Role of primary education to improve your kid’s future
School is the right place for your kids to learn all the activities to enrich their lives. You must enroll in the best school when your kid reaches the right age. Primary education is the starting part of formal education in your kid’s life.
It creates the foundation for a child’s future intellectual development and growth. A child’s primary school education builds the foundation for future success. In the early stage of the child’s life, primary education plays a prominent role.
Basic education has several benefits for enhancing kids’ overall development. This education provides toddlers with a positive learning environment. So your kid can learn the basic skills that help lead a life.
Also, they will learn to face the world with confidence. Your kid can learn essential skills such as creativity, collaboration, cognitive flexibility, innovation, and many others. In this post, you will see about the Role of primary education in improving your kid’s future:
Features of primary education
The curriculum
The curriculum is an essential factor in evaluating the standard of a school. The curriculum is designed by considering the student’s capacity. So your child can explore full learning opportunities and experiences.
The curriculum of the school must be engaging, authentic, flexible, and challenging. Through this curriculum, your kid should be engaged in different problem-solving situations. Are you looking for the best school? If yes, it is perfect time to enroll your kid in Lower merion high school, in which you can see the better version of your kid.
The level of competence in a school’s faculty significantly impacts its reputation. In reality, most qualified and experienced teachers are drawn to well-liked primary schools.
Most of those teachers had training or experience with primary-level teaching methods. As a result, they can direct the kids’ real growth in several areas of life.
The best primary school provides your kid with excellent facilities . The school should include sports facilities, infrastructure facilities, clean restroom facilities, and so on.
The facilities can change the lifestyle of your kid and also helps them to develop self-worth and confidence.
Location and transport
As a parent, you need to consider the location of the school. Sometimes an excellent primary school can have the best transport system. Busy parents can use this opportunity and provide a risk-free education.
Before enrolling, you need to consider relevant features of the school that suit you and your kid’s health.
Benefits of primary education
Enhanced behavior
Children learn more in primary school than just writing and reading. As they begin to adjust to the changes and start engaging with students of a similar age, their personality is refined. Extended school days also prepare children early on for the compulsory education system.
They begin to discover the importance of sticking to a routine, develop discipline, and learn how to balance their time between school, study, and play.
As the parent of a single child, this provides an excellent opportunity for your kid to mingle with other students. Your kid will create a good bond with other children.
Through this bond, a kid can learn more about emotions and socializing and start developing their personality.
Boosts confidence
Your kid will be encouraged to be self-assured in everyday interaction with the help of primary education. Primary schools value all of their accomplishments, large and small, and help children see their skills and potential in a constructive but realistic way. Your kid gains a sense of competence, increasing self-assurance and self-esteem.
Improves child’s concentration
As kids, they are playful nature. They will pay shorter attention skills when compared to adults. Enrolling your kid in primary education helps boost your children’s concentration.
The teachers in primary education encourage your kid to listen to the class with concentration. Also, the teacher uses various ideas to seek the students’ attention. Your kid also participates actively in group activities.
Strengthen the cognitive skills
Your child need to benefit from primary education on many different levels. Students are given the skills they need to think critically, pursue excellence, and overcome the obstacles presented by technological advancements.
To meet these goals, schools must offer regulated, secure spaces for supervised learning. Children’s cognitive abilities and concentration levels are improved by receiving individualized attention and participating in various activities.
Critical skills your child learns in primary school
Communication
Primary schools provide the main focus on communication skills. Teachers in primary school motivate the student to develop communication skills. In the future world, the student must have communication skills to survive in this world.
In addition to completing earlier knowledge levels , your kid needs to be creative to reach creation, which is the ultimate level of learning. To create anything new, creativity entails finding new relationships, connections, and ways to combine things that are already well-known.
Children’s creativity and ability to think creatively and approach issues and activities in novel ways must be nurtured and valued if you want to give them the best chance of success.
Cooperation
When the teacher assists the students’ teamwork, they learn cooperation skills. They will learn to adjust and cooperate with their siblings and relatives through this talent.
With the help of this skill, your kid can achieve reasonable goals in life. Your kid can exchange opinions with the other students through communication.
Time management
Children are instructed on where to be and what to do for most of the school day. Understanding time is different from controlling time, although. Some students need to realize the time required, feel overwhelmed, and want to give up before they even begin any work.
Planning and time management skills will improve for all students if you can assist them in grasping what each activity requires. Additionally, it will inspire children to understand that everyone has unique abilities and progresses at a different rate.
Decision-making skills
Through primary education, your kid knows to choose the right career and decisions and can also choose life partners. Conducting activities and sports also allow your kid to develop decision-making skills .
