musical director

John Cowsill

Christian Love – vocals, guitar

Brian Eichenberger – vocals, guitar, bass

Randy Leago – saxophones, flutes, harmonicas, percussion

Brian Wilson Announces ‘Greatest Hits’ Tour With Al Jardine, Launches Website With Rarities, Demos, More

brian wilson, brian wilson greatest hits, brian wilson greatest hits tour, al jardine, blondie chaplin, brian wilson al jardine, beach boys, mike love, beach boys tour

Brian Wilson  has announced a 15-date  Greatest Hits Live!  tour that will see him travel alongside collaborators  Al Jardine  and  Blondie Chaplin . The  Beach Boys  mastermind also launched a new website that features a trove of archival material ranging from outtakes to rarities and beyond.

The  Greatest Hits Live!  tour begins on August 29th in Long Beach, CA before a month-long gap, after which the tour gets into full swing in Huntington, NY (10/5). A healthy Northeastern run takes Wilson and company through Port Chester, NY (10/6); Wallingford, CT (10/8); Lowell, MA (10/9); Rochester, NY (10/10); Albany, NY (10/12); Morristown, NJ (10/13); Washington, D.C. (10/15); and Atlantic City (10/16). The tour then heads through the midwest with stops in Reading, PA (10/17); Greensburg, PA (10/19); Akron, OH (10/20); Nashville, IN (10/22); and finally Waukegan, IL (10/23).

Along with the tour announcement, Wilson has launched a newly revamped website. Besides housing relevant tour information, the website features an extensive timeline, cataloging Wilson’s life in music. Beginning at his birth in 1942, the timeline parcels off significant portions of his life including entire sections on his most prolific periods in 1962–1965, 1966, and 1967–1969. Each section houses a detailed history alongside various rarities and studio outtakes, some of which are available now for the first time.

The tour and website launch comes as the latest in a flurry of activity for the 79-year-old singer-songwriter. Last month’s  Tribeca Film Festival  saw the premiere of a new documentary,  Brian Wilson: Long Promised Road . In the film, Wilson opens up to  Rolling Stone editor Jason Fine on his six decades in popular music as the two drive back and forth between Wilson’s recording sessions.

Earlier this year also saw a major development in the decades-long public feud between warring factions of the Beach Boys, as the band sold off its entire catalog, likenesses, and intellectual property to  Irving Azoff ‘s  Iconic Artists Group . While Beach Boys are far from the only artists to sell off their songbooks as of late, the California-bred surf-rockers situation is far more unique than that of Bob Dylan   or  Neil Young .

With all of their intellectual properties sold off, this can effectively put an end to the decades of infighting that has existed between Wilson and his cousin/former bandmate  Mike Love . Years ago, Love won the rights to the Beach Boys name in a legal battle and toured under the banner with latter-era band member Bruce Johnston  while Wilson toured with Jardine under his own name, despite being the principal songwriter behind some of the Beach Boys’ biggest songs.

Nevertheless, it appears that Wilson will continue to tour under his own name as he dishes out some of the Beach Boys’ greatest hits on his upcoming tour. The Iconic Artists Group deal has also given rise to rumors of a 60th-anniversary reunion tour in 2022, though no official announcement has been made and some members of the group are more open to the idea than others.

Tickets for all of the October shows on the Brian Wilson  Greatest Hits Live!  tour with Al Jardine and Blondie Chaplin go on sale on Friday at 10 a.m. local. A pre-sale for tickets is accessible now using the code “SURFSUP”. Scroll down to see the full list of tour dates. Visit Wilson’s website for more information and to see the new trove of archival material.

Brian Wilson Announces Tour, Drops Demos, Rarities on New Website

By Angie Martoccio

Angie Martoccio

Brian Wilson has revealed a North American fall tour, while dropping demos, rarities, and outtakes on his new website.

Following an August show in Long Beach, California, Wilson will head to Huntington, New York on October 5th, wrapping up in Waukegan, Illinois on the 23rd.

Wilson’s new site contains a timeline feature organized by decades spanning from his birth in 1942 to the present. He previewed the launch with a 1995 demo of “Desert Drive,” which appeared on 2004’s Gettin’ in Over My Head. Other demos from the era, written with Andy Paley, are also available — including the unreleased “I’m Broke.”

The Eighties features obscure demos, like “Let’s Go to Heaven in My Car” from the 1987 film Police Academy 4: Citizens on Patrol , while the Seventies includes demos from The Beach Boys Love You . The Sixties is divided into three separate pages, with one devoted to 1966’s Pet Sounds.

“Thanks for visiting my new website,” the homepage reads. “We decided to put up some cool demos, outtakes, and live tracks you haven’t heard before. I hope you dig listening to them as much as we did making them. Stay safe and we’ll see you on tour soon!”

Later this month, the Beach Boys will release the box set Feel Flows  —  The Sunflower and Surf’s Up Sessions 1969–1971.  The band’s surviving members have reportedly contemplated a 60th-anniversary tour , but nothing has been confirmed.

