Daily Walking Tours
Our Daily Walking Tours have a fixed schedule and were selected to provide our guests a diverse scenery on each tour.
We’ll guide you not only through levada walks and laurissilva forest trails in the mountains, but also by coastal trails near the blue sea of Madeira Island.
These tours are shared with other guests turning into a fun and social experience where the participants share their passion for hiking and nature.

If you don’t want to share a tour with other guests because you want to have your time in the nature taking pictures and enjoy what’s around you, you can book one of these tours.
You can select the same tour you find in the Daily Walking Tours schedule, but you select the day of you preference.
There are also some different tours that you can book, some for longer distance and difficulty, but also some easier ones. This is the perfect customized option for you.

Lido Promenade
The Lido coastal promenade in Funchal, is well known for the many tourist facilities it offers and the extensive leisure area much appreciated by locals as well as tourists. Lined with palm trees and bordered by splendid botanical gardens, this promenade links the Lido area with the pebbled Praia Formosa beach at the western end of Funchal, offering breathtaking views over the sea and towards Cabo Girão to all those who stroll, walk or run along there… or who just relax on one of the many benches!
Do you want to go for a swim in the sea or just sunbathe? All along this promenade there are several opportunities to enjoy these activities. There are two public swimming pool complexes – Lido , with a really large seawater pool, and Ponta Gorda – as well as the private swimming pool complex of Clube Naval, all of which offer extensive leisure facilities with seawater and separate children’s pools, sea access, sports activities, restaurants, snack bars, etc… But if you prefer, you can also go to Gorgulho Beach. As you can see, the Lido area has all you need for spending a relaxing day at the sea front!
You can now enjoy the new live webcams at Lido , Ponta Gorda , and Barreirinha in Funchal.
Along the Lido promenade you will also find some nice restaurants of different categories (some of them are a little bit hidden inside the public swimming pool areas) and with varied offers, giving you the opportunity to enjoy your dinner while admiring magnificent sunsets and breathtaking views over the ocean and the surrounding areas!

I presume you're talking about taking a Lido Tour to the Verada do Larano?
It's probably the finest walk on the island and is perfectly accessible by public transport. Invest in the Sunflower walking book where it's described.
It's a walk you need good weather for, so that's another reason not to book a tour.
I read it as Lido tours company.May be wrong.Seven word question doesn't help..
My advice - avoid organised tours. It’s so easy to organise yourself.
Unless you are rather timid and need everything arranging for you.
So ,if someone is apprehensive for various reasons about going it alone a tour is an excellent choice.
