Tour Operator Giappone: perché scegliere Blubeberry Travel?

  • I  prezzi  subiscono incrementi notevoli, specie durante alcuni periodi

Vacanza in Giappone: infinite possibilità

Vacanza rilassante a tema “wellness – spa” (e ovviamente osen)

  • pasto speciale per diabetici;
  • pasto a basso contenuto di glutine;
  • pasto a basso contenuto di lattosio;
  • pasto vegano.

The 15 Best Tour Operators

These are the companies Travel + Leisure readers trust to provide them with travel expertise and memorable experiences.

tour operator blueberry travel company

Note: If you’re looking for our most recent recommendations, check out the 2023 list of our favorite tour operators .

When it comes to an itinerary, Travel + Leisure readers want more than a string of photo opportunities — and the right tour operator makes all the difference in creating a trip of a lifetime versus one that simply checks off a list of sights. This year, our readers were especially drawn to companies that utilize local expertise and experience to thoughtfully design trips that will entertain as well as inspire.

Every year for our World's Best Awards survey , T+L asks readers to weigh in on travel experiences around the globe — to share their opinions on the top hotels, resorts, cities, islands, cruise ships, spas, airlines, and more. Readers rated tour operators and safari outfitters based on their staff and guides, itineraries and destinations, activities, accommodations, food, and overall value.

The top picks were noted for their deep knowledge of destinations and guides who "go the extra mile." One reader who has been traveling for more than five decades said a trip with Classic Journeys (No. 2) was the "very best" they had experienced. Others noted attention to pandemic safety details, while one who went to Norway was charmed by a "wonderful surprise dinner in Bergen out on the water that was fantastic."

Tour operators that seamlessly navigated the logistics of a trip also came out on top. Quasar Expeditions (No. 9) was noted "for really planning out every detail" so that "all you have to do is show up and have a great time." Meanwhile, of TCS World Travel (No. 10), a guest said: "You never lift a finger and just spend your time actually exploring the destination." They even added that they "learned so much" along the way.

Among the five companies on this year's list that weren't on last year's were two women-only tour operators that cater to travelers of all ages. AdventureWomen (No. 14) has multiday tours designed by women from Bhutan to Yellowstone National Park, while Explorer Chick (No. 15) has everything from day trips — like glassblowing in Baltimore and cave rappelling in St. Louis — to full itineraries in Machu Picchu and the Galápagos. One reader said her Everest Base Camp trip with AdventureWomen was filled with "like-minded women" who "bonded so well," while another said she felt it was a "safe tour group for women."

No matter which tour they chose, readers were most taken by the people they met along the way, as one said of Trek Travel (No. 13): "By the end of the trip, a group of strangers felt like longtime friends." Find out which other companies round out the list of the best tour operators below.

1. DuVine Cycling + Adventure Co.

A tour with DuVine goes far beyond just riding a bike — it's a way to really see the character of a destination. Case in point: even those who say they're not necessarily cycling fans have been converted. That's part of what helped the tour operator — which runs trips in Europe, the U.S., Latin America, and Africa — skyrocket from No. 14 last year to this year's top spot. Its "top-notch biking equipment" and "challenging but doable itineraries" didn't hurt either. One reader was especially taken by a guide picking figs off of a local tree in Puglia for an extra energy boost during a tough climb, as well as another guide singing to the group after dinner. As another reader put it simply: "They exceed your expectations."

Accommodation only provisionally booked and again not paid for. All this discovered only 3 days prior leaving, devastated is an under statement. Now they don’t have the decency to answer any calls/email/text Please do not use this company

Fraudulent documents provided and left…

Fraudulent documents provided and left us with no tickets or flights. We didn’t know this until standing at the check in desk. Also , the positive reviews here appear to all Bots / not genuine.

SCAMMERS They were quick to take my money on 02/12/23 for return flights to Columbia but as it transpired they never actually booked the flights. I've called them everyday to request information on my refund to no avail. They fob me off everytime! So far i've spoken to Eddie and Roger. Beyond upset and angry. Beware!

