Beijing Food Tour - Secret Food Tours

tripadvisor

Beijing has a history dating back thousands of years. For most of that time it's been China's most important city, but the surprising truth is that it's older than the country of China itself.

With such a long, rich history, it should be no surprise that Beijing also has a vibrant, diverse food scene. Our Beijing food tours will peel back this ancient city's mystique, revealing the techniques and traditions that go into classic dishes like Beijing roast duck and donkey burgers.

As China's capital, Beijing is also a great location to sample Chinese food from around the country. You'll see what goes into dumplings, get an authentic view of the city's iconic food carts, and more.

It sounds delicious, and we guarantee you that it is. Don't take our word for it, though. Book one of our Beijing secret food tours today and experience the wonder first-hand.

Your lifetime Beijing culture and food tour begins with the welcome from your local guide at the Beijing airport. Then be escorted to your hotel in a private vehicle.

In the evening, you can taste the most authentic Beijing snacks in Huguo Temple Snack Street . The street contains the essence of Beijing snacks and is very popular among the locals. Lǘdagunr , Cooked Beef or Sheep Tripe , Noodles with Soy Bean Paste Beijing Style , and Yellow Pea Cake are good choices for you.

After the dinner, you'll be driven back to your hotel

 alt=

After breakfast, start to explore the historical face of Beijing with a brief visit to  Tiananmen Square  which is now the largest city plaza in the world. Tiananmen Gate on the northern square was the site where the Chairman Mao announced the establishment of the People's Republic of China. Stepping into the Tiananmen, you will see one of the world’s 5 most important palaces –  Forbidden City , a huge palace complex of more than 9,000 rooms where 24 emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties used to live in. Pass through various doorways to admire the magnificent and well preserved buildings decorated with yellow glazed tile roof, white marble base and splendid colorful paintings.

Leave Forbidden City, and drive about 6km to next imperial site –  Temple of Heaven . It was originally used to pay homage to Heaven and pray for harvest, now becomes a bustling place for locals to take part in traditional activities, such as Tai Chi, dancing, kite flying, water calligraphy, etc.

After the tour, you will have dinner at Niujie Snack Street . This street is full of Muslim flavors and old Beijing flavors. Beef and mutton cooked in different ways can be eaten here.

After the dinner, back to your hotel.

Ancient Forbidden City Home to the Emperors for Centuries

After breakfast, drive about 70km to witness one of the Seven Wonders of the World - the Great Wall . Visit the Mutianyu , a less crowded yet well-preserved segment of the Great Wall built in the Ming Dynasty. It will more than live up to all of your expectations! You’ll take a cable car to ascend the Great Wall, then hike the most beautiful and interesting part of Mutianyu. It's a wonderful experience to climb up its rising towers to enjoy scenic views and take brag-worthy photos of the wall wriggling along mountain ridges. After the exciting time, descend Mutianyu Great Wall by cable car. (Note: If energy permits, you can hike up or down which takes about 40 minutes to climb steps. Please tell your likes to your travel consultant.)

Continue your trip to Sacred Way , a 7-kilometer-long passage leading to the Imperial Tombs of 13 Emperors of Ming Dynasty. The Emperor, known as the Son of the Heaven, who came from Heaven to his country through the Sacred Way, also would return to Heaven through this road. Take a walk through the largest archway in China and Great Palace Gate and you’ll see the magnificent stone guard of 12 sets of mythical animals and 12 officials. Then drive back to Beijing city and take a short stop at the Beijing Olympic Village to view its famous Bird’s Nest and Water Cube from the outside.

At for dinner, we prepare the flavorful dish of Peking Roast Duck or Hot Pot, Mongolian Style for you. You can choose as you wish. If you want to experience other Chinese cuisine, that's totally ok. All you have to do is telling your guide and he/she will arrange the dinner according to your request.

Peking Roast Duck

After breakfast, you are going to visit the famous imperial site -  Summer Palace (driving for 20 km and about 40 mins), the largest and best-preserved royal garden in China. It  used to be the private garden for Royal families of Qing Dynasty to decamp during the hot summer days. The palace has assembled almost the best design, skill and classic features of traditional gardening architecture of ancient China. Stroll around ancient pavilions, mansions, temples, bridges and corridors. Feast your eyes on the vast lotus in Kunming Lake and the colored paintings in Long Corridor.

