ryan gosling and margot robbie in barbie the movie

We all know that the plot of this summer's Barbie movie (in theaters July 21) revolves around Barbie and Ken swapping Barbie's Dreamhouse for the real world. (Although, if we're honest, we'd love to swap our world for Barbieland for a bit). And thanks to the newest announcement from Barbie the Movie 's Instagram, Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling (who play Barbie and Ken, respectively) will be taking a trip around our world, just like their characters.

See on Instagram

"You don't have to go all the way to Barbieland to hang with Barbie and Ken," Robbie says in the promo.

"Margot and I are taking this show on the road," Gosling adds.

The film hits theaters on July 21, but the Barbie team is doing more than just one big premiere — they're doing eight premieres. Films often host premieres in different countries, allowing fans all over the world to be a part of the experience. And Barbie the Movie is no different.

Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling will embark on a world tour that, in addition to the usual New York City and Los Angeles, includes six more cities:

  • Toronto, Canada
  • Sydney, Australia
  • Seoul, South Korea
  • Mexico City, Mexico
  • London, England
  • Berlin, Germany

Not only does the promo give us that exciting news, but it also features some amazing fashion choices, just like we've seen throughout the entire promotional process. From CinemaCon to showing the cast their own IRL Barbie dolls , the fashion choices have put creativity at the forefront. Well, creativity and pink, of course.

We're obsessed with Robbie's corset and mini skirt (a combo fit for a Barbie doll if you ask us). Gosling is also rocking pink, just a more laidback salmon that will definitely influence our next swimsuit cover up purchase.

And, just like us, the pair also has their summer packing list top of mind: "Are you packing your roller blades?" Robbie asks, to which Gosling gives her a smirk. "You know I can't roller blade in real life."

Margot Robbie’s Complete Barbie World Tour Wardrobe Gets the Art Book Treatment

Stylist Andrew Mukamal shares never-before-seen looks from the film’s press tour.

Margot Robbie in Chanel in the Barbie: The World Tour book

After the actors' strike shut down the Barbie press tour just before the movie hit theaters—with record-breaking sales at the box office—last July, the film’s star, Margot Robbie , her stylist Andrew Mukamal, and other members of Robbie’s team were having tea at Claridge's in London. "It was a celebration, but also bittersweet, because it was the end of a special and exciting moment for all of us," Mukamal remembers.

They weren't sure when they would all be together next. At that point, putting together a book-length project of Robbie's Barbie-inspired looks was a dream put on pause. Luckily, it eventually materialized into a reality.

Barbie: The World Tour , from Rizzoli, is out in the world on March 19 with 160 glorious pages of incredible images by photographer Craig McDean. The coffee-table book also includes luscious collages combining sketches and notes from the designers, images of vintage Barbie inspiration and snapshots of Robbie stunning on the red carpet.

Many of the looks featured will be familiar to anyone who gobbled up Getty Images of Robbie as she promoted her work on the Greta Gerwig-directed film. Think, for instance, of the c ustom Hervé Léger bandage dress that put a spin on Barbie's iconic black and white striped bathing suit, or Versace's interpretation of the doll's famous "Day to Night" 1985 ensemble, featuring a clunky early cell phone and all.

Robbie in Versace

barbie world tour mexico

Other looks will be completely new to the reader, including the outfits that Robbie and Mukamal didn't take out on the road when tour stops were canceled for strike-related reasons. For instance, a stunning overcoat with a matching brocaded dress by Miu Miu replicating Barbie's "Evening Splendor" that Robbie was supposed to debut in Tokyo.

For Mukamal, Barbie: The World Tour, is the book he’d always dreamed of making.

Barbie: The World Tour

"As a teenager, I was obsessed with fashion images, magazines, books,” he said, reflecting on the joy of leafing through “something where you could see the references, the process, fabric swatches, handwriting, final product.” He adds, “If I were younger, this would probably blow my mind."

The beginnings of the project came about before Robbie ever stepped foot on a red carpet, as she and Mukamal were preparing for her eventual press tour. Mukamal gathered his ephemera and inspirations in a folder, including sketches and swatches; that folder became his "happy place."

barbie world tour mexico

Once creative director Fabien Baron, who was also responsible for the collages, came on, he wanted to carry the idea over to the page. "It should feel like a journal, like a narrative," Baron says. "There's so much storytelling in Barbie."