OUTSTANDING service from this company

OUTSTANDING service from this company. Booked my annual NZ trip through these guys, good price on a good carrier. I ended up injuring myself and needing an upgrade on medical grounds. The hassle I went through with my insurance company was worse than my injury. I then contacted James, he took the medical reference number,”leave this with me he said”. Sorted! medical upgrade on a different airline organised overnight. Can’t thank you enough. If you have travel requirements, don’t bother looking elsewhere just give James at Blueberry Travels a call.

Best travel agent I’ve ever booked with. They sorted my honeymoon for me last year and this year my dive holiday. I missed my flight and once I had told them they took ownership of everything. Rescheduled dates and flights, booking in, IMUGA documents seaplane everything and we’re very supportive and friendly throughout

Maldives Oct 2021

We booked a trip to the Maldives in January 2021 for October 2021. Qatar changed our flights on numerous occasions but Justin kept us informed and managed to get us good flight equivalents. Then the day we were due to go our pcr test results didn't come in time. Justin was there completing our locator forms for us whilst we dashed to Heathrow in the rush hour getting extra tests done. Blueberry Travel have been great, good deal on the holiday too. Sign us up for next year!!

Blueberry travel service is 5 star …

Just wanted to say Blueberry travel are a class act when it comes to booking holidays . They booked us a dream trip to the Maldives. Unfortunately that went red and 5 days before we were supposed to go we changed it to Antigua as it had gone green. Crystal did a fantastic job in booking us a triple location holiday. Which was amazing he also checked to see if everything was going well whilst we were away. We also had a refund against our old holiday which Crystal also sorted. 5 star service u don't need to book independent again.

From the start of the process Blueberry…

From the start of the process Blueberry Travel had done everything they can & more to help with are dream holiday. Justin has dealt with us personally & always be super friendly & attentive. Even through the pandemic where we have had to move dates nothing has been a problem & in-fact we have even ended up with a better deal than first booked. I have recently contacted Justin again to start the search for our future holiday with our daughter to celebrate when she finishes her GCSE’s, we cannot think of using anyone else in the future. Thank you Blueberry Travels & Justin!

DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM We booked a holiday back in March to leave in 2 weeks (Christmas) to the Maldives. Paid over 10k for the holiday. After chasing them for our travel documents for the last week, we became very perturbed as we kept getting fobbed off. I then decided to ring the hotel only to be told that our reservation hadn’t been paid for so had been cancelled, I then spoke to the airline.. same story our flights had been cancelled as payment hadn’t been received. We have tried to speak to Ben apparently ‘the manager’ who never returns calls , James on annual leave and Eddie who cannot access any information on the system. This isn’t the last they’ll hear about this as like other reviews below we will be taking this further !!!

Fantastic find!

Blueberry Travels came highly recommended by a friend. Thought I’d give them a whirl - fantastic! Found EXACTLY what we were looking for and tailored to suit. Took a while (less than an hour tbh), and a lot of to and fro ing but we ended up with an absolutely amazing deal with unexpected upgrades - more than we expected for the price we’ve paid. Have already recommended to friends and will certainly use again. Nice personal service I might add.

Customer

Lena, our guide in Moscow was excellent. She was very knowledgable and could answer any question we had for her. We liked that she could pick up on our interests and take us places we might not have thought of to go. When we realized that one of the places we had chosen to see would probably not be that interesting to us, she was able to arrange entry to the Diamond Fund and the Armoury for us. Riding the Metro with Lena was a real adventure and a lot of fun. In Saint Petersburg we found Anna well versed in the history of the Tsars and in the Hermitage collection. Arkady in Veliky Novgorod was a very good guide and answered all of our questions with ease. Novgorod was perhaps a long way to go for a day trip, but we did enjoy it. Vasily was a great driver to have and kept us safe with good humour and skill. We enjoyed ourselves so much, my daughter says she is already planning to return. We would both have no hesistation to recommend ExpresstoRussia to anyone we know.

Just wanted to let you know that My grandson Bruno and I couldn´t have been more pleased with our week in Moscow (6/15 - 6/21). We were absolutely enchanted with the whole experience, including getting lost a couple of times in the Metro during our free time. Although both our guides (both Eleanas) were excellent, I would particularly commend the first one (she took us to the Tatiakov, the KGB tour, and to that beautiful cemetery where so many great Russian artists, authors, composers, musicians, militarists, and politicians are buried). Her knowledge is encyclopedic; and her understanding of today´s Russia as a product of its past was, for us, truly enlightening. I will be taking another tour in Russia, with my wife, within the next two or three years. I will be in touch with you when the time comes. Meanwhile, I will refer you to other potential visitors to Russia as I meet them.