Drive back to the city center. The rest day is free for you until your tour guide escort you to catch your flight (or train) to next destination. Our service ends.

The tour you put together for us was great, we got to see the major sites. We really enjoyed gubei water town and wished we had more time there.

The ski day was luckily sunny and the kids had a lot of fun. It's their first time skiing so we didn't really know what to expect. It turned out well.

Driver Mr Hu and Guide Jamie were super patient with us. My kids sleep very late so we start everyday around 9am. They were very flexible and catered well to our needs.

Feedback as follows:

1. You are fast and patient to answer.

3. Willing to recommend your service.

4. Very impressive

I loved everything about the tour and everyone that helped me along the way.

Here's some comments and photos:

China Discovery provided exceptional service in customizing our trip to Guilin, Yangshuo, and Longsheng in late February 2024. April, my travel consultant, was responsive, helpful, and friendly, addressing all my questions and needs promptly. Our tour guide, Steven, was not only friendly but also adaptable to our needs and the unexpected weather conditions (there was a cold front during our trip) without the need for me to ask. His food recommendations for our meals at every restaurant were superb and we got to taste not only the local specialty but also what the restaurant is known for. Last but not least, Mr. Young, our driver, ensured our safety with his steady driving.

Guilin Tour

Dear Ms. Jiang,

We are so pleased with your China tour and are so thankful for all your help.

All the tour guides and drivers have been excellent and we felt very well taken care off.

We felt very safe and therefore could enjoy the tour without any worries.

Not only did we see a lot we also learned a lot about China, the country, the people, etc.

I think it is of great benefit to participate in this kind of a tour, first of all we did not have to share the tour guide with other persons, so we could ask all the questions that came to mind. Also that there was no shopping as a part of the tour was a plus.

Thanks again for a wonderful experience

Afternoon Rita,

“You will hear it for yourself, and surely it will fill you with wonder,” wrote Marco Polo of his travels along with the Silk Road into the heart of a four-thousand-year-old culture. Often regarded as one of the first European explorers to bring back tales (and noodles) from the far-east, the Silk Road connected Cleopatra’s Egypt to China a thousand years before Polo was even born.

One in seven people on earth call China home, many of whom can tell and trace hundreds of stories about their community’s food heritage. That history runs deep here. Come and see the flavors merchants like Polo risked lives and years over and the stories they’ve left behind.

"The Best Dumplings I've Had"

Our guide started us off at a Buddhist temple with an adjacent vegetarian restaurant, then walked us through the former Jewish Ghetto, where 20,000 refugees lived during World War II. Winding our way through the nongtangs (old-fashioned alleyways) passing humble apartment blocks with European-style balconies, where I found the sheng jian bao of my dreams in a small storefront. They were fluffy on top, crunchy on the bottom and filled with savory, fatty juice.

In addition to trying some of the best eats in the neighborhood, you'll also have the chance to learn about the history of this community and get to meet some of the people who make the best biang biang noodles (so named for the loud way they slam onto the table) and Eight Treasures congee, which was a staple of travelers along the Silk Road thanks to its easy-to-haul ingredients like nuts, spices and seeds.

Amazing Experience in Tibetan Yunnan!

“I took this trip immediately after Lost Plate’s other Yunnan adventure (Dali to Lijiang) and the two are very different, but both fabulous. Highlights included dinner at the winemaker’s house in Cizhong and of course Yubeng, which has views that simply cannot be beat. Even if you’re not a regular hiker (I’m not), consider doing the waterfall hike. When you add up the hotels and transport and tours and personal assistance (especially with those pesky Covid tests and health codes), never mind the unending food and drink, I can’t even believe what a value Lost Plate provides. Unless you are a fluent Chinese speaker, you’re not likely to have a more varied, fun, and delicious time in Tibetan Yunnan than by taking this tour.”

Best Trip I've Ever Done in China!

“From food, wine, places to people who live there. Had such a great experience. Food, wine and scenery. The places visited were further apart so be prepared for three hours drive. Believe me the drives between each places are worth it because the views all around you are breathtaking.”

A fun, memorable, and easy way to plan a Chinese vacation.