The photoshoot for the book happened in just three days—post-strike, of course. McDean, Mukamal, Robbie, Baron, and set designer Stefan Beckman created environments specific to the clothing. "I approached each look as its own unique thing," McDean says. "Some looks we did more simply, and others had more layers with things like sets and props. Margot is incredible to work with because she gives you such a range of characters to capture."

Robbie wearing Vivienne Westwood

barbie world tour mexico

Robbie threw herself into the book with the gusto you might expect. Wearing Schiaparelli's "Solo in the Spotlight" black sequined gown, she gives Barbie-as-chanteuse. In Givenchy's polka-dotted "Gay Parisienne," she looks particularly doll-like, eyes wide. "When she is in work mode and she sprays her Barbie perfume on her and she's just gliding in and out of outfits, she's the first one running to set," Mukamal says. "We're all chasing after her." (Yes, Robbie has a specific perfume she wears to inhabit the spirit of Barbie. Mukamal could not confirm the brand.)

The book was produced quickly to meet the Barbie moment. "To me, it's a document," Baron says. "It's what it meant at that time, and what it did to America as a film. The timing was super crucial."

Some of that significance is summed up in the forward by former British Vogue editor-in-chief Edward Enniful, which explains how "it's very rare that a film traverses the globe in the way the Barbie movie has." You can also spot it in the personalized notes written on the sketches. Donatella Versace, for instance, scribbles: "My first memory of Barbie was seeing her iconic blonde hair and understanding she was a powerful woman who could be anything. A total inspiration!"

Robbie in Chanel

barbie world tour mexico

These intimate contributions from designers are some of the treasures of the book. For instance, Mukamal put Robbie in a 1992 minidress by Bob Mackie for an after-party. Because he bought the dress on The Real Real for $500—a steal for that kind of find—he reached out to Mackie for an original sketch. Mackie, who has a long history with Barbie, wanted to sketch the dress anew, with Robbie in it. "Everybody else was putting Margot's head on the idea of the outfit before it was produced, before she wore it," Mukamal says. "And this was going backward with this one look, which felt so incredible."

The book perhaps is the final evolution of Robbie's journey as Barbie. After all, if you measure a real Barbie against the image of her on the cover, laid out as if in a box, you'll find they are the exact same size.

Margot Robbie Shimmers in a Perfectly Pink Minidress at Barbie: The World Tour Book Party

The actress and her stylist, Andrew Mukamal, appeared at the event to celebrate the release of their new book

Gonzalo Marroquin/Patrick McMullan via Getty

Margot Barbie is back!

While appearing at an event in celebration of the launch of her book Barbie: The World Tour with her stylist, Andrew Mukamal, Margot Robbie wore yet another perfectly pink outfit.

The actress, 33, wore a pink and silver chainmail Versace minidress with matching heels and carried a clear Versace handbag. It bore a striking resemblance to another pink Versace minidress she wore last June (that was previously worn by Claudia Schiffer ). And this argyle-print chainmail dress is also a favorite of Schiffer's! She's worn the floor-length version in the yellow and green colorways !

Donatella Versace herself was also in attendance at the book party, as was the film's director Greta Gerwig , along with Zoë Kravitz , Channing Tatum , Hailey Bieber and more.

The new book, which officially releases March 19, takes a look through Robbie's outfits from the Barbie press tour last year, all styled by Mukamal. While traveling the world to promote the film, the actress wore countless outfits that were either recreations of Barbie doll outfits or outfits that looked like they were plucked right out of Barbieland.

Mukamal and Robbie took all of the looks and put them together in this book.

"This book was an idea I had in my living room when I started dreaming about Margot’s wardrobe for the 'Barbie' press tour in March 2023. I could have never imagined just a few months later we’d be in the studio shooting this project with the team of our dreams," he wrote on Instagram in January when announcing the book.

One of Robbie's most iconic Barbie looks from the press tour includes Enchanted Evening Barbie from the 1960s at the London premiere in a Vivienne Westwood dress.

Robbie wore a blush pink satin draped corset dress with a matching side train, accented by a rose motif brooch inside the flower-shaped orb. Her look also featured a white tulle stole and matte ivory opera gloves.

Wearing a chic updo with face-framing bangs, Robbie styled the vintage look with a pair of silver peep-toe jeweled Christian Louboutin heels and a multilayered Assael pearl necklace and earrings.