Our Moscow tours are land only meaning that you arrange your own air travel to Russia and our expert staff meets you at the airport and handles everything else from there. Rest assured that you will be taken great care of on one of our Moscow tours. Express to Russia has a fully staffed office in Moscow that will help to make your visit fun, informative and unforgettable. Please remember that of all these tours are private and can be adjusted to your taste. You can add, replace or skip some sights; you can add more days to the package or cut the tour short. Our specialists will be glad to help you create the tour of your dreams!

Moscow, a City Like No Other

Moscow is Russia’s largest city with a population of between 12 and 13 million. It is also Europe’s largest city and when you visit Moscow, you can feel it. The layout and architecture of the city is eclectic, ranging from crooked, ancient streets and alleyways to wide, bustling boulevards, from medieval churches to Stalin skyscrapers and to modern, glass buildings towering over everything and of course in the center of it all is the Kremlin and the magnificent Red Square. Moscow is also home to a fantastic, efficient and very beautiful metro system – each station having its own special design. In fact, Express to Russia’s Moscow metro tours and excursions are some of our most popular attractions that we offer. On our Moscow tours, you will see this and more.

Moscow Tours centering on Russian History

Moscow has a long and interesting history and has been the capital of Russia in many of its different iterations – capital of the Grand Duchy of Moscow , the Russian Empire and of course the Soviet Union (who could ever forget the Soviet Union?). Moscow, was founded in the 12th century by Prince Yuri Dolgaruki (Yuri of the long arms – he really did have long arms!). From that time on, it was home to the Russian Tsars until Peter the Great moved the capital to St. Petersburg in 1703. The city has survived invasions and sieges from the Mongols, the Tartars, the Poles, Lithuanians and Napoleon but has always persevered. Our Moscow tours will enlighten you on this great history and give you insights into Muscovites and their unique culture. Our Moscow tours show you what the city is like today but also brings to life the past. Moscow never seems to sleep and is bursting with energy. A Moscow tour with Express to Russia is truly the best way of getting to know Russia’s largest and most vibrant city.

Frequently Asked Questions From Our Travelers

What is the best time to visit moscow.

Any time of year is fine depending on what you plan to do. Summertime is pleasantly warm, ideal for exploring the city and its vibrant atmosphere, but Moscow will be much busier and accommodation is more expensive. Winter can be quite cold but beautiful nonetheless, and this is unproblematic if you intend to spend most of your trip in museums and galleries. There are also various festivals and events organised throughout the year. For more information about the best time to visit, read our guide

How many days are enough in Moscow?

If you plan your itinerary strategically and aren’t averse to a packed schedule, you can cover Moscow’s main sights over a long weekend. Most popular attractions are in the city centre, and the Moscow Metro allows you to cover much ground in a small amount of time. Ensure that your accommodation is fairly central and book tickets in advance, so that you can make the most of your days. For an informative and well-organised day out, check out our Moscow day tours with options to suit all interests.

Do they speak English in Moscow?

As Russia’s capital city, tourists are well accommodated in Moscow. There should be English-speaking staff in restaurants, bars, hotels, shops and attractions in tourist hotspots, and there are also English-speaking tourist police. Transport services have English translations on their maps and English announcements via intercom; alternatively, order taxis from the Yandex Taxi app (Russian Uber), though it’s unlikely that your taxi driver will speak English. If you get stuck and cannot communicate, it’s fine to use Google Translate.

Is it safe to travel to Moscow?

It is no less safe to travel to Moscow than to any European city if you exercise common sense and look after your belongings. As with every city some regions can be more unsavoury than others, but no tourist attractions are located there. The traffic in Moscow is notorious, so exercise caution when crossing roads. Do not take unlicensed taxis; book in advance or take public transport, which is widespread and perfectly safe. If you encounter any problems, look for the special tourist police who can help you.