Brian Wilson Announces Co-Headlining U.S. Tour With Chicago

By Matthew Strauss

Brian Wilson

The rock band Chicago and Brian Wilson have announced a co-headlining U.S. tour. Wilson, during his sets, will be joined on stage by his fellow Beach Boys co-founder Al Jardine, as well as South African singer Blondie Chaplin. The tour begins in Phoenix in June and wraps up in Clarkston, Michigan at the end of July. Find Chicago and Brian Wilson’s itinerary below.

In 1974, the Beach Boys’ Al Jardine, Carl Wilson, and Dennis Wilson sang backing vocals on Chicago’s single “ Wishing You Were Here .” The following year, Chicago and the Beach Boys went on the Beachago tour together, an experience to which Robert Lamm alluded on the Chicago X song “ Scrapbook .” The bands later toured together again in 1989.

Brian Wilson recently released the album At My Piano . He is also the subject of the new documentary Brian Wilson: Long Promised Road . The documentary’s soundtrack , released last week, includes Wilson’s new duet with Jim James, “ Right Where I Belong .”

Brian Wilson is set to co-headline a tour with Chicago next summer. The Windy City group and the Beach Boys founder will kick off their 25-date US tour in June 2022.

Wilson will be accompanied on stage by fellow Beach Boys members Al Jardine and Blondie Chaplin. Tickets go on-sale this Friday, December 3, at 10:00 a.m. local time, and be purchased via Ticketmaster.

Earlier this month, Brian Wilson released the new song “Right Where I Belong,” taken from the soundtrack of the new documentary Brian Wilson: Long Promised Road. The track features and was co-written by My Morning Jacket’s Jim James . The full soundtrack was released on November 26.

‘Shut Down Volume 2’: The Beach Boys Keep An Eye On Summer

The song, in which Wilson reflects on his teenage years as a writer and musician, was teased in the trailer for the film, which is based around conversations between the Beach Boys co-founder and his friend and Rolling Stone editor Jason Fine. It opened in US theaters in a limited run and video-on-demand services earlier this month. The documentary also features interviews about Wilson with James himself, Elton John , Bruce Springsteen , Nick Jonas, Linda Perry, Gustavo Dudamel, Al Jardine, and others.

Brian Wilson’s Family Seeks to Place Him Under a Conservatorship

Mr. Wilson, whose musical genius powered the Beach Boys, has dementia, according to his publicist. His wife, Melinda, died last month.

By Matt Stevens

The family of Brian Wilson, the musical architect whose genius helped power the Beach Boys, is seeking to place him under a conservatorship following the death of his wife, Melinda, last month.

According to documents filed in Los Angeles Superior Court earlier this week by lawyers representing the potential conservators, Mr. Wilson, 81, has “a major neurocognitive disorder,” and “is unable to properly provide for his own personal needs for physical health.” Melinda Wilson had previously provided care for her husband, but following her death on Jan. 30 , the appointment of a conservator has become necessary, according to the petition filed on Wednesday.

In a statement . the family said that LeeAnn Hard, Mr. Wilson’s business manager, and Jean Sievers, his publicist and manager, would serve as co-conservators.

“This decision was made to ensure that there will be no extreme changes to the household and Brian and the children living at home will be taken care of and remain in the home where they are cared for,” the statement said.

In an email to The New York Times, Ms. Sievers said Mr. Wilson has been “diagnosed with dementia.” She said that as a co-conservator, she would “ensure that all of Brian’s daily living needs are satisfied and he continues to lead an active life.”

A hearing on the petition has been scheduled for April 30.

Mr. Wilson, a revered founder of the Beach Boys, is widely credited as a musical visionary who channeled an idealized notion of California into a chart-topping sound.

But the mental health challenges he faced along the way have also been well documented.

After suffering a nervous breakdown on a flight to Houston with the band in 1964, he abandoned touring to focus on recording, tapping into a period of explosive creativity that would help reshape the pop landscape with hits like “Good Vibrations.” At their height, the Beach Boys and their music flooded the Top 40 with melodies that captured the energy and culture of sunny, vibrant Southern California and music meticulously orchestrated in the studio. An American counterweight to the Beatles, the band was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1988 .

But even as Mr. Wilson worked, his struggles with mental illness worsened. He became increasingly withdrawn after an ambitious album, “Smile,” fell apart in 1967. He battled depression and was eventually diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder , which manifested itself in auditory hallucinations , among other symptoms. He also experimented with LSD and other drugs and began overeating and abusing alcohol. He receded from the public eye and remained bedridden for extended periods during the 1970s.

In the years that followed, Mr. Wilson began dating Melinda Kae Ledbetter, who would become his second wife. The couple met in a Los Angeles Cadillac dealership, where she was a saleswoman, in a scene dramatized in the 2014 movie “ Love & Mercy .”

Ms. Wilson has said her future husband was struggling at the time she met him. Mr. Wilson had begun working with a psychotherapist, Eugene Landy , who is credited with helping yank his client from the depths of depression and substance abuse — and also blamed for inserting himself into many corners of Mr. Wilson’s creative and financial life.