“What a memorable trip! I’m not usually one to book vacations with tour companies but Lost Plate has me a convert! Everything was so easy, all I had to do was show up! Especially as a parent traveling alone with 2 kids and my Chinese skills are less than proficient, this made our vacation a breeze. I will go on every trip that Lost Plates offers, if I can. From booking to accommodations, activities, tours, timing, transportation, our sweet and knowledgeable guide, Noble, EVERYTHING was spot on. Don’t look any further, just put your vacation in the hands of Lost Plate.”

Perfect mix of sightseeing and eating!

“This is my second multi-day tour with Lost Plate and I hope it won’t be my last. I saw all the top sights, ate like a queen, and kept my all-important health code green. The last bit might not be the most exciting part of travel but it is the most worrisome if not take care of. I know most people come to Xi’an to see the terracotta warriors and while they are spectacular, there’s so much more to Xi’an and on this tour you’ll get to experience it. The food can be the true highlight in Xi’an, at least when you’re with Lost Plate. It’s hard to choose a favorite meal but I think the evening and morning food tours of the Muslim quarter were my personal favorites. The best part of being with a group is that you can order (and taste) far more dishes than if you were on your own or with just one other person. Plus they’ve done the advance legwork to find you the best places to eat. Highest possible recommendation for anyone who wants the convenience of a tour/guide but an alternative to a big bus tour.”

Get a Taste of Chengdu, UNESCO City of Gastronomy.

“Daisy our guide was knowledgeable and fun (spoke very good English too!) and we got to taste great local food at 4 stops. Capped off the night in a cool bar with plum wine. The tuktuk ride added to the experience and some of the Chengdu food we tasted included Dan Dan noodles, Tianshui Noodles, Lamb Skewers, Dumplings etc., some seasoned with Sichuan spices and all very tasty and delicious. This was our third Lost Plate tour (Beijing evening tour and 1 week Yunnan experience prior) and as always, we had a blast and can only recommend!”

A Taste of Chengdu!

“I had heard Chengdu had amazing food and this tour made sure we got to sample it all. I was only in town with a friend for 1 night so we wanted to maximize our time and eat all the food we could. This Lost Plate tour was the best way to accomplish this. I had done the Beijing Lost Plate Food Tour and loved. On this tour you not only get to eat some of the most famous dishes in this region, but you also get to find the hidden gems of the city in just a few hours. The tuktuk ride is safe and adds charm to the adventure. Our guide Patricia was wonderful and we learned so much about the food culture of Chengdu from her. We ended at the coolest little bar that had so much personality too. Will be back and will definitely try another of the Lost Plate’s tours.”

Chengdu Evening Food Tour Review by Diane

A Truly Memorable Experience!

My partner and I loved every single moment of this tour. The itinerary took us through breathtaking scenery off the beaten path, it felt like we went on an adventure! Our guide was incredibly attentive and helpful, and we had a lot of fun spending time with her and the rest of the crew. The food was absolutely delicious and we all looked forward to our next meal despite being still full from the previous one! We’ll definitely join more Lost Plate tours while we live in China.

Eat Your Way Through Shangrila Trip Review by Ilaria

This was a fabulous trip put on by a fabulous organization!

I had already been on their evening food tours in Chengdu and Xi’an, and these longer trips had come highly recommended by a friend. It absolutely lived up to her hype. This is an off-the-tourist-trail adventure for sure, which might not be for everyone, but was exactly what I was looking for. The food was always delicious and the travel and accommodations were as good as the areas allowed. I would strongly recommend Lost Plate for an uncommon adventure!

Ask us anything, we love a good question.

Zhajiang noodles (also known as zhajiang mian) consists of noodles topped with a thick meat sauce. It is considered one of the hallmark dishes of Beijing cuisine.

The main component of the dish is the zhajiang sauce. This is made by stir-frying ground pork or beef with salty fermented soybean paste.

This gives the sauce its signature savory umami flavor. Diced vegetables like carrot, cabbage, and bean sprouts are also commonly added.

The sauce is ladled generously over noodles – typically thick wheat noodles, but thin egg noodles may also be used. When tossed together, the noodles absorb the rich flavors of the meat sauce.

Fast food workers are losing their jobs in California as new minimum wage law takes effect

Among the chains announcing cuts ahead of a $4 increase to the minimum wage in california are pizza hut and round table pizza. the state's minimum wage will rise to $20 on april 1..

beijing food tour company

An earlier version of this story attributed the combined number of eliminated positions to a single company. The story has been updated to reflect some of the anticipated cuts at individual employers .