Mattel Inc.; Karwai Tang/WireImage

She channeled another Barbie from the '60s for the film's world premiere last summer as well. This time it was Solo in the Spotlight Barbie , and Robbie wore custom Schiaparelli.

Her bustier dress, designed by creative director Daniel Roseberry, boasted sequin embroidery and a multi-layered tulle hem. A red hand-painted embroidered rose decorated the hem, matching Robbie’s red lipstick and toenails.

While speaking with PEOPLE on the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere, she said that these Barbie-inspired looks have been incredible to recreate .

“We're finding Barbie references from decades past and just doing it really for the big Barbie fans out there, people who are actually collecting those Barbies. We're hoping to get them excited,” she said. “We're pairing Barbie references with great designers.”

She also had her own take on the doll’s over-the-top glam: “Well, it's not subtle, but it's very fun!”

Margot Robbie and Andrew Mukamal Take Vogue Inside the Making of their Barbie: The World Tour Book

They were the looks seen round the world: Margot Robbie in a mini black-and-white Hervé Léger bandage dress, cat-eye sunglasses across her face; Robbie in a fuchsia pencil skirt and matching blazer, a crystal-bedecked Judith Leiber cell-phone clutch in tow; Robbie wearing a ruffle-hem Emilio Pucci dress, long crimped hair cascading down her back. Each look, styled by Andrew Mukamal for the Barbie press tour, defined modern method dressing . Now the internet-breaking fashions are being immortalized in Barbie: The World Tour , a coffee-table book by Mukamal and Robbie, out March 19 from Rizzoli.

A few weeks ago, on a blustery afternoon in New York City, Mukamal visited the Vogue office to walk us through an advance copy of the book; Robbie joined the conversation via Zoom.

“I had the idea when I was in one of the [tour] fittings with Margot,” Mukamal says of the project. “I was collecting all these sketches and fabric swatches from designers, and I was like, ‘Wow, all of this would make the most beautiful coffee-table book.’” While Robbie was also keen to acknowledge the sartorial triumphs of all who contributed to the promotional wardrobe, that desire was heightened when the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike began, abruptly cutting the tour short following a stop in London; trips to New York, Berlin, and Tokyo were canceled. “We still had a bunch of looks that didn’t get their moment,” Robbie says. “We were like, ‘Oh, that’s so sad.’ But then Andrew found a way for them to have their moment.”

A who’s who of creative talents brought the book to life: Art direction was led by Fabien Baron; Craig McDean signed on as photographer; and Edward Enninful wrote the foreword. The introduction and afterword were penned by Margaret Zhang and Greta Gerwig, respectively.

Ahead, Mukamal and Robbie share highlights from Barbie: The World Tour , a visual feast of vintage dolls, handwritten designer notes, and never-before-seen looks.

Andrew Mukamal: We had a reference photo, and we thought this would be an amazing way to shoot one of the looks—Margot laying flat. Obviously, it very much references Barbie in her box. This is the Claudia Schiffer Chanel suit we had intended to wear in Tokyo, which Margot also wore in the film. She’s 12 and a half inches on the book’s cover, which is exactly how tall Barbie is. If you see the book on top of a coffee table, it’s almost like a Barbie doll lying there waiting for you to play with her. Hopefully that’s what the experience of flipping through it is like—dressing her up in different outfits and being part of the process of designing them.

Margot Robbie: The method dressing was Andrew’s genius; I definitely can’t take credit. But I did say, “If there was ever an opportunity to really have fun on a press tour with the looks, it’s now.” Because Barbie and fashion are so synonymous and because the movie is so maximalist and zany and poppy and joyful, it felt appropriate to really have fun with it.

Mukamal: This was the first big moment on the tour and in Margot’s home country, so I was basically like, She has to wear a hot, cool version of the black-and-white striped bathing suit. That would just feel so spot-on to me.

Robbie: I loved it. The Hervé Léger bandage dress was a genius way of accomplishing the swimsuit look. And Jacques Marie Mage sunglasses that go with it? It was all just so cool.

Mukamal: And the Manolo [Blahnik] mules he designed specially for this project. Working with him and his team was an absolute dream.

Robbie: What impressed me most was how much research Andrew did. His ideas were insane, but they all came from the Barbie archives and his research. It never felt like we were being too crazy because it was all rooted in something real.

Mukamal: This is also from 1959, Barbie’s first year. Hubert [de Givenchy] created this bubble hem in the fifties, which is exactly what this doll was inspired by during that period. If we were going to Paris, we obviously would have worn this there, but we weren’t; Berlin was the closest we were going to get.