The child also came to know the consequences that each decision causes. Help your child through the decision-making process by assisting them in weighing the benefits and drawbacks.
Cultivating independence
The children can feel a sense of independence while getting an education. In school, the students can learn new things independently, giving them opportunities to do tasks and activities without assistance.
Self-identity and self-esteem encourage the students to do simple tasks without help and be self-reliant.
Facing with failure
Failure is a part of life, and everyone faces. Remember that you won’t always be there to comfort your child when they feel left out or do poorly on a task.
Make sure your child knows that failing is a necessary part of learning, and encourage them to accept their failure. Inform them that failure does not define a person and that what matters is how one deals with failure and emerges more robust.
Critical thinking
One of the fundamental abilities every child should learn is critical thinking. Making inferences and analyzing and absorbing information are all made easier with critical thinking.
Give your kids the chance to play games requiring critical thinking, let them handle their problems, reflect on their answers, ask open-ended questions, and inspire them to think in novel and unconventional ways to help them develop critical thinking.
Money managing skills
Money management is an essential skill that helps your kid to save money. With this skill’s help, your kid learns to know how to spend and invest money in things. As a parent, you need to give pocket money to your kid.
Do check where your kid spends the amount. Suppose your kid wishes to buy something expensive products, ask them to save the money and buy it. By practicing like this, your kid will plan their budget and keeps the money before spending. They won’t spend money on unwanted things.
Good health and hygiene
Teaching your child the value of health and personal cleanliness at an early age is crucial. Teach them the importance of taking a bath, washing their hands, and brushing their teeth twice daily. Discuss several food varieties based on your child’s interests as well.
For instance, if your child enjoys maintaining their hair, discuss foods high in potassium and proteins. Discuss foods that improve stability and endurance with your child if they like sports and physical exercise.
Activities that your kid learns in primary school
Kids can enroll in orchestras or other music ensembles. According to educational studies, children who play musical instruments perform better in academic school courses. So encourage your kid’s skill in music.
Through communication and creative skill , your kid can participate in the debate. Participants are divided into two groups and given a topic, one group is instructed to speak in favor of the issue, while the other is required to speak against it.
Teachers in the school encourage their kids to participate actively in this competition. The student must learn to think from a different perspective, which helps to develop knowledge and provides an active environment.
A quiz is also another activity that develops the skill of the student. Teachers split the students into different groups, raising questions for them. Each question consists of a choice from which they should choose the correct answer.
Depending upon the points they are gaining, the results will be informed. Encourage your kid to participate in this type of activity. Through this activity, your kid acquires more knowledge, helps to work in teamwork, and helps stimulate memory.
The role play is different from other activities, which are full-filled. Students can form a team according to their wishes. After that, they must choose a dramatic event or conversation based on the book.
This activity helps your kid to develop interaction between the team members, which creates good bonding among the students. Your kid has the golden opportunity to express their opinions. The student also learns to act, and the classroom surroundings will be more fun and happy.
Paper presentation
Paper presentation is an activity that can be helpful for your kid in future studies. Students pack the ideas and points of the given topic after doing considerable research.
With the help of this activity, your kid can improve bold speech, knowing the in-depth evaluation of the topic. This also increases the confidence of your kid.
Kids who prefer to draw, paint, or create might benefit from joining an art program to learn art techniques and watch their creativity blossom, as many schools are cutting or limiting their special topic sessions.
For information about classes and camps, speak to your child’s art teacher or a nearby art supply shop. Some are tailored to particular artistic hobbies, like pottery or graphic design. Many art museums also provide workshops for kids.
Sports are the most common activities that every school arranges for the students. Some sports events include swimming, skating, gymnastics, and outdoor games. Allow your kid to participate in all the game vents and determine which game your kid is performing well.
Many schools provide more facilities for sports events. If your kids perform well in sports, they can quickly get accessible seats for higher education . Sports also help your kids to keep active, which promotes good health.
Encourage your kids to participate actively in scouting. A student involved in scouting will enjoy nature and be willing to try various activities.
Scouts learn the fundamentals of outdoor survival but are also required to earn badges in other subjects, including cooking, housekeeping, the arts, handling money, creating goals, and personal hygiene.
Performing arts
Dance is the most performed activity in the school. Students show much more interest in the dance rather than in other workouts.
Some young people who thrive in the performing arts may become actresses, comedians, or other performers in the professional world. Still, many more will gain confidence, make friends, and learn new skills.
Final thoughts
You need to enroll your kid in the best school for better education. It is the perfect time to admit your kid in the Lower merion high school to see the better version of your kid. Hopefully, you learned the role of primary education in improving your kid’s future. Lower Merion High School is the best high school in the Philly suburbs!