Fast food workers are losing their jobs in California as more restaurant chains prepare to meet a new $20 minimum wage set to go into effect next week.

Restaurants making cuts are mostly pizzerias, according to a report published by The Wall Street Journal. Multiple businesses have plans to axe hundreds of jobs, as well as cut back hours and freeze hiring, the report shows.

Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom signed the Fast Act back in September to require fast food chains with 60 or more locations nationwide to meet that wage increase after labor unions fought for it alongside the healthcare industry, which will also see a boost to earnings in June.

"This is a big deal," Newsom said alongside union members in September. "That's 80% of the workforce."

Layoffs began last year

Pizza Hut announced cuts to more than 1,200 delivery jobs in December, previous reporting by USA TODAY shows. Some Pizza Hut franchises in California also filed notices with the state saying they were discontinuing their delivery services entirely, according to Fox Business.

"Where select California franchisees have elected to make changes to their staffing approach, access to delivery service will continue to be available via Pizza Hut’s mobile app, website and phone ordering and the customer ordering experience will remain consistent," a Pizza Hut spokesperson told USA TODAY Wednesday.

Excalibur Pizza, a franchisee of Round Table Pizza, has plans to cut 73 driver jobs in April, which amounts to 21% of its workforce, the company confirmed with USA TODAY Wednesday.

"The franchisee is transferring their delivery services to third-party. While it is unfortunate, we look at this as a transfer of jobs," a company rep told USA TODAY. "As you know, many California restaurant operators are following the same approach due to rising operating costs."

No exemptions, Newsom says

The legislation indicated that businesses that “feature ice cream, coffee, boba tea, pretzels, or donuts” could meet the definition of a “fast food restaurant covered by the law," according to The National Law Review's breakdown of the bill. The law could extend to similar businesses that provide things like sweets and drinks.

Greg Flynn, who has monopoly over Panera franchises in California, tried to get out of the state's new mandate earlier this year, according to Bloomberg , holding fast to a loophole that restaurants making in-house bread do not have to boost employee earnings.

Newsom's office called the claim "absurd," telling the Los Angeles Times that the restaurant chain would see no such exemption.

Chipotle's CFO  told Yahoo Finance  that the company will be forced to increase their prices to comply with the minimum wage increase.

A rep shared a statement with USA TODAY on Thursday saying the company will "continue to make improvements to their partners' experience and compensation.”

Combined with benefits, Starbucks' current comprehensive compensation package for all U.S. hourly partners totals an average of $30 per hour.

“We believe that success is best when it is shared and this extends to our partners at all levels in California," the spokesperson shared.

The coffee chain recently closed seven of its stores in the state of California, USA TODAY previously reported .

Who owns the ship that struck the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore?

By Megan Cerullo

Edited By Anne Marie Lee

Updated on: March 26, 2024 / 5:05 PM EDT / CBS News

The collapse of  Baltimore's Francis Scott Key Bridge on Tuesday after being struck by a cargo ship has raised questions about who owns and manages the ship, as well as on the potential impact on one the busiest ports in the U.S.

Called the Dali, the 948-foot vessel that hit the bridge is managed by Synergy Marine Group, a Singapore-based company with over 660 ships under management around the world, according to its website . The group said the ship was operated by charter vessel company Synergy Group and chartered by Danish shipping giant Maersk at the time of the incident, which sent vehicles and people tumbling into the Patapsco River.

"We are horrified by what has happened in Baltimore, and our thoughts are with all of those affected," Maersk said in a statement to CBS News Tuesday, in which it also confirmed the ship was carrying cargo for Maersk customers. The company had no crew or personnel aboard the ship.

The Dali, which can carry up to 10,000 twenty-foot equivalent units, or TEUs, was carrying nearly 4,700 containers at the time of the collision. It was operated by a 22-person, Indian crew. It was not immediately clear what kind of cargo the ship was carrying.

Who owns and manages the Dali?

The Dali is owned by Grace Ocean Private, a Singapore-based company that provides water transportation services. The ship was chartered by Danish container shipping company Maersk at the time of the collision.