Robbie: And we didn’t make it to Berlin!

Intended for New York City

Robbie: I mean, this is so Barbie.

Mukamal: It would have looked really good in paparazzi photos.

Robbie: Getting photographed on the move, the little cape trailing behind—that would have looked amazing.

Mukamal: Yeah, we were thinking about that. For a city like New York, we were like, What would look cool if you get papped on the street? And [the Carolina Herrera team] killed it. They made all the jewelry custom too.

Intended for Tokyo

Mukamal: [We] were going to go to Tokyo, and we were like, Maybe it would be really cool to show up there and be still serving full-on Barbie but in a more elevated and chic way. This Miu Miu is very Miuccia.

Robbie: The look is so good. The little headband! The fur trim!

Mukamal: Gigi Burris made an insane custom headband out of extra faux fur that we got from Miu Miu. And shout-out to Gigi, who made a lot of the beautiful headwear in the book. With some of these looks, you need an expert milliner like her, and there are not enough of them in the fashion industry.

Image may contain Margot Robbie Adult Person Face Head Photography Portrait Clothing Footwear Shoe and Dress

Muakamal: We had a three-day photo shoot for the book, which, to be completely honest, was pretty insane. We were really packing it in.

Robbie: We were throwing on clothes and going and going, and then at one point, we were like, “We need a picture together.”

Mukamal: We started off quite serious, both of us standing there with our arms crossed, looking into Craig’s lens. The whole day everybody’s like, “Oh, my God, Margot, you look amazing!” And the minute I get in front of the lens, it’s crickets. [ Laughs ] Then they’re like, “Maybe you should do something, Andrew?” And I was like, “What can I do? Pin her dress?” Meanwhile, it’s a perfectly fitted custom Prada dress. So I just got down on one knee and pretended to measure the length of her dress. A few snaps later, we ended up with a really cute pic.

The Barbie universe—or Barbieverse, if you will—is expanding with a new book. While prospects of a sequel or spin-off are low, minds behind the popular film have just announced the next best thing: a fashion coffee table tome.

Given that Margot Robbie ‘s fabulously pink outfits as the beloved doll were a major part of the movie and its surrounding promotion, it only makes sense that they are documented in a tome. On Monday, Mattel and Rizzoli, a major publishing company, announced Barbie: The World Tour , featuring “all the glamour and high style of the most popular doll in the world.” The tome will commemorate all the bespoke and thoughtfully-made looks styled by Andrew Mukamal for Robbie, which took over the internet during the press tour. “This book is the culmination of tens of thousands of hours of work by some of the most talented and creative visionaries and designers on Earth,” Mukamal said in a statement about the book. “Margot and I felt compelled to share this with the world. We hope you love it as much as we do.”

googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display("desktop-halfpage-single3"); }); View this post on Instagram   A post shared by Andrew Mukamal (@andrewmukamal)

The cover of the book features Margot Robbie as Barbie dressed in her signature pink Chanel tweed set and laid down as if in a doll box, with all of her accessories from the fashion house carefully placed around her.  Barbie: The World Tour will be aptly published on March 8, also known as International Women’s Day, and feature a foreword by Edward Enninful, an introduction by Margaret Zhang, and an afterword by Barbie writer-director Greta Gerwig. Photography by Craig McDean, and text from Robbie and Mukamal, along with all designers who created the Barbie looks—including Chanel’s Virginie Viard, Donatella Versace, Balmain’s Olivier Rousteing, former Moschino creative director Jeremy Scott—will also be a part of the book.

Check out some of the Barbie looks you can expect to see in the book below.

Barbie(TM): The World Tour

Author margot robbie and andrew mukamal, photographs by craig mcdean, foreword by edward enninful, introduction by margaret zhang, afterword by greta gerwig, contributions by fabien baron.