WE ARE STILL COMMITTED, ENGAGED, AND INVOLVED
Oakwell has been closed since June of 2023 but as of this moment, no new building plan has been submitted to the township So, Oakwell's fate has not been determined.
Lower Merion Township residents are urged to continue to speak out against the misuse of their taxes for Oakwell's destruction . Non-residents can make a valuable contribution by simply being there to make a visual statement. Board meetings are admittedly tiresome, but let's make it more tiresome for the board than it is for us!

I am honored to serve the Lower Merion School District as your Superintendent! I am incredibly impressed with the dedication of our administrators, faculty, staff, and Board, all of whom are focused on ensuring our students' success.
I come to LMSD with over two decades of teaching and leadership experience, having served as a teacher, principal, curriculum supervisor, assistant superintendent, and superintendent, always holding fast to the core value that ALL students can and will reach their maximum potential when we provide a high-quality education, along with the time and support they need to grow and develop.
As our students "Enter to Learn" you will see this vision manifest in a variety of ways.

THE TRUE BEAUTY OF OAKWELL
What's at stake, oakwell before construction.
The above picture is what 13.4 acres of Oakwell looks like today. Home to 700 mature trees-some in excess of 100 years old. Home to hundreds of species of birds and other animals, and is the site of numerous historical structures.
Help us Preserve Oakwell.
OAKWELL AFTER CONSTRUCTION
If the Lower Merion School District proceeds with its plans, all of those trees, animals, and structures would disappear in favor of auxiliary athletic fields to be used by the students at Black Rock Middle School. Help us Save Oakwell

OAKWELL: HOW DID WE GET HERE?
Lower Merion School District touts their excellence in education, and their cooperation with the community, But actions speak louder than words. A hasty decision made years ago threatens to destroy hundreds of trees and an historic estate. While public support to save the property is growing, the school district stubbornly continues to forge ahead with their costly, ill-conceived plan

Our Children Deserve More
Some say that those of us who oppose the School Board plan to destroy hundreds of trees for ball fields are pitting the children against the trees. Nothing could be further from the truth. Of course our children are more important than the trees. Our children are also more important than school district programs.
Yes, we do understand the importance of school sports. But the greatest threat our children face is the prospect of environmental catastrophe. Environmental degradation will have a more profound impact on our children and their generation than any school program.
The School Board has prioritized its programs before our kids’ futures. They have endorsed a plan for sports fields, and then, having acknowledged that it is an environmentally bad plan, expect compromises be made to support those plans. The School Board has it backwards.
For the benefit of our kids’ future, we first need to commit to avoiding further environmental destruction, and then, given the constraints imposed, devise the best programs possible. Our children’s planet, and therefore our children, come first, not the programs. Our children deserve better from us. Twenty years from now we want to tell them with pride we acknowledged the problem and were were part of the solution, and contributed to saving their finite, priceless natural world.
Trees And People Have An Interdependent Relationship
“When children play in natural spaces, they’re far more likely to invent their own games than in more structured settings – a key factor in becoming self-directed and inventive adults later in life”
~Richard Louv "A nation that destroys its soils destroys itself. Forests are the lungs of our land, purifying the air and giving fresh strength to our people." ~Franklin D. Roosevelt “Trees are sanctuaries.” ~ Herman Hesse

State Education Secretary Khalid N. Mumin visited Pennsylvania College of Technology on Thursday, receiving a tour of the impressive facilities and gaining a firsthand look at the institution’s innovative and effective approach to preparing the next generation of tomorrow makers.
Mumin’s campus call coincided with an exploration of Williamsport Area High School’s in-house Career and Technical Education Program.
Greeting the educational leader in the Davie Jane Gilmour Center were President Michael J. Reed; Joanna K. Flynn, vice president for academic affairs and provost; Loni N. Kline, senior vice president for college relations; Anthony J. Pace, associate vice president for enrollment & academic operations; Bradley M. Webb, dean of engineering technologies; Nate Woods Jr., special assistant to the president for inclusion transformation; and Patrick Marty, chief government & international relations officer.
The well-versed administrators led Mumin through the Center for Career Design and five academic areas: polymer engineering technology, dental hygiene, collision repair and automotive restoration, welding and metal fabrication technologies, and machining technologies. Joining him were Casey Smith, communications director of the state Department of Education, and Amy Lena, special advisor to the department’s Office of Elementary and Secondary Education.
The visit concluded with dinner in Le Jeune Chef Restaurant, where the group was joined by Sue A. Kelley, dean of business, arts and sciences; Valerie A. Myers, dean of nursing & health sciences; and Jennifer McLean, dean of students.
Mumin was appointed to his state post in 2023. For more than 25 years, he served in various capacities as a teacher, dean of students, principal and central administrator. Most recently, he served as the superintendent of schools at Lower Merion School District in Montgomery County, and prior to that, as superintendent of Reading School District. He began his educational career as a secondary English teacher.