Mr. Wilson’s family members eventually petitioned to create a previous conservatorship that extracted Mr. Wilson from Mr. Landy’s control. He married Melinda Ledbetter in 1995. They adopted five children , and Mr. Wilson credited her with helping to stabilize his life and career.

Toward the end of her life, Ms. Wilson also served as her husband’s health care agent, according to court filings.

“Mrs. Wilson attended to Mr. Wilson’s daily living needs,” the document said, “as Mr. Wilson is unable to properly provide for his own personal needs for physical health, food, clothing, or shelter.”

In 2021, the Beach Boys signed a blockbuster deal with Iconic Artists Group , selling the majority of the band’s intellectual property rights, including their trademarks and the rights to much of their music. Later that year, Wilson also sold his songwriting rights to Universal Music. The transaction was confidential, but was revealed the following year when his former wife, Marilyn Wilson-Rutherford, sued , saying she was owed millions of dollars as a result of the terms of their divorce settlement.

Wilson was on the road performing shows as recently as 2022.

I sold my tickets because Five Points amphitheatre is the worst venue I have ever been to. The only time I have enjoyed a show there is when buying VIP front and Center seats and even then there security is the worst. Last show the people I knew from the meet and greet with Foreigner spent between 900 and 2000 for a paid of tickets yet when I walked down to the stage Indis not get stopped once and asked for my ticket. I learned against the rail against the stage with the aisle behind me and never was told to leave the area and neither was anyone who paid $49 for baxkrow seats. When you sit in the upper section, meaning 300's, there is no security, the seats are temporary, and its a bit more cramped then the airlines. Of someone moves, the entire section moves, and the entire row has to clear the row because it is impossible to get buy. Of anything happens in the upper sections, which is very possible seeing that everytime you get to your seat you have to ask someone who doesnt belong there to move. And when I sat 2nd row, I had at least 10 different neighbors from people climbing over the seats. With such

The band was exceptional, the lights magical, sound a bit of a problem at the beginning, but grew better towards the end of the show, especially when singing their older songs.

The Athens State Orchestra did not manage to see, except the last song - the one with Shenker - as I was entering the stadium, because, even though I had the most expensive VIP ticket (with numbered seat), I - among most of the crowd - could not enter, since there where NO lines, NOONE from the production company, NO security to help and guide us. As a result, the concert began as sceduled, at 21:00 sharp ad all of us were outside trying - I got pushed over, squeezed etc - to get in. Because of that - the entrance delay - they did not check our tickets (nobody was at the gates any way) so whoever wanted to enter the stadium - with NO ticket - could by all means enter. When entered the stadium there were AGAIN nobody to escort or show us to our seats, with limited lighting, and when we FINALLY found our seats there were people seating already refusing to get up - since they told us that people from the organisation told them to seat WHEREVER they wished, since there was no time to seat them and obviously without entry control we were outnumbered - and spend about 30 minutes trying to convince them for the obvious: to get up and let us seat on our NUMBERED seats, while searching for SOMEONE from the production company to assist. The stairs were full of people (this is against safety policy) and I managed to get down to arena after stepping on hands (it was dark as I mentioned earlier) to find someone in charge....NOONE, only one security guy who wasn't authorised to help with the situation and finally a "staff" who told me that he was a driver and would try to find someone to assist. They had NO CBs to intercommunicate and were running up and down to find whomever they were searching for. Finally, the paramedics, also had NO CBs and as we saw a girl in distress form above we were trying to communicate through signals that they should speed to the spot. The production company - I've never heard of them in Greece - are plain potential murderers.

The show of the concert was great, but we didn't really see the collusion of the band with the symphonic orchestra. The orchestra came, played their part, and after that we never saw them again. The sould could be better. The legendary Scorpions gave it all though. They made as feel good and they carried as away!

The organization was not good. Two small entrances for sooo many people. That lead to huge queues. I felt there was not so much security, during the check of the tickets.

It was great seeing Kallimarmaro full, from people who came to enjoy Scorpions!

Great experience. Could be much better.

2024 NFL free agency: Kirk Cousins, Chris Jones, Brian Burns headline top 50 free agents this offseason

Here's an early look at the free agent class of 2024.

kirk-cousins-vikings-getty.jpg

The 2023 regular season is in the rearview mirror as the NFL offseason is under way, and that means every team across the league  is working to reconstruct their rosters in hopes of building a competitive club for 2024. Of course, one of the best avenues to do that will be via free agency.

As is the case every year, the free agent period is always a hectic time on the calendar, and this one will be no exception. There are plenty of big names -- like Kirk Cousins , Chris Jones  and Michael Pittman Jr. -- currently slated to hit the open market in the spring and where they end up could very well shift the balance of power in both conferences.

With that in mind, let's take an early look at the top 50 players set to become free agents this offseason. It's worth noting that this is presuming that all of these players actually get to the open market and avoid the franchise tag or aren't traded before this juncture. Below, you'll find the cream of the crop on the free agent market along with their projected market value courtesy of Spotrac (if available).