For the press tour following the record-breaking release of Greta Gerwig’s award-winning, acclaimed Barbie movie, producer and star Margot Robbie and her stylist Andrew Mukamal immersed themselves in some of Barbie’s most iconic outfits and curated vintage pieces, then approached designers, from Giorgio Armani to Donatella Versace, to create looks inspired by the doll-size originals. Many of these looks were not seen as the official Barbie press tour was cut short—so Margot and Andrew worked with renowned fashion photographer Craig McDean to shoot her in the looks exactly as they were curated: Schiaparelli in Los Angeles, Vivienne Westwood in London, vintage Chanel with matching Steamline luggage at the airport, and beyond.   Accompanying McDean’s sumptuous photography are original Barbie dolls from the period, a treasure trove of rare materials from Mattel’s Barbie fashion archives, and the designers’ sketches and Polaroids from fittings, layered into evocative collages by Fabien Baron, who conceived and produced the shoots and art-directed the book. With text by Margot Robbie and Andrew Mukamal, as well as handwritten contributions from the designers behind the looks (from Olivier Rousteing and Michelle Ochs to Manolo Blahnik and Jeremy Scott), this unique book blends the serious chic of high fashion with the serious fun of Barbie world—the dolls, the history, and the style that have captured imaginations for 65 years. Think pink! A year before Greta Gerwig’s Oscar-nominated Barbie set box office records last summer, fuchsia styles inspired by the fashion -forward Mattel doll had already taken over the fashion world. (No doubt we can also thank the Barbie industrial marketing machine for that.) Ahead of her red carpet debut at the Oscars, Barbie is celebrating her 65th anniversary with a slew of stylish collaborations.

Nominated for eight Academy Awards, the film is streaming on Max and stars Robbie as Barbie and Ryan Gosling as Ken. Barbie also stars Kate McKinnon, Issa Rae, Simu Liu, Dua Lipa, Ritu Arya, Michael Cera and Emerald Fennel as Mattel dolls in the flesh and America Ferrera, Helen Mirren, Will Ferrell and others as humans. During the Barbie press tour in Los Angeles, Sydney, Seoul, Mexico City and London, the director and her stars sported their best beyond-Barbie Land looks on the pink carpet. On set, Robbie enacted a weekly “pink day” where she collected fines (donated to charity) from those who failed to follow the assignment.

The uplifting color was showcased on fashion runways, as seen in Valentino creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli’s Fall/Winter 2022 Pink PP collection that was worn by Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Lizzo, Lana Condor, Drew Barrymore, Glenn Close, Tommy Dorfman and other stars. Balmain’s official Barbie collection channeled the toy icon’s spirit in doll box-esque handbags, tweed co-ord pieces, bold-shouldered monogram dresses and more. In the sports world, Lionel Messi’s new team , Inter Miami, adopted pink as their official color in 2022 after fans (and David Beckham) clamored for the fashionable flamingo hue.

The trick is to flip any doll stereotypes on their head and turn Barbie style into a power play. Ease into the trend by swapping a wardrobe essential ( a dress , trousers , handbag , sunglasses , sandals ) in the eye-popping hue and style with neutral staples. Or go all in: flaunt a glam fuchsia dress for a Malibu pool party or matchy-match all your accessories in haute pink. Because in Barbie’s world, more is infinitely more.

Barbie is opening the doors to her Dreamhouse.

Ahead of Greta Gerwig ‘s highly anticipated and star-studded “Barbie” film, out this July, the entertainment company Kilburn Live and Mattel have teamed up in creating an immersive experience called “World of Barbie” that initially kicked off in Toronto and will now tour across North America through the summer. The experience opens in Los Angeles’s Santa Monica Place on Apr. 14. Tickets are available on the Fever website for $34.50.

Of course, the highlight of the experience is Barbie’s Dreamhouse, where guests will be able to explore the exquisitely designed rooms of the life-size Malibu mansion complete with a patio and pool, and walk-in closets filled with garments from decades of iconic Barbie fashion history.

The Los Angeles run will also feature special events and after-hour celebrations. Starting in late May, 21+ guests will be invited to Sips after Sunset, a recurring event with DJ-driven music and specialty cocktails, while June will see the opening of Pink Carpet Night, where guests will be encouraged to wear their most glamorous, “Barbiecore” attire for a night of live music, dancing and drinks.

Warner Bros. released the official trailer for Gerwig’s “Barbie” film last month. While plot details have been kept tightly under wraps, the film does find Barbie and Ken stuck in the real world, where the former discovers the challenges of being a live woman. Robbie stars opposite Ryan Gosling, who plays Barbie’s longtime boy toy Ken.

Along with Robbie and Gosling, the star-studded cast includes Will Ferrell, Emma Mackey, Connor Swindells, Nicola Coughlan, Emerald Fennell, Kate McKinnon, Michael Cera, Simu Liu, America Ferrera, Ncuti Gatwa and Issa Rae, among many others.