Synergy Marine, founded in 2006, provides a range of ship management services, including managing ships' technical components and their crews and overseeing safety, according to S&P Capital IQ. Its parent company, Unity Group Holdings International, an investment holding company, was founded in 2008 and is based in Hong Kong.

Where was the ship headed?

The outbound ship had left Baltimore and was headed for Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka, Synergy Marine Group said in a  press release .

How busy is the Port of Baltimore?

In 2023, the Port of Baltimore handled a record 52.3 million tons of foreign cargo, worth $80 billion, according  to the office of Maryland Gov. Wes Moore. The port is also a significant provider of local jobs.

The top port in the U.S. for sugar and gypsum imports, it is the ninth busiest U.S. port by the total volume and value of foreign cargo handled. All vessel traffic into and out of the facility is currently suspended, although the port remains open and trucks continue to be processed within the its terminals, according to a statement release by Port of Baltimore officials.

What is the potential local economic impact?

Directly, the port supports 15,300 jobs, while another 140,000 in the area are related to port activities. The jobs provide a combined $3.3 billion in personal income, according to a CBS News report . The Port of Baltimore said Tuesday that it is unclear how long ship traffic will be suspended.

The disaster also caused chaos for local drivers. The Maryland Transportation Authority said all lanes were closed in both directions on I-695, with traffic being detoured to I-95 and I-895.

How could the bridge collapse affect consumers and businesses?

Experts say the bridge collapse could cause significant supply chain disruptions.

"While Baltimore is not one of the largest U.S. East Coast ports, it still imports and exports more than 1 million containers each year, so there is the potential for this to cause significant disruption to supply chains," Emily Stausbøll, a market analyst at Xeneta, an ocean and air freight analytics platform, said in a statement.

She added that freight services from Asia to the East Coast in the U.S. have already been hampered by drought in the Panama Canal, as well as risks related to conflict in the Red Sea. Nearby ports, including those in New York, New Jersey and Virginia, will be relied on to handle more shipments if Baltimore remains inaccessible.

Whether ocean freight shipping rates will rise dramatically, potentially affecting consumers as retailers pass along higher costs, will depend on how much extra capacity the alternate ports can handle, Stausbøll said. "However, there is only so much port capacity available and this will leave supply chains vulnerable to any further pressure."

Marty Durbin, senior vice president of policy at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, said that the bridge is a critical connector of "people, businesses, and communities."

"Unfortunately, its prolonged closure will likely disrupt commercial activities and supply chains that rely on the bridge and Port of Baltimore each day," he said in a statement.

What other industries could be affected?

Trucking companies could be severely affected by the disaster.

"Aside from the obvious tragedy, this incident will have significant and long-lasting impacts on the region," American Trucking Associations spokesperson Jessica Gail said, calling Key Bridge and Baltimore's port "critical components'' of the nation's infrastructure.

Gail noted that 1.3 million trucks cross the bridge every year — 3,600 a day. Trucks that carry hazardous materials will now have to make 30 miles of detours around Baltimore because they are prohibited from using the city's tunnels, she said, adding to delays and increasing fuel costs.

"Time-wise, it's going to hurt us a lot," added Russell Brehm, the terminal manager in Baltimore for Lee Transport, which trucks hazardous materials such as petroleum products and chemicals. The loss of the bridge will double to two hours the time it takes Lee to get loads from its terminal in Baltimore's Curtis Bay to the BJ's gasoline station in the waterfront neighborhood of Canton, he estimated.

Cruise operators are also being affected. A Carnival cruise ship that set off Sunday for the Bahamas had been scheduled to return to Baltimore on March 31. Carnival said Tuesday it is "currently evaluating options for Carnival Legend's scheduled return on Sunday." The company also has cruises scheduled to set sail from Baltimore through the summer.

Norwegian Cruise Line last year introduced new routes departing from the Port of Baltimore. Its sailings are scheduled for late this year. The company said the Key Bridge collapse doesn't immediately require it to reroute any ships.

Who will pay to rebuild the bridge?

President Biden said Tuesday that the federal government, with congressional support, would pay to rebuild the bridge.

"We're going to work with our partners in Congress to make sure the state gets the support it needs. It's my intention that the federal government will pay for the entire cost of reconstructing that bridge," Biden said in comments from the White House. "And I expect the Congress to support my effort. This is going take some time. The people of Baltimore can count on us though, to stick with them, at every step of the way, till the port is reopened and the bridge is rebuilt."