Margot Robbie with an inset of the "Barbie: The World Tour" book

Come on Barbie, let’s go walk the red carpet.

Margot Robbie and her stylist Andrew Mukamal culminated a fashion-filled chapter in her career with “Barbie: The World Tour” ( $55 $31) — a book chronicling her many unforgettable “Barbie” press tour outfits .

And with Amazon’s Big Spring Sale is in full swing, the hot-off-the-presses pink coffee table book is already on sale for nearly 45% off.

“Barbie: The World Tour”

"Barbie: The World Tour" book

The 160-page project combines sketches, archival Barbie photos and notes from the designers with (what else?) images of Robbie all dolled up in Mukmal’s Mattel-inspired style selections, shot by famed fashion photographer Craig McDean

And while “Barbie” fanatics will recognize many of the looks — who could forget when she cosplayed 1985’s Day-to-Night Barbie , complete with a fake phone? — there’s also some never-before-seen gems from carpets cancelled amid the SAG Aftra Strike.

“This book was an idea I had in my living room when I started dreaming about Margot’s wardrobe for the “Barbie” press tour in March 2023,” Mukmal wrote in an Instagram post announcing the release.

Margot Robbie in a pink dress

“I could have never imagined just a few months later we’d be in the studio shooting this project with the team of our dreams,” he added, before thanking Robbie for “bringing me on this wild ride and being the most incredible and trusting partner.”

Amazon's Big Spring Sale is HERE!

In addition to books, plenty of beauty buys are also dramatically discounted during Amazon’s Spring Sale — including some of Robbie’s standbys.

She’s shouted out Lancer Cleanser ( $90 $86) and Klorane Dry Shampoo ( $42 $19) in interviews over the years, once telling British Vogue she “can’t be without” the latter.

If you’re looking to watch the “Barbie” movie for the first time (or again, let’s be honest), it’s available on many streaming platforms.

When and where does the real Barbie World open? How can I book tickets for Mattel’s adventure park?

Tired of pink this summer then prepare for much more because a real-life barbie world is set to open in the united states in 2024 and it’s going to be crazy..

Paul Rudder

Given the level of success that the recently released Barbie film has enjoyed, it seems par for the course that a thematic park would follow suit. Fans young and old will soon be able to enjoy all of the trappings of the world that gave us the titular character and her beau, Ken.

Mattel to open park with Barbie World in 2024 in Arizona

According to reports, the first-ever Mattel Adventure Park will open in Glendale, Arizona in 2024. The park will feature the toymaker’s greatest hits with themed rides and attractions that will feature the likes of Barbie, Hot Wheels, He-Man, and more. Spread across nine acres, the park will form part of the larger $1 billion, 60-acre VAI Resort.

Where the Barbie zone is concerned, it’s understood that it will include the Dream Closet Experience, “where Barbie, through state-of-the-art hologram technology, is brought to life to help curate the ultimate wardrobe.” Additionally, there will also be Barbie’s Flying Theatre, where visitors will experience the greatest hits of destinations that Barbie has ventured to, such as deep space and underwater. If that wasn’t enough, patrons will also get to enjoy a rooftop bar situated on top of the Barbie Beach House. There guests can enjoy views of the park as well as a wide range of signature pink drinks.

Don’t like Barbie? No problem

Not the biggest fan of Barbie? No worries. As mentioned above the park will also feature attractions from Mattel’s other major brands such as a Hot Wheels-themed double-looping rollercoaster and go-karting experience, a 4,5000sq-ft laser tag arena based on Masters of the Universe’s main characters He-Man and She-Ra, along with the famous Castle Grayskull which was featured in both series. Reports indicate that there will also be a Thomas and Friends treasure hunt journey. Continuing with the list of attractions, reports have indicated that games such as Pictionary and Uno will be given new life via giant play and climbing structures and even a themed nine-hole mini golf course. The proposed park is the product of a partnership between Mattel and EPIC Resort Destinations and while no official opening date has been released, it’s widely expected that it will open its doors in 2024.

Mattel Exces reveal they want to essentially create a cinematic universe following the success of #Barbie with 14 properties already in active development, including: • Barney • Polly Pocket • Hot Wheels • Magic 8 Ball • UNO • Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Robots • Christmas Balloon… pic.twitter.com/MGnBrUQ9Za — Pop Base (@PopBase) July 26, 2023

“We are extremely excited to add Barbie, Masters of the Universe, and Mattel Games-themed attractions and rides to an already outstanding offering in development at the first-ever Mattel Adventure Park,” Epic Resort Destinations president Mark Cornell said in a statement. “We have spared no expense to bring these iconic brands to life in ways that will delight visitors of all ages for years to come.” If you’re wondering, the location of the park is just 20 minutes from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. VAI Resort, of which Mattel Adventure Park is just one part, will be the largest resort in Arizona, thanks to more than 1,100 hotel rooms, 12 restaurants, a $40m concert venue, a six-acre swimming pool, and a man-made beach. That’s to say, prepare yourself.

How to get tickets for Barbie World?

As mentioned above, there is no official opening date for the park, and as such there are understandably no tickets available at this time. On the other hand, if you’d like to keep up to date with the park and everything that’s going on, you can actually watch the real-time video feed of construction and other developments. Be sure to keep checking as there will undoubtedly be updates coming soon.

¿Dónde comprar el libro ‘Barbie: The world tour’?

Kristen Stewart Uses Naked Dressing to Make a Point

Her press tour for “Love Lies Bleeding” was something to see.

Ms. Stewart poses in front of a “Love Lies Bleeding” curtain in a black bodysuit, cut very high on the thigh, and black stilettos.

By Vanessa Friedman

Even in the context of the current pantsless trend prevalent on the runway and in some celebrity circles, as well as the vogue for thematic dressing at movie openings, Kristen Stewart’s looks during her press tour for “ Love Lies Bleeding ” have stood out. Rarely has an actress been so unapologetically, gloriously undressed.

Ms. Stewart and her stylist, Tara Swennen, have taken the film’s carnality and covert politics and translated them for the promotional panopticon, forcing anybody watching to confront their own preconceptions about women’s bodies, their sexuality and exactly what empowerment means, while at the same time undermining the whole circus of branded celebrity dressing.

That’s a lot of subtext under very little — clothing, that is. But it was adroitly managed and awfully entertaining to see.

Margot Robbie had fun dressing à la Barbie during her “Barbie” press tour ; Zendaya captured eyeballs and social media during her “Dune: Part Two” camera calls dressed in sci-fi-themed Mugler, Givenchy and Alaïa; and the cast of “Godzilla Minus One” walked the Oscar red carpet in matching lizard-heel footwear. But with her “Love Lies Bleeding” appearances, Ms. Stewart took the concept of character cosplay to a new, more pointed level.

It started in Berlin back in February, when Ms. Stewart shed her shirt for the film’s European premiere, wearing a very short Chanel couture patchwork miniskirt, matching blazer and knit bralet. (She is a Chanel ambassador.) She raised the ante with a controversial Rolling Stone cover in which she wore only a Nike tank top and a jockstrap.

And when she showed up for the film’s Los Angeles premiere in only a “skirts, who needs ’em?” Bettter bodysuit, cut very high on the thigh, with sheer black tights, a black blazer and black stilettos, it was clear that such choices were not mere flukes but a conscious strategy.

As it happens, the motto of Bettter, a label that repurposes men’s suiting for women, is “empower rather than overpower.” Which, given the movie being celebrated, a queer film noir set in a small town in 1980s New Mexico and, as one reviewer wrote, a “ deconstruction of cinematic hypermasculinity ,” is pretty much on the nose.

It was when the promotional juggernaut reached New York, though, that Ms. Stewart really showed her hand. As well as other body parts, in an abbreviated black mini worn with a mesh bra, garter belt-’n’-stockings and a leather blazer for “Late Night With Seth Meyers” and a sheer Monot draped chain halter for “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.” Paparazzi caught her exiting her building in tiny cream-colored knit hot pants and a bra worn under a khaki shirt, with stilettos, and then in athletic Chanel micro shorts and matching leg warmers. Again with heels.

The clothes were like a dare to the watching world, a refusal to cater to pretty-girls-in-pretty-dresses gender expectations and a good-natured riposte to the idea that provocation is an invitation. An “I see your judgment and raise you one” piece of fashion politics.

In so orchestrating her outfits, Ms. Stewart, who looked as if she was enjoying herself quite a lot, thank you, demonstrated just how much can be said on the pseudo red carpet even without an E! host asking the point of what she was wearing. You really couldn’t miss her point. After all, she wasn’t exactly covering it up.