—The Associated Press contributed to this report.

I toured Google's new $2.1 billion office in NYC. Here are the 15 coolest things I saw.

  • In February, Google unveiled its New York City headquarters at Hudson Square.
  • Madeline Park visited the brand-new office and felt it was like an all-inclusive wellness resort.
  • Here are 15 of the coolest things about the office that stood out to her.

Insider Today

Google welcomed employees to its brand new $2.1 billion office in February in the Hudson Square neighborhood of New York City.

Called St. John's Terminal, the building is 12 stories high and was built on top of a rail terminal from the 1930s.

My friend, who works at Google, invited me to check out the new building as their guest during opening week.

Here are the coolest amenities I saw that make this office feel almost like an all-inclusive wellness resort.

1. The Great Hall

Once I got past security, I was shocked by the sheer amount of space in The Great Hall work lounge.

The lounge has super tall ceilings, cozy furniture, and a café where you can grab drinks like espresso, matcha, coffee, and chai with breakfast — all for free.

Related stories

I got an Americano, a mini egg salad sandwich, a mini ham and Swiss sandwich, and a smoked lake trout tartine.

2. The fun furniture

The chairs, in particular, caught my eye. They were super vibrant and playful.

I did a quick Google Image search and discovered that the furniture might be a mix of designer and retail. There's a nearly identical-looking bulldog stool online that goes for under $90, and the yellow chair looks like a piece called "Klara," made by Spanish designer and architect Patricia Urquiola.

3. The fully-equipped gym

An entire section of the building is dedicated to the Recreation Center. It has amenities like a spin studio, yoga room, martial arts studio, a separate space for personal training, and even a coach's office for instructors.

4. The spin studio

Google offers weekly spin classes in the private spin studio.

5. The yoga studio

The natural wood yoga studio is right around the corner from the gym and has a calming glow of light.

6. This foot-washing station

The foot-washing station has a little bench you can sit down on, along with fresh towels.

7. The martial arts studio

Next to the yoga studio, there is a fully padded and matted martial arts studio.

8. The massage room and recharge room

The rooms have various percussive and compression therapy devices.

9. "The Shop" of Google merch

Next to the lobby café, there's a dedicated shop full of Google, Android, and YouTube merch. The fitting room alone is larger than the size of my college dorm room.

The items at the store ranged from T-shirts ($30), jackets (~$100), tumblers ($15), and children's books.

10. Google-branded pet accessories

There were even pet accessories branded with the Google logo.

11. The micro kitchens

Google's snack stations come equipped with a $20,000 La Marzocco espresso machine for coffee snobs, a $6,000 digital coffee brewer for the non-coffee snobs, a pile of fresh fruit, and drawers full of snacks.

12. The cafeterias and free food

The actual cafeterias at Google's new office are the ultimate benefit and charm of working here. This cafeteria, which is one of many, is a fully vegan kitchen with a beautiful interior and unlimited, sophisticated vegan dishes.

For lunch, I ate a whipped ricotta and beet tartine, a celeriac schnitzel with sauce Gribiche, and sweet potato kimbap with a side of berries. It was all vegan and very delicious.

13. The bathrooms

The bathrooms are an amenity in itself. Google's 12th-floor all-gender bathroom has a view of the NYC skyline with floor-to-ceiling windows.

Each stall is equipped with feminine product dispensers and full-length mirrors (but alas, no bidet).

14. The coworking spaces

The best part of the office was looking into all the coworking spaces.

Google says it designed the office so that teams are assigned to different "neighborhoods" or spaces in the office — employees don't have assigned desks, so there are a lot of communal and coworking spaces.

Each coworking space is decorated with a theme. I can see how the expansive ceilings and beautifully designed spaces inspire employees to leave their homes and come into the office.

15. The view of the Hudson River

And finally, the view of the Hudson River from the building is breathtaking.

The Google office at St. John's Terminal is so big that I didn't get to explore all of it.

It was opening week, and already the office was bustling with employees and visitors like me.

Although there were a lot of people, Google seemed to have created enough space dedicated for just about everything to bring up the collaborative energy, efficiency, and even good mood of the employees.

If I worked here, I would want to show up every day.
